Have a karaoke on 2nd floor! ♡ my review is 4 ☆ because the drinks are a little bit expensive. The karaoke doesnt have to pay to use it, but is good give some tips for the DJ (very kind btw). So many options for sing. Only one Brazilian song : ai se eu te pego - Michel Teló.

1st, did not honor tickets reserved in advance. After waiting 1 1/2 hours in line they charged us $60 per person because vip tables had priority entrance but they held people outside on purpose. Terrible business practice. And, the place is really small inside including upstairs. Not worth your time or money. Avoid!!

I loved this place! People are really friendly. The drinks are perfect! You have to go! And it’s a good place to watch games!

I went to Providence for my Birthday, and the entire staff (from the moment we got there) made my special day so welcoming and great! Everyone was so kind. From the moment we got there, they were really accommodating and flexible, and made sure that my guests and I had a great night. The vibe and music within the club was a good time as well - I will definitely be going back with my friends! Thank yall again so much!!!

I visited with my friends from the U.K. We were really looking forward to a night out in SF. Sadly it was diabolical. VIP takes up 75% of the club. We went for a day party, and it happened to be here; a glorified loft on the corner of a street with no outdoor space. If you’re new to SF and looking for a fun night out, go elsewhere please. It’s not worth it.

Me and my homegirls got a table and bottle service and the experience was great! The bottle girls were super sweet and made sure we were comfortable. The whole process was super smooth because they made sure we knew who to talk to/follow to get to where we needed to go. The djs played all the slaps and had the club jumping on a friday night. 10/10 would recommend and do again!

My partner was carrying water from another bar on the sidewalk walking past the club on the way home and was told by this bouncer that he couldn’t have open containers there. She tried to take away the water cups and choked him when he didn’t comply, to the point where he bled. Have never been to this club and will never go. We walk on the other side of the street every time we walk past this place to avoid their aggressive security.

Very poor service if u enter club u cannot enter again and they say itsopen at 8 but if u pay at 8 you have to wait till 11 pm to enter u have to stand at bar that’s ridiculous u can only go out for smoke But for any other reason u have to pay again 25

I did not go here. Was walking by this place late Friday night with friends carrying two cups of water from another bar. The club was just getting out and security was on the sidewalk trying to move people along…I said “pardon me” as walking by a security lady. She saw my cups and I guess thought I came out of there, so she tried to snatch them from me without listening to me. I could not believe what was happening and she angrily grabbed at my neck for resisting and getting water on her. I have never experienced such awful security. I’m still shocked that she tried to choke me.

Came here for a pre-dinner drink (or three) with a girlfriend on a Tuesday night and had a really nice time.The Womens World Cup was on, yet the place wasnt packed at all! What a pleasant surprise. The bartender was fabulous, making drink recommendations as well as custom drinks for us. She recommended the strawberry basil martini, which was nowhere as sweet as I expected (thank goodness) and quite enjoyable. After that, I asked for something with basil and lavender and she made me an awesome drink with fresh blackberries, lavender bitters, and lemon. The drink was perfectly refreshing and light on a warm evening and I enjoyed it so much I ordered another!The bartender was friendly as were the other patrons. While Ive walked by a million times, I was glad I finally stopped to go in this time! My only complaint is the price... Its not necessarily more expensive than anywhere else in the neighborhood, but at $12/cocktail, the price starts to add up when you have more than one. They did seem to have a good beer happy hour, though, so perhaps Ill take that path next time.

Waited for an Uber on the block of this bar with my friends. On of them was drinking a can of Guayaki Yerba Mate Tea. The bouncer told us that we couldn’t drink alcohol in line for his bar. We told him we weren’t in line, and it was tea. He told us that it didn’t matter, we weren’t allowed to drink any beverages on a sidewalk near the bar and tried to get us to leave. It was very strange and uncomfortable. I’d never heard of this place before and I didn’t want to go there.

