The NOW Massage Southlake

The concept of a membership is great but there are not a lot of perks to being a member. The membership does not help you be excluded from cancellation fees, even though the booked appointment is paid up front through your membership fees, they still charge you a cancellation charge which is 50% of the service fee. Now Massage Southlake will charge you moments after your appointment has been cancelled and not even call you to let you know they have charged you. And so imagine that you have a membership, then you may have a balance in your account that could be used to pay the therapist. But, they still charge you a cancellation fee! If you call them to inquire, Now Massage Southlake front office staff will they arent going to charge you the fee but, they will then still charge your credit card the 50% fee! The membership is not worth it and they dont give you any perks or grace with cancelled appointments and will bill you above and beyond your pre-paid membership fee. Also the membership cannot be canceled immediately and they will charge you again the following month the recurring fee before you can get out of the contract! You can still use the credits for the massages in your account but only for 90 days after they bill you the last recurring charge the month after you cancel.

Amazing services! Very relaxing, professional service providers, clean, and beautiful spa! Front desk was very welcoming and let me know about the membership they offer! I will definitely be coming back. I appreciated everyone going above and beyond to provide the experience I had.

Wow I had my first message here today, I love love love loved it! I wish they had longer massage options because I would have done a 2 hour massage if I could. I got the 50 hour massage with deep tissue with my friends. We all had a wonderful experience. They first lead you into a separate room to ask about what you want to focus the message on, since the message room is one huge room separated by curtains / canopy type dividers (see picture) which loud ocean waves playing which is sooooo relaxing. Only whispering is allowed in the message room and it’s just so nice. Definitely want to go again. 10/10. My therapist… wish I remembered her name but she was fantastic! She had glasses and long curly grey/brown hair. 10/10 want her again.

My mom absolutely loved her Mothers Day massage with Christina! She said it was the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience shes had in a long time. Christinas techniques were soothing and made her feel completely pampered.

I had Satsa for my prenatal massage,it was phenomenal. Im almost due and my body was TIRED. thanks to her I feel great. she made sure I was comfortable. Definitely will go back after this baby

Girls at the front are wonderful! Ipad check in pain but that is on me. The therapist I was not happy with . Great pressure . However he never stayed in one place long enough to be beneficial. He also had poor energy , could not look you in the eye and insisted on this uncomfortable body pad . IN addition I was told not to put my hair up. So uncomfortable . I still do notknow why. Which I was clear about not liking both . Strange vibe .

The vibe is great and the massages are fabulous. The staff is friendly and mostly helpful.My main caveat is the membership and the staffs knowledge of how it works. Ive been a member for nearly 2 years, but life got in the way and Id amass a ton of credits. I would attempt to cancel and theyd suggest I pause, then cancel later. Id go every week for a couple months to use credits and share with my husband. Making sure I used the credits actually made things more stressful. Kind of defeating the purpose. :-PYou can only have so many pauses in a particular timeframe, I still dont know that timeframe because I kept getting different info. One time it was paused, another time they said it was and then called to say I actually couldnt pause, but then when I came in to cancel (you have to go in) they miraculously could pause it. After so many pauses and all the frustration, I did the math, realized Im too far into this cycle, its not working and Im out the money regardless. Its time to cancel. The lady who helped me was great and Ive been there often enough to have watched the hard sell some of them give folks, but instead she explained everything, told me the date I have to use the credits by and noted I could still share the credits with my husband. Turns out when I called to schedule him today that info was incorrect. Once you cancel you cant share. It was suggested I reinstate the membership and pause...but knowing I probably wouldnt be able to pause once I reinstated, I just let it go.I have 7 weeks to use 7 credits. Ill probably still go to The Now after the credits are gone. The massages are consistently great. I also love the Santal Tobacco scent they have in candles and spray. Just beware the membership, if you think it will work for you - great. Just maybe get a copy of the agreement to keep and review thoroughly.

Christina gave me hands down, the best massage i have ever experienced. She was extremely thorough, consulted with me about my troubled areas beforehand, and provided an extremely relaxing experience. I’m so glad i found her!

Jonelle is absolutely AMAZING, she had me so deeply relaxed that I started to fall asleep! The girls at the front desk are super sweet and the space is so relaxing and smells so good. I will be recommending to everyone I know.

