Sharon was easy to talk to while getting my first facial. I felt relaxed and definitely accommodated for since I’m 6 months pregnant. She was able to suggest a few products and shared what I should implement in my daily routine. I highly recommend her.

I recently had my first facial, a customized treatment, and it was an incredible experience! Just turning 30, I was eager to get a baseline for my skin and learn how to maintain its health. Sharon is extremely knowledgeable and intentional in her approach. I truly appreciated how she tailored the facial to meet my specific skin needs. My husband and I had a couples massage on Monday 7/1/2024 - we had a wonderful experience! My massage therapist Bee Wessarokjit Bee was excellent!! Violet the receptionist was warm and attentive. My husbands massage therapist was also excellent from what I heard (he left his own positive review). We highly recommend Serenity Wellness Spa. We already plan on gifting our daughters some massage sessions!! Thank you Bee and we hope to return soon!

Mark was beyond amazing. He asked such good questions and catered my session to me. His lymphatic drainage was the best ive ever had. He has 20+ years training and so many certifications. Im convinced he could help anyones body. The best massage therapist in San Francisco.

I had a facial with Ynes and it was amazing! Very luxurious and I felt super pampered- which is what I was looking for. She listened to all of my concerns and made sure I was comfortable.I dropped one star because of my experience with the receptionist, Violet, upon checking out. I had already tapped my card twice and the second time got a notification from my bank that it had went through. She insisted it hadn’t gone through even after I showed her the transaction on my phone. I was tentative to tap my card again as I’ve gotten charged twice by other merchants in the past and it can be a headache to get the charge removed.I reluctantly tapped again and she confirmed it went through. This was all fine, but when I asked her to make a note on file to double check it wasn’t charged twice and asked for her name she rolled her eyes at me while giving an attitude. This is not what I expected from a spa of this caliber. Left a bad last impression to an otherwise wonderful service.

Pattra was professional, kind and had great technique. I like my massages a bit deeper so will probably go deep tissues next time (I did Moroccan) but she did increase pressure on request and focused on my stated problem areas. Two thumbs up.

Pattra it was a 10/10 massage, you were very intuitive with your hands and the pressure was just right. I only wish it had been longer- next time Ill book a 75 or 90 minute!

I saw Ynes for a facial last week and have to say it was one of the most hydrating facials Ive ever had! Ynes was also beyond sweet and I really enjoyed chatting with her at the start of the facial. She took her time and explained the products she was using quite thoroughly and made some helpful recommendations that Ill use in my skin care routine. My skin was absolutely glowing for hours afterwards and the next day, the surface of my skin was so much smoother than before my treatment. As someone who’s had many different experiences with facials and massages, my experience at Serenity Wellness Spa was a wonderful experience with both the massage and facial. Great techniques, knowledgeable, soothing, relaxing, clean and exceptional customer service with everyone I interacted with (Kim, Pattra and Sharon). They were super accommodating and worked hard to fit my husband and me in on the same day. I’d come here regularly if I were closer and will definitely make visits here when I’m the area.

Really enjoyable overall. it was my first time getting a facial and she was really patient with me and took the time to walk me through my concerns and make sure i was ok throughout the session. She also helped me find some skin care products that would work best for MY skin. Will definitely go back once i come home from travels.

Just had 70 minute sports massage with Mark and I wish I hadn’t waited as long as I did. He was terrific! My neck and shoulders were on the brink of spasms and he carefully worked through all of the aches and pains. I feel SO much better! I wouldn’t hesitate going to him again!

I have been to this spa before. I have gotten one of the best massages as well as an excellent body treatment. Then COVID happened and I fell of the wagon with this one. It is 2023 and Wow!! I have been looking for a place in the city where I can get a good facial. Yes I have settled and been like this is decent enough without seeing results. Because I am stupid and thought all places were equal and they are not. I got introduced to Epionces through a trusted skincare friend who I value her opinion. I went on the website and found that Serenity Wellness Spa was one of their distributors. I scheduled an appointment as I have been here before and I am telling you, you want to book an appointment here. Nanthida is the real thing. She is a diploma esthetician. I am not sure what that means but I asked. The initials are CIDESCO. It is the like getting a higher education in skincare. Lets just say from the get go I knew this was going to be a good facial. The products Serenity Wellness Spa sells and promotes are top of their class. The ambiance is calming. The location is clean, welcoming, and the place where I want to get all of my wellness and self care done at. This location also has an ND . That is a Naturopathic Medicine doctor. I have met her before at a different location she is worth looking into. If you are in town and skincare is your thing, this is the place to stop at.

Small place but very conveniently located steps from Equinox. Made a last minute appointment to help relieve built-up tension from stress in my upper shoulders and neck. Joana was super attentive, noticed right away my problem area, and took great care, even increasing pressure where needed. Squeaky table, but i will definitely be going back. Thank you!!

I found Serenity Spa through outstanding Yelp reviews while visiting San Fran and I can emphatically say that I was thrilled with my experience from start to finish! Machie has incredible skill and used the perfect pressure, regularly checking in with me. The staff who greeted me before and after my session genuinely made me feel like family even though it was my first time there and Im a visitor in the area. I only wish I could keep coming back. I cant recommend highly enough!

