I had the BEST sports massage today. Also did the sauna and reflexologyMassage which were also amazing. The facility is clean but serene. The staff is great. This is a very well thought out facility

Incredibly clean and welcoming environment. I did a float (the water was slightly warmed 😍) and a massage. The massage included aromatherapy and the masseuse had great pressure the room was warm and inviting. Parking was easy and all the live plants enhanced the good vibes only energy

Went in for a Float tank experience, and the spa is SO lovely inside with great service. Was a little bit difficult to find (its where the Black Swan Yoga place is). Would definitely go back to try other spa experiences there!

Nancy was incredible. Highly experienced, considerate and very in tune with the body. She worked magic on me after recent back spasms. Best sports massage I’ve ever had.

After a very busy week of work, my sauna & float sessions were just what the dr ordered! Great way to revamp myself and allow the stress to float away. I highly suggest doing this together. Very clean place, and good customer service/experience.

Really enjoyed everything start to finish. Did the inferred sauna, then the cold plunge, and ended with the leg compression. Everything was nice and clean, staff was helpful and professional, and really enjoyed the privacy of the rooms. Hope to be back.

This place is incredible. They truly have everything you need for a spa/self care day. I love the sauna and fascia blast combo.

I went into the float tanks and then a massage afterwards. Very clear instructions on what to expect and what to do were told by the employee and the rules were posted on the wall as well. You have the float tank room to yourself for privacy. They provided body wash, shampoo and conditioner to get all the salt off. They even provided a robe and flip flops. The floating tank was so relaxing that I think I fell asleep! I could barely tell that I was in water after I settled in! It was a nice experience and would recommend it. After I washed up, I went to another room to get my massage. The massage lady was very comforting and is very good and what she does. I was very relaxed at the end of it. I would get a massage here again!

Just finished my first visit for a cold plunge session. The location was extremely clean and well maintained. The receptionist was informative and patiently answered all my questions. This place is amazing!

I love love love coming here for self care. As a licensed massage therapist and Esthetician I spend long hours on my feet serving others. I find it very important to take time out for self recovery. Any time I have ever visited my experience is always pleasant and I leave feeling like a new person. The float experience as well as the sauna/cold plunge sessions always leave me feeling euphoric. I sleep like a baby after every session. I always refer all of my clients to coming and booking a wellness session for themselves and will continue to do so. If you’ve been thinking about booking, you should absolutely do it! Love it here.

I’ve been coming to Transcend since they were at their Fredericksburg Road location and I have nothing but praise. The staff is always so friendly and inviting, and really work to keep this a tranquil environment. The facilities are very clean and I love the soft lighting in the spaces (plus you can change the light colours in the sauna). I recommend doing the Wellness Day package to really get the full experience. The price is unbeatable and truly a wonderful treat!

A friend had recommended I check out Transcend after my half marathon to help ease some of my sore muscles and pain. I tried out the fire & ice combo and absolutely loved it! The staff were very kind, welcoming, and gave very clear direction. My favorite part was the ambience and cleanliness of the rooms. You really feel like you’re in a whole other world. 10/10 recommend!!

Was staying in San Antonio for work and thought Id schedule a massage here and was so grateful I did. I booked a time and with any available staff and luckily scheduled with Natasha and not only was she an excellent masseuse, but so kind and informative throughout the process and made me feel so at ease. She gave me advice on my daily activities and how they impact my body and it was a wonderful experience. I was also curious to try a Float Session which I did and enjoyed. I ended up booking an additional session with Natasha and tried to book a final one before leaving but she was unavailable on my schedule. Im not a huge spa type of person, but could easily become one if this was in my home town. Highly recommend and dont hesitate to do something good for yourself.

I had an amazing massage from Xylia. Her communication was above and beyond so that she knew exactly what I wanted..As a massage therapist myself I appreciated her attention to detail. She worked my muscles and fascia perfectly. I cant wait to go back!

My experience at this spa was delightful! Great customer service, the staff is friendly, helpful and definitely made my mother and I feel super comfortable, welcomed and at peace. I absolutely love this place. The prices are reasonable. The staff is always kind and considerate. They have all sorts of services. The only down side is that it isnt sound proofed well, so you hear some noise while trying to relax. Personally, it doesnt bother me, just a heads-up.