Samuel is absolutely amazing! He is very professional and thorough with his craft! If I could bottle him or box him and market and sell his skills I surely would. (Smile) He is able to tailor is gift to meet the needs of each individual client. I have been having shoulder pain issues and each time I come to him my shoulder continues to feel better. I am always a little wary of places like these. But I’ve consistently had great massages here. I love the beach theme and the white noise type of sound they use. It’s consistent and sometimes the music at massage places is so annoying!

To the Owner who responded: Thank you for your message. Charging me an extra month should have been mentioned when the person at the front signed me up. It also does not apply to me as I’ve had this membership since last April. I would have come back because of the massage. That’s what you should be concerned with, not forcing people to be in memberships.Update, I came in yesterday and had a nice massage and thought okay maybe things will be better, only to go check out and have the same annoying experience. It’s not that I mind being offered services but when I say “ no, thank you” just stop! So as I listen and also realize that everyone in my earshot is going through the same awkward experience I say, I just want to cancel my membership. Which even though you can sign up verbally you must come in physically and cancel in person. So after I am given all of the reasons why I shouldn’t I am finally asked to sign an electronic form which only allows me to cancel if I allow my credit card to be charged one more time. She says, you have to give us 1 month notice. I was never provided this information. So exactly how does someone do that??? I stand by my original view of this place, I found them to be dishonest and a scam.I have had a terrible frustrating experience with this place. They seem to be more focused on sales than actual massage. My daughter made a massage appointment for me on my birthday. I came out of the massage feeling relaxed only to have it ruined by high pressure sales to join a membership or add extra services. I said no thank you but they continued so I finally said OK I’ll do the monthly at the minimum amount which is $75. They assured me it would be easy to freeze or cancel the membership at any time. My experience has been terrible. I requested my membership be frozen 6/7 and since then have received at least six different DocuSign documents with the incorrect dates. Each time I call or email and they assure me that it will be correct on the next document only to send me another document with the incorrect dates. I have also had to call several times in order to get into my account which still has not worked. Why would I have to sign a docusign? I am not buying a house or a car. I have other memberships that I can just go in on the app and freeze or cancel or I call or send an email and it’s done very easily. My issue is still not resolved . Also I was told if I cancel my membership I lose my $150 in credits. Some thing is not right here for me it was terrible and I do not recommend this place at all. I need a massage to get rid of all the stress I have had dealing with this place and their staff. I would not recommend anyone go here they completely ruin the massage experience with their lies and pressure to sell you something.

Jonelle is incredible. I had at the calm balm to my 80 minute massage and that was wonderful. She worked out so much tension in my spine area and lower back. Slept like a baby that night ! The ambience in here is very peaceful…if you’re not into ocean wave sounds for relaxing it may be overwhelming but I love it. It’s loud enough to drown out cross talk and the sound of the highway so it feels like a little oasis.

EG / supervisor, Josh, was great! I brough family from France and he did a great job introducing them to the now experience. My therapist Vince was awesome. Great pressure, and focus. Made a 50 minute feel like an 80 minute!

I just wanted to share my experience from the other day. I had called in to see about your offers and membership plans and just the gist of The NOW (I’m trying to get a gift for my wife for Christmas) and let me say, just superb! I’m not even a member and I felt so welcomed!Alexis or Lexie, whatever her name was! She was just great and has the best spirit even over the phone! I wasn’t looking to buy right this second, honestly I just was seeing my options and looking around before deciding but I’m seriously considering giving this place a shot! She went the extra mile to really help me out and let me know what you guys have to offer! I think my wife would just love the customer service just the way I did. And the way that young lady was telling me all about your wonderful masseuses/therapists, I’m sure my wife would just love y’all! Thank you guys so much again for being patient with me and really helping me out! I’ll definitely be stopping by or calling in soon to get the goods!

Do not sign up for the membership! It will take an Army to cancel the membership or pause it. I have canceled and paused because I have too many hours but they keep charging and charging every month

I absolutely love this place. Being a former Hand and Stone member for years. This place is just miles above. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and Azuka is hands down the best masuse I’ve ever had. His foot massages are the best and he always does a great job. Also the ambiance is perfect for prime relaxation. 10/10 recommend.

