For our anniversary, we decided to treat ourselves to a visit to this massage spa, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt attentive and special. We were given personalized robes, and our drinks were made exactly to our liking. The room lighting was dimmed perfectly, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The massage therapists were exceptional, providing the best massages weve ever had. Their peaceful communication and the soothing music added to the overall tranquility of the experience. It was the perfect way to celebrate our special day, and we left feeling rejuvenated and blissful. Highly recommend this spa for a truly luxurious and relaxing experience!

Cassandra was friendly and very personal.She applied the perfect amount of pressure and still made me feel relaxed. I tried cupping for the first time and loved it. I will absolutely request her again.

Very relaxing atmosphere. The hydrafacial was relaxing and gentle. Minimal redness and downtime. It was our first time at this spa, and we do wish we had been given a little bit more of a tour. We were just straight away put in the relaxation room. Had to find the lockers on our own. However, we did go in on a busy Saturday, so the front desk staff did seem otherwise occupied.

Checking in was quick and straight to changing and relaxing with a mimosa when Avalina came to get me for my massage which was fantastic! My facial with Jason was also fantastic. I felt stress free and relaxed after leaving the spa. I would definitely go back.

Yvette was excellent. I walked in a stress machine, carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders and she helped immensely. I would highly recommend and hope to return soon when in the area.

Got a deep tissue with Corey this morning. He is the best. I have been here a few times (always a pleasant experience) but Corey is on top of his game. I felt like he really understood what he was looking for and trying to work out. If you need a good amount of pressure on your back this is the guy. I feel like a new woman. Thanks Corey!

My wife and I had a great experience while receiving pedicures. Melissa was outstanding. It was the best pedicure I have ever received!! The establishment made us feel like we were on vacation/resort! Well be coming back, indeed!

Update: unfortunately, my nail polish did not last as long as I would have hoped. The nail polish started chipping after 3-4 days and I did not perform any major manual chores. For the price I paid, I am very disappointed. Again the customer service is great and they pamper you and spend at least if not over the advertised 50 minutes but disappointed in the quality of the work.—————————————————————————Although their prices seem steep, you definitely get VIP treatment here. Service is excellent and the ambience is very relaxing and well designed. Great place to splurge and treat yourself or your loved ones

Best pedicure and overall pampering service I’ve ever had. Details make the difference from the waiting area, to the hot tea, to the warm neck pillow, to the hot stone leg massage, to the fragrant products. Just lovely. A+ service provider too.

Corey was absolutely amazing! As a matter of fact, probably one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had and so desperately needed. The pressure was deep, but very much needed to relieve the extreme pain I had been suffering. I can’t thank Corey enough for being such a sweetheart , but more importantly making this experience extremely therapeutic for me ., kickstarting the proper healing process ,) Keep up the great work, Corey!

3/26 UpdateAs instructed, I emailed Friday (3/23) at 3:39PM and again Monday (3/25) at 12:27PM. No response.Went on 3/14 for a couples massage for my 1 year anniversary. The girl that did my husbands massage coughed the entire time. She told my husband before the massage that she had allergies, but I never heard her say that. Even if I had, the cough was absolutely terrible. Knowing about it wouldnt have made it any better. I asked her during the massage if she was sick and she said it was just really bad allergies. The cough was a deep cough, not a scratchy throat type cough, but deep within the lungs. When you have a deep cough, allergies or not in that type of employment, you should not go in. When youre paying for a massage you should get pure relaxation. Thats literally what youre paying for.

This was my first ever spa experience and i’m very pleased! As soon as I arrived I was taken back to get into my robe where I had my beverage waiting for me in the quiet room while i waited for my service. The massage, facial, & pedicure I received was a package. It was so tranquil and exceeded my expectations! I definitely recommend Woodhouse for anyone who’s looking for relaxation!

My experience from start to finish was amazing. The concierge was very friendly and very prompt at getting me all settled in. And Holly V, my therapist, was stellar. She found every knot that I had in my back, neck, and shoulders. She was also very kind.

Everyone at the spa is very thorough professional and just the sweetest people! And the front desk girls are over the top friendly and helpful. I always have the best experience! You literally cannot go wrong with any of the providers for any of the services!

The deep tissue massages and prenatal massages are great, facials are ok, I’d say it’s better to go to a dermatologist and pedicures dont seem worth it to me it’s lacking in quality or offerings I’d say. Also the past three times I’ve come I’ve gotten sick with with the flu or Covid.

