The management, employees and security allow people to vape inside uninhibited. Really awful breathing in vape fumes while trying to enjoy a show. This is not a good place for heavy metal shows. The ceiling is very low so the unbearably loud sound is quite ear splitting. Safety could be a potential issue here. They DO NOT search patrons for weapons. Coat check is available for $3, should be free. Overall disappointed with the experience. Especially all those people vaping and getting away with it. Will not be back
Neck of the Woods is a popular live music venue and bar located in the Outer Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco. The venue hosts a variety of events ranging from live music performances to comedy shows and trivia nights. The space is intimate yet spacious enough to accommodate a good-sized crowd, and the sound system is impressive. The bar serves a variety of cocktails, beers, and other drinks at reasonable prices. Overall, Neck of the Woods is a great spot to catch a live performance or grab a drink with friends. The only downside is that parking in the area can be difficult to find
Nice neighborhood dive bar; they host some interesting comedy shows!! If you’re looking to stare at some train wreck awful comedians this is the place. They service is great on weekends but midweek you’ll get a stoned out of his mind bartender who gets your order wrong at least twice.
Great place for open mic. Heard some great music especially by The Henry Co
It was really chill on the outside you couldnt even tell that there was hardcore music playing so their sound deafening or the structure of the building I think lends to it not being too excessive
Wednesday night open mic is great entertainment with Jocelyn bartending its a definite experience if youre in the neighborhood great local entertainment way more entertaining and healthier than watching TV on a Wednesday night. Always fun! Always a nice crowd 👌
Ive been to this place before and it was always a good time. Friends and I went there recently for a 90s hip-hop and RnB night but they were playing more recent music and early 00s songs. The DJ was not good when it comes to transitioning songs and sticking to the right BPM, so it sounded really sloppy. Overall, I really like that lounge.
This was my first time here, I didnt even know this place existed honestly until I went here for a metal show. Saw one if my favorite bands play here and it was awesome! Its 2 floor design is great, bar/ lounge/ merchandise area downstairs. Music and party area upstairs. Will definitely be back here for any future shows.
I used to work here briefly as a KJ. I do STILL love this venue despite my panic attack on the job because its one of the few places my 1st cover band played too.The owners tried to gimme a chance there after embarrassing myself online with what I said about a specific patron at @Pandora Karaoke Lounge, but I failed them NOT the other way around. I had to do some serious self-work and do major self-care for 3.5 years to get my head on straight, finally!THIS place is a really good live music venue just all around. They do open mic and stand-up comedy here as well! I only wished that they served food, but there is plenty to eat in this neighborhood trust me! They couldnt possibly compete with simple bar fare here. The places across from and adjacent to them serve great food. Some stay open later than others, but this is a quiet suburb of SF. Its also after the height of the Covid-19 shutdown 3 years ago. I have to go again to make sure what is open around there and how late currently! Its more low-key than the rowdier, ratchet, known entertainment districts downtown. Its definitely more chill than some of their other bars that I have worked at. I havent been here since I tucked my tail and hing my head in shame after they finally let me go near the end of 2019.Will update this post later after some more recon! #MoreToCome #Trust
I appreciate the free event. The vibe was nice, and the free 90 music club after was a plus. Although, the comedians were not funny. They were getting high outside before the show in front of us all. One guy had his money jar in one hand collecting tips and weed bag in the next hand. One of the guests pointed it out, and then he hurried and put the weed in his jacket... that was actually the funniest thing that night. The tickets online said free, but they should advise, paid people enter first ( this will promote more people to purchase) to avoid standing. Then they make you feel bad and obligated to tip before leaving. One guy shoved the tip bowl in front of me before leaving. I decided to tip regardless, which was more than the ticket price because they looked like they really needed the money...they need to work on their content instead of just trying to get money out of people. Only one guy was funny ( with the locks and worked with David Chappelle). The rest of them need to work on content outside of racial commentary. I appreciate them for getting out of their comfort zone and hosting an invite, lots of people came out, the comedian group was diverse and hope they take this feedback to only make them better.
