I have to admit, I havent been to a bar in quite some time. My mom loves this place! We decided to have a girls night out and I have to say, it was so much fun! The bartender was awesome, he used to work at a bar around the corner from my house. Now that he is at Mine Co. , Makes me happy. The drinks were on point. I listen to all types of music and this place does not disappoint. County, rap, hip hop, etc... I will be going back for more when I get a moms day off again. Thanks Mine Co.!

Wow! I came here for New Years Eve with my boyfriend and we both had a great time. They have something for everyone, the people were friendly and fun to talk to, and we both enjoyed it. They have board games too and a small back patio. I cant wait to go back.

Gotta love De Oro Mine Co. If your looking for a cool place with hreat live music (if I do say so myself lol) come on down to a locals spot.Every time my band Cherry Road and I play hear we have a blast! The stage test our ability as it is super tiny, but the sound is great and the crowd always has a good time.They have 2 pool tables and an outside patio that you can watch the bands from. Its the kinda place to come amd hang for a bit, not a quick drink.The crowd is a nice mix of all types of people, and can be a bit intimidating at first. That being said we have never had anything but positive experiences here. Not a fancy place so if thats your scene, De Oro isnt for you.We will defiantly be back to play again!

Love this bar! Laid back. Board games every day. Two pool tables, dart board, dance floor and stage. Good drinks and food times!!! I love this bar...

Ive been here before and it was great. Sat for 10 minutes before being acknowledged, and she said, I need to go to the bathroom, if you have not been served when I come back Ill take care of you. We finally got a drink. Finished and would have liked another, but they were too worried about the man falling asleep at the bar to serve us. They had to wake him 5 times. At this point, I had to wave them down to please close my tab. Wont come back due to the bad service. They cared more about the man sleeping than the people wanting to drink.

I never thought Id find myself in one of Spring Valleys dive bars, but I had to try it once I found out a musician friend was performing there. What can one expect at the self-proclaimed Ford Pinto of bars? Live music on the Tiny Stage Saturday nights, a couple of pool tables, darts, board games, and a friendly bartender serving up a very healthy pour of Scotch. My only complaint was the constant influx of cigarette smoke from the outdoor area. Stay classy, Spring Valley!

Great time service was good people were great drinks were strong but not too strong and tasted good 3 pool tables sound for music we went next door to la posta for food ( 5 STARS)so if that counts the food was top tier they are great over there too

The drinks at this establishment are well worth the money which is on the lower end of costs. Really well made by friendly, kind, and engaging bartenders. One of the owners, Chrystie is spot on in everything she makes, suggests, and creates. She isnt a mind reader so please dont say make me something sweet or strong, just ask for what you want. The music here is eclectic ranging from old school to country, rap, jazz, and everything in between. The music isnt overly loud and people can have a conversation or dance on the small but adequate dance floor. The 3 pool tables allow for patrons to not have to wait long to play a game. Speaking of games...board games, darts, and even a ring on a hook game that entertains people drinking for hours are available, an outside smoking area for those who do and plenty of seating inside and out are available. I hope you all enjoy this place which is a hidden gem in Spring Valley, as much as I do.

Super friendly and personable staff. I went in at 10 a.m. on a Sunday to watch a football game, and they were ready to go. The owner even bought my first drink! It was mixed strong, but still tasty. At lunch time they got pizza for everyone on the house. I really cant say enough good things. Ive definitely found my regular football spot in San Diego. Keep up the good work, yall.

Divey but friendly very chill and friendly people inside. Got 3 pool tables, games and lots of TVs. Probably a great spot to watch games with fellow fans

Best place EVER! Home of the $5 beer and shot! Over 20 different options. This is a locals bar but the crowd is very welcoming. If you find yourself in Spring Valley, California, stop by for good cheap drinks, live music Thursday through Monday, pool tables, and a great crowd.

Great bar owner and his family are really gd ppl without trying the Bartenders down to earth good listeners and serve u better then any bar Ive been too bit just San Diego but i man l mean everywhere!!!

Bartenders are decent. Security is basically nonexistent, sloppy, unproductive and rude. Owner tends to drink while harassing its customers. The atmosphere is filled with locals who exhibit roudy behavior. Not a place you would take someone on a date.

