I have no idea what Renee Hamrick‘s problem is with this facility, but it is top-notch in my opinion. Trent has always been kind, courteous, professional, and goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers. I have never heard him raise his voice to any customer for any reason whatsoever. So the latest review from Renee takes me by surprise. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

By far the best shop in the county. Trent is great and always knows everything there is to know about any of the products they have. Not only is he the kindest dude working at any of these spots ( most people just give you a blank stare or try to up sell you on stuff they know nothing about) they have the best prices too!

I have been going to this shop for 3 years. Since day one, Trent (and Hamp) have been the only ones I trust to shop from. He knows his stuff back-to-front, is honest (even to the detriment of some products, he pulls no punches), and has a heart of gold. I trust that he would never let me buy anything that wasnt up to his snuff, and Ive done thorough research on what brands are dirty and what isnt. Happy Camper and Trent are legit.

Horrible customer service! I went in and asked about a surcharge for using credit cards. He told me there was one but he didnt know how much and it changed depending on how much someone spent.He then asked if I was selling or buying and I told him I was a customer. When I took a photo of the counter area, with no one in it, he started demanding to know who I worked for and telling me I didnt know what he had been through, without going into detail. I told him I was trying to make a purchase and he was being very aggressive about a photo of a counter.He repeated I didnt know what he had been through a couple of more times and was yelling at me as I was trying to browse, following me behind the counter and causing me to start shaking from his aggression towards me. I told him he was being very rude and I was trying to make a purchase and I asked if that was okay. He said I could buy something but would not stop yelling, going so far as to threaten to call the police, right after he said I could buy something.I said fine, I wont make a purchase then and walked out of the store. He followed me out of the store, still yelling and refusing to leave me alone. I have never felt so unsafe in my life.On top of the horrible customer service they also are charging more for using a credit card but clearly not disclosing this fact to their customers and cant even tell you how much when asked.

I have no idea what Renees problem is but I have been to that store many times and I have never seen Trent behave like that to anyone and I dont buy that bs for one minute. I know Trent very well and that didnt happen and I truly believe that. Sounds to me like she has other issues. The customer is not always right and especially in this case.

Great location, great selection, great atmosphere, and great staff. I cant imagine taking my business anywhere else at this point. Ive always spoken with Trent when Ive been in the store, and he does a fantastic job. The selection can make you feel overwhelmed if youre new, but dont be; Trent knows his stuff and will help you find whatever you may need.

I recently popped into The Happy Camper after the renovations and the place looks phenomenal and very well organized. The new changes give off a much more welcoming and friendly kind of vibe. Every time Ive visited the store, the staff are always super helpful and kind. No doubt, the Camper has the best prices and selection for their Delta 8 carts. Ill definitely be coming back soon! :D

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I went in there for the first time yesterday and the guy working (I hate that I can’t remember his name especially since I even made sure to ask for it again right before I left lol) was very informative and took the time to answer questions and educate me on the different products they sell. I have experience In sales and taught many different strategies to make a sale and I honestly feel everything he said to me was from the heart and genuine! They really do care about there customers and I appreciate that so much!! I will definitely be back!!Thank you all so much!!

The first time I visited The Happy Camper I left my small purse & wallet in the store. I was devastated losing it and thought of having to replace all my items. My heart sunk remembering I just cashed my SS Check. When I backtracked to the Happy Camper, Trent had my purse behind the counter and handed it to me with a smile. He was going to wait a few hours to see if I came back before he even opened it to obtain identification. Trent is the “REAL DEAL”. On top of Trent being knowledgeable of his products and grateful to educate, he reinstated my faith that there are truly good and honest people in the world. I’m from Logan, left for my appt to Charleston, ran off and forgot my vape my appt was right down the street from The Happy Camper. The owner is an outstanding person, great personality and a lot of patience lol I had to look at all most every flavor,I would definitely recommend this great little store and will return if I’m ever in that area again

Very welcoming and friendly. They told me about their original location in Huntington as well. I look forward to checking out the store when I have more time on the next visit. South Charleston location is worth the odd parking.

Great stuff, and great staff. The person behind the counter was helpful, and knowledgeable, and when he didnt know something, he actually pulled up a video on his phone to help answer my questions.

It went under a remodel ! And looks great it’s still growing! They have the best delta 8 on the market and kratom for days along with pretty much everything you need in a smoke shop!
