Natasha was magic with my 11 year old. She was so engaging, respectful, and kind with her. She looked over pictures of her desired look, checked in with her regularly about length and preference, and gave really helpful suggestions about hair care and style. Ive never given a 100% tip before in my life but tonight I did. Thanks Natasha. You are a gem!

First time at Spa 801 and had an incredible facial experience with Sophia. At the beginning on my appointment we did a skin assessment and she offered me professional advice on products and techniques that work specifically for my sensitive skin. I had a ton of questions and she answered them all with ease!Diving into my facial, Sophia tailored my facial specifically for my skin which resulted in the most relaxing, non-irritating facial I have ever gotten using all natural, clinical products. She understands that all skin is different and tailors the treatment to meet your needs, a MUST for my sensitive, acne-prone skin. Sophia was also so incredibly kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. I’ll definitely be booking with Sophia for my monthly facials! 🤍

I went today for the first time and I had a great experience. The staff at the front was very inviting when I first arrived and got me to my stylist in a timely fashion. Michael did a fantastic job with my wash, cut, and blow dry. My hair looks so much healthier and he gave me that final look I was going after. Would definitely come again!

I got my first ever facial with Sophia yesterday, and the experience was absolutely amazing! I was nervous about the whole thing because I’ve never gotten one, but she made all of that go away by explaining everything she was doing before she did each step. She went above and beyond in her service to make sure I was relaxed and comfortable the whole time. I will absolutely be rebooking with Sophia and highly recommend others do the same!!

What an amazing experience I had today. I went walk-in and they did a fast job. Gabi was extremely nice with my daughter and did an amazing job on her hair. I highly recommend this place. Also got my eyebrows done and was a super nice experience. I will comeback here for sure!!!

Natasha is a great stylist! I went to her to get some highlights done after a few months of not getting my hair done, and it was amazing! She makes you feel like you’re at home and she did such a good job I’m so happy with my hair 😊 I feel like a brand new person and I’ve gotten so many compliments. I’m so glad I went to her and if anybody is looking for a refresh and a long term stylist, she is the best one!!

I went to Natasha and she is amazing! I’ve gotten my hair trimmed and colored countless times and she always does it perfectly. Always makes sure I like the length of the trim and never cuts too short to fix it! She is wonderful I would highly recommend Natasha. I have curtain bangs and no one can ever seem to get them right but her! You won’t regret it

I had my first facial with Tennille on Thursday and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. Tennille took her time and made me feel at ease. She explained the facial step by step and answered my skin care questions. Tennille also allowed me to be quiet and rest as I needed to. She also gave me a facial massage which was amazing. My 88 year old mother loves getting her manicures and pedicures at Spa 801. Bobbie Wood does an amazing job working with my mother. She is patient, caring, empathetic, and very professional. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Mom looks forward to going each month.

Nails by Jillian, hair by Natasha & I want to shout it loud enough for the world to hear, AMAZING! I expressed my desire for something fall themed during my pedicure with Jillian. She combined colors I wouldnt have even considered to create a toenail masterpiece! There are even little tiny hand painted leaves! And then I moved over to Natasha for hair. OMG Im obsessed with this cut and color!!! I went from bland, fading blond to a short, chunky cut with red/copper low and high lights! Absolutely stunning!Thank you both for bringing beauty to life! She did exactly what I was looking for! The whole experience at the salon was great from the moment I walked in. They offered me a beverage and took me back to wash my hair promptly. Spa 801 is the best. I have been going there since they opened. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I miss my favorite hairdresser Tammie who retired but Misty is now my favorite. She listens and also gives excellent advice as well. They all feel like family to me.

They made sure we were taken care of the entire time, and the services were above and beyond. Anna’s massage made me fall asleep it was so good! Tennile gave me my first facial ever and it was glorious! Natasha hooked me up with an amazing hairstyle I keep replicating and my makeup was perfect! Laura is my new bestie when it comes to mani pedis. She is a pro! I can’t say enough great things about the staff and service here. I’m a forever client.

