This place was amazing! So relaxing and the people were so friendly and knowledgeable. I had Joelle for a massage and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had! And Lily for my first ever facial which left my skin glowing! I also did the Wild Lime scalp massage which I’d highly recommend! Between my treatments I was able to relax in the salt room with a cup of tea which was a great, unexpected touch!

I had a facial with Lily and she was amazing! She was so friendly and gave me recommendations to help with my skincare routine. The front desk staff were also friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return to Waterside Day Spa & Salon.

Being that I live in Steamboat Springs year-round, I have choices about where to go for a manicure/pedicure spa experience. I’ve been to 90% of the “nail spas” in town and NOTHING compares to the customer experience at Waterside. Valerie is a Guru of relaxation and clientele service. Not to mention one of the most important aspects of the environment: cleanliness. This is a non-negotiable for me and I would rate Waterside with 10-stars for this alone.Every person that works there is intelligent, caring and kind. Thank you Waterside for serving our small town with love and passion for what you do.…Also, I love buying gifts here for friends and myself. The clothes, beauty products and services are fairly priced and fabulous.

I badly needed a haircut, and I wouldnt be skiing since it was going to snow today, so with a great leap of faith, I was lucky enough to be able to book an appointment. I have very difficult hair - long, thick, frizzy, coarse, tangly. I have frustrated many a stylist back home, so this was a brave move.When I entered, Ky greeted me warmly and professionally. She made me comfortable as I arrived early, and emphasized to let her know if there was anything I needed that she could provide. Nice. My stylist, Tracey entered the room in which I was relaxing right on schedule. I instantly loved her - no rush, low key, not to mention soft flowing waves of hair which caught my eye.Her shampoo was more of a scalp massage. In the chair, she professionally cut my masses of hair in sections, never pulling at tangles. Whatever product she used smoothed my hair to perfection. Meanwhile she was a delight to talk to. Instead of blow drying it like everyone else, she used a hood dryer to make soft waves cascade down. What a change from the fight to straighten it. All the time, she never rushed and did exactly what I asked. She also gave me tips about how to do the same at home. Amazing.Steamboat is a great place to ski, but today will stand out as one of my more memorable experiences, all for a very reasonable price.As an aside, I am a business owner. And to the couple who not only had the nerve to set up their mobile business in a high profile, long vehicle for the better part of the day right in front here, and then were rude enough to both write nasty reviews after it was suggested there were better parking places not only for the local business but for them and their dog - all I can say is learn some manners and understand that the world doesnt revolve around you. How dare you write a review about a business you never set foot in, but felt entitled to block visibility to.

Received a 90 minute massage from Eve. She was so kind and followed my lead on chatting during the massage. The massage was just what I needed. She focused on the areas I told her were bothering me and made sure I was feeling good and comfortable.

I have been part of the “locals membership” club since it began and generally love getting massages with my favorite masseuses. Current favorites are Lyndsey for a relaxing and therapeutic experience and Shama when more of a deep tissue massage is needed. Both provide fantastic massages and overall customer service. I recently started going to Lily for facials and seasonal dermaplane and my skin always feels and looks amazing afterwards and for weeks to follow. Lexi provides such a calm and delightful presence as a spa owner and an environment for even locals to escape and enjoy luxurious treatments from skilled staff.

I recently had a life changing medical diagnosis so I scheduled a lash lift to try to give myself some self care. The receptionist, Eva, and esthetician, Reilly, were incredibly helpful and calming. Along with the owner, they went above and beyond for me and I can’t thank them enough. ❤️

Emily is a magic maker! I came to her with a CHALLENGE! My hair was died bright purple and faded to a beautiful pink. BUT I had a friends wedding coming up. This girl brought my hair back to natural immediately while keeping it healthy! Others would have bleached and damaged or died it dark brown (this isn’t my first rodeo). She was great conversation and so kind to work extra hard and extra hours on my hair. Had I given her a month to correct it I couldn’t imagine it’s full effect but I gave her one session. I couldn’t believe the results!!

Relaxing! Salt room was chill and hopefully helped lungs! Facial was welcome - Reilly (sp?)rocked it!! Will definitely be back!!

