My parents visited this location around 11 or midnight on 8/16. They were actually at the wrong location and they asked for help from the person at the front desk and he was the rudest person they ever dealt with. We’re from out of town and my parents dont know their way around the city so they asked for his help to find the right location and all he said was “google it”. Maybe he shouldn’t be in the customer service industry if he doesn’t know how to be polite to people.

I had THE BEST relaxed, peaceful weekend here. The staff was amazing to us. The room was perfect! The pool was crisp clean and refreshing. We will definitely be coming bk.

The room was dirty. The floor was dirty, the bead spread had a nasty stain and one of the towels had stains that looked like blood. I do not recommend it.

Great location and the service was superb. Rooms were clean and spacious and they were very accommodating to our family. The price is affordable especially considering the quality. Highly recommend.

Close to base; rooms were way better than I expected for the price. didnt have any issues with the staff in person but the call center it kept transferring me to when trying to reach the hotel was very annoying. on top of that the obviously foreign call center couldnt even get me the actual hotel number (Phone number on google will just send you to the call center)

Had a great 2 night stay during the weekend, Bob at the front desk was very helpful and kind... thank you for the awesome service... i had door lock issue which was addressed immediately...... thanks again will be back.

Cheap and good location.I didnt like this hotel, but lets be honest: at in this $$ range, I think it was good and fair.

Management unprofessional when speaking to guests, roach infestation in rooms, pool isnt up kept during rainy weather, rooms are not as seen online, they have druggies/homeless that will snoop around the hotel for items to steal from guests, then will watch you be stolen from and not assist you in taking care of the problem, honestly..... they probably fake over half their reviews just to not drop under 3 stars. Those who have given this a high rating were probably able to book front side rooms. Those are the only decent rooms on the property and only if youre in those rooms, are you treated properly by management. The back side is kept messy and sketchy looking from lack of cleaning on property to the point myself and the father of my child would get fed up, and clean the property up some ourselves where we stay on it. This is a horrible and very unfriendly place to stay. They dont care about safety or security hazards to their guests. If you ask them to replace a broken lock on the door they refuse. Even if you offer to do the labor yourself. I will NEVER recommend this location. Look at others ones youll probably have a better stay. Not to mention they are guilty of false advertising due to the fact they do NOT offer breakfast as they say online.-Unprofessional managerial staff that will make women guests feel uncomfortable and or will speak in the most Unprofessional manner possible when talking to a customer-Unprofessional illegally working cleaning staff who is VERY rude and will even threaten guests-room service walks in weather your decent or not Ive heard many reports of how theyve walked in on sexual acts between couples and didnt even apologize or offer incentive for their massive mistake-roach infested- dirty rooms because the cleaning lady does NOT clean the floors and bath tubs properly do NOT wear white socks on these floors-I have not been offered room service for my room ONCE in 3 years of staying here nor was I ever offered any cleaning items to maintain it myself- I opted out of their dirty towels and sheets, covering the bed in my own blankets, because the female manager purposely made sure she gave me stained sheets and cover for the bed-All in all unfriendly and unpleasant staff working this location so if you dont take kindly to rude and Unprofessional behavior do NOT stay here- theyve left the shower in the room Ive been in leaking for over 2yrs now-theyve refused to fix my door knowing it is a safety and security hazard. Even when told wed do the repairs ourselves. We would get locked inside the room by the door frame and panel for the door to click into. We informed them of this and they did nothing to repair the problem and tried to blame us for the damage caused by us having to force our way OUT of the room. Which would of killed us had it been a fire emergency!!!

It was okay. There was no room service in the time we stayed however. Not once was the room made up which I would assume is standard in a hotel. The rooms when we got their were pretty clean and well made however. Check in was pretty easy and is open pretty late which was great as our flight got changed so we didnt arrive until much later than we were planning. Check out was easy as well we just left the keys in the room as we had a very early flight to catch. Pretty far from the airport and a bit of an annoying drive to get into the building as its near a one-way street. Was close enough to the air force base where we were visiting my brother. The last night we also had some rain water come into the hotel room and leak from the roof between the room and the bedroom which was so annoying to me as a light sleeper as it kept me up. The room itself was a nice, it had a mini fridge and an air conditioner that we could set to any temperature we would like which was great as some places lock the ACs temperatures. Overall it was an okay experience, definitely not the worst experience I had or the best. Was a pretty quiet stay which I found to be a plus. No one was really noisy during my stay.

