Uncle Stus Smoke & Vape - South Elgin

I just had the best experience at Uncle Stu’s. Thank you “Victoria” for the outstanding customer service! Really made a positive impression for their place of business for me.I also informally met Uncle Stu and what a nice man. Definitely just became a repeat customer because of today. 👏🏽

June 29th 2024. Website says open at 9am Saturday morning as do the store hours in the window. Waited around till 9:10am, went to the grocery store came back at 9:30am. Still not open. This has happened a few times now. Vape shop in South Elgin off 31 cheaper, and opens on time.

Love this place! I’ve been going to Uncle Stu’s for about 10 years first in Carol Stream and now Elgin! They’re always so helpful and genuine I like going in and checking things out and I’m not afraid to ask what things are ☺️ lol

Delaney was super sweet and very knowledgeable. Found exactly what I was looking for. Definitely recommend this place.

Been going to this place for awhile now and they always have what im looking for. Darien is always super helpful and takes his time explaining the products you are buying and seems like he truly cares. Hes the most helpful worker there by far and ive been going here for years. darien is the man!

New to vaping, I chose Uncle Stus based on the reviews. I asked for some helpful advice but got none. Just the opposite. The only thing guy showed me was the one and only vape I have tried. The Posh 2.0.He was not busy. I was the only customer in the store. One customer came in I said to take care of him which he did and the guy was gone in minutes.He did give me a good price so that is why 2 stars. When I realized he had sold me a blueberry and a strawberry I said that is not what I wanted and asked to exchange them. He said, you asked for 4 different flavors. I had not. (I was okay with the Mint Ice since I expect that to be close to Spearmint). He refused to exchange them. I then said forget everything and give me my money back. He refused. I had not even left the store.I just wanted the Posh 2.0 spearmint menthol; two with nicotine and two without. (Again, I was originally interested in hearing about different vaping options but gave up on that as it was clear he wasnt going to do that.)With all of the vape stores out there, I do not recommend patronizing a store with such a rude, unhelpful employee.I wont be going back to Uncle Stus ever again.

I was quite surprised as to how well this place is laid out. Its inventory was impressive. The sales person was both very well versed in their products and didnt mind taking the time to explain them. Will I be back? Until the apocalypse.

Great staff, cool shop, but the glass isnt the best. I bought this bowl yesterday and it fell off my table 3 feet onto the carpet and snapped the top of the bowl clean off. Just sucks cause Ive had some glass go through a lot of moves, accidents, etc without a chip and this was a gift and broke within 24 hours from a soft fall. Other than that its great. Love their vape juice bar and knowledgeable staff.

Service here is unparalleled. I have been coming here for a variety of products for countless years and you can always count on high quality customer service and product advice. The employees here are some of the best in town and deserve to be treated as such. It’s always a blast coming in and seeing all the familiar faces! I wouldn’t change a thing.

I highly recommend Uncle Stus South Elgin location for the best customer service for any vaping needs. I needed to get a new vape mode and couldnt make a decision which brand/model to get. The manager Dominick who worked at the South Elgin location was so patient with me. He showed me displays and went over the features. When I asked how each device was filled, changed coils or pods, he demonstrated the four models I was interested in. Not only were the modes a good buy for pricing, but I was able to make a decision when he listened to which features were most important to me. Dominick was very knowledgeable, and helpful. I will be returning again for ALL my vape needs.

Nice little vape shop,would give 5 🌟 if they carried the vape pods i use,peoples are real nice and would help you out with your other special needs.Uncle Stu has my business anyway.

The best smoke shop in the area!! Will not be happy if these employees get moved to the carol stream store. It will really hurt your business. Your employees make this location the best. Please don’t change a thing regarding the South Elgin store.

The south Elgin location and Carol stream location is just a disaster… it was really sad to see the 4 amazing employees leave Carol stream(tanner, Logan, will and Mikey) and then Mikey ended up at the south Elgin and it was alright for a bit and all the employees were really good there for a bit and then they started leaving because the owner & “manager” (stu & Chris) started trying to force them to travel an extra 30-40 minutes to work at other locations while getting pay cuts and less hours. The shops are becoming a joke and are no longer wanting to work with the customers and are making it very clear that the employees are extremely replaceable… it’s truly sad because these shops used to feel like home to me and many others but it is no longer worth going. Feels very tense and unhappy now. I hate to see these 2 locations that were the best head/vape shops in Illinois go down the drain because the owner won’t work with his employees that have been there for several years(some over 5-6 years). Goodbye uncle Stu’s it was an amazing journey while it lasted!! Would leave 0 stars if I could but google won’t let me.

