My experience was amazing here. I love how aesthetic the place is all around. I got the chance to enjoy the hot tub for an hour with my sister and we were delighted to have the cucumber water in the champagne glasses. We had such a nice time enjoying the scenery and everything was so peaceful and lovely there.

This place truly is a secret. You walk up the pathway, and open the door and youre transported to a place of serenity. You walk in and take off your shoes. Then you are escorted to your room. The couples massage was booked and the room had a nice quaint, serene ambiance. We were asked if we needed to use the restroom, or if we wanted to have something to drink. The bathroom is attached to our room. Charlene is heaven sent. She has the magical hands. Jean-Luke did a fantastic job. He knew the parts to hit. The steamed towels were amazing. Will definitely be back, sometime in the spring to enjoy the scenery. Thanks for making our first time memorable.

Took my team here for a spa day and loved it! Every staff member we encountered was great, professional, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We had a blast! Everything from the vintage decor, art work and more was a vibe! They were very accommodating. 24 hours later, I still feel great! They are a hidden gem in STL!

Massage was easy to book online. We were visiting from out of town and werent sure about the area. We were so surprised at the service and the atmoshpere. Both were wonderful. We will be back.

I booked the romantic couples massage for my fiance and I and when I tell you we have not stopped talking about it since! I have had massages before (so I thought) and this was my fiancés first time. Taylor and Shanta were our massage therapists and we could not have been paired with better people. They made our time together so special and I have never seen my fiance so relaxed. We both can’t wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful time at secret garden spa! The staff were all kind and inviting. You come in and take off your shoes and hang up your coat and feel right at home. We booked the romantic couples massage and the room was perfect. I loved all of the flowers and plants that were in the spa. Will hopefully visit again in the future and would recommend this place to everyone.

I did not expect the utter attention and focus here. Not to mention the best and most attentive deep tissue massage ever this old front lady has ever received thanks to India, and the most gentle cheek tapping and overall soothing during a facial thanks to Sarah. The ability of this place to give individual attention is bar none, and I’m so grateful!

I got a massage and facial as a birthday gift, and I’m honestly telling you it was probably the best massage I’ve ever had. Ashley was great at communicating exactly what I needed and setting expectations, and definitely found spots that I didn’t even know had knots. I want to go back soon!

We booked an Ultimate massage experience, the masseuses’ were very skilled, and left us feeling relaxed. The hydro-jelly face mask had our skin feeling flawless! After the massage we showered and went out to the hot tub, we were told to use our wet towels from the shower to dry off. I suggest bringing water and towels with you.

We did the Romantic Couples Massage Package with a 30-minute hot tub add-on. Best massages weve ever had, hot tub was clean and relaxing, the massage therapists were friendly and professional. Exactly what we wanted.

I would plan a return trip to St. Louis just to visit the Secret Garden again! India’s work is therapeutic and intuitive. The studio is unique and sooo charming! Loved the hot tub soak at the end of my service.

I booked the Birthday Package for a friends 32nd birthday. It was easy to schedule online and I was able to prepay for it. The staff were communicative. My friends review was you could have rolled me in a blanket and put me in bed, I was so relaxed.Highly recommend!

My partner and I splurged on the Romantic Couples Massage package and it was lovely. The space is beautifully and intentionally decorated, the staff welcoming and kind, and my only regret is not also booking a soak in the hot tub!