Management is very friendly and helpful and curtious. we were there 2 nights and it was not cleaned, only had 2 towels for 4 people. the location to get into the parking lot was not very friendly but over all the experience was good. would stay again if i needed to,

I made my reservation for 3 adults and was charged extra. I paid in advance and when I got there it was like being in the ghetto but it was close to the AF base and I just needed it so I could take a shower and catch a couple hours sleep. When it was time to shower there were only 2 towels left n the room. I booked for 2 days but stayed 1 day and left. I didn’t even ask for a refund. I do not recommend this hotel.

Location was so convenient to reach, service assured by the customer care representative didnt reflect in the reception managers behaviour. Instead, manager behaved bit arrogant initially and cool down later, may be because, I disturbed his sleep or he didnt expect me as a guest, he seems bit choosy on his customers.Room air conditioning was pathetic, it took almost 3hours to cool down the room to a minimum cooling, eventhough the temp. shown was 60°F.

Were about an hour away and our room gets canceled. They still charged our card the cancelation fee, which was the full amount. So we basically begged to at least have our room. We called the front desk he stated that is not my problem. So we contacted customer service and the said they could not help us, either. We had to book another hotel at the last minute. I am definitely disputed this with my bank. NEVER EVER RECOMMENDING OR GOING BACK.

The most disgusting service, location and hotel Ive stayed in. The manager (Mike) was a very rude man. My check in was after 11 p.m.I rang the front door bell for more than 15 minutes. It seemed as he just woke up. He greeted us with his pajamas on! Which he wore for the 3 days we stayed at this horror of a place, how unprofessional. He was nasty, rude, and very impatient. He seemed racist to me because of the way he kept speaking to me. He refused to give me a copy of my receipt. He said he would give it to me at check out. Ive worked in 2 hotels and this is not what we did. That man should be fired! I believe he lives there with his family whos young lady (maybe his daughter) had the same disgusting maltreatment of costumers as her father. I met her at check out and also spoke to me in a very condescending manner. I will NEVER EVER stay in such a disgusting place again nor will EVER recommend it to anyone, not even my enemy. If it wasnt because It was my first time attending San Antonio for my sons Airforce graduation and I was short on time, I would have looked for another hotel. What a nightmare experienced. I would have never given any start rating but had to, otherwise I would not be able to write this review as a warning to all of you. That 4 start rating in their website is BS! Theres no way that horrible place had gotten a 4 review. There were even 2 cockroach 🪳🪳 we killed at the check in lobby. Stay away.

Very friendly staff, room service was excellent! We stayed for 3 nights. They made sure we had a clean room everytime we went out and came back. I think he was the manager he let us be in the pool after hours. Beds were king sized and everything was beyond great. No insects no dirty room everything was perfect & price was cheap. I would come back to this hotel in the feature.

After staying in the room got bit by bugs went to show manager and showed him bites(8) on my arm ,also had bites on my body which could not show due to location on my body and he was rude and kinda smirk. He gave me my $20 deposit and said bye. I will never stay there again and intend to contact our (all) local newscast. I felt he could have given me not just my deposit but at the minimum half of my room payment.

A place when you need to rest, sleep and go. Its a very hard environment and stern staff leaves you ready to go back home.

Rooms were presentable and fairly clean but need some TLC. Man at front desk was a little rude at check in but the lady during check out was very nice. Location is not on the better part of town but we had a good nights rest.

Not an enjoyable stay. I now understand why the rooms were so cheap. The location housed many unsavory people. I left a day early and I wasnt offered a refund or asked why I was leaving. Being so close to the air base and a bit from the airport, there was no shuttle or taxi service available despite being told there would be a service when I made the reservation. They supplied you with 2 1 inch sized pieces of soap to wash with. That lasted 2 handwashes.

