I feel like this place is way underrated. I know it has good reviews here, but I mean in general. I know from now on I will try and get the word out. My wife and I booked a 90 minute massage yesterday and it was wonderful. Ive been here 3 or 4 times before and every visit was great. But I felt like this visit was on another level. Maybe it was the extra time because I have never tried a 90 minute before. The staff is incredibly nice. We were late for our appointment (of course we were...sorry to the therapist as we were the last clients of the night and delayed them going home...so sorry for that) but they acted as if it wasnt an issue. With their heated beds and music that they play in your ear the whole experience is so awesome. Not only is the bed heated but it also vibrates. With all the those factors at one point I felt like I was in the video game Bejeweled. And when the music slows down and the nature sounds take over you feel like youre in a mystical forest in a far away place called magic land. I wish I could remember the names of our therapist but I cant. But again, I havent had a bad experience here yet. As my wife and I left yesterday we started talking about how we both feel this place is a hidden gem. So I am writing this to hopefully get them at least one or two new customers. Not that I feel like they need help. But my wife and I wondered aloud why we dont hear about this place more often. Theyve been here a while now so I don;t think they are hurting. Anyway I highly recommend Sound Stone Massage. Go there. Youll love it.

I always look forward to my spa days on my vacations. I experienced the stone massage and highly recommend therapist Thomas. He is experienced, professional & talented. The entire staff were friendly & made us feel comfortable. They cover all your senses from touch, smell, hear & site. They provided an eye mask, head phones with calming sleep noise & soothing sounds. What a relaxing & wonderful experience! We highly recommend this spa, you won’t be disappointed!

I have had a lot of spa treatments and a lot of different places locally and internationally. This was the best experience Ive ever had! I had the stone facial, Stone Massage, body wrap and foot reflexology. Emma was amazing

Save yourself some time, engery and money. The communication and scheduling is horrible. I was contacted 3 times about my appointment changing the times. I then confirmed via text. I again spoke with the location and confirmed. over night my appointment was canceled. This was a birthday gift to myself. On the way to the appointment Jackie the manager called and said a store employee canceled my appointment. No one ever called. No compassion a refund was all that was offered no. Im trying to not let this get the best of me but very disappointed in this place. I will also do a video posting all the services I booked and interactions with this location. I have now been to Sound Stone twice and it is fantastic! Both times I have received the Be Stone 60 minute massage, and was highly impressed both times. I have had massages from Jessica and Amy. With this place, when they say a massage is one hour, you really get one hour of massage time! The headphones with New Age music, eye mask, and vibrating massage table really make the massage experience here absolutely amazing! Staff are friendly and willing to adjust the massage experience to your personal preferences. Pricing is reasonable, and includes aromatherapy oils. Definitely recommend this spa for your relaxation needs!Update: I have been coming to Sound Stone for a few years now and I have had nothing but fantastic experiences with every staff member and therapist Ive encountered. Haley is especially wonderful and does a great job with both massages and facials.Update #2: Its now 2024 and Ive been coming here regularly (at least a few times a year) for 6+ years. Massages are always great and staff is always professional and courteous. Haley is my go-to therapist and I always recommend this place (and her in particular!) to friends and colleagues who are looking for somewhere to get a good-quality massage.

Just tried to call this business to book an appointment 10 days ahead of time for a couples massage and the woman on the phone stated she wont be able to fit us in that day. For charging $270 for a 90 minute massage I guess they wont mind missing out on a 50% tip per person. I wont even bother trying them out for a first time visit again. First impression says a lot. Disappointed I cant rate a 0 star.

Honestly my favorite massage place in St. Louis and todays visit was no exception. I love the sensory deprivation which help me to relax instead of my mind going a mile a minute. And my facial was also relaxing and my skin feels great. HIGHLY recommend!!

I enjoyed my experience here, my massage was great and the sound table and ear phones really add a deeper sense of relaxation. Thomas was my massage therapist and the massage was very relaxing. I recommend you go if you need a peaceful time out.