I will start by saying this is a nice place and even though my first experience wasn’t great I might give it another shot because I have heard great things.I bought a package for my birthday which included a massage, facial, and pedicure. I scheduled the appointment a month in advance. The day of my appointment the spa called and had to cancel (not sure why) but it was an hour before my scheduled time and I was already on my way but accommodated the ask. They said they would give me a 50% refund (THIS DID NOT HAPPEN) and reschedule for another day.they rescheduled for Monday at 9am. Let’s just say not to book or agree to a 9am appointment time. They don’t open until 9 so the second I walked in I was rushed back to the massage room even thought I was waiting outside at 850 and the doors were locked. I wasn’t even through the front door before they were calling my name and told me normally they let you change into a robe and put your stuff in a locker and get settled in but I needed to change in a room in order to make sure I had enough time. I get and understand them needing to stick to their scheduled times in order to make their day flow, but perhaps they shouldn’t schedule a service time to start the second they open.The Massage was great but I was also shorted 15 minutes, I’m guessing so they could stay on their time schedule. I wouldn’t be as annoyed if I wasn’t there early and the doors were locked and if they wouldn’t have needed to cancel and reschedule my original booking. Why should I be punished for all this being on them?Next I had a facial, great service, basic facial but again was shorted 10 mins (and yes I did check the clock each time cause there was one in each room). This is now 25 minutes all together. I normally go to a place called lavender falls in stone oak for my facials and it’s the absolute best facial you will ever get. Do yourself a favor and try it out!!Now by this point I’ve finally been given a robe, slippers, and a locker. Finally a chance to semi breath and relax. But the best part of my package is now over and I couldn’t even enjoy it because I was rushed and wasn’t allowed to enjoy the amenities of relaxing before hand.I also had a pedicure which was ok and very basic. About a 5 minute massage total. - definitely not worth the money for a pedicureOverall, they need to be better at scheduling but customer service was on point.

First time here and the last. I came early was greeted and escorted to quiet room to wait for my appointment. I was disappointed to see no food snacks. Then used the restroom and no hand soap in the container meanwhile employees had loud conversations amongst themselves. My appointment time came and went while I waited! Nothing like showing up on time and having to wait to get my facial service when in fact the service ends on time! My facial service was sub par. My head massage felt like my 2 year old was playing with my hair. I asked for additional vitamin C to be applied and not sure that happened. When I was checking out I was accused my $250 gift card was used prior. Not a good experience and will not be going back.

Best location in San Antonio. Usually able to get in easily, professional. Often have lockers ready. Nice sitting area.

Average massage for above average pricing. Better off going to lifetime gym or loma de vida at la Cantera. 150 for 50 minute massage is kinda ridiculous especially because they don’t give you the full hour. Massage person did a below average job. I’ve gotten a better massage for 60$ for a full hour.

I took a day off of work for a much Needed spa day. It seems the people who scheduled their reservations are not very good at it. My services for the day were all messed up and I ended up just going home. Also, no toilet paper, towels to dry your hands or hand lotion in the women’s locker room. I saw one of the front desk people getting a pedicure and obviously nobody was paying attention to facilities.

I had a wonderful classic hydrofacial with Jason - Id ask for him! Yes, it is an expensive facial, but the results are instant!! My skin is radiant and more evenly toned. I have troublesome skin and would do it monthly if my wallet could afford it!

My daughter and I went for a girls day, and our actual massages were wonderful!The rest of the experience was quite disappointing, considering (and beginning with) how expensive it was. I have certainly had better end-to-end spa experiences at less expensive places.The atmosphere was... Fine.For one thing, the only drink in the waiting room was an infused water with something in it my daughter doesnt like, so she didnt even have that. At one point someone offered wine - while we were in the locker room getting ready, which seemed odd - which we werent interested in, so that was that. She may even have said there was something else, since we werent focused on that - but we also werent sure if those offerings would be added to the bill, since the services all offered a host of separately-priced optional additions.The spa robes seem very nice, being lined with a soft fleece. However, this also made them very warm. The waiting room was not particularly cool, so by the time our massage therapists showed up I was hot, flushed, clammy, and definitely not relaxed and enjoying my spa time.The locker room is cute, with geode slices on each locker for them to write guests names. But there is only one shower, and a notable lack of provided toiletries compared to others.They devote a considerable amount of space to a retail shop at the front, with various branded merchandise with spa scents, skin care, etc. At least they didnt push it.So, an overpriced nice massage in an underwhelming facility. I wont return.

