Experienced my first time this past weekend. I was shocked at the space and how many people came! It was honestly a really good experience. The workers were friendly and helpful. I love that there is a karaoke night as well! Definitely gonna come back at an earlier time
Deadman Realty and Presidio Real estate held their client appreciation event at Club 90 for Valentines this year. I was a little leary at first, but it ended up being so much fun! I normally dislike karaoke, but the people singing were much better than the usual karaoke singers 🙃 I think singing with a band helped. They could adjust the tempo or chime in as needed. The room was large enough to accommodate everyone without feeling crowded. We were able to bring our own desserts and our guests could order drinks and food if they wanted. I love that Smokers have a patio they can use, so I can be in there. Im allergic to cigarette smoke. My airway closes off in just a few minutes when Im around it. The employees were very nice. I had a few clients who werent allowed in because they forgot their IDs, if we do it again I will have to make sure and remind people to bring them.
Although Hannah is new, she is amazing!!! Takes such good care of us!! Absolutely appreciative for her service and dedication to her section. I hope she never loses this passion. We had to switch sections as our waitress was ignoring my table, but Hannah made the night so much fun! Absolutely amazing! It’s only your second day and you are the best! Hope to sit in your section again! Thanks for making my birthday weekend so much fun!
Depending on where you are at in your immigration process determines if you can enter club 90. A Driver’s License shows a birth date, even if it says “not to be used as ID” on it. That quote only clarifies the person does not have their ssn yet. I thought clubs asked for IDs to ensure someone is 21 or over. This feels like discrimination.
I cannot express enough how amazing Lorisa, Marcus, and Dan are! This is the BEST bar with the BEST employees. This will forever be my favorite bar and I’m PROUD to say we’ve become regulars here!! No wonder this bar has had so many awards it’s the employees! Marcus you’re AWESOME!! JS!
Went for brunch with acquaintances and it was dark and musky feeling since it’s mostly a nightlife kind of place and the old cigarette smell was bad. There was a very nice fireplace going though.Only one breakfast option since the menu has changed and the Bloody Mary I ordered was the worst I’ve ever had. Watery and VERY salty.Don’t think I’ll be going back.
$10 cover charge to attend a privately booked event on the upper floor. $4 for a soda water. I cant imagine what they are charging for watered down Utah drinks. Great views of the sunset from the upper floor.
Dont come on a busy night!!! We sat all night without a waitress... lines are long food was slow. They are not equipped to handle a busy bar anymore. On St. Patricks I saw only one waitress for a whole side of the bar. Every table was full, it often is. Think twice before planning events here. Food is good and music is bomb but really hard to have a good time when your waiting all night for drinks and food
This place is the bomb. The annual law offices of Michael Sund wall and associates at this location and we all enjoy ourselves. Big party with happy friendly customer service place would recommend it for any other business.
Its dirty and outdated, which isnt anything new. However, now they are trying to charge high-end club fees for drinks and covers to listen to music videos. The food is below average, and the crowd is suspect.
Its big! However, decor seemed a bit dated, service staff were nice, but seemed tired and slow ..likely due to volume of people. So yah, LOTS of people, trending toward older crowd, older decor on the inside gave it a vibe of needing a good cleaning, but didnt see dirt specifically, and didnt smell anything bad....just kinda old and frumpy and dumpy.I suppose you do go to see people....and a lot of older people go apparently. Meh. Im not excited to ever go back however....
I was expecting something really bad. Its been 10 years since my husband and I went to a club, when he told me he was going to take me to dance and told me about the place I was worried about the ambiance, to be surprised I had the most wonderful time with all the good music the DJ was playing. We had food and drinks and to be honest the food was disgusting and the drinks were bad, I had a Philly cheese sandwich and fries and there was a chemical taste to it and the meat didnt have any flavor and was very plastic, I had a margarita and it was just ice with water and bit of tequila no flavor whatsoever, then I asked the waitress for a good drink she brought me something that taste it like medicine . This is a good place to dance but not to eat or have special drinks you wont go wrong with a corona.
Went to a paint night event it was good. Loved they served Pepsi and the wings are great. Will be back again soon.
Ive been going there for years and I love it. Everybody there and especially the waitress. Pam
We have been to Club 90 many times. Its a venue we feel we fit in given we are over 50. Lots of younger people bust mostly well established folks like us. Drinks are reasonable, but if you are not from Utah getting to know the liquor laws is a new experience. We love the music and the DJ. Upstairs, when open is also fun. Halloween party is a blast.
Fries and beer are great. Staff were nice and it wasnt crowded but it was a Thursday.
Pretty cool place for older people. The bar/drink service is very slow. Security think they are part of Swat or something. Most DJs have issues transitioning music.
4.9 stars because the drinks in Utah suck lol... Love going here to do karaoke! The atmosphere and regulars there are pretty awesome! The food is good too!
Had such a great time, made reservations to have a birthday party here and it was fun fun fun, staff was great and friendly
For big events, be aware they only have one cashier! The line will be freaking long. Youll be freezing on the winter. Also, you can only reserve a table for 6 people and up.2024.
