I celebrated by 40th birthday with The Mix in April. Overall, my experience was good and everyone had a great time. The event coordinator and the team were very nice and accommodating. They even decorated, which was super nice and convenient. My only complaint is they came out with my birthday sign, light show and drinks at a time I wasn’t in the booth, so I almost missed it, I wish they would’ve confirmed I was there first. I also realized after that 40plus get in free, and the majority of my guest were of age. Unfortunately, a few of my guest got charged even though I paid for up to 20. All good! .I would definitely book them again.

Celebrated my cousins 50th birthday here and everything was top notch!! Bottles were popping, music was great and crowd was grown up!! Security was present and attentive. Definitely will be back when in Cali!

Went to Mix to receive an award. Loved the moody, dark vibe! Awesome DJ! Appreciated the sofas in the outdoor space. Enjoyed the short ribs tacos!

My husband and I went to Mix on a Friday night. I had been there before during the day and was curious about the nightlife. My husband went to the bar and he was gone for awhile. During that time the owner and two “friends” came up to me and made me feel very uncomfortable, I barely had enough room to move. My husband came back with drinks and we immediately set them down and left.

Jessie and Manny are amazing bartenders! They always bringing great energy to the bar. Their friendly and engaging personalities make every visit enjoyable. It’s become our go to spot because of the great vibes! Don’t miss out on their excellent service at The Mix!

We had a terrible experience at The Club Mix recently while celebrating a friends 50th birthday. We booked a VIP table, expecting a special experience, but it was not worth it at all. The atmosphere was chaotic and poorly managed, with overcrowding making it difficult to move around or enjoy the night.Additionally, the table service was awful; the staff were unprofessional and rude, and we had to wait excessively long for our orders. To top it off, the drinks were overpriced and watered down. I wouldnt recommend The Club Mix to anyone looking for a good time.

Every time I been to the Mix which I have been going for the last 8 years I had an amazing time! Things are not always perfect but the Staff is understanding and make sure to address any situation with respect and professionalism. They are always smiling, friendly and make you feel welcomed into the space. If you love to dance this is where it is at!

Decent spot, but we paid for a table and 2 bottles for an after wedding party, and they wanted to charge 2 members of our group a cover charge because they werent with us when we arrived. When they got there, they said our table was full. Really bothered me that we spent that much, and they made an issue about $30 to let some of our people in. Poor customer service.

The MixDowntown has always been a classy club with a rooftop lounge and great music and drinks. If you watch Vanderpump Rules, James Kennedy is legit in real life. His DJ skills were incredible and his showmanship is what got the crowd yearning for more. He is a must see. I’m so glad the MIX got him to perform in Sacramento. It’s been a while since I’ve been here and it never ceases to amaze me. Always an enjoyable time here at the MIX.

Every time that I’ve been out partying at the Mix it has been nothing but exceptional. Thanks to the professionalism and great care of the staff. I would give more than five star stars if I can. Big shout out to the Vip Host Ashley, who is wonderful on what she does.

Heidi and mike make things happen!!!! They made my birthday a beautiful experience and I’m absolutely coming back. I felt safe there, their bar was clean and security was everywhere. My husband & I came out to the Mix for a parents night out since having our 2nd baby 6 weeks ago. We had a blast with our friends & the Bottle service girls were super friendly! They made a customized sign for us that read “Niko’s parents wildin out” that was the Cherry for us! Thank you again! Can’t wait to be back soon!

Always great service! From initial inquiry about and throughout the process of celebrating my daughter’s 21st bday at the Mix, our host did a phenomenal job following up and making the process worry free. The event was a success - great music, drinks, service and memories! Would highly recommend reserving VIP for events.

Ive been to this venue numerous times and every single time they exceed my expectations. From the floor hosts to the wait staff and the bar staff and the security. They are gracious, understanding and super helpful. If you are looking to have a ladies night or friends night or just a great night I recommend the VIP. My favorite spot is out by the fire pit facing the mural of Johnny Cash, but theres also some luxurious spots inside and near the DJ booth. Its a great time every time.

TheMix is a great vibe! The crowd, to me, is for the more mature folks. I didn’t get any food so I gave it one star but the complimentary table was perfect! Staff was friendly and gorgeous! Music was a good mix of salsa and hip hop! Everyone was dressed to impress! I will definitely be returning soon!!

Usually our go to club when we want to dress nice and have a great time. Its a mix(ha) of indoor outdoor club. I prefer the mix over park ultra lounge.

Love it here ! One of the only clubs I frequently come to 🥳. It’s always vibe the DJs are always fire. The bartenders are so fast and make the best mixed drinks if you’re not a shot type of person. You can even get a couple great pictures from their amazing photographer Mykey! Overall I’ve been coming here for almost 6 years and it’s been a great club throughout that time !

It was a long short night i would say. After being very excited about going to this club and spending almost $800 on a booth it ended poorly. first our waiter was OK by she just poured our champagne bottle without asking we didnt get a chance to like make a toast or anything. It was like we asked her to pour the shots and then she just open the champagne bottle with it so that kind of irritated me then were having a very good time and my friend who happens to be a stud was put out for throwing up in the bathroom and she never threw up spoke to the bathroom attendant and she stated she didnt hear her throw bathroom she cleaned up throw up so it couldve been someone before we literally waited to drink and it was a party of 15 with one bottle of Don Julio and one glass of champagne whos throwing up off of that thats a literally a shot each. I spoke with the manager. He wasnt much help. They also cleared my booth and the whole entire party out and I had to talk to the manager like whats going on here and one of the bouncers had to put three people out of my booth who just thought it was a free area to sit based on how they just like, cleaned it up and made such as seen They were very few people that stayed after that situation. I think I was left out like five people 10 left and another person that was in the club. Also just left with my friend who was put out because she felt like they were targeting her because she was gay, and was dressed like a boy. It was just a mess. I didnt think I would have that particular experience from the people that were actually in the club not the club goers everyone was fine my friend who they put out, was like in the life of the party people were dancing with her and joking with her for the short time that she was there absolutely sweetheart she had a panic attack on the way home. It was totally just uncalled for. But outside of that situation the night was OK I stayed for maybe an hour and we ended up doing like a house party I wish we never paid for the booth. Dont get a booth just pay to get in because if your night isnt turn out well then at least youre not out $800. and it was my birthday go to the club, but do not spend any real money because you have no idea how your nights going to go.