First time to visit. Wasnt sure what to expect. When you walk through the doors, the front desk and waiting area are set up nicely, very clean and shelves with products displayed nice. Had a hot stone massage by Hayley. It felt fantastic. The temperature of the stones, the oils and the pressure applied were all great. Yes I would recommend. Cant wait to get my facial with Hayley in a couple of weeks.

We did the Valentine’s Day couples package. It was way more than I expected! We had Angie and another lady, both very skilled, attentive to our needs and felt very relaxed. That was our first time having a hot stone massage and we had a really nice experience. They gave up champagne brûlée once we got in our room, headphones with relaxing music during our massages, and also gave us a nice little give bag when we were leaving. All in all I give them 5/5! One of the best massages I ever had and will be returning.

This was mind blowing. My boyfriend and I got the 90min Valentine’s Day couples massage and amazing is an understatement. First, their customer service was outstanding. Jackie was so amazing on the phone helping fit us into their busy schedule over Valentine’s Day weekend. And the staff is very kind and welcoming. The massage was amazing. Chelsey and Jen did such a good job. We never wanted it to end. I highly recommend this place!

My friend and I booked the Half Day Getaway. It was hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had. Maya was our esthetician and Angelique was our massage therapist. These ladies are stellar at their craft and Im so grateful I was able to be on the receiving end of thier gifts. What a beautiful experience!

Visited for the first time today for a prenatal massage I was gifted. Hayley went above and beyond to work on my targeted areas and I was in relaxation heaven. The gentle vibration from the table, mixed with the ambient lighting, and headphones made for the perfect serene getaway. I would HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone but especially pregnant women as they’re one of the only places in the area with the special pregnancy massage table that allows you to lie comfortably on your stomach for the entire service if you prefer. They are also very reasonable on their prices, staff is extremely kind and professional. I will most definitely be back!

I have horrible pain in my left shoulder. I wrote this on the paperwork in 3 different places. I also verbally told my therapist. It was not even touched during the massage at all. I was so excited to try this place, and it was a huge disappointment. The massage was just okay, but for the price, they didnt address my needs. As a result I have to call someone else today. Not the best money spent. The stones are nice, the headphones are nice, but if you arent used to them, it might freak you out. Plus the therapist kept removing one to ask me how I was doing, which took away from the experience. The full body was nice, but I would have loved the whole time spent on my shoulder. I get they want to push the relaxation, but some people have certain areas that need more attention. The other thing was the oil he used was nice, but he kept rubbing my head with it, and kind of tousling my hair. I looked like a greasy headed monster by the time I left, my boyfriend asked me if my hair was wet. I wanted to try a facial next time, but the products they offer arent the best. Good for 1 visit, other than that, I wont be back.

This place is a joke. 20 minutes into my massage, Hayley ran out of the room saying she was so sick and threw up. The last 10 minutes she was sniffling so much I felt extremely uncomfortable and honestly it was just weird. There were no stones, headphones, or vibration on the table used. While they didn’t charge me, I still wanted to warn everyone. They let sick people work and in turn, gave me a stomach bug! It was a huge waste of time and they offered me a free service which included no massage, just sitting in the dark room to “relax” RUN FAST