This place is a dump. The pics on the website are a lie from the pit of hell! I took pics but not sure if there is a place to load them. It’s dirty, there are roaches the tub had hair in it when we arrived trash all over the parking lot the pool is in desperate need of fixing the plaster is all chipping off there are 2 dilapidated picnic tables there most of the outlets in the rooms don’t work. The lady at the desk is super nice though. I came from MD for my sons graduation in AF pay the extra $ and stay somewhere else. If you’ve already booked here…cancel don’t wait. Bad location like not safe

This was a nice low budget motel. (Remember though you get what you pay for.) Despite what I had seen in other reviews, I found my room to be very clean, smelt well and was well maintained. The only staff I encountered was the front staff and they were very courteous and helpful. Unfortunately I would not stay there again because of one thing... I have not lived in San Antonio for many years, but it is where I was raised and they have one rule at this hotel that would keep me from staying there again... NO GUEST! So I could not invite my classmates and childhood friends to visit me.. Sorry that is too oppressive. Other than that, you would have a regular guest. I also did not like the hardwood floor, but I figure that is more of a health issue than anything. So overall, I felt safe with the environment and the area. Thanks.

I couldnt write a review without giving a star, its not worth even one star. First thing is false advertising, rooms doesnt look like the picture on the website. This is a roach infested place. They was crawling everywhere, blankets didnt even look clean had stains on the sheets, had to sleep on top of the blankets. If I had know that this place was like it is would have never came, had to stay, when you rent a room off the internet, becomes none refundable. So just warning you check it out before you rent from here. Dont make my mistake, will Not be returning.

Not a very good stay. When booking there was no mention of a $20 deposit for not smoking. We do not smoke, but it was ok for our neighbor to smoke weed., that we smelled the whole time we were there. I thought OYO was going to be a good stay, not even close. King size bed with only 2 pillows, that were hard. Do not recommend, bit if you want to do a drug deal, there is a dealer 4 doors down also. Bad location near Lackland AF Base.

I asked for a non smoking but the room smelled straight up like smoke. when we arrived there were two ladies from the happy life leaving a room- looked very sketchy. The room was pretty big and clean, the bed was not comfortable and the sheets had a cigar burn, the entire hotel looked like a shelter.

Its a great place if you are on a budget or trying to find a place last minute. The room was clean and didnt have any weird odors most cheap motels have. Plus its right next to the highway. When i stayed there, there was an altercation outside. I had to wait after 2 in the morning to feel safe enough to bring my luggage inside. Over all place is great but the location not so much.

The most disgusting experience we have ever had. Shame on the owners having the hotel in such conditions!!!Bugs in the room, was supposed to be a non-smoking room and smelled bad, everything was dirty (floor, doors, bathroom,...), Furniture and everything in very bad conditions, too old!The pictures have nothing to do with the reality.The good comments must be bought, cant be true that somebody can possibly value it as a good experience.

I was very happy with my stay here. I did not expect much, but I got more than I expected. The room was very quiet, the staff was extremely friendly, the shower was amazing, and I was very pleased with my stay. If you are like me and would rather go on a budget, this has been the best budget hotel that I have stayed in! One more note, management has been some of the best that Ive seen before!