Club 90 is so supportive of the local community, Im totally blown away the more I learn about the ownerships generosity. They give so much to the community -- providing a space for all sorts of events like poker, karaoke, burlesque and low key music jams and even donating back cash prizes for some events. Its not high brow and events foster a place to be for everyone of all ages (as long as youre 21 😉). Theres a lot of beer options and I was recently (pleasantly) surprised when I bought my friend a drink and our two steins came out to $14 and change. Its like drinking in 2008. It may not feel like the fanciest night out but its got what matters -- a community feel.
Definitely could use an update in style. Was empty until 10:30. Music could use a small update too. Also the lady showing people how to line dance didnt seem to know much about teaching. She was going way too fast for most of then to follow. Not many costumes for the weekend before Halloween. For a fairly quiet night at a bar it was great... not what bars are generally for though.
So we have been here a few times to dance and meet up with friends and the service has been well OK at best. Last night we came to dance, meet up with friends and have a bite to eat. We arrived and after finding a table sat for a good 15-20 min waiting to order drinks. Several servers walked by and didn’t even acknowledge us. Finally husband went up to the bar to order drinks himself. About 5 min after that a server shows up and introduces herself and asked us what we would like……we pointed out the obvious that we had gotten our own drinks but that we were going to order food when our friends arrived shorter. Our people arrived and they had to go to the bar to get drinks as well. Finally said server returned and took our food order. Great right? WRONG! After waiting for over an hour and already asking where our food was, she kept telling us she was Checking on it. Finally she says oh sorry we are out of everything we ordered and that unfortunately for us the kitchen was closed for the night and she said it wasn’t her fault. YES girl It was your fault for not getting on the kitchen staff for whatever cluster F was going on back there. We paid our bar tab and left. Moral is go to dance, order drinks at the bar and forget and forgot about ordering food there. Eat dinner before you go somewhere else. Really bad service.
We were looking for a place to just dance and have a good time. This place is that. Very unpretentious, not fancy at all. Idk what happens later in the evening, but the opening crowd runs 40+. Everybody is just there to have a good time and not impress anyone. Good mix of couples, singles, and groups of friends. Wait staff is friendly and prompt. Drink prices were decent. We would have preferred the DJ mix in some more current music- it was all pretty dated. But we had a good enough time that we will be back!
Had to get our own drinks from the bar as we were largely ignored by the wait staff. We finally got to order food, waited for over an hour, kept getting told it was coming. Finally our so called server shows up to tell us that they were out of what we ordered and that the kitchen was closed so we could not get food. This after waiting on our food for Well over an hour. Warning, eat somewhere else before you come to dance. The waitstaff sucks.
I attended an event in the Green Room over the weekend. What an amazing and great time! There was great music and the food was outstanding! The entire staff was very helpful and Pam was so fun! Thank you Rachelle and all the staff of Club 90 for a terrific time.
Im a Ravens fan who was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Came to Utah as a tourist and heard there was a Steelers club in town. Watched the Steelers versus the Chiefs game and felt right at home amongst the Steeler fans. Very fun environment. Now our waitress on the other hand I was not thrilled with at all. It wasnt the worst service that is certainly wasnt the best, she could use a attitude adjustment.Food and drinks was pretty good at very reasonable prices.
I heard one of my favorite bartenders Keri just applied there and if she gets hired I will be coming here often with friends. She’s one of the kindest most experienced hard working bartenders I’ve ever met. She makes you feel like family! This club would be lucky to have her!
Had so much fun dancing and and mingling with others. It was a good easy atmosphere, with a crowd of predominately 40 to 65 year olds on Friday nights. The club was clean, mixed drinks are a little pricey, but beer is a fair price. The music was awesome, and the DJ played a large variety from country line dancing to pop to some slow music to salsa. He also had an amazing sound system and played requests. Did not have an opportunity to eat here, will follow up.
Decent vibe, music was ehh. Drinks were the weakest I’ve had in my life.
******************Visited last night for a friend that wanted to do a little birthday celebration there. When getting there he reserved tables on the far east side of the establishment kind of on the little step up stage area. That was cool and gave you a little elevated view of the place. As long as you didnt want to consume beverages that would have been fine. There were no waitresses that came up that way but one the 3 little bars were not very far away. Here is where the poor experience happens. You literally wait patiently for 30-45 mins to get to be served. (no exaggeration at all)I made the mistake of leaving my tab open especially since our side was the first to be asked to leave they are closing it down. The bartenders were gone already and I asked an employee where my card might be they went and found one of the two bartenders that were there, not the one I gave my card to but she was a cute blond for a moment prior to being very ugly. I simply asked her is my card here or do I need to call and cancel it? Her reply and I quote was I will check, why would you go and say an a$$hole thing like that. Needless to say I was taken back. She found my card tucked in the register and was happy to be on my way out the door. In a service industry this place is unfortunately lacking severely. Best of luck with your experience... 👎
A lot of potential with the size but the owner doesn’t seem to have any interest in updating the place.