DO NOT GET PRENATAL, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.This place is a joke. I wanted a real massage not where they use the stones. One, because the stones are way to hot and two because they don’t even feel good. They charged me $10 extra to not use stones?!?I scheduled a 60 min prenatal massage. At 32 weeks pregnant this place looked appealing because they have an actual pregnancy pillow that allows you to lay on your stomach due to the support from the pillow. My appointment was at 2pm, I didn’t leave the lobby to go back to the room until 2:10 then you go in room they tell you how to lay and leave you to get get undressed then come back in and get themself situated before beginning the massage. My massage didn’t start until approximately 2:15-2:20. She then was finished and I was dressed and back in the lobby by 3:05. That is NOT a 60 min massage that’s like a 45 min massage. So not only did I schedule a 60 min massage and only got 45, I also had to pay $10 more for not wanting stones used (which should actually be less as the stones should be an addition) but I’m also pretty sure the massage therapist didn’t understand the whole prenatal massage. The support pillow is great however it takes away the purpose of it when the massage therapist is putting a large amount of pressure on your back by just pushing down instead of actually massaging. Not to mention she asked me to roll over and lay on my back, at 32 weeks pregnant you cannot lay flat on your back (someone trained to do a prenatal massage should know this) so I had to explain to her that I couldn’t lay on my back like that.Will not use them again. Do not recommend. Cheated out of a good massage and $85 while pregnant and horribly sore is very frustrating.

I love Sound Stone so much! I have become a regular customer and want to specifically compliment my favorite massage therapist ever: Angie!! I truly cant recommend her highly enough. Angie is truly a gift to this industry and I am so grateful for her. I have a tendency to get anxious about getting massages because I find myself feeling self-conscious, but this is not the case with Angie. She makes you feel so comfortable and you can feel how passionate she is about her art. She is incredibly gifted and has so much natural talent. I could rave about her all day! She has become a pillar of my self-care routine!

I received second degree burns on my chest and bruising under my arm from a stone massage here. I highly recommend you avoid this place. I spoke with the manager twice, and she saw the blisters and did nothing to remedy. Ive added a photo from the day of, a week later and currently so you can see what my experience was. Not only are the massage therapists poorly trained and managed, but they have poor business practices when issues do arise.

Ive been having massages at various spas in the St. Louis area for many years. However, I have been going to Sound Stone Massage Spa now since October 2017 and this massage salon is BY FAR the best I have ever been to. I highly recommend my therapist Jen!! Love her. The hot stone massage is wonderful, and I especially enjoy the focused massage where they work on the specific areas that I request...like my neck, shoulders, scalp, and feet. The salon is small, quiet, clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. Its a great experience that I look forward to every month!!!!

First time visiting this spa and drove 30 minutes to get there as it was highly recommended to me. I have been to many spas over the years and this was the BEST! I was able to relax quickly which is hard for me to do. The music, atmosphere and staff were amazing. Darlene gave me the best facial I have ever had. Usually facials aren’t relaxing to me but I was more relaxed during my facial than when I’ve had massages at other places. Would highly recommend this spa!

My fiance and I had our first ever couples massage here at Sound Stone Massage! The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Weve never had a massage where hot stones were incorporated so it was nice that both Jen and Jackie explained to us everything that we were going to experience in our hour that we were there.Id highly recommend this business to anyone who wants to try something new and feel relaxed!

Relaxing, rejuvenating massage/treatments at reasonable prices. I’ve had three massages here so far and the quality is always amazing. The lobby is inviting and comfortable and the hot stone massages are so relaxing. The oils used smell great.The headphones with calming music are a great touch to really immerse you in the experience.

Ive been going here for a year now, best experience ever, all the ladies/gents are so kind and make you feel so relaxed. Im not picky about who does my massages/facials but J. Darlene did my last facial and it was bomb. Would highly recommend, they are also super good with scheduling you and are understanding about cancellations.

My girlfriend got us a couples massage as an anniversary gift. All I can say is WOW. The staff is super friendly, the shop is clean, and the entire experience was wonderful. The temperature of the stones was perfect - not too hot. Both of us chose medium pressure and both of our masseuses were spot on. The somewhat surreal experience with the sound tables was very cool and VERY relaxing. Ill be taking us back next month!

I love treating myself by coming here for a massage! I have had three different massage therapists and can say that each one of them has done a wonderful job. What really makes me enjoy Sound Stone more than other massage spas are the headphones. With the headphones, I am able to escape from reality for a bit and enter a completely relaxed state. If you havent been to Sound Stone Massage Spa yet, you need to make an appointment ASAP because is it truly amazing!

