Massage Envy

I’ve been customer I would say for the past couple of years coming had appointment today. Emergency happened. I canceled couple of hours before and I have a charged full price. This is outrageous and I’m not continuing my membership. That’s for sure. Cancellation policies made that way. God forbid if you die on your way to the massage envy I guess it’s going to charge you for the for the fee. That’s ridiculous. Therapist are great. I’m sorry for therapist that I use Matt and and Aaron are great people, but your policy sucks and you’re not gonna have me as a customer. Very disappointing. !

They took me in last minute. As I had a hurting lower back and Eric was amazing and worked wonders and had me walking and working again

Keri is always amazing and I feel extremely comfortable with her all the time!Normally my experience at the front desk is also wonderful but I felt very rushed and the person was short and curt versus past visits. I was glad my appointment was already made for my next visit so I could continue with my relaxed happy feeling after my 90 minute massage! This was a first after being a monthly customer for over a year so maybe she was having a bad day which is why I still give a 5 overall rating!

The young lady at the front desk, Heaven, was wonderful. She was very patient as I asked lots of questions and helped me find time slots for future appointments.Nichole did a fine job on my massage therapy . This was my second time to see her. Each visit she has focused on different areas. She seems well rounded in her training.

Sunny and Ashley at the front desk were awesome! Sunny was so kind and very informative on how I can improve my skin. This was my first experience with a facial and I was really nervous, but she really eased my nerves and I felt very comfortable around her. I would recommend her to others! I’ll definitely visit again!

Anesthetist, Sunny, is the BEST! She is Professional, Knowledgeable and Always willing to answer questions about any products I am currently using or provide advice regarding my skin - I trust her completely. And as far as getting a massage goes, Brad and Bridget are fabulous! I have been a member of Massage Envy for 5 years and have never regretted it!

I almost don’t want to share how amazing Jim is because I don’t want to share him! As a massage therapist Jim is consistent. Consistent with pressure, concerns, and knowledge. As a person, Jim is friendly, fun, and easy going. If you just want a quiet, relaxing massage, he’ll do it. If you want to talk, he’s up to that too. And I have never seen him in a bad mood. I have a joint/muscle disorder and Jim knows all about it and caters to my needs.If you are looking for a spa type place, unfortunately this isn’t the place. They are there to provide a quality massage and they deliver. And their membership plan makes coming and going so easy! It’s a credit system so if you don’t make it to a massage in any given month, it becomes a credit on your account, not just money lost. I don’t usually save up my credits but am happy to know I will still have them there when I’m ready to make an appointment.

The manager at this location is very attentive to her client’s needs and desires. She addressed some snafus I encountered with transferring my membership after I moved to Kirkwood in a most efficient and satisfactory manner.I have seen two therapists recently. Both are talented, responsive and sensitive to safety and comfort. The front line staff is also very accommodating and very pleasant even when addressing a complaint. I highly recommend this location.

I had a 90-minute massage from Roberta and my troublesome back felt fantastic afterward and still feels great the next day. She used DTR to release some very tight muscles. She’s a wonderful massage therapist. And the front desk staff is great

I had a great massage with Hannah. She is Clearly a professional, and not only did I leave with a lot of issues resolved, but she gave me great advice on keeping things resolved.I use ME locations across the USA while I travel and I have always had a great experience. It was nice to visit my home location. 4+ years with a subscription and I wouldnt trade it for anything.

I’ve been going to this location since 2016. My two favorite people are Brad & Hannah. Lately I’ve been going to Brad. He is such a nice, attentive massage therapist. He actually listens to my concerns & aches & knows the right pressure to apply to help whatever area feel better. I feel like I’m not just another client, but rather an important person when I visit. Keep Brad forever! He’s one of the good ones.

Brittany scores a 5!!! After my facial I tried to buy a product but the two people on the desk could not find it in the computer so I left without it. Also while in the middle of making an appointment for my next visit the staff took a phone call and booked an appointment, after much discussion with the caller, while I cooled my heels. I know it is not their fault and she was very sweet and apologized but the person on the phone should have been on hold, not the client standing and waiting. I assume that is company policy. Overall everyone was very professional and courteous. Very nice people and do not in any way want to get them in trouble! But I did have to be somewhere else so it was inconvenient.Thanks!