The place is cute, the garden area is nice.My wife wanted to surprise me for our anniversary and booked a romantic combination package that was suppose to be a 90min massage, facial, hot wax, scrub, 30 min hot tub soak all of the things. She also added the romance package that was supposed to have rose petals laid out and a rose to keep a drink and some chocolate. I was going to let it go because every one has a bad day every once in a while but when my wife finally told me she spent over $400 on this experience…. it just was not worth it. First we come in take our shoes off sit down fill out the questionnaire where you circled spots to focus on and we were asked a drink preference. Seemed to be going great. Then we over hear two employees loudly arguing and fighting about being booked back to back. Talk about awkward… we brushed it off whatever co-workers butt heads sometimes it’s fine. We were asked if we brought shower shoes and robes? Seemed strange but we only had swimsuits with us to change in to for the hot tub. We go in to the room and there are some fake petals on the ground music nice smells silk sheets it’s looking super cute. The rose that was for me was pretty sad a maroon-ish wilted rose. At the time I didn’t know these little things were an added extra cost, again this whole thing was a surprise for me. We get situated and they come in and put the gel facial mask on, that was great, felt amazing. The scrubs and wax were nice. My wife’s massage had already started before the masks were being applied and mine didn’t start until a few minutes after. My wife’s massage was great she said she loved it. Mine however…. I wasn’t told to turn on to my stomach until maybe 15 mins before it was over. 2/3 of the areas I circled were barely touched. I even asked if she would focus on the right hip area like she did the left while I was on my back because she spent more time on one side and hardly any on the other. I was really looking forward to my lower back being worked on but I’m not exaggerating when I say she touched my lower back for maybe 2 minutes IF that. Also I could hear my wife getting a hot stone treatment and I wasn’t. I thought maybe she picked a different package for us each or something but that wasn’t the case. I found out later that I should have gotten that too. We mentioned it as we were paying and was met with “oh hot stones aren’t a big deal to us sorry, I’ll refund you $10” we also had to ask about the chocolate which we got on the way out. (Would have been nice durring the hot tub time maybe?) Also I’ve never had a massage where I wasn’t offered a water. The hot tub was nice however I’m not sure I understand the order of which they do things in. Like why get this treatment with lotions oils and wax’s and then go get in a chemical filled hot tub? Idk that part might just be me. They also had us shower after the treatments before the hot tub which is understandable you don’t want those things in the hot tub… there was also a hair treatment/scalp massage, it was nice I could have personally lived with or with out the treatment. But we had to use the same towels to dry off after the shower and out at the hot tub. Then was stoped at the door with “leave your shower shoes out side and make sure your dry before entering” it wasn’t particularly warm outside and our towels were damp from the shower. Anyway when we did express some disappointment about the stones and mediocre massage we were told the person in charge of doing my services was having a bad day and was dealing with some things a death in the family... And look, I truly get that we’ve all been there, and I feel bad she’s going through that but a customers experience shouldn’t suffer when they are paying these kinds of prices. Maybe she should have been excused from work that day and someone else step in. I don’t know but I’m sorry I wouldn’t come back here.

Marianne is incredible! After a long flight I booked an appointment and it did not disappoint. She worked through knots, eased my tired, swollen legs, and I left feeling so relaxed. Definitely booking again the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

My partner took me here for my birthday and it was absolutely a wonderful and magical experience. Everyone was so friendly and kind and listened to our individual requests. The building was beautiful and colorful, and also the massage was top tier and I left feeling so relaxed

The Secret Garden is a beautiful and unique space. I have had a couples massage and the “Garden Goddess” package. Sara’s facial was amazing. She’s warm, very knowledgeable and makes everyone feel welcome. Rose gave me a wonderful massage. She was very attentive and skilled. I can’t wait to come back!

Our experience at Secret Garden was fantastic. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quality massage and a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. My fiance and I had a couples massage together and it was the best massage I have had. Sara and Ivory made us feel so comfortable and at ease. My fiance has been very sore from intense workouts and he left our massage session feeling so much better. We loved the old fashioned feel and decor of the building. It felt very homey and we were at ease the entire time. We also added the additional hot tub soak and it was the perfect way to end the whole experience. I hope to be back if Im ever near St Louis again!

I got my mom a birthday massage / facial / hot tub excursion. place was beautiful and the woman who initially greeted us was super friendly and great energy. the next woman who i believe is the owner was my mothers massage therapist and facial person. she was less friendly. a red headed woman. shes probably a great business woman but i wouldnt recommend her at the front desk. she was a bit off putting and a little too direct for my customer service standards. my mom noticed the same thing but wasnt offended or anything, just had the same thought i had. she should remain behind the scenes.i liked the space a lot! beautiful location, and my mom enjoyed her services. i wouldnt take her back there but maybe myself if i was ever in town and would recommend as a spot to try so i could get a better analysis before really recommending.tldr: owner a bit too direct and shouldnt be guest facing but otherwise good services.

We had to very excellent massages and the location is beautiful. Scheduling could be a bit better. After scheduling we were called and told they didnt have 2 separate rooms and they asked if we would mind to share a room. We were happy to accommodate, but then they wanted to charge us 30 extra dollars, which doesnt seem like the right way to do business when we are accommodating your needs. What they dont know is that I actually dont prefer to be in the same room, because my partner talks through the entire massage! So I am really making an accommodation for your convenience not mine and certainly not going to pay more when Im accommodating you. After a bunch of fussing I was just about ready to cancel the whole thing when they decided to see if they could fit us in, and later that day they called to say that they were going to continue with the reservation as it was. When we arrived there didnt appear to be anybody else there, and we were put in a room together. Both are masseuses were fantastic and will definitely be back but are certainly confused about what is actually going on. We didnt actually see any individual rooms so Im not sure how we would book massages individually at the same time in the future.

