Just was delivered a Michigan hotdog that had a moldy bun and half cooked hotdog. No response from their delivery service or Nellie’s.

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive service. Great music playing, sports on TV, and comfortable clean environment. Enjoyed everything very much and will definitely return again if I visit the area again. Well done, and thank you for such a great experience!

Loved this place! Such a chill locals bar with extremely friendly personable staff. We had quick service, delicious margarita flight- great selection of flavor options (Fiery Rooster Spicy Sriracha Marg was 🔥👌). To eat: juicy crunchy pickle fries, an AMAZING montreal smoked meat sandwich, and a huge juicy burger & fries! Such great value on everything. Our server Olga was the highlight of the night- such a bubbly green haired goddess who was on top of our every need. The back room had a live band which added to the great vibes. Can’t wait to come back! 💚

Good but not great food. That said it had a nice atmosphere and I did enjoy my meal quite a lot. Service was a little on the slow side, but that was because it was reasonably busy with insufficient servers for the volume of customers. The server was excellent and attentive when they had a free moment.

This is my girlfriend and Is new favorite spot. We were in town and it was lunch time so we decided to stop in.We were a little bummed that deep fried avocado slices were no longer on the menu but we got the Tres Amigos with extra guac and queso instead. The guac is soooo good!We also tried the smothered burritos with white sauce (queso/cheese); my girlfriend got the Saint Albans one and I got the Alburgher. Both were delicious and quite filling we needed to go boxes for them.Side note: most of this stuff is not spicy though so if you are looking for that kick you wont find it here. They are definitely Americanized/not spicy. We were okay with that though because we think too much pepper is spicy. Lol

We have tried the burritos, burgers and all of their varieties of fries. Everything was phenomenal. My only regret is waiting as long as we did to try the food here.

This was a great place. I got a Guinness and the fry sampler platter which was huge and really delicious. Our group sat at the front of the restaurant which seemed a cozy pub atmosphere. I was told there was a stage in the back for live music so I thought that was cool.

Great casual restaurant and pub directly off if the main street in city center of Saint Albans. Great draft beer list and variety of food options. All their daily specials looked great, I had the PEI mussels in garlic white wine sauce which was very good. The son devoured the half rack of baby back ribs which came with very flavorful Mac & Cheese (which had extra surprise of bacon it it). Their Buffalo and garlic parmesan wings were very good as well.

In had a great visit. Many reviews seem to focus on the food. I tend to pay more attention to the ambiance. Nelly’s is the best neighborhood bar I’ve been to. Lots of patrons. Many seem to know each other, leading to lively banter at the bar.I had so much fun soaking it all in, I stayed for an extra Bud!Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. It was generous in size and tasted great.Highly recommended!

I loved the food, loved the setup and loved the staff! I love how relaxed and peaceful it was. With the dim lights and comfortable atmosphere I enjoyed my first date night in a while. Only thing I wish was that they were open earlier so I could go more!!!

My wife and I decided to go to Nellys Pub & Grill on February 14th, 2024, aka Valetines Day!! Its not very welcoming because the employees in FOH position seemed to be busy chatting up BOH employees a cook in this case, but we had fun on our own. Its pretty bad when me as a customer is calling over to Drakes to order food for pick up.

I suggest Nellys as a bar only. They have great tap beer, interesting cocktail list and lively staff. The food however is mainly average bar food and subpar mexican. Had the most dissapointing burrito bowl today. A thin layer of crunchy rice, dry tough brisket and then gobs of cheese, and other toppings being 70% of the bowl. I added guac which as we all know costs extra but got a relatively small amount and its premade guac consistency. My partners ask for a burrito with lettuce, pico and fresh jalapenos and got a burrito with lots of cheese, lettuce, no pico and pickled jalapenos as well as fresh?? If you want Mexican go to someplace in Burlington. If you want a beer go to Nellys!

Stopped in for lunch. Great friendly service, very clean. Excellent burgers and great beer selection! Traveling from Canada back to our home in Missouri; if we lived in the area we’d definitely be regulars.

The food is excellent, always our choice for mexican cuisine. Staff is friendly and attentive. We would prefer a restaurant atmosphere over a pub because of the noise level, but you can carry on a conversation without problem. Well definitely go back.

Nelly’s pub and Grill is a comfortable spot for pub style food. I had brisket poutine which they were very willing to accommodate my special order for —no gravy and barbecue sauce instead. The barbecue sauce by the way was amazing! My husband had shepherds pie, which, despite lacking peas was very tasty, and a friend had the ribs which fell off the bone. All in all the food was quite delicious. Service was friendly, but a little bit rushed and not 100% attentive. The place is a little noisy but one might expect that in a pub!!

Nellys is one of our favorite places to eat at in ST. albans. We went the other day ( a group of teachers out for the summer)…the service was excellent, the food was hot and delicious. Nelly’s nachos are the best nachos around…I won’t even order Nachos any where else now. The server/bartender was busting his butt with two large parties and a ton of customers. I highly recommend this place! I have NEVER had a bad meal here ever!!!!!!