The food was great but the server kept saying she would come back and take our order and never did. We finally went back to the bar and ordered but waited at least 45 minutes to get our food. All we ordered was a French dip and a couple salads. They definitely need more servers. We had to ask about 3-4 times where our food was. Hopefully in the future they could utilize the security guys to get food out to customers. There were a few times they didn’t seem busy and should have helped the servers out.Luckily our entertainment was fabulous, we saw Bells L’Adele and they were awesome.
The security guards are rude and dont know how to treat customers well. Everything is very expensive and of no quality. Probably my fault for not being used to a club of questionable quality.
I went to club 90 on a Thursday karaoke night. There was a good crowd there but there were plenty of tables with a good view. The band was absolutely fabulous and the talent level of most of the karaoke performers was excellent. I thought about participating, but I was a little intimidated by the great performances of other attendees. The service here is excellent, from the attendant that scanned my ID, to the bar staff and waitresses, theyre very friendly and accommodating, and the cost of the drinks was surprisingly low to me. Will definitely come back for another karaoke night.
Enjoyable music, with an older crowd of adults. The bar food is ok, we typically get fries for the table and they were... FriesHad the Taco salad and tots... Yummy!
DJ does a great mix!. Food was cold but decent.Would be nice to see a remodel is the place is full
The staff was rude and the place was dirty. Dont even get me started on what I think was hair in my food.
They have a big space so you can usually go somewhere to be more isolated if you would like. The karaoke stage is awesome and a lot of fun. I feel like the drink pours are small but I have no way to know that for sure.
They place is great. I normally go for an investor meet up every month. Thursday has live karaoke which is pretty great. Service and wait staff is great.
This place is for an older crowd, think 45+. Drinks are pretty cheap comparatively to most downtown spots, music is older, and they have seating for bingo. Dingy but clean.i would not recommend ordering food unless its very early in the evening.
Mixed bag of patrons. Pool tables were slanted so made for interesting games of pool. The place is pretty fun down but very big.
It was precisely what it has always been and will be; the evening started slow, and the staff was not yet overwhelmed, so the food was fresh and warm, and everything you would imagine from a bar kitchen not great, but lived up to the expectations. The staff worked so hard and was friendly when they could be. Portions were reasonable; the quality lowered as the crowd grew as expected, IE food was getting served colder, and drinks were sloppy. It sounds like one or two stars, right? Overall, it was a fun evening. I opted for the bar experience, including loud music, spilled drinks, and the theater involved in bars of this size.
You guys really need to know who to hire!!! You really should get people that actually want to be there. 😡🤦🏾♀️🤬. You need to be patient and friendly to have a job like that. 🤦🏾♀️
My 1st time at a Utah Club, growing up in Tampa Bay automatically gives me insight to clubs, just a fact.I had fun with my friends dancing to a few songs, thats it.The music, brought back memories of boring wedding receptions I was forced to attend in the 90s & 00s. The DJ literally picked some of the worst pop songs from those decades .... if your staff isnt feeling it while at work and not having fun, what do you think your customers response will be. Drunk people will dance to anything, doesnt make the music choices right at all if the rest of the place is standing around. The service was non existent at the bar, a female tender refused me service, but anyone that walked up was helped immediately.... clearly this is because I was not a local. Then, I experienced at the other bar, and watched as clearly regulars had control of both bartenders. The entire vibe of the place changed the later it got, not in a good way. Thuggish ruggish isnt appealing to the customers actually spending real money and having fun, instead of allowing them to make anyone not with their crew, feel out of place. But, bravo, they certainly accomplished that.By encouraging this type of crowd, will ensure the closer if this club in the future.Change your DJ, your bartenders and you might be popular for other reasons and walking around with a bigger wallet.2nd Club I attended last weekend, was on fire! The bartenders were on point, having fun with guests, the live music had the whole place singing, dancing, laughing .... Club was packed full and everyone literally having the time of their lives and spending that cash freely.
Worst experience ever! The security staff is rude, food expensive and takes too much time to be served.
This is a fun place to dance and eat. I love how management makes everyone feel safe. There is a lot of security. When I was leaving last week, I saw one of the security guards walking a woman to her car. You just dont find that at every dance place or bar!
The owner was extremely rude. For a soft drink it is $5, there is also an admin fee… The food was okay (if they get it right). The drinks were decent. The karaoke was decently. A live band, super cool. The didn’t have enough servers. They expected their servers to cover more than they should be. The owner sat back And watched the servers struggle as she was content just being rude to customers.
Very lively and diverse crowd!Drinks are reasonable.
Update: Still Love this place! Owners are awesome and dear friends, still a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Different activities every week, for all interests! Sometimes 3 different events going on simultaneously in the different rooms of the bar, love the food!! Weve been patrons for several years now!! GO, ENJOY!! Hurry up!! Youre missing out!!
I had a awesome time here. However the waitress was slow to check on drinks. Seemed to be focused on larger ones. And the DJ sucked he told me if they dont have a video they wont play it best 80 bucks i have spent in good ol utah
My home away from home. Best live music, dancing, and fun friendships! Also super fun paint nites and other activities like poker Thursdays and Live Band Karaoke! And the food is Bomb! Worth the drive ❤️
I heard it was where the old folks hang out and its true. Was very quiet when i went there alone around 5pm. They basically asked me what i was there, as if i were lost. Great thing was the dollar tacos..
