Good for salsa and bachata dancing on Fridays, but whats up with not letting people bring in their water bottles?.. That is not cool at all, they should be done with that practice. Its not like they have a drinking fountain (and they should have that).
I was totally impressed by this place. I came from out of town and I truly felt the DJs and the instructor went out of their way to make me and my friends feel welcomed. That alone made this trip and venue the best weve been to in a long time. The DJ was absolutely fantastic. The whole salsa / bachata experience for me and my friend as well was absolutely on point. We just about danced every song. Great instructor also. Its so refreshing to be around new people a new venue and treated with respect and kindness. The added bonus was the dance floors were very spacious. I love this place Ill be back again. GreATE music.Thank you Thien and Jhonaton!!!!!!
I went there on a Saturday night , hoping to see all this different dancing floors but only the main one was open , no lessons, no ladies and expensive cover it was a big deception the only good thing was the live band , they should do marketing to get more even female to male ratio. Long story short after waiting to about 11:30 pm hoping things will be better I just walk out and went to a bar in SF where I had way more fun.
I went on Saturday, wasnt full for this we could dance and enjoy live music. Next time I want to go on Friday, people said me is better. Saturday there are many older people, if you are looking to meet young people this is not the place. This place is good to dance, who is learning salsa I encourage to go, the older men are friendly and good dancers.
Their drink prices are exorbitant and a complete rip-off. Avoid the bar at all costs.
The staff (specially one guy) is rude beyond tolerance. Not sure what life issues he is going through but he likes to go on power trips. What other reviews say about how this places nickel and dime you ($4 for coat check and $6 for bag check and $$ for water and $$$$ for watered down drinks) are absolutely true. The floors are not great either, can be a deadly blend of slippery and sticky (I did not think that was possible but I was proven wrong). The effect is you’d go sliding and then trip over your feet. If you are there for salsa or any other dance, I’d recommend going to another place.
OK for dancing. But way overpriced. Nickle and dime for everything. Hot and sweaty and dehidrated and thirsty from dancing? Water is 1-2$ for 8-10oz. No drinking fountain. I can go stick my face in the sink, but I cant get a tiny cup full at the bar. How is this not illegal? And cheapest girly sugar drink is $7. Most are $9+ and are poured terribly. Hate to give auch a bad review as the other patrons and dance instructors are nice. But I will never go here again.
Dance Fridays Salsa/Bacchata nights are awesome! As someone who identifies as a femme and someone who has a bit of foundation in ballroom dancing, instruction is decent for beginners and experienced dance partners who lead well made my experience on the dance floor post-lesson amazing!
Great dance floor! Best day to dance salsa is Friday. Friendly crowd, all levels of dancers, live band, buying tix online is better than at the door. They have 3 rooms for dancing: main (large) floor -salsa, side room- bachata, top room- kizomba.
The dance lessons here were great. However, it was so cold in all the rooms that everyone kept their jackets on or froze (unless you were constantly dancing). The drinks were also really expensive and nothing great.
Bachata in the big room is one of my favorite nights of the month. Always enough space and some great dancers. I should probably note I go there for the dancing not the drinks which I here arent great.
Great for dancing, which they exploit. They know salsa and Bachata is going to dehydrate so they charge 3$ for a bottle. Wont let you bring your own either. Smh
Aka Dance Fridays.Live music, three dance floors,Salsa dance lessons start 8pm.Cover $20 at door.It was fun night, good for beginners :)
I like dancing here, but the bar sucks. There was no cranberry juice in my Cosmo. I think it was Kool-aid or something like that. Meh
The band was great, good vibe, lots of good salsa dancers... drinks are weak, in tiny plastic cups, and way overpriced.
Its a nice place to dance salsa but its a bit expensive. Also youll have to pay for water!
I when with 2 friends to learn how to dance, the class was fine, but it’s kind of boring place and $20 it’s way to expensive.
Nice club with enough dance space, but out of the way of the city in odd area. Also was a little pricey.
If you want to start on a salsa class and dance all night on live bands, this place is for you
Its a bad place because they treat Latino people very badly and the American people do not get so complicated to enter. Im not going back there.
Excellent music, love the atmosphere and prices reasonable for San Francisco!!
Salsa Bachata night on Friday is great!
Awesome placed to salsa dance on Fridays
Great music and atmosphere!
Best place to dance
Overrated
Honestly it was not what I expected, the entrance cost $20, the beers were hot and worth $8. It is located in a very remote and desolate area. The bathrooms were super dirty. (overpriced entrance and drinks, dirty restrooms and is located in stranded area.
This is the worst person who works in this place always trying to attack the customer and tonight he tried to charge my card and since the system did not leave him with his frustration he asked me for another card and I told him I didnt have it and he told me I will call the police... The police are going to come up with a dispute for $15.00 Hahahahahahaha this person is a disgrace to this establishment.
Alright
If you want to have fun you have to come
An excellent place and good music