The food here is exceptional, especially the pulled pork items. The staff is friendly, and the service is great. Very relaxing and soothing atmosphere. All the styles of poutine are delicious.

Nellys is goated for serving us food just before they closed the kitchen at 10 pm. Every other restaurant has denied us food, closing the kitchen one hour earlier before their closing time which is ridiculous. After a long day of work late night, it feels good to have some place to eat. I definitely to eat out and drink at Nellys. Very calm ambience and a great place to chat

Starters were yummy, main entrees mediocre. 3 of us came on (not realizing) trivia night, and there were some extremely obnoxious customers, seemingly overserved or, just plain obnoxious. Considering how open and small the space is, it was extremely disruptive and really made the vibe distasteful. Better suited behavior for a bar on a late weekend night but not a Monday or Tuesday evening.

Have you ever travelled with unadventerous picky eaters? You know those that are scared of chicken or those that are scared of spices. Well, this little pub has just enough of everything to satisfy even the pickiest/pain in the @ss eaters. Friends of mine just moved to St Albans and are in walking distance of this hidden treasure. I had their fish and chips, which they upgraded to Fish & Pulled Pork Poutine. The margarita no salt was wonderous after a busy day of moving boxes, furniture and driving back to Plattapusburgh. This place is awesome, please dont let the hipsters ruin it. Wonder if they had hard apple cider. Awesome place, chairs arent super comfy but everything else they do is just right.

I had issues with this place in the past but some of those lines were blurred between owners and various staff to the point where I cant say where specifically my problems even were at this point. The current owners have been very professional even with my numerous complaints over the years. Most importantly however nobody even comes close to the wings these guys make within 30 miles of here with possibly 1 exception being Bayside. The wings are my jam but everything there is worth while.

Uhggg Im so disappointed! We usually love Nellys and treat ourselves when we can. I ordered today, opened up our food and there was hair on top of the food and as I looked, in it. I called just to let them know, they took my information, said Id get a call right back. Never heard back, I tried calling again and my call wouldnt go through. We dont eat out often and I was excited to treat myself, just to not be able to eat it.

This review is based on the Kingman street fest. They were exclusive to alcohol sales and really dropped the ball. The lines were crazy long and zigzagged thru a lot of the concert area. Understaffed and not very well throughout. Beer was cold and was allowed two drinks per person so that’s why I gave 4 stars.

Great bar atmosphere, servers here are excellent. Food comes out very timely. Great place to spend your Saturday

Service was friendly, fast and efficient. Food was excellent 👌 and drinks were on point.

The macroni and cheese was missing the cheese and it was supposed to have pulled pork on it but they ran out of pulled pork so used pulled chicken instead, there was no flavor to it. I went there with friends for a holiday cheer. I think we were all disappointed.

Went there to have a couple drinks and order food. The bar tender was very rude. We waited 15 minutes and he never asked what we wanted or anything. After that we left not happy customers 😡 we will not be going back there again.

Beyond disgusted with the bartenders(manager) at this establishment. She claimed my ID was fake and refused to serve me, would not verify my ID and then ruined my ID by bending it in half forcing me to get another one. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good food, close free parking garage & street parking. We were there for lunch; slow to serve, clean place. I will sure go again. Likely try to catch the live music next time.

Was in town just for the weekend, googled places to eat looked good, it had one name online, another on google maps, and another when we got there which made it VERY confusing to find. I ordered a strawberry margarita and it didn’t taste good, we got chips and queso which was okay, I ordered a chicken burrito bowl, I love cheese don’t get me wrong but I think they put a whole bag, chicken was very watery, didn’t eat much and didn’t take it home.

Went here for the first time, and was a great choice for date night. Drinks were great and food was even better! Portion size was perfect as we opted to order their durty 30, where we got an appetizer and two meals for $30. It was great and staff was friendly and welcoming.

I tried this place for the first time and despite the great reviews, our food was really sub-par. We got BBQ pulled pork poutine which was soaked in bbq sauce and didnt taste like anything else. Way too much bbq sauce for the serving size. A taco salad which had almost no lettuce (barely a salad) and was quite small for the price. and a chicken bacon sandwich which was 80% bread (a skimpy piece of chicken, tomato slice, and lettuce leaf). Based on the reviews and menu, I was expecting something very satisfying, but it was more like cheap diner food w/ too high of a price tag.Based on the other reviews, I am confused and wondering if they were short staffed or something.I never leave reviews but I feel like this one had to be written.Sorry owners, but it was a very disappointing meal

Food was excellent but service was slow and the particular waitstaff that we have had while in there was not friendly, didnt know the menu options nor would they ask to find out the answer to any questions we had about the menu and received an um Im not really sure for an answer. Other than that atmosphere was great, clean, good layout of tables and booths. Will definitely go back!!