I was lucky enough to get in last minute due to a reschedule from an existing client... Boy I needed it!! Saha did an amazing job working out many knots in my back and the tightness in my neck and I left feeling relaxed and could actually move my neck. 😀 My back is extremely improved but so many knots and not enough time to get them all worked out. Ive gone to massage envy for years and absolutely love having my membership. I recently moved from out of state and started coming to this location, and Im extremely happy! Not sure why a few reviews mention bad customer service.. I always feel that the customer service is great here. And my therapist, Aaron, is the best. I am an athlete and tend to break myself in the gym quite often haha.. but he always fixes me up when I come in, and I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Thanks, M.E.!!! :)

Beyond frustrating trying to get an appointment.Our monthly credits go unused because their are NO slots available. I think this location - which generally is amazing - must be suffering terribly, due to the current labor shortage and economic situation.Looking out more than a month, I saw exactly 2 one hour time slots available. The practical fact is that you can not get a massage at this massage location.Hopefully, this gets better in the future

Bradley was very helpful in introducing me to my first massage, and made me feel comfortable with the entire process.. he was very attentive to the areas I had which were bothering me, and I felt my pain was significantly reduced when going about my day... The whole experience was positive...

Very professional, Christine talked to me during the therapy to make sure I wasnt in any pain (that is the reason that I had come to Massage Envy), adjusted her techniques to ensure I was getting the most out of my therapy. I signed up for the monthly massage for 6 months and will re-evaluate after that. I was very happy with my treatment.

My massage therapist Sonya Is amazing. I always feel so relaxed and loosened up after. I also appreciate that she is quiet and let’s me completely zone out. I am; however, a little frustrated that with the Covid variant of Omicron so bad right now that the facility is not enforcing masking.

Christopher has been able to relieve the pain in my lower back with consistency. He’s Also marvelous with my feet. No more beginning stages of plantar fasciitis! Very considerate and professional young man! Every therapist I have encountered has been professional there!!

I went to Bridgett for a perinatal massage and left in tears of happiness for the relaxation I felt. I haven’t felt this good in as long as I remember. Thank you Bridgett and the great staff of Massage Envy!

Saha was amazing. I explained injuries I had before we started and she created a plan to make it better. She knew what to do to help me feel better , while still giving me a relaxing experience. Only problem is shes booked out for a long time.😫

My husband and I had been members here for over a year, getting monthly massages, but then paused our account over the last year. For our first appointment back about a week ago we were called one hour before our appointment and were told the therapist couldnt make it. ONE HOUR. If we had cancelled one hour before we would have been charged. We paid for a babysitter and were out of the house since we got food beforehand. When called we were not told that there were other times, were provided no other options. My expectation would have been to get something like a free added 30 min on our next massage or something. I then tried to call the manager 3x over the course of a week and a half. The person at the desk said ok the manager will be back X day and will try to give you a call then. Um, try?? They did not try very hard as it took me calling multiple times to get a call back at all. Now I did get one call and we are now playing phone tag. I just got off the phone with the person at the front desk and she said that the manager had been trying to get ahold of me. I found that comment so ignorant as calling me one time when I have called 3x is not what I would call her trying to get ahold of me. My point being- they are seriously lacking customer service. I understand that they are short staffed on management, but there is no excuse for this horrible customer experience. If this is not corrected when I finally get a call back we will be taking business elsewhere when we are through using massages that we have racked up and already paid for.

Tonya did a wonderful job of creating a very relaxing environment. Full body massage was wonderful, attention to my neck and shoulders was also fabulous. I would highly recommend this Massage Envy location and therapist!

I had a 5-star review first time here, with negative response with the front desk. My second massage with a different person, was less than a professional experience. It was like someone making up the massage as they went along, it seem like the person wasnt sure what they were trying to do other than pushing pressure spots. I will give it one more time paying full price for another person, and if it doesnt go well Ill go back to the first or move on.Lol the feedback I got from Massage Envy absolutely didnt address anything other than saying thank you

I had the most amazing massage today with Shaha. I woke up unable to turn my neck to the left, and an hour spent on my upper back, shoulders, and neck has me now able to move it side-to-side. I will be back in less than a week to see her again! 10/10 recommend.

I absolutely love going to Massage Envy. Just had my 2nd massage with Tullia and she does amazing work! Ill continue to have more sessions with her. I highly recommend her!!!

I paid for my sons, my girlfriend and myself to be massaged at the Oakville location, after going there for about a year myself, I thought Id share the love with my family. Thats when things went south. My girlfriend was fired on, told to remove her panties so that the therapist could do a deeper massage, my sons complained about the therapist not addressing their issues. In March I called to complain and after more than 1 month, got a phone call from the owner only after I told the receptionist that I was cancelling my contract with them. I told him about the situation and never even got an apology or that he would look into it. After receiving my most recent, l June credit card statement, I saw that I was still being charged over $100 per month yet for both myself and my son. I phoned and was told that they would send out a cancellation request and that my account would be cancelled 10 days after their receiving and reviewing my request form. I was also told that I would lose all of the massages that I had unknowingly paid for to date. I have asked for the phone number of their legal department and plan on starting an informational social media campaign against this company.