The bartender guy on the Second Floor is the most racist bartender that I have ever faced in the City last Saturday night . He didn’t pay attention if I wanted to order a drink. He was not even busy and didn’t wanted to look at me even though I was rasing my hand. At the time he took my order he told the security guy to kick me out of the club for no reason. I will never be back here again. I loved the music, but that kind of service it’s horrible. I’m glad I found another bar down the street where people are nice and no jerks like him.

The club is just catered to people who want to buy tables and bottles. Its not an actual club and dancefloor is none existent. Do not go here if you want a proper clubbing experience that doesnt just cater to people spending $350+ on a table

I came here for my 21st birthday and was treated very well. All the bouncers, bartenders, and hosts made sure that my party and I were well taken care of.There isnt a whole lot of space, so the table we had was really more like a booth. Most people couldnt tell it was reserved, so we had a lot of trouble holding on to the booth as a private party. But thats a given, since the bar is fairly small.I still really enjoyed the music, and the crowd is pretty mixed. This is a fun place to go to and will definitely go again!

Took my executive team from Los Angeles so we all could let our hair down for an evening. We spent $500 on an entry fee in total even though we had free before 10 tickets. The women in charge was extremely rude as if she didn’t care we’d all been tricked. Never made it up to the actual event for 2 hours due to capacity issues yet they continued to let more and more people in. Imagine being packed in a room like sardines? It wasn’t enjoyable. I realized this was a horrible decision and left. Contacting management the only response is well you should have purchased vip. I have no intentions on patronizing this establishment and I feel pitty for those who continue to go there. They don’t care about their customers AT ALL.

The owner/general manager of this bar should learn how to be polite while talking to customers and asking them something. I was at the door about to call some friends to go inside with a beverage in my hand and he grabbed my arm and was ABSOLUTELY rude about this. Although this is a very serious situation in the US, he should remember that there is a lot of people that are not from US and are not aware of the rules. In my country it’s ok, so for a split of a second I really just forgot. Even my friends and another customer that I didn’t know tried to talk to him asking for an apology but he didn’t care or even looked at me.I think there are nice ways of calling the attention. I would apologize and simply go back inside. No problems at all. But the way he treat me, like if I was anybody made me feel very upset. Mainly because I used to go there with several people to this place weekly in a pub crawl and talk good about the bar, but not anymore unfortunately.

Will let all the women in your party in first for free, and then charge guys for cover (this is illegal in the state of CA). Consistently served with Liquor License Violations. Small/Packed dance floor, makes it difficult to move around the place. Drinks are good and priced well though. Come early and then hop elsewhere.

The bouncers my wife’s pepper spray at the door. They took her ability to defend herself away. They said they’d give it back, but threw it away, and we’re extremely disrespectful and condescending. I would NEVER give this company my business, as they disregard the safety of women. Disgusting experience. Very disappointed to see actions like this in 2022.

This spot is way overhyped. Girls always get in for free, guys always have to pay some kind of exorbitant cover ($10-$20), and the staff is generally pretty rude. Its packed to the gills on Friday and Saturday, so the bathroom line is always crazy long, even for the guys, and theres a line to get up stairs. Its always really crowded upstairs, and theres not really room to even move around. Beware using your credit card too, cause theyll trick you by serving you your drink before they tell you theres a $20 minimum on using your credit card.

Bouncers are super rude. Bartended are horrible and do not know how to pour a drink or even give u service. This place needs to do better and hire better staff

There is a minimum required to pay by credit card, so they ask me to let my card at the bar. I took 3 beers for a total price of 23.25 dollars. They did not give me any bill at the end, and now, they debited me 35 dollars. So they are thieves, dont trust them and always ask for a bill at the end.

I had been once before and it was fine. This time we asked for a refund on cover before we even had drinks. 7 of us left because bouncer’s attitude was disgusting and the GM wasn’t any better. Worst customer service I have ever seen at any establishment. Continue feeding your ego in your gross dive.... we won’t be back.