Star Wars music was fun. Great band! It would have been a perfect venue and a perfect show if the bouncers hadnt catered to the violence of six dudes taking over and pushing people out if the way so they could slam each other and those around them in a mosh pit. I like me some serious metal and understand mosh pits happen. But this was not an appropriate venue. It was six guys using violence to selfishly make it so only large men slamming into wach other could enjoy the show unless you watched from the back. I know this isnt a popular opinion. Bouncers, do better.
Cool venue although quite small: one row of round tables, one bar-side, and one wall-side table. they really maximized the space... gladly theres no pushy security or ticket-person or bartender. theyre all chill, even for a free event.the crazy asian comedy show had a good turnout with good manners (expected). it ran through perfectly, on time n everything. the comedians were all solid, and one exceptionally polished (an older Japanese woman).there was a 90s themed dance music club going later on that night, but i guess i didnt have the patience to wait for a crowd to build.overall i felt this event and venue fit the Richmond district perfectly: 90s asians!
Would be nice if there wasn’t a large, unpapped metal pole in the middle of the pit.
Pretty small place, and drinks were more expensive than I thought they would be. They also didnt have any beers from the Anchor Brewery. I went there for BarCon, and Neck of the Woods is bigger than the last venue, the Back Bar in San Jose, and the stage is far enough from the entrance to not be deafening loud, but there were no monitors showing anime or playing old video games.
It was my husbands and I 2nd Wedding Anniversary and so he surprised me by taking me to this place. This was our first time going. No live music. It was a very different experience. A little ratchet. Not really my taste. He paid for a Champagne Toast which we didnt get. The bar tender didnt know how to make many drinks and the drinks he made were gross. The best part of the night was I found $160 worth of twenties by my foot while dancing. And I ended up puking the rest of the morning, which I never do. We drove over an hour to get there and it was not the best experience.
Fun venue with stand up comedy certain nights, followed by 90s music night. 4 stars because seating very limited during comedy nights. You can buy tickets $25 or line up for free standby entry. They serve drinks and allow you to bring in food. However, i would recommend eating at one of the many Asian eatieries along Clement before drinks. And more: above the Neck is a hip hop cosy club
I went to the venue upstairs, but cant down in between sets. Cool place, different crowd downstairs then up, they have IPNA there so I have something to drink other than soda water.
Loved the Asian comedy night on Lunar New Year, the lineup was excellent. For a free event that was understaffed, it was extremely organized (although a little late), full of a very nice and polite crowd of locals, and was very entertaining.
This place is an awesome venue! Went to the Julie Plug Reunion concert with some friends. They let you grab some snacks but I’m sure that’s going to change when the kitchen opens up. I hope they have an excellent menu in store given how cool the venue is. I am really excited to see what they will serve. There’s a bar for each floor. I got a chance to meet the owner, who is pretty cool as well.
Good, not great sound. Booking person is killing it lately. The stairs lead straight to the bar, which makes a bottleneck for folks coming in and leaving. Otherwise, the place is great
Unprofessional management. Be very careful if you think you have a booked event here because they are not true to their word. Sent inital email to club in March over a CD release show in April. After minimal response, went to club in person and spoke to Danny, who assured us with Oh yeah, no worries, we are a go, I just have to wait til my manager gets back, thats why I havent responded much. 2 weeks passed from the face to face meet up with no response to follow-up emails. Since the show as getting closer and was given the verbally OK for the show from this dude, we started promoting the show with flyers and online. 1.5 weeks before the show there was still no response so again went back to club in person, yesterday. The script had flipped. Now Danny, the asinine gatekeeper, says hes not doing the show because advertisements and promotion went out before it was confirmed?? When asked why he didnt respond with this information in email, he says maybe I could have responded to you sooner and then goes on to say that since he didnt get his paycheck from his boss, that he wasnt going to respond to emails or confirm a show??? When it was requested to speak to the manager, he flat out said no, without any rationale but serious racial undertones. A few hundred dollars spent in advertising loss for no good reason and time wasted. Again, think twice before dealing with this place. Their practices are shaddy ~ Rebel Fyah
Discovered this venue during an amateur comedy night showing. The venue is 2 storey with an open stage and bar area on each floor.Good place and atmosphere for groups or solo. There is always live music or some performance going on depending on the night. Highly recommend if you are in the Inner Richmond area.
