Great massage, helped relieve some built-up shoulder knots and ease my tight muscles from work stress and workouts. I recommend the deep tissue and thai combo, felt very relaxed afterwards.

Got a couples massage for 90 min. This isn’t a normal setting. You go downstairs into the building. You walk throughout the hallways and then enter your room. The room is very warm which I liked, the massage table is not heated though.I wanted relaxing and I requested “soft” pressure, but still needed to tell the masseuse a few times throughout the massage that her pressure was too hard. I did not feel relaxed for the majority of the time and at points I couldn’t wait for it to be over. I was confused what the massage technique was exactly. My husband also reported it seemed his masseuse seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. He wanted deep tissue and didn’t get that either. Will not be going back and I do not recommend. $320 for 90 min. Not worth it.

I had a 90 minute deep tissue with Annie, and she was one of the best therapists Ive ever had. A truly amazing massage---my body felt better than it has in a long time. I highly recommend Annie. She is wonderful.

I had a fantastic masssge today with Amanda! She’s highly skilled, nice deep pressure, very intuitive, loved it. If I lived here I’d be a regular for sure!

I have quite a few areas of pain, tightness, and knots and Amanda focused so well on the spots that needed attention. Great, highly recommend it!I had very bad headaches due to hard back tension.Then I found Amanda. She spontaneously had time in the evening and even came to my hotel apartment.She was very nice. The massage was very strong, as I had requested, because of my tension, but it helped a lot. Afterwards I felt much better.I would do it again and again!

Ive been going to Amanda every couple of weeks for about a year, but this weekend she was booked and I really wanted a massage. They have a new therapist, Grace, and I thought why not? OMG she is every bit as good as Amanda! Her style is a little different, think way more intense deep tissue. Maybe that was just because I told her I wanted maximum pressure. Anyway, she found every knot and tense spot on my entire body and obliterated them. I literally feel like I have a new body! Now Im not sure whether to book Grace or Amanda on my next visit, I love them both!

Asked for a deep tissue massage. I was face down when the massage started. Without any warning, she was on the table, walking on my body for the first 15 minutes of a 90 minute massage.I was in a great deal of pain and told her it was difficult to breathe. She said to relax. It’s hard to relax when your ribs feel crushed. My knee twisted as she stepped on it. I now have chronic pain in my knee and difficulty sitting in a meditation position.I won’t ever go back. I hope your experience is better if you still end up going after reading this review.

Went in for a couples massage, we got Grace and Amanda as our therapists. Afterwards, we both agreed that it was probably the best massage either of us have had in our lifetimes. It was genuinely that good, and weve been to 5 star spas and resorts all over the world! The place was not fancy, but it was clean, cozy and the temperature was perfect (I hate being too warm or cold during a massage). They are also right downtown on State Street so we went and had a lovely lunch after our massage. It was a perfect Santa Barbara experience.

I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda and Touch of Heaven. She is a very talented therapist and the setting is clean and relaxing in all respects. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be coming back!

I just had the best massage I’ve ever had. I’ve been to a couple of different places in SB but this was by far the best. Asked for a deep tissue massage and to focus on my upper back a bit. I was so knotted and tight. Felt so good after.Amanda will now be my go-to massage therapist. I am now booking appointments monthly.

We a had 90 minute couples massage and it was wonderful! Amanda and Grace knew exactly where we were tight and stressed without us saying a thing. My wife and I booked *two* couples massages here on our vacation in Santa Barbara. We had a little bit of a hard time finding the spot — it’s in an office complex on State street. But once we were there, we were met with a star-lit room, two comfy massage tables, and two great masseuses. My wife had Amanda both times and felt amazingly rejuvenated after having done intense exercise the days before. Amanda was strong and expertly worked out knots on her back with a combination of deep tissue and Swedish techniques. I had her sister Lidi who gave a completely relaxing Swedish massage. We greatly recommend this gem.

Amanda is very lovely and professional. I went to her with pretty bad neck/shoulder pain and she did her best to work on that and my whole body. It was relaxing whilst also a good amount of pressure, which I often find hard to find! She also called me immediately when she found that I had left my necklace behind which is very important to me! There are several good Thai massage spas in town. But its usually luck of the draw to find a truly good therapist, and even if you do find one, its a safe bet theyll only be on staff temporarily. Not the case here. Amanda is an excellent independent therapist applying authentic Thai massage technique. Her shop is clean, warm and serene. Great location and easy parking. Her rates are very competitive and well worth it.

I just had an in-home massage from Amanda and it was absolutely wonderful. There are several mobile massage therapists in town but she is the best! She was right on time, set up quickly, gave me one of the best massages Ive ever had and charged me a very reasonable rate. I will be scheduling with her again!

I have found my Go To masseuse. I tweaked my low back unpacking so I needed a massage before I really regretted things. Amanda squeezed me in for a one hour. (I think she squeezed me in during her dinner break.) A bad massage can make an issue worse BUT a great massage will help a body to recover. Well, that night I slept great and I woke up as if my back never flared up. Her massage was spot on. I completely agree, Amanda is a sweetheart and one hour isnt long enough. This is my first massage after the pandemic, so its literally been years since Ive had a massage. My old therapist moved her office to Carpinteria which is a pain to drive to with all the construction so I found Amanda who is downtown. She is amazing, and if Im being honest, 1000% better than my old therapist. I am so happy I found her!

If you want a Thai massage in Santa Barbara, this is the place to go. There are a couple of Thai shops on Upper State that are great, but I am always put off by the noise (people coming in and out, therapists talking to each other, conversations in the massage room next door, etc). If you want a private, QUIET, relaxing Thai massage, this place is about the same price as the shops and Amanda is as legit as they come. Great massage, great experience.

I just got out of a 90 minute deep tissue massage and it was the BEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD! Truly a remarkable experience. I walked in with a ton of pain due to breastfeeding my 3 month old baby and I walked out like a new woman. I can’t begin to recommend this service enough. Truly a miracle worker. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