Club 90 is great if you are probably 40-50+ and looking for a night out. It could definitely use a makeover and feels old. But, the staff is nice and they had some great prices on beer. If you are looking for a downtown type bar, this is not the place to go. But, for a bit older crowd who probably enjoy more dive bars over fancy drinks and wall decor, this is still a decent choice.
Amazing club!! Great staff, most excellent band This is your Band. I highly recommend checking them out online. Cant say enough good things about this place. The owner is an active part in everything. I had the most amazing time at Club 90. Met some really cool people that I will never forget.
Fries are awesome. Dont eat anything else, it just isnt worth the gamble. The meat Ive eaten has been so tough and flavorless (prime rib and Philly cheese steak)Why do I go? Live band karaoke! So fun!!!
Love the dj and adult environment.
They staff is very friendly and helpful. My 3 star review is just due to the old carpet and what feels like old stagnant smell and feel to the place. Adding some new flooring would really perk this place up a lot!
Love coming here on Tuesdays for Bingo..... But why, why do you keep charging me for a micro beer when Ultrais a domestic? Then when we ask why we are charged that... We are told... Thats just how it is?? What?? Would really like the owners to respond.
I honestly didnt end up staying because the energy felt unwelcoming. When we walked in, the guy at the door didnt say anything to us. We walked up to the bar and asked if they were still serving food and we got yeah, i guess as the answer. We showed up at 9:30 and they dont close until 11 so we were a little confused. It took 5 minutes for them to find the scanner to scan our ids and then we sat down and didnt really get looked at again following that. Im leaving 2 stars because Ive genuinely had fun in the past there but this was just unfortunately, not a good experience.
Would have had more fun if I wasnt sick but it was very pleasant and the drinks were amazing
I went there last Saturday I paid 2 margaritas with my debit card I signed the ticket and got my debit card back and before we go I order the last one that was paid by my friend in cash but they charge 3 on my debit card whata heck?Im so disappointed to this actitud
Had the worse service in Ten years at club 90 last night. Susan was the server who gave me horrible service.. which I would not recommend her server to anyone!!! I had order their spicy nacho and receive 45 mins later. The nacho were cold and soggy along with the wet soggy chicken yuck I wanted to Barf! Which it turn out to be the wrong nachos... she did not even have the audacity to offer me anything else! She just quickly avoided the situation and ran off to sit and talk to her friends... one of the main reason my nachos were not edible! I later got my tab which two drinks were added that I had not order. I tried to mention it to her but she began to raise her voice at me. Irritated with the with the whole experience and terrible food & service. I paid and hoping to talk to a manager for a refund tomorrow. $43 down the drain. Mind you I was sober not one drop of alcohol.Rate Susan2 out of 10 Terrible attentiveness
Friday night service was the best Ive ever had there. Usually, it takes 10+ minutes to get drinks, even when ordering from the bar directly - longer with the cocktails. However, tonight, Britteny was rocking the floor as cocktail! Definitely good place to dance with out 21 year old drama!
I visited the club for karaoke and Brad (the karaoke DJ) was very nice and supportive of every singer. The woman who was our server was also very attentive and friendly. Great customer service. Business was a little slow due to the virus.Glad I found this place and will be back whenever I come back for business.
The DJ is trash every Friday -Saturday. The atmosphere is great.
Great bartenders fantastic security and the atmosphere was awesome 💯 I had the best new year 🎊
Someday this place will grow up to be ghetto. I keep giving or another shot, and every time is worse than the time before. Little to no wait staff, so you have to stand in long lines to order drinks or food. Plenty of other options, avoid this place. Also there is 1 handicap parking spot for the entire place, and that is a horrible thing for me. I have to show up an hour early to get it.
Very loud, very crowded, very hot. Bathrooms are dirty. Drinks are over priced for what you get. The music is pretty good and danceable. I personally prefer the live music over the DJ, but both are danceable.
Ive been to a few meetups here, which have been great. The side rooms available make the space flexible. Looking at the club and crowd as I leave, it has not been very crowded - which can be good or bad. They have a dance floor and good music. Good food quality to go with your drinks. A little hard to get food ordered. They have 2 separate servers and bills for food v drinks.
Absolutely the WORST place Ive ever been... Im 80% deaf and I was treated like I wasnt even a person.I was given water as a shot of tequila.A blond woman who works there told me I should not be pretending to be disabled and deaf. And than she tried to physically hit me.I would never go here again Im a human with feelings, and honestly that was so bad and mean..
I had fun on Saturday for best dressed at club 90. The music & service was awesome! Highly recommend this place!