Posting for my mom’s spa day. She went with my Aunt Sandy for the Spaaah for Two and she loved it. Her massage by Shauma was the best she’s ever had and considers herself a connoisseur of massages. And the facial was top notch and her face is glowing 11 hours later thanks to Riley. Too awesome to not include the spa on your next trip to Steamboat Springs.

Love Waterside Day Spa! The salt room is very relaxing and definitely worth the visit if you havent experienced it yet. My facial with at Waterside was so relaxing and was above my expectations. It was not only relaxing but I came out with glowing skin! If you are ever need of a baby gift or a gift for a friend, The spa also stocks the cutest gifts! Booking services online is also so easy.

Amber is amazing! First class service included a pick up and personal ride to the salon after a snowstorm when someone else in the house had the car keys I had never met Amber before and she went out of her way to make sure I had fabulous hair for an important event the next day. Amber was able to match my natural reddish color to color some grayish sparkles, something no other stylist has ever been able to do. I was told by previous stylists that I had to go darker and then had to wait for several days for it to tone down a bit and look more natural. Amber also gave an amazing cut adding a few layers that I can easily work with and feel confident with little effort when crunched for time. I felt great at the event. I love everything she did!! I will definitely return.

Went to Waterside Spa in Steamboat Springs today. The facial was ok but the lady that did my nails was shockingly rude and insulting and then left my nails totally jagged. I had to file my nails afterward! I should have walked out of there when she insulted me but of course, Im always too nice. Dont go there.

My sister and I went to Spaaah for Two today and it was phenomenal! We had Rilley (sp) and Shauma (sp) as our esthetician and massage therapist and OMG, perfection!! We finished off in the salt room. This spa package is a must do.,

I loved my experience here. The facial I had from Ky was such a lovely experience. I feel like my face is radiant, calm and full! The salt room was a delightful experience as well. Very calming. I also enjoyed a wonderful massage from Lindsey to end my spa day. All in all it was a lovely experience, very relaxing and very beneficial. When I’m back in Steamboat I will make sure to schedule time here again.

I work down the street at Steamboat Social Club and only have one car - it happens to be a 2022 F350 with a 2021 slide-in camper in the bed - very new/great condition. My wife and dog were waiting in the truck for me and an employee of Waterside came out to lecture her - treating her like a homeless person and demanding that we moved our truck to the transit center. Its not even a long bed pick-up. It can literally fit in any normal parking spot.Overall - terrible vibes from the employee. I was actually considering getting a massage at Watersidetomorrow but after this interaction I will be avoiding this establishment at all costs. Sucks that elitist Karens are ruining the chill Steamboat vibe.Shame on them.

I’ve been going to Waterside for a few years - hair color, styling and cuts with Tracey and manicures and pedicures with Valerie. I’m always pleased with their work! I enjoy the atmosphere and positive energy of the salon and highly recommend that you give them a try if you’ve never been there! Five Stars for sure!!!

Love my two girls I go see for waxing. They have availability most of the time and are very attentive. The salt room is a great place to relax before your appointment starts!

Happy with Highlights and haircut from Tracey, and Reiki and full hour massage with Holly. Tried the Salt Room for 15 mins while I was waiting and it was very relaxing if you have it to yourself or try with a close friend. Will go again.

I never thought Id be someone to post a 1 star review thats not relevant to the actual business, but I had a really negative experience with someone who works at the spa.My husband and I work full-time remote jobs on the road while traveling in our truck camper and have been in Steamboat for almost 2 weeks. In these 2 weeks, we have been spending money in the town, supporting local businesses, following parking regulations, not doing any illegal overnight parking, and overall being respectful to the town and locals. My husband was working from the Steamboat Social Club this morning where he bought a monthly membership, and so we parked as close to it as we could, which happened to be on the street in front of Waterside Day Spa. We were parked there for a little less than 3 hours (1050am-140pm) which is within the posted time limit (3 hours). There were other cars parked there well before we got there. I was working from the camper and we were out of the way of the road.At the 3 hour mark, I got into the truck to run errands, and some lady came out of the Waterside spa signaling me to roll down my window. She immediately proceeds to lecture me about how while were just here to have fun, shes trying to trying to run a business and that weve been parked here for a while, and her that clients have nowhere to park. She repeatedly mentioned that I should just leave and that theres a perfect location for you - the city transit center. She kept stressing that we shouldnt park there and that we should go to the transit center instead.She treated me like garbage that didnt belong on her street.I was so taken aback by her rude-ness and what she was saying that I couldnt think of anything but to just say okay. There were plenty of other spaces on that street and around the corner for her clients to park. We werent there for a long time - we were there within the posted time limit and the cars in front and behind us had both been there well before we even arrived. The transit center she so graciously recommended to us was a 20 minute walk away from the Social Club where my husband was working from. There were NO signs on that whole street (or in fact, anywhere in town) that mentioned anything about campers not being allowed.The fact of the matter is - she was discriminating against me because of our truck camper, when in fact, we did absolutely nothing wrong and were well within our rights to park where we did. Our truck camper is modern and nice, is a normal length of a short-bed pick up truck, fits into a normal parking spot, doesnt look like a dump, we werent breaking any laws, and yet she decided to get on her high horse and lecture at me to leave. For someone who works at a spa with the philosophy of Beauty shines from within. When we take care of our body, the mind and soul benefit as well which allows inner beauty to shine., she really needs to take her own advice.