My husband booked me an appointment for a 90 min massage for my birthday. Unfortunately I started my period the night before. I tried to logon to reschedule but there were no options. I called first thing at 10am. My appointment was at 3:30. They will not allow me to reschedule without charging me 50% of my service. I really wanted to have a nice massage, but who wants to lay flat on their belly with cramps and then have to get up halfway through to make sure you arent bleeding on the table? I talked to two women and a woman manager. No one would budge. Clearly, customer service is NOT their specialty and I will never book there again.

I went to Woodhouse a few months ago and the young lady at the counter, Sophia, helped me tremendously. She really seems to know the products and services. Her patience is truly one of her many virtues. She set me up with a facial with Jason who was absolutely remarkable. They should be both commended. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Unfortunately due to some scheduling error the assistant manager was very rude dealing with an old client and I will be giving my business to a company that values and cares through every interaction. I had a wonderful experience every time I came to Wood house day spa. I have never in my life had someone speak so rudely. Go with caution.The work by the employees is good. I enjoyed two aesthetician’s work- Sara and Alyssa. The massage therapist is very good as well. The assistant manager is very rude and I pray she never speaks to anyone like that I’m the future again.

I’ve have had many facials for years but never from here. I received a gift certificate from bridal shower and used it here. I specifically got a hydra facial. All I have to say is I was surprised at how poor the service was. The location and the people up front were nice. But my Esthetecian was so rough when removing my gellie mask specifically the towels that are used are soooo old. She left a lot of product around my hair line and ears at the end of the facial. Again it’s over priced for the services they offer in my opinion. Also the fact she kept coughing during the treatment was not relaxing at all…

This review is in regards to service provided not the employees/staff or atmosphere of the spa itself.I received the the “Black Sand rejuvenation” and for $180, the service did not meet my expectations. I believe this service should include a more thorough treatment, such as a massage or a pre-cleanse or something. Overall, the customer service was great and the person providing service did amazing. It was just the actual service that was 100% not worth it and I do not recommend for anyone to invest in.

We came in today for our massage appointment at the Rim. I wanted to take my daughter in law and daughter (who came in from out of state) for a relaxation day we booked several weeks in advance and specifically requested female massage therapists. Just as we were about to be taken to the room, there was a male massage therapist. He was polite but we wanted all females.The manager only offered for one of us to get a facial or manicure while the other two get massages. That’s not what we wanted or came for. Now my daughter leaves back to Virginia on Tuesday and I have no other time to take her.Very disappointing!

I took my wife here last year as a mothers day gift and I just never got around to writing this review but overall the place is nice and looks very classy, my wife loved her cleansing facial but the only downside was the service.. My wife had never been to a place like this before so she had some questions and concerns just because she was kind of nervous and the girls at the desk started laughing at her and talking about her as soon as they led her into another room. I think they didnt realize I was still standing around the corner. We really didnt appreciate that at all.

The spa itself was very classy and great vibes. Once you check-in they guide you to the women’s dressing rooms, give you your own robe and sandals and choice of tea, coffee, mimosa, champagne, juice or water where you can relax in the sitting room until your appt. I bought the Hot Stone massage which is a mix of hot stones and Swedish massage. My masseuse was very sweet but I didn’t not receive the pressure I would have hoped for. It really just felt like she was rubbing lotion on me with a little pressure. I recommend getting the sports massage if you have knots and pain. Would recommend this place! Just not the hot stone massage.

Definitely arrive early, to fill out paperwork and have a mimosa or tea! The robes are sooo soft. I had the head to toe relaxation package. The facial was my favorite part. The massage was good. The pedicure was about average.They were doing some renovations while we were at the spa, which was kinda annoying. Sanding and hammering. Kinda took the experience down a little. But still had a great day. The peach tea was fabulous!!

Perfectly beautiful and serene experience. I have overreactive airways with asthma, so the aromas at the entry were a little too strong for me, but they had a room waiting for me with no strong scent, as requested.

My partner and I had scheduled a 90 minute couples session weeks in advance and were confirmed for this appointment last evening. This morning we received a call that we would have to reschedule it due to a therapist being out.The next appointment at the location that allows us to go for the time requested is a whole month out from today, which is the wait we already went through for this one.I understand that life happens to everyone including therapists, but Woodhouse also has a cancellation policy that allows you all to charge clients in the event that we don’t make our appointments either in order to compensate therapists for their time.I believe altering our schedule, especially for something lengthy should require the same. I was disappointed that after speaking to staff at the location, there was no accommodation being made. We are not asking for free massages but there was nothing being offered for the inconvenience, except offering us to take a reduction of the time from 80 to 50.It’s been frustrating trying to get an appointment with Woodhouse and customer service has not been meeting expectation of the cost it takes to attend.