I highly recommend Kim for facials! I have dry acne prone skin, and she really took her time to nurse my skin back to good health. She also explained to me what products I should be using and why. The pumpkin enzyme she used on my face smelled amazing! The room was very clean and the bed was temperature controlled, providing great comfort. I cant wait to go back!

Serenity Wellness Spa is one of the best spas in SF we frequently visit. We have tried almost all of the therapists for massage and facial, but our favorite is Sharon. She is the owner of the Spa who also created a lovely CBD line that helps so many customers with chronic pain. They carry a variety of products, but Alana botanics has been our favorite. The place is usually pretty booked, so make sure to plan ahead, especially for long weekends.

Pattra was amazing. I asked for firm, and she really went for it, which was great. I find a lot of massage therapists dont go hard enough in a deep tissue, but Pattra found the knots and worked them out. Such a great massage!

Been going to Thida for facials for over a year and couldn’t be happier. Thida has always gone above and beyond customising facials for the ever changing state of my problematic sensitive and acneic skin. I’ve done everything with her from chemical peels and microdermabrasions to blue light therapy. I’ve never had someone do extractions more meticulously! She introduced me to many wonderful skin care products and gave me fantastic advice on supplements and routines for my skin. I’m saddened to no longer be able to go to her as I’ve left the city but I recommend everyone in SF to book with her. You’ll thank me!

The first time Sharon did my brows, I barely noticed she was so deft and delicate. Perfection. My facials always leave me relaxed and refreshed and my skin in much much younger condition. When I do a detox program with her, I never eat so much or so well!Each time at the spa is a delight; each time is an education; each time is a step up in my self-awareness and intentional wellness. I recently visited Serenity for a detox body wrap and massage. It was an amazing experience. Sharon was very sensitive to my needs and it was clear she really knew her stuff. While I was waiting for my appointment in the lobby, another client who had been doing detox body wraps to lose weight came in and was talking about how she had dropped 20 pounds just through that process and eating generally healthfully in between. Wow. That wasnt my motivation for doing it at all, I just cared about the detox part myself, but it was still great to hear her experience. After my appointment I walked out feeling all relaxed and cared for and felt really great even a few days afterwards. Would definitely do it again as part of my regular cleansing program.

Serenity Day Spa use to be known as Spa Belle Vie and many of the staff still work here. I have had massages and facials with Sharon and Ashley and they are both wonderful. The spa has a wide selection of services and a special program where if you get a massage, facial or I believe body wrap every 4 to 8 weeks they offer you a discounted price. Definitely a good deal. Further, they make a real effort to squeeze you in and the spa is calm and relaxing and not overly pretentious as some in the area can be.

I had a wonderful facial with Kimberly. She’s knowledgeable and experienced with excellent recommendations for the client. Because of her experience she’s able to manage expectations on results around each visit. I will be back!

I went to this spa after trying a couple of different spas in Soma and Marina. Both I and my boyfriend got full body massage and loved it!Sharon was exceptionally good. I have had back and neck pain for so long that I forgot how it felt to be absolutely relaxed. It felt really great even for a couple of days after the session.The salon is in a great neighborhood. I guess it was easy to find street parking as our appointment was on Monday. But, I assume it is possible other days too.They have interesting packages for body wraps and facials. I am planning to go back and try them out.

I was walking on Union St. and as I came out of Sephora, I noticed the sign outside and thought, I can use a facial and massage! So glad I went in as they had an opening in 15 min. I had the most relaxing facial and the massage relieved all my tight muscles from walking around this city. Im visiting and am not used to these hills.Sharon was my therapist and she was so welcoming, seemed very knowledgeable, asked questions so she could customize my treatment. I loved the facial products, Cinq Mondes - a French organic/natural line, exclusive to their spa right now. Immediately I noticed my skin was smoother, brighter, more hydrated and I ended up buying the cleansing balm and exfoliant. Ive been using it for a few weeks and absolutely love it! I cant wait to visit again, in the mean time Sharon said she could ship me products - free shipping for orders over $100. Highly recommend!

Recently visited Serenity Wellness Spa for my first ever body warp and a facial. All I have to say is WOW:I was a little hesitant at first to try a new spa and to get a body wrap due to my asthma. Most spas are over powering with artificial scents and there products cause irritation for my sensitive skin but not Serenity Wellness Spa. All of there products are organic with natural/real ingredients I can pronounce so no asthma, skin irritation or allergy issues to worry about! The spas atmosphere is calming and relaxing and the staff was attentive, knowledgable and polite.The services I received were amazing, I left the spa relaxed with glowing youthful skin from the facial and warp. My skin was hydrated, smooth and tight.Will defiantly go back to Serenity Wellness Spa and refer all of my friends!Thanks Sharon for an amazing experience.