Very very relaxing and healing. Spent 65 minutes doing the cold plunge and sauna after a hard workout the day before and noticed a difference right after the session. Staff and services were very nice would recommend to anybody

The private saunas and the float tanks are really nice, but if you opt for a massage, know that you have to pay an extra fifteen dollars over the list price to get a therapeutic massage. Otherwise, you get a completely ineffectual relaxation massage. Maybe the therapeutic massage is great, but the relaxation massage is more like a series of limp oily pets, and Ive never had a massage where I couldnt specify the pressure I wanted. In fact, the idea of a non-therapeutic massage seems incredible, since the people delivering the massages are called therapists. I get that deep tissue massages are more work and I understand paying more for them, but Ive had a lot of massages, and there was a ton of room between what I got and a deep tissue massage. It seems dishonest to list a price for a massage but actually require an extra $15 to get anything remotely resembling one.Although the owners response is appreciated, the point I was trying to make is that the standard massage isnt standard, its bad. I chose the standard because Ive had standard massages at lots of places both local and not, and theyve all been better than Transcends standard. If the standard had been more accurately named the sub-par, I certainly wouldnt have chosen it.

Love this place! Ive came to Transcend twice while I was recovering from a leg injury - both times for their Infrared Sauna and Cold Plunges. This spa left me feeling so rejuvenated, relaxed, and overall impressed. The building is beautifully designed and offers amazing services and amenities, as well as a wonderful staff. I cant wait to go back.

Wish I could give Brad & Celina 10 stars. Transcend is an amazing place and the services offered are excellent. If you’re looking to explore wellness and vitality routines, this place is a great start. The “Fire and Ice” sessions have become a staple of my routine, and truly work wonders for recovery. 6 weeks ago I twisted my ankle descending a mountain and this therapy has sped up my recovery at a tremendously quick pace. On top of offering a variety of services, Transcend has become a home-like environment. Both Brad and Celina are excellent communicators and really care for their clientele. If you want to add to your regiment and expect A+++ — come to Transcend!

Cain was great and definitely embodies what this place is all about. This was my first time floating and he explained it great. the massages & couples sauna were also great. Plunge is also clean. Super comfortable and relaxing spot to come. If we were local I would totally do a membership. Thank you transcend for the reset.

I love this Spa and the staff, everyone is amazing and the energy is the best. I love everything from the fire and ice, the float tanks, and massages. The therapists are truly gifted and know the body. I Recommend to anyone looking for a reset, revitalize or recovery.

I came in for a facial with Denise and I am MORE than satisfied!! The results were better than Ive ever noticed on any facial before, and all the products are organic fruit and plant based which I love. Denise took such good care of me and I cant wait to see her again and bring all my loved ones to visit her aswell!! Im looking forward to trying her other services such as the sound bath and shirodarah. Ive also enjoyed a blissful float that left me feeling energized and a couple sauna session that left us both feeling amazing!! Highly recommend this place for all your self care needs!! This was my first float but it was everything I wanted it to be and Im going back soon! I floated on a Sunday for $35, and it was an hour float. I was given instructions when I got there, showered, floated for an hour, and then re-showered. The experience was incredible and relaxing, and before I got next I want to read some tips on how to relax more and or get deeper Into a problem solving mindset! Also, my skin felt amazing after!The yoga is taught by a great and diverse staff, and I think they have some of the best prices in town. The space is cool/industrial/welcoming and is unlike most studios Ive seen. I think Ive found a good home that I can afford to practice at casually, hoping to grow it into more than that!

I have been coming to Transcend to see Diana for facials for months now! Diana is knowledgeable, friendly, and detail oriented. I have never had an esthetician who has tended to my skin so perfectly. Her space is relaxing, the products she uses are gentle, and I always leave feeling relaxed & refreshed. Transcend is awesome! Great spa for a self care junkie in SA. They have tons of different services to choose from.

Thoughtful spa experience. We had massages, floated, used the sauna then did a cold plunge. Customer service was excellent. Price was very reasonable relative to other spas in the area.

I’ve been going to Transcend for around 2 years for yoga now, and I truly can’t say enough about it. The yoga teachers have all been amazing and helped me discover my love for practicing. The owners, Celina and Brad, are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. I’ve tried their sauna, massage therapy, chiropractic, and been to many of their events. Transcend has helped me in so many ways and I appreciate them and everything they do for their community.

I’ve floated here a couple of times, I really enjoy the floating experience. Love the location and how close it is to BSY. As someone new to floating they explained the experience thoroughly and have nice, clean amenities. The staff is friendly and welcoming.I gave four stars because there could be clothing hooks and mirrors in the rooms, especially in the float rooms since you take a shower in there.