I arrived at my appointment time and was greeted by the nicest staff whom offered me a beverage and showed me to the waiting area and I wasn’t sitting very long and was then greeted by my new Hair Stylist Natasha who is very pretty and a GREAT LISTENER, she asked me what I needed done and I explained I didn’t need a “haircut” per say, I just needed my sides evened to where they fall towards my face and for my front of my bangs cut straight and blend the rest of my bags.FINALLY someone who gets what I was looking and not make me look like I came from the 1980s or give me an old lady’s of her 80 haircut. I have been going to Spa 801 for over a year now and always leave feeling like a new woman. It is apparent the owners put a great deal of thought and effort into the aesthetics and vibe of the business as you immediately feel relaxed as soon as you walk in the door. The Spa is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, quiet music is playing, delicious scents are in the air, and Kristina and Diana at the front desk are welcoming and friendly and greet you with a smile. Services beautifully done included dozens of hair cuts and styles and techniques over the past five to seven years I have been seeing them. Advice is given but the client wishes are deemed as the guiding lights. They use the same high quality products on your hair as the sell in the facility. Reasonably spacious, beautiful surroundings outside and in. A variety of services beyond haircare. I personally know the people that work there and I can attest to the physical, social and safety needs each client feels when they are there. I personally recommend you go there.

Made an appointment with Debi on the basis of an online recommendation. I found the salon to be bright and the staff is friendly and professional. My hair is naturally curly but it has been neglected since I moved to the area. Debi is very knowledgeable about curly hair and she was able to help me get my curls under control. Now I look presentable and I’m happy with the results of Debi’ attention.

From the inviting entrance lanai to the friendly and genuine smiles throughout, this place is head and shoulders above any other salon I’ve visited. Im disappointed in my experience with Spa 801. To start I had an appointment on 6/14 with Joey for a balayage and a trim, I showed her a photo of what I was looking for, and told her id like my brown touched up as it began to fade. When I got home and had a chance to look at my hair I was so disappointed, my hair was very uneven and full of choppy layers. My hair was fried and didnt look remotely similar to the photo I provided. On top of that the “blonde” was incredibly brassy and my brain was now black. It looked like I had box dyed my own hair. I spoke with the owner the next day who asked me to come in so he could take a look at my hair, after speaking with her she was able to fix the haircut but we ultimately decided the only way to fix the “blonde” was to tone it brown, as my hair was now compromised at this point. I ended up coming back in on July 7th where we did the brown toner and another trim than was asked to come back in 3 weeks to reassess my hair which was today 7/28, I came in for my 10 am appointment and sat there for 30 minutes before the receptionist finally told me Missy wouldnt be there for at least another 15 minutes. I ended up just leaving due to my frustration with this salon, and have already scheduled a consultation with another salon.However, I now have to go spend hundreds to get a color correction done on my hair after already spending $275.00 just for Joey to completely ruin my hair.

I surprised my mom with a mani and mini pedi. Laura did not provide the mini pedicure that I paid for. She soaked my mom’s feet, did her cuticles, and applied lotion to her feet. That was all. She didn’t talk much; my mom initiated all conversation. But as my mother waited for me to finish, Laura was very talkative to her next customer. I had Alexis and she was nice, kind, personable, professional, courteous and I hate to see her leave. But I will not return. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of service Laura provided my mother. I was more disgusted in feeling Laura wasn’t pleasant because we didn’t look like her and her next client. Still being the kind-hearted person my mother is, she forced me to leave Laura an undeserved tip. And Laura, obviously you’re aware of your allergies and constant coughing, out of respect and courtesy to your customers where a mask!

I received a cut, style, and deep conditioning treatment with Misty J today and I absolutely love it. Misty was sure to walk through everything as she was doing it and explain what the process was (multi step conditioning treatment) and made sure to check in with me during the cut to make sure I was good with where she planned to take the style.I could not have asked for a better experience, after a number of pretty bad ones in the past.Pricing is excellent for all services, from what I can tell.Shop set up is nice and well kept and staff, nail techs, and stylists were all very nice.I will 100% be returning as a client to Spa 801 and am sad it took me so long to book my first appointment.

