I just had the most hilarious and amazing couple’s massage at Sunshine Massage! The deep tissue treatment was like a miracle worker on my muscles, but the real star of the show was the butt massage. I’m not sure what I expected, but I definitely didn’t expect to be laughing out loud! Who knew my glutes could provide so much comic relief? My partner and I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and with a newfound appreciation for the art of massage…and comedy! Highly recommend for both relaxation and a good chuckle!

These girls are great. This is the closest I could find that’s closest to a Thai massage. Ive been to Thailand and have had some great massages.I’ve tried many different massage places over the years and these girls give a good massage and are professional. They always get me in right away when I call.

When I got there the lady was wearing a mask and I couldnt tell. She was Asian also and said she was Coco. I had only seen her once 3 months ago so I believed her. She gave me a massage and it wasnt nearly as good. As I was leaving I saw her without a mask. It wasnt her! Im very mad! she lied right to my face, i think she was the manager. I will talk to her about it.If u go there and ask for Coco she is very young, maybe early 20s. Manager was 40ish. DO NOT LET HER TELL U SHE IS COCO

The best massage ever! Tina worked on me for an hour, I wish I had more time because I could’ve spent two hours there. I got CBD oil and she even cracked my back and gave me a good stretch!next time I’m going to book 2 hours

A very annoying woman is standing at the cash register.Very rude and forcefully asks for tip.Women who come to the room for massage stop the massage and ask for a tip.She keeps leaving the room and talking on the phone so 60 minutes becomes 30 minutes but you pay for 60 minutes.Definitely dont go, dont waste your time And money.

I read through the reviews and thought to myself there is no way someone would actually belch and fart while giving a massage... oh was I wrong... I booked a couples massage and Im so glad it wasnt my wifes first experience with a massage or she would have never got a massage again! If you have ever been to a real spa or massage place they generally have heated tables, blankets you lay under, only expose the area being massages, you pay once your service is completed. This place makes you pay before receiving your massage probably because once you get to the room your like what?!? and would most likely walk out! They have a table and give you a towel to cover up with... literally a small bath towel. So as this so called massage starts... they switch to using a partial sheet and only massage with their elbows mean while they were both belching and farting!!! Fully removing the small sheet multiple times, crawling onto the table with you...oh while someone else opens the door and comes in while your personal belongings are just sitting in a chair while your face down... This was by far the worst experience I have ever had... Besides making you extremely uncomfortable, they also make you need a massage from your so called massage... Never again...

Tina used a technique in massage that had me feeling amazing when I was done. I had the Swedish Massage. I didnt want it to end. Very respectful, professional, and a great experience. LOVED Lamplighter Square, St. Louis

I called asking if they took walk-ins and they stated they preferred appointments so I made an appointment for 4 pm. We showed up at 3:50 and the lady said to us Oh sorry, we werent busy so your lady went home. Can you change to 4:40? Im not sure if they understand what it means to have appointments but I will never try coming here again. There was no offer for a discount if we try to come back. All the lady said was sorry.Update: They texted me later and offered 20% off. We went back the next day (made sure to call before we went to confirm) The massage we received was very good. Will return but always call to confirm before going.

Took me and my girlfriend here and got a couples massage for 2 hours. They were nice, friendly, had a few laughs with us, and even offered to do the hot stone massage for a little bit, even though that wasnt the package we paid for. They went above and beyond and really deserve more than 5 stars. Will definitely recommend this place to others!

Do not go here. VERY unprofessional! They do not honor scheduled appointments. Absolutely unacceptable. Dont waste your time with these people. Also poor English. My appointment (couples massage) was pushed back an hour because someone else extended there appointment time. I left because clearly they didnt appreciate my time or business. There are too many other higher quality spas to put up with their level of unprofessional. And the only reason they received a star from me. Is because you have to leave at least one star to make a post.

Such a wonderful first massage, a couples session with my mom! Might even go so far as to say my favorite massage in my 32 years of life! It’s very clean and the massage therapists were wonderful! The prices are very reasonable.

My regular massage therapist place is still closed. Never been to an Asian massage but decided to try since they are open. Great massage! I felt comfortable and relaxed. As a woman it is hard to find a good massage and still feel relaxed. A bit of a language barrier but not hard to deal with like others say. They were very patient and took directions very well. Will definitely go back again soon.

