Love the vibe. Leah makes the best mojitos. The happy hour is excellent. It is from 12-5 with excellent drink specials as well as other great specials through the week. I highly recommend.

Great little bar, has a great selection of beer and snacks. The open mic night was full of talented artists! Plus pool tables.

Ive been going here for years. So many of my friends perform here. Last night night I was told the ATM is for paying customers only. Before even getting a chance to start a tab. To be honest, Its been losing its status as a comfortable safe place for me anyway.Ive had a great time here up until a couple months ago. I hope others have a more welcoming feeling about the wormhole. Im going to explore some of the other nearby spots.

Definitely a grunge style dive bar. They have live music and comedy shows which is fun. Hole in the wall kinda bar with great service and pool tables.

The one time I went here to see a friend’s band, the bouncer tried to tell me that my LEGITIMATE DRIVERS LICENSE was FAKE, despite the fact that I was 23 YEARS OLD! I had to get the manager involved. You guys have had several people complain about this issue. Either get a better system to figure out real ids from fakes, or lose more customers. Your choice.

The venue has a cool vibe and most people that work there are very nice. I enjoyed hanging out and having a few drink while watching a show here. I performed here with other groups at an event and the sound engineer was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!! He was VERY RUDE to my team and I. He insulted use belittled our humble beginnings and set up. He threw our things around in an aggressive manner. I do not plan on ever coming back to the bar solely because of him. He tainted the entire experience with his disrespect. He kicked me off stage and I did not notice him giving other artists and issues. I had witnesses in the crowd ask me if I was okay after watching me be treated so poorly during my performance. He did an amazing job at being negative and rude. I have no intention of coming back ever again and will not recommend anyone visit the place.

I had so much fun doing karaoke on my visit with my girls. The guy didnt allow country song though which was weird. Otherwise great time.

A local gem with a 70s rock atmosphere. They have pool, games, live performances, karaoke, and food by Bandanna Burgers thats some of the best seasoned food to touch my lips. There are a lot of regulars who are friendly and treat everyone like family. Would recommend to LGTBQ+, retro souls, and SCAD folks!

Would call this place a dive bar, but its pretty huge and has a stage for performances. Great vibe! Will be back!

The employees were very nice but seriously lacking in customer service skills. We ordered our little neros, and they never once asked if we wanted a drink and didnt even bring water.

Love coming to this bar, but they told me and my boyfriend that they don’t have a drink menu and they never had one, but last time we went, they did have one last time because we ordered a drink called “Beetlejuice” and I remember loving it. The bartender was kinda standoffish but she was nice. The food that they serve here is also really good.

The Wormhole was an invigorating experience.We attained tickets for a comedian that was performing there (Daniel Van Kirk). It was an enjoyable show. The bartenders were very friendly. Overall the whole night was a great experience.

Went for a comedy show on Fathers Day. Some pretty good comedians from the Atlanta area. Great show.

Look, youve got to understand that the wormhole isnt a place you go to because you like the wormhole. A. Its the last place open. B. Its cheap. C. You are there for an event. Its a neighborhood grungy bar. There are nicer places if thats what you want, buy if you want a dive, grungy bar with its very own bicycle gang, the wormhole is your place.

This is a cool bar in the middle of a great area of savannah they got great bartenders, karaoke, and darts...

Bartenders on point, beer is cold. People are good, it gathers an odd crowd. These is also this wonderful claw machine. I couldnt get anything out of it, but hot dog, I tried!

We went to see Medal Militia, had a great time. The restroom configuration is a little confusing, there could maybe be better signage.

Chill little hole in the wall with a great happy hour. Music and random happenings happen here if you look up what they do werkly!You never know what youre going to get.Julian is my favorite bartender and I enjoy his wit and skills.

Great independent music venue with amazing sound and friendly staff.

The manager Dante is a gem of a man, with superb hospitality skills, that both my Pop and myself felt totally welcome and at ease. Its not fancy. Its real casual with genuine people having a good time. Enjoyed a .75 game of pool, and drinks are reasonably priced, as well. It has a large stage, and I am looking forward to returning for a show.

First impressions are important. Lived in Atlanta for 15 years, came down here 3 weeks ago. Within 3 days, I was in this place. 4 incredible bands, packed, nice people, great sound, nice staff. Never saw ANYTHING this cool in Atlanta EVER.

Drinks are pretty affordable, staff matched the vibe. Not my taste in music for the night we went but everything else was good! There was people trying to fight the moment we walked in, and I felt it was handled poorly and made the environment weird, but still had a decent night. I would come back again!