Awesome experience, will definitely be back. Massage was fantastic, I like deep tissue with lots of pressure and Jean Luc did an amazing job. All the staff were kind and welcoming, the atmosphere was unique and relaxing, very clean. Hot tub spa experience was lovely too.

Secret Garden is a truly unique and beautiful business and a MUST GO place whether you live in St. Louis or are just visiting. I went here in March 2023 and Ive been daydreaming of going back every since! Natasha is truly the best massage therapist Ive ever experienced, a kind person who has a real gift with a very calming presence... and Ive heard nothing but good things around town about the other employees as well. Im very excited to be returning today! Im hoping my work schedule slows down so I dont have to wait so long to book another appt. Thank you Sara for creating a magical place of relaxation and healing. Im doing my part to spread the word so others can fall in Love with this place like I did. Keep up the good work, people really need you guys (weather they know it or not) in these non-stop stressful times!Though our city offers many options for places to get a massage (I know because Ive been to all of them, excluding some of the corporate places that just arent for me), Secret Garden is the best by far. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment asap!

Prices were great, and my massage therapist was so sweet. She did an amazing job, she found spots I didn’t even know were strained. It’s woman owned, which I definitely support, and it had a quaint ambiance. I wish the fountain was working, that would have added to the decor. Definitely a little gem.

I had a pleasant and relaxing massage experience at Secret Garden. The entrance is a bit hidden and you must take a side door to enter. Inside looks like it was nicely decorated by somebodys cool aunt. It is spa-like without being either too hippy-dippy or generically zen sterile. My massage with Heather was excellent. She is an experienced masseuse who was sensitive to my quirks as well as respectful to my requests. I really enjoyed the ambience and the singing bowls on the stereo set the stage for deep relaxation. Sara, who was working reception, graciously gave me a brief tour of the garden at my request. Secret Garden seems like a gem and I definitely plan to come back again.

I’ve been visiting Secret Garden regularly for more than a year. It’s always easy to book a massage and their masseuses do a really great job. I’ve never had a bad massage. Unfortunately, during my last visit there was such a lack of professionalism by masseuse that I probably won’t return. She met me smelling strongly of tobacco smoke with stained clothing. Then, she talked during my entire 60 min massage about her pit bulls. I’m okay with a little conversation for the first few minutes of the massage- but I couldn’t relax while hearing about how her dog picked up another by the face and tossed it around. I’m disappointed because I really enjoyed visiting Secret Garden.

This place is absolutely amazing! On my first visit, I was offered water in a floral teacup with a crunchy minty seed that had come FROM THEIR GARDEN which I think sums up the vibe of this place! Very cute and relaxing. Ive received a massage from Debbie that was so relaxing I felt like I was melting into the table after it was over. I also got a massage from Leah which was the BEST massage Ive ever had for my knots. I still think about that massage! I visit St Louis only occasionally but I plan to see Leah every time I do. Also all of the massage therapists here Ive talked to (and I talk A LOT) have been so friendly, welcoming, and open to conversation! Great vibes, great people, and great massages :)

It always feels a little magical when I open the gate from Vandeventer and step into this relaxing garden. The house has the cutest furnishings and the massage rooms have been decorated to make massages very relaxing. They play nice calming music and use scents for the full experience. I highly recommend Heather as a massage therapist!! She’s helped me so much!

This place is absolutely wonderful. The building and grounds are lovely, quaint and very inviting. Charlene was my massage therapist and was extremely skilled and intuitive to the stress I carry in my body. I came in very stressed and am leaving so relaxed and content. This place is wonderful and the experience was worth every penny. I highly recommend.

The secret garden is INCREDIBLE! Literally just stepping foot here I am filled with inspiration and beauty. But on top of that, my facial and 2 massages Ive recieved have been so therapeutic. Without a doubt, the most relaxed and clear minded I’ve ever been in my LIFE. Natasha was so welcoming and truly cared about her work. The amount of peace her massage brought to my life is priceless. All the staff are very approachable and the vibe was perfect. I will absolutely be back, very soon. I don’t even do reviews, but this deserves praise.