-The bouncer in the photo discriminated me against my country of origin.-The blonde at the door changed my whole group cover even tho we are on the guest list. Had to argue my way to a refund.-Left my tab open at the bar and ended up with extra charges I didnt make.** A couple weeks ago I was at the mix with a different set of people and the bouncers again picked on my elderly friend for his inability to understand some basics.Go to Faces instead. This place sucks 👎

The service from our VIP host was awesome! She was friendly and very attentive. The music was good. Some areas for improvement, upon arriving we entered the Table Reservations line and were ignored by the bouncers as they tended to a group who were all completely out of dress code. Some of them had sweat pants, jeans, sneakers, one of the girls even had Adidas slides on. The person who walked us up to our table didn’t talk to us at all, and was also dressed down. Based on the dress code on the website I expected a higher end experience.

Came here for a graduation party and got the 20 person table near the bar on the rooftop terrace area. We probably had more people than that which spilled over into the rest of the patio area. Our hostess was excellent and very attentive, quick service. Fun, light-up signs with each bottle we ordered. DJ played a mix of current hits and throwbacks. Overall, would definitely return for another celebration night with a large party.

Ashley was super helpful when booking a table for bottle service for a girls night out. She was friendly, quick to respond and was able to answer all my questions. This is my second time booking a table at Mix and Ive had nothing but great experiences.

We spent New Year’s Eve at Mix at a VIP table. We worked with Heidi in advance to reserve and set up. She was great and process was smooth. She unsolicited followed up day of to make sure we were all set and had no questions. Night was also smooth and great service. We were taken care of as soon as we arrived and throughout night—even with the huge crowd. With large crowd and extra excitement, the staff managed the event well without issue from my perspective.

Mix was amazing… the vibe immaculate, the music superb. Don’t sleep on this Sacramento downtown gem. Such vibe can’t be matched with anything in the area. Forrest the GM made our night so memorable, so much so that I’d go back in a heartbeat. Traveling from San Diego I’d say this experience is top 5.

Reserving a booth at Mix nightclub, I contacted Heidi, a club promoter. She was very prompt in her reply and very accommodating. The host staff was friendly, attentive and went out of her way to make sure we were able to bring a cake in to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The atmosphere was excellent, not overcrowded and music was on point for our age group (2000’s). It was a safe environment (no fights) and a lot of security guards, all were professional and alert! Overall, perfect, safe, chill and laidback place to come to with great music, people and drinks! I recommend it and I will definitely be back!

I plan on having my birthday here so they offered me a table for a night to see how the atmosphere was. I gotta say I absolutely loved it! The music was great! The service was awesome I have yet To try their food but I gotta say I like this club a lot better then the ones that everyone usually goes to downtown.

I want to like this place , I just have a problem with the front security guard who’s always there (white , bald, short & stocky) who’s taking IDs from everyone. I was with a party of 3 other people and he took all of their IDs, let them in , at this point I already had taken mine out to give to him but when it came to my turn he just completely ignores me, closes the rope on me when he can CLEARLY see I’m with the three others that just walked in (like literally can’t even say Hello or make eye contact as if he’s so superior to me in some way ) turns to another group who got there after me and continues to let them all in while my party had to wait FIVE minutes for me to get in . As soon as I give this dude my ID . He acts like he couldn’t care less about his job still doesn’t even greet me or say anything that someone in customer service should be saying to Satisfy returning customers . Maybe pick better security guards who aren’t weak weirdos and picks on certain people because They feel like it . Other than that the Taller, black man who’s also security guard is the sweetest guy , I personally think he should be head security if he isn’t already. Please take into consideration when hiring these people who are supposed to be making Our local clubs a safe and protected environment. How am I supposed to feel safe when the person checking me in cannot do his job properly?? Next time I will have to get his name if he ends up pulling the same thing again so I can mention to the proper managers . 3/5 over all experience for last night, i danced, spent about $300 on drinks like I usually do but this just bugged me the entire night .

The entire team at Mix was outstanding. We couldnt have asked for anything more for our celebratory event. Heidi was absolutely fantastic when it came to getting our table reservation scheduled and then later adjusting the reservation. And then Nicole did a truly phenomenal job taking care of our group. On top of the service, the music was great. All told, it was an amazing evening. We will definitely be back.

(Very late review from 6/2022) Heidi is the best. She went above and beyond for me and my party of 8, not to mention she was very flexible as I did not know who would show up and not. The place was upscale and the vibe was great. We had so much fun. Thank you for a great experience the MIX.Went again and got bottle service 3/10/2023 for my sister’s 21st birthday. The lounge was upscale and older crowd. Bummers to my little sister. Lol. Vibe was cool. Although we got a bit too wasted and got kicked out. Totally understand and not cool of us. Overall, we had a good time while it lasted. Sorry and thanks!

The vibe was supper chill, which was expected for a Sunday. The atmosphere was inviting and welcoming. Having the rooftop and a dance floor and two bars was extremely nice. Would definitely do bottle service again in order to have seating and great prices on the bottles as well. Will be back again.

Reserving the table was easy and Heidi was quick to respond. The club had a nice outdoor atmosphere with reserved fire pits and comfy seating. Our hostess was quick and friendly. All staff was very friendly. The only suggestion I have is a rope barrier for the reserved tables because people were constantly trying to sit at our table and we felt like we were guarding our seats, drinks, and belongings the whole night. A problem we haven’t experienced quite as bad at other clubs.

My night out at the Mix was simply amazing.Josslyn was fantastic, going above and beyond to take care of my group, creating a 5 star, VIP experience for my guests and I. I couldn’t be more appreciative and can’t wait to go back!

