Alien Smoke & Vape

Bought a disposable vape last night. Got home and didn’t work. Tried charging it but wouldn’t hold a charge. (Not what I’m upset about)When I tried to return it to get a different one they said they could give me a 20% discount on another one. Not a refund or exchange.

Placed an online order which says it was confirmed. I was than messaged with a text message asking for my ID. I have never had an online purchase ask for my ID through a text message. Not even an email. Just seems a little sketchy. I mean who is to say an employee or ex employee cant just use the photo for something else. It just seems unprofessional. Such a big let down on a very big anticipated order.

I swear every time we come in, even just for a candle, they are so nice. The prices are reasonable and we will definitely come back just for the staff. They are always so personable and dont mind you looking around. They also sell faygo and for a michigander, thats a plus in my book!

First the store was very welcoming!! I love art so it was very cool to see a couple pieces from the ceilings to the walls. Staff was very helpful and informed on what we were looking for. Also wanted to note out they have a great variety of exotic snacks if thats your thing. Go check them out.

Great shop, clean and bright and has lots of products you want to see. Got an elf bar “blue razz Pomo” and it’s rechargeable unlike Escobar and has more puffs for the price. If you are looking for good flavors check it out. The staff helped me pick a better flavor than I intended and appreciate it.

I’ve been coming here for a while now, and the place continues to impress and improve. Not only has the selection grown to the biggest in San Antonio, I also never feel rushed when I’m taking a few minutes to decide what wraps or things to get. For 4/20 they really made an effort to show their customers their appreciation with tons of extras thrown in the bag. It’s little gestures like this that keep me from going anywhere else.

This is my favorite smoke shop in San Antonio! The budtenders are always super friendly and cool peoples. They have everything you need and also run amazing specials. Also if you haven’t tried the Dazed products those are my favorite brand and they carry it all!

Ouuuchhh!! While the staff here is awesome!! Their prices not so much when compared to their FM78 location. Their bubblers ran $35 with a 15% discount even though the original sales person was going to give us a 4/20 20% discount but I believe their owner or a manager dropped it down to 15% coming out to $32. We probably should have stuck with the other location that had the same size and brand for $25 with a 20-30% discount. Little things like that can add and eat you up when you’re looking to spend $150 or so. We winded up leaving most of the extra stuff and just going with the bubbler to show some love. But things definitely felt a little off in the pricing department. Just forewarning! Again great kind and knowledgeable staff! Pricing just brings the stars down imho.

Alien Smokeshop has a customer for life. I stopped by last night for the first time after calling around to other shops in the area only to be told most stores don’t carry 10mm hardware. I am SO GLAD that I did. Sam and Isaac both greeted me as I came in. I told them what I was looking for and they both went about helping me make the most informed purchase I could so that I could have the best experience possible. They demonstrated amazing product knowledge, awesome customer service, and made me feel like an old friend. Alien Smokeshop wasn’t just a stop and shop it was an EXPERIENCE, and I can’t wait to come back for more.Pricing was excellent. Shop was clean and organized with a huge, varied selection. Customer service is better than you’ll get anywhere else. Sam and Isaac are top notch guys, can’t thank them enough for their help and expertise.I won’t hesitate to make the hour round trip drive from my house to shop here again rather than going to other chains that are closer to me - that’s how good they did. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

My boyfriend had the most awful experience today at your shop. He walked in to the shop and had to wait 20 minutes to have anyone come out to help him. He then allowed another customer to go ahead of him because he had several questions. Once that customer had been served, instead of the clerk coming to help him he was completely ignored, the other person in the store was helped. This is unacceptable customer service! My boyfriend has had a similar experience at the San Antonio location multiple times. He frequented this shop and has been a loyal customer for some time. It matters not whether he is a new customer or a frequent flyer customer service should be top priority. You have failed in this aspect of the business.As a follow up:Management reached out to me and corrected the situation immediately. We will be shopping here again and I commend them for their quick response.

