Do yourself a favor and splurge on a cabana or daybed at one of the Mandalay Bay pools, lazy river or beach. It’s pricey but ITS SHADE! If you don’t have a reservation, then good luck finding shade. You can get out there early and find a place with shade, but as the sun moves across the sky, your shade will turn into a blazing hot oven. We were there at the beginning or July so we knew what to expect. The cabana that we reserved was perfect for our family of 4. We had staff that checked on us often. We had a mini fridge with waters and sodas that were included. Towels and floats for the lazy river were already there and are included. We had 3 lounge chairs with umbrellas and obviously the cabana with some chairs, a table, a couch, a ceiling fan and a television. It was luxury at its best, especially in the heat. We were able to charge drinks and food to our room and never had a problem finding Matt or Liz. They took great care of us and were very nice. Jacques was the man! He got things setup in our cabana by laying our towels, making sure our umbrella was positioned to give us optimal shade, and was so nice. The next day, we had a day bed and once again, Jacques was on it. He put towels on our bed and made sure we were comfortable and all while being in the best mood. Overall, the pool at MB is awesome but your experience will be enhanced if you have a cabana or daybed with shade.
The experience we had today was not fully satisfied because we couldnt find Juice at the store, only at the Bar and it was way too overpriced! Our kids was a little below the 48 inches and they didnt allow me to take them to the wave pool and made me go to another pool so they can swim ! It wasnt too bad of an experience the place just needs a little more work !
Very enjoyable time with lots to do! Plenty of free lounge chairs to sit in. Towels are at front of entrance. There is a lazy river, wave pool, kiddie pool, pool, and spa. All was very fun to get in. Only complaint was the water was freezing But somewhat refreshing at the hottest point of the day. And the other thing was the fact that in the lazy river tubes are not complementary you have to go buy them at the store which is fine but they were $30 per tube. Speaking of the store the prices were a tad high but plenty of inventory and the staff were friendly. They have lots of life guards with lots of rules then again it makes since as you never know what will happen. The beach bar is nice to eat at whether you order and go lounge or sit down. Everything is very clean and fun. Overall pretty good pool area or I guess beach!
Absolutely too notch service. Made us feel like VIPs. Jamie was our waitress & she was very attentive & upbeat! She took great care of us.Carlos personally made sure we were well taken care of as well.We will definitely come back again & again when we stay at Mandalay!
Carlos was absolutely amazing in setting up my boyfriend and I this past weekend! We spent 5 hours enjoying amazing drinks, an amazing large hot tub and made some awesome friends!! We had a Chicago connection and we really had a blast!! I highly recommend for the 21+ crowd.
I am bewildered that Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino here in Las Vegas has only a three-star overall rating. Ive been to this hotel at least a dozen and more times and have never had any issues with my rooms quality, the hotels physical state or appearance, and the employees service. While this MGM-owned hotel isnt quite up there with Encore, Wynn, or even Caesars Palace, its still a solid four-star hotel and experience. On this particular stay, Ive received excellent service from the front desk staff to the room attendants and everyone in between. My room was immaculate, the hotel in general, fastidious, and the hotel followed pandemic regulations. I felt both comfortable and safe throughout my brief stay here. For anyone rating this hotel less than 3 or 4 stars, I cant imagine what they are displeased with?I hold a Caesars Rewards players card, and so I dont come to MGM hotels often. I wish the MGM Players club card were competitive with Caesars Rewards program so I could stay at Mandalay Bay more often and enjoy the less crowded northern end of The Strip. I especially enjoy the pools and beach club at Mandalay Bay during the summer months in Las Vegas.REVIEW AT A GLANCERECOMMENDED: GoodSERVICE: GoodPRICE: $$COVID: Practices pandemic regulations.PARKING: ConvenientREASON/INTENT: Weekend stay
If youre already staying at Mandalay Bay... check out the Mandalay Bay Beach. Youre probably already paying the resort fee.... so check out the pools here:Life Guards everywhere...1. Check out the wave pool. Its fun.. and feels totally safe.2. Lazy river is fun too.. just let the river take you around and around.3. Next to the wave pool is a kiddie pool.4. Plenty of lounge chairs to kick back.5. Donut floatie is about expensive at $30+6. There is a food court near the entrance as you walk into the7. You can get a Cabana starting from JUST $650!!! Not sure why its so expensive.. but I know it can fit like 10 people.Oh yea.. the water in the lazy river is cold. The water in the wave pool and kiddie pool is even COLDER. But.. you get used to it because its so hot outside. Bring some sunscreen!!