Everytime I go to The Mix downtown I have the most amazing time. By far my most favorite place for music and drinks.

Never have I been so disrespected in a public establishment ever in my life. One moment I’m chillin, another I’m getting booted. The gentleman told me it’s time to go, I said it’s cool I’ll close out my tab. Then decided to put his hands on me to try to hurry me up although I already told him it’s fine and I’ll leave. Practice de escalation tactics next time. Maybe your security team and place of employment would have less unruly customers. Last thing you ever want to do is escalate something that doesn’t need to be.

It’s been a few years since my last visit. The Mix was always a go to spot for me and my friend group. We were always treated well and after our most recent visit I can say that hasn’t changed. The staff were all very friendly from the moment we got into the line for our VIP reservation to the moment we left. I especially enjoyed our section for the night beside the fire pit where we could enjoy the warmth of the flames (and alcohol) and the cool summer night breeze. All in all. Another fun night of memories thanks to the Mix.

We had a VIP booth at the Mix! The experience from requesting the booth online, to the seamless check in service at the door, to the immediate attentive VIP hostesses until we left was an amazing experience. I had a fantastic time celebrating my birthday here. Will definitely book here again for my next ladies night event.

Lindsay_VIP was a awesome hostess as always. All of the staff and promoters of this establishment are so professional and friendly. They keep you updated on your bottle service and table status until the date of your visit. If there is an issue with your bottle service, The Mix corrects it quickly and leaves you one happy customer. I have used other Nightclubs for my bottle services needs and none have not came close to the satisfaction I have received with the Mix Nightclub. I recommend The Mix to all my friends and anyone who is thinking about getting bottle service in the Sacramento area.

Love this place! The staff is awesome! I booked a VIP through Heidi and when my last minute friends wanted to go, she accommodated ALL of them, even got us a second booth! The servers a beautiful and friendly and attentive! We had an absolute ball celebrating my birthday here! Highly recommend!

My friends and I always have a great time here! They have fun music that we want to dance to. I like the vibe and that it’s welcoming to all ages. I love the rooftop patio and that the dance floor is adjacent to it. They also have really great food and drinks if you come before clubbing.

First, off I received a text the day of the party; I hope you and your party had a good night last night. Secondly, I was informed that we could get in at 9pm to decorate before the bachelorette/bachelor would be arriving at 930pm. That didn’t not happen and wasn’t able to get in to decorate until 930pm. Which we had delay the arrival of my sister and brother in law. Third, received multiple message regarding dress code and what was not allowed. When getting the club, guess the dress code was not enforced. Fourth, the table was disgusting; dirty glass, empty bottles left. Took over 30mins to get anyone to come over and get the bottle order. Then another 45 minutes to get refills for the chasers. Had to constantly chase down the waitresses. Lastly, one of the hosts made an absolute racist comment. I asked her if she was Heidi and she leaned back waved her hands up and down the sides of her body and said; do I look like a Heidi. She had black long hair. I said sorry what does a Heidi look like. I was disgusted and if it wasn’t for it being a special occasion I would’ve moved the party to another club.I would not recommend this club for a party. Unless your ok with the lack of service and attention to detail.

Had a booth for my 30th Birthday and it went swell. Contacted the business and they responded the next day for a review. Heidi was the one who setup my reservation. She was very professional and easy going. When my group got to the front door, we were escorted to my booth and Carla was our host who got us settled for the bottle service of choice. And our server took care of us very well by keeping our booth clean and replenished with juice mixer and clean glass. This is my second time going here and it’s always great experience.

My friends and I had an amazing time here Friday night! Staff were very professional and provided us with anything needed and checked on us regularly. Our booth was spacious and comfortable and the fire pit was so nice as things cooled down. The music and atmosphere were great and we had an incredible night. Will definitely be returning soon!

Had a great time celebrating my birthday at the mix. The table was great. The service was excellent and the dancing was awesome. Only thing that was uncomfortable was how hot it was. But it is an indoor/outdoor club. Controlling the temp may not be an easy task. Overall a good experience.

We had a booth booked this past Sunday and it went really smooth. All the hosts /security were very friendly and accommodating. The music was just our vibe also! Would definitely return. Love the atmosphere.

Incredible place!! Lets start with location, finding free parking is a lot easier than most of the other places. Once you get there, there is usually not a long line and you will get in pretty quickly (unless there is a very exceptional occasion like an important event or holiday which makes the entry line more crowded). They have a dress code and they also have a safety check to make sure no one has any weapons with them.Then you get to the front desk where you need to check in. You can enter for free if you have put your name in the guest list in advance (you can do that on their Instagram page) or you can pay cover fee which can vary but its somewhere between $15-20 depending on the night (prices are for 2022-2023). Dont forget to tip the people at front desk. They are hardworking and wonderful people. Then you can either use the elevator or the stairs to get to the rooftop where the party is going on.Now imagine its winter and you are wearing a thick warm overcoat but now thats a burden. You cant dance with an overcoat! Dont worry they have a nice big closet and there is someone who can take care of your jacket or overcoat while you are having a good time. It just costs something around $5.What I love about Mix is that it is well-designed. It has a nice open area (rooftop) with gas fire pits, heaters, and plenty of tables and seating spaces. In addition to that, it also has kind of a more inside space with a huge dance floor!! They have two separate bars with amazing bartenders that serve great cocktails and drinks! Once again, dont forget to tip! They are great people spending their weekends to serve you and your friends so you have a blast!Mix brings the best DJs in Sacramento area and they have a good mix of latin, hip hop, house, party music. The dance floor is usually popping especially after 11pm. So if you want to claim your space on the dance floor, get there before that.One thing that stands out is the people. It is indeed a Mix! You can find all different ages, ethnicities, people from different industries, etc. And everyone is welcome!The security staff are the best! They are very friendly but at the same time pay close attention and make sure to provide a safe space for you and your friends to have fun!Now imagine you had a couple drinks and you want to use the restroom, it has one of the fanciest and cleanest restrooms! You dont need to smell funny stuff or step on puke or urine, you enter the restroom and everything is very clean and nice!Overall, I would say that Mix is definitely one of the best places to dance, celebrate, or just reunite with friends and have a good conversation while sitting around fire pit on the rooftop and enjoying some delicious cocktails. Give it a try and you will not regret it!