Great spot with new management that is investing a lot into making what was a dark dingy dive bar into a great neighborhood bar with a thriving music venue.Safe and fun for the ladies. Lots of games,pool tables,juke box, OH! AND THE BEER AND A SHOT FOR $5 SPECIAL ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!My new neighborhood bar for sure!!

Came here to see a band from Indiana called Chin Up Kid. No cover on a Monday night for live music? Remarkable. Gotten a $3 beer from the bar (Kona Big Wave) so it was a very low-cost night. Seemed like a quite good dive bar if they have actually obtained cheap drinks and live music. Never in my area yet if it was I presume I d be consuming alcohol below regularly.

New owners x2 years- Guillermo and Wayne are the best. Plenty of live music in a variety of genres with different activities during the week. They have free pool on Mondays. Lots of tvs to get your sports or whatever fix. Ownership keeps troublemakers out AND- the bartenders are AWESOME!!!Spring Valleys equivalent of Cheers.

Totally awesome place 👍👍! Every part of that place has something to do. Darts, Dancing, singing, pool tables, And all the employees treated everyone like family ! We all felt very welcomed....I play Drums for Evilution ,( the stage could be a little bigger.lol.) the Bud light on tap was cold and crisp. Wow! Ages 21-92+ I invite you all , Real easy to find.... I dont do reviews normally, but I had a reviewable experience today at this, my new favorite bar. Have you ever watched simpsons, family guy, how i met your mother or even cheers and wished there was a place you could go and feel at home or with friends. Drink a beer after work in good company? Well thats what I believe I have found in De Oro Mine Co.Prices are crazy good. $5 dollars for a shot AND a beer, every day, all day. They have pool tables, top of the line Juke Box, a nice long bar, plenty of tables and booths, an outside patio for smoking and even a table full of board games. I was not able to remember all the names of the owners and various employees on and off duty, nor their specific roles, but everyone I met went out of their way to shake my hand, learn my name and tell me all about the bar they are so rightfully proud of. The owner came over, gave me one of those stranger hugs and told me welcome home. I will definitely be coming here often from this point forward.

I love this cool local Spring Valley cocktail and sports bar. Still has a sports bar vibe. Friendly staff and Devon the KJ karaoke host is a ball of energy. Awesome. Karaoke Wednesday. Is a fun time.

Great casual, laid back, quaint atmosphere. Awesome bartenders, drink specials are off the hook, and free live music (check the website). Just an all around great place to hang out and have a drink or a few.

Great experience every time I come through! Stephanie, ladybug and Christy are great you get a 5 star bartender 7 days a week! Itouchtunes is on point everybody gets to play their jam. Good pool competition too.

Got me a date here and hell we wasnt even related. Almost kissed her too but my wife come in and said I had ta get home for dinner. Could have stayed cause they sell some awesome hotdogs and sausages there, the drinks are poured freehand and priced so you can stay for the live bands that play every night.

Local dive located in Casa de Oro. This establishment is a good place to unwind after a hard day at work. People are very pleasant and parking can sometimes be a problem if its a busy night.

Syco bartender white girl blond hair wears glasses hass a attitudes totally out of control for a nice local bar with karaoke football and rafles awsome place it could be a five star bar but not with her if possible avoid her at all cost very confrontational she tried to short me five dollars out 50 i got a pitcher 13$ took my 37$ for a tip come on wow when my friend aked me to play pool. Then she started yelling all bad carful a wreckinh ball ready to explode the owner G top of the wine kind of guy very respectable

It has so improved with the change of owners. The new owners are really turning the place around to making it a fun place to shoot pool, liston to music, and the customers are down to earth and easy going. Great place to party

Amazing dive bar. Once again I cannot believe how amazing this dive bar is. For love God, please dont ruin it for me you yuppies. Slow tables fast service. Bonus points if you know what a slow table is.

Like the atmosphere. Pretty good in prices and even have music most weekend nights. It can get full but even then you dont feel crowded.

I use to come here all the time the old staff were great funny, friendly now they have new staff that are rude, and impolite I went on my birthday and stood there waiting for a drink the staff worker didnt even acknowledge me this the second time two different staff workers... I use to love this place. 😞