We ordered ginger ail and it was gross..okay just get sprit. Ordered corn chowder get broccoli cheddar, um what not what I ordered. Then I got my meal there was no taste, and it had veggies all in it and still no taste. The cheese on top of my Sheppard pie was so hard that I could not cut through it and it all came off at once. We had 3 different waitresses and still waited for ever to get help. Sorry but the three strike rule works for more than just baseball.

Excellent place to hangout with friends from work, the staff are always kickass! Foods always hot and crunchy, I love the onion rings and poutine fries theyre among the best in this area!

The place was ok, the service was nice but kind of slow. The food was nothing special, and the bar ran out of certain beers. It was a little pricey for the lack of effort of did qualityI asked for a med rare burger it came to be as med well done. I my or my not go back, but it is worth trying Durty Nellys at least once.

Wait staff was nice the food was average maybe a little bit better but they had just lost their chef and they really didnt have any professionals in the kitchen. I guess given the situation they did okay I know it can be better.

Been doing takeout from Nellys. Very streamed line, online ordering. Their poutines are amazing (I personally love their shaved steak and onions poutine). Looking forward to going back in person.

-Having been away from St.Albans for almost 20 years, I use to frequent this place when it was The Rave or Karib but now being back in Franklin Co. I visited Duirty Nellys and it is many notches above what it use to be. With different owners and a different name, great food, great staff and a great bar... Duirty Nellys is where its at!

Had the fish, very buttery, light, solid meal. One of the places I recommend to people when they’re coming to st albans and the surrounding area

Rude and terrible service for take out. Food was mediocre and cold because they had forgotten part of our order and no apology was offered.

We live above the dam place it would be nice if once the bar closed they would not stay open after hours and play the music till 6 am!! Its bad enough it hear it till 2 or 3! We knew that was par for living above a bar but dam they could have a little courtesy! Was gonna put 0 stars but it wont let me post unless i at least give one... Go figure

I really like Nellys. I have been there several times and the food and waitstaff have always be spot on. I would given a 5 star review but after going to Nellys last night to celebrate St. Patricks Day and having to wait at the bar on the night club side to only be ignored by the bartender and being forced to go to the pub side to get a drink I was less than impressed. I will say when I went over to the pub side I got served promptly. My disclaimer for the negative input. Naomi knows how to work a bar and was doing a good job last night. How ever the other 2 bartenders where to busy being hispters and talking with there friends and flirting with girls. I suggest that they be coached to do there job more and lighten up on the flirting and bullshiting with friends.

Place is nice however dance floor etiquette is lacking. There should be no drinks on the dance floor, floor was so sticky with spilled drinks. Band was very good, though.

Food is pretty good, prices are reasonable. The one complaint Id have is the service, it is pretty slow. We can spend more than 2 hours there ordering wings and poutine.

Last two times we have called in coke right in we will save u a seat, show up 5 minutes later and get given a pile of excuses whoever is on the other end of the phone needs to be smarter then the napkin next to it, last time we were in there the chicken was half cooked and raw look else where for a better place to eat

We left because no one came to wait on us . There were 2 people behind the bar but neither came out to serve so..... We went to another small restaurant and got service immediately.We were disappointed because the service was so much better and the burgers were great the last time we went. :(

The server Brittany is awsome, some of the other servers take way to long to bring the check, you end up spending more time waiting for the check than waiting on the food, but, the food is fantastic .

Nellys has the best burger in St.Albans, hands down. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere...always my first choice for dining or relaxing at the bar.

Drinks are great! food is a little expensive for pub fair. But worth it for a fun night out! Its great to have this little gem in downtown.

This is one of my favorite think to do go to the best club Karib is amazing and awesome bartenders and the owner is great loving and it a great way to chill out have a drink and be will down to earth people and if you love to dance you would love it :)

Quite the turnaround from the previous establishment. Solid menu with something for most everyone. I don’t think it’s over priced considering the surrounding restaurants. Everything on the menu is less than $15.

Not much to say here. We visited after fleeing the bad live music at Twiggs. It didnt have bad live music. Drinks were decent.

Fun atmosphere. Nice rectangle bar toSit around and converse with people. Upbeat music. Went on trivia and taco night.

I just had Switch backs, lots of people were eating dinner, some families. Being a vegetarian I didnt try, the menu online wasnt vegetarian friendly. She did tell me they ad revamped the menu recently!

Great now that it is under new ownership! Cant wait to see what these guys do with it. Already a cleaner and friendlier environment. I would love to see st albans with a night club with an upscale vibe.

I went here to participate in a glass painting event. I left before the event because they allow smoking. Apparently they can because they are an open air venue.

Typical dance club. Music was way louder than it needed to be, but there was a good crowd and drink service was pretty quick

One of my favorite restaurants in Saint Albans, I love the burgers at this place without a doubt, the service every time my favorite waitress served me was the best, excellent place to have lunch or dinner with friends and have a pleasant time, I love that They have a great variety of beers and a great bar with a great variety of liquors, without a doubt every time I return to Vt Saint Albans I will visit this good restaurant.

Very warm welcome, hearty and tasty dishes! This restaurant is a must!