This was my first visit. My massage room was quite cold. I told them, but nothing changed. On the paperwork that I filled out, I clearly wrote that I had asthma and did not tolerate perfumes or odors. My massage room had some kind of scent in it and my nose quickly became totally plugged up and I had to breathe through my mouth. I told them, but nothing changed. I also said which body part I wanted focused on for my massage. Again, I was ignored and they massaged what they wanted. I will not be back and will not recommend to anyone. This is a cookie cutter place. They could care less about the individual paying customer.

I love this place and have never had a bad therapist. Right now Im seeing Kari and shes incredible at getting the tension out while listening to where its more tender or needs more pressure. Really enjoy this facility.

If your back is in need of an excellent massage, Jim is the best around. Professional, friendly finds all the knots and works them out. When I leave, I feel 2 inches taller.

I’ve always had a great experience here. The front desk is always nice and my masseuse, Daniel, is amazing. Please ask for him if you want a great massage, he knows what he’s doing and I’ve gotten several of my friends hooked on going to him.

Ive been getting facials and massages for years. Been many places with many different people. This is by far the worst place I have ever gone. At one point I had someone put my back out because of how poorly they did the massage. I then switched to facials. Tried every person they have on staff. The majority of them are right out of cosmetology school and honestly dont know what they are doing. Ive now canceled my membership. There is no way Id ever recommend this Massage Envy to anyone. Instead, go to the Massage Envy off Telegraph Road or to the Ginger Bay Salon in Kirkwood.

I had a wonderful experience with tulliaShe is always so nice and accommodatingMakes my time there very much worth it as I have a very busy schedule and is hard to spend time for me.I will definitely be back to see her!!

Roberta is the best therapist I’ve ever had. She is skilled, calming and funny, and I look forward to my sessions with her every month.

I go here often because of my membership. I have been massaged by Selena and Tonya and both were satisfactory. I have had many issues with tension in my shoulders, especially my right arm due to sitting at a desk and bad posture I think. Going to the chiropractor didnt do much, my primary care doctor is a joke and wouldnt do anything to help me, so I have found this to be a welcome respite from the constant pain. I also have been to the Olivette location and have been really worked on by Yzumi, who despite her small stature gives a good deep massage.

Tonya is a great massage therapist! She applies the right amount of pressure in the right locations for the perfect amount of time. Each session has been a great and relaxing experience.

I recently had a great massage with ashley. I just booked a follow up with her. Attention to detail, thorough, managed the time will to hit all the areas. Therapists like ashley are what make Massage Envy my first choice.

When I tried to reschedule an appointment due to inclement weather coming earlier than forecasted, I was told that I would have to pay even though I was calling well in advance. Please note that I wasn’t trying to cancel it, just reschedule. I had to also reschedule a doctors appointment that was earlier in the day and they completely understood and said that their office would probably be closing soon due to sleet coming down in Fenton. I cannot believe that Massage Envy would expect their customers to put themselves in an unsafe position or take a monetary hit. The manager’s reasoning on the phone was that they had sent confirmations the day before. The day before’s forecast said the weather would be coming after my appointment. The woman who answered the phone commented that it was coming down at her house as well as most area schools had already canceled so I know they realized that my need to reschedule was necessary. I understand that it is someone’s livelihood and I would not want to waste their time nor take an appointment that someone else would want want. Please realize if they are willing to enforce their policy in this necessary situation, that their customer service policies are flawed. I could only imagine what they would do to someone who suddenly became sick, was in an accident, etc. If you are looking to get a massage or use services similar to Massage Envy, it might be in your best interest to go somewhere they enforced their policies logically and with common sense.

The front office staff does a great job- always courteous and professional. Therapists here are top notch and a critical part of my overall holistic healthcare team.

I have been a member for years. This place has gone downhill. The most recent instance, I had a session this past Thursday at 8am and no one was there to open. I left at 8:10 and still have not been called to reschedule / get an explanation.

I ask for Crystal W EVERY time because she is the BEST! She is courteous and friendly and makes me laugh! When I’m talkative, she responds…when I’m not, she doesn’t. I highly recommend her!!!

Showed up early for my massage, checked in and was told they would be right with me. Then the receptionist says have to cancel because the massage therapist can’t come. She didn’t seem to care and was just like I’ll give you the owners number and you can call….. horrible customer service and horrible communication.

Jim gave one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time . He really knew how to work on my problem areas & get results . I had so much relief when I left there .

I was a member for 11 years. I stayed committed to my contract that I signed but they did not. Two years ago they raised my membership and again this year. I could not afford the price change and had to stop going. Not an honorable franchise.

Way too expensive way too much attitude from the front staff, they are all about the hussle. Saw someone being trained in the front waiting room and the manager was very clear to push the extra services so its all about the money here dont waste your time
