I get a massage a week and I try different spots in the area. This place accepts Spafinder so I thought I’d try. It was not clean and smelled like sweat. The massage was to light. I asked for deepTissue. Will not go back

I really dont like leaving negative reviews, in genera but especially for small businesses, but after my horrible experience and the managers unwillingness to do anything about it, I think its necessary.The first time I went to OParadise, I had a great experience, so I was excited to go back; but when I did, it wasnt just the WORST massage Ive ever paid for, but an awkward and uncomfortable experience in general. My masseuse was noticeably not feeling well, sniffling and burping throughout the entire 90 minutes, and after the first two or three minutes, I wouldnt even call it a massage anymore. She was mostly just rubbing me with one hand for most of the time, left the room partway through probably to blow her nose or something, and seemed generally distracted, doing something to one side of my body, but not the other, leaving my leg uncovered and cold, and ignoring me when I asked her to apply more pressure. At one point, she started to attempt massaging me with her knees (I love that part) but immediately gave up. Whats worse is that a few days later, I got sick myself, and my masseuse is the only person I came in contact with who had any signs of being sick.When I reached out to the manager saying that at the very least, my experience was unsatisfactory for paying over $100, the manager seemed to not take it seriously AT ALL, denying that they let sick employees work, blaming my bad experience on different massage styles, and only offering compensation in the form of cheap certificates for services I never expressed any interest in and would never use. When I asked if there was any way I could have credit towards a future massage instead (I told her I wasnt expecting a full refund), she insisted theres nothing she could do and then stopped replying to my emails entirely.Disappointed is an understatement -- I even told the manager multiple times that if we could work out some compromise, Id probably be a repeat customer in the future, and generally tried to be as reasonable as possible. Im sad it didnt work out.

Either scheduled appointment or no appointment I have no issue being seen. When I do schedule an appointment there is a follow up call to confirm my appointment. No appointment I don’t have to wait either but I make the appointment just in case. I’ve gone 3 time and every time I have had excellent experiences. I go with the 30 min body massage ($60) that starts with them standing on you and using their feet. Then get down and work from neck down. It’s a very professional and clean service where they wipe you down afterwards with a hot wet towel. They will ask for a tip at the end and I believe for the service provided they deserve it. No bad experience yet. Very relaxing with the scented candles and music and dim light that I almost fall asleep every time. I would definitely recommend this place for any spa services.

This is very bad massage place that I ever see it before 👎. Very bad service, and very bad massage.

The facility is clean and well maintained. Massage + Sauna pricing is great and the masseuse friendly and skilled. Walkin without appointment worked all the time for me. I have become repeat customer.

First time going today. Went in for the first appointment at 10 am for the package that included 60 min massage and 60 minute body scrub. Holly was my masseuse today, and did a great job.I specifically like that they helped me right away upon arrival, have a locker room that has electronic bracelets to unlock for your clothes and belongings, a full station inside the locker room with q-tips, cotton pads, blow dryer, lotion. The shower is great, and heats up quickly. I did not use the sauna or steam room today, but good to know its there.The only negative I could think of was that I was cold when getting my massage. The room wasnt heated enough and I would get goose bumps on the half of my body that wasnt being worked on. Granted, it could be that is was a brisk morning, and I was the first appointment. Also, there wasnt an kind of sheet cover that Ive seen other places use. Instead, you are using one or both towels to cover your body.

I went for a 60 min full body massage. I really liked the way that the place looked. The person at the front desk was really nice and made me fell comfortable. Even the massage felt great (at the time), regardless of the questionable techniques. The masseuse even asked if I wanted water which was really cool. However, she shortly after demanded that I give her a tip which I found very rude. After I left I didn’t feel rejuvenated, there was no after effect or feeling of goodness throughout my body after the massage. I left her a tip and it wasn’t a bad experience, but I will not be coming here again.

I have a stressful job and getting massages is a regular part of my self care. Just moved here and my wife treated me to a spa day. I may never go anywhere else for a massage again. One of the best days of my life. Amy was outstanding. Make sure to plan time for the sauna.

My wife and I got a couple’s massage here. The room was well decorated and the masseuse was very professional. We got the aromatherapy package and were very satisfied with the oils used and quality of massage.

If i had the option to give 0 star I would’ve done that.The worst service ever. Firstly it’s over priced, but regardless we gave it a try— thinking they would have extra ordinary service due to their hogh prices. But my masseuse was so rude we were forced to tip $40.Do not try this at all. The worst place to go.

Ive come here twice and each time I leave I feel amazing. I always do the deep tissue and each therapist has made me wince, groan and moan from the pleasure pain of relieving tight muscles. Thet definitely know how to give a great massage and the staff are very kind. Time goes by quickly and when you are finished, you will feel fantastically sore. Highly recommend.