Heidi reached out to me for a complimentary table/bottle service at Mix Downtown. I haven’t been in a while, since moving out of Sacramento to the Bay Area, but I still had a few friends I kept in contact with out there from going to Sac State for my Bachelors and Masters. I had a max of 6 in my party, and it was actually really fun. Before booking, I decided not to drink for personal reasons, but I still had a great time, and so did all of my guests!Our table was near the dance floor where we could watch everything going on and also be close to the outside portion, and bathroom. Our waitress and servers were really quite exceptional with the food and drink service, which was really nice, especially with the amount of small bites we purchased… which, I had no idea there was a food menu! My boyfriend also rang up a nice bill from the number of shots he purchased from everyone and even considered getting another mother bottle. From the amount he purchased, he probably could have!The DJ was decent too. By 1100 the genre of his music changed for the better, in my opinion - I’m a hip hop/rap/EDM fan, so I enjoyed the music. Overall, he had a little bit of everything for the diverse crowd that was on the dance floor, which is another thing I always appreciate seeing.Everything was really great - it brought a lot of great memories from coming here during my undergraduate years, but having a table made a huge difference in our overall experience. We were fed, comfortable, stimulated by our views, entertained by dancing, and of course, taken care of my our servers.Heidi - thank you so much for having me in mind. You were thorough in explaining everything I had questions on and even took a call from me to go over more details. I’m glad I was even a prospect in being called since I haven’t been there in so long. The service was smooth with no complaints. Please keep me in contact for future promotions. Who knows, if I need a venue for a future event in the Sacramento area, I will definitely keep Mix Downtown in mind.

We had a table with bottle service for my wife’s birthday. When we arrived the door guy, an Asian male did an extra thorough dress code check on my guest. He mistakenly thought my brother was wearing a hoodie when it was a sweater. Then one of my guest was wearing all black Jordan shoes which they said wasn’t allowed. Thankfully I begged him to let it slide. They are from Las Vegas visiting for the birthday. They eventually let my guest go in. Mind you we are all in our 40’s and 50’s owners of businesses and work in professional industries. A good experienced doorman should be able to make the distinction between professionals and thugs. I also let them know that another VIP guest was arriving shortly. Doorman said “no problem we’ll take care of them” so my guest arrived shortly after we went in. My guest Johnny Harper the father of hip hop female celebrity Saweetie who are from Sacramento. They refused to let him and his wife in because they were wearing matching Jordan shoes. My friend tried calling me but I didn’t get the call. Would have been nice if someone had come and got me since they knew who I was from my table reservations. We were all very disappointed. The table service was fine. The DJ was playing music all over the place. Then there was this wild acting group of people doing all kinds of obscene things in front of our table. Then there was this completely drunk ahole bumbling and stumbling all over the place, even bumping into us while we were dancing. I guest that’s ok because they were in “dress code”. It all ruined my wife’s birthday and she said she doesn’t ever want to go to Mixx again. We go to clubs and get bottle service all over the world and have never been treated in this way. I understand dress codes but you need to put experienced people at the door that know how to treat VIP guest. The one star is because the bottle service went fine. We received our bottles in good timing.

The mix downtown is a club and rooftop bar in Sacramento. They have a dress club and it’s one of nicer clubs I’m the area. Drinks are a good price and the dance floor is lively. A lot of attractive people and good dancers were there the last couple times I went. Definitely recommend especially when they have a guest DJ.

Heidi, my promoter did an excellent job.Everything went as told. No hidden fees or gimmicks. Excellent service, experience was great. 26th birthday celebration was a blast. Defiantly will be planning events again. Great job guys.

Getting bottle service at Mix downtown was a complete scam. They said a $325 minimum but then offer no bottles for that price so you have to end up buying multiple bottles to meet their minimum. When I complained to the manager for the misleading information he agreed for us to buy a bottle for $300 and capping it. When the bottle came it was already opened and completely watered down. As if we wouldn’t notice. Such a shady move!Then once our waitress poured the shots the shot glasses had holes in the bottom and started leaking all over our table. The liquid stayed there and was never cleaned up. It got all of our purses wet. Our waitress only came by twice to check in with us and once was because I requested it.Our booth was not roped off or enclosed so we had people stepping all over our coats, setting drinks down on our table and getting confrontational when we had to ask them to move. We asked for security several times before they addressed the situation. And their solution was a small rope that people were still able to get by easily. Completely not worth the money we spent.I had been going to this club for years. This was not the place I remembered. Mix used to have a standard of customer service and a quality environment. Obviously not the case anymore. Now it is clear it’s about making the money even if they have to sacrifice quality.

Great time with our friends. We love the age diversity at The Mix. 21-60 no one feels to old or young. The VIP booth service is a perfect 10.

Venue has an upscale feel, but still very inviting. Music is top-notch and drinks are good. VIP hosts are professional, attentive, and very accommodating. They know how to take care of their patrons. Would recommend.

I have went to The Mix 3 times and every time had a great experience. First time went with my brother and two friends all were dressed well , second time with my fiancé and third as a group celebrating best friends engagement. Pricey spent about $900 on bottle service, overall crowd is okay we prefer strict dress code venues because the crowd is usually more comfortable to be around. I understand the bad reviews on dress code but this place is a private business and will let in the people that are good for business. Recommended

Been going here since 2015, best place in town for a night out. Clean, good crowd, great music. The staff is the best part. Big shout out to the bottle service women, security, and the men in suits. They do a great job.