Make sure to get a name of who you talk with about product pricing before going to this location.. I called to make sure a price of a Octave Temp Timer, got quoted $130+tax, ended up driving 30mins to get charged $150+tax instead..Will do my best to shop else where from now on.. One of my favorite shops here on the NE. Had to scoop the Crooks Spurs piece they had. Came with the gorgeous water pipe, scooper, carb cap, pendy, and ofc the downstem. We got a nice necklace to match. There is a pendy I am eyeing next hopefully it will still be there next time.

Alien smoke shop and their crew is hands down one of the best shops in San Antonio. I’ve never been to a smoke shop with a nicer staff and friendlier environment. Ali the owner is always super down the earth and keeps it real with all of his customers. 10/10 recommend this shop to anyone looking for any smoking needs.

Ali was nice and appropriate even while taking a personal phone call as I first entered the door and giving me his attention. Ali gave me a great price on a standard double blown piece for 5$

They’re a one stop shop for all your needs and they’re very friendly and respectful. I went yesterday and Isaac was there to help me. The owner aka Alien has amazing customer service skills. He greets everyone when they come in and gives honest advice about what they are looking to purchase. The first time I went, I purchased a dugout, and he threw in a free ceramic pinch hit on top of the one it came with (yall know they always get lost). Today when I went, I was looking for another Ryot brand dugout... he was all out but let me know where it may be available. I wanted to purchase the poker thing it came with but he let me go with it, free of charge. Nothing but good vibes in this shop... and a lot of cool smoking stuff. Its also cool that the workers dont get all crazy if you say anything other than tobacco... because Im not fond of talking in code!Also, they are moving to an even bigger and better location a few doors down. This will always remain my one stop shop for everything. Dont forget to try the random drinks they offer as well (I am very fond of the various CBD drinks and treats they offer). Also, Elfbars here are legite. Not fake like other places. My favorite flavor is Mango Cream!! Enough of my rant, just wanted to treat them right since they always treat me with respect. Thanks again Alien!

Well the only complaint I have is the cashiers have the freedom to give discounts as they feel needed. First time I shopped at Alien I was told that returning customers would receive a 20% discount on certain items. The cashier at the time told me to mention his name and I would get a 20% discount. Well when I returned the other cashier told me it was just 10% discount. I’m not into haggling prices with anyone. I believe that the register should automatically be programmed to give discounts. Bottom line is I was told that a certain product would be $30 after taxes and when I returned for the second purchase it was actually $37, that’s a $7 difference. I think all the cashiers should be on the same page, if the registers were programmed every customer would be charged correctly. If you’re reading this and you’re quoted a certain price get it in writing because when you return a different cashier might charge you a different price.

I came in about 9:50 and the shop closes at 10:00 and Issac still helped me for about 30 more minutes due to me being indecisive lol, but he was very patient didn’t rush and really helped me find what I was looking for this. I go to this shop very often and never have I had a bad experience I also stops at the Babcock location most of the time I deal with Sam and once again alway patient and professional with me!! Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice selection of glass and CBD items. This is a growing company and on its way to becoming a strong presence in the San Antonio smoke shop scene. The owner is cultivating strong relationships with the suppliers he deals with and passes the deals on to the customer. If you are looking for a no nonsense shop that doesnt sell adult toys and useless items from yesteryear then look no further. I recommend you check out their sister shop Alien Botanicals as well .

Prices are kinda high, owner is rude, employees are nice but some of them dont have patience and seem to get annoyed if you ask questions. Theyre in a rush to get you out and this was my 2nd time there looking at their stuff (which is a lot) so I will no longer give them my business

Corey(sp?) was very friendly and helpful in getting me what I needed, the prices were reasonable and there was a wide range of products to choose from. Definitely worth stopping by, they also have a ton of vape juice brands you may not find in other smoke shops.