My mom and I did the Head To Toe spa package which includes a massage, facial, and pedicure. We were highly satisfied with each services. We loved everyone we worked with and had great results with each treatment. My mom is hooked on the facials in particular. We will be back!

This is such an amazing place!! I love everything about Woodhouse Day Spa, from the moment you walk in staff members make you feel so welcomed and relaxed. It is such a peaceful environment, staff members are very professional and helpful. I have been there a few times for massages and facials mostly; both service experiences have been beyond amazing! My current skin specialist is Jason and he is just the best! He has been beyond helpful, super professional and my skin is showing so much improvement. I have never felt my skin so clear, bright and beautiful in a long time since Ive been going to the Woodhouse. I would say it is a little bit more expensive than other places regarding to skin care but it is absolutely worth it! you wont regret it!!

I frequent the Rim location and cannot recommend the Woodhouse more! I usually go in for the agave nectar pedicure or a massage (both of which are always incredible), but recently went in for their Signature Pedicure and let me tell you-WORTH IT! The service was amazing! The hot stones and hand massage had me completely blissed out. Julie was amazing! I love all the little touches at the Woodhouse from being greeted as I walked in and offered hot tea, to the warm neck wrap, gorgeous flower arrangements everywhere, and the immaculate facilities. I can’t wait for my next visit!

I have loved this my experiences here so much that I got my husband to go as well! As we age our health becomes more of a priority. Getting routine facials and massages was a goal for this. I have no regrets on the money spent here. The staff is friendly from the moment you arrive till you leave.Hydrafacial had me seeing tightness in skin at almost 40 I havent seen since 30. The Swedish massage has my stiff neck and shoulders relaxed.Give them a try!

So disappointed with the front girls staff,I arrived 30 min early on a Sunday at 12:00 noonto enjoy a cup of tea before my massage.They asked me 5 minutes later, if I was ready for my massage, as soon as I sat down with my cup of tea.My Massage went great, afterwards I went back to the shower and locker area,and they were out of shower dispenser soap in the shower area.I went to the front to notified them, and they proceeded to bring me back some cheap Dove soap.If I go to your Spa and you are selling high end Spa products in the entrance paying station, I expect some high end Spa soap, in the shower area after my massage/facial. This place has been going downhill over the years….I have been going to this locationfor the past 10 years.

I was visiting my sister in San Antonio and we both wanted to do a little pampering. I have experienced different day spas with mostly positive experiences. This experience, however, was incredible. From the moment we entered, everyone was so kind and courteous. I do not know if it is the training they do for their employees but it was consistent with everyone. We had the package that included massage, facial, and pedicure. Ive never had a massage and the person I had was very nice. She asked questions and it was a wonderful experience. My favorite has always been facials. My facial last weekend was the absolute best. Usually, I am somewhat red and sensitive in the face after a facial. I keep my normal skin care routine fairly simple. My skin is STILL glowing and its been several days. She recommended a serum for my face that was a bit pricey but I will say that I am definitely hooked! From start to finish, it was a fabulous time and I highly recommend this location.

This is the second year in a row (on my husbands birthday) that they have called us hours before our appointment to tell us one of our massage therapist called in today . We go there 3-4 times a year for special occasions and this is the 3rd time one of our therapist called in, in the last two years. So it’s super frustrating being parents, getting a baby sitter and planning for this day out and it being ruined.

Overall terrible experience! Let me start by saying this is my second time booking at this location and the first experience was truthfully a good one however this second time around they ruined a birthday gift due to negligence. I originally booked a 80 min session with hot stone add on for 9/4/22 at 11:00am only to get a call days later that the system somehow let me book something that was not available, when I asked if this was common I was told it “never” happens. So they tried to get me to shorten the massage to 50 min and I explained this was a birthday gift and I wanted what I booked. They offered a 10% discount which is really nothing, and they were able to find a opening at 2:00 same day which I agreed would be fine. The day of the appointment comes and not only did they not give any discount they also did not provide the hot stone service at all and still charged me for it and did not apply any discount! I spoke with a worker and she confirmed it was shown on the reservation but they just forgot, my fiancé was looking forward to the service which is why I booked it and they informed me the hot stone charge would be refunded (which could take 5-7 bud days) but that is not the point! I wouldn’t have booked that service if I didn’t want to pay for it. I can’t say I don’t recommend this place because everyone’s experience may be different but there definitely seemed to be a lot of negligence on my reservation and for what it cost to attend is ridiculous. I will be sharing my experience with many others and we are both very unpleased.

