JP at the Clayton location is incredibly skilled at her craft. Its hard to find someone who will actually do deep tissue nowadays and she does an amazing job. Great technique and eager to respond to client feedback. I recommend her 10/10!

So I had an appointment today for a special occasion and I just received a call stating that I would have to schedule another day. That defeats the whole purpose of me booking for a “special occasion” and absolutely ruined everything! I won’t ever be back. Not accommodating at all. If I could rate this experience a 0 I definitely would have.

Had a massage here for the first time. I had selected the focus to be on the back and shoulders. My back was ignored. Even the techniques seemed limited. I am not sure the masseuse was adequately trained. Given the price point and service I received this may be my worst experience with a massage ever. I would not recommend this location to anyone I know.

Derek was amazing!! He knew exactly what areas were hurting and tight without me telling him, which lets me know he has a great technics. 10/10 highly recommend 👌

JP is very awesome and her skills are impeccable. She is very intoned with the body and know when to apply the right pressure. She is also just an awesome person and a delight to get a massage

I go to the Clayton location to work with JP. She is very thorough and works on pressure points. Definitely would recommend! I’ve also worked with Rae and she was wonderful as well! I prefer med-firm and always get that when I go with either of these massage therapists.

Of all the Massage Envy locations we’ve visited over the years, the one in Clayton has consistently been among the best in terms of customer service quality. JP has become our favorite over the past year or so. She’s an excellent therapist with wealth of experience. JP is also highly professional in her customer interactions and great at listening to / understanding their needs.

Ive been coming to this location for a few years. all the therapists are skilled, but my time with JP has been incredible. She has over 30 years experience in eastern medical massage, and her expertise is unmatched. Shes been working with me to heal a stubborn thumb issue that the hand doctors couldnt fix and I have regained much of my mobility and I am 90 percent pain free now. JP loves her clients and truly wants us to heal, and has the ability to help us do just that. Thanks JP!!!

JP gives the best massages! She is attentive and customizes my massages based on my needs every visit. I’ve booked with her at different times of the day and I must say she’s consistent, no matter if I’m the first appointment or later in the day.I highly recommend booking with her.

JP is the best masseuse I have ever met, she is not only considerate and gentle to the guests, but also cares about the physical condition of the guests, and then gives the most accurate and effective massage. I had numbness in my fingers for 2 years, and orthopedic doctors and physiotherapists couldnt fix it. JP gave me a massage for 2 months and I felt 70% better. JP is indeed a massage therapist with many years of experience in massage, and she has also been an excellent massage teacher in China. I hope JP can continue to use her strengths and continue to show her best massage skills in the massage industry!

I was about to close my monthly membership last month until I had a massage from JP. She is the best massage therapist I have every had anywhere. It’s no wonder she is booked full. You have to book her out almost a month in advance. Highly recommend.

This location use to be my favorite until 22. I had gotten an massage with the lights on. I instantly cancelled my appointment. I tried again this year. They have taken two payments out and never called to confirmed my appointments. I call to cancel my membership due to finances and timing issues. They gave me many excuses and re-bubbles . They were find with just taking my payments but telling me that I need make two more monthly payments. I never signed anything. I was told that I can cancel at anytime. unstable management. Do go here.

Do not EVER get an subscription with massage envy. I paid for 7 months Never used them. Made a transfer once. An I made an appointment I couldn’t attend after booking. That two, Out of 7. But When I called an asked how many massages I had they told me that I had missed appointments I never booked. So that’s just over $150 down the drain. Then the guy I talked to was very rude when I asked how do I have no show When I never booked. I paid for 7 months booked one time but somehow they tell me I used 5. Be careful out there

I have been working with JP for a few months at this location. She is the best massage therapist I ever had. JP is very knowledgeable in both Chinese and western massage therapy. The most important part is that she listens to my concerns and tries very hard to help me to relieve the pain and cure my discomfort. She helped me a lot with my back pain and shoulder pain. I truly appreciate her professionalism and commitment to her clients.