I had a great time but ended up losing my wallet mid way through. I realized this prior to closing hours. While I was mid thank you for the found wallet / which would have killed my new year / month. I tried to say thank you to an African American security guard. He said he didn’t want to hear my words and was ready to go home four minutes after curfew while rounding guests up to leave after final call. I was so turned off by hIs unprofessional demeanor and rushing a guest who was showing thanks for a job well done out. There were plenty of guests still there - if you can’t stand waiting to hear a genuine thank you after the club you should NOT work nightlife. I was so scared of what may go wrong. My identify, finances and everything were lost and soon after being relieved of a nightmare I had an employee treat me poorly and I love coming here, even brought my friend for the first time. It was discouraging to have her witness how I treated while trying to day a thank you. This employee was also caught insulting a group of Mexican men. If you don’t have. Community I don’t think you will appreciate the thanks some of us have to offer. My night went from an eight to an4 based off of customer service. Hire some better people to contribute to what you bring to Sacramento. No more politics. I good you and good get the murder his guys blessed

Last Saturday we celebrated our girlfriends bachelorette and we had a blast! The music was good and the vibe was grown and sexy!The bride was so happy with all the custom bachelorette signs they brought out for our VIP section. Definitely planning another girls night there!✨

I found crystals in my wine glass and the only people present in the establishment were employees. I got incredibly ill off maybe half a glass because once I noticed the crystals I stopped drinking and left the bar. I reported to the owner or manager that I got sick from wine served at his bar and he said he wouldn’t know anything about his employees or the wine served at his establishment. I would go elsewhere if you want a safe experience! This business clearly “doesn’t know” what’s going on!

We were greeted by a VIP host and the service was on point. My girlfriends and i enjoyed the DJ and we danced non stop. VIP is the way to go. I havent been to the MIX since the pandemic it was nice to be back on the scene.

Have been to the Mix many times. It is the best place to go in Sacramento. Recently went on a Thursday for Happy Hour. We had such a great time. Loved it so much we went back the next night for Happy Hearts Day. I always have fun when I go on Saturdays but hadnt been on a Friday. Had an amazing time! The service was excellent starting from the door guys to the bartenders all the way up to management. The food is delicious and menu offers healthy and light options. The music was perfect; good variety for a wide age range to enjoy. The decor is elegant but still cozy during HH and fun and exciting during club hours. I will def be returning to the Mix.

I would leave a 5 star because everything was great once I was in. I didn’t appreciate the bouncers asking for my ID to then leave me with my hand sticking out holding it while they said hello to their friends that were trying to get in and making me bounce over the rope to get in for my birthday…. But the bottle girls were great!

Went on a Wednesday night with some girlfriends hoping to have some fun. The bartenders were pushy and intimidating. As a woman I want to feel comfortable to ask them specifically about any drinks and whats in them. I was told not to worry about that and just enjoy. Music was just ok but the overwhelming smell in the place was disgusting. Both inside and outside smelt like the bathrooms and old garbage. We paid for a booth to get our own space only to fine garbage and sticky residue all over the seats. It looked like the booth had never been cleaned. Needless to say the night was a total bust. I wont be going to the mix ever again, and to the women that do please be careful and always be safe.

Great experience overall. We had a group of mixed ages and interests, smokers and non-smokers, and everyone was accommodated easily. We loved the atmosphere, the cleanliness and of course the people!

I lost my wallet with 300 dls when I called they told me that if I was there they asked me what I had inside? I said I had $300 and they said if its here. When I passed by her, they told me right now the manager is coming. I waited for 40 minutes and never showed my face. I gave myself the wallet another person and I didnt have the money and the person told me that he didnt know anything about it. This is very bad then as you are sure that your entire wallet will be delivered to you. Make sure your things is not a place to trust.

It wasnt bad, but not the greatest.PROS:Music was eclectic, truly a mix and it was fun.Ambiance was cool, the outdoor firepits and VIP sections looked great.We got in for free since the hotel gave us free entrance cards.Womens bathroom was clean and attended to by a nice lady. Slight Con: only 4 stalls.CONS:It was so packed, you could barely move. Honestly, didnt seem safe. A few bouncers were a little abrupt in telling us to move out of the way since we were blocking the walkway, but it felt like we just had to keep going and wedge ourselves somewhere.There was no AC where the most people were, which was the dance floor. If there was it was weak.Its on the second floor, up a lot of stairs, which I dont understand why clubs continue to do this to very drunk people, some of which are in heels. Obviously not something they can change or improve, but just be warned.Facts:Not sure if thus fluctuates, but VIP booths, we were told were $400. For a bottle of booze and the right to sit.

Music was kind of anticlimactic for dancing, maybe its not my style. There was a variety of people there, respectful in general. The ambience was very cool but I cant say anything about drinks. Its an ok place to dance if you like the style, and since youre not actually paying for it.

Will let you stand in line over an hour just for show. Tip : if you do not have a connection, VIP card , or purchase table service don’t waste your time. Never seen such a disrespectful entry set up in my life of partying around the country nor in the world. Then the lies: we are at capacity but will let 5 people go in right in front of your face without anyone coming out.. They should just put a sign on the door stating they let who they want in. Spend your time and money elsewhere.

One of the staff stole my credit card here last night 11/13/21. I had a tab open and forgot about it until I got home. They charged my card so I know they have it. I went there tonight and the manager checked the safe and it wasn’t there. He suggested that I “come back another time and maybe it’ll be here”. I assume that really means the card will “find a way back into the safe.” When I asked him directly he said there was nothing he could do and that I should leave. Asked to speak with someone in charge but he refused to come out. So either someone wandered back behind the bar to steal my card or one of the staff walked off with it. Which is more likely? Clearly manager is covering for someone. Very sketchy.

I love the Mixx however I was bummed because your bathroom attendant did not seem very happy with her job and also had my daughter whom we were celebrating her birthday kicked out because she was taking long in the restroom.

My husband and I met with a group of friends after work fir birthday celebrations. Loved the comfortable outdoor seating, nice variety of wines and well-drinks . Really loved the brandy chicken wings and shrimp rolls. Delicious food with wonderful friends made a great evening. Will definitely go there again. #MiX #buzzybooth

When a booth is comped it would be nice to know before arrival that there are no choices in bottles. I have celiac disease and cannot drink Ketel. We got there and were told that was all our choice was so it was not drink or buy a different bottle/individual drinks. Really frustrating to be put in that position unknowingly especially with a health restriction.