So my friends and I Spent A Little over 1,000$ Is It Just Me or the security girl and guys just trying to intentionally physically fight everyone? They took our money tried to bully me they will harass you and basically kick you out there not welcoming at all if any of the ownership sees this I am a business owner i highly recommend to rearrange the security and staff it’s a truly sad establishment

Went this Thursday with a girlfriend, they had an amazing bartender who was very sweet and attentive. The drinks were good, its a little small so its hard to get a seat for the hh. Fun place in a good neighborhood! Recommend checking it out!!

Great place to hang out if you are in the city. The cover charge is fairly price and drinks are not too bad aswell. The music is great and the guy to girl ration is good aswell. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good bar/dancing club in the city

This place is really small and drinks wasn’t even all that good for as much as they charged. As a beautiful dark skin black woman I see it’s not the place to be.

Decent place to get a drink and has dancing and club atmosphere on the 2nd floor. That space is tight with bottle service in the back but big windows give you a view of the San Francisco streets below. Ask the Bar Manager for a shot of his Banana infused Jameson if you want to try something different.

Fun bar to hit up on Polk St, very trendy and popular these days. The downstairs is small and they dont open up the upstairs till 9 or 10 so get there early, prepare to be cramped and wait for the rush upstairs. Drinks are overpriced but tasty and they have a decent beer selection. They used to have DJs downstairs during happy hour which really improved the vibe, dont know what happened to that. I dig it but its a tad overrated, typical for Polk St.

The staff in this place is horrible, came in this afternoon with three friends having a good time, first stop after lunch at Swan oyster bar. Mr Dick Head bartender made judgement of my friends enthusiasm as intoxication and asked her to leave we left, , thankfully the wonder staff at Zombie Village were awesome. If you’re in the neighborhood bypass The playground lounge and head to Zombie..

DO NOT COME HERE! LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS! IF I COULD GIVE LESS, I WOULD.Our group wasnt there for 5 mins before someones phone was stolen. They knew what they were doing, right after it was stolen it was deactivate .They let way too many people in that you cant move upstair . Super fire hazard.Management did nothing to help, they didnt look at security cameras and wouldnt reimburse us our cover because their policy is no refunds if you were there longer than 30 mins. We got there at 1137 and left by 1200. But brought it to their attention before then. When we proved it to them all of a sudden it doesnt matter.

Whether you want to relax and have a drink with friends, or listen to music and dance, this place is a good spot. There is a cover for men though, so make sure you have cash in your pocket. Also, this place gets packed on weekends and the line to get in outside gets long so dont get here late.

This is a pitiful excuse for a bar. While I was there, 7 people’s phones were stolen in the span of an hour. Perpetrators were clearly around us trying to steal more phones in an unbelievably obvious way and the bar did nothing to stop them or search them on the way out. I’d avoid this place at any cost, it’s not worth your time, money, and definitely not your phone.

Less than 5 mins upstairs and a phone gets stolen. Security didnt try to do anything, we asked for refund and they refused. They tried telling us that we were there for more than 30 mins and when we showed proof of being there for less than 15 mins he said that didnt matter. Dont go there unless you want your property stolen.

They had fresh grapefruit juice for beverages, yay. Clean non-gender bathrooms, yay. Bartenders, bouncers, and the crowd were all nice & friendly. But this isnt my usual scene, music was a little rough. Polk st is a little rough...

Ventilation sucks, tried to go out to take a fresh air, the bouncer said if you leave you have to pay again... dude I already paid 20$ like 30 min ago... the business is money hungry... first & last time there.

This place was busy so we paid the $5 cover. After ordering expensive drinks, last call was announced and a short blonde guy who works at this bar named Jonathan grabbed a beer as my friend was drinking it and pulled it from his mouth - pouring the full beer down his chest to tell us to Get out. We werent doing anything but standing by a table and this happened... not going back.