This location likes to play games. We were experiencing very bad weather and floods in St. Louis. This particular day, we had a massage set up. I made contact with them just to let them know that we had a flood outside of our house, and it was very hard to maneuver through the water. They told me if I did not show up to my appointment that they would charge me and my wife. So me and my wife made attempt to make it to this appointment. We made it there five minutes before our massage time. They had one person in the building who is running the front Desk. She told me that none of the masseuse were able to make it into work due to the inclement weather. This really hurt our feelings. I was told that they will give us a free massage due to our troubles. We received a phone call the next day telling us that the masseuse was there and they were not going to give us a free massage. Make sure you get everything written on paper if they offer you something. We don’t plan on returning to this location ever again. Clayton, Missouri location

I bought a gift card for my family member and they got the massage done by Ty. She had the most amazing experience for her first massage! They dont know how to do this so Im making the review for them!. She said Ty was thorough, listened to her concerns, and was very sweet!She even made a comment about massaging her elbows! Thats great she hits all spots!She said the only downfall was that there was construction happening down stairs, but she said Ty still made her massage comfortable and relaxing.Maybe the front desk could tell people about construction upon booking.Keep hiring awesome massage therapists!

There is no better massage therapist than JP. She is incredibly professional and her massages are therapeutic yet relaxing. I have been getting massages for years and her technique is second to none!

Over the years I’ve been back and forth with this place and they are just a chain with bad policies meant to take your money. I’ve had them offer services they can’t deliver on and then to add insult to injury they hold you to a 60 day Policy once you cancel. Stay away from this company. Go to a private therapist and support small businesses. This place isn’t worth it!!!

Scheduled a massage for my birthday, got canceled 3hrs before the appt. Rescheduled for the next day, got canceled 2hrs before the appt. Im not coming back to this location. This was 2 days in a row and they said they called but all I received BOTH days were text messages. Literally the only reason Im trying to use massage envy is because I have a gift card, but it looks that will rot away in my wallet.

JP is a terrific massage therapist. She listens and understands what I need. When I leave I always feel much better. I highly recommend her services.

Front desk people are really friendly. First time getting a massage and I loved it my massue was a lady named Ty and her massage was excellent. I do plan on coming back.

The massage was good. Paid street parking made this not a good choice for other massages at this location.

If you want to get a massage therapist whose going to listen to exactly what you’re in need of a take the time to make sure you’re relaxed and feel as if you’re floating on a cloud then Ty is the person from the time I first walked to the back until the time I left she made sure my experience here was worth it and let me just say wherever she’s working I’m there definitely 10/10

I just visited the Clayton MO store today and the service was fine. Not the best as the masseuse did not focus on the area I asked about, but still a good massage. When I checked out I handed over my gift card and and the woman at the front desk said I owed $77 more. It was a $100 gift card and was never used. Service as it was my first time was $113. When I indicated the gift card had 100 on it she then applied my gift card and stated that there was actually a credit on my account for $37. Not only was she not trying to apply my gift card she charged the my fiancés card for $37. This seems like a huge scam and if I didn’t say anything/realize we’d be out $100. I will definitely let people know to watch out for this tactic and just know operating a business like this will eventually fail in a very nasty way. Stay shady!

My massage was fine, but there was a mishap with how much I was charged. I was told to give my refund a little while to hit my account, and it never was refunded. The gentleman I spoke to over the phone at the Clayton location was not interested in helping me, and very rude.