Best massage Ive had, I get, legitimately. This spa is totally unique in their equipment and style. I had Aleigh as my therapist and she was able to change her massage style halfway through to better service my tightness without me having to say anything explicitly. No pressure for tipping or purchasing products. Will definitely go again

This was my first massage so I went with my best friend. We were running really late and the staff was very understanding of the situation. Now thats great customer service. The massage was also very relaxing. I loved the hot rocks and the wave table the most though. I recommend Sound and Stone Massage Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing environment, friendly staff, professionalism, and great massage!

First I want to thank my son and his girlfriend for giving us this awesome gift for Christmas. What a great couples massage my wife and I had today. It was the best one we ever had. The headphone music, aromatherapy, the warm stones and the massage let’s you leave all the busyness of life and relax. This is the best I have felt in a long time. We highly recommend it. It is worth every cent. Connor and Susan were excellent. Thank you so much. This would be great for yourself or for a gift. We plan on going back. My children can expect this for a gift sometime soon.

Visited today for the second. I live roughly 2 hours away so I dont frequent often but it is SO worth the drive when I do. Best massage Ive ever had from ANYWHERE hands down! My MT today was Darlene. She was wonderful. Let me know what was happening every step of the way, worked out all problem areas per what was written on my intake form. Today I had a massage, hydration wrap and mani/pedi. Left feeling like a whole new person. I love the sound wave table, headphones and eye mask combination which help you tune out the outside world and completely relax. I cannot say enough good things about the massage. Customer service is great all around as well. I initially requested a service they dont offer and had several questions the initial woman couldnt answer so she had the owner call me back to assist me which I really appreciated. And while they didnt offer the exfoliation service I was looking for, they added in a dry brush service before dehydration wrap which I had know idea about until I arrived and the MT was going over my selected services. It was nice to feel they did their absolute best to accommodate what I was looking for. Ill definitely be back for a 3rd...and 4th...and 5th...visit!!!

The massage had too much stopping. I got dressed to leave no one was around or at the front, it was really awkward and made me feel uncomfortable. The place was clean tho, but that was a bad experience and my girlfriend got it for me for my birthday it really was a let down.The other people low reviews sound like my visit. They spent long time on my feet. I think they 5star was giving something save your time and money DONT go here

I have been here many times for pedicures, manicures, and massages. Sound Stone has such a soothing atmosphere and experienced staff. I recently had a focused massage by ALeigh (pronounced Allie). She was so intuitive and able to focus on the areas where I had issues. I described an issue in the middle of my shoulder but she was able to find the root cause of the issue, which was in my neck. Its possible to have a good massage from someone not as skilled and not know youre missing anything until youve had a massage from someone like ALeigh. I would highly recommend her to everyone. Youll wont walk away disappointed.

Kristin is AMAZING! My first experience here was pure bliss. They give you headphones with oceanic sounds and the ambiance is like a vacation on a beach with sound tracks. I had been moving heavy objects while moving out of my apartment, but my body was completely sore and broken down. After my Focus Relief 60 minute massage with the hot stones, I felt so much better! All kinks were gone! Ill be back soon!

This is the best style of massage I have had in St. Louis. My girlfriend and I have been to several outfits, and sound stone continues to be truly relaxing. I didnt realize how much atmosphere would matter to me, as I usually dont care about stuff like that. However, after going to a few other places and experiencing some strange things, I enjoy the consistency that Sound Stone offers. Always professional. The prices are just a little higher than a bargain place, because its not a bargain place. It is of quality. I get massages every now and again, and its nice to know I wont be wasting my money and Ill leave happy!