Great place to have a great time. I do the Karaoke as often as I can, on any of the 3 days of the week, DJs know what songs I sing and we have a great time.Staff know me and what I drink, and are a friendly bunch indeed.Learning to Salsa with Grace on Wednesday have been a fun experience.Bands on Fridays and Saturday have been wonderful and great to get out on the dance floor and move to the songs.Im so glade to find a wonderful safe place to go and socialize.Im 65 and widowed, they make me feel young and part if a familyThank Club 90.Peggy
You know, this place is a dive. Not a dive like its gross, but outdated. It has a mix of 70s, 80s, and 90s.The food is standard bar food. Not bad.The entertainment is pretty good. The karaoke is some of the best I have heard at a bar. They actually have a live band that plays for the singers. And they are Very good. The people singing was great for the most part. Except for my friends. HAHA kidding. They killed it. But I cannot complain, you couldnt give me enough drinks to get on stage!!!
We have been enjoying the free salsa dancing so decided to order food today to help out the business for providing the free classes. The tomato soup in amazing! Best Ive had in Utah and would never expect it from a bar. We also ordered a wrap that was very good. Cant speak for the club scene here but overall we have been impressed.
The staff was nice enough, but this place is a bit run down. Almost feels like an old casino without the gambling.
Went to see a rock and gem show at the 90 club. It was not busy at all quick service smiles and stones for sale. I give it a 3star not for service that was 5 star but a 3 for the lack of people not a fun, loud, and hopping off the wall night it was chill and quiet if thats your thing!
This place sucks just wanted to to have a drink and dinner and watch a game, when they were slow, service sucked, after I spent $100, They cut me off without even talking to me to see if I was drunk or driving. They also charge a cover, and charge for takeout.
Overall a fun place. Youll find people of all ages here. They offer a free cover to all military so thats an awesome bonus. However I took a star away because the Bar tenders seemed more interested in taking care of the men than women. I basically had to flash someone to get a beer.
Service has improved a lot. Front door staff needs to pay more attention though, they try and charge you a cover even though youve already been in that night and left for 5 min. They need a stamp or something to keep track.
Had a wonderful time with the fellas Karl and Maurice
Great evening of food, drinks, and dance. The pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries was very good and provided enough energy for me to dance the entire second set of Natural Causes (great band). It wasnt as busy as a typical Saturday night, probably because of Utah football game, but that have us more room on the dance floor. My wife and I hadnt been to the club for quite awhile, but we will be coming back more often. We had so much fun. And the staff made the time more enjoyable - Susan is an excellent server.
It is fun but not classy.
First is the perfect location, then the club it self, was mouth watering woman all over the place, but the DJ loves the floor to keep your body moving.on the next PS commercial break we gonna give a new u at club 90 on 90th and Utah tell them the rest
Best people watching ever! It’s definitely an older crowd but the music is great for dancing. The food is meh but the drinks are fairly priced and the bars are well staffed. We always have a great time at Club90.
We loved doing karaoke here and the atmosphere was fun, but the service was awful. My sister ordered a second Moscow mule and the waitress picked up the can of ginger beer and said oh you still have some of this so Ill just bring you a shot of vodka to mix in it lol. We were here for about 4 hours and maybe saw the waitress three times.
If I could give it 0 starts I would. Went on a Saturday night for a friends birthday. Im not much of a drinker but I may have 1 just to enjoy the company. We paid $5 as a cover fee just to get yelled at the entire night by their rent a cop security guards! One thing would be to nicely have people clear the way but not yell and call people names...IN A CLUB THATS PACKED FROM WALL TO WALL! The bar staff was great and im sorry that due to the rent a cops, a lot of people left from our party. Never going again! Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 15 min to downtown slc!
Service is slower than ever. Extremely disorganized staff that is easily overhwlemed if your party numbers greater than two people. It took 34 minutes just to get a food menu to the table with repeated responses of well get someone over there with a menu in a minute. Didnt bother order food to find out how slow the kitchen is. The servers open a tab without asking so you so you end up being held hostage by your own card. The upside is, the pool tables appear to be free if you like your billiards balls scratched and mismatched.
Best place for drinks. Pam and Susan are our favorite bartenders and always make the best margaritas and long islands! They are always so kind and friendly, Id go back just for them!
This place offers one of the best live bands that I have ever seen play in Utah (on Thursday nights). If you are bored and looking for some excellent live music (sung by some extremely interesting people) check out Club 90. It is an experience worth having....mote than once.
The last time we were there it was a nightmare. The waitress was a mess, she charged something we never ask for, even that we didnt sign the receipt they still charged us. Be careful! They lost that day 16 clients our friends are not going to return either, the same happen to them.Plus the environment is turning crazy, many crippy people...
I usually come here for poker. Great games. Staff is awesome. Friendly fun and accommodating.
This place has great food and drinks! Ive been coming here for after work drinks for awhile and Im always happy with the experience. The staff is so friendly and I love chatting with them! Crowd is a bit older which I prefer.
Bar tender was very friendly and personable. Great energy. Food was pretty good as well. Drinks were not watered down and prices were reasonable
If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Due to an employee error they would not honor a huge order we had placed for super bowl. Had to talk to someone who wouldnt give me his name nor would let me speak to a supervisor. He informed me that, Rachel, who is supposedly the owner, has the last say. Her employee made a mistake on an order that we were waiting for and instead of just doing the right thing and honoring the order they decided to be incredibly rude and unprofessional while I was trying to figure out what was going on. The guy I spoke to said hold on and set the phone down and proceeded to have a conversation filled with profanities while I just sat there waiting for him to go check what was going on. He didnt go check anything, I heard every word he said. Dont waste your money or time with them, trash. Complete trash.