Heidi was my point of contact and was so helpful in answering all my questions. Bailey was our server. She is such a sweetheart and very attentive to our group. The Mix is always a great time!

I had an amazing VIP experience. I reached out via the website kinda late one evening got a response very quickly. I arrived with my party on a Friday night on time and got in with no issues. The service was great and they answered all of my questions. I’ll definitely be returning for their VIP treatment.

Great outside patio area. Im a state worker, and this is a good spot to unwind and have a happy hour cocktail. Bouncers are a bit toolish, but what lounge doesnt have that? As far as the racist comments, I am multi cultural and I have never experienced or seen anything of such nature. Its simple, follow the dress code and you will have no problems!

Mikey the bartender was very professional and personable. Out of town from Tahoe and he treated my brother and I with 5 star service. Being in the fine dining and bartending business for over 21 years this guy is what makes places special and worth returning. Definitely would recommend the happy hour and the atmosphere if your down down Sac. Great house beats too.

This was a great spot to host my dearest friend’s bachelorette. Woah they didn’t bring the bottle out so early but other than that, the atmosphere was poppin.

This was such a cool bar with decent priced drinks! My friend and I arrived around 10:30 and there was a line and 12 guys in front of us (self named the roadblock haha) took 20 mins but then we got inside. Great drinks and music. Bartenders worked fast and got to everyone within mins. Cant wait to go back!

Great night with a small group of friends for my 40th. Brought up on an elevator with my party and a host, escorted to my table. Bottle service was reasonably priced, great vibe. I hated the fire pit on a July summer night, waaaay too hot for that. Otherwise great night.

As long as you go before about 7:00-8:00 there should not be any issues. After that they start enforcing the bogus dress code which as other reviewers mentioned, does not apply to everybody. But hey, at least they do not turn you away for tattoos like Dive Bar does! They have good drinks & food.

Pros: Great Ambiance, Great Service- servers remember your name, Great mix of ages, and types of people. A High class place. Food was great. Most people were nice and having fun.Cons: Lots of macho security men with little ear pieces walking around gave a bad vibe. Drinks are expensive and poured with little alcohol. A little attitude going around.

The worst club in Sacramento. I do not recommend parties to go, especially for booths. I have gone multiple times showed up at 9:30-10 and the customer service is the worse from bottle service to the front door. The employees are very disrespectful to guest and to the ones who are paying for the booths. Waste of money if you are trying to have a good night. Also they referred me to a club down the street multiple times which was better than the few times I have attended this club.

Hip hop music disco club with open air section

I came from Florida on vacation and this was the worst experience I have ever had in a night club. My Fiance reserved a booth for our group a whole week in advance and when we got there we ordered more bottles.Our total tab was over $1300.00 and the bottle waitress had the nerve to tell my fiance and his friends to tuck their chains inside their shirts. This was total discrimination because they were big black men that had nice jewelry. They also put Police officers to stand right next to our booth to watch us. My group was not loud or obnoxious everyone carried themselves with class but due to the color of our skin our money was not good there.I never knew nice chains were offensive or bothering anyone but I guess when you are BLACK at MIX it is. HORRIBLE experience never will go again.

I love a good outdoor spot for drinks with friends, and Mix with its second-story location and largely open-air rooftop space has outdoor spot for drinks nailed. Love the relaxed vibe and small plates during happy hour. Its a really mixed crowd during happy hour, too--Capitol staffers, downtown and midtown residents, the after-work crowd. One of my favorites downtown.

My husband and I are both professionals in our 40s and were also an interracial couple. We were invited to the mix for a big birthday party Saturday night with about 8 other couples. I can without a doubt tell you old fashioned racial profiling is alive and well at the mix. Our large party starts being let in at 9:30pm although our reservation was for 8pm, but that’s another story. So were all filing in and my husband is stopped in his tracks and told his camel colored suede boots are not “dress code” and that he cannot come in, I of course asked what there dress code was and they say “business casual”. My husband actually left to drive home and change shoes, while this was all happening the hostess was speaking with the manager about making an exception which he finally agreed to do. However, while I waited for my husband’s return I began to notice how other guests were dressed. First I noticed a sloppily dressed white gentleman in faded jeans, faded T-shirt wearing tan loafers? I then noticed a very cute young blonde dressed in basically a men’s wife beater, faded jeans and white converses? I asked her how she got in and with a big wink told me it’s all about who you know. There are so many places to pick from when you go out and want to have a good time and spend some money and unfortunately the mix is NOT one of them.

This used to be the go to club in Sacramento, however the bouncers at the front door lack professionalism and are often rude. We booked a booth for Saturday night. When we went to the entrance of the club, the Doorman ignored us for several minutes before asking us what we wanted. Once we informed him that we had booked a both his tone changed but the damage was already done. The management there should be changed. They dont have a clue on how to treat patrons.

Every night is different. Wednesday nights are a little older crowd, surprisingly. Friday nights are hit or miss. There are people who frequent Mix a lot. So youll see familiar faces even when you take an extended break from Mix. I enjoy Mix because its the only dance club I still feel comfortable at in my 40s.

They berly put any Alcohol in drinks on club days.I understand its a business but paying $12 for a soda with berly any alcohol is crazy.

This place use to be a very nice place to be, but Yes I have to agree with everyone who says this place is Racist. I cant say all the workers r but most of them are at the front door, and whom ever tells the DJ what to play.Example Front door: Told my friend he could not get in with his dress boots. Thankfully he lived on 15min away but I was left waiting for him inside the club while watching MANY Whites, and Asians walked around with Tennis Shoes, Chuck Taylors, and Boots which were not near as dressy.Example DJ: Will not play any Hip-Hop or R&B until the night is basically over. Mainly High Energy and Techno until after midnight. Ive asked on 3 different nights and have gotten the same answer every time. I will play hip-hop later....I gave it 2 Stars because again NOT everyone of them are racist. The ones who are not are VERY cool genuine people.