Great massages & environment but customer service & staff ruin the experience. If you a couple of minutes late they will be rude to you. I also had the staff push a membership on me they promised was very low commitment the gal at the front desk told me I wouldnt be charged until I come in each month. That was incorrect I got billed $80 monthly although I hadnt gotten a massage at all. Now am being asked to come IN PERSON to cancel 🤣 and they are still going to charge me for the next month because they need 30 days notice.Again, nice facility and quality of massage. But the company is obviously money hungry and dont really care about their customers. Wont come back although it was an enjoyable massage place. Staff ruined it.

Just wanted to say talking with your front desk associate Lexie was such a joy. She helped me and my husband figure out what we needed individually and was super kind and patient with us! She never stopped smiling as she helped us and wished us happy holidays! Need more workers like her! Absolutely made our day!

Came here and was not disappointed! i appreciate staff who are friendly and welcoming and happy to assist. I was helped by Lexi and she was so kind and informative and even held the door for me! which i appreciate because of my old bones! definitely will be making this place a favorite and will be coming back!

Don’t go here and definitely don’t book your future massage! They called at 2:30pm asking If I was going to make it to my 2pm massage when I never confirmed the appointment. Then asked if I can make it there at 3:30pm. Again, I stated that I never confirmed to a appointment that was made awhile back. Be careful …..manager stated that when you book the appointment that is essentially you confirming. Well, I’m sorry not everyone is at home 100% and waiting around to come get their massages and will remember when they booked it! Manager was not friendly at all and she then turned around and charged my credit card! Save yourself from the headache and go somewhere else! Great place but bad customer service.

I do not live in the area and am currently down visiting family. Word of mouth of this establishment has pushed me to experience The NOW.After completing my massage I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had in the massage world. The atmosphere is way different than any other massage experience I’ve had and I mean that in the best possible way.It was so incredible I almost felt drunk leaving this place.The NOW is a MUST if you enjoy a massage or even if you have never been to one before. Set your appointment and enjoy.YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

50 mins was more like 30 mins. Too much fluff. Too much time waste. V little actual massage. More pressure push. Not worth 160$

I am always loving my time @ The Now! This time with Gina I was even more impressed. Gina was knowledgeable and took great care of me. I expressed my body’s needs, not only was she attentive to those needs, she read what my body really needed beyond what I could have expressed. I am blown away! First time getting a massage! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Cici was wonderful and did a beautiful job! Definitely coming back for more. And the customer service from Dani and Monica exceeded all expectations.

My cousin had pre-arranged a massage for us and had already discussed this with Now. When I arrived, they needed me to fill out the intake form, however the person upfront couldn’t get the form to come to me via email. She spent some time on the phone trying to figure it out. By the time she had it figured out, it was 9:20 and my massage was supposed to start at 9. It was supposed to be a 50 min massage so I assumed they would just do it until 10:10, however the masseuse finished at 9:50. I ended up getting a 25-30 min massage when we paid for 50. I shouldn’t have been penalized because it took the person upfront 20 min to figure out how to get me the intake form. My other relatives went the day before and they said it took them 2 min to fill out the form because the person upfront just brought them an iPad, so I know it shouldn’t have taken 20 min.

Jay is an incredibly gifted therapist - he listened to what I wanted, and then paid attention throughout the massage to be sure my wants were met and I was comfortable. All my trouble spots were taken care of and I feel like a new person after our session. I highly recommend Jay!

Gina was awesome. Other places Ive been the masseuse didnt really listen to what I wanted and just did their routine. Gina listened and did the massage the way I requested. Scalp massage was relaxing and soothing. I snored a few times. :-)

Amazing, amazing and fabulous. This was a Mother’s Day gift from my Husband and children. Tara has gifted hands and her technique was the best I’ve had in a long time. I’m a avid client of massages and this was the best. I’m on a mission to repeat my visit. Totally grateful.

The concept was really cool. My massage therapist was super sweet but my massage couldn’t get over with quick enough. There was no massage.. it was just a really annoying lotion application that lasted 80 minutes.But the worst part was the girl checking me out! After saying NO multiple times to rebooking and not signing up for a membership she had the nerve to ask me “well what’s stopping you”, in front of a room full of people. I shouldn’t have been surprised bc she pressured multiple people during my check in process.