Due to the challenges of this lockdown, we had to contact the owner via phone for advice about body issues my husband and I were having. Sharon was able to suggest using the Alana Botanic line for my husbands sore elbow. She later suggested I use it on my swollen ankle after a hiking accident. She then researched other products she has for good bone health since my accident is really a mildy fractured fibula. Sharon takes the time to listen and then consider how to be a part of our whole body wellness.

Ive had facials in the past at various places from high end to moderate and have rarely gone back for a second time...the results just werent there. However, Ive been going to Serenity now for the last few months for facials and am sooooo pleased! Its so relaxing, Sharon uses top notch products, and most importantly my skin looks great. I had the microdermabrasion the first time I went and it was great. Since then Ive had peels. Both are fantastic and my skin never looks red or flaked afterwards.The atmosphere a Serenity is calming, casual and without pretense. You never feel rushed...I fell asleep the last time and didnt want to get up from the heated table. The prices for treatments are quite reasonable and you always get some samples afterwards. Im the kind of person who usually throws them away or lets them collect dust. However, they use such high end products with wonderful results, I use them right away and cant wait to get more! I highly recommend Serenity!!

I came across Serenity on SpaFinder where I had a gift certificate so decided to try them out, primarily because of the good reviews and convenient location. All in all, it was a good experience but with a few negatives worth noting.I arrived 10-15 minutes early only to find the door locked with no one answering for several minutes until someone came back from their coffee break which I found a little odd. The space was neat and clean and the staff was professional and welcoming. I had a 50 minute massage which was great. The therapist adapted the session to my needs and made sure I was comfortable throughout the session. I would have had no complaints about the massage itself except that the room was right next to the reception area so there were 5-10 minutes where I loudly heard an entire conversation going on outside of the room. It appears that the rest of the rooms are in the back so just be sure to request one of those!

Excellent spa. Nakia is the best massage therapist I have ever known. She is really good at workout out knots and deep tissue massage techniques. She is also a very nice person and its always good to see her and catch up. Sharon is also a great therapist and she gave me a good facial. Ive been going to this spa for a year and a half and dont go anywhere else for massages - no one is as good as Nakia!

My visits to Serenity are mini-vacations. As soon as I walk in, I feel relaxed -- soothing music, warm and comfortable decor, hot tea, and a friendly welcome from the staff.Ive been lucky enough to get facials from Sharon for the last two years. And they only get better! She recently revamped the spa, renamed it, and added the Cinq Mondes line of botanical products. They smell amazing, and work magic too. In addition to her knowledge of skincare, she is a health and wellness coach who brings a holistic approach to beauty (from the inside out).Every facial with her is customized to the state of your skin on that day. Today mine was dry and flaking a bit (must be the cold weather), even though in general my skin tends to be oily. To combat the dryness, she started with an oil-based cleanser. Then the steam, extractions and other steps in a typical facial (not sure everything thats happening, just that it works wonders)...she added some micro-dermabrasion to exfoliate and prep my skin for hydration. She mixed a special gel mask for me, which stayed on for 20-30 minutes. In the mean time, she massaged my neck and shoulders, feet (with hot towel treatment), and even my hands (which really needed it with all the work I do on a keyboard). Heavenly!All I know is that when I look in the mirror afterwards, I look 10 years younger! My skin is glowing, brighter and the fine lines are gone. Theres a dewy freshness to my face that I wish I could wake up to every morning. Whenever friends see me afterwards, I get compliments on my complexion (usually without a stitch of makeup)...which is a sure sign that the facials are awesome!Besides facials, I come to Serenity for deep tissue sports massage from Nakia. I like it with very strong pressure (she is used to massaging NFL players), and it hurts so good! Im usually sore from surfing, hiking, biking or yoga, and I need someone who can work out the kinks. She is a PRO...and knows how to get to the hard to reach spots to release muscles and fascia and facilitate movement. Highly recommend her amazing skills!

I have been going to Sharon for years as part of the wellness program. It is such a good deal and worth every penny to be pampered every 4 to 6 weeks for an hour. I moved out of town but still come in to San Francisco - I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Im a fan of deep tissue massage and have tried all sorts of different styles and massage therapists all over the world. Most of the time, the pressure isnt deep enough. For those that are, I feel great on the table but the aches return a few days later.Nakia is a masseuse for athletes and know all about muscles, the body and how to release the tension and stress. Unfortunately, when I travel or when shes not available and Im desperate, I sometimes regret going to others as they now seem not as fulfilling. Sharon, the owner, and rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful, although I cant really attest to others as Im addicted to Nakia like crack/cocaine. ;)

Signed up for a last minute pre-natal massage with Machie while on my babymoon in SF and it was wonderful. And Im pretty picky about my massages.

The detox program offered by Mlis does work! In 2010, my husband and I completed the 30 day program. Weight loss and normal lab tests were amazing. Since then, we have been on a Mlis vitamin regimen; Sharon recommends which vitamins are appropriate for Seniors. We have been on 3 yearly 7-day detox programs and have learned to make wiser food choices. I just reordered a years supply of Mlis vitamins.

Comfortable, friendly, relaxing and juuuust the right pressure for what I most needed and asked for. I will definitely Italy be back.