Mandalay Bay Beach is amazing. Great for all ages, there was a very shallow toddler area. The wave pool was fun. The Lazy Tiver was beautiful and relaxing. They have a free water station so you can refill your water bottles. If you want to buy water ifs $8.00 for one bottle of water. I would recommend this, we had a blast.
The beach and surrounding pools are great. On a weekend and busy day, make sure to get in before 1030-11 to get a seat. We usually got in between 8-9 and had no issues finding a prime location, but many people spent 30 minutes or More trying to find a spot around the resort. The best spots, in my opinion, are by the waterfall in the lazy river. You can even move a chair under the cave and lay there the whole day. Make sure to find something in the shade and/or put on a lot of sunscreen. It’s hot! Also, bring your own tube from home for the lazy river. They will blow them up for you for free at the shop! To rent a tube is very expensive or you have to rent a cabana for a day (they come with a select number of tubes). Best cabanas from what I saw are on the lazy river.
The Mandalay Bay beach is huge and beautiful to stay at and likely the only beach resort in Las Vegas! Unless you can sit in the sun all day I recomend reserving umbrellas, chairs or a cabana which are pretty pricey but worth every penny. We booked a Cabanna 3 months in advance of our stay for $325 and it was half the price of what it would cost to book on the day so worth every penny if you arrive early and leave later in the afternoon. The fridge was conatntly stocked with ice, soft drinlks and water, and the staff very attentive, providing, sun cream, a phone charger and extra rubber rings for my children, we had the best day!
MGM Grand has a better pool complex. The Mandalay Beach is nice enough. Not possible to get shade at the beach unless you pay for an umbrella and chair; the free ones are plentiful but in full sun. Wave pool is ok. Lifeguards will not let you stand in the water Unless you go deeper than waste deep. Not outside drinks allowed but the security doesn’t check super hard. The different pools and lazy river are nice. Overall pool is great but seats, food and drink are pricey.
Crowded, soooo crowded. And you cant find any shade so you get to pay $75 / item, like an umbrella, comfortable beach chair, or swing for the $350+ cabana. You know, things youd expect to have at a premium resort included with the $40 resort feeNot a good value. Headed to Cabo next time, or Ill research hotels better next time. Never coming back.
Superb place to chill in Las Vegas. In my opinion one of the best pools Las Vegas has to offer! You can rent daybeds/reserved seats or cabanas, wich booked upfront on the mlife website can be good priced!Lovely place. The host of the cabanas is awesome, very good service and friendly!Lazy river is a cool feature too.
Best place to enjoy summer days in Vegas, and by far the best toptional pool experience in the entire country.
Went for a concert at night. everything was great...only issue was people arent ADA friendly...which isnt the venues fault... its just that there should be an area that makes it easier for some if us to sit with our feet in the water too and people didnt want to give up a little space for you to enjoy. so, i had to go to the very end away from the stage and stand in the water... or pay for a cabana not ADA friendly at all
Very well maintained and monitored with MANY lifeguards. Clean, lots of towels. You should arrive early for best chairs as is can get very busy in the afternoons, especially on weekends. Water is very comfortable and cooling with air temps 109° today. Bring your own float for the lazy river so you dont have to pay $25 for a rental float. They will inflate it for you.
We make a point to stay here at least once a summer to enjoy the pools and lazy river. Its cheaper if you bring your own tube, theres a place to inflate them. The wave pool has a height restriction if your traveling with kids. Bring your sunscreen as the pools are in pretty direct sunlight majority of the day.
This place is incretable. There is a big kids area on the side of the wave pool. In case you were wondering, i called the hotel and was told that there was NO KIDS area. However they were wrong. There is a kids area, they always have at least 2 lifeguards watching the kids area at all times. The drinks and food are pricey but not obnoxiously so. 20oz margarita will set you back around $17. Food is around the same, nachos and hotdog with fries will be around $25. My biggest problem with this place is the lack of baby changing stations. There is a restroom right by the kids pool, but it doesnt have a changing station, the ONLY restroom with a baby changing station we could find is all the way on the other side of the facility by the bikini bar, and it has 1 changing station inside of a stall. So be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for a diaper change. Unless they add more. Hey MGM managment how about you install more baby changing stations? Like a couple in the bathroom thats actually BY the kids pool? Maybe make it like $5 per use kid of thing. Im sure youll make a ton of $ and ease the nerves of countless kids and their parents.