This review is going to sound a bit strange.In todays world, getting a hotel room for under $45 bucks is kind of insane. Especially given the amount of hard work that goes into keeping a hotel. For the amount I paid, the room was perfectly fine to my standards for what I paid. I stayed Fri-Sun for under $100, including tax thanks to a coupon code. That is an insanely good deal for the quality of the rooms at this location. They come with many extras, wood floors, and BIG rooms.The staff was really wonderful and friendly as well as the housekeepers. Family owned and run and they do care about your safety.The area is NOT a nice area. Be warned that on the exterior you will likely baulk if you are not used to these types of areas. Despite the appearance however, I felt safe on the premises. My car and belongings were all safe. I was never harassed. The beds were very comfortable. The furniture, while old, was still very nice and the fact that it came with free wi-fi, a microwave, and a fridge? Well, there are hotels where you pay triple that price and dont get that.The ONLY reason I am not giving 5 Stars is because of the random surprise $50 Cash Deposit that appeared when I came to check in. It was very late at night and my husband was carsick so if I wanted to check in, Id have to drive down to a shady gas station by myself to find an ATM, so I started crying because Id been on the road for 6 hours already. The desk clerk was kind enough to just let me put it on my card, and Im very thankful for that.I still am a bit upset about the random deposit because:1. I looked through every SINGLE booking e-mail from OYO. There was never a mention of this ANYWHERE. Not even the hint that there may be a deposit. Ive also never been asked to pay a deposit in my life. I understand keeping a card on file for incidentals, and thats perfectly fine. Consider moving to that? And then maybe make the customer put down cash if they do not have a credit card?2. I do not like the idea of the deposit being cash because I am unprotected as a customer if they just keep my money for no reason. Cash seems so shady because I cannot dispute it with my company and it could come down purely to he-said/she-said.In any other circumstance, I would have thought this was a scam if it were not for how kind the staff was to me. I didnt get the impression they were trying to scam me, but had had people probably do terrible things to the room, then take off in the past. I just wish Id been told up front. So long as I get my deposit back, I may even still bump this to a 5-Star Review later.Just state that you require a deposit up front. Other than that, decent hotel! It may not be pretty on the eyes, but its a solid place. So if you are on a budget and just need a place to stay, I really recommend this hotel.To Management Reply: Do not worry. Listed as a “hotel” but in reality was a motel. Everything was filthy and the bathtub was one of the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. If it says anything, I cleaned a bathroom that had not been cleaned in 10 years and this bathtub was dirtier. The room was labeled as “non-smoking” but smelt like a pot store/frat house. I should have done my research, I booked last minute in the airport and I have learned my lesson.

Stayed in a Junior Suite for 3 nights and could not have been happier! The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was very nice with double sinks and a shower/bathtub combo. The moment I got in between the sheets, I was in bliss- very high quality and silky soft. If you go to the third or roof terrace you can get great views of the central.

This place is listed as a hotel but its not, its a motel. Because of this i expected breakfast and a safe stay. I felt lied to and cheated, but it was about 10pm so I wasnt switching to a real hotel. Guy who checked me in had me sign a form that wasnt filled out. It was a blank form which has me extremely skeptical as to whether they would change the details to extort me for money through falsification of information. The quality of the room was fine, I had no complaints there. Obviously it was a little run down but for the price I paid, I wont include any negative remarks because you get what you pay for.

Perfect for Air Force Graduation!The staff was extremely nice and very helpful! Gave us tons of great advice. They helped us with any issues we had with the room and were very prompt! I can say enough about how much we appreciate the staff here.The room was exactly what we needed. Super clean! Comfortable beds, smelled clean every day we came back from Lackland Air Force Base.The only issue we ran into was no fridge. Nothing a ice chest couldnt fix. Plus, there is free ice on site. so, its really not a issue. We would 100% stay here if we visit San Antonio again.

This place is being updated by new ownership. The customer service is impeccable. Friendly staff and very nice looking, clean rooms. Apparently, the old version of this place was a dump under previous ownership, so the new group is working hard on building their reputation. They are doing an amazing job. Hands down, the best value for a hotel room in San Antonio right now.

Overall, it was in the perfect location for me, attending my sons BMT Graduation 😍 The bed was pretty cozy, and the hotel manager and associates where friendly. The hotel clerk actually let me have a late check out, with no extra charge. Great hotel for the price, cant beat it🤷🏼‍♀️

The hotel is outdated and the area is sketchy. As a female travelling alone I didnt feel safe going to and from my room. It felt like the office was just trying to charge as many fees as they could for the smallest things (the room key). The room was pretty clean but the door seemed pretty flimsy and you could hear everything outside so it was always noisy.