It was okay, I guess. I got a 60 min deep tissue massage 💆🏾‍♀️but in the midst of it, I heard my massager burping, her stomach was growling, she kept answering the phone and walking out to talk to consumers. Then they got upset because I didnt tip in the 20% rage so I wouldnt be back personally 🤷🏾‍♀️

We got the sweedish massage and it was a bit rougher than we needed, especially in our shoulders which were sore for a while. But that may be an issue w/ the style of massage rather than how they did it. Not sure.They didnt explain what was going to happen at points I felt was necessary (like not mentioning they were going to do the hot rocks which was very startling).But for the most part I thought it was a nice experience w/ pretty competent therapists.If you find their demeanor rude or unprofessional youre probably just white.

I had a great experience at sunshine massage! This was probably my 4th or 5th massage but the most thorough one I’ve ever had. Jessie was my masseuse and focused on my back as needed and didn’t leave any detail out on the rest!! Perfect firmness and very relaxing! I’ll definitely be back to see her! Thank you!

I was able to be seen the same day on a Sunday morning. The massage therapist (sadly, I failed to get her name), was wonderful! She really worked on all of my problem areas. Initially, she tried to talk me into doing a 90 minute session. I thought she was just trying to up sell me, but after she began to work on my legs, I realised why she suggested that. I definitely plan to go back in the very near future! The place is very clean, everyone is very nice, and the prices are less than the big name places. You cannot go wrong with this place!

This place is excellent especially if you enjoy deep tissue massage. In my opinion, sunshine is 100x times better vs any of the chain or fancy massage places. Basically, they have the right price point and focus on the actual service. The place is spotlessly clean and the therapists do an excellent job. For some, there might be a language barrier especially if you want treatment on a specific area of the body. However, if you are willing to go to this place, let go, relax and let them do what they do, you will enjoy an outstanding massage every time. Best place for deep tissue massage in St. Louis.

Would give this location zero stars if I could. I was told to pay and forced to tip 20% before the massage started. And then I had the absolute worst and most painful massage I have ever received in my life. Two female licensed massage therapist were there, and they both had their certificates on the wall. However, a man did my massage. When I asked to see his license, I was told “please leave.” I texted the store to ask for the owner of the stores information and was told “I’m busy now.” Will likely contact the BBB about this business to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Me and my wife had massages here and they were the best weve ever had. Very professional and thorough. So much massage for the money. A great value. Dont waste your time at the chain places just come here and you wont be disappointed.

I went in for a couple’s massage. The receptionist tried to put us in separate rooms (I’m assuming because we were two women). We ended up being in the same room. The massage was okay., some parts better than others. The atmosphere was great and the place was really clean. The only thing that ruined my relaxation was when the two masseuses kept speaking to each other throughout the massage

I am a massage therapist who needs regular self-care and the therapist I had been seeing for years is no longer available. To say it has been a challenge to find someone who meets my standards is an understatement. Until! Sunshine Massage brought the sunshine! CLEAN. PROFESSIONAL! WELCOMING. And JESSIE did her thing! I guess I’ll be taking a 30-minute trip regularly!

They are open again! Sign on the door says to call for appointments and wait in your car. Gotta wear a mask, accordinglyto St. Louis county rules.Ive been going here for awhile. All the masseuses do a great job. The store is very clean and really nice. Quality service and very polite.

The staff was rude and unprofessional. At arrival, the receptionist didnt remember the amount of time or type of massage I had reserved. Then argued with me about it. I was escorted to a room, but then left by myself for over 15 minutes, so my massage started late.The massage therapist left me 3 times to take care of other customers. The therapist also just started without asking me about pressure or areas I wanted worked on. And when I asked for the pressure to be less due to a tender area, I was ignored.

Absolutely GREAT deep tissue massage! My normal therapist has been out on medical leave so tried this place that was recommended by a friend. Lucky was AMAZING I have a difficult time finding someone that can do a real deep tissue therapy massage and this is the place! Very clean, very professional highly recommend!

I had a great 90 minute massage. However there was no happy ending ☹️ but was a A#1 massage. Music is poorly chosen and does not go with a peaceful atmosphere. I will go back if in the area. Price is great..

Massage was great when I went to pay by credit card I put 20% tip on manager said thats not enought she put 30% on I said no she said yes and ran charge. Thats no way to run a business I will never go back. Customers Beware!

Ive been seeing Lucky every week now for close to 6 months. She is not only georgous, but very great at what she does. There is a minor language barrier. But if you are looking for a fantastic deep tissue, this is the place and Lucky is the maseuse for you.

Massage was excellent, great atmosphere and relaxing. Would recommend this place to anyone. Wish they walked on your back and a table shower afterwards but oh well. Great place!

Don’t ever buy a gift certificate from there. They are only good for six months, and will not honor if expired.

It is a very nice place that is clean and the masseuses give a great therapeutic massage.They do hot rocks, swedish, and firm shiatsu massages. This a a great place to go and unwind. I strongly recommend it for men and women.
