I use to work at this location some time ago. The owners are amazing people that were always good to me, their employees and customers. It felt like family with all of the staff. Massage is so important and beneficial in many ways. The facials are amazing, too. If you’re looking to relax or you have some knots you need worked out, this is the place for you. Scott is amazing! This was my second time seeing him and he made me feel comfortable, is very professional, and at any moment the pressure is too much you can let him know and he will adjust. The front desk girls are always so helpful when I go in, and answer any questions I have.
The front desk staff was very nice and helpful; I believe her name was Jessica. However, the massage experience was disappointing. The music was horrible and not relaxing at all. I havent been to Massage Envy in a while, and after this visit, I will not be returning.
Jackie is seriously the nicest, most accommodating manager I have ever met! From the very beginning when I had to transfer locations due to a move, Jackie was very sweet and offered to let me keep my membership at the old rate even when they had raised their prices!I have also had financial setbacks twice in the last year and when I went to cancel my membership, Jackie was very understanding and offered to waive my membership fee for a few months so that I could get back on my feet. She genuinely cared about me not losing the credits that had accumulated on my account.This is the best customer service I have ever received in my life. Massage Envy has won a customer for life, and it’s all thanks to Jackie! Anyone who says she is anything but so sweet, helpful, and nice is a flat out liar. Please do yourself a favor and go to massage envy! I’ve seen multiple therapists there and all are wonderful. Thank you, Jackie!!!!
It was a bit of a drive for me but it was well worth it. Kevin worked on my neck & shoulders and get rid of the knots and clicking I had come in with. The lady front desk was not pushy regarding me signing up for regular massages which I really appreciated. She gave me all of the info and fees and was very kind. I was expecting a big sales pitch. If this Massage Envy was closer to my home, Id sign a month to month contract.
Massage Envy has changed a lot and not for the better good. Staff was nice but massage service was just mediocre. The calling center that they use arent helpful at all and doesnt communicate properly to the local establishments. Totally ruined my husband 40th birthday surprise.
After giving so many graces to continued lack of excellence in this locations service/experience, I am going to be cancelling my membership (and I have been a ME customer for years, it is just that after moving here Ive had so many problems). The therapists vary as far as great/good/okay, but the thing that stays consistent is the poor experience with desk staff/management as well as never getting call backs when leaving a message to try to schedule an appointment. Speaking of appointments, good luck trying to schedule one - the availability is always lacking! So over it, very disappointed.

I did not physically get a massage. Today I had an apt booked and had to last minute cancel.. this was going to be my first time getting a massage at massage envy. Super excited because it was gifted to me for my birthday for a prenatal massage. Anyways long story short their cancellation policy is sort of outrageous… my apt was at 10:30. Called as soon as they opened to cancel and they charge $85… more then half the cost of the massage. My toddler was up all night puking. I literally had no way of not canceling without bringing sickness with me… wish they were just more understanding of certain situations. I’m sure if the lady giving me a massage called in sick I wouldn’t be receiving a $85 future credit. All and all just annoyed with the cancellation policy.
It was a great massage! However, they charged my card $20 without telling they were. Janet was helping me, she was nice but I did not give consent to charge my card. When I had a gift card. I was going to sign my husband and I up. Now I am not!
Ive never encountered such a helpful staff! The manager over heard my husband mention he couldnt get the app to work. She walked out of her office and worked to resolve the issue. The lady working the front desk worked to juggle appointments and schedules around to accommodate our requests.I had Tori for my massage and it was the absolute best massage Ive ever had at Massage Envy or spa!
After constantly getting my appointment canceled, IM DONE. This location is poorly managed and unorganized. I’ve made an appointment 3 times and I have constantly got a last minute cancellation. I think the manager was named Jackie, she kept me on the phone for 53 minutes! Who has the time for that? The only appointment I have had was mediocre at best, the front desk was completely unprofessional and rude. I will not be giving this location any of my business.
I had my membership for 2 months and decided to cancel in August. I waited the 30 days and then was charged again in September. I have been trying for 2 months to get my refund back. I love how they were so excited to sign me up and take my money, but when I needed to cancel no one was there to be found. I have called 5 times and every time I call I get, We will put you on a list or We will leave an urgent note for the manager. On top of that the miscommunication is horrible and there was no reminder for my husbands massage. I have now had to reach out to corporate. I still today have not received a phone call back after 5 times. If I could leave no stars I would.
This place is fairly standard for a massage franchise. The quality of therapists vary greatly. There are some really good therapists and some I choose not to see do to their capabilities and my needs not matching. The place is very clean and pleasant. It is very comfortable. Being a large man this statement may be outside my lane but it doesnt seem like a place people may feel uncomfortable about the potential of having something bad happen to them. It feels safe. My wife has always felt comfortable here and shes a small woman. Having a membership has pros and cons. The price for members go up much slower than prices in general. However, if youre like me and dont routinely get to go here you can have a lot of unused visits. They dont expire but I cant cancel my membership without losing the banked ones. I have over 30 banked ones at this moment. If I cancel I lose about $2000 of banked visits. That is a definite con. If youre looking for a membership at this type of place then I recommend them. Just make sure it fits your expectations and you will have the ability to use your visits in a timely manner

