I expected a rub down like most massages but this was much better. He asked what bothered me most and streched out those areas before the massaging of that area. He gave verbal directions of when to breath in and when to exhale on the stretch. It was a great experienceHe was polite and gave me stretches to do at home to help with me troubled areas. I cannot explain enough how great the experience was. I wish him the best but I hope no one reads this post so he does not get too busy for me to make another appointment. 😉

Azuka is the best. He understands the concerns and works on them during a massage. Each time I get a massage from this place, my body feels light and less sore.Very professional.

Azuka was wonderful! I felt at ease and enjoyed my 90 minute massage. He was very attentive to my needs, asking questions before we started, making sure the pressure was just right, and even recommending stretches I could be doing to help myself feel better. I found him through a Groupon but will be returning for the excellent massage! Highly recommend Bear Paw Massage!

My mother-in-law has been going here for over 30 years, and she loves Elaine Long, her stylist for all those years! Because of a short illness, she hasnt been in awhile, but that will be rectified this Friday, when i take her back!

Azuka was truly amazing! He put me back together after not getting a massage for way too long. Being a massage therapist myself I know better but finding a great therapist is hard since we are the pickiest of all clients!! But Azuka has a wonderful firm touch and he is confident in his abilities. Needless to say I floated out of his wonderful space feeling better than I had in forever! Salon hair cuts, nail service, Waxing, threading (even a barber shop here).There is a host stationed in the front to greet customers and also help steer you to the correct suites for any services your requesting.

I went to Lashed 4 Life Suite 116 to get luxury lash extensions and I was in “awe” when the Lash Tech was done. She is truly an Artist 💯. I love the clean and super friendly look of her room, the bed is fully adjustable, she is very professional. I left feeling just so confident. I will be her customer for life!

I see Erika with Hair flow by Erika at this complex who does awesome and legit keratin treatments not just Brazilian blow outs. The bathrooms in the complex were clean and had the nice soft toilet paper which is unusual but still nice all the same. Otherwise I dont know much about the rest of the building but as far as Erika goes and the bathrooms I can give 5 stars.

Not sure why there are many complaints. Every time I have gone, the atmosphere was inviting, people left satisfied and confident. If it is an issue of stylist... I suggest you use Veronica Mingle. She is by far the most amazing, gentle and talented hair stylist I have ever had!

Seny Berhanu (suite #109) is unprofessional and disrespectful. She does not afford her clients enough time to complete the requested service and treats clients like a burden. She sent me out the door with a choppy, uneven and incomplete cut and charged full price. Don’t waste your time and money on leaving the appointment looking and feeling worse than when you arrived.

Erika Arenas in suite 129 and if you miss the opportunity to have her do your hair you are miss out on the time of your life. She sweet and very professional my wife loves her and so do my kids.

I thought about where to get my hair done for months. I read Khamla’s profile on the website and chose her. I like the privacy and style of the suites and I thought omg I’m gonna finally get my hair done the way I want it cause this place has to only hire people that have great skills. Right? I don’t like small talk with stylist cause for 1, I don’t know them and 2, I don’t wanna be there longer than I have to and talking just slows the stylist down. Khamla talked immediately as soon as I sat down and I thought to myself oh no it’s 10am I’m not in the mood.. and she talked and talked the entire time about her personal life. I couldn’t believe she was telling me all she was telling me. I didn’t care! I could tell right away after she washed my hair it was no where near the color I showed her. I liked the cut but not the color. A few months later I wanted it done again and didn’t want to look through sites and find another salon and stylist so I booked with her again thinking she was just in a mood that day and more focused on venting about her personal life than doing a good job on my hair... this time it’s gonna be professional and I’m gonna leave satisfied. Nope! Same exact story. I immediately regretted booking her again. I wanted to just say never mind half way through the foils and leave. Once again not what I wanted. And she even charged me 30$ more than what she said she would when I booked her. 30$ more to listen to her complain about ex wives and baby daddy and kids..and sloppy with my hair again! I won’t book a 3rd time w her.. It is definitely not worth the high dollars. If take forever doing my hair cause your talking excessively at least do a killer A+ Job coloring it! 👎

Best deep tissue Ive had in a very long time at Bear Paw Massage!!!! Azuka was very professional and knowledgeable as well.

The only reason that I even considered this salon was because I was too slow on booking an appointment with my usual stylist at Glen Alan Salon, which is far superior. I then called Toni and Guy...booked. Lemongrass Salon...closed. Peyton Thomas Salon? Also booked. My day got better when I found an opening at Old World Salon, or so I thought. After waiting on the phone while the receptionist walked around the Old World Salon asking for openings, which I deemed a bad way of conducting business, I hung up and called back thinking she forgot.When I arrived I was directed to my stylist, Wannetta Unger. She started off by massaging my scalp with some gel product. After the massage she began cutting my hair. I asked for scissors on the sides and the top, she said ok. Preceding my haircut, she drenched my hair in water; this makes it difficult to determine how best to cut hair as it matts down your hair. She then took a comb to my hair...she combed me like a ripe Alpaca. The comb strokes were so intense that she scraped my scalp and I started to bleed; she asked why I was bleeding and I though to myself because you cut me!. After cutting my hair she took me to the shampoo station, which is always nice when getting your haircut. I then asked for a blow-dry afterwards. As I looked into the mirror, I noticed just how talented this gal was. I had hair strands of all different lengths on the side of my head, sticking out like a baby chick. She also had to retouch another part of my hair, a sign of her negligence.This is the part that gets me. The time comes to pay. I pull out a Visa, thinking that the lower interest rates would be better financially for her than Amexs higher interest rates, and pay. Thatll be $35. I was quite shocked to be honest. Since when did a crap haircut cost that much? She then took my card, swiped it, and told me to choose my tipping amount at the bottom of the screen. Classy. I tipped 15%, which brought the total in excess of $40.Bottom line: I was scammed like a kindergartner. I went away with a mess of a cut and nearly half a hundred dollars poorer. I would never, ever, go to Old World Salon again, even if it was free.

Excellent , professional and relaxing experience

Its rooms are leased to the person you want for services. On 2/1/20, they got some new tenants that are filling the hallways with strong smelling chemicals that surely are cause cancer. One person said they are probably using embalming fluid. Those rooms do not have separate ventilation which must be required in most places where government cares to regulate dangerous materials.

For the best hairstylist ask for Sara Brooks, she understands how to cut your hair according to the type of hair that you have vs what might work.
