Shark Bar

I just left from there around 1:15am today 8-03-2024. When I first stepped in the club around 11:47pm I ask the DJ older lady too play the song tipsy 3 TIMES AND MY BROTHER PAYED HER $5 TO PLAY THE SONG!!! She NEVER DID!!!😡 I LET HER KNOW HOW I FEEL BEFORE I LEFT. MY HUSBAND PASSED AWAY ON MAY 25, 2024. I JUST WANTED THAT SONG TO BE PLAYED TO FORGET ABOUT MY LIFE FOR JUST A MOMENT! I HOPE NO ONE EXPERIENCE WHAT I DID!!!!!!!!😭

Great vibe! Bartenders are kind and will attend to you even during rush time. Didnt try any food so cant say but drinks are decent. Priving was also good.

When its full, its fun. Ive seen it full once of the many times Ive been there. We usually cut through to get to pbr.

I love Sharkbar! Super great atmosphere and a fun late night spot! The staff there from the bartenders to the VIP workers are awesome! Madilynn always my visits there more enjoyable!!

Was new to the area with some friends, heard good things about this bar and we decided to go. Our bartender was a girl named Ashley and she was fantastic ! She was super pretty and sweet as well , definitely made us feel welcomed. Drinks were great, service was even better !

I had Ashley as a bartender she made us some fantastic cocktails. She brightened our mood with her presence. I would definitely come back. Awesome service and drinks!!

I initially went to shark bar for a drink with my friend but had a great time. Our bartender Kristen made sure we were well taken care of, she was one of the sweetest people I’ve met in a while, and great bartender as welll. I’ll definitely be back here!

Stopped in while celebrating a bride to be. Phenomenal service, Ashley went out of her way to make sure our group was well taken care of. Don’t hesitate to drop in for a good time.

Love it here!!!!! Only complaint is the music, every time I come it’s literally the same playlist, it would be nice to hear something different from other pop artists . Also noticing that this is a very diverse environment it would be really nice to hear a little bit of hiphop/rnb music

If you’re looking for a good time, go to Shark! The bartenders and waitress are super sweet, and hook me and friends up every time! They are so good at making a fun atmosphere for birthdays, and there’s themed events occasions as well. Check this place out!

Dj did a good job and had a nice time with my friends. Staff had good attitudes.Only problem is that this is the second time I have been to this bar and both times I was purposefully, inappropriately touched by more than one man. Touching my butt and putting their hands on my body while I was dancing with my friends or walking through the crowd. The first time I went a man was very inappropriate with my friend, so much so that she had a panic attack. The club may have been fun but I do not feel safe there.

Kirstin is an absolute dime and an amazing bartender. She got all of our drinks in a timely fashion and tending to all our needs. I would recommend her to any customer at this club.

Not super pleased with our experience here at about 9:30pm on 9/16/2023. Asked if they had any frozen drinks, no. No big deal there. Asked if they had any sort of drink menu/specials, no. Okay, fine. Ended up ordering two simple cherry vodka, cranberry, and sprite. Bottle ran out while making our drinks. Both drinks were definitely light on the pour because of this, and for $8-$9 each, it’s kind of crummy. Pointed out as the drink was being made, and was basically told “oh well.”Maybe I’m just too old for a trendy place like this these days…

I had a blast coming here with a group of friends! We made an unplanned stop for birthday shots and ended up getting a vip section and bottle service for my friend’s birthday . The manager Kendra was very helpful in making sure we were set up and comfortable. Our two bottle girls were on top of keeping mixers filled, taking away empty glasses, refilling our drinks and keeping the bottles coming! They were amazing and helped keep the party vibe going! The dj kept the crowd hype and played all great songs. He had the whole crowd dancing and having a blast.Overall a great time if you just pop in for a couple drinks or stay and get VIP and bottle service!! Great place to come party!

There was no one doing their job to greet or card individuals as they wanted to enter; then when we tried entering assuming it was okay since no one was doing their job at the front the workers were unprofessional and yelled at us saying we had to wait. We didn’t know we had to wait for someone that wasn’t where they were supposed to be. Terrible customer service. Not even doing their job.

Ashley is probably the best bartender in ballpark village, she’s always rocking it. We gonna be here every weekend.

Bouncer took my Ohio License ID, he ask me when did i got it, i said a couple months ago. I just guess cause i really forgot when i get cause im not really always looking at my ID, and he took it. Now i cant drive. They really need to be trained on some different kind of ID’s. It my first time going to clubs. And felt so sad

The drinks and everything here are ok but it’s a sloppy situation. There are drinks spilled all over the dance floor. My girlfriend slipped and dislocated her knee. The bpv staff was helpful and called the paramedics. She also wasn’t the first person I saw fall. This really needs to be addressed . Went for drinks and ended up spending the night at the emergency room!

Hi guys - this is the guy with the ripped $100 dollar bill from your ATM that asked for help. Bar tender threw receipts at me, security told me to leave. Wanted to let you know I walked back into the back and changed it in for the 5 20s I asked for. Your staff is beyond horrible. The bar tender Alex who took ur ripped up $100 bill and gave me Change was a delight. The rest of your staff is a joke. Dated 1.18. Contact me for details.

So I went here opening night initially had a good time. Until right after my first drink a security guard asked me to come with them I complied and was escorted all the way out of ball park village. Once outside I was told I was too intoxicated. So I replied I’m not even drunk. And I wasn’t all I was doing was standing there near the tv watching the cards game and was about to order a slushy because the had finally refilled the slushy machine. So I would only go here if you want to be kicked out before your even able to order a second drink. I also did not do anything to suggest I was drunk. Over all the expierience was poor.

Bouncer at door was POWER TRIPPING!!! He broke my ID then told me to “get lost”. Had to go get the cops to explain to the fool that my ID was in fact, REAL. what a joke.

The bar layout is cool. Lots of things they could work with. However, I would say this bar is subpar. The episodic dancing by the bartenders is rather...well...second hand embarrassment. Drinks were mixed well. Come for the pictures. Leave for a better bar.

Had a good time especially, I liked the pay $10, get 50% on drinks before 10pm special. The atmosphere was nice, and the drinks were awesome. Liked the music too.

Closed at 1:30am even though they said they closed at 3:00am, told me they have authority to close whenever they want. Manager had 0Respect for the crowd who were getting poured on by insane rain. Coming from Miami, I can see why nobody wants to comes to the Midwest.

Had a great time at an event, the staff energy was fantastic and the bartenders were great! Keep an eye out for Madison, she makes a great Long Island Iced Tea!

I ordered jack and coke and noticed about 5 bugs in it. Spoke to the manager and she refused to refund me the drink, after looking at the jack bottle and noticing that it had nats in it. Stay away from this place.

It was my first time going to a club and there were so many people and I could smell sweat.There werent many Asians and the DJ selection was good. I ordered a bottle of beer and ate it.