I love coming to Waterside spa for massages! Its a very relaxing experience and the monthly membership is great for locals.

Amber at waterside Day Spa is an absolute magician with hair. She gives a great cut and is also fantastic with color. If she ever moves, I’m going to have to follow her. Highly recommended!

Carrie made my very first experience with therapeutic massage such a memorable one. She truly cares about helping and healing the individual, and is passionate about her work. Just close your eyes, relax, and breathe deeply with a big exhale (I heard that repeatedly throughout the session!). Then Carrie’s 30 years of experience become apparent as she takes your soul away to a blissful place of tranquility. I highly recommend Waterside and their staff!

Went in for a pre wedding massage. My therapist from the start was frantic and not personable in anyway. Upon starting the massage she immediately got angry with me because my jewelry did not come off. From there the massage was the most unpleasant massage I have ever had. She was erratic and angry in her movements. Was just crazy angry rubbing not massage technique at all. I debated getting off the table several time in our 90 min session. I ended up leaving with more pain than when I came in from her erratic and aggressive movements. ( When I say aggressive, I do not mean deep work. I appreciate deep work and this was not that.)I left in such a fluster because I was completely violated by the aggressive nature of her massage. I reached out to waterside day spa to submit payment and informed them there was an issue. They never responded to my concern.So very disappointed in both therapist and customer service.

This is a wonderful little hidden gem that I am so glad I found. I have had facials by a few celebrity facialists and my facial here was better than those. I was paired with Lily for the anti-aging facial and she was spectacular. She went above and beyond my expectations, and took care to address all of my concerns (from the south and the dry air was making my skin hurt). The added bonus is she includes your neck, which so many places no longer do or offer. That in itself will keep me coming back when I visit. The spa itself is clean and decorated quite lovely, and everyone was very kind. Definately worth stopping by.

I had scheduled to get my browns and lashes done, I live a half hour away and had to take time of work to get this done. I arrived on time and sat there in the waiting room for an hour, the person never showed up to do my eyes, I was not even offered to reschedule. I was quite upset because it was a wasted day for me and I was not accommodated for at all. It is so frustrating that this spa charges me 50% if I dont show up to my appointment but if staff does not show up I am not even offered a reschedule date for my appointment.

This was my first time going to Waterside Day Spa. The place was beautiful and everyone working was very lovely. I came in for a cut and color, my hair needed some TLC. The color experience was fine, I knew my home dye jobs would be a pain in the butt to correct. Before we started I showed my hairstylist the cut I wanted and referenced the type of color I was hoping to get. I did not get either. I was prepared to go a different route with the color, but got highlights instead (I asked for an ombre) the cut I asked for was layered and although she did texture the ends, there are no layers in my hair. I thought my stylist was very nice and really great about telling me up front this (the color correction) would be a challenge but at over $200 for the visit I was hoping to leave with at least the haircut I wanted. I cannot afford to get my hair professionally done on a regular basis, so this was meant to be a treat. Im sure Ill learn to like what I was given, in time, it just bums me out.

Lily gave me the facial of all facials. She massages every product in. Incredible experience. If I lived here, she would be seeing me once a week or more! 11 out of 10!