We have stayed here on two separate occasions. First my husband and I stayed here for a few days for UIL basketball state championship game and we enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms very close to shops and restaurants. The second Trip was spring break we came back and even brought our kids. This room was clean and cheap ! We were able to spend more money out having a good time then on some Fancy hotel we wouldnt even be in all day. On both our trips staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We never saw any bugs or heard any mice as some reviews have stated. This is not the Hilton ! But it is clean, safe and definitely worth the price you pay . We also never felt unsafe was actually quite place . We will definitely be back again!

Wouldn’t recommend it. We stayed for 3 nights and even since we entered the lobby we noticed the bad odor throughout the place.I talked with the guy ay the front desk four times and he wasn’t friendly at all in most occasions.The place isn’t that clean, we even found a syringe in the AC! We booked two rooms and one of them had a HORRIBLE bed.

I was a victim of my own quick booking fingers and found myself in less than desirable conditions once again. On the plus side you dont need an alarm clock. The lovely guests begin their yelling and arguing outside your door around 4am; eh, closer to 5am to be fair. The bed was comfortable though and I slept like a rock. Possibly due to sitting in an airport the day prior for 18hrs due to a canceled flight but who knows.Anyway, I dont recommend but make your own choices.

For my sons BMT graduation we stayed at the Oyo Hotel Lackland North. I was hesitant to do so because of some bad reviews I saw. I booked the room a few weeks prior and I didnt want to deal with finding a new one so I kept it. If im being totally honest it wasnt bad at all. The lady in the front desk was courteous, friendly and professional. I had no problems with housekeeping. The rooms were clean. I needed something so I called room service and they came in a timely manner and she was very nice about it even though it was a bit late, the hotel was very lighted and I felt safe. The rooms werent the greatest but for the price they werent bad at all. I didnt encounter any problems what so ever. Im just giving you my review from personal experience in staying here.. to each their own

This place was by far the best of the three hotels that I saw on the side of town. The parking lot felt safe. The family running it were very hospitable. Yes they have a $50 cash deposit that I didnt even get charged for my 3 night stay. Somebody else in my group did have to put the deposit down and got it back with no issues.

Weve just returned from a wonderful two night stay at this hotel and I can honestly say it was fantastic! The staff were so helpful and friendly, the location was perfect - the main attractions on the doorstep, rooms beautifully decorated and clean, the roof garden a haven, breakfasts were excellent and the complimentary afternoon tea a real bonus. Would definitely return there without a doubt!

If I could, I would have given my stay 0 stars. You get what you pay for is a an understatement for this place. First of all the room was quite damp upon entering and had a musty smell. It was not clean and the beds were uncomfortable; both beds sagged in the middle. However, these things paled in comparison to what went on at night. Starting around midnight, there was a lot of noise from people going in and out of a room from upstairs. At about 2AM there was a man screaming bloody murder from apparently taking some drugs, stomping up the stairs, down the stairs, banging on the cars in the parking lot right in front of our room and causing such a loud commotion that I was afraid for our family. I figured this would be an okay hotel considering the reviews compared to the others in the vicinity, BUT the neighborhood itself is not the nicest so it makes sense that all the other hotels had such low reviews. This was an odd one out.

The room is nice but the bathroom is really dirty looking I got a magic eraser and tried to clean it but a lot of it is stained and its off putting.My biggest complaint is that the pool is disgusting. There are dead bugs EVERYWHERE. I tried to bring out a cup to clean them out but there were just way to many and I couldnt see a net anywhere to clean it out. It was really gross.

It was a good room size. The room was clean along with the sheets.The gentleman who cleans was so nice and you can tell he puts his all into making sure you, the customer are comfortable!Parking was a squeeze but in all its good.There isnt any internet/wifi, but there is heater/air condition (pretty loud if you want to run it), microwave and minifridge.We did ask for an iron as we were needing to get to a sweet sixteen birthday party and they provided one with an ironing board for us to use and no extra cost! You only need to ask for it

Comfortable place, free breakfast was amazing, staff help us a lot during our stay, Really loved staying here.