I can honestly say Cece gave me the best massage I’ve ever gotten in my life. I didn’t have to tell her much, she felt my body and knew where and how to work on it. The space itself was beautiful and clean. Staff were very friendly. I can’t wait to come back. 😊

I tried two different therapists and they were both the worst massages I’ve ever had. Neither addressed the areas I asked for. I was so cold for one I had goosebumps the whole time. Both of them I walked away more annoyed and confused than relaxed and one left me with back pain… the front desk staff was extremely pushy and couldn’t respectfully accept a no to a membership and then continued to push options on me when I went to cancel. You also have to pay another month, which means another bad massage or $80 wasted, after you cancel due to a 30 day cancellation policy. I “provided feedback” through the link they send both times and never heard back. Unprofessional all around.

While the actual massage was great the customer service is absolutely abhorrent. While trying to cancel membership I get told several inconsistent things from multiple staff members on different occasions. Only to get blindsided at my appointment with them shoving a form for me to sign in lieu of what was previously agreed to in writing (a docusign sent by email). I was told multiple times over the phone I would not be charged for the next month as I cancelled with the 30 day notice only for them to go back on this in person. One staff member tried to, what I can only guess, is to embarrass me in front of other patrons by insinuating I had “financial issues” and that’s why I was cancelling and treating me as if their asinine “policies” made sense. Then to top it off, hours after my appointment they charge a tip I did not authorize to my card without notice. Whatever you do, do NOT sign up for the membership regardless of whatever lies they tell you about the “ease of cancellation”.

Highly recommend coming here , great atmosphere. i thought I wouldnt find someone that could massage a bigger curvy woman and I found that person I highly recommend Alex, he has a great technique that he does. I dont feel like hes just apply lotion or anything give him a try he is really good. I brought my mom as well and she had chere highly also recommended she just very therapeutic and I used to enjoy my massages with her as well . my mom got a membership as well , will be coming back more often .

As a franchise owner myself (different franchise), I can say this operation is poorly ran. Horrible customer service, employees are unhappy with their managers, many red flags with this place. They over charge you and they are NOT willing to fix it. I came in person to cancel my membership but the front desk gal seems that she didn’t catch it, and then I was charged for a month. But that’s not the issue; it’s how we got treated when we voiced our opinions.Can’t stress how rude and pathetic the owner/manager is, this place is a disgrace to our community. It’s an absolute scam. Unbelievable! So many things that can’t be expressed here.

They have curtains instead of walls and doors. It feels like the people in the next stall are with you in the massage when they move or talk. The temperature was set so low on an already cold day, I got sick. The massage therapist was unkept. She started with deep pressure, when asked to reduce there was no pressure. It was a struggle! Not enjoyable or relaxing

I had the BEST massage experience here. The space is perfectly curated with lights, crystals, and scents that are automatically calming and empowering. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I worked with Janet, who was so knowledgeable and sweet. I’m going through a traumatic breakup and really need some healing energy. Janet guided me through personal affirmations, relieved my pressure points with special holds, and overall was such an uplifting therapist. I immediately signed up for a membership and am coming back in 4 weeks!!

I just want to thank everyone at the NOW since they accommodated everything. The girls (I believe Andre and Rachael) up front helped me with choosing what enhancements would go well with my pain. They were the sweetest. And great job to Leia for the great massage! I will definitely be coming back when I’m back in town. Keep it up!!!!!!!

Even though I had gotten my appointment time wrong and I was late, the receptionists and Leroy were amazing. I still received 10/10 service and the gals up front were so sweet and accommodating. I’m not sure what mystical powers Leroy yields but I walked in not being able to bend over to tie my shoes and after a mere hour he managed to have me feelin’ like a newborn. Coming from a seasoned/regular massage client, I’m super impressed with my experience.

I’m updating my review after the owner contacted me. There was an oversight on my membership and they made good on it. I love this place. The ambience, cleanliness, and staff are wonderful. Definitely my favorite massage place in Southlake!