My experience started with a warm welcome. I was asked if I would like something to drink. Fresh coffee was then made for me.Geneva is a very experienced hair stylist. She cut my hair just as I had asked.I didn’t get the woman’s name who washed my hair(she has bright green in her hair) gave me the best scalp massage. Gentle but strong enough.5 star review.

I came in with my hair color messed up. Bands of color. Misty did an amazing job. My color is this beautiful copper gold that I was wanting from scalp to ends. She trimmed and fringed my haircut around my face. Best shampoo EVER! Im defined recommend her especially to correct your color. My hair is so Shiny and healthy. They have great haircare products too. She used this new product called Shibui. My hair is smooth as glass! Gotta buy some!

Spa 801 was so clean, and bright inside! I enjoyed the warmth from the front desk staff and my stylist Joey K was a literal miracle worker! I’ve never been happier with my hair!

I was there with my two daughters (who are young adults) and Laura waited on one of them. She was rude to my daughter, not engaged at all, was constantly coughing without covering up (said allergies) and seemed like this was the last place she wanted to be. One of my daughters nails needed to be touched up and she didn’t want to correct it properly. We had to ask her to finish fixing it. Would not recommend her if you are looking to enjoy a girls afternoon.Alexis (my nail tech) on the other hand was fantastic! 5 ⭐️s. She did a beautiful job on my nails and was engaged and friendly. She redid one of my nails when it didn’t turn out right without me asking. Very detailed and attentive.

I had Camryn as my microblading artist and got a facial from her as well. I can’t say enough good things, the microblading turned out even more amazing than I was expecting. It looks so natural and she matched my eyebrow color perfectly. I’d highly recommend her for any eyebrow needs, she is very skilled. The facial was fantastic as well! My skin felt so soft and revitalized afterwards and kept a glow for a long time. I even bought some of the products she used in the facial to use in my regular skin care routine. Highly recommend Camryn Curie for any of your Beauty needs.

I got a perm from here. Billy was great. Hair was great when I left. But My perm didn’t take, it wasn’t Billy’s fault. My hair sometimes doesn’t take perms. Everyone in the who spa is wonderful. Definitely suggest them. I will try again with a perm in a couple months.

Spa 801 is incredible. Came in yesterday (3/15) for a facial and Im so impressed. The staff is beyond friendly. The woman at the front was polite and sweet. The facial itself was relaxing and wonderful. Best facial Ive ever had. My esthetician, Camryn, is knowledgable and friendly. I offered my skin concerns and she curated a session that checked off all of my boxes. Shes professional, but personable which is so nice to see in this field. Im a first timer to the spa, but Ill be back for sure. Best facial Ive ever had. Ask for Camryn! You wont regret it!

Gave me my first sun-kissed highlights and they were so subtle and gorgeous — exactly as I wanted. Also amazing that she has experience working with disabled clients. I have been going to Morgan for years now! I just love her. Shes so friendly and professional. She is excellent at what she does! Highly recommend! Facility is super clean, the offer drinks and snacks. They have art for sale and other odds and ends like a boutique. Really nice salon.

Loved this place! The inside and outside are very clean and had a great atmosphere. I went to get my hair done and noticed they had a lot of other services as well which I thought was neet. The prices were not overly priced like most places. I saw Geniva and this was my first hair salon experience where there wasnt that awkward hair cutting conversation that you feel like you should be having, so you keep trying to think of things to talk about... Geniva was very personable, fun to talk to and very knowledgeable in her practice! I was nervous to go get my hair cut because I have long, thick, wavy hair and most stylists cut it way to short or awkwardly. But Geniva talked me through all the different ideas she was thinking of and what may suit me best. I trusted her with what she thought would look good and I love it!!! I will be going back! She is incredibly personable and always stops to understand what I’m looking for (first with the cut, now with the color). I love how it came out and highly recommend Savannah and SPa 801. Camryn did an absolutely amazing job on my dermaplane facial and brow waxing. She is gentle and professional and I walked away feeling my skin glowing. I have gotten dermaplaning all over the county over the past 10 years and she is by far the best. Im sorry it took so long for me to find her. I will never use anyone else again. Highly recommend.