I have been coming to JP for a while now and every experience with her has been exceptional! Keep up the exceptional work JP

This massage envy charged my Health Savings Card for 2 years after I called to cancel during covid. There are no notes of my phone call in the system and the office was closed so you couldnt drop in. At this point, I knew that Id paid for 6 months or so without being seen and would have to eat that cost. (I was okay with that) Obviously due to covid the office was closed, I began to work at home so therefore the membership was no longer convenient, not to mention my doctor referred me to physical therapy instead. I called recently and the manager Mary K argued with me that I didnt check my HSA statements and why am I just now calling them back. I asked for contact info for the owner and she declined stating that she would talk with him and call me back (which she never did). She showed no compassion for me what so ever. Then after several conversations with her she first offered to refund the 2 months of this year, then she offered 6 months (out of good faith) and they would give me extra time to use the 2 years of visits etc.... All I wanted was for her to meet me have way. I knew that I would need to eat some of that cost because I signed a 1 year membership agreement. So I told her just refund me the 2 months of this year and all of 2021 and keep 2020 and the 6 months of 2019 because that was the year that covid struck hard. Needless to say I would not recommend this location!!!!!!I tried contacting the owner several times, with no response.

This place is amazing, it was my first time actually getting a massage and Shelly did great, she made sure I was comfortable and she did a great job getting the tension out of my back and neck. If I could, I’d leave a million stars for this place. I can’t wait to come back again soon.

I thoroughly enjoy my massages at Massage Envy! I have been going for over 5 years and have found the therapist who has unlocked so much pain physically and emotionally. Because we know the two are interconnected. If you want the same relief try them. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Peter. He is the best, hands down.

Staff very rude the front desk workers to be exact! I had a membership which was previously ran sometimes before the date of the renewal! This time I called I was told two different things and spoke with the General manager by the name of Lindsey who was super rude and unhelpful! She told me I was banned from her branches due to the fact she lacks knowledge about a membership process!

I have been a client since they first opened on Forsyth. Mary Kay does an excellent job managing this location and hires competent, friendly staff for the front desk, which is a must. Peter is my massage therapist that I request and he is beyond 5 stars. He tailors the massage to your needs at each visit. I highly recommend a membership and seeing Peter for a professional, relaxing experience.

Friendliest massage envy Ive ever been too. I was frustrated when I moved to the area and couldnt find a decent massage envy, until I tried this location. Ive now seen four different therapists at the Clayton location and each one was fantastic and highly skilled! Book early everyone books up fast here!

Really didnt appreciate being cancelled on twice, I asked to speak to a manager and never heard anything back. I have cancelled my membership, theres too much competition for poor costumer service.

Super upset with the quality of the message, I asked for a firm massage and honestly could barley feel any pressure. Halfway though the massage I built up the courage to ask her to use a little more pressure (as she had not asked me how the pressure was feeling at all) and she laughed at me. As a first timer here I will not be returning. Just felt like it was a waste of money.

This business is disappointing at best. After a few months of weekly massages, disappointing are my kindest words. My massages are wonderful! Cyretha is a dream in working with me to correct some back concerns. However, it seems that the front desk staff could benefit from additional training in answering basic program and policy questions. Overall, they are fine, although inconsistent, in asking if you need water, to use the restroom, how the massage was after a treatment, or if you want to leave a gratuity. If you have any questions or expect someone to perhaps care and kindly provide basic program or policy information, you might be consistently disappointed ... at least that has been my experience. I now understand I am either to find another place to fulfill my needs (although I really like Cyretha) or simply take time during the week to talk with the manager if and / or when I have basic program and policy questions. Again, my experiences are disappointing at best. I provided a 3 out of 5 as a way to show kindness.

After trying out a few massage therapists at this Clayton location, Bill is the best ever! I highly recommend him for his great service. He continually meets and surpasses all of my expectations.

The people are very professional and the massages are excellent. Usually during the holidays and Mothers Day they usually have great deals, thats when I normally go. Im never disappointed. The atmosphere is awesome!