I thoroughly enjoy coming here to dance. Every time has been fun music to dance to with a good DJ who knows how to mix. The weekend starts on Thursday downtown so the clubs really start going Thursday through Saturday. Avoid Wednesday nights as that seems to be when all the douches come out to dance. Come early for happy hour and enjoy Taco Tuesdays or all night happy hour on Thursdays.

Was deliberately overcharged by bartender when ordering a single beer closed tab. She put other patrons drinks on my bill. Politely pointed out the mistake on the spot and was assured sorry, charge will be reversed on your CC statement in a day or two. That never happened. Had to take up issue with CC company. Take your hard-earned $ elsewhere.

I’ll keep it simple... if you’re a guy and you’re not wearing a button up, jeans, and a pair of Clark’s they probably won’t let you in. To be honest my girl and I were wearing very clean subtle Nike sneakers and were denied access.... meanwhile I saw other groups walk on by with converse, vans, etc. Hard to believe the rejection is simply based off shoe code. If so, it’s stupid and needs to change. Suppression of expression is real.

They asked us for a tip “A good tip” to get in because my friend had shoes they did not like”Only today they did not like them”. He wanted a $50 🤣. Anyways, not a second went by, he let in people I would not let in my restaurant. Currupted business!!!

I ran in to friend of mine from work who had table service for him and his friends so as a co worker and a good friend I got them a bottle of Hennessey and gave my card to waiter with specific instruction one bottle and it was $ 300.00 that was quoted by waiter including everything. 45 minutes pass and I am like may I please have my card back because we were leaving and answer was sure waited anther 30 minutes and girl brings check and card back to find that I was charged $ 974.26 by Alyssa so I am right away why am I getting charge this amount and her answer was thats what you ordered so I had waiter confirm with Alyssa that I order only one bottle and was $ 300.00. After arguing back and forth I ask for manager and waited for 30 min and no one came so I ask security for manager and he dispatch through his audio com and waited 45 min. but no manager so I called American Express and explained everything what happen. I did not sign my tab and left for the night comes next few days I called and called for manager but no respond so in the end this people are doing this to lots of people the same way ripping people off. I left message again today morning also but no answers or respond from manage.

This freaking place; where do I begin. Everyone and their mother raves about how this is the most happening spot in midtown but under the same breath complains about 1) the long lines 2) the tools/basics 3) the expensive cover. I personally am not fond of this place, but you have to try it once. Its like a right of passage here. If you want to skip cover charges, just have an early dinner and stay till the floor opens up. I do not recommend suggesting that to a date though, since youll look cheap. I also dont suggest bringing a date here, because theres a high risk of them leaving with someone else

Only complaint is they spelled my name wrong on the sign when the bottle girls came out. Everything else went fine. Good time, staff was prompt, venue was great, will come again.

I got a table, paid $300 for a bottle of alcohol. I drank a sip and went dancing, came back but the bottle was empty. I asked the waitress why they dont watch the tables since i paid so much, she said that they dont watch tables. Not woth getting a table cuz its not being watched. I called the manager saturday, today is monday, no phone call from the manager. This club doesn’t care about their clients.

We were in line for two hours. The bouncers told us that they would let people in once people left (“one in one out”). They didn’t let people in from the waiting line, only from the “bottle service line”. Keep in mind there wasn’t a guest list. When a group of people would leave they would let groups of girls in or their personal friends. It was the biggest waste of time. They even tried to tell people to go to the park and gave out “free entry tickets”. Never going to this place again.

If I could give zero stars I would! We went to the mix to celebrate my sisters 21st birthday. She got a booth and was already there by the time we arrived. The bouncers were giving me a hard time saying that my ID was fake and showing the other bouncers to try and get them to agree that it was fake it wasnt until they saw that my husband knew one of the workers that they finally let me in. MF as*holes. A couple of weeks later, I saw on fb that the same bouncers got in trouble for being racist. hmmm.... coincidence? think not. anyone I know that ask about a club to go to, I make sure I give them my personal experience. It wasnt even all that inside either. It came off as a wannabe vegas vibe without the class.

Great looking spot to go out for the night and good drinks and service at the bar, but I don’t believe it’s right for security at the place to come up to my friend and I at the bar and say, “can I see your ID” to my guy friend and without even saying a reason why he needs it. Mind you my friend gives his ID to them and just minding his business calmly waiting talking to me, they instantly then push him to the ground after viewing his ID and three men get on top of him and wrestle him down, then I asked them what is the reason why they are doing this and they were ‘accusing him of touching a girls butt that work there’. They walked him out with his hands on his head and with there arms locked in his arms. Him and I both left the building and I just don’t believe it’s right how they approached him, they could have been like “hey the girl that works here said he touched her ass” and just tell us we need to leave and we would have left. I can tell by the way the Bouncer approached us that he was acting like a hotshot.Most bars and clubs I have been to , I witness security to just ask you to leave the first time and tell you why you need to without being that aggressive like these security did that night.My stand here is that the security could have approached it differently because it was unnecessary the way they approached it.

Place is garbage like everyone else has stated. If you are reading this prior to going there are many other clubs downtown. Go to any other of them. The door tools with pick and choose who can and who can not come in as has been stated by other reviewers. Crowd is sub-par at best. Music is okay. The VIP tables are just set in between everything or off in the corners. Waste of time and money. Go Somewhere else.!!!

Very different feel and set up from other clubs I’ve visited in Sacramento. The mix was more open as far as space and still a diverse group of people. Just be prepared to pay more for your drinks.

After paying for a night of bottle service I couldnt use a restroom and was forced to leave. Not a good way to treat customers. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was disrespectful in my book. *edit to clarify* they close the restrooms exactly at 130. Waiting for the hostess to close the bottle service tab I missed my window to use their restroom apparently.

Had an awesome night out. Great customer service from staff at the door to our mega hostess. Definitely coming back for more Sunday Fun nights

The mix was such a vibe! Great music, great drinks, great crowd, staff was very professional and the ambiance was everything!!! Will definitely be returning!