For my moms 80th birthday, I scheduled a head to to toe package at the Woodhouse at the Rim in San Antonio which was prepaid with gratuity. After her service, she was charged individual rates rather than the package rate. She called embarrassed to let me know about the situation. I immediately spoke with the receptionist and she recognized the mistake and overcharge stating that they had multiple complaints today as a result of the after hours service support staff. The receptionist took my wrong information which I again corrected. Shortly after, my mom let me know she forgot her very special earrings there while getting her treatment. I immediately called the staff who stated that it was not there and that I should ask my mom to look in her purse. Confirming it was not there, I called to asked that they check the premise again and email me there policy on missing/stolen items. After confirming my email and assuring me that it would be immediately emailed, the policy still has not been provided. I am horrified that my mom spent her 80th birthday celebration overcharged for a treatment that should have been prepaid by me only to leave with missing jewels that she trusted was safe to take off during her treatment. So sad.

I’ve been to the location at the Quarry but this was my first experience at the Rim. The staff were all very friendly. The waiting area was average and provided complimentary tea and water. Offering wine, champagne, and sparkling beverages would be a nice touch. My massage and manicure were average but my facial with Jason was excellent. I love the Hydrafacial MD and Jason was so great that I think I even fell asleep at one point. Parking was a challenge as well so allow plenty of time to find parking during busy times.

This is a great spa and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and it smells great the second you walk in. I got a Scalp treatment and although it felt great I was surprised that a large portion of the 50 minutes was spent with the oil being dripped into my scalp with no massage. The description of this didn’t line up to my experience today. The lower review reflects the cost of service compared to the delivered value. With more hands in massage time or a cheaper price this could have easily been a 5 star experiences

This place is one of the best. Fairly priced. The employees are all kind and helpful. They want to make you comfortable, even if it is your first appointment. If you have ever thought about trying, just call for info. You won’t regret it.

Visited for the first time today (not my first professional massage, just my first time here). Overall a good experience, I got the mommy massage as I am 5 months pregnant. I took away one star due to them only having a standard table so I had to lay on my back. I became very nauseous and had to request to reposition. Due to this, parts of my body were missed (front of legs, inner thighs and neck area). While the place was nice, I would only return after delivering. Maybe then I could get a full experience.

My wife and I traveled from Houston and wanted to start off our weekend with a relaxing duet massage. Upon arrival we were right away welcomed by the friendly staff at Woodhouse, they made us feel extremely comfortable. Do I wanted to get a massage so I called and made the appointment here at Wood House Spa at the Rim. I specifically asked for a massage from a female therapist. I get there early as requested and sitting in the waiting room and they come out and give me a male therapist so I kindly said I think there’s been a mistake and I would like to have a female therapist as requested and then they come back a couple minutes later and tell me they have nobody available on staff. This is so disappointing to go to a high-end area and to a place that I’ve been before and had a such a great experience and yet completely derailed my next experience. So disappointed…

My Amazing Husband to be surprised me with a Massage here today. OMG!! As soon as you walk in you relax. The staff is Amazing 🙌. The experience was EVERYTHING!! We will definitely be back. They even gave me a gift bag for my birthday which was so sweet.

My mother and I recently had facials and we are still feeling the effects! My skin looks fabulous 2 weeks later! While I waited for my mask to dry, she massaged my scalp and feet. I have been to other upscale spas here in SA and by far they are the best!

This place is amazing. It started a while ago I would send my girlfriend for a spa day and drop gifts and champagne and they would set it up perfectly to I send her and her best friend for what we have labeled Bestie Pedi Day and always try to make it special and they always set them up perfectly. The manager Janice is amazing and when they had to postpone because they were short handed, she was more than helpful in rescheduling. They love the pedis and when I send her for spa day, all she does is brag about her favorite masseuse Audrey and calls her My Massage Bestie. Definitely an amazing place with an amazing staff. Thank you so much for making my princess and now my bestie smile.

