Club Viva Hotels are somewhat great because of the Playa, DO NOT GET THE MEMEBERHSIP it is a waste of time and you will regreat it. Their is financie options for 13% interest (Crazy I know) and The points system sucks; you will end up paying more per nights with point than if you cal and make a reservations yourself.
I love the Latin dance nights here! There are so many great dancers who are good with beginners. So fun check it out!
Ended up here randomly one night with a couple friends. As we paid our cover, the music was familiar, but I couldnt place it. Once we were at the bar we realized it was Bollywood Night. It ended up being a really fun and unexpected experience.Definitely a campy joint. Kind of looks like someone put a club in an old city basement, but it works. Full bar. Parking in the area appears limited.
Well, I have been to Viva only once for salsa. It’s how to describe it “authentic”, simple yet mildly overwhelming if you are new to these settings. The music is ok. The drinks are ok however water is not free, so you have to buy your own small water bottle that costs 3$. If you are not into dancing, or being in a dance kind of environment, this is not your place. The atmosphere is cool and you will notice that people are having fun but if you are an introvert, things might be different and having fun is a bit harder. What’s really WOW is the 10$ entry fee which if you are a working person, it will make a difference. Overall if you are in town or never heard of this place, it’s worth visiting, you might relate to the vibe or you may not but it’s worth going to at lease once. Have fun and bring someone with you so you can dance! I will most def visit again soon maybe for reggae night, and bring my water bottle if they will allow me to take it inside with me.
Just visited for the first time in 15 years! Just as much fun as I remember - we had a blast!
Great spot for dancing! 10$ cover and free dance lessons on Latin nights!
The reggae sucks I love reggae as soon as a good song comes on they mix it with hip-hop. Drinks are horrible and the workers too. The food is great.
Atmosphere as great but they should have a more variety of Spanish much..Latin it’s not just bachata salsa merengue
No complaints about the place itself, but the area is not safe. My car was stolen. Be careful.
I was out at happy hour celebrating my birthday. One of my friends that was out with me. Suggested after dinner and drinks to go to a club called ViVa. First time in this place. OMG we had a BLAST! Definitely a night to remember..Great music, food and drinks! Will definitely return!
Diverse and sexy! Great atmosphere and very entertaining. There werent many places to sit, but who would want to? All the music and dancing makes you want to join in! But you should probably take salsa lessons first, the people there are serious dancers.
My husband and I traveled to STL on March 22nd to visit for the first time. We arrived after 5 on Thursday, so most of the touristy type stuff we could do was already closed. When I googled what to do in St. Louis, Club Viva came up. I did some research and saw that on that Thursday night if you came in early, there was a dance class! We had so much fun, the instructor was so energetic. We really loved the atmosphere and the music selection!
Wow, went on Thursday with my girlfriend to learn how to dance. $5 for guys, free for women, and it was a fantastic experience. I can salsa now, and will be joining the lesson group next month. Clean, friendly, fun, and cheap!
Great Latin nights and lessons
Second time here, I was really displeased by the lack of attention when it comes to dress code and advising patrons of same. I am on vacation from FLW and i wanted to experience good latin vibe. Let me start with what i like. Music was very good and DJ played varied the types of musics. Drink were good although little pricey for the type of establishment... but good service nevertheless. Here what my gripe is... I payed my entrance cover charge... walked to the bar ordered me a total of 2 drinks, bar tender was on point. I was in the club for about 45 mins until an emplyee asked me to put my Saint Louis Cards Ball Cap at the front that it was an establishment policy. I looked around and there were other individuals with caps although none were ball caps, fair enough. I told the individual aka employee that I was not informed by the front desk nor no body other than him corrected, not me not even the bar tender corrected me. I went to the front looking for rules or dress code guide lines or any signs advising of such dress code at no avail. I felt single out ( there were patrons with shorts and filthy dirty sneakers shoes... obvioulsy i looked more presentable than them) they let me payed for my cover and two drinks to tell me later I must remove my cap. I went to the front left my cap and went on to finish my cuba libre, and left the establishment persmisses for good. This review was written right after the incident and is my firsy review of any places I been. Being latino is was a bummer for me.... thanks
Very fun Salsa club for all Americans. The DJ plays some pretty hott music. And, the women are way hotter! No sausage party here. I couldnt find a better Salsa place anywhere in the region.
This place is decent went there for salsa lessons and dancing. This place makes you embrace yourself in the culture of dancing. I will definitely be coming back for other nights at this venue.
If u r looking for somthing to expand your dancing portfolio this is the club. Even though I wasnt familiar with the music,it still took my body. A very friendly staff and patrons. Give Viva a chance and Im sure you will enjoy your night out😎
The dance lessons are so fun! The whole environment of the lessons and the club afterwords is very welcoming to beginners. Specialty drinks are also delicious.
Great place to go and dance. The classes are always fun and the people and the bartenders are always easy going! I recommend you do the free class on Thursdays and Saturdays. Highly recommend
I went here Thursday before the St. Louis salsa congress. It was fun with a good mix of salsa and bachata with a touch of merengue. I will come again when in the area.
We went on reggae night. The people at the door were rude. It was dirty and there wast many people there.
I love love love The Vibes in this club I really enjoyed myself it was my first time A friend of mine was getting married we had her bachelorette party here mixed crowd mainly African-Americans but love the food oh my God the food was outstanding
The dance classes before hand are great for quick introductions to Latin dancing. They teach you enough to get out on the dance floor and rip it up.
Good vibes always… Dj can do better mix though.
Went for salsa lessons and had a great time.
Very good music and good food. Needs a bigger crowd but overall very positive vibes and atmosphere.
Always a get time!DJ is 🔥, host, bartenders! Need I say more
Reggae Wednesdays is a fun experience especially if you love dancehall music!

One of our favorite places. Love the salsa lessons and the dancing afterwards.
I want to apologize to anyone who saw me get jiggy with it. And unlike my dancing, this place gets five stars from me!
Tons of fun. Live band every Wednesday. Nice mature crowd
I attended a Latin night for a friends birthday. The evening was real cute.

Has always been one of my favorite night clubs.