They do not answer their phones nor return messages. Poor customer service. My friend and I were trying to book an appointment together. I called and so did my friend. Neither of us got a call back that morning. My friend was disappointed I could not join her. As she left, she noticed the 3 women covering the front were clearly not busy as they were chatting amongst themselves. They closed and we never got a callback. I’ll stick to 151 & Alamo Ranch locations, at least they call you back.
Customer & member experience here is exceptional. I was greeted safely by Kylie and she genuinely got to know me. I had a surgery in Nov and got back to HIIT training for 30 days. Carole, my massage therapist, was kind, communicative, and skilled. Highly recommend

I see scott and he does an amazing job!! I was kind of scared at first to get a firm type massage but realized how benefical it has been getting one. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
After reading some of the reviews that had been posted, I admit that I was a bit sheepish about using the Blanco Pointe facility. I am so glad that I decided to go. I did not experience any of the negative issues others had posted. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable very quickly. The massage therapist (Eden) took the time to determine the areas I felt needed attention and went over and above in addressing my issues. She was personable, explained what she was doing and what I could expect throughout the massage. I will definitely return to this location and suggest others give it a try as well.
I’ve been getting massages and medical massages since 2017 and this was THEE BEST! I prefer deep pressure and hate having to tell the masseuse to go harder. I didn’t have to do that and I felt amazing. I signed up for their monthly service and have already scheduled my follow up appts.
The manager at this location is rude and disrespectful. On more than one occasion she has been rude and unfriendly not only to me but to my spouse who is a wounded warrior. She has resolved to saying that my husband lied rather than her communicating that there may have been a misunderstanding that took place during the conversation between them. My husband would not lie about making an appointment. He was making it for his mother and he suggested that he confirm with his mom before booking her an appointment. She in turn stated this was a good idea and he said he’d call back to solidify it. It’s not his fault she booked it anyway. Her phone etiquette, and management skills are terrible. She claimed that I was speaking over her but I was not she just wouldn’t let me finish my statement while yelling over me and saying that my husband was lying to me. We’ve held a membership for over 18 months and this is not the kind of service we deserve. She just kept telling me “bye” & that she was going to hang up. I’m telling anyone who’ll listen not to patronize this company and especially this location because the managers behavior is appalling. No this isn’t out first incident with her, yes I have prove of conversation and calls.
Lisa is AMAZING and the best masseuse I have ever had. I have been going to her for over 4 years and she is very professional. She listens to your needs and by the end of the session makes you feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
BUYER BEWARE--- I have found the service, facilities and Massage Therapists to be professional and highly skilled. I have had excellent care where ever I have traveled. HOWEVER,--this wonderful experience is almost always soured when it is time to check out and pay the bill. This chain uses high pressure sales tactics and wants to sell you a membership This is a ploy to prepay for massage services and yet they expire in the time frame of the membership... you USE THEM or LOSE THEM, so if you are an intermittent user this is a scam. Gift cards are sold at membership rates but bait and switch occurs at time of redemption and non-member rates are charged unless you bark and complain. Needless to say this spoils the relaxing therapeutic and relaxing experience and you just leave stressed, tense and pissed off. I stopped referring folks for this reason to this chain. So in summary, massage services are very very good... the business side and payment for services--very poor customer service. I wont be returning and it is sad as the therapists are knowledgeable, highly skilled and provide excellent care.