I am a RN and had had a really rough day off going to the doctor fir myself and on top of that my mother fell. I called Sound Stone to see if I could get in and there were no appointments available and the scheduler said I think we can get you in at 4.I have had many massages and massage therapists over the years; however AJ is one of the kindest most personable people I have ever met anywhere (the entire staff is awesome) , This is one of the most therapeutic and relaxing experiences I’ve ever had.AJ helped soothe my aches, pains, and tension, so my day ended up a lot better than it started out!!

OUTSTANDING work!!!! As a mother,sister and aunt I’m busy! I had to make the time to relax and it was so worth it!! Sound stone was definitely a place that was calm, relaxing and visually a very warm place to walk into. I can’t explain how elegant the rooms are & the table and the vibrations of it. Do yourself a huge favor and book a massage!!!

I can no longer mess with the massage chains. I dont want a quick in and out service with minimal results. I gave up on finding a good massage in a pleasant environment until my friend told me about Sound Stone Massage Spa. I have been twice and will go back. I loved the hot/cold stone massage on the sound table. That was my first visit. On the second visit I tried the Thai Bodywork Massage. Awesome! Ask for the best and youll get the best.

Their communication was superb from the time I inquired all the way until I checked out. Amanda was extremely caring, attentive, and patient. Thomas was my therapist and he was very warm, welcoming, and comforting. I felt safe, welcomed, and quite loved during my visit.

I would give zero stars if I could as I could not be more horrified by my experience here.I took my mom to get a massage for her birthday. We were 5 minutes late because of traffic which I immediately apologized for upon walking in. Everything seemed fine until Haley came out and tried to rush us back with a huge attitude. My Mom was still filling out paperwork and wanted to read the information sheet of what to expect. Haley exasperatedly and aggressively told us that they would go over the sheet in the back. (My mom is the kind of person to read for herself and this wouldn’t have taken but maybe 5 more minutes.) Haley had extreme sarcasm and contempt in her voice when she said it was okay and to read it ourselves even though they would go over it (she said that 3 times, speaking to us as if we were children).My Mom addressed her attitude (because who would want someone with a rude spirit right off the bat working on them) and she remained extremely combative in her explanation that we were late to our appointment.I stepped in because she was excessively berating my Mom to the point that I said there is no reason to be a b****. From there we were thrown out.I asked for an email confirmation from Amanda, who was also extremely combative and rude, had an aggressive tone of voice and openly mocked me when I asked for her name. She then threatened to call the police on us if we did not leave. All I wanted was an email stating I would not be charged. She said I would get an email that I would not be charged. I asked for the owner’s information and called Jackie who has not yet returned my phone call.This was about an hour ago and I am still waiting for that email confirmation.I cannot imagine a business treating customers about to drop $600 on two spa days in the manner that we were treated. I will happily take my business elsewhere and I would encourage anyone planning a visit here to avoid it like the plague to go somewhere else.

I recently received the Thai Massage at Sound Stone Massage Spa. This was the best massage I have ever received!! I have had many massages in my time and this rated among the best ever! I love the stone massages and have had several in this spa. The spa itself is just lovely, comfortable, private, very clean with a low key staff. I have received massages and been in spas all over the world, this place is among the best!

Was given a form to fill out and verbally discussed with my masseuse what areas and what amounts of pressure I was looking for. The masseuse completely ignored both and spent more time massaging my feet and hands, than the areas I requested. She also ignored my initial request for firm pressure and 3 further requests for additional pressure. To add insult to injury I paid an additional $10 fee to upgrade my massage to a deep tissue massage. I was excited that their website advertised that their 60 minute massages were actually 60 minutes (which it was), however, at least a 1/4 of the time the masseuse was elsewhere in the room (couldnt see but i assume heating the stones?). Just go to a chain, you will get a much better massage for the same if not cheaper price.Though I personally would give this one star based on my massage experience, I am giving it two because my girlfriend, who also recieved a massage that day, said hers was decent. Still cant help but to feel ripped off.