Love coming here! If youre a last minute booking person like me then this is definitely the spot for you. I usually call same day on the weekdays of course and Im able to get in. Kimberley is who I request to do my massages and shes fantastic. Very reasonable pricing as well. $60/hr $70 for hot stone. Included in this is their sauna, steam room, and showers too. Youre all set for a spa day that wont break the bank. 😁

A little more pricey, but if you make good use of their sauna, steam room, shower services then that can make up for the cost.Come in 30 mins before your scheduled time, change out, shower, and sit in the sauna to warm your bones. You can also do some basic stretching at this time.Go in there and do your thing with the masseur.Once finished, i usually enjoy relaxing in the steam room before showering and going home.

1st time here. I got a full body massage for 60min. Its $60. (I think the 90min is $90, for those wondering). Beware, if you pay with card they charge you $3 and they dont post this anywhere, so please bring cash. I obviously brought a cash tip, but had I known, I would of just brought enough for everything. The massage was good, the lady who helped me, Vivian, did a good job. She asked how much pressure I wanted before which is nice. Some will just go straight in and hurt you. Not with her. Included with your charge is entrance into the steam room and sauna room. Ill be coming back.

The person that gave me a massage today put an insane amount of pressure directly on my spine. I repeatedly told her softer but regardless one shouldnt be putting direct pressure on the spine.Really made me question if shes actually licensed and if I continue to get massages here, Im going to end up injured from unlicensed people who dont even listen when theyre clients say they dont want hard pressure.

Massage was nice. Rating 3 stars because I paid before the massage and also included a tip. After the massage the woman asked for a tip. Then when leaving the cashier asked again for a tip. I felt hassled at that point for something I already gave.

This was my first massage here and it was surprisingly amazing, Im not super crazy about massages, but they have changed day mind. The massage therapist, Holly, is very talented and professional. I signed up with them immediately after for a follow up next week.

Nice, not busy on weekdays and fair I like it. Locker shower is nice and clean!! But the break place for cooling is stool chair on collider area infont of open door, both front and back door is opened , Hopefully, to make the air circulated and fresh it is good. But on the contrary when you get out of sauna or steam, the blowing wind right over heated body, I got draft!! Having exposed The body to high heat breakdown immediately blowing wind it has a huge health impact iI dont know...The rest is nice!!

They say they close at 12. I arrived a little before 11 pm to see a flashing open sign and the door was wide open. I asked if they did deep tissue and the lady said “we’re closed now.” I said that your sign and website says you’re still open. She said, “the last time for massages is 9 pm and only the steam room is open.” I then asked how much is the steam room and she said “sorry, we’re closed.”This is America.

Got a massage here a week ago. I expected a licensed massage therapist instead I got some lady literally hopping around my back with all her weight. Ive been having awful back pain ever since... getting an MRI done next week hopefully they didnt do any serious damage. Be careful coming here.On top of everything the lady started asking for tips $$ at the end which goes to show you the type of place this is.

It was wonderful, I was so tense before the massage. After the massage I went home and right to sleep.

I went to OParadise Spa today after some searching for a legit massage therapy place in San Jose. My rating is for the overall experience. They provide you with a secured locker, two bath towels, slippers and a robe. They let you use the spacious and clean steam, sauna room and shower with the massage service. I would recommend requesting for Kathy. She gave me a 90 minutes therapeutic massage that included ashiatsu. Her feet are just as fluent as her hands and pressure was adequate for my therapeutic need. This place would have my five stars if the front desk guy would have been assertive, attentive and quite frankly better at customer service. I am sure with re-training, he can achieve better CSR skills.

One of the best Ive ever been to period. Sauna and steam room part of the service. Shower and locker area is clean and well equipped. Mai gave one of the best massage Ive had.

This place is ok. Its very clean very quiet relaxing however I thought there was going to be EXTRAS, only to find out theres nothing more than a good massage. It has me confused cuz this place is on Adult search and rubmaps which has almost all the happy ending places? The massage is so good an hour and a half goes by way to fast. If anyone knows something I dont, or am I doing something wrong please let me know asap!

This is the best sauna/steambath spa youll find in San Jose! Clean facilities, many amenities, helpful staff, and respectful fellow patrons. Love coming here!

Holly provides a fantastic massage. My favorite part is walking on the back and thighs. Using the steam room afterwards feels incredible. I am glad they survived the idiotic covid shutdown.

Price increased to 100$. Dont even bother to try. There is nothing at all special to pay 100$ per hour. Lots of dencent and fancy places around at 70 per hour.

Price increased from $80 --> $100 for a 60 mins massage. They will be definitely losing customers.

Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby hands down the best in there.Ive probably gotten a thousand massages in my life but By far Ruby took me into another Healing and recover physically as she let down her magic.Them hands felt like 30 years Experienced.Cool personality, professional.I recommend Ruby.

I went for a massage and was charged tips without my authorization. If I didn’t leave tips was for a reason, I didn’t like the service. No need to take my money without my okay.

I liked the wet and dry sauna. It was relatively clean and the prices are competitive. I felt like one of the showers where broken and I think I caught a cold from one of the patrons there :(