The bartenders were super chill and the drinks were super cheap. Also, the comedians are really good and the live music too. I can see why this place is a popular spot. Only thing I would say is to give people the itemized ticket just so it’s transparent what you’re being charged for. Other than that this place is legit.

I ordered again tonight because I got a black/dark purple banana with my order it was so cute !! I got a light blue and red one tonight !!! Ahhh I am living !! The burger was amazing and I ordered 2 just to see if I would get 2 bananas today and I did !!! Im about to smack down 1 and save 1 forever tomorrow. Im so happy because I have 2 more beautiful bandanas for work. Idk if they give them in person orders but the is still killer! ID go there EVEN if they didnt! Get the rockstar its nuclear!

What a wonderful atmosphere! Late night trivia seemed so fun, and I plan to get there earlier to join in next time! Bartenders, Dante and Joe, took great care of us and made great conversation. Well priced beers, looking forward to trying the food.

While the staff is not always the most pleasant (maybe they were just having a bad day), they do have a good selection of food and drinks.What I liked most about this place is that they are really accommodating to SCAD students. My friends and I shot a short film here, and they had a reasonable price for the few hours we were there. The karaoke is also fun!

Nice bar, BUT the restaurant inside called the Bandana Burger... to die for. Best burger Ive had in this city. Cool packaging, great service and a really cool owner. Make sure to check out this place

Nice place for my first time visiting Savannah Ga.

Super cool place! I went out with my boyfriend to a comedy show they were hosting and didnt feel out of place! The entire crowd is super laid back and surprisingly accepting. It has a super cool grungy dive bar atmosphere, and the employees that worked there were all amazing. The bartenders were fast and the drinks are cheap! I already bought tickets for the next show, I will be back. 10/10

Seems like a neighborhood hang out where everyone is your best friend.Cheap food and drinks, but youll only notice how cheap it is when looking at your receipt in the morning wondering how you spent so little and yet got so hung over.Drinking and playing bingo is a wonderful combination that I had never experienced prior to coming here.They make a pizza hot dog and several other wonderful takes on bar food.Live music venue on certain days of the week. Also, comedy shows, open mic, and karaoke nights.Pay to play pool tables (cheap) and a few other novelty games (e.g. pinball).Some outdoor seating available.Seems to be vape-friendly.

So dirty that you might get staph... Full of mean regulars and unfriendly staff. Door guy is horrifyingly mean. Food is worse than McDonalds. bottom of the barrel bar. Not even a dive bar. Its just lame trying to be cool. Everyone there thinks they are the coolest person ever. Super duper woke

The place had a nice atmosphere but to be honest the bouncer was extremely rude to my friends. One of my friends was having her 21st birthday and he didnt bother to read her ID and instead told her she couldnt buy drinks. When another friend accidentally left her ID at home he kicker her out. I understand he was doing his job but he was being rude while doing so and he even attempted to kick ME out just for being in the same party as her even though I explained to him that I hadnt even purchased a drink yet. If I hadnt been there for a friends band we would have left very soon.

Affordable drinks ($4 G&T) the comedy show was a blast. The bar itself is bigger on the inside and has a nice mixed crowd for everyone. Even though theres a lot of people at the bar I was always served in a timely manner and had my drinks well mixed.

First off, this is a dive bar- very much so. Please keep that in mind before visiting. But if youre into dive bars this is a place for you. Pitchers, pinball, and lots of live activities (from comedy to drag to karaoke). They offer pitchers- as Im writing this PBR is $8, tall boy cans of it are $3, and Pitchers of craft are $14. The food is good. Not amazing, but it tastes fine and unlike a lot of dive bars its safe to eat. I definitely recommend this place.

The place seems cool, and I would love to be a regular since I live nearby. Unfortunately, they have the worst bouncer I’ve ever encountered. My roommate and I went over there for an 18 and up show (not 21 and up). She’s 20 and I’m 22, but she was denied entrance and nearly had her driver’s license confiscated despite being old enough to be there that night because the bouncer thought her completely valid Connecticut id was fake. One question: why would she have a fake id that says she’s under 21? Many of my friends have similar stories, and until this is no longer an issue I’m afraid the Wormhole won’t have my patronage.

This place is awesome, but its not for everyone. if, like me, you yearn for your slightly younger days spent drinking whiskey with gutter punks in comfortable, but hole-like bars, the wormhole may just be your new favorite place.the food isnt too shabby either. it tastes straight up homemade. there are some super interesting shows here, and fun events.however, if youre looking for some brightly-lit, highly organized joint with pretentious drinks, and a bougie menu, head elsewhere.