Had so much fun here. The DJs on the bottom floor were good, I just dont know why the top floor had a $15 cover (didnt go up) thats my only complaint.
I attended Monday night salsa - 7pm Beginner, 8:30pm Intermediate, and 9:30pm Open Dance. ($20 for all)There were about 30 people in the dancing area, which was just a tad too small so I definitely ran into people several times throughout the night.Beginner class is far too easy and repetitive for anyone who picks up on basic steps decently quickly. Instructors just go over 4 steps: basic, side, Cuban, and right turn. Most people could get those down in 5 minutes versus the 1.5 hours they allow for.Intermediate class was decently challenging, and we got a lot of time to practice before open dance. Format is guys stand in circle, and girls form smaller circle within guys circle. Instructors teach a few steps and then you practice with a partner. Guys rotate every few minutes so you get to dance with everyone in the room.Open dance was way more fun here than it was at the only other place Ive tried - Atmosphere (in North Beach). The crowd is much more diverse at Neck of the Woods, and the leads are WAY more experienced. I didnt realize until I came here that followers just need to know the basics - a good lead pretty much takes all the hard work out of it!So 4 stars for experienced, diverse crowd and decent intermediate class. If it werent so far from downtown I would come back every week.
Monday night salsa was advertised as $10 cover but when we got there they said $10 is the online price only and charged us $20 per person cover instead. This kind of pricing is shady if you ask me and off-putting to the idea of returning.Besides that the club is pretty nice and the crowd was good on Monday night.
Great venue. If you see an act you like coming here, do yourself a favor and come out. Super cozy, youll find yourself no more than 20 feet from the act.
Awesome bar with an excellent Open Mic Night on Wednesdays!Spacious by SF standards, and pretty decent drinks. Had a Long Island Iced Tea with Bombay Sapphire, it was smooth and did the trick. The featured act that night was amazing, the sound system blew my ears off, loved it.
It is a comedy club in a bar. Beers are $7 and other drinks are $14. There are 6 comedians. They perform about 15 mins each.
Wonderful venue. As a patron they have pretty good drink prices and theres great food all around for when the drunk munchies hit.As a performer the stages are great. The sound system is wonderful. There is a backlined bass amp for use. But the sound engineers sometimes are lacking in ability.
Awesome karaoke on Tuesday nights. No cover, great mics, huge screens, and you get to show off to your friends and whomever else is there. The few times that Ive gone, a larger crowd usually gathers closer to 11 or midnight, as the salsa class upstairs ends and the late night partiers roll in.
Was happy to find a party especially fresh off the vaccine…we bought tickets nice seating; the order your drink via the app thing not for me too extra and the promise of food and nothing? I got to go find some FOOD 🤦🏾found some Thai food up down the block…The bartender been off work for so long he should have been happy to serve us NOT! Drinks just okay I sure hope this isn’t San Francisco’s finest 😳 checking your party all the way from Jamaica, Minnesota, Florida and Ohio OH last but not least your DJ was cracking…#TravelingNurseCrew21 💋
Great Comedy, some better than others but like Ali wong says its okay to bomb. DJ was amazing for a 70s child like me. Im still getting used to QR ordering, but the staff said they like the ordering system.
This place has been around forever and often has great comedy shows. Drinks are solid, service is great, and the food is delicious. It’s also really close to the 38 for those of us coming from another neighborhood.
Very cool bar and music venue. Weve seen some great shows here. The place has a large upstairs space with a stage, dancing area and bar. They also have a smaller downstairs space with a bar and stage, as well as a few games. The Wednesday evening open mic is really cool too, a great place to meet friendly musicians.