I just got my first facial/face peel with Camryn, and it was lovely. The salon is very cozy and relaxing. She was very gentle with my skin, able to tell me of all the products she was using, what was in them, and why. Afterwards, my face was feeling refreshed and fabulous. Good afternoon,My name is Lydia Silverstone and I want to write something from the bottom of my heart. I have been coming to spa 801 for the past 2 years for waxing with Katie and nails with Riley. Katie is the most amazing worker I’ve met and I will always come to her. I’ve been coming for Riley for 2 years and she has always charged me $15 for gel soak off and acrylic removal. Online, everywhere it says buffer & polish starts at $15 and acrylic is $10. I came today for the first time to Laura Maidenberg just to remove my acrylics. When I was checking out, she charged me $40. $15 plus $10 is $25 and I understand that is starting prices but my nails have nothing on them crazy to increase the price by additional $15. In addition, her drill wasn’t working so we spent between 5 and 10 minutes trying to turn on the drill and she ultimately borrowed someone else’s. In addition, she had put the drill to the maximum level and i trembled a couple times because it hurt.Every single place in st Pete had never charged me more than $20 to remove nails? Not even spa 801. I work a minimum wage job as a college student and I paid $40 which I earn for 5 hours. When I asked why I paid $40, she said because she spent over an hour on my nails and did more than needed, that is a lie. I went to her at 9:44 and left at 10:47, which includes the minutes wasted finding a drill. When I told her Riley has always charged me $15, she said she’s not Riley and Riley has been undercharging me. I just want to say that Riley won #1 nail artist in Tampa bay so while i respect Laura’s 20+ years of nail service, she has absolutely no reason to say Riley undercharged me and wasn’t putting the correct prices. Laura’s attitude towards me and her ex-coworker were crazy.In addition, NOWHERE online is there acrylic removal in your website and its price. I only see gel removal which is $10 and buffer which is $15. Where did my other $15 go? I didn’t have the longest nails in the world and I had basic nail art, so I don’t understand why I was charged extra $15.This made me cry. You can ask anyone on the front desk and I was crying. I was overcharged when I’ve been a client for over 2 years and I was treated horribly.I will always come back here for Katie because she is absolutely amazing. But I would like refund or half a refund for my nail removals. This is unbelievable and I love your salon and I never expected to pay $40 to just remove my acrylics.Thank you. I truly don’t want to get anyone upset but I have the right as a human to share my thoughts and hurtful things I went through.*The owners contacted me and we resolved the issue. The owners/managers are truly welcoming and want to solve any problems that arise, so I thank them for that. I appreciate their communication and will keep coming back for waxing with Katie!

Everyone at Spa 801 is so friendly and Kind. My mom has dementia and I take her to get her hair done every six weeks and Billy is her best friend. He takes such good care of her and treats her like a princess. It goes such a long way wi to her spirits and my family really appreciates it. They all do beautiful work. Check it out 🙏❤️

Veronica is amazing. She did my trim and Keratin. She is the sweetest person. She also is very good at what she does. She really took her time to make sure my hair looked great and that she got the hair really straight and perfect. She would check in to make sure I was ok with each step and if there was any changes I would like to be made. I have super curly hair so It is also really nice when I find someone who knows how to work with curly hair. I am so happy with the way my hair looks and can tell my Keratin will last a while based upon how through she was. I was nervous finding someone new since I recently moved and I am so happy to have found Veronica!

