Shibui Spa

The spa was inviting and beautiful. I received what they called a customized facial. First time treating myself and it was well worth it! From the very beginning of my treatment, I felt so relaxed almost falling asleep on the table. It was quite the experience and would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Shibui❤️

On Friday March 10th I called the spa in anticipation of our upcoming trip and I was assured that my friends and I could pop over after our breakfast at Five Pines Lodge where we were staying. I questioned the woman that it would be okay and that we didn’t need to book services to use the spa and she assured me it was part of our stay at Five Pines. I said great and repeated then that we would be over after breakfast and she said great. Unfortunately this morning after breakfast we walked over and were told that we could NOT come in and use the spa unless we had booked a service. As a matter of fact Sylvie the manager was extremely dismissive and unyielding in our assumption that we were invited to use the spa. It was very disappointing as we were here for a birthday celebration for our friend and had planned on a spa day for Sunday. We were turned away and are now heading home. I will think twice about coming back since we were expecting a relaxing spa day after hiking the previois day. I feel that Sylvie should have honored the information I was given and allowed us to end our celebration with a soak. Very very disappointing. We are now going home in our bathing suits since we checked out of our room and cannot even change. Unacceptable and poor customer service.

Great pre-natal spa experience. They provide you with a locker, robe & shoes. You will have access to a co-ed sauna, hot tub and space outside to lay in the sun. Also provided tea, lemon water & a trail mix snack.

Such a beautiful zen space and a great massage, soak and sauna was the perfect day with my daughter! Totally rejuvenated and pampered.

Best day spa I’ve been to in a long time. The staff was super warm and friendly, the massage I got was excellent, and the facilities are clean and luxurious. I will definitely be coming back. I’m so relaxed I could melt into a puddle!

I cannot say enough about this relaxing and welcoming space. I treated myself to the Tejasana treatment and was so pleased. It is a sensory experience that is calming, rejuvenating, and deeply satisfying. I relaxed afterward outside on a lounge chair with some tea in a simple and beautiful space. As someone who enjoys quality spa experiences, this is in my top tier.

We are a group of women who have been coming to Shibui for years. We always feel such decadence and privilege to be able to enjoy such luxury. This year I personally had the finest massage by such a warm and inspirational spirit, Zoe. I felt nurtured, cherished and appreciated. My facial by Sandy left my skin glowing and feeling so indulged. Thank you for offering such a consistently beautiful experience we always look so forward to. The ambiance of the inside is lovely, but since covid, the place has gone way downhill and staffs incompetent rude people. So sad to see a five star experience go away. They cancel you with no notice and make excuses that make no sense. I was a regular, but would never go back.

My wife and I visited the spa today for a couples massage. I have had a few massages over the years but Georgia, my masseuse, was wonderful, she has a gift. This was the best massage experience I have ever had.The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The locker room was stocked and supplied with everything I could have needed. If you want an enjoyable and relaxing experience you cannot go wrong at Shibui.

Very relaxing atmosphere. After soaking in the spa, my husband & I received an amazing couples massage. I wish we had arrived earlier to spend more time and be able to use the sauna before our treatment. The sound of the fountain added to the relaxing feel of the experience. I hope to visit again!

My facial was relaxing and the gal was very talented. My husband and I both had “deep tissue “ massages. Not so deep. It was relaxing but way overpriced for the services.

I got a prenatal massage from Kim and she was fantastic! It’s difficult for me to get comfortable at this point in my pregnancy but Kim was great about making sure I was comfortable and that I had everything I needed. I really enjoyed the massage and can’t wait to visit again.

Went for couples massage, beautiful facility. My massage was not good! I basically got a rubbed down oil bath. It was supposed to be a deep tissue massage. I mentioned to the front desk that my massage was not good and the girl just smiled and asked me to pay. Did not care that I wasn’t happy with my 150$ lame massage. Not ever going back🙁

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Five Pine Lodge and Shibui Spa was #1 on our list of to-dos. All we can say, is that it was the BEST spa experience of our lives! We had a swedish couples massage which was the best we both ever have had. This spa is immaculate, peaceful, gorgeous and the staff is out of this world! We absolutely will be back.

Kendra, did our intake and was very rude. We ordered a facial and massage for two, but were only given one service each. While we waited to go for our next service, Kendra told us to leave and that it should have been explained to us. It wasnt and we wouldnt have spent our time or money here, especially after being treated so poorly.

Everything was fantastic! I would have given five stars if during my facial, Sandy didnt wash her dishes. She should clean her bowls, brushes AFTER I leave. Other then that, it was great.

Its a whole experience. You arent just getting your service, but you get to enjoy the whole relaxing facility. You are made to feel special and talen care of. Loved my experience here!

I have been to Shibui a number of times. Love the Eastern influence in the well maintained decor. Great massages. Very, very relaxing. I will be back.

Beautiful, clean spa. I got a body scrub with an essential oil massage. My skin is the smoothest it has been for years!

Refer to my moms google review on how this place runs their establishment. Brooke also should not be handling the phone with clients - SO RUDE. I would never want someone talking to my mom the way that BROOKE did.

Pedi was bad... I feel like if your going to give a good pedicure you need to know how to paint the toes right. I was disappointed at the service and the results of my pedicure

Sounds like it has a lot to offer. Very high end prices if your just in need of a massage.

We dont make it here nearly as often as wed like, but when we can, we are always pleased with the comfort, relaxation, and level of service.

Horrible owner and front office manager. Very unprofessional! The front office manager treats employees with such disrespect. The owner seems to support her behavior. Therefore, I cannot support this business.

Love the eastern decor. Get there early to soak in the hot tub. Fantastic message every time Ive been there.