I am so in love with the infrared sauna. I have the monthly membership and have been enjoying the sweat sessions! I also have been getting custom facials with Diana! Its helping me get a pre-wedding glow. My skin has never looked better!

I’m from out of town and decided to try a yoga class at Transcend; it was a very positive experience! There’s a sort of rustic/industrial feel to the space which I found relaxing and they keep the room at a comfortable temperature (warm to loosen your muscles, but not so much as to be uncomfortable and stuffy). The staff and owners were great; very warm and welcoming. Also the drop in rate is only $10 which is just wow. Overall, this was a great experience at a very affordable price - try it out!

Xylia will soothe parts of your body & soul that you didnt even realize needed love. The In2itive Integrative massage with Xylia was a profound emotional healing for me. She precisely held pressure on certain areas of tension that always caused pain and stiffness, but the root cause felt to be emotional. I cried several times as the pain was completely isolated, awknowledged, & held, which allowed it to be released! I heard my body tell me, You found me!! Thank you. It was absolutely out of this world phenomenal!! Her energy work, intention, expertise, Intuition, modalities, and the tools she used broke up so much tension all over my body!!!! I adore Denise!!! She does soundbaths and facials for the spa. We originally met while studying for our 200hr Yoga Teaching certification. I feel so blessed that our paths crossed because she has helped me meditate and calm down my anxiety with her gift of healing others. Please do not hesitate to sign up to do a session with her. She takes into consideration everyones needs and comfort levels beforehand. This studio is a home away from home to focus on myself and my needs. You will leave feeling refreshed and thank yourself for putting yourself first.

The staff is friendly and it has a very positive atmosphere. I went to their wellness day event where I got to meet the yoga instructor, masseuse, and esthetician. They were all wonderful and made it a great experience! I highly recommend.

Had a great visit while doing the cold plunge and the salt bath. The cold plunge was very intense at first but afterward I felt amazing. Great alternative to chryo therapy for people that have had issues with that. The salt bath is an experience that everyone should have. Your body becomes completely weightless and your and your mind is at ease to just drift off and reflect. Salina and Brad were very knowledgeable and their facility is top notch.

The spa is super clean and comfortable. I had two massages by two different therapists. They were both very well prepared technically and they listened carefully to my needs.

Wonderful experience! I constantly struggle with shutting off my brain and I also have a lot of sleep problems and a friend suggested floating to me as a way to relax and let go. This was my first time and I absolutely loved it. Transcend has a great atmosphere and the owners are wonderful. Well worth it!

Super cute studio near downtown! The yoga space itself is very small and parking was a challenge, but the business offers so many different services! Yoga, massages, facials, sauna, and float therapy. This studio also has some of the best rates for yoga memberships, drop-in rates, etc. I will certainly be coming back!

I started doing cold plunges here. Theres alot of benefits. The rooms are set up perfectly. Very relaxing atmosphere to do a cold plunge!

Lovely service, owners and therapists were welcoming. Small business, even offers free classes. We did the professional massage for 60 Minutes & Float. One of only three places in the city that do the Float, and it was an enlightening experience.One of the therapists fixed some circulation problems one of us had been having for years! Miracle worker? I only remember my massage therapists name, Kaelan. And he was great. Attentive, listened to what I looked and filled up on it without having to be asked. If only my boyfriend or any guy I dated was this intuitive. (Dont tell!)Not quite a five star because this was honestly my first professional massage and am therefore forced to trust others opinions whom have been to multiple massage therapists. There are some other massage parlors that might offer better massages and techniques (according to members in our party).I liked that they offer free Yoga at different times. Coffee and tea available. Also given cozy robes and individualized rooms. Sauna also available.Celina & Brad were more than ready to answer our questions, made sure we were satisfied with their service. But dont take my word for it. Try it out!

My first experience engaging in float therapy and it was emotionally liberating. As I began my descent into the water I felt my body levitate above the water and float. I remember watching a movie called A little bit of heaven. One of the characters had die and was revived. He was asked how dying felt, he said it felt like floating. Floating there I didnt feel dead but I felt more at peace then I have in a long time. I heard my heart rate decrease, my body was at ease, my mind shifted with clarity, and I started reminiscing on the moments in life that made happy. Staff was educated and polite. They have showers for before and after. Water is perfect temperature. Do not shave or do this if you have any cuts. It did sting a bit in the beginning. There is a lot of salt. The experience was one I will never forget.

I love going to Transcend! It’s worth the drive across town to do a sauna session! Their facility is always clean, beautiful, and their staff is always so courteous and helpful!