Wormhole is like a second home, although its been awhile but im sure its just as good if not better now. Was the first bar I went inside just about a decade ago. Been great the whole time since. The owner and employees are consistently awesome, and most of the bands, artists, and performers that have come through have just been phenomenal.

Friendly staff and a comfortable lounge. The live music was soulful and a nice variation from a jukebox or stereo. The food was delicious and hot, made to order, and the place was veey clean. I was there mid-week and it was quiet, so I cant say this is the norm. Its just my experience, but Ill make my way back.

Would love to be a regular here because of the music scene but the bouncer makes it difficult. The bouncer has taken my friends real drivers license. I am over 21 but I find myself avoiding this place sometimes because I don’t want me real ID taken by the bouncers. I understand following the law and I’m all for that but they are a little over the top. The bouncer is the fist impression of a bar and the guy I’ve encountered is very rude and unwelcoming. I love this bar but I hope they would get a new bouncer because the vibe is amazing.

I have been coming here for about three years now. And it still hasnt lost its charm, bartenders and door folk are easy going yet very professional, the food is always fast and delicious. Clean restroom, well maintained pool tables. Plenty of parking. This place is a great local haunt.

I have been a long time supporter of the Wormhole. They are one of only 4 venues in town that are genuinely supporting & bookinng local & independent artists. Mad love for the venue. It has been one of the best music venues in town for years.

Stopped in after seeing the bare while driving by. The good is excellent, there is quirky live music, the drinks are fairly priced, and the staff is fantastic. So their pool table isnt the best, its cheap and still fun! And who doesnt love a good round of the classic Killer Instinct?

Excellent Bartender! She was fantastic! Cool band line up as well. Happy hour between 12-6. I heard the burgers were pretty good, but didnt indulge.

The Wormhole is a place where all people who are respectful are welcome young and old. It is a neighborhood bar, a dive bar (and that is a compliment). The food is really very, very good and it has a vegan menu as well. The tacos are great and the burger always cooked just right, that and a bag of chips and your drink of choice will set you right. Billy behind the bar is someone my wife and I are always happy to see.

This place discriminates you if you don’t have an American license or passport. Bartender served us then said she couldn’t unless we had a valid USA id.

Four star cuz they dont have any food and I thought there was karaoke every night or at least some nights. I love to sing so that was disappointing. I loved the drinks tho and the staff is so chill. I love the diversity and everything..Very cool.

Stumbled upon the wormhole while my husband was trying to find somewhere with food and drinks. The regulars were so incredibly friendly, that my husband forgot to order food. Came home with a souvenir hoodie. Its not exactly a night I remember, but its definitely one I wont forget!

Phoned an order in ..(you know the old fashioned way) So, was met with a guy on the other end of the line that had no idea really if a) he could do that (take an order from a customer whos coming by to pick up something from your kitchen. Im sorry but are you in the business of making money at this establishment?)-- okay next: b.) Where a pen is & c.) told me it would be ready in about 10 minutes . I really dont have issue except with (c) it was more like a 30-minute wait for a cheeseburger to go out of their kitchen cooked perfectly, nicely presented I might change one thing that I didnt care for and that was eating mac and cheese that was like shells and cheese. I would go a step further and make it a little more homemade or something??? I dont know but for the price of $11 the burger was fine to go maybe have a different option for a side other than mac and cheese young lady at the bar very efficient took my money made sure I got my order later never saw her again until my order was ready-all good- you know I expect such a high level of customer service and then when I dont get it..Im so disappointed even in a bar. P.S.-Im harder on folks i guess because Im in C.S. (customer service)... go figure.

Interesting place for sure. Wide variety of things going , comedy , karaoke , live bands pool and darts. Small outside seating area. Neighborhood does require caution .Food is pretty good but not a highlight.Go for the atmosphere.

Went in for lunch with my husband and 13 year old while travelling and was treated poorly by a rude bartender. After we ordered a beverage and sat down to play an arcade game, he pointed my son out and shamed I am OK with him being in here as long as you watch him. Mind you, this place advertises FULL MENU & has ageless novelty games and pinball. Upon ordering a second beverage, he hollered at me to NOT put them on the table. At this point, I did not think it was worth mentioning the poorly poured margirita and bloody Mary that declined in quality over the first round. We decided we were unwelcome and left, swiftly. Its a shame - we were hoping to have lunch. Overall poor experience despite cool atmosphere and being recommended by a local record shop in the same neighborhood. If washed up day time too cool for school sorry punk rock bartenders are your thing - it will be a great fit. Otherwise, I would say skip The Wormhole.