I choose to book off the reviews of this place, but everyone must have been promised something to give them 5 stars. My husband and I went and were extremely disappointed. We will never go back or recommend this company to anyone.1. The Massage Therapists that we had asked us what we would like to focus on and then during the massage didn’t hardly touch those areas.2. I feel like the bass was up way too much and felt like I was getting sea sick, fyi I am pregnant also which only made the vibrations worse.3. The MT didn’t ever ask if her pressure was ok or ask questions during the massage besides am I comfortable because I was lying on a pregnancy pillow on my stomach.I have had many massages and this is by far the worst experience we have ever received. I usually wouldn’t leave a bad review, but the front desk coordinator didn’t even blink an eye when we told her how we felt. Terrible lack of customer service! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Sound Stone Massage is a constant on my list of FAVORITE places, the very best massages by the nicest people. I have constant joint pain but whenever I leave here I walk out like I never had pain at all. WOW is all I can say. Try them and you will see exactly what I am talking about, youll love it as well.

I would give them a zero if it existed. I got an email that there were last minute openings at 1p and 430 and immediately left a message and was called back and hung up on accidentally, I presume. I called back and confirmed my 430p for an hour. I showed up and was told by the young lady at the counter that I was not on the calendar. I wasted and hour of my time and gas! That is no way to do business and I will never return. There was a similar review on yelp just a month earlier. I told them to take me out of their system and email.

I had a 90 minute face and body massage. The face part I thought would be like an actual facial, but it was not even a mini facial. It was just some lotion rubbed around on my face then on to the body. I dont really know what the therapist was doing during the massage time. Maybe 15 minutes was actually spent with hands on me. The rest of time it just sounded like she was playing with the stones or rolling them around in the pan. I dont know. It was the worst massage ever. As a rule, if you are going to spend that much money then you kinda expect to get your moneys worth. I didnt say anything at the time because I also had my sister there for a massage as a gift for her birthday. She said her massage was great. So, I dont know but I feel a bit swindled. Needless to say, I wont be going back there. It was a huge disappointment and extremely overpriced.

My friend and I went in to the spa for a relaxing girls afternoon. We looked all over St. Louis and we decided on Sound Stone. Their website looked good and prices were very fair- the packages looked fantastic so we decided to call and schedule for the following day. It took me 25 minutes to book our appointments- no joke. The woman seemed very confused and I brushed it off as that she was probably just new to the system or something.We waited for about 10 minutes upon arrival and were taken into a room together where we were told the same woman would be doing our pedicures and manicures. The woman went from my feet back to my friends hands and back and forth. It was extremely unsanitary! Also, the woman seemed very flighty and confused. She couldnt even remember if she put a top coat on my toes. And she did not stop talking the entire time-at about 100 miles an hour. They put you in these really uncomfortable chairs that DO NOT massage or anything and then soak your feet in a metal tub. They explained this was for sanitary reasons but the water went cold really quickly and it was extremely UN-enjoyable. Save your money and get a mani/pedi at place at the mall!Then it was time for our stone massages. We waited 45 minutes between our nail appointment and massage appointment. We were told we would go from one appointment to the next immediately. We booked one of the packages that was for people who wanted to experience a stone massage for the first time. We understood it was for 45 minutes and would only cost $55. The prices on the website were broken down to trick you into thinking youre getting this great deal. Dont fall for it! The massages were okay. I wasnt blown away though. Gross alert!- my friends massage therapist smelled like she wasnt clean down there if you know what I mean. Literally the most disgusting thing to experience when being massaged!So, once our massages were over, we went out to pay our bills. They have lots of products in front and the owner was talking to someone else so we looked around a bit. One of the shelves had all the aroma therapy scents, used in the massages, for sale. The price tag said $9.50 and I thought that was great so I decided to purchase it. After the owner told me my total, I was confused as it was MUCH more than it should have been. While my friend was paying, I looked at my receipt and saw that the owner charged me $19.00 for the aroma therapy spray, $70 for the massage (shouldve been $55) and $5.00 more than the website said for the pedicure. I pointed out the mistake for the aroma therapy spray and she said, Um, no, thats not correct. I explained that I would not have purchased it for $19.00 and she said, Um, how about $12? Because Im an idiot, I accepted her haggling.My friend and I left silently angry but when we got out the car, we discussed the whole experience and I just became angrier by the second so I went back in to confront the owner about the over-charges. The prices on the website are wrong or the owner/manager just tries to pull one over on you and sees if you notice. Well, we noticed and she tried every excuse in the book as to why that happened. The owner ended up refunding us for part of the massage and some of the pedicure but it wasnt enough because our day was ruined.Also, we were told we would be out at 4pm so we booked an appointment at a Bridal Shop for 5pm. We did not even get out of the spa until 5:30 and then I had to go back in to deal with the ridiculous over-charge.Absolute worst experience ever! Dont waste your time or money!!These people are unprofessional and try to take advantage of their clients.