Better than expected! We were worried it would be lame on a Monday, but service was top notch and there was enough people to make it fun but not overcrowded.
The big wave pool is amazing and it even has a shallow area for kids/babes. However its missing shade and the only way to really get any is to buy a Cabana so if youre going with kids or a group I would recommend getting one for shelter so you can enjoy the pool area longer. There are other quieter pools a lazy river and a hot tub located on the perimeter and the lush vegetation makes you forget youre in the middle of a desert.
Nice place but Nevada requires the wearing of masks even while outside at the pool. Mandalay Bay enforces this like Nazis! They keep making announcements the only exceptions to wearing a mask are while in the pool, walking directly to or from the pool, while eating, drinking or smoking. There are some great rules. Become an alcoholic and chain smoker and youre all good for no mask. Just cant make sense of any of this.
The Mandalay Beach was great! We really enjoyed our time in the Lazy River and the Wave Pool. We played like we were children lol. I loved that there was sand, it really mad eme feel like I was at the beach. The drinks from the bar were good. We really enjoyed our time.I would suggest that you bring your own floats from home. They have some for purchase but they are $25 a piece and are the cheap $4 floats you can buy from Walmart. Unless u just want to pay for the convenience.*A suggestion for the property would be to purchase better quality floats like are used at water parks and to rent them. It would save a lot of plastic waste in the environment from the other cheap floats that everyone is just throwing away.
Wife and I had a really great time at the Moorea Beach Club from 11-1, almost all couples enjoying the atmosphere as it was intended. By 3pm there were a lot of single dudes lined up in the pool seemingly looking for a free show so we decided to call it a day. Service was great all day. Would suggest getting there early unless you dont mind single dudes staring.
Always an amazing experience at this hotel. We dont gamble. We enjoy the ambience! The rooms are immaculate and the entire facility is clean and well-maintained. We love to sit out front and people watch. We spent a day at the pool and rented a cabana....worth every penny! Manager Justin Jones did an exceptional job helping us inside with recommendations. The waitress outside was amazing and it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay here again!
Hands down one of the dopest spots to hang out all day by the pool! This place has a several pools throughout the facility, including: a lazy river, an aquatic life size chess board, a wave pool and a “toptional” isolated pool for those free birds lol. There are several bars with cheerful and accommodating staff members. The facility is family friendly as well. Shoutout to Craig and Hopu with the pool team for being cool and informative. Thanks for an memorable day!
When booking a cabana it’s limited on number of people which is amazing unless you go when one of the “hosts” let their friends bring 22 people into the one 12 person cabana they rented. Made the pool that was limited to the those cabanas very crowded. The security and waitress weee all awesome.
Let me start off by praising the staff at the Moorea Beach Club, Sheldon and Destaney were great, we had a pavilion and they were extremely attentive. It was a great atmosphere and everyone was friendly. My wife keep her top on but I felt comfortable enough to take my top off and no one was judging me and I got rid my farmers tan a little. Extremely clean friendly and welcoming it was a great way for us to spend a Thursday on our 20th anniversary trip. We will be coming back the next time we are in Vegas. We were originally going to do a grand sun villa but thanks to the advice of Sheldon we book a pavilion and had a great time. I like to post pictures with my review but give the area and rules which we followed the only pictures I have are in my brain and since science hasnt figured out a way to retrieve them yet you will all have to wait. I will leave with this final note to all the teenager boys staying at Mandalay Bay with a pool view dont forget to pack your binoculars.
I loved going to the pool. It was so amazingly fun to have so many different types of pools for my family. A night there is cheaper than a day at the local water park. The pool opens at 9AM and closes at 5:50PM. Bring your own inner-tubes for the lazy river or pay $30 at the local gift shop for one.The wave pool was a bit of a let down since we could not play in the breaking waves. It was heavily monitored and didnt feel as exciting to ride them into the shallows. There is a standard pool that is well heated for relaxing and drinking some beverages. But I could imagine it getting busy. For large parties for the day, get a cabana and split the cost. You will be glad for the location, towels and service.