We went to the Wormhole to see the Freak Show, and we werent disappointed. First off, its a bar, ok? So, it is what it is. Its a place where people drink and get hammered. Thats why we cant have nice things. But, the staff was super nice and the food was much better than expected. So, overall, its a great place to see a band or freak show or get your drink on.

Went to 8 pm show on 11-7-15. Venue was trashy and in a bad neighbourhood. Comedians were not funny at all. Several people got up and left to include us. I paid for up front table but the speaker was so loud we had to vacate the table and move back since the sound guy wouldnt turn it down a little. $15 dollars for two small plastic cups of wine and a coke.Left feeling ripped off and will not return. Suggest you dont either.

This small town cafe has a laidback atmosphere. hometown college graduates serve the alcoholic beverages and sodas. the bartenders are friendly folks. The wormhole has live music 6 days a week Monday through Saturday night. the rock bands have talent on a national scale.

EXCELLENT sound for a smaller venue. Been there on two different occasions. Once for a DJ night and once for a rock show. Both times the mix was great. Good food and a good selection of beers.

Its simply the best. Great spot for both chilling out and playing pool🎱 while drinking some good cheap beers (PBR Tall Boys!!) or raging to some kickass live music 🎸🎤🎶🍄💃! Local art 🎨 and talent🎹🔮🎭 from around the east coast! I give it 5 stars, hands down!! 🍻CHEERS🍻🔊🎶

Supremely comfortable, casual, and fun bar with awesome burgers and live music. I caught some Karaoke on my visit. Nothing better than intoxicated Americans butchering their favorite songs.

The Wormhole is my favorite bar in Savannah. Best bartenders, amazing food, fun events, and for the most part great people running around. I also love playing music there, either open mics or if my band gets a gig. Best sound in town.

Walked in and waited next to the hostess stand to be seated like any normal person might do. Bartender condescendingly yells over “there’s no hostess, it’s a bar.. not a restaurant.” Ok.. so you don’t serve food? “Yeah bar food” he replied under his breath.. Maybe the guy was having a bad day. Either way he was a total jerk and we obviously didn’t stay.Just wanted some wings and a beer. I don’t understand why he had such a pretentious attitude towards us.. oh well

It isnt a bad place. It is just a strange place filled with weird people who will make you uncomfortable. The drinks are not great either. The staff are friendly enough and it has potential to be nice. I may re-rate this one if I ever get the nerve to revisit.

The crowd was eclectic yet small enough to feel personal, like youve been coming here all your life. Something for every taste in people. The energy in a relatively modest space was great. Im still feeling it.

Im banned for reasons that I dont know, also the owner that I dealt with WONT tell me why..just that Im banned.Probably because I called out her customers that were harassing/ bullying me and other people, supposed to be a spot where you dont get harassed and or bullied but I DONT KNOW SHE WONT TELL ME!!!!Also I was told by someone else that I was banned for screwing people over but yet she still hasnt said who I have screwed over.But to be fair The Wormhole in and of itself is a cool place and has good music from time to time. The king of dive bars in Savannah. Great food, live music, trivia nights, comedy nights, pinball and arcade with great prices and a fun crowd. Id reccomend to any age group looking to hang out and have a good time . Pool tables and darts ready as well.

Really cool place to hang out in savannah. The food is really good. Burgers are out of this world. All kinds of different bands and various entertainment every night of the week. This is one of the coolest places because of the different people it attracts. One of the best places Ive consistently been to in savannah. One night you can catch a comedy show and then the next night a dj and the next a live band!! Would recommend for sure.

This place seemed to be nice at first. 2 or 3 pool tables. A stage with an open floor for light dancing. Some vip like area near the back. Thinking we just didnt mesh well with the Monday night crew. We only had 2 beer before we quickly realize the crowd there was not our crowd In a total of 15 maybe 20 mins it started to seem more like a roach motel. And we were the bait. We quickly called the lyft to rescue us! Kia Angel is our girl!! Order her if you need to get lyfted!

Great place to listen to music from a live band...really cool people, three stars because they offer a vegan burger but they cook it on the grill with regular meat and that defeats the purpose of ordering a plant based burger....I had fun on the dance floor in a short time thanks to the Kool bouncer, laid back, young crowd, with a few oldie be Goldies thrown in, I enjoyed the music, would love to stay longer next time...

Visited this place while in town. Was looking for a local spot with some local music. This place did not disappoint and the tacos were amazing! I look forward to visiting again when I come back to town.