Ive never had a massage before. I work all the time but I never take time to do much for myself. I actually got my wife the 6 hour package for Valentines day so I got to see the tables, stones, room etc. Hearing how much she enjoyed it I started saying I want to try. Again I dont do anything for myself so she got me a 1 hour voucher for my birthday. Now 6 months later I used it. Guess what... I feel like a complete moron for not doing this sooner. I was so sad when it was over. Im going to take time out at least to come here. If your reading this and your thinking about going... stop think and GO! The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere from the time you walk in is magnificent. I know you dont know me but trust me on this one.

Even though this was my first Professional Massage unlike from my previous College experiences Ill rate this establishment and the massage therapist (Jenn) with excellence... She informed me with knowledge and details prior to every step but the outcome was certainly surprising and only left me to say WOW that was amazing!!!

Really enjoy the massage here, theres good consistency between therapists.Unfortunately on my latest visit there seemed to be an issue with scheduling. Right after I scheduled a next day visit, I got a text asking if I could move it a half an hour later. Ok, fine, no problem. Then on the day of the massage, I get a call and a text from the therapist asking if I can move out another half hour back. I was able to decline but it just seems pointless to have an appointment if Im going to have to field multiple requests to change the time. Hopefully this was a one-off occurrence because I havent had this issue before.

I had such an amazing experience at sound stone. Hayley was extremely thorough and made me feel entirely relaxed. Ill be booking with her again soon. Highly recommend, she is an angel 😊

Always an excellent massage, no matter what you get. Their prenatal massage is great, and they have the table that lets you lay face down. I havent had a bad experience in the 3 years Ive been going.

My bf got me a head2toe package for my birthday, all I wanted to do was show up and enjoy. A few days before they confirmed by both calling and texting. I like that I can be reached a few different waysI showed up today, filled out a little paper work and met with Summer. She explained everything she was going to do, asked if I had any problem areas and any questions. She started with a facial which I had never had before. It was awesome! The music was soft and relaxing, the light vibrations of the table helped me escape and relax. After my facial she worked on my legs and then my feet. The hot stones are just hot enough. She replaced them often so they didnt lose their heat. After that she moved on to my arms then finished with my back. It was wonderful and I will be going back! Ask for Summer!

Do yourself a favor and just book an appointment! The entire experience is AMAZING! Hands down the best massage ever. The massage bed has soft low pulsing vibrations as you get a massage! Oh my goddddddd ❤ I moved to Kansas City but if theres one place I miss in St Louis it is Sound Stone Massage!

I have never had a bad experience at this spa. Everything is reasonably priced for the high-quality products that are used. The specialized massage tables and headphones allow you to be completely immersed in the relaxing music. I highly recommend visiting Mia for a hot stone massage and facial stone clenz!