We had fun at this bar. However, the drinks were really weak. The music alternated from top 40s to some Spanish songs, which kinda throws off throws off the vibe.

ALWAYS a good time. DJ chiknscratch is on point upstairs, and bartenders are fast and attentive. Obviously gets crowded on weekends and guys end up having to pay $10 cover, but for dancing in polk gulch, theres nowhere else youd rather go.

Came on a Friday night and it was wayy crowded. Due to the small dance floor, people are always pushing and moving around you which gets really irritating. Drinks were meh. $10 cover for guys.

Really fun bar with a dance area upstairs. We never want to go up there but always end up up there anways. Everything is great except for the layout as there is only 2 private bathrooms for the whole place.

Always packed and lines are out the door to the small cramp bar space. Not much of a dance floor but people keep coming back. Music is blasting and people always have a good time.

Around 11 tonight the female bartender on second floor went off on me accusing me of throwing a napkin into the lime container front of everyone. I was just standing near by and still had my napkin under my glass. If I had done that I would have apologized. Before you go accusing someone and get pissed just be certain you accuse the right person. Just go look at the security camera.

Griffin has some killer drinks.The bar is a great place to just chill out. Ive gone for Salsa night, Karaoke, and late night on weekends. Always a good time.

Spent a total of $28.00 on 5 beers and had a great time the bartenders are excellent and the age of clients ranges from 21 to 50. The atmosphere is polite and socially upbeat!!

Fun time in the bar. But they do not take care of their customers at the end. They refused to serve me water and I was then told to not wait outside for my Lyft home.

Security there sucks!!!!!i call for help because a mexican was drunk and was pushing me..but the latino dj was his friend and let him in and they kicked me out for no reason....this dj or the one who just to be needs to be fired or they gonna be sue sooner or later...management needs to know what kind of people hi has as employees....

Loud and they give you drinks in plastic cups and tell you to move seats when they rearrange tables. But also I’m old and boring so if you like loud bars you might like this place.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I cant even imagine of amount of iphones stolen there. Just read reviews on yelp first. Be aware that if you will go there you will for sure have your iphone stolen.

I forgot my card on this place and the blond woman bar attendant was horrible. I came back the next day for the card and she pretend wasn’t seeing me for several minutes. I do not recommend this place.

Place was packed, no ac on a hot day ( evidently thats typical in San Fran) but the drinks were poured heavy, and we left happy.

Charges men $10 - $20 and allow woman to enter for free, which is illegal according to the Unruh Civil Rights act in California. Club is generally packed full of people, to the point where you cannot dance or move around in the second floor.

I have had two iphones stolen here....They play good music, I like this place for dancing.It gets really crowded on the weekends and the bouncers can be douches.

Great place but probably the only bar Ive been in in San Francisco that doesnt offer its WiFi to guests. As someone who is travelling I rely on WiFi to get around.

This bar has a cool, small atmosphere with plenty of natural light for those looking for a place to drink. I was looking for a place to drink beer and eat something and this place pleased me, even without offering any food, just drinks. The attendant is friendly and the drinks are made with local ingredients, as well as six taps with different beers.

When it fills up you have to wait to access the venue, and a second time, to access the upper floor which is where the party is. The bathrooms are downstairs, so you will have to wait again if you go down to use them. Not all bars accept credit cards. Great party.

The waiters are friendly and helpful, but the waiting line is incredibly poorly organized and takes a long time to move! Drinks are a little expensive, but its worth going to the dance floor above the bar. As it combines two different types of environments, it is worth the visit!

Small commercial music venue. The drinks are not expensive. It gets a little hot. A friend was robbed inside the store and security did nothing even though we identified the thief, he had her wallet and cell phone. We recover the wallet.

Heres all the hype.. Im impressed! The bar has 2 floors, with a dance floor on the second floor! The Dj is beautiful with all the best new mixes!