First off I called to schedule an appointment and said I wanted a deep tissue massage and asked to be put with someone who was great in that area. They scheduled me with a therapist that just returned back to work on Tuesday. Today is Thursday and from a wrist injury. So therefore she said she couldn’t do a firm as she use to when I requested firm. Then she comes back in after I undress and asks if I’m allergic to latex bc she has to wear gloves because her cat scratched her. She was nice but defiantly not the massage i requested. I defiantly will not be returning

My boyfriend and I took a mini vacay to STL from Tennessee, and we decided to book a deep tissue massage while here. Cyrethia was my massage therapist, and she did a 100% magnificent job, hands down. She found knots I didnt know existed and was not afraid to apply as much pressure as needed to knead them out. She was laid back, easy to talk to, funny, and knowledgeable. I walked out of there knowing Id be the good kind of sore the next day, and I sure was! And I got a lot done, because I felt like I could move! She also convinced me I need to maintain these muscles with regular massage, because we only get one body. Such a sweet, loving soul. HIGHLY recommend for deep tissue massage.

Ive gone to both Justin and Jeremy for 60-minute massages, and both of them are excellent! Very responsive to firmness requirements and which areas needed the most attention. Will definitely be returning to them.

Beware dishonest business practices. Do NOT believe any offer they make concerning a free massage for becoming a member. The owner deliberately deceived me into paying for a second massage.After my first massage, the cashier/owner asked me if I wanted to become a member, stating explicitly that becoming a member would get me a free massage. I told her that I could not afford to be a member, but she insisted that I could get a free massage even if I cancelled the membership before using it. So I agreed and she scheduled my free massage that day.I showed up for the appointment, enjoyed the massage, only to be told afterwards that there were no free massages. Not only did the cashier lie to me, she had also scheduled me for a longer massage that cost more money than the original.This was a horrible experience and I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this business.

If you want a truly therapeutic and professional deep tissue massage, Margo is the best in town! She implements her understanding of skeletal muscle physiology and myofascial release techniques into her treatments.

This place....wow. First I called to make our appointment for 4:30. Then a day or 2 later they called back and asked if er could make it there at 4:00, I said sure, we will do our best, if were a little late is that ok? She said it would be ok, it was not okay, we got there at like 4:20, paid for a swedish massage that I didnt get. The lady concentrated on my shoulder muscle alot, I dont know if she was who triggered my nerve damage the next day or the concert I went to that night. We did not get a full hour because we werent there by 4 and they quit at exactly 5 oclock. Never again

Hit or miss on massages or facials. I have had some absolutely wonderful massages and the worst massage of my life. (It included a woman playing with her phone, listening to some podcast blaring so loud that I could hear it, and telling me she didn’t believe in covid).I hate to have that overshadow my good massages but it really is.When it comes to facials, I have had pretty good ones. They do try to oversell you on products. I have bought quite a few things and I have to say that the Jan Marini skincare line has been the worst. I broke out in hives on my neck and face. For the money, much better to go to a derm spa for better products. Their exfoliate works decently but that is it. The moisturizer is the worst.

I somehow got double booked at this location after i already had a massage that week. When i tried to call and tell them i did not book that appointment they still charged me for the session. the management there is horrible! I will not be returning and canceling my membership

Lovely atmosphere. Both massage therapists that Ive seen at this location (Sharon and Kristen) was WONDERFUL, tailored my session to my needs, and made me feel at ease.

I visited for the first time yesterday. Im very impressed with the staff and the facility as a whole. Its the best Massage Envy that I have ever visited and Ive been to MEs in Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina!

Chris gave me the best deep tissue massage Ive had in years. I dont even want to post this review because I dont want him to get so busy that I cant get an appointment.

I got a facial and it was great. The esthetician was very informative on somethings that i could use on my face. I also get massages there and Im always feeling great when i leave.

Smh no TLC, therapist was a sweet lady but everybody else, not so much... no alternative oils so I left WITHOUT a massage on my birthday👎🏽... not returning & not referring

I previously came here to see Trevor for quite a while. The small treatment rooms can be a little stuffy, but overall it was always a pleasant experience.

This location is my favorite in the St. Louis area. I prefer it over the St. Charles and Kirkwood locations. The staff are very polite and speak softly.