Karaoke night, Thursdays, being able to sing with a live band. The band is great, and so is the demand, making it difficult to get the opportunity to strut your stuff. Get there early enough to get your name in. Say before 8:00. Love em though.
If I could give them a zero rating I would. I went here for a candlemaking event planned by my mom and sister for my birthday. Never being here in the first place didnt realize that it was a bar and left my ID at home. Without anyone at the front checking for id we went in. I had been there for 30 minutes before anyone asked for ID. This only occurred when the bar waitress came over. The very nice lady for yaymaker tried to help me assemble my candle quickly. Was harassed about getting removed instead of being treated understandingly by the waitress. So we had to leave. There should be something on their door stating bar or someone at the door to check.
Pam was an experienced bartender that connects with the customer easily. She has created her own form of social networking. Well done. I highly suggest the afternoons there to the quiet patrons and the night life has been suggested to go a little wild in the classiest manner.
Girls can go sleeveless, but not guys. Nope.
We came for the Karaoke night. This was a fun atmosphere and the live band is amazing. The food was delicious as well. Had a great time and highly recommend this for a group event.
Great place with affordable drinks and super service. High energy dance floor with all types of people from young to old. Some in jeans while others in dresses and heels. Ill be back for sure!
Went for a free bar poker tournament at Club90. I could not bring in my water bottle, so I asked for some water and they informed me they were only selling water bottles today for $1.50. Their excuse was they had to do it to make any money. I spoke to the manager and he did not care, so I left. Their loss though since I probably would have spent $10-20 on food and drinks (just wont pay for water!)...and they have also lost any future business from me.
Ill be upfront and say I dont go to many clubs... But if theyre all like this, I dont feel like Im missing out on much. We ended up here because we had several friends in town and werent quite ready for the night to end. There werent many places in this part of the valley, so we ended up here. The vibe was weird, the other patrons were weird, the music was just alright and the drinks were as simple and boring as you can get (G&T or Jack and Coke, basically). Nothing about this place is going to bring me back.
Mainly older crowd. Live band on weekends downstairs and DJ in upstairs dancefloor. They serve food. Plenty of tables. Card playing and pool. Music of all genres played throughout the night. Its a nice variety. Free parking.
I had really bad service! I asked the cocktail waitress to close my tab so we could get a better server. She yelled at me about how busy she was. The bouncers hear her yelling at me and run over to save her. Ill I had done was ask to get a better server now Im surrounded by four bouncers yelling at me. Telling me I dont want to go to jail! Did I mention that I only asked to close my tab! My wife and I went there for a friends birthday party and have some dinner. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
I have never been to club 90 before tonight. I went to see a show with my husband. I paid good money. To start off the door man was not at all happy about his job. He seems miserable. The seating sucked. I paid money to watch this show but if the people set foot off the stage you couldnt see them unless you were right up front. The show did about half of the acts on the floor. Now to the service. We were there a very long time at least two hours. About an hour and a half goes by before a waitress decided to finally grace us with seeing if she could get us anything. (At this point my husband has gotten up a few time to get us dringks.) I asked for a cup of ice water. The waitress never came back. A damn water was even to much to ask for. Also all of the staff were wearing pajamas. I will probably never go back to this location.
I was disappointed from the moment I walked in and paid a $5 per person cover - but it got worse quickly. Geriatric night was in full swing to a moderate band and the Pajama Party that was advertised had 3 people in costume, one of which was our awkwardly unpleasant waitress. Dont bother ordering the drinks from the online menu, the staff doesnt realize they have a website - let alone advertised drinks.
The energy in that building is so odd. Love it though! Bingo was hella fun! Avoid the $.50 beef tacos, but the chicken ones cant be beat for the price.
Never been to many bars in the area, so hard to know how this compares. Unstaffed front desk. Never took my food order, but I was in a large group, so Im giving three stars instead of fewer.
Horribly slow service... clearly they either need more bartenders or better ones. Either way, it took forever to get a drink. I enjoyed the music but the overal vibe of the place is super strange. First and last time going there.
Painfully slow service. I tried to order food from one of the bartenders and she said I only do drinks. Let me get someone who can take your food order? Seriously?None of their three pool tables are level either. The only thing I came for, the foosball tournaments, are gone.
I loved playing blitz bingo!!! Bingo lady was funny and fun. Service was the best I ever had. Finally, the food was really good. I will be back to play.
In general the place is ok but they charged me for soda refills. I cant remember the last time I was in a bar or restaurant that did that. $2 for one soda and they fill the glass almost to the top with ice; unbelievable.Update 7/17/19I have noticed the last several times Ive been there my throat winds up hurting pretty badly. When I looked at the filter vents to the ductwork it was disgusting. That puts so much mold and allergens into the air. Every filter I saw looked like this. If this doesnt violate a health code, it should.
It was a good night and not bad food or drinks but definitely could used two bartenders so the one isnt running around like hes lost. But he did definitely keep up with the crowd.