Ive been driving an hour each way to get to the Woodhouse Spa for their pedicures for 11 years!!! Nobody is better! Youll be wowed by the relaxing pre-pedicure tea and cookies, then the perfect treatments, but the excellent A++++ polish application, even in the darkest shades, is the pure artistry icing on the cake! Oh, but I should mention that the polish stays beautiful for 3 weeks!!!

I have visited this location on three separate occasions, each with a day spa package. I received a massage, facial and pedicure each time. Regarding each service, the only one I feel is great is the facial given by Jennifer. Jennifer is polite, professional and genuinely cares about skincare. I’ve been to numerous esthetician’s and am glad to have finally found the one that I’ll always go back to. She is very knowledgeable and gives great skincare tips.As far as the massages and pedicure, they are both okay but have ever been amazing. Each spa package I wanted to keep Jennifer as my esthetician as I liked her services, and tried a new person for my massages and pedicure each time to see if the services would get better, But they all were subpar. I will continue to go to this spa only for the facial treatments. the facility is Clean and well kept. I’ve purchased their African autumn tea to take home because it is amazing! The women at the front desk are polite each time I go as well.

I received a Lavender and Seaweed Sugar Scrub Pedicure by Vicky G. Vicky did a great job with my pedicure. I loved when she used the sugar rub on my legs and feet. It felt good. Vicky didnt talk to me much so that I could relax. The only bad things about my pedicure is sitting 3 chairs away, the nail technician and her customer were talking alot.I know about the nail technicians daughter doing virtual school, her sister who is getting a divorce, I mean I heard it all and it took away from me trying to relax. I saw a sign that said keep conversations down so others can relax but they did not do this at all. I suggest the Woodhouse Day Spa putting up dividers at the pedicure chairs so customers can relax.

The service my GF got was absolutely amazing! She was extremely satisfied. The low rating is specifically for the front desk experience and how embarrassed the lady made me feel.

My husband and I have come here many times. This time I got the lazy days and it was absolutely wonderful. We have also gotten couples massages and pedicures and have loved it every single time. No complaints what so ever. Will be back again soon!

Went got Signatures spa packages with my bfs mom... place was clean, unique and very beautiful, first time visit front desk ladies were friendly but not much information of the spa just needed to fill up the form, my deep tissue massage with Carl was awesome and amazing if you need strong hands and deep tissue massage Carl is the best. Got facial with Sarah, she is attentive, friendly and exceptional, she goes beyond with diligently little feet rub and hand massage felt so relaxing and pamper with offered glass of memosa even tho they done use facial steamer but my face felt so smooth and soft after all and for the end I got pedicure with Miranda, she is sweet, friendly and did amazing with my toe nails painted and scrubs and rub my feet with agave oil and refill another glass of memosa. After all my feet not rough anymore. We will come back, even tho they dont have pool and sauna because services were awesome

I would really like to give this Location a 5 star review and if I could give two separate reviews, I would. The front desk and care as you enter rivals international spas. The girls are lovely.I originally wanted the seaweed wrapped, unfortunately, due to Covid, it is not available. The Lazy Day Ritual was recommend in it’s place. I was told it was a full body scrub, seaweed bath, and 45min massage.First, I had a Hydro Facial with Jewel. FIVE STAR. It was hands down one of the best facials I have ever had. Her unexpected, but welcomed head/shoulder massage, was better than the next service.I won’t name the provider, I think that is unfair. He was kind. However, he did not do any justice to the service, boosted by the front desk. The scrub lasted maybe 4mins, tops. He slathered a scrub on me, quickly, and with no precision. Only doing my shoulders, arms, and barely to the top of my scapula. He then did the lower parts of my leg, only to the knee and not including the feet. Mind you, I never flip. After I was directed to remove the top sheet and toss it on the floor, before entering the tub. I soaked in the tub m, wishing I had scrub to do a proper job myself. As a single parent, this was a splurge to prepare for an up coming event.He returned and started the “massage”. I tried to relax but while laying face up he spent about 30 sec - 1 minute on my arms. I counted on my legs and it was less than 30 seconds. He spent a little more time on my feet, but not much. I flipped and the last 5-8mins of the massage (shoulders) were the best part of the that was meant to be 80mins of relaxation.If I was being honest. I should have stopped the service on the scrub. I had really hoped it would be redeemable. I thought maybe I had misunderstood the service I should have received.With all that said, I have every intention to return for another facial with Jewel.