Great venue for live music. Good selection of beers on tap. Even though they dont serve food, you can get something and bring it in to eat with the cocktail you ordered at the bar. Tuesdays is karaoke night with Wednesday being their Open Mic night. The Open Mic starts with a jam session where anyone can go up and play or sing or rap.Their upper music space is better than the bottom. The bar on the bottom is better than the one at the upper music venue. The upper venue has good places to sit and talk. My suggestion is to put a little more sofas along the walls between the bar and the stage. The drink specials like happy hour are standard. They have video games on the first level. I observed that they get unused. I suggest that they take them out and either extend the bar area or put lounge style seats there. It would help a lot and keep people there longer. The bathrooms could use some new fixtures. My only complaint is that there is no kitchen or food they serve. Maybe partnering with a local business or food truck might be worthwhile. If they have some food at their business, it would draw more people in and keep them in longer.
The place is a your typical nightclub, local band venue...but tonight was Crazy Funny Asians night. The crowd was around 30 to 40 people seated and QR food and beverage order setting. The food was litterally ran over from Koja across the street!!! The comedians were great and edgy, and I was somehow thrown into numerous jokes along with another couple. Definitely reccomend for a Sunday night chill and laugh session. The bar also makes GREAT dinks!!!
Drinks were weak. So bad. Went for a comedy show that ended up being 30 mins instead of an hour and a half then asked for tips after lol We ubered to the show from far and ended ubering back to a house party instead. Waste of time and money.
Love the Salsa classes, they are so much fun. The place could use a makeover. There is a dance floor upstairs and down stairs. There is also a bar upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs is salsa on Mondays. Sometimes they have live salsa which is nice. Monday classes start at 7 for beginners and 830 for intermediate dancers. The 930 open dance.
Went to go see Gates of Light for the first time and it was a great experience! They have plenty of entertainment from the tvs to the bar and games, and two (upstairs and downstairs) stages for live performances. And if you want to lounge they also have semi private seating upstairs. Very cool place, nice venue. Will definitely be back!
Went there for a comedy show and was NOT impressed. Stroy is a fine up and coming comedian but he needs to surround himself with a better crowd. He had four openers who were absolutely terrible and brought the overall vibe of the crowd down. I’m talking poorly rehearsed high school jokes. The service was very disorganized and it took 30 minutes to receive our drinks. The crowd at the back wouldn’t stop talking (they were all Stroy’s friends. I saw them hugging each other before the show) and thus made it difficult to listen to the comedians. Many people were disengaged and on their phones. Stroy seemed pretty upset about how the show was going so I presume they have had better days. Overall, there is much room for improvement.
First time patron for the BLACK LAUGHS MATTER show. Stayed for the 90s Throwback dance party. Good comedy, good drinks. Didnt know about the throwback party. I jumped around with the yunguns. Had a blast. Its official. I. Am. Old. Cant remember the DJs name, but he was 🔥 🔥.
Underrated club in Inner Richmond! No really- this place has some great songs, huge dance floor, and cheap drinks. See you on the dance floor!
I was there to see my friend MeanDave do his stand up act, so that was the highlight of the evening for me. The venue itself is pretty cool 2 bars one upstairs and another downstairs, both floors had stages with enough room for a band, poetry readings or Stand up comics.
Nice venue Locals help keep it real
Great intimate setting to listen to your fave artist or to listen to your soon-to-be fave artist! There are 2 floors so its a hike up if your artist is upstairs. It got annoying for me towards the end of the evening because I have a physical disability but i like to believe theres NO REST FOR THE WICKED! LOL! Check it out and let me know what you think.
Went for an open mic comedy venue. Lots of fun. Great atmosphere!
In a fun two level bar, there is a traditional bar downstairs and a great stage upstairs, this bar has a lot to offer in the Inner Richmond. I really liked the decor which was simple but they had a couch/sitting area behind a wall upstairs. It made for a great spot to sit and talk while a band was playing. There is a second bar upstairs so no need to grab a drink downstairs before you head to watch a show. My only complaint was that the night I went they only served Dos XX and Guinness for beer. I know that Dos XX was sponsoring the concert but that was a disappointment. Hope its not like that all the time.
Bar and event space with a long tradition. Good fresh drinks and the staff is very friendly. I love their stand up comedy nights, salsa evenings, RnB nights, pretty much everything thats going on.