This was my first time with an all day spa package. I HIGHLY recommend it. If I had to choose my favorite, it would be a hard choice between the massage and the facial. The salt room was relaxing and an absolutely unique experience. I felt a little rushed with my nails and hair but otherwise, I really loved the experience. All of the staff were very friendly, attentive and professional. I will definitely be back next time we visit steamboat!

Everyone here is so so friendly! It was amazing. Its intimidating to find a new place to get your hair done. Kim did an incredible job on my hair and was so personable. Im heartbroken that shes moving right after I found her.Kristin gave me a facial and it was absolute perfection. She is great and the facial was the best thing that Ive done in a really long time. Will definitely be back for more of that. And more services, they offer so much!

Our experience at Waterside was fantastic! It started with the receptionist fitting myself, my mother, and my sister in on short notice. I had an amazing facial, which was so relaxing, and left my skin feeling amazing! My esthetician, Kristin, was perfect and gave me some great advice on my skin. My sister and mother also RAVED about their massages! It is a relaxing, warm environment (especially the robes). Skip all other spas in Steamboat Springs and head to Waterside!

Aside from the spa being lovely, the staff was so welcoming and kind. My facial with Kristin was the best facial I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail and calming presence made for a delightful experience. Side note: Ask for the hot stone scalp massage. You won’t regret it!

Buffy gave me the most incredible massage. She released muscles that have been scrunched up forever. The entire experience is incredible from start to finish. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. The salt room is amazing! I had never been in one before but I couls feel a difference after just one session. Highly recommend if you want a personalized, warm and welcoming spa experience to feel totally rejuvenated.

I went to Waterside Spa yesterday to get a haircut and color with Emily. She was the sweetest hair stylist I have ever had. She asks for my input and suggestions throughout me getting my hair done. She always explained the steps she was taking. She did EXACTLY what I wanted. I am new to Steamboat so I explained I was nervous to find a new hair dresser. I was thrilled to find Emily! I will always go back to her! Thank you so much!

Shayna is the best! She fixed my hair after a terrible mishap with another hairdresser. She went above and beyond to fix it the day before Christmas. She has since been the only person to touch my hair. She also has done a few of my facials and I couldnt say anything but positive things about her.

Had a 90 min prenatal massage with Barbara ($165 rate). Was one of the best massages I have ever had (and I’ve had 15+). The massage room was comfortable and quiet. Barbara was so concerned with my comfort and had great hands. I almost fell asleep at one point. Wonderful experience and good value compared to what the surrounding hotel spas charge for a 90 min ($200+)

I highly recommend Waterside. I went for my birthday with my best friend. All of the staff were extremely kind & professional. Barbara, our massage therapist was absolutely exceptional, she really cared about what areas to focus on and how to provide the most peaceful experience. I will be recommending Barbara & Waterside to everyone!

My daughters and I planned our annual girls weekend in Steamboat and called to make massage appointments. The receptionist at first said they could not do 3 at the same time but then found a place she said she could give us all a 60 min appt together. I called the day before the appts to ask a question and a different receptionist told me we were not on the schedule....she put me on hold and came back and said if we could come at a different time than previously scheduled she could make it work. One of us would be 30 min off from the others but she said “don’t worry, I’ll take care of you. I’ll get you in a robe and let you use our salt room while you are waiting”. I was thankful that our looked forward to massages would not have to be cancelled and we rearranged our schedule to accommodate the new appointments.When we got there the salon was very clean and it was a nice atmosphere. The receptionist working was super friendly and the massage therapists took my daughters back to their massages. I waited a bit and then asked about the salt room and the receptionist told me someone else was using it. So she handed me a magazine and I waited until my appointment time. While I was waiting another client came in for her appt and was told she wasn’t on the books at all. She was nice, but seemed a bit flustered as she left.In the end our massages were great, they did work us in to a very busy schedule. I would suggest that you call and confirm your appointment as it seems they have trouble with their method of scheduling and following through.

Im still dreaming of dreaming about my facial from early February! Gretchen customized my facial to meet my specific skin care needs. It was such a luxurious experience and my face looked fresh and noticeably younger! Gretchen and the other staff were so nice and personable. Waterside is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to get pampered!!

