My friend and I arrived at SH this past Friday night. There were literally 3 cars in the whole parking lot. The parking attendant tried to take advantage of us and said the whole entire parking lot was Vallet. He told us we would have to park behind the building and walk around the whole block and past the light to come back into the entrance of social House… I had just taken an Uber there, my friend drove in her late model Mercedes. He thought we were actually going to pay him for valet parking when no one was even there? Mind you my friend and I looked really nice, we would’ve been a great vibe to add to the establishment. Without hesitation, we jumped in her car and drove to another spot. I’ll never be back there…

The good:- Good bartenders- Pretty lights on the walls for photos- Small building and outdoor area keeps you close and makes being social easy- Hookahs availableThe bad:- Nearly every single seat and table is reserved?? I believe there was one single little wooden bench outside that was not reserved.- All the tables and couches are reserved and I’m not sure if that comes with bottle service, but every table was getting bottles and the ladies would come out with the sparklers and fill the whole little building up with smoke.- GPS takes you to the front door/small parking lot which is valet only. Then you have to go around to the shopping center behind it, which is confusing and seems much less safe.

HORRIBLE experience. Arrived early due to limited parking along with other people that appeared to be waiting for establishment to open. Waited in my vehicle until we saw others going in but was stopped by a guy putting out cones and carrying a sign that said Valet Parking. Told us we had to pay, although he didn’t inform the other people they had to. Note, they don’t offer valet parking and I m guessing they don’t quite understand what that means. They are located in a small parking lot with two other businesses and throw out cones and claim all spots but have you park your car in all directions that are unsafe to fit you in. Again,you park your own vehicle. Get in and there are tables reserved with exception of two. We sit at the non reserved table. We are harassed by the bouncer/bar back (because he did EVERYTHING) who sees my car sitting in the same spot and is trying to make me move while not finding out details from the supposedly valet parking guy. Meanwhile, after sitting at the table for two hours, someone comes over and place a reservation sign on the table with a name and says that once that person arrives, we have to get up. They didn’t ask if we wanted to remain there and pay being that it is now crowded with no where else to sit. They just said we have to move. The person arrived around 12 and we left. HORRIBLE PLACE with RUDE SERVICE!

The service is awful.The bartenders scam, add additional tips and double charge you after you leave the facility. I would not recommend, this was an awful experience. Drinks are watered down and over priced.

Drinks were sub par when we were accepted to go inside.Music was current. Strict dress code the second time we went. Wont be back for a third time. Small establishment. Go early to avoid valet parking

Great environment and energy, the staff was very quick and friendly while maintaining an upbeat pace.

Do yourself a favor & go anywhere but here. Came in early & sat at a table. Later on the waitress came up & said someone “bought the table” we were sitting at & that we had to move. So, asked the waitress how much it was to buy a table. She said the cheapest bottle was $60. So, we agreed to pay $60 for a bottle & a table. When we received our bar tab it was $340! When I asked why it was so much, I was told it was for “Bottle service”. I agreed to $60 not $340. I asked her to take it back & The waitress said she would talk to her Manager about the charges. When she returned she said since it was already opened, there was “Nothing they could do”. We were NOT once told it would be that much! They scammed us out of $340 which should be illegal. Stay away from these thieves!!!

Read the reviews and didnt even bother going..... the ownership here should take notice and make the obvious needed changes.

Bartender just over look you and help their friends with drinks, not sure whats up with that. My time is just as valuable.

This place is NOT the place to be!! Customer service is poor and have a major attitude and tried to fight us!! Then the security tried to tell us they dont know who to contact for a refund. They claim the hookah section is a 3rd party contractor and they cant resolve the issue. This business is FRAUD!! Beware!!

Showed up at 9pm per website clarification. Was checked in my by door man and cleared good to go to enter. Staff reacted to us as if we were aliens and sentenced to a bench outside with no service until the boss cleared the 10pm good to go?

Was a very nice vibe. Great drinks. Shout out to the Plus size lady that was there. I love your energy.

We always enjoy ourselves when we hang out at the social house especially on Fridays. DjdoubleR is the bomb. We dance from the time we get there till the time we leave.

Crowded and full of hookah smoke. If your group wants to dance other patrons stare. Lame, wish we’d gone downtown or to the strip instead of driving 20 min north to this weird spot behind a dry cleaner in a strip mall. Know better for next night out.

This place is one of the best dance clubs in town. They play house/EDM/top 40 music and they have an awesome selection of Moscow mules. Beautiful women every where and a great outdoor patio to take breathers. The only complaints I have would be that the parking situation is very limited and the bathroom is small and dirty. Clean it up please!

Great place to chill out and do karaoke. Coffee house style place with great people. Loved it. Will be back soon. Thank you to Calvin And Albert (owners) for taking great care of me and my friends. Such a fantastic night... Didnt want to leave!!!

Music is cool, but they need more bartenders. In addition, the bar tender really to tried to impress me with the 4 bottle grab and she probably poured less than an ounce, total, of alcohol in my drink.I was basically drinking ice and sour mix

At first me and my friends went to the nearby Hyde club and it was kinda lame, so we came over here and it was much better! The music was good because I prefer hip-hop over EDM/dance, & the club had a good vibe overall. I’ll definitely be returning!

The place was great atmosphere. Drinks were great place was crowded but a good type of crowded because everyone was dancing and just having fun but to the DJ that was playing that night (July 19th) was really just letting a song play for a good 30seconds and changes it... It was getting aggravating especiallh when a gooood song was on... Hire another dj.

Would rate lower if possible. If you don’t pay for VIP don’t bother. Music is alright but not worth the trouble with all the other options around. Bar bussed a full beer in a cozie while we danced 2 feet away....staff could care less. Go literally anywhere else on northgate and you won’t be disappointed.