Leah was great. I havent gotten a massage in months and she was somehow able to get all the knots out of my body in an hour. My neck and upper back are my problem spots and she took extra time and care to make sure that all the tension was released.I think this is the first time I will be going to bed without pain in a long time! Also the space is really quirky, cute, and charming! I thoroughly enjoyed and cant wait to be back.

Even before my booking my appointment, staff was very helpful in scheduling the right treatments and time slots for me. My friend and I both had fantastic massages from Ashland- major props, the hot stones were an extra treat for us. Also had a lovely facial from Katie, who was great with checking in throughout the process. Would totally recommend the Garden Goddess package (or any massage/facial services) to anyone.

This place is real experience in every aspect. The grounds and the facility itself are stunning , that’s not a normal word that I typically use but just look at the photos. My therapist was Sarah and she’s a first class human being with a wide breath of experience and tried the lomi lomi massage and it’s lot of work for the therapist and she did a great job. It’s not

This was hands down the best massage I have ever had. Anne made me feel so comfortable, and took the time to focus on my needs. The facility is neat and clean. The decor and atmosphere are magical, as I imagine a secret garden would be. I have been in pain for weeks, and I walked out with just mild soreness after my amazing massage. I will definitely be back.

Very good massage. Only suggestion is ask your therapist to make sure their nails are cut back. And also be mindful of how your clothing/shirts drag along on a client. Overall great massage worked tight issues.

Booked an hour facial at the Secret Garden and it was so warm and welcoming on the inside, that I loved it. My facial was so relaxing and made my face feel so good. Wish I could visit the Secret Garden every week.

This place is a wonderful, quaint, local secret gem. My wife and I celebrated with a pre massage soak, then a couples massage, followed by an informative and fun couples massage lesson. This was our first couples spa experience and we enjoyed it from the beginning. Highly recommend!

My husband booked a couples massage with Sara and Derek at The Secret Garden in the Grove.From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we were impressed by how adorable the property is.They had champagne and apple cider waiting for us right when we walked inside the door... and they helped us feel so at ease and at home. I was truly blown away by their hospitality not to mention the adorable design style of the studio.The massage itself was professional and thorough! And that meant a lot because we are both massage newbies and both had a lot of anxiety before the experience. All of that melted away. We highly recommend going to them!Thanks again Sara and Derek!

Edit: To respond to the owners response, we never did receive any refund back. We were not asked about not using the paraffin wax. We did NOT get the one hour facial we were supoosed to. This woman is not trustworthy and once again, if you want a relaxing time, I would avoid this business.My husband and I booked the God/Godess package for July 1st. According to the booking this was to be a one hour facial, one hour massage and wax paraffin treatment for hand and feet totalling 2 hour and 15 minutes. Neither of us had ever had a facial before but to say we were disappointed is an understatement. I cant speak for my husband but I know that mine lasted no more than 20 minutes. The lady did my husbands first and I got massaged. We were supposed to get a deep tissue massage, we have been all over country getting massages and I have to say that that was the worst massage Ive ever had. Maybe is was the technique she used but it just was not im used to. After an hour of massage my massage therapist stopped, said she was done and went out of the room. I just layed there awkwardly for about 15 minutes until she returned and said ok, I guess we are going to improvise She just started half heartedly rubbing me, was on her phone. You could tell she did not want to be there and after laying there for 15 minutes waiting for what I thought would be my facial, I was totally out of the relaxation mode. If it werent for ruining my husbands time I would have just told her to stop because it was just awkward and uncomfortable. Finally the lady to came in to do my facial and as I mentioned before it was a total letdown. She did no more than what do at home. When she knew I was letdown she said something about it was supposed to an hour and a half massage and 30 minute facial when it clearly states on the booking that its an hour each. She then said they went over their time with because it was more than 2 hours and it clearly says its a 2 hour and 15 minute service. We never did receive our wax treatments. They put these cheap plastic gloves on our hands and feet with Im assuming some kind of lotion but I was NOT a wax treatment. I do not feel that we got what we paid for. We spent $465 for this service and it was a HUGE disappointment. The owner said that we would be receiving a refund but we have gotten nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and on a whim decided to get a couples massage! This was the first place we called and we were lucky enough to get a spot due to a cancelation! The garden is beautiful! This was my first massage and it was amazing! I was so fully relaxed and loved it! If its your first time there Id suggest calling about where it is because its a bit hidden. Nothing but great things to say from both a newbie to massages (me) and someone who has received many massage (wife)! Thanks again guys!