We came here for my bachelorette party. It was incredible!!!! I had never been to a spa before and I absolutely enjoyed everything about Woodhouse Day Spa. The service was amazing and I felt like royalty. I got a facial and a pedicure. All the employees were so professional and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to come back!!!

My Esthetician was good it was the business that brought it down. I booked a facial and NO ONE went over what products I needed to stay away from before this type of facial. So I sat there and waited to be called back. At my appointment time I was brought back by my esthetician and told that she wouldnt be able to do the facial I booked because of some of the products I use in my daily routine...... WHAT!? This should have been disclosed when I booked my facial online! Or even when I checked in at the front. Not when I get brought back into the room in my robe. So now I am in an uncomfortable situation, standing there in my robe being told that my facial cant be done and I need to choose a different one. Um OK this is not fun because I have NO idea what else this place offers. We were also in a time crunch now because my esthetician had another client right after me. NOT A GOOD WAY TO START A SPA DAY! The worst part is that this whole thing was so avoidable! They could have disclosed this at so many different times. Just sloppy. The decor is a bit too mature. I felt like I was at my grandmas house. I would love to see the brand modernized so that it didnt feel so maternal. I prefer clean and more modern decor and furniture.

We have been enjoying the Woodhouse for several years now & really enjoy all of their services! They are very accommodating & do their utmost to make you happy! We really enjoy the robe & tea time before & after being pampered! We recommend this place to both men & women!

My mother and I had the unfortunate experience of being indirectly ousted from The Woodhouse Day Spa today, which was supposed to be a birthday gift from my husband. Immediately after we kindly specified our preference for two female therapists, one of the more ambiguous-looking therapists became visibly offended, assumed a defensive, angry stance, pointed at herself and yelled, I AM a female!!!! My mother and I were taken aback at how quickly this person jumped to anger. We were then approached by the manager, who,in very poor judgment, felt it appropriate to tell us that one of the therapists became offended at our request and was uncomfortable providing services at this point. Wanting to clarify what had occurred, we explained that we simply were requesting female massage therapists, as that was our preference and had always done so previously with no incident. Instead of an apology, we were offered the opportunity to reschedule our appointment or to make our appointment at another Woodhouse location. However, we had a hard time reconciling the idea of patronizing a business that cares more about not offending their snowflake employees than the preferences and respectful requests of its paying customers.

Upon arrival front desk person stated my appointment was canceled with a very nonchalant attitude! I ask if I can see someone else due to the fact I just drive 35 minutes she said Noone else was available still looking at me as if my money and time was worthless. After going back and forth with rescheduling I decided to cancel this lady seemed relieved when I canceled .I felt discriminated and disrespected 😪

Love Woodhouse Day Spa! The atmosphere is so relaxing, the staff very kind and genuine. Everyone deserves to be pampered this way. Ive had a massage and a pedicure so far and cant wait to go back for more!

I went to get a swedish massage twice in a 9 day period. David listens to what you need and uses the pressure you need. I am convinced that I need to purchase the series just so that I can remain relaxed. It will totally be worth it! The customer service is superb and the ambience is very relaxing.

Ive had manicures, pedicures, and massages from this location several times over the last three years. Everyone is always very nice and polite. They are very considerate of their guests. Once they asked my guest to move to a different chair in the middle of our mani-pedi which was no big deal to us but they gave us both a very nice gift of godiva chocolate for the inconvenience. The massages are some of the best that Ive ever had and the manicures and pedicures are always relaxing. I would recommend them to anyone.

I scheduled a prenatal massage for my wife. I dropped her off 30 min early as recommended for a new person. She called me 20 min into her appoint to pick her up. To find out they never asked either one of us how far along she was until she was on the table. They offered her an over priced mani and pedi for the price of her massage. She declined and asked for a refund which was made. Knowing it was a prenatal massage they NEVER ASKED HOW FAR ALONG SHE WAS. SHE LEFT IN TEARS! Im sure its a great place, but never have I seen a place make my wife leave in tears for refusing service.

Its hard to give any rating since no services were received. We called, multiple times, to schedule an office spa day. We were told that for a group of 7 a manager would need to call back to schedule this for us. No one ever called back. Their loss, Anthony Vinces gain and maybe ours as well. Anthony Vince took great care of my entire team.

I got a really nasty sinus infection after visiting this place. It has taken me out for over a week I am still recovering. Also I got a facial during my visit and I have been breaking out ever since :( more acne than I ever had before

This was the most amazing experience the only down side is I wish I could have made it longer. I could lay on the table all day and have someone rub me. The atmosphere and staff are amazing. When booking I thought it would be like an average type of place type but I was 100% wrong. Only true down part is the shower did not have warm water.