If you’re thinking about coming here just leave it at that don’t even step foot in this place. All though the front desk girls are very friendly. The structure in this place is SO HORRIBLE.. and when I say structure I mean the management. Not just the manager herself the owners as well. And I believe it’s because the owners allowed their poor excuse of a daughter to manage a massage client when she can barely mange her everyday life.. I’ve canceled my membership LAST YEAR… and I’m still getting charge for it. I call but you try getting anyone on the phone.. the manager their is super rude but you can’t call and complain because the owners her father so the message won’t get across and not action will be taken.. rn they are going through a huge lawsuit because the ownership is taking money out of the company for personal pleasure. But little do they know their daughter is stealing money from under the counter. I’m not even employed at this place but I learned all this with about 2/3 visit to their client. I don’t believe anyone should come to this location. If you do make sure you disinfect yourself 100% keep you’re mask on I REPEAT KEEP YOURE MASK ON. Because covid hangs out here ALOT!! They are rude and dismissive. They do not try to help. I can easily tell they do not value their members. I was trying to sign up for the membership but their membership prices are actually just regular prices for massages with little perks. I have a family member who has membership but they didnt want to give me the $49.99/monthly discount because she doesnt live in the same house as me.Whoever answered the phone immediately rejected me. She didnt even try to see if there were other discounts I may qualify for or try to get my name/number. She let me go as if I wasnt worth her time. Well, Massage Envy, youre not worth my time or money.
VERY UNHAPPY!I had been a member for many years, but for the past 9 months, have not been able to get an appointment at any of the 4 locations. Finally, I got fed up with paying for something I cant use. I was told to fill out the cancelation form and email it. I did so on 15 June, but I was still charged on 22 June. I would not suggest signing up as a member with this company....
Save your money and go somewhere else manager is super rude and disrespectful to customers with zero empathy as to what a customer has going on personally. They also lie about their “policies”. The lady who signed me up stated I could call and put my membership on hold anytime I needed and being that I just had a baby a few months ago I need to put my account on hold. Anyone who has had a baby knows how hectic life can be especially with a high needs baby. Again save your money and go where they have better customer service.
Do Not waste your time or money at this particular Massage Envy at Blanco Pointe.I had a year long membership which I cancelled ending July 31. On August 7, they “accidentally” auto drafted another monthly charge out. Mind you, I was paying $59 all year long and this “oopsie” was for $70. So no biggie, so I thought. I’ll call and try to get it cleared up. They assured me the membership was indeed cancelled but the new girl forgot to stop my autodraft. But she said she took care of it while I was on the phone. Great! So I’ll get the refund when? They said by the end of that week. So I wait. The middle of that next week, I check my bank. Still nothing. I call ME again. They have the nerve to blame it on my bank. She said they just need to “release” the funds. I call my bank. My bank says there’s nothing pending. So I call them once again. Now, ME is blaming it on their “brand new software,” but they assure, I should DEFINITELY get it within 2 weeks. So I wait 2 more weeks. Actually I waited a little longer. On Sept 20, I proactively call my bank first. No refund received from Massage Envy. Then just following that call, I call ME to tell them I haven’t received a thing and please tell me what’s going on. I even asked for the owner to return my call, as this was simply ridiculous! Well, it’s now Sept 21 and I have yet to receive a call from anyone at Massage Envy.If you decide spend your money here, please know you will get ripped off eventually. In my case, it was curiously when I wanted to cancel my membership. Honestly, it wasn’t even that great of an establishment, and part of the reason why I terminated my membership. It’s very loud. I could always hear doors closing and people talking etc; not so conducive to a relaxing environment. There are several other Massage places in San Antonio. Consider yourself warned.Update: Sept 22No return call from the owner, nor the rep I spoke to to yesterday. No refund either.Sept 25No call from Massage Envy. No refund.Sept 28No call. No $70.Because of my review, Massage Envy’s response was... “contact us through the online portal” but you guys have my phone # and you know how to reach me. I’ve wasted way too much time already. What good will it do me to speak thru a portal. Again, just another delay tactic of theirs. I’m having my bank fight the charge now. I’m done with you.
The front desk ladies are very professional and always give service with a smile. My massage was awesome! I have received massages from several therapists and every one was great, alot of experienced talent at the Blanco Pointe location!
I havent even gone yet and the receptionist is super rude. I expressed hesitancy with giving my credit card number over the phone and she treated me like a crazy person and gave attitude the rest of the conversation. Ive been a Massage Envy member for years and years and have never had a bad experience at any location, with the exception of a few massage therapists that dont fit the style of massage that I prefer. You just have to try a few therapists to find the right one for you. At this location in San Antonio, Stefany is my favorite therapist. Tips: Book early for the best time slots, and be very specific about the type of massage you want so they will pair you with the best therapist for you. Then, be very specific with the therapist, and they will customize your massage for you.