The outside needs some t.l.c. and work to improve the appearance, but inside the rooms are very nice and exactly as the photos showed. Everything was extremely clean and in great condition with all devices working perfectly. The staff was very helpful and even went out of their way to help me when it came to more leniency regarding the deposit. I appreciated their guest management and attention to detail in the rooms, and I think that with an exterior facelift this hotel could really be a knockout.

‼️Do not stay here if you had nowhere else to stay. It was the worse hotel stay ever experienced‼️ this is my next attempt at trying to resolve an ongoing issue that took place June 26th. I have called numerous times and I’ve been given the run around and have been transferred over to departments that never seem to answer, I’ve been on hold for countless minutes and hours to no avail. When I booked my hotel stay I specifically asked for a non-smoking room and I was given the total opposite. My son has severe asthma and allergies and is very allergic to smoke. The moment we entered our hotel room, it reeked of cigarette smoke, the sheets looked as if they hadn’t been changed for who knows how long and the conditions were deplorable. I then went to the front desk and ask the receptionist for a different “Non-Smoking” room to which she replied that they were overbooked and had no more vacancy. I then returned the hotel key and said we would be canceling our reservation and that we were requesting our refund. They then stated that the only people who would refund me was Expedia because they have my money. I have called numerous times and I’m just so upset and frustrated over this situation and I needed it resolved. I cannot believe such a huge company like Expedia doesn’t have better communication with hotels and that your customer service is so poor. I will never use your services and I will be sure to inform all my family and friends on Social Media to not use your website. This is ridiculous.

Came to a soccer tournament and oyo had a good rating for the price. Boy was I wrong, smells the sink and the bathroom were barely working. Sheets smelled like cigarettes, not to mention all of the cigarettes holes in the cover.Spent little bit more and get a better place. This place is disgusted.

This place deserves more credit than they get. So many people are too nit-picky to give a fair evaluation of this place. Clean rooms, friendly staff, simple check in, safe and quiet location. Whether you are here to watch a family member graduate BMTS, or vacation, or business, this place is a great choice. Regardless of how long or short the stay, you will not regret staying here. A true diamond in the rough.

It is a cheap decent hotel. The beds were comfortable but everything else about the hotel is very mediocre. A few small flies but nothing serious. Fairly clean. Does the job. Looks a bit sketchy and I would recommend shower sandals but not terrible.

Nice place considering the area. The owner is really nice and friendly. Nice weekly rates and they even have a nice Mexican restaurant up front. A convenient store at the corner and just away from the inner city. I love my stay there. Blue is the man who runs the hotel cleanliness which always very clean. Nice swimming pool in the middle of the back and it’s very comfortable. I would def come back to this place. Kk

We tried booking here, but we didnt stay. We walked in the room and the lock didnt work. It was a non smoking room, everything smelt like wet cigarettes. Non-refundable. And when we complained and went to see if there was another room, the man behind the desk was very rude and brushed us off. Never stay here.

This attractive little hotel, perfectly located in the historic part of old San Antonio, has everything we needed and wanted - beyond expectations. In addition to the lavish buffet breakfast, the afternoon tea (much more than tea) was a wonderful addition, especially for those not used to English dining hours. It made getting through to dinner time easy. The service was impeccable.

First up the positives of this room. One its closer to Lackland Air Force base. Two the room is fairly clean.And now for the negatives, its listed as a suite but these are not suites. No fridge, microwave or coffeemaker. Ice machine is locked in a cage so you couldnt get ice even if you wanted it. There are no hangers on the rack. The whole outside area of the hotel is kinda dumpy. Hotel is poorly marked from street level passing it and there is no hot water in the sink faucet. The towels are kid sizes, so good luck with a shower.Bottom line, if you are coming to San Antonio to see your Airman graduate congratulations and go the quarter mile up the road to the Days inn.

Bugs bit up our ankles overnight. $50 deposit to get bitten up. I dont understand keeping the 40-year-old couches in your nice units that harbor bed bugs. Guests dont need a place to sit bad enough to get bed bugs. Why would you ruin your place that way? Its a shame because the place was pleasant and the staff was pleasant overall.