Wow! This place is absolutely amazing. A true hole in wall, literally and figuratively. You walk through an iron gate to a garden oasis. The decor, layout and vibe of this property is stunning. I want to convert my own home into something like this. We recieved the most relaxing massages, infused water, sangria, rose petals, all the works. Lavender gave me my massage and I will definitely be back. The best couples massage we have ever had. 😍

Incredible place with passionate and caring staff. I work 40+ hours on my feet and my masseuse (prob spelled wrong!) Natasha undid every knot in my neck, back, legs and feet. I did an hour deep tissue and feel asleep twice it was incredible. Best massage Ive ever gotten and in a real cool building. (Its called Secret Garden so be ready to search for it as its kinda tucked away across the street from a brewery)

Wow oh wow…….oh WOW! There literally aren’t words to describe the experience my wife and I were so fortunate to have yesterday with Sara and Derek! I knew within the first few minutes from when Sara laid hands on me, I had found the dream therapist I had been looking for. We truly felt it was the first ACTUAL massage we had ever received. The holistic and natural healing process that took place over the next hour and a half just blew by as we literally melted in their loving hands…….After finding this rare treasure, we can finally once and for all end our search for the right folks to take away our stress and pain as we continue to monthly drift on down this amazing river of pleasure and serenity known as the Secret Garden!

Had my first ever massage with Natasha and for the first time in a while, I went to bed without any back pain. It is a bit confusing to find at first as there’s no sign outside (maybe I missed it). But the lovely building, friendly people, and a cute cat made it a great experience

I absolutely loved the ambiance of Secret Garden. Although there was no welcoming music, whether zen or ambience music, the static esthetic was still pleasing. My friend and I came on the day of my 32nd birthday. We got the Goddess Package which was a massage/facial package. Altogether, we paid a little over $500.00 including gratuity. The massage portion was great, however the Esthetician used over the counter products for a $200.00 facial. There was ZERO consultation on both ends. Neither practitioner did one, asked questions, asked about reservations or contraindications, etc. Neither asked what was bothering us, what products we use at home to make sure all is safe during a spa procedure, what we were looking for in this “Spa” experience. The Esthetician was on her phone DURING my “facial.” I happened to notice once I opened my eyes. They used Alexa throughout the room for music, but the manager stated she was on her phone to set up music … during the service. *Alexa is not ran through a phone.*If anyone is paying $200.00 for a service, all preparations need to be made. The practitioner needs to be on time, which they weren’t, music needs to be ready, which it wasn’t, and adequate products and care need to be made .. which it wasn’t. The manager gave a $25.00 discount because all of our services weren’t rendered, which we were appreciative for but for the price, I would most definitely go somewhere more sterile, accommodating, and thorough.

Beautiful garden. Nice concept. Massage therapist was very nice. It more on the expensive range of rate. The entrance to the place is the left side of door. It looks like it’s locked but it opens up. I couldn’t find entrance when I arrived, I drove around multiple times to make sure I’m on the right spot. I called the business number and no answer. I waited in the car for 20 mins and decided that I should go home. 40 mins after they called and said they tried and called me numerous times and no answer. They said I put my number on my profile with 1 digit off. I looked back to my receipt in my email and my number was correctly typed in there. Anyways, they said I would be charged because it wasn’t their fault that I missed my appointment and the massage therapist was willing to for me. I don’t want to lose my $100 down payment or pay for a cancellation fee so I went anyways. I enjoyed my time with my massage therapist. Payment time, I gave her my card and she uses apple square for payment. She then told me that she’s going to charge $5 additional for card fee.Anyways, still a good experience. Just a heads up on what to look forward to. And probably bring cash.

The place is clean and everyone is friendly. This place is a hidden gem!I came to St. Louis on a business trip and 3 of us decided to get massages in our downtime. They were the best massages that we had! Jo is fantastic! We’re even going back for another round before we go to the airport.

Recently discovered the new Secret Garden Spa in The Grove neighborhood and so happy I did! The massage was excellent—far above your average cookie-cutter massage you find at chains. The property is the most enchanting space I have ever seen in St. Louis. Check them out—you won’t regret it!

Sara is amazing at what she does. Very professional and attentive to whats going on with your body. Her massages melt away the stress and pain. I have been going to her for years and would highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

I have had couples massages here and it is a very nice atmosphere and had an excellent massage. it can be a bit hard to find, but I guess that is one of the things that make it special.