Spa 801 is amazing! I moved to Florida from Oklahoma in 2019 and needed a new hairstylist. After trying many salons that just didn’t cut it, I finally found Spa 801! They are a godsend!! Tammie, the owner and the manager met me at the front counter when I explained my dilemma and took time out of their busy schedules to visit with me about my hair and my special needs, even though I stopped by the salon unannounced. I love ALL the services they provide and the salon is decorated so cute inside and out with lots of extras that really make it the best salon around in my opinion. I went to Spa 801 for my first salon experience. I did not wait long and my stylist was Amber E. She was very friendly and informative about the questions I had in caring for my hair. I received a wash, conditioning treatment, cut, and blow out. My hair is noticeably softer and smoother and I paid a fair price for a master stylist that took her time to listen to how I wanted my hair. Coworkers and classmates noticed right away that it looked healthier and I received lots of compliments. I am happy I made the decision to go to Spa 801 and will recommend you to my friends!

Katie absolutely transformed my eyebrows from bushy caterpillars 🐛 to beautiful butterflies 🦋 . I love this place. Berts my hair guy & does an amazing job with color & the worlds greatest blow outs. I have crazy thick red hair & he is the best I have ever had in Florida (BY FAR). I have used 2 or 3 different girls for manis and pedis based on availability & they are all great.Fair prices, luxurious setting, really friendly staff. LOVE IT.

Worst experience ever. I went in to get my hair done and I asked for silver knowing how the up keep and cost is. Instead of doing my hair correctly, they put toner all over my head which did turn my hair a silver color for 2 days. They did not lighten my hair or do the process right, I found out after the fact. I was allergic to the toner they used which resulted in hives on my head and face, then my scalp peeling. No patch tests. After I let my stylist know the color came out and my head was having a reaction I got no response, so I called the shop asking for a refund. They offered to fix my hair so I jumped at the chance, I thought it would be done right. I came in the next time for the fix where they tried to charge me for lightening my hair which they should have done the first time. I said nope Ill just take my refund and go, instead they said they would do it. So they lightened 2 pieces of my hair and toned all of it again, this time no reaction. Being in a rush they didnt blow dry my hair so I made another appointment and went home. After seeing my hair, it was still not what I asked for at all. So again I asked for a refund. Which they did give me. After that the situation was pretty much over. I will admit I forgot to cancel my appointment for the next time, so I no call no showed. I know that is not cool, but what follows is even less cool. I made a post on a Facebook public page asking for recommendations on where to get my hair done, someone suggested the lady who tried to fix my hair, I explained that she was nice but I just wasnt happy with my experience. Then the stylist Veronica gets on Facebook and tries to call me out for no call no showing, must have forgotten all of the time I wasted for no result. Then she said silver takes a lot of up keep and I didnt understand that. I explained again that I understood the cost and upkeep, but my hair was messed up twice the first time by the owner and the second by her. The next day the comment was deleted. I found that so unprofessional and ridiculous to call a customer after messing their hair up. I will never return and always tell people of the experience I had. If you want your hair done correctly and professionally DO NOT GO HERE

I received a haircut and blow dry from Tammy today. Tammy listened and was able to give me a cut that was exactly what I asked for. The salon is professional, clean, and has taken the pandemic recommendations seriously. I recommend Spa 801 and Tammy!

My first Brazilian ever and it was with Katie, she was so informative and knew exactly what she was doing! She definitely made me feel so much more comfortable and was very quick and easygoing :) she definitely does not disappoint

I had a confirmed appointment and had waited for 15 minutes before they came out and said that the stylist was not going to be able to take me as the current customer had an unexpected service. Very poor experience and I highly recommend you find people who can keep their commitments. I had a back to back schedule and had to go home to do my hair and get ready for the rest of the day. Will not be returning.

This is a beautiful and relaxing salon. I had two services there both were worlds apart. The first time I went in to get a hair cut and blow dry and everything came out perfect. I thought, to myself I found my new salon. Then the second time I came in for a hair cut with the same stylist I got a bad cut. I went in to get my ends trimmed and I left with a uneven hair cut. I dont know how the stylist didnt realize it! The back of my hair was straight when I came in, then when I went back for her to fix it, she really didnt fix it (at least she didnt make it worse). I went home blow dried it to make sure it was ok and nope, it was still uneven. I dont like to make a fuss over things like this, so I just left and didnt complain any further. I wont be back and Im now growing my hair out and going somewhere else.