This was the worst massage I have ever received. When I booked an appointment, I asked for an experienced therapist. The girl on the phone told me the guy specialized in sports medicine. I have some serious knots on my neck that trigger migraines. He didnt even attempt to take them out and kept rubbing my shoulders upwards triggering a migraine. He didnt know what he was doing. He then rubbed my back with his arms, not hands, causing dull back ache. I asked him to stop three times, so he started to pinch my traps. At one point he was shaking my body. The massage on my hands and feet were nice. If you suffer from neck pain and need relief dont come here.
The actual massage was fantastic, I give her a ten, but the customer service and treatment I received from desk staff was a big fail. From the moment we arrived, my forehead wrinkled and my blood pressure shot up at the condescending manner of the staff at this location. Leaving the establishment was the biggest relief I received. Second chance resulted in being placed on hold and listening to twenty minutes of gratuitous on hold advertising while listening to myself being placed BACK on hold more than seven times. The last time someone must have accidentally pushed the button as I heard extemporaneous background conversation until someone realized the line was live and hurriedly put me back on hold. When someone finally answered not with im sorry for the wait, how can I help you, instead it was Im sorry, you called at the busiest time on Saturday. Whaaaat? Ill not be returning, and I will be sure to share my experience every chance I get. Good idea, bad service. Not going back.
DO NOT USE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED... Massage envy has a history with the BBB for fraudulent practices. Once you sign up for a health and wellbeing contract, all courtesy goes out the door.This location is by far the worst in the City. Crystal (the idiot at the front desk) is rude at each visit, and was no help resolving billing issues where we were charged incorrectly after canceling our contract.They were so persistent in charging our card after the contract CANCELLATION I had to cancel the card and have a new CC # issued.Total SCAM.

The masseuses are good, but the office staff consistently mess up appointment times, tried to bump me from an appointment I made a month in advance the day before, and most recently denied I have a massage banked I already paid for through my membership. Id recommend trying out massage heights or at least a different franchise.
Ive never had any problems at this location. The staff has always been courteous and accommodating. Some masseuses are better than others, but thats the case at every location. Sometimes it just takes a few tries to find the right one!
I would not recommend coming to this location. The manager is very unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate when appointments need to be rescheduled. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! THEY ARE RUDE AND DUMB!!I am a regular member at the Westover Hills location. My mother and I decided we would enjoy massages for Mothers Day. For her Comfort, we scheduled at the location she went to once before, (where her husband goes regularly and where she and her husband have their memberships) THE BLANCO LOCATION. That day there was an awful storm, and we found we were stuck behind the four railroad crossings down each street to the highway. We called them and let them know we were trying to make our way there but we were concerned we were going to be late. We backtracked to the first street away from the crossings that would get us to the highway. Then found that ALL THE LIGHTS WERE OUT!! There were cars as far as the eye could see. We called and let them know that it looked grim and we needed to reschedule. The girl on the phone was NOT UNDERSTANDING AND CONDESCENDING. We tried to explain that it was beyond our control!! But she was NOT concerned or impressed and stated that she would be charging the $50 fee. We are regular and very loyal members to our respective locations (my mother has 4 massages built up on her plan). After the girl insisted, my mother reschedule with the same masseuse even though my mother expressed concerns that she suffers from osteoporosis and he is a hulking man. (There was NO WAY I would be going back there!) When my mother arrived for her rescheduled appt, today (after leaving TWO HOURS early because she doesnt drive on the highways) the masseuse found out about the osteoporosis and decided that he didnt feel comfortable working on her because she is so tiny!! Evidently this location needs to invest in some CONTINUED EDUCATIONAL AND HOSPITALITY COURSES. The front staff is RUDE AND INCAPABLE of making these types of decisions. This is not a hair salon. They could hurt people!! **BEST PART!! My location, Westover Hills, called after they were informed by Blanco about what happened. Anastasia was super understanding! She was apologetic that we didnt get to enjoy our Mothers Day the way we planned and stated that she would make certain that I would be credited for the $50 charged by the other location!!! NOW THATS HOW YOU DO BUSINESS:)

Gift cards expires. What? What company that wants to make business do this. My friend got me a gift card a long time ago and I save it for a long time until I really needed some relaxation time but I got there today and I cant enjoy my gift because is expired. The card doesnt mention anywhere that it will expire basically no expiration date but on the system is expired. No service recovery available from the representative. So basically no service at all. Ill not recommended to buy any gift cards for friends because if their busy life doesnt allows them to go fast enough they will be as disappointed as me. Neither do business with a company that take your money (my friend in this case) without offering any service, that just plain not fair.

I signed up for a new membership. Every time I come in, I have to update my credit card. Now I have lost all my points and I have to Pay full Retail. Wasted my whole day to get a massage and end up with a headache And back pain.
I love my therapist, but the location in general is starting to become run down. The heat isnt working right and the bathrooms are in disrepair.