Absolutely adore this establishment. I usually come here 3 times a year (cause im too busy) and i have only 1 not so great massage (i think they were trying a newbie out). The way the experience is designed is pure heaven. Lie onto a lightly vibrated table with very comfortable headphones that make you tune out everything. I do alot of meditation during the session and the design helps. The work they do is beautiful. Consistent, thoughtful, and privately tailor your experiences. I have very specific pain but also just want to relax and not dig into my issues. They customize each move for that. Ive gone to ither places, just not the same. I will always keep this my number 1 spot. You get FULL 60 minute massage, not that lane 50 from those commercial places. I used to have Patrick which gave me a very spiratual experience. He matched my chakra needs to my massages. He is now gone doing work on a mission but i now have Hayley which was exactly what i needed. She is tiny yet mighty! Thanks Hayley! Your routine and care makes the world if difference. You dint forget a spot and cater to everything i needed. I had a sunburn, fractured toe, ticklish, and sneezy. She designed the routine to accommadte all of it!

Thank you for the Wonderful experience @ Sound Stone Massage Studio. My Massage administered by Ben was Amazing and I have never experienced the level of relaxation it provided. Ben was gentle and had the perfect touch to provide maximum relaxation. The ambience in the room was perfect. It was memorable and I anticipate having another experience just like it. My Manicurist Tina was also Amazing along with good conversation. I recently had Corporal Tunnel Surgery and this was my first Manicure afterwards, Tina was gentle and administered the most theraputic hand massage ever imagined. I throughly enjoyed the whole entire experience and have recommended such to my family & friends. The staff was hospitable and nurturing making for a memorable lasting impression that must be shared with everyone. I look forward to another visit soon. Thank you everyone.

Went here for a couples massage. OMG.Imagine you are floating in a calm sea, sound waves lapping gently at your ears, lovely scents tickling your nose, warm touch massaging your limbs. This is Sound Stone.The scent of the oils, the music via headphones, the gently rumbling bed, the hot stones, everything was perfect. My boyfriend and I left feeling very relaxed and happy. Our masseurs (Doug Boyd and Katie Gaulden) were outstanding, I highly recommend them. The owner is also very friendly and we had a nice chat with her. My only gripe is that is it rather a far drive from my house! I wish it were closer to mid town St Louis :)

Haley did a superb job! I came into the spa tired, tense, and feeling rundown. Haley worked all of the tension away and I left feeling lighter, completely relaxed, and ready to start the following week! I will definitely be booking again!

This was pathetic. Neither myself nor my girlfriend would ever go back to this place. Shes a former massage therapist, and in general, not a complainer. She hated it, and so did I.They asked what we wanted them to work on... we were very specific. During my massage, not one moment was dedicated to the muscles I told my therapist to emphasize.The worst part was that at no point was any pressure applied when I specifically said I wanted deep tissue and even spoke up during the massage, saying, You really can apply a lot more pressure...What I got was nothing more vigorous than what I experience when I put on sun screen. Simply hands rubbing, in this case, oil all over my body. Nothing more. It was disgusting.Dont bother, its a tremendous waste of money. The hot stones might be beneficial if they had any clue what they were doing, but they dont, so in this case... theyre a gimmick. Go to massage envy and get a massage. This place is a complete waste of time, and a total sham.

Absolutely wonderful environment!!! Had my first massage ever and it was the most comfortable experience. They were very accomodating with me being 34 weeks pregnant and it was still amazing. Will definitely be going back

I dont know how to describe this experience, perhaps transcendental. I felt at times I was floating,moving through space, zoned, carried...such an experience in my opinion. You must go. Everyone made me comfortable, informative and attentive. Simply amazing.

I love this place you can get exactly what you need with package deals that are affordable. Every staff member is professional and they give you all your time and sometimes a bit more when not busy!! Jessica and Summer are awesome for medium pressure, hot stone, reflexology and massage.

We really enjoy this place, but since covid it isnt the same. I think they may be short staffed and they have a really hard time with electronic transactions. Amanda always takes care of us. We love her!
