I recently visited Cielo Spa with a gift card my husband bought for me. While the massage and facility were beautiful and relaxing, I was very disappointed with the initial interaction. As soon as I walked through the door, Tova, asked about the “tip arrangement”. This felt very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. The worker also asked if I wanted my husband’s card to be charged or if I would pay, which I felt could have been settled after the massage. Additionally, I had to look up the cost to figure out the price and calculate the tip, which was quite annoying given that this was a gift meant for my relaxation. Unfortunately, this stress overshadowed the entire experience. I would have given this place 5 stars, location and facility are great. However, being asked for a tip as soon as I walked through the door, was very distasteful. And yes, I still left a tip, I always leave a tip, I don’t need to be harassed for one.

I had an amazing deep tissue massage with Roxanne. She is truly a gifted therapist who not only provided me with pain relief but also an afternoon of pure relaxation! My friend and I were able to enjoy some time away from work and recharge. The day spa is so beautiful, too. A perfect sanctuary!

My wife and I came in for a couples massage on our anniversary. We’re from out of town and it’s always hard to get a feel for a spa online, but the positive reviews here were overwhelming and I’m happy to say that everything lived up to (and beyond) expectation!One of our massage therapists was Jennifer. I can’t remember the other’s name but they were both excellent, attentive to our needs and problem spots and left us feeling refreshed and limber afterward!The scheduling process was professional, efficient, and easy. The facility itself was clean, orderly and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We would absolutely recommend Cielo Spa and look forward to coming back if we’re in the area again!

I was just looking for a place to get my legs waxed during a long trip and found this place, that was cheaper than other places. I had an appointment with Jennifer and it was amazing.I have a relatively sensitive skin, and it didnt hurt a bit! She was quick but very thorough, and super nice. If I were a local that would definitely be my usual place:)

Loved my two facials with Roxanne...professional, soothing and much needed in this time of stress. I loved the Fountain of Youth which is not on the menu and you can tell her I sent you to get this long lasting facial. I am excited....I booked another for next week!

The quiet, serene, clean spa feel. You transfer to another place inside. The massage is the most thorough and relaxing and the location is easy to get in and out - which is not always easy in Santa Barbara.

This place is tucked behind salon u (formerly walter claudio) on state street. it appears tiny from the outside, but inside it is cozy and clean and the treatment room was huge with a porch adjacent. i had the organic facial done - which was by far one of the best facials ive ever had. the products she used are hand made from a small company somewhere in the northwest. they were fabulous - smelled delicious and were not harsh, but very cleansing. on top of having great products, roxanne (the facialist) gave the BEST hand and arm and scalp and neck and shoulder massages - it was a double treat both for my face and my upper body! i left feeling very rejuvinated. as an added bonus, i didnt feel any sales pressure at the end to buy any of the products. would i return? you bet!

Emily and Gina were awesome for the wife and I! Only reason not 5 stars is its a hot day and the air conditioning was broken. Will be fixed soon were told.

I had one of the best massages here recently by Katherine. She is intuitive, knowledgeable and gifted when it comes to treating both body and mind.

Friendly, clean, and quaint. Environment was rich with yummy smelling essential oils. Great massage, deep and relaxing.