I bought a groupon 2 years ago and just went yesterday. There was no questions/hassle with the groupon. The owner happily accepted the value of the voucher. It was a slow night and I was the only person. However, Julie (?) Did NOT hold back. She took me through a full and complete yoga session. She talked me through every move and even gently corrected me when I was doing it wrong so I wouldnt hurt myself.I realized exactly how out of shape I am, but I felt soo motivated and peaceful. I will definitely be back.

Really like the atmosphere of Transcend. Its quiet and relaxing like a spa should be. It was my first experience with float therapy, so I was nervous not knowing what to expect. Most of that went away once all my pre-float questions were answered (and it was a plus not to be treated like I was being a bother for asking). The rest of my nervousness went away once I was in the float chamber and saw firsthand how it worked. Before trying it, I hadnt understood the value of having an entire hour to do absolutely nothing because thats what youre supposed to be doing, so you dont feel like a slacker ignoring your to-do list. Just that parts really relaxing, and being able to just lie there and drift (literally and figuratively) makes stress melt away.I also appreciate the lack of hassle in booking appointments, and being able to reach someone on the phone without it being a major ordeal. I havent tried any of Transcends services besides float therapy, but after having such a good experience with it, Id also like to try the yoga classes and massage therapy. Ive had some not-great experiences with spas and similar businesses in the SA area, their being unprofessional and a hassle to deal with, the services just not being that great and so on, so its nice to find a place where everything goes smoothly.

I love this place. Clean facility and customer service. Also military friendly and discount. I would definitely come back again. The float tank and cold plunge was an amazing experience. Ill pass on the word to highly recommend this place and tell my friends about it.

I was happy to find a spot in San Antonio with a cold plunge; and bonus that theyre right next to Black Swan Yoga. Clean, tranquil facility and very friendly staff. Will definitely return the next time I visit.

This place is so awesome and I’m grateful that it exist. It’s helped me heal from so much pain. I’ve gone so many times and the ladies at the front desk are always so nice it’s so easy to go back and make another appointment. Def recommend it to all my friends.

I primarily come for the cold tub however nerding out and asking questions with the girls who work there assured me that they know their craft very well! They are very educated and will have something for everyone.

Im glad that first impressions arent always lasting. We (the store owner and I) got off to a terrible start. The place is kinda in the ghetto... parking was horrificly confusing... its a spa next to a lumber mill and train tracks... not the most quiet of locations. I walk in the place carrying myself like any bearded, 230 lb, 66 army vet; loud! Little did I know yoga class was going on, on the other side of a concrete wall. I was welcomed in not the most warm of ways, but still welcomed. I had no idea what to expect of this place... Im glad that I purchased this groupon. now, I know youre thinking chris, how can you give a place like you just described a 5 star rating. After I broke the awkwardness by asking the woman at the counter who owned the place. She said she was one of the owners. I told her my experience of finding the place, then finding parking, and then its location. We laughed about it and then we discussed what I should expect while in the chamber. Ive heard that you can hallucinate while in the chamber so I was worried. The owner explained what I should know about. I then was escorted to the chamber and got it. It was a different experience. The cuts on my hands burned throughout the hour but it was okay. I practiced relaxed breathing while in the darkness and found myself in a daze. I thought about a lot of things. I found myself adjusting my body to how I was floating and ended up finding a way to get a quick ab workout. Needless to say, I purchased a package deal and will be returning.

What an amazing new facility. Simply amazing new spa and the staff is so nice and helpful. The cold plunge is a new adventure and the float tanks are back and the rooms are clean with a new fresh design.

This was not great first float experience unfortunately. There were no instructions on the website on items to bring..... so....you have no shower shoes. Your hair gets drenched and theres no hair dryer. Finally, the water in the tank was a bit cold for my taste so it wasnt relaxing.

Transcend Heath and Spa is a great place to visit. I enjoy coming here after tough workouts for relaxation and recovery. A message and a cold plunge does the trick to get me back up and running!

Diana took so good care of my skin, I saw so much improvement on my skin after my facial sessions with her. Not only was my facial relaxing, Diana really broke down on the issues my skin was facing, and helped build me a skin care routine that helped cleared my skin

The problem:- Very poor customer service- No capacity for dealing with issues brought on by their software- Possibly misconfigured the tools they use to do business with customersWhat happened- I scheduled treatments for my anniversary with my wife- I rescheduled one treatment with the link texted to me- On their end, this one reschedule meant the whole day of treatments was canceled- When we arrived to find out about this, the receptionist was not helpful at all in resolving this conflict even after knowing this is an important date for me and my wife