This place has been running for over 40 years. Pam is the best server and has been there since opening. There are a lot of things going on at once here. It’s a good place to come for food and drinks. Low-key and I always have a good time. But seriously mgmt Club 90 needs a makeover. Like 20 years ago!!
If you like watered down drinks...poor service & bad 80s music this is the place. 5.50 for a small Margarita with 1 Oz of alcohol. .waitress suggests buying own shots for 4.26...9.75 for a tiny drink. I will never go back. Literally ran out of there by 10:30. Definitely older crowd. Mostly senior men
Band sucked. Played good 80s songs. But need to learn ones people dance too. Older lady bartender sucked. Bad service. Acted like we bothered her. Pool sticks had no tips. Boooo
Super diverse crowd. Ive been reluctant to go based on what Ive heard. Had fun. Good music. Good place for people watching.
Expensive, staff security is wild, food is cold and expensive
Beautiful bar with great service. I want to go to a karaoke night. Its honestly one of the nicest bar establishments Ive been to outside of LA nightclubs. Its big and roomy, and ambiently lit for a great time.
Oldies vibe, kind of dingy vibe. Paint night was fun but the clientele in the bar was eclectic and quite aggressive. Service of actual staff was good.
Would go to club 90 for lunch while working in Sandy. The bartender Steph was our favorite. Would recommend the French dip or fried pickles for lunch. Never went at night but hear its a completely different vibe.
Went for a paint nite. Paint nite was great good space for it. Service was okay. I felt like id been forgotten at one point until they finally delivered food to my workspace, which was nice, but I would have liked a bit more transparency.
Crafty Crew is great way to socialize and fulfill my love to create things. Im there every week for an organization meeting. Drinking is not for me but Club 90 is a great place for so many type of events and just have fun
The staff is always friendly and remember your name and what you like. Food is awesome and love the fireplace area. Fun place. Always have something cool going on.
Mix of everyone there. Love it.dancing , food , great staff and they allow us to have meetings in the green room. One of the best clubs in salt lake city.
Rachelle is extremely committed to running an awesome club. She also does as much as she can to help the community and provide a great location for them to host events there. Make sure you check them out.
Fun club! Nice big open floor. Music was great! Bar tenders are funny and friendly. Great night, thank you!
Only saving grace the bartenders are very nice.DJ Swaggy does not play any top 40 of this decade. He plays mixes he dies himself. Not worth the price of admission.
The best club for dancing. Live music and a little older crowd. They always have the best bands that play 80s dance music. Love this place. Just wish it was closer.
What an all around great experience. There are great spaces dance, dine and large to rent or join the fun, the food is amazing, service is superb and they cater.
They have so many fun this to do: Paint night, bunco, karaoke, food, pool, tons of events, live bands, DJ, line dancing, but my favorite is the dancing!! I love to dance! They have it all for a great date night, girls night/guys night!
Lame place for old people. Very slow to no service, staff is incompetent cant even answer the phone or take you order correctly. I think they drink on the job here, that is why the drinks taste watered-down because they drink half and replace with water and rubbing alcohol.
Where do you go where everyone knows your name..... Club 90!The staff treat you like family even when your a Packers fan! And the owners are sweet and amazing. Truly the best food around for a club.
The club is great, with different live bands featuring music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and current music. They have a karaoke room and another floor with a DJ for hip hop and current music. They also serve food and drinks.
The staff was friendly. Asked regularly if we wanted anything. They have free lone dancing lessons which were super fun!
If there was a way to leave a -1 review, I would. The people who work here are rude and jerks. From the front door to the bartenders to the karaoke DJ. We were there for a friends party, had a member with us who said we could use her membership to get in free and was told very rudely by the authority starved front door person we still had to pay $5 each. There were maybe 25 people upstairs when we arrived and my husband put in a karaoke request. 2 hours later, after watching the same people sing over and over, the DJ said he was still 25-30 minutes from singing. And being that we were stone cold sober at that point (see attached photo of ACTUAL SHOT poured, we were done and ready to leave. There is no freaking way that is a 1 oz pour. When questioned the bartender about it, she rolled her eyes, walked away and said thats a 1 oz pour. Horrible workers, overpriced and under served drinks, the downstairs was DEAD on a Saturday night and I will never go to this dump again.
I love it here! The owners and staff are awesome! Theres always so much to do and such great service! We love it! Great food too!
The bartenders and waitresses were some of the meanest Ive ever experienced. I will not go back.
I really do enjoy what Club 90 has to offer. I enjoy the fun atmosphere.I have never been disappointed by the food. Its always generous and delicious.
Owner is amazing. Open mic night Thursday was a blast whether you sang or not. Only downside was location due to construction.
I love Club 90 , Susan , Is the most awesome waitress anyone could wish to have .What a great experience , good people , good fun. And great atmosphere. 👍
Fun Thursday night spot! Kareoke with an awesome live band. Great food. Casual place inclusive of everyone! Got to go place!
Went on a Saturday night thinking there would be a lot of fun people dancing. Had a ton of room on the dance floor due to the lack of people at this club. Will not be back.