My spa day was a Christmas treat to help battle the stress of a newborn, 2 year old, and some difficult housing issues. It definitely helped. I dont know the name of the actual package, but it including a massage, facial, and pedicure, and my husband added the manicure.The massage was a full-body Swedish massage. The pressure was a bit much, (even after asking for it to be toned down a little) but it did feel great afterwards. I think my favorite was the facial. It was relaxing, the woman who did it was super nice, and my face felt great afterwards. This was my first facial. The manicure and pedicure were very nice, except that the hand treatment seemed to actually dry out my fingers.After the facial, the next best part was the unlimited tea from Harney & Sons. Take advantage of this while youre there- its delicious!!!

I recently went to this salon and had good time while I was there till I got home and realized my ring was missing. I had received a hand treatment, I asked about removing my ring and the nail tech replied no and after the hand treatment was over my ring was gone. I have contacted the spa about this situation and the spa doesnt want to help they do not take any ownership of the situation! But instead they choose not to help there clients in a situation that there employees put me in!!! Do not go here with anything valuable. You may not have it when you come out!!

I’ve been to this location several times for manis, pedis, facials and foot reflexology treatments. Each time I felt like it was an enormous waste of money. Services are extremely overpriced for what is actually provided. I feel like I’m just paying for the atmosphere and placebo effect, which I’m willing to do to an extent, but not at this ridiculous rate. The facial did nothing. The mani and pedi were average. The foot reflexology was very weak like a massage for a child.

My time with Alfredo was so relaxing!! He knew just which muscles needed worked!! He was professional and very in tune with my body!!

Ive been here a few times now, and I always receive great service! Its pricey, as any spa would be, but completely worth it! The staff go out of their way to ensure I have a relaxing experience, and they provide many different options to suite ones liking. I would go every month if I could afford it!

I like to try different spas in San Antonio area. I have been to all the big and fancy hotel spas, but since I have found Woodhouse, nothing compares. I try to go once a month for different services. The Hydrafacial is the best!! It is pricey, but worth every penny.

The pedicures are the best we have ever had. They’re not much more expensive than other locations and it doesn’t smell like chemicals and it’s never loud.

The Rim location can usually get you in for a same day service. This location has a cozy room with snacks for guests to relax in robe and sandals while waiting for a spa service. I recommend mellow mama (prenatal massage) and swedish massage for relaxation.

The Woodhouse Day Spa is without a doubt one of the best places to go to in order to get THE best massage in town. The service which they provide is beyond 5 star expectations . The staff there are EXTREMELY friendly and very professional. During my last time I witnessed an altercation which made me write this review. I believe the altercation is from the customer that I am currently flagging, reporting as inappropriate,and tagging along my post. The reason why I feel this is necessary is because that technician is one of my two favorite ones to go to, as she does a TREMENDOUS massages for my injured back. Her professionalism and attitude make me want to keep coming to that location. I feel it is EXTREMELY unfair how you treated the therapist, and then had the audacity to come here and attempt to ruin the companys reputation. Simply, because you lack empathy towards other people and judge them based of their sexual orientation and appearances. Your failure to even give this person the chance to prove their skills clearly show your lack of morals and ignorance, especially when you choose to call them snowflakes. I was extremely content with how the technician carried herself very professional by choosing her words very carefully, as I could tell she was deeply hurt by your egotistic attitude as you kept looking at her from head to toe. I felt her pain when she had to make direct eye contact and clarify that she was a female just for your satisfaction, since you already knew this information.Furthermore, The Woodhouse Day Spa even took it a step further to try and accommodate for your extremely rude behavior, and you felt the need to trash the staff and the company. If that isnt amazing service then I do not know what is. I hope to never come across people like yourself in this facility as I come here to relax. I do not come here for people to judge others with homophobic stances in front of me.

I frequent the Woodhouse Day Spa location at The Rim in San Antonio. I love Jewel! She manages to give the upmost attention to detail as well as creating a tranquil atmosphere.

I was not happy with the experience here. The deep tissue massage was gentle and unconfident. The therapist had a cold. The room and bed temperature were cold as well. Would not recommend this location.

If you get the volcanic rocks make sure they use a lot of pressure. If not then it just feels like hot rubbing and your muscles dont get worked.