The guys that work here are fantastic. Super helpful, well mannered, funny and nice, but theyre always honest and helpful and they all deserve a raise. Prices are best Ive found around here

Best cape shop around. Glad to see theyre expanding. They always hook it up. They have excellent variety in flavors, equipment, and accessories/components. They will almost always accommodate any requests and will work hard to hone your taste to improve suggestions.

Guys were super cool, gave great recommendations and had some awesome deals. Got a new setup and forgot the batteries on the way out and they gave me 2 for free after all was said and done. Definitely care about the customers and their experience.

There prices are a bit high but whenever I need vape gear, UNCLE STUS HAS MY BACK!!

The guys there are chill af, went in the looking for juice. Not really knowing what I was going to get. They helped me find the juice right for me and for half the price anyone else wants. Now their glass wear is a different story, because its all locally blown, which is cool. If youre looking for top of the line pieces. Great place.

My first time here and I will definitely be back! They have a wide range of juicesespecially salt nic, which for me is not that easy to find a store with a good selection. They also have a kick a** selection of hand blown glass. I very much appreciated all the help from Anthony ✌️

For the most part they give me good prices for the stuff i want, been going to them for years. Paid marked prices and discounted prices. Really reasonable people, some of their vapes r kinda ehh but stick to the esco bars, they reallyvsell em or barely no profit so they arent ripping u off.. hope they stick around for more years to come.

The Employees are Amazing, and have much knowledge on what they are talking about. E-Juice at the store is worth the price you pay. Only premium juices like Space Jam, Cosmic Fog, Native Alien, Jetfuel, Cyclops vapor and more. Never walked into the store and left unsatisfied. They took care of all my needs.

Honestly surprised this place is still in business. Yes, the juice selection is decent, but seriously every time I go in there the employees act like youre not there and are of no help whatsoever. Last night I watched a customer who looked interested in getting a nice setup walk out because the employee couldnt help him if his life depended on it.

Everyone is welcome here, people are extremely helpful even when it’s packed full of people. Environment is always cheerful and is always filled with life. Talking with the employees makes me feel like I’ve known them for years and the same goes with everyone else they help. No store is as relaxed and friendly like uncle stu’s.

I just wanted to say that this place is the best, they were very helpful and very nice. I went in there to buy a couple bottles for my best friend, because it was her birthday and they helped me out so much and even threw in a free bottle from them for her. if your in the area I would suggest giving them a try. I know I saw a bad review from someone before, but that was with the previous owners. This owner has been there only a few months. So, go and give them some business please.

Best place for Vape Juice and THC-A

Shopped here for a long while now and have spent hundreds of dollars there. Bought two delta 8 pens and they died within two days of purchase still filled with fluid and they said there is nothing they could do other than sell me more and even told me that it happens all the time. Will not be shopping here again, because they knowingly sell bad products to their customers and doing nothing to help them.

To start of its a very nice vape shop. Has a seriously large selection of mods juice and more. Great employee that always help out with picking things out or just chilling with. Awesome lounge area also. Highly recommend going here.

CAUTION FAKE VAPES SOLD HERE. I went to this shop several times to purchase Hyde vapes. Upon going on the actual Hyde website, I discovered that these vapes lacked an actual authenticity code. The products were imitation knock offs sold at a higher price. I would not recommend buying from here.

Been here a few times so far and Uncle Stus has been the best spot to get anything vape related, knowledge on the stuff they sell and willing to work with you. All the staff there are cool, dude named Scott was there today and hooked me up with a new mod he was using and juice and Im liking it so far. If your new or had bad experiences with vape stuff this place will turn you around and not just sell you anything and make sure ur happy before you leave. Scott even set my mod up and got it going for me, dude was cool. All other vape stores need to come here and learn how its done! Thanks again guys!

This shop is absolutely one of my favorites.. And i have visited many vaping shops all over the state of illinois..They carry an excellent selection of juices and other vaping products to fulfill anyones vaping needs, and their prices are fantastic. The best and i believe the most important aspect of this establishment has to be its friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff who are always ready to help you with any possible question or concern. Wether youre an experienced vaping user or a beginner I highly recommend this business!! My one and only hope for this company is that they begin to use Perka or some other rewards program for their frequent customers.

I wanted to quit smoking cigarettes and try vaping instead. These guys were really helpful. They took time to awnser my questions and set me up with what I needed. Im in there every couple weeks now picking up juice. I really appreciate how open they are to helping people new to vaping.

Better than when it originally opened. Inside is remodeled with a vape bar and they have better juices. Could use some music and or a TV for those that wanna just chill. Nice little place to stop if you are in a hurry.