I’ve now had low lights and high lights and a cut done by Emily twice and I could not be more pleased. I asked her to help me with color that would look natural growing in because I can’t afford to go to the salon as often I wish anymore with a little one to support, and she nailed it. Emily is timely, sweet and a total professional. It makes me want to enjoy more services when I can.

Shayna fixed my hair. Thank you. I also got charged for a color of grays. My appointment was as Mon. I I cancelled on Sunday. First time! Owner said they never got the cancellation. I would think that they would understand and not charge me. I spent a bit of money on this place from buying Christmas presents. I dont appreciate that they didnt believe me when I said I did cancel. So I dont recommend going there. So sad this happened!

I love my haircut and color for literally the first time in years. Corrine really did a beautiful job with my weird wavy hair. After the cut there was something not quite right for how my curls work, and Corrine graciously had me come back for a few fix up snips. Im so appreciative! I feel like myself again.

I definitely did not like there hair dryer! ItTotally burnt my neck and head.I had to jump out of the chair and call forThe girl!!I will get my hair cut there againBut having my hair colored again I don’t think so!

I got a haircut and balayage done by Emily and I am extremely happy! She was easy to talk to and listened to what I wanted done. My hair is so soft and beautiful and I highly recommend her and Waterside.

Such a magical massage experinvce once I was there it was great! However the receptionist seemed like she couldnt get it together. Never have been so confused trying to book a very simple massage. Had two options with 2 different times picked one then twice she got it wrong...it aint that hard

I love this spa!! I am a frequent spa enthusiast but the best facials of my life were here, from Gretchen. She is so knowledgeable and uses the best in products on your skin. Sara gave me an unparalleled massage. And I could only wish Heather could do my nails regularly; but I live in Florida.

My family and I enjoyed two pedicures and one 90 minute signature massage. All services were fantastic! The staff were kind and skilled. The salt room is a relaxing place to enjoy a hot tea post massage.

Overall good experience but I felt like my massage had a lot of dead time. I would have preferred more focus on the areas I listed. Got very stiff just sitting in salt room after. Wouldve preferred facial over sugar scrub.

The most relaxing and restorative facial Ive ever had. The staff was professional and welcoming, and you can tell they know what they are doing. The rooms are beautiful and have a great atmosphere. I have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely go back.

Emily is the BEST colorist I have ever known. Seriously. She colored my hair for two years before moving to steamboat. Needless to say I don’t trust anyone else with my color so will be driving to Steamboat to get my hair colored. She is that good.

My Pick-Me-Up facial with Kristin was a life changer!!!! Please do yourself a favor and get yourself here during your Steamboat stay. An incredibly relaxing/rejuvenating experience with an absolute pro. Can’t recommend highly enough!

I have had several facials with Kristin and haircuts with Corinne... both of these ladies are amazing and really know their stuff. Kristin is a facial magician and total sweetheart. Seeing her is a total treat!!!

I had the absolute best massage and foot reflexology here. The therapist was the best. Even gave me tips as to how to stretch my foot better for the planter fascia pain. Really worked!

You should have provided unemployment when asked. Im sorry but ur an owner take the rains of ur own company because u shouldnt be advised on things like this. And my girls r great. Smart and beautiful. And almost lost there insurance for ur selfish actions or lack there of..U dont deserve to own ur own business if thats how u choose to run it. Harsh and unfair because I couldnt work because my daughters weight loss had become an issue and my time was needed elsewhere. You punished me for that by not providing information u are required to provide.and u threatened to ruin my name in the small spa community of steamboat.

My husband and I did a Salt Room session. Its very relaxing and I felt great when we left. The staff is awesome as well! Very nice and clean.

Lily is the best aesthetician in steamboat, if you’re new to waxing I highly recommend going to lily.

Been here before, I really like this spa. This visit I decided to try something new, the Lash Tint & Lift. Unfortunately I cant see any difference, so I wouldnt recommend it...but Ill come back for other services.

My daughter had a full color and pregnancy massage. Both services were not as advertised. Very disappointed. When I called the person that answered didn’t have much to say.

Relaxing spot for a facial. Enjoyed the spring clean deal. Staff was chatty and kind. A bit delayed on start time, but I was there to relax so not a problem.

Did some yoga in the salt room and it was amazing. Recently had some breathing problems due to pneumonia, the therapy was quite helpful!