NOT a good location! Rooms were not clean!! Horrible stale smell! Tv didn’t work. Looked nothing like the pictures. Worst place I have ever stayed and had I not been completely wiped out from the Tennessee to Texas drive , I would have cancelled and looked around.

Me and my family felt insecure in this hotel. The room had smells of smoke and the attendants were not friendly.It was cheap, but not a good experience. I wont stay again.

Cheap, well maintained and comfortable. Top notch housekeeping team that checks on guests daily to see what services theyd like. Clean modern fridge and microwave in room. No public coin laundry machines or coffee pot, also no morning coffee or breakfast but, it is next door to gas station so not a big issue.

Do not stay here! The place is dirty and warn down. I tried to cancel my reservation after 2 nights and they told me to call a foreign number that kept hanging up on me. I’m still trying to get my money back.It’s close to Lackland AFB, but that’s the ONLY thing that’s decent about it. It’s in a sketchy area and the rooms are gross. The water was BLACK when I turned it on. Do not stay here!! The photos online are not the same as this location!

Horrible no security latch on door , office chair in the room was missing a wheel, no remote for TV , I paid for a queen size bed the had a full size. When I inquired about this Nick at the front desk reply was, I wasnt told what size bed was in that room.You would think that front desk management be aware of whats going onwhats going on in the rooms theyre renting

Okay location around fast food. They were big queen size beds the pool with clean the water pressure was great the hotel room and bedding smelled sooooo bad. The AC didnt work. There was no room service. Not enough towels. I would never go back. Ijs

Horrible stay. Walked in to a horribly hot room, where the air-conditioning didnt work, nor did the lights. It smelled like musty BO inside, and was just terrible. My family and I ended up having to leave and find a suitable hotel somewhere else.I will say, the woman at the front desk was polite enough, but I would never recommend this to anyone, ever.

Dont let the area scare you. Ive spent several nites here and have found that they are very reasonable,respectable and rooms are clean. Staff is trustworthy. They may not have the continental breakfast but whats important are the rooms; They are clean and bed sheets smell clean. Great value for your money.

This Hotel/Motel really needs to be updated, there are no electrical plugs for charging devices. The television only had 5 channels which made it hard for the kids to watch TV. The rooms are over priced for what we got. The walls were dirty. All in All... unsatisfactory....the air conditioning was great.

Worst hotel ever. Not exaggerating, live roaches, headboard on one bed was mia, smelled heavily of piss, didnt have clean towels, pool didnt work, lots of sketchy people, drug dealers below us. Rats scratching through the walls, cops there every night we stayed. Thieft. The place was condemned while we were there.

I was extremely impressed by all things at this hotel. It is in an unbeatable location, a five minute walk to the Central and close to a number of great restaurants and bars. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit from the hotel. The service at the hotel is excellent and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable

Wow, what a lovely hotel! Its location is right in the middle of the historic. This small is many things: spotlessly clean, customer service with a smile, a rooftop place that overlooks the City and the Central, an afternoon tea time with coffee, soft drinks and snacks, a wonderful breakfast bar, comfortable beds and lovely rooms.

My friend and I booked our room a few days in advance and when we were still about 4 hours out, at 10:30PM their (rather rude) front desk employee called to inform us that their office closes at 11:00PM. Which was not noted anywhere on the confirmation email or in speaking to them during the booking process. So we were left without a room and out money do to the manager Chris not providing a refund.Very disappointed and we didnt even get as far as stepping into the door yet.

I wore white socks while in the room. Even with little movement, the bottoms of my socks ended up horribly brown. What looked clean was not at all.

Went here with my family and had an amazing stay,.It was a good experience for a low budget motel. The room was cleaned daily,They are so nice here and I will definitely be coming back.

Commuting to my job has been such a hassle. Which is why, when you see this place from the outside. Its not very becoming but, the rooms have been remodeled with flooring instead of carpet and the owners are great. I think the only thing missing now is breakfast!