Different day, different events. Every Friday Russian karaoke night . Tuesdays open mike and comedy. Good bar with another venue upstairs with different event. Cover ranges from free -20$ depending on event.
Fun simple venue for concerts. The sound was relatively good and the servers were friendly and helpful. The stage is mid-sized and there were tables and chairs around the outside when I attended, which was nice for taking a break throughout the show.
It is a nice place to start learning to dance. Even though it is over crowded and hard to move without someone stepping on your feet or punching you in the face.Mens room never has hand washing soup either.
Amazing venue both downstairs and upstairs. Amazing staff and great vibe as both a performer and a guest. My first time and Im confident I will come by again.
Used to be the Rockit Room and before that, the Last Day Saloon. Beautiful spot, lots of room upstairs. Could be a great venue, but lots of drunk Russian gangsters hang around outside smoking, especially on Karaoke nights.
Nice bar in Inner Richmond. Frequent host of standup comedy shows, in partnership with Hella Funny. Check out the Sunday night Crazy Funny Asians show (Jan-Apr 2019). Theres a range of seating options. Full bar, but no kitchen.
Saw a concert at neck of the woods (30 dollars) for one of my favorite reggae artists Cocoa Tea. Everything was going great until about 5 minutes before 2am they turn the lights up just as he was really starting to hit his groove and in the middle of one of his biggest songs. He is a legend and doesnt play many shows on the west coast and when he does he puts his heart and soul into it. Granted he went on a little late but instead of letting things wind down naturally after he finished the song they cut his sound in the middle and quickly hurried him off stage the minute it turned 2am. I found this not only to be extremely disrespectful to the performer but also to the crowd who payed good money to see the show. I left what was an otherwise a great night/concert with an extremely sour taste in my mouth. Upon exiting I saw Cocoa Tea outside and he said hed never been treated like this by a venue. A friend who met me there around 1 said they couldnt even tell a concert was taking place from the outside when they arrived so not sure if theyre worried about a noise complaint or breaking the law but I highly doubt any serious repercussions would have happened if they let him finish his song and end at 2:05. Dont see myself ever returning to this place after this experience...
Comedians were funny, but the people that work at the venue must really not care about them at all. We went for a show and it was hard to hear at times since the staff was laughing, joking and carrying on as though there wasn’t a performance people were paying for about 2 feet away. Frankly, I thought that was really rude and disrespectful for the acts. If I was the comedy show host, I’d look to find a new venue.
Went for an old school 90s night and had to constantly remind the DJ to play 90s music. It was frustrating and we would have left, but we had ordered bottles so we stayed and drank them. By the end we were drunk enough to not care anymore.
This place is so awesome. Open Mic on Wednesday is the best . So fun and so good for music. Gerard rocks!! Stand up guy!!!
The only reason they get a five star review is because of the comedy show they had. The service was great as well. But the actual show was the best thing about it. Service on drinks was fast and friendly.
Ive had the pleasure of many types of events at Neck of the Woods from live music to salda dancing. The service is always great and every time I visit, I dance away with great memories. Halloween is really fun here!
It was my first time there, and it was a great experience. The bartenders were friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing with a great DJ on stage!
. very cool venue. upstairs is very spacious. $9.01 for a draft beer was kinda a weird price lol but cool.
Lively venue with a looot of space and the events there are decent. Don’t have too high of expectations for the comedy shows because they’re probably still trying out new material but still such a good time.
We went to 90s night a few days ago and it was so much fun! Drinks were good and everyone was having fun while respecting ppls space. Definitely coming back!
Salsa classes every Monday night are a highlight of this place. Beginner classes are at 7:30 and intermediate at 8:30, with an open dance party from 9:30 into the wee hours of the morning. Drop in classes are $20 or so, with month long passes available for about $40.
We went to a comedy show here. It was advertised as an outdoor show but everything was indoors when we got there. The drinks were just fine with limited options.
Fun atmosphere. Great staff.
Great cozy venue for live music! Also a spacious bar downstairs that you can hang out at without necessarily going to the live music show upstairs. Friendly staff and patrons .
