My experience at Apex was extraordinary. Being new to massage, Jayk took time to listen to the issues I was having and developed an effective treatment plan for the critical areas that had been limiting my movement and causing discomfort for years. In one single treatment I was able to look over my shoulder 20% further, we increased range of motion/strength in my shoulders and and the experience left me with an overall relaxed feeling. I will recommend apex to all my friends and family.

I had my first appointment with Jayk and he made recommendations for a first treatment that targeted my areas of concern. We discussed treatment goals and modalities -- Jayk is thoughtful, insightful, and patient. Within an hour of the treatment, I realized that I was feeling deep relief - that will last! I am confident that Apex will help me minimize pain, improve range of motion, and stay active skiing, biking, hiking .. and anything else I want to do! The place of business is clean, thoughtfully designed, and parking was a breeze!

Jayk was wonderful! Very professional and knowledgeable about the body, muscles, and practice itself. I have been going through a hard time this year and have built up tension in my upper back and shoulders- Jayk really focused on those areas and soothed my sore muscles. Patricio was quite literally heaven sent. Western medicine can fail a patient in many ways (like they did me). I started researching myofascial release, cupping, and scraping and came to Apex because of their customer service. I’m so grateful I did. Jayk was responsive to any question I had. He even responded later in the evenings and weekends to ensure I was cared for. You can’t beat that quality of care. Patricio made me feel comfortable and was professional and highly knowledgeable. The facility was clean, comfortable and serene. Patricio gave me homework on muscles and tendons to stretch before my next visits and told me certain foods to steer clear of to ease inflammation. I had orthopedic surgery and his advice and knowledge exceeded that of my surgeons. I had to hiatus my biweekly massages due to other physical care needed, but I’m returning in the next few weeks. I would highly recommend this place to anyone recovering from surgery or anyone who has areas of trouble they’d like worked on. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’d dare say I had at least 20 massages and will probably go here for the remainder of my life. My injuries were that severe and this place is that worth it!

Had a 2 hour deep tissue massage plus cupping and scraping with Patricio. The massage was worth every penny. The cupping and scraping add ons were an even better deal. And Patricio was very skilled and knowledgeable in his trade, even answering my questions as we went. 5/5 stars for sure

This was my first ever massage and the first thing I noticed was that Jayk Speth was very professional and walked me through the whole process. He did everything to make me feel comfortable. I came in because of issues with my shoulder and he made sure to tailor my massage to help with that. In the end, this was an excellent experience and I booked a follow up session with him while in the office. I highly recommend Jayk and his staff.

Patricio gave the best massage I could have imagined today! I’m in SLC for a long climbing trip, and he was exceptional at finding tight spots and releasing them. Jayk and his team are amazing! I am a weight lifter and have had knee injuries and subsequent surgeries that have left me with chronic pain in my knees and hips. I have been having issues with my hip for years now. I have been a dancer/ runner and basically came to the conclusion that I screwed my hip and cursed myself with 130 year old grandma hip.I couldn’t even get through work without it bothering me and it has been so irritating! I came into Apex yesterday because I was having a lot of back and shoulder pain. I had heard of Apex from a friend and was excited to see that I could make a next day appointment. Patricio listened carefully to my concerns and worked meticulously on my problem areas while still doing a full body massage. Afterwards, I experience immediate relief. I booked 1.5 hours, but next time I think Im going to book two hours because it was that incredible. I appreciated that after the massage, Patricio took the time to show me what we worked on and why. I tweaked my neck which got worse over the next few days. Came in to get a massage from Jayk who was knowledgeable and took the time to understand where the discomfort was coming from before starting. Jayk is an incredibly skilled sport massage therapist. I hold a lot of tension and stress in my neck and shoulders. Just had a 90 minute sports massage with Jayk. Probably one of the best I have had. Very creative with his style and his structural technique was well-suited to myself being a sports driven and active person. He was able to focus perfectly on my back, upper body and lower quads. The massage is great. He is very personable and knowledgeable. The massage room is very clean and provides a very calming atmosphere. Jayk takes the time to try to understand what your trouble areas are and what your needs are. He makes suggestions and checks in throughout the massage to make sure he is getting the areas you need. He just let you know what he can do in an effort to help. He also asks upfront how much pressure you want/can handle and checks in to make sure it is right as he goes along. He is very warm and welcoming and I would recommend him.

Walked in due to having a really bad knot around my scapula, had added on the cupping and scraping as I thought that would help a ton if done right to release the knot.Walked out with the same issue I had, knot still in my upper back. Literally no change at all as far as getting any relief from the massage.I will not return and continue to search for another therapist.

Great body worker! I was in need of some deep tissue work and Jayk was able to give me exactly what I needed. He asked about the amount of pressure several times and took feedback perfectly. I enjoyed the space also and clearly could see that it was clean and very orderly.

Jayk is a great therapist, I’ve had back and neck pain for a long time due to a car accident, and after getting one of his massages I’ve felt amazing and I’m going back in a couple weeks to have a follow up. He clearly knows what he’s doing and can help with injuries, he gave me a “sports massage” due to my messed up shoulder and it has felt great since. It doesn’t just help you relax, it resets your whole body to be able to rebuild good habits for your posture and well being.

You know when you go to a therapist that doesn’t quiet get your needs met? Not this guy! This was one of the best, most helpful massages I’ve ever received. He was attentive and helped me with the things that were problematic in my body. After my session with him, my low back pain hasn’t been an issue. Jake provided appropriate pressure and worked out some knots with trigger point therapy as part of a medium to firm massage. I was pleased for a first time that he was able to discover what areas needed the most work - areas I couldnt release with stretching alone.