We went out Saturday night and we decided to leave where we were and go to 90, we left after an hour because we couldnt even get a drink. The cocktail waitress was so far behind and we couldnt even get anyone at the bar to acknowledge us.
Amazing place to relax and throw some darts! Staff is always on point no matter how busy the night might get!
Its a great laid-back place for us older kids to dance the night away.
Huge place to drink and dance. Has 2 different dance floors and a pool table room. Plays great music for all ages
Fun great bands and great entertainment staff is a tiny bit slow but it is understandable. We love to go there. Food is excellent also
Taco Tuesday is awesome! Not packed, good food, great deals on Porters. Service is good but a little slow.
They should change the name to Club Med because everyone here was over 65. Not saying its a bad place necessarily, its just got an older crowd so the name club 90 seemed misleading to me. If youre looking for a trendy place, with a younger crowd (under 40) I would personally look elsewhere.
This place reminded me of old bars in movies that I watched long time ago. The place is timeless. It was packed with what seems to be regular customers. I was there for a paint night. The place is clean and decent.
Its one of the few places you can go dancing where everyone isnt fresh out of high school. They need to have more waitresses. There is always a problem with finding one when you want something.
Im a 47 year old Navy Veteran. This place is the coolest Club (sports bar/restaurant/venue) I have been to date. Worldwide. It is exactly what a Club should be. Exactly my fit to the socks! .😸😸😸😸😸 SEACATS
Club 90 was 90. There’s no 90 emoji to describe how 90 it truly was. It was 90 percent 90 year olds and 90 percent completely incredible. How would I describe it? I’m glad you asked. Well the first floor is a k&w with carpeted floors and a lot of wood paneling. Immediately to your left is a Smokey poker room filled with angsty retirees. Across the cafeteria are the stairs from grandpas hunting lodge. At the top of the stairs you will be in disco tower where all your wildest dreams will come true. Lit!Bring grandma, grandpa, and uncle Ernie out for a night out in the heart of historic sandy, oh wait, they’re already there and they’re inviting you out. Don’t say no but certainly don’t say yes. Say “yesssssssssss” and then back away slowly to the door where you shut it.
Fun place great dj. Bartenders were very attentive.
Its a pretty fun place to go have fun with the girls on a Friday night or Saturday night.
Always have a great time at Club 90 especially on Thursdays with This Is Your Band live karaoke. Love the food drinks and service. Awesome prime rib
This place is way better nowadays, 20 years ago. Not so much. I would have given five stars but it takes forever to get a drink.
Went to a paint night and karaoke afterward. The staff was very helpful in getting drinks and food out ASAP. The crowd leans toward being older but is still lively and fun.
Staff is friendly, service is great and fun times! Check out their poker night and karaoke! Great weekend stop. Love this place
First time there. Very unique and fun place. Even though it was packed, my server was all over it. I will go back at some point.
Bad service downstairs on weeknights. Bring your own cue if you want to play pool. Great darts and large space. Great for hosting parties at.
Awesome place to hang out. Good time, good entertainment, and a love band karaoke. Definitely going again.
Love this place. I have so much fun every time I go. The staff is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. Ill go back time and time again
Manager is very petty. And doesnt care so much for customer service. The environment was pretty lame. But drink and bartenders were nice
Went for bar poker. Lots of fun people and great deals on drinks. I had the clam chowder and it did not disappoint.
Fun atmosphere. The loaded fries are great. Pizza is meh, but the drinks are reasonably priced and the service is good.
On their website they say no cover charge on the weekends! Now they added the cover charge they should change their website saying that there is a cover charge and the pool tables are in bad shape and you can not play a good game of pool.
Service was horrible. Karaoke band was awesome. But its buzz was killer but the talk from the Mc and the lady about her health issues. Maybe another night might be okay.
Pina colada and bacon wrapped olives are great! Service is lacking though. Fun environment and not super busy when I have been.
I love this place. I compete in Utah idol every chance I get, and Ive got to say these guys always put on a fantastic show!
Havent been in that place for at least 15 years, hasnt changed much but its a very clean and relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to hang out.
Terrible service and rude staff. Why are their two different servers one does only drinks and one only food. This is the only bar I know that does this and it’s stupid. It took forever for our order to be taken. The bartender kept taking smoke breaks when she could’ve taken our food order.
Club 90 is quickly becoming the go to place each weekend. Music and dancing are great and the staff is awesome.
I always have a good time in this place.i dont know if its because its an older crowd but they ay some good music from oldies, old school, new.they dont discriminate music.forget about what song is hot out now.music gets played out TOO much to the point where you begin to hate the songs.these guys put VARIETY.youngsters dont know ish about that....
Lots of parking space. Cold beer and different drinks. Live gigs are fun. 2 ambiences. One on the ground floor and a smaller one upstairs which may be rented for events.
Club 90 has Live band Karaoke, an awesome staff, paintnite, and many other events every day of the week. If youre lucky, you get to hear Rachel sing!
I love the music. Bartenders are great, really nice and friendly. Music is loud, but not super duper loud, thankfully.
Great music with the actual video like MTV when the M stood for music. Large dance floor. Diverse crowd.