Cool 2-story venue. Management sometimes oversell tix and it can get too crowded to enjoy (lines to get a drink, restrooms, no room to dance, etc). Security at the door tends to be rude
Such a cool neighborhood bar. Very chill. Make sure you attend one of those Sunday stand up comedy! Great way to spend Sunday night .
Monday nights for salsa fun. Just come ready to dance or be entertained by dancers. Many great dancers in house from all over. Enjoy
The best kind of venue. Intimate with high quality sound production
Super nice venue, near GG park. Weirdly, the floor has always been sticky when Ive been there. The immersive sound system makes up for it though. :)
Flew from Seattle for a show. The sound was terrible. Left monitor kept going in and out. Good food around the place.
This is one treasure you need to make. Dont miss out on this place! The bartenders are the best!
Fantastic Place for Open Mic Comedy and Karaoke on Tuesdays! The staff is amazing. I always have a good time!
Small cosy place. I went there for my friends open mic event, the crowd was very encouraging and supporting of the performance. Good place for amateurs to get some stage time.
The salsa classes are extremely beginner friendly. However, I do wish they offered hand sanitiser and the choreography to be updated a bit.
Beginner class said it was free, we still paid 10$ pp. They said it would take half na hour, after 15 minutes the teacher left. I mean we learned fast and the basic steps are easy, so for that its fine. People themself were gentle.
Best live music in the Richmond. Could use more seating though so arrive early if you dont want to stand all night.
Good place to catch open mic 🎤 and some regular comedy showcases, great staff
Good spot for Salsa dancing in San Franciaco on Monday nights. The floor needs work and some of the carpeting specially by the bar replaced.
Beer and music Preview of heaven?
I went there to see the stand up show of a Venezuelan guy, Led Varela, and I had a lot of fun. The staff was nice, their bar was good but the place looks a bit run down.
Over crowded. The bar was quick service which was good (sorry for the low score, not bars fault) cool spot but if youre trying more intimate...Oakland is where its at
Great neighborhood spot! They have live music and reasonably priced drinks. Highly recommended!
Impressive lineup of comedians! What a great way to spend a Sunday evening. Good drinks too. Check It out!
Ive been here three times to watch the Popstar Booty Camp perform and I always enjoy it. Decent selection of beer.
Saturday Crazy Asian comedy at 7PM. Really funny and creative. Highly recommend.
An intimate and classic bar setting to listen to live music and see live comedy. Nothing real special but great for seeing local and lesser known talent.
Bartender was rude and rolled his eyes at my order and said absolutely nothing to me
They occasionally have Open Mic Nights on weekday evenings which is a great way to check out local bands and artists!
Great show venue and bar. Ive only been there for the salsa social dance Monday nights
Great comedy show! Everyone was super friendly and not to mention the fast service. Perfect date night.
Um...ancient hiatory:i wuz told this used 2b robin williams, the comedian from Marin countys hangout after he graduated from NYCZ Julliard Schools division of acting. Glad he was my favorite comedian, and the tunnel is named after this generous man that with Whoopi Goldberg, started fun in Golden Gate Park, like a fundraising awareness for joy, during the early sad AIDS unknown medication 1988? days?...Anyway, kewl some ol timer could educate rita!!!
My first time there. I really!, really! enjoyed myself. Music and atmosphere were perfect. Ill be back for sure!!!
Friendly staff, bit expensive and small but the bands I saw there were great fun.
They didn’t have cups for water. They expect you to buy a water bottle.
Nice venue. I enjoyed the music and the place looks very nice. I would definitely come back again for a concert
Great venue, awesome security, awesome bar staff, great atmosphere, just dont acted entitled, respect the staff and yall have great time.
Its a nice little divey bar with a daily event is what looks like. Love the vibe and always has a nice event to go spend time at
Great bar. Good choice of music before open mic night (alt/pop punk/post hardcore)
Hella small and ended up leaving a concert early because the sound was terrible.
Great place for a comedy show. Really enjoyed it. Very attentive service as well. Good job!
Great cover bands. Usually has a cover charge particularly when bands are playing. Good selection of beer.