If I could give this scam place ZERO stars I would. They have bad customer relationship management, inconsistent appointments, staff, and answers to questions. I was told I can always cancel my subscription. I am now 3 payments in, no massage because of cancellations, offered enhancements to death, and now the “only way” I can cancel is to come in in person,AND I’ll still be charged because they have a 30 day notification policy. Yet there was no policy when I schedueled a 80 minute enhanced massage that was cut to 50 minutes because “they forgot to schedule in someone else”. Yet when my masseuse wasn’t in, and when I needed my massage, it was consistently cancelled with no explanation and only “a free enhancement and 25 dollar credit” was offered. Idc about the money, but I’m paying for NO SERVICE AND BAD STAFF. DO NOT GO HERE!

This was my first time visiting this location. It definitely was a nice atmosphere and everyone was happy to answer any questions that I had. My masseuse Janet made sure to have a clear conversation with me about what I expected out of my sports massage (THE STRETCH) and she really took her time to work on the injured areas of my body. I left feeling brand new.I 100% vouch for and recommend this location. If you’re looking for a great sports massage ask for Janet!

Ive had 4 massages at The Now and they were all very good. I liked them so much I invited 5 friends to join me for a private massage party. Pamela and her group provided some beverages and were fun to hangout with before and after our massages. Everyone felt comfortable and praised their massage professional. Ive had a couple of active, deep tissue massages and two lighter pressured, Swedish massages and both were just what I needed. Jacob listens to me and makes the experience just what I need. Additionally, the products are so good! I love the eye hydration patches and the candles. When the candle is almost gone you can use that last bit to hydrate your hands. Love that!I have joined the monthly massage program and book without fail. I highly recommend The Now Massage in Southlake!

From the moment I walked through the doors to the moment I was notified that my service was done, I was in a state of pure tranquility. Not only was my therapist, Ann, professional however she also was able to give me day to day techniques to improve mobility in my shoulders and lower back.As someone who went the majority of my life without a massage… The Now has figured it out.Clear and honest communication. Relaxing aromatherapy and the kicker is a non aggressive sales team. I wasn’t hounded to buy a membership. I was however reassured that my time and money were well spent.If you’re new to massage. Ask for the stretch with the hemp calming balm. Great way to see what areas of your body hold more stress than you think!

RAJIN comment is definitely accurate I didn’t even get a massage here and i ended up getting sickAnd they called me and I told them I wanted to cancel mine you never been there before and they do not mention online that they will charge a cancellation fee , and so upon cancelling the lady says okay we’ll it’ll be 50 percent of the massageI’m like okay , mind you they didn’t state that on the website then my sisters gets the phone she says 100 percent of the massage and that they sent a text and call about the cancellation fee and in the text it doesn’t mention that and they never called ! They are very rude and unprofessional and I wouldn’t go hereJust for that sole purposeUPDATE : They did not charge my card and the owner did call to apologize and make it right so I’ll give them that 3 stars for accountability, Hopefully this can be a learning lesson going forward ❣️

Was lucky to end up with Ferran at NOW about 3 months ago and I’ve been going back every other week ever since. I can tell you, as a counselor who hears a lot of trauma and as someone who tends to hold an immense amount of tension in my body, Ferran continues to work WONDERS moving that stuff out of my system and is the best self-care/energy balancing I’ve found! She also gives the most relaxing prenatal massage ever, listens to her clients, and gives awesome tips when needed. It took me years to find someone worth going back to. Thanks NOW Massage! Especially Ferran!!

Rachel R gives the best deep tissue massage I have received in the Southern United States. If you have muscles that need to be worked out, she is definitely the person to see. My mother also has back issues and started seeing Rachel as well.

Chere Roebuck is a top notch masseuse. I had one of the best massages of my life. She is very personable and professional. Her deep understanding of physiology translates into a next level therapy. I will be scheduling her again soon .

They canceled a massage booked a month in advance on me within less than 4 hours of the booking. I’m not from the area, so a different time will not work- which was suggested. I was looking forward to a massage after a long weekend. And now I cant 😢

I live in Las Vegas but visited The Now massage at Southlake during my vacation. I’ve had several massages at various hotels in Vegas and I can say that Alex gave one of the BEST Swedish massages that I’ve ever had. The facility is so beautiful and calming. Pamela and Shelby at the front desk were so welcoming! Just an overall incredible experience!