Unfortunately I would give zero stars but there isn’t an option. We ended up there on my birthday and even paid for VIP/bottle service. The DJ plays the same kind of music and doesn’t mix it up at all. The dance floor was practically empty. When I made a song request the DJ said we don’t play that “kind” of music here. I only asked for some upbeat 80s music or maybe some Maná. I couldn’t even get a song request even for my birthday. :-(

I might be a little harsh because Im from Las Vegas, but its just a little ridiculous.So, first up to $250 for a table outside of downtown us beyond me. Its $300 for a table and bottle service in Vegas. You get someone to serve you (pour drinks, tend to ice, etc.) Here i saw just someone bring a bottle and thats it.They had a bathroom concierge dude where he gives you watered down soap, and paper towels. The foot traffic here isnt anywhere near that of Vegas to only pay this man tips.At some point the Dj only played the hook of a song. So maybe 30 seconds max and then rotate to a new song.Honestly, if it wasnt for the good service at the bar I would rate 1 star.Too much attempt to match Vegas for a little lounge.

Love the low-light atmosphere and the exclusivity of the place (kinda hidden at night/dress code, etc.) and they never disappoint with the music. If cheap drinks is what youre into then dont come here (although Ive heard they have specials during the week but Ive never been Monday-Thursday) because they make AMAZING top-shelf cocktails (Old Fashioneds, Moscow Mules, etc.) I would love to get one of the VIP tables for a special occasion some time in the future. Theyre always packed on weekends and bumpin. Definitely a fun place. If youre looking to have an upscale night and dress up nice and got some money to blow on some expertly-made drinks then Social House is the place for you on a Friday/Saturday or even a Sunday night.

Greatest 30th Anniversary Party ever. This place had the absolute best atmosphere for all ages. Highly recommend the Bottle service and the waitstaff is on point. Thank you Social House!

This is an awesome place to get drinks. I usually go for the Moscow mules. Usually there is a DJ Friday/Saturday nights that plays good music but I wouldnt call this a dancing spot. As the name suggests it is a social place. The big reason Im giving this place 4 stars is because of the parking situation. Usually it is fine to park in the lot next door because nothing is open late. But if possible try an Uber or Lyft.

This place is okay. Im not sure if it is the crowd that this place attracts or what, but people dont come here to dance or anything. Really, people arent even talking to each other. People come here to sit on their phones. Its a weird sight, a ton of glowing faces and really loud electronic music. Drinks are alright.

I would give the place a negative number but being that I never been there is will not. Mainly a one because the owner and manager are rude. The establishment is in a good area of town near a quality retirement community but yet, they blast the music on weekends knowing people are sleeping they have no respect for adults and or this area. It needs to be shut down or moved.

Perfect neighborhood gi to place for last minute drinks and a good tome with friends.

My friends love this place and go regularly but three times I have not been allowed to enter.1. For wearing shorts and a button down , it was summer and I was told I was dressed too casual2. Same reason , perhaps I was I admit this time i may have been a little too casual, I wore grey running pants fitted and a black t-shirt. I am not too sure why I was still not allowed because I saw many people not really dressed up. I am a 36 year old professional that lives in shavano park . I am not dressed dirty or inappropriate but I cannot for the life of me figure out why I have been singled out 3 times . So now all my friends and I have decided to not go here . The first time the guy at the door was very rude , I asked him why they didnt allow shorts when its a casual place and he said its not that casual. And another time my grey pants. I work a lot and I am not dressing up for social house but would appreciate if social house was clear on the dress code. If they only want dinner dressed people than they need to apply the rule fairly , why single me out and allow other people in. SH staff have been very rude to me and I wonder if there is another motive other than dress

Please Beware I ordered 2 truly and was charged over $43 I did bring it to their attention And got a refund after I freaked out And was treated as if I did something wrong I was with a group of people that paid for full bottle service Absolutely disgusting how they try to overcharge for $8 drinks Definitely would not recommend this place unless you want to be ripped off

Bartenders were good. Creative when they ran out of the burbon I requested. The outdoor bar was also pretty nice.... decent music selection as well.

The fact that I paid with my card and tipped cash, only to find out they added a tip after the fact on both of my transactions is ridiculous thats forgery and against the law.

Average spot. The vibe is just weird. Weird location. Bartenders ripping shots behind the bar is a good tho. Keep up the good work

This is a great spot for drinks and dancing. Theres a really nice patio in the back with huge heaters when its cold. Lots of fun!

A really interesting experience. A real cool spot. Even though it was cold outside the heaters they had made it feel just as warm as inside.

Worst experience Ive ever had out with VIP. Horrible service rude especially this bartender by the name of Asia. I went to have a VIP table bottle service horrible service. I think theyre also racist. Owner is a joke. I wouldnt recommend going there save your money and time.

Upper trend place and beautiful women with a few gangster wanna-be actors...most of the tables inside reserved so if you want a table get there early.

Definitely would not recommend paying with a card. They took out more $30 charges when I closed out on a one time charge.

I ordered a crown and coke and a sprite; my bill came out to $18.00 on the outside bar! Was this a mistake, the actual price! Or intentional? It’s not like we’re in New York..

Way to crowded and they often over serve people so there are a lot of just wasted people there. Much better places in stone oak to go to.

They charge for non valet parking. Well drinks are over $6 way too packed and the bouncer interrogated everyone who came in. Not going back

I went at night, variety in the drinks menu, excellent music (not Latin), very good atmosphere. An illuminated patio with matching music ideal for chatting or being calmer. Inside you can dance! Excellent womens bathrooms!!!