Do not go. The Mix is full of sleazy older people trying to relive the good life.Wait staff is unprofessional and the capricious nature of thier dress code and admittance policy are legendary.Attend if you want. Not going back.

This is a not a night club use to be. I️ booked booth and work with Mason and Matt the manager and due to poor communicationThey giving us outside booth which is. Dry cold and embraces me in front my guest. I’m susscrsfull business owner that wants nothing for free and willing to pay. Just poor management team.

The vibe is upscale and you can tell it’s a boujee crowd but we always have a great time with my bf. The bartenders are always attentive and have great customer service.

Booked a booth for my birthday celebration on 01/22. The price was $350 for a Saturday night. First impressions are everything...my group and I headed towards the Bottle Service line, which was not long at all. As we waited in line, we saw two different groups walk up to the security and allowed to bypass the line of the folks already standing in there. We asked security what was up with that bc we too had a reservation for Bottle Service as the two previous groups claimed. The securitys reply was that they paid an extra $200 not to wait in line and if we were to slip them the same, we too could bypass waiting in line. Yeah, no thanks. So we ended up waiting about 20 mins after the first guy confirmed we were on the Bottle Service reservation list. I think he forgot about us. After we reminded them that we were waiting again, someone else took us to our booth. The waitress introduces herself and shares the Bottle Service menu with us. After reviewing, we learned that most of the selections were priced below the $350 minimum required for the resevation. No problem, we asked for a bottle that was $275 and to just charge me the difference - the whole $350. It was then that we were told that was not an option and that we would have to make up the difference by purchasing a second bottle. This was news to us bc on their website, it clearly states that the party is responsible to make up the difference if short. We asked to speak to a manager (Zach) who confirmed the same. So we ended up with no other option other than to go home or order two bottles and spending more than we initially anticipated. A couple days later I reached out to express my concerns and received a callback from the GM Nicholas Parker. Mr Parker heard my grievenaces, apologized and extended a compliementary bottle service as a way to make up for the less than satisfactory experience. He gave me his personal number and told me to let him know when I wasnt to come back and give them a second chance. Great! Just a couple days ago I did just that...only for Mr. Parker to rescind his previous offer bc he did not like the verbiage I used when trying to remind him of who I was. I told him I was the lady who was scammed into buying two bottles despite what is clearly conveyed on their website. His tune completely changed and he referred to me as being combative on two occasions. You would think if I were combative on the night of the visit, he would have never invited me back. If was clear that he took issue with the words I chose to describe how I felt. Today he reaches out to explain that they will not be following through with their previous promise bc they would not want me to feel scammed again - but said I was welcome to come back to pay. If I felt scammed to begin with, why would I extend the opportunity for more of the same? Needless to say, I will not be going back here.

The BIGGEST Racist club you will ever go to ..... They will find every fault not to let you in because your black !!!! ... They turning back blacks for the least even sneakers while white people up in the club in shorts and trainers lol .... that is just one of the excuses for not letting black people in the club. Read several reviews posted about this place after attempting to go; saying its racist....Im half of an interracial cpl that tried going exactly at midnight on Thursday 03/21/19 the door man wouldnt let us in claiming they dont let anyone in after last call....last call? At midnight? WTH? We turned to walk away looked back as we were going into the pizza joint next door and door man let a white cpl enter??? Yeah Im thinking racist!

DO NOT GO TO THE MIX!! This is quite possibly the most RACIST establishment in the city (club bar or any kind of that matter) the undefined dress code is the loosely veiled diversion used to keep minorities out black and Hispanic particularly . I watched a group of several white men enter the club with large boot cut jeans and cowboy boots, before being turned away.. I a fitted sweater Ralph Lauren straight cut jeans and a pair of ferragamo dress shoes. This was apparently not compliant with the dress code as the bottoms of the pants were quote to wide at the ankle, and shouldnt cover the back of my shoes WHAT!!! To add insult to injury two more white men with tattered t-shirts and baggy carpenter jeans while I am discussing this dress code infraction with the bouncer. When asked if the ankle of there pants being 5 times the size of mine, another bouncer who I wasnt speaking with said they paid for a table. Then when I said I can pay for a table which I had planned to do, (but obviously at that point I was no longer going to do) They responded with there sold out. Side note the guys with the large pants join the conversation and questioned why couldnt I be let in. I have friends of all ethnicities and religious backgrounds, regardless of where your ancestors are from right is right wrong is wrong.

If you like a pretentious night out surrounded by fake plastic trees, this place is for you. After attending their top 40 club event, I realized that Thanos was on to something.

If this was the last place to club on earth i would not club. The music is censored for some reason. The bouncers are racist. Speaking good English puts them in their place. I never returned here after they showed their true color.

Have never been but Im blown away by the comments that have been posted on here. I really hope the management team looks at these because this is HORRIBLE for business. Its not going to be easy but they better turn this place around or you are going to go out of business. By the looks of theses posts it doesnt appear to be a concern. Good luck

Had a great time celebrating a birthday! Good music and love the large open air rooftop patio with fire pits.

Great harpy hour, although the waitress messed up our check. Love the outdoor patio, and the food was good. The dragonberry mojito is so refreshing

This place is becoming trash. There are a few people that have no class that work here that are at the door. Been coming here for years but recently got into it with some staff over an incident that was handled unprofessionally and the staff handled it very poorly. clean up your staff and take care of your regulars.

We love sitting outside near the bar. At the early beginning of the party. When it is calm and quiet. They finally started to make Aperol Spritz

Atmosphere was great. We reserved a booth they got us in quickly and service was good as well.

Our bottle service girl was super attentive sweet outgoing making sure everything met our expectations

So after reading these posts. I would have to agree with everyone else BLACK MALES are not welcome at this night club. Kevin Johnson should shut it down before he is out of office I never write any posts or bad reviews but this club here wow racist as hell. Dont go here save your money

We had a great night and the VIP section is amazing. Highly recommend it for a night out with friends