Great little place for a few days. Near Lackland and SeaWorld. Rooms have been remodeled and bathroom fixtures replaced. Good basic place to rest and sleep. Eateries are nearby.The couple that run the place are nice people and interested doing what they can to help the stay enjoyable.

The sheets were fairly clean and the the lady at the front desk was nice. But quite frankly rhe hotel should be torn down. It was very run down and had a numerous amount of fruit flies

This is the place to stay if you are looking to go to City. The staff is wonderful and anything that you need they are there to help you out. I loved the breakfast, and the coffee. Every day they would have a flyer set up on the tables, and it would show you the area happenings. This is a walk away to the City walk of fame.

We enjoyed the quiet location having said that we found the hotel to be an easy walk to all the main attractions in base north The little courtyard was lovely for a quiet drink before venturing out in the evening. We found all of the staff most helpful and we really did enjoy our stay.

Not perfect but not as bad as others either if anything the smell & heat of the room wasnt ideal but the location, service & everything else was stellar. Id recommend

I killed about 7 roaches and saw twice as many I couldnt kill...the smoke detector wasnt actually connected and there was no hot water the last two days I was there...it was ok the first time I stayed and soooo much worse the second time. Definitely not again.

Room was on second floor had to Ku claim 2 flight of stairs, my spouse has bad back. Room was bare, no cups, no clothes hangers. The neighborhood was creepy. We booked for 5 day, we checked out after first night.

Awful mean rude staff police had to be called beware not safe at all. The put in a room next to a man who harassed my roomAnd beat his girlfriend up from 11pm-5am I tried calling the office no answer police came I asked to make a report to get my money seeing that I was there for a business trip I didn’t get any sleep I was afraid all night. Manger in office can’t remember her name but she has blue contacts in and dyed blonde hair she smokes cigarettes in the lobby she was very rude she cursed at me and slammed her hands on the table I spoke to the owner over the phone he cursed at me and told me that I get what I paid for. I am a very easy going person so please listen when I say this place is not safe not even for one night it’s unsanitary and the staff is absolutely awful !!

For my husband and I’s Annual vacation to TX Horror Nights at Hotel, we decided to stay at a ‘nicer’ establishment. At first the sticker shock of peace between its neighboring and closer to the park locations... We decided to give it a shot anyways.

Its a cheap hotel but perfect just to sleep and be near the AFB.It was clean and everything was working ok (TV, AC, shower, phone)

I would never pay such a high price for a hotel, but it is the only way we could get entrance to the adjoining property the San Antonio Lackland Air Force Base North which is a members only venue. Right away I noticed it is not for mobility impaired visitors. Two stories on a hill with no elevator, and entrance was also stairs. I have bilateral knee replacement and it can be an issue.

The front staff was friendly and very professional, room was clean and bed was comfortable, and bathroom a little small, the tub/shower was big and clean

The hotel was okay. Me and wife found two roaches in room (bathroom/next to bed). Its one hotel to lock cars and hide all valuables with the shady people that hang around parking lot. Some approached my wife and blocked off her car.

Ive been to a few hotels/motels and OYO is the best place by far. The family that runs and operates the place is so friendly. The are 100% concerned with your stay. Il never stay anywhere else when I travel.

The room had cockroaches. The location was close to base but scary. The room did not have much in it. I had to go to the front desk to get even a hanger in my room. I would not stay here again.

This hotel chain requires you to put $100 cash deposit on your room after youve gone and booked it with a credit card,stayed at other Oyo motels no problems just this location,I would stay away from this location.

This place was the worse place ever, I checked in and left when came back there was roaches on the bed dresser and a part fell from the sink took to office never even came back to fix it. Worse experience ever. Never again.

Unannounced cash only deposit upon check in. I was told to get cash at the gas station across the way, they dont give cash. In walking through their parking lot found broken glass and used needles among other drug paraphernalia. While heading back away from this massive red flag of a motel their was a lot of police activity on the street less than 50 feet away.

My wife and I stayed at this Motel for about a week, and had no problems at all. Staff is very courteous and professional