Booze is overpriced. But its a good venue.
A nice little hole in the wall bar. Bartender was friendly. went for a comedy show. half were funny other half were practicing
Great place! Especially it is fun when Russian karaoke takes place! Very good bar to visit!
Great bar! Dark, good demographic, karaoke, stuff cheap drinks. Fun!
Nice cozy bar/club. Went for a comedy show & had an awesome time!
Nice place, I like it. Not too crowded
Good venue. Went to Russian karaoke on Saturday night. Bar is not bad.
Fun bar with live music acts. Drinks are a little pricey for the size in my opinion.
Sunday nights (Hella Funny) is a great time, and no cover, letting you tip the comics.
Had a blast listening to a band upstairs. When the first one finished I didnt care for the second band so we went downstairs and the band there rocked.
Wonderful venue. great atmosphere, decent parking, and a killer open mic scene.
I love this place. Different events, reasonably priced drinks, nice crowd
Nice and small place the only bad thing is no parking lot
Good place to hangout in the city for after hours. Friday night is Russian Karaoke time
Came for an outdoor show towards the end of the pandemic. Great drinks, friendly people, good times.
Great show, Thrive and Sol Horizon killed it! Good drinks and service!
Small venue. Limited seating if on lower level. Could use more help as service is slow and self service.
I go for Salsa lessons on Monday. Nice group of people. Fun classes.
Great place to hear live, local bands. They also have Pac Man video game machines
Good place to practice your salsa steps and not worry if you are a novice 😜 * MONDAY *
It was the best Russian party in San Francisco! I had very good time!!! Thanks for everything!!!
Dope Spot on Sat nights for 90s music
Great drinks, great venue, phenomenal staff, excellent comics.
Cool place to listen to some music. Also great place for comedy show.
Great Salsa nights on Monday for social dancing and a lesson before hand.
Great dive bar to do Russian karaoke on a Saturday night.
So weird to call yourself a music venue when you seem to not care about music 🤷
Only thing is they need more of a air conditioning system, it was so hot! Everything else was great
Awesome atmosphere. Laid back and comfortable. Super friendly staff :)
Small but cozy. With lots of games and entertainment plus a good bar.
Great spot. Good and safe neighborhood
Pride Comedy was ok. Nice Lil spot.
Perfect for people who dont like big crowds and not have to get all dressed up. Lol
Nice venue . good setting. crowded and noisy open mic tho
Went to frankly the most horrifyingly awful terrible comedy show here - wouldn’t wish that upon anyone
Cozy little bar, never seen a show here, but I imagine its a good spot for something small.
Parking is bad but the venue is small and you can see the artist well
New Years Eve great show. Stayed until closing
This is probably my most frequented place in SF. Absolutely love this place
Big dance floor. Was nearly full, was hot, was fun!
Dj.Shant is absolutely amazing. Drinks can be better:(
I need to go back when they have a decent band playing upstairs.
Excellent place for the Metal concerts
Run for the New Years Eve comedy show here too crowded could not accommodate the ticket sales not very pleasant
Nice music venue, free street parking after hours
Very nice place and the environment was very lively.
Comedy and other awesome live events weekly
Fun, free games, great music, and fair prices in a nice setting
Its full service here with a coat check and food.
Dirty place and horrible customer service. The guy at the entrance is very rude. I will never go nack to this place.
Great energy and nice staff.
Great ambience, solid sound from live band performances!
Excellent open mic on Wednesday evenings.
Best sound in town! Love this venue!
Make sure you locate the emergency exits before you start drinking. You never know.
The acoustics are good enough for me to appreciate the music.
Great bar tender and karaoke dj
Great venue with great curation.
Good live music and great staff
Venue is clean and has a neat vibe. Staff are friendly.
Fun beginner salsa class on Monday evening
Great place, employees seemed to be enjoying themselves, will be back.
Awesome Karaoke Night on Tuesday’s!
Casual. Easy. The food is great. Thanks team Eat415
One of my favorite music venues in the city
Why did I pay $20 for a double well vodka
Great local bar with live music