Well this place wont take you through a Wormhole unless you let it. Monday open mic is pretty darn cool and the friendly staff and atmosphere just so happens to go right with it. And yes cheap prices for adult refreshments.

Always good to catch an open mic sesh with affordable drinks and a great vibe watering hole. Late nights on the weekends will usually have the best underground House music in the city.

Could not get a drink in any reasonable time frame. Guy behind the bar with long hair said he wasnt a bar tender and it was obvious. He spent more time walking around than serving drinks.

In my neighborhood, Longboarding distance. Awesome Sci-Fi theme, especially for a VFX and Film student like me. Friendly staff, awesome chill atmosphere, and great drinks. And the music isnt bad either. ;)

Doorman tried to deny the legitimately of my license because i’m visiting from out of state with a bachlorette. thankfully my friends a lawyer and loves arguing because he was trying to keep my id. instead of getting management involved to mediate he just wanted to pocket my perfectly fine license?? sir if it’s good enough for tsa idk why you’re having an issue with it.

Music is good drinks are good but dont order the food. You would do better letting a 5 y/o nuke you a snack cause thats how the food rolls here of course if thats your thing then do you

Great neighborhood bar. It’s sort of a dive bar but it’s really nice. It might be the best place for pinball in town. Comedy shows there are fun too.

Legit spot, place has proper attitude and food thats totally edible. People that complain about service should get their priorities straight, its a dive bar for f@$ks sake. Go to Chilis if you need your hand held.

The absolute worst food Ive ever over paid for, and let it be known that my expectations werent high to begin with, the food is just that baf. Portions are tiny, prices are steep ($8 for a small handful of chips served with nothing but queso sauce, one piece of bacon and jalapeños for their loaded nacho option; when ordering nachos at a bar, one would expect to be able to share them, especially at $8), the traditional Philly served with one side for $10 was seriously disgusting and drenched in the teriyaki sauce that came with the really disgusting WAY too salty veggies saute with teriyaki sauce (I cant have carbs) creating an even more nauseating experience. Ultimately, descent spot to eat if youre looking to spend $20 on barely filling your belly and diarrhea.

The bartender did not want to help u if your we Mexican. And tried to keep money that wasnt hers .. she had a rude attitude towards Hispanic no good

Open mic night was so much fun. If you’re looking for the local “dive” with some cool folks and quirky atmosphere, this would be it.

If the guy at the door hadnt hassled us (and only us) about our IDs being 100% authentic (they are), then this would have been an amazing experience. I still plan on coming back for another comedy show

The geometry of the venue twists the senses to an intoxicating state of turmoil, and the sounds from the stage plumb the inner workings of the soul. I could not be sure that the sea and the earth were horizontal, or that sanity and order still reigned in the universe. Just a typical night at the Wormhole, relentlessly pressing the envelope of the sublime.

Came for Comedy night. The comedians were amazing so was the food. However, they took forever to let me in the door thinking my ID was fake. Im almost 30.

Great people, fun venues, good food! No worry parking, come as you are and make new friends, good service and friendly staff, sound system best in Savannah thanks to Jeff!

Its not for everyone, a true dive among dives. A real locals only bar that offers cold beer and great bartenders.

The best dive bar in Savannah. Go for people watching, playing pool and darts and karaoke on Thursdays. Theres also food, live music and comedy.

Its a dive bar and can be fun but appears extremely dirty. Also the bar is unfinished amd received the award of The Stickies Bar in Town by a local publisher.

Fun place with links through the wormhole to all sorts of things from various time periods. Nachos were good. 2 for 1 drinks during happy hour.

Bartender was great, drink prices are fair, little crowded and didnt care for the comedians they had that night but overall a fun evening

Seemed like a decent place to hang out, but the staff didnt know how to pay for tickets to the show or how much it costed. Security was real nice though

Bartender touched his nose the entire time while he was making our drinks, yuck, he not one time washed his hands, seeing whats going on with covid I dont think this is acceptable..wont return

Nice dive bar, with arcade games, pinball machines and darts. Mostly a student crowd. Fun trivia night, late on a Tuesday night.

Cool atmosphere but the bouncer is atrocious. so rude for no reason and has an extremely boosted ego for someone so terrible at their job

Weird place, has live comedy on some nights and karaoke on others, the place is a strange confluence of odd objects, it also has a pool table off on the side, and some arcade games on the other, yet it remains to be some kind of strange bar environment with a mix of people coming in. interesting place, worth a stop.

Beside the dreadful quality of the food. The wait was over an hour when we were told the food iuld be ready in 15mins. Don’t trust the estimate time