The wonderful thing about this pool is that you don’t have to be a guest to stay at this pool. You can purchase a day pass or a lounge chair and get into the pool easily. However be prepared for the most randomly inconsistent rules. We were allowed to bring our GoPro into the lazy river but not the wave pool, however they are not worried about you bringing in things like your sunglasses or hat into the wave pool. You are not allowed to stand in the shallow end of the pool. You must enter in all the way. You are allowed to bring in water and Starbucks drinks but not any other outside food. If you are coming here for the wave pool it gives off one miniature wave every 3 minutes or so, it is not very fun especially since you can’t stand where the waves actually crash or bring in any floaties to the wave pool. The lazy river is quite short but very fun and rather fast. Was the highlight of the pool day for us.
A fantastic, fun, and positive hotel to stay! Whether you are single, a couple, you are married, retired, etc., this hotel can provide all of your needs. The rooms were clean, spacious, and I had a nice view of The Strip, inside my hotel room. I would recommend to others, and I would stay at this hotel, again. Also, I received great customer service! Many of the staff members were courteous, helpful, and respectful...
This is one of my favorite pools to go when Im in Vegas. Its a European concept, so that means its top optional. you cant take pictures when youre there, the food and drinks are amazing.
Big area. Very clean. But for a Vegas resort, way too many rules and regulations. Staff needs to lighten up. Had a speaker in my bag and couldn’t come in with it, had to walk all the way back to my room while elevators weren’t working and staff was unwilling to hear me out. Then they wouldn’t accept room charge at the grill without ID, even though I was logged into the app to prove my room number (something the front desk accepted when asking for more keys). Would’ve required me to walk back AGAIN to my room…..so I stayed starved. Tried to sit at the shallow part of the wave pool, nope can’t do that either. What???? For such a beautiful area, I’m really disappointed in the staff. Was most excited to experience the pool, but now I’m not sure I will be back.
Terrible hotel planning. Over crowed and over priced. Your so called resort fee gets you no perks. They over sell entrance passes. The Wave pool is slow and only produces one wave every 5 min or so.This is a money grab. There are much better locations to bring a family.
I know this is a resort pool, but I was still expecting a nicer experience. Everything is so packed together its hard to enjoy your time. Also felt a bit dirty in general. Definitely did not have a comfortable afternoon. Though Im sure there were other areas to go if youre willing to spend $400 on the day. I will say the drink service was well done!
Pretty terrible experience overall. Loud country/rock music at 10 am by the pool. The music is loud enough that my noise canceling headphones don’t block it out fully. Pool areas overall are not bad but this is definitely not a place to relax or read. The pool is kid friendly so be prepared to see her hear kids all around.
Absolutely love this place. People are great. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have been more than once. I would highly recommend going. Worth the price for the experience you get.
Love it. This pool has everything. It has elegant cabanas, fun for children, lots of wheelchair accessible areas, bars, sand, lazy river, adult only area, and a topless section. There are special events on the stage by the wave pool and the water isnt hot. On a regular basis, the water is clear with no trash in the pool. As a local, it is one of the best pools. You dont even need to leave for food because it is all right there. If you forgot your inner tubes, its there and you can have it filled up. Forget sunscreen? It is sold right there with water shoes, water, and towels and bathing suits of all sizes.
For a hotel pool, this is pretty epic. The beach is HUGE. Even as big as it were, it was full. I came on a Sunday in June and we were bumping into people inside the wave pool and there was hardly any empty spots. The good thing was they had plenty of lifeguards watching over the masses and keep them in check somewhat. The waves were fun and I love that the water is cool. Its so hot in Vegas that sometimes, even the water is warm under the unrelenting summer sun, especially when its chock full of warm bodies. They must be pumping in cold water continuously to keep it that refreshing. The lazy river was short and very crowded. We didnt want to shell out for the tubes but next time, Ill consider bringing my own tube. The water was not as clean or cool as in the wave pool though. It was pretty cloudy and warm.My friend walked on the sand and burnt his feet so keep those sandals on and bring your own tube if you want to do the lazy river.
Service was outstanding! Monica, Paulina and Pedro made sure we had everything we needed. The wave pool was kinda disappointing though. Our child couldnt go in it and it wasnt very wavey. There was only one wave every so often. But the lazy river was good. Overall, still 5 stars.
The beach wave pool is awesome. We rented a bungalow the service was impeccable. They are very personable and attentive right from the start helping us book reservations for dinner even right from the pool. The gentleman in the blue shirts even checked on us several times and our waitress was great. It was nice to have the tubes already available for our kids. I recommend getting the jello shots and the taquito trio. The food came out pretty quick. And they kept the alcohol flowing at a nice pace. We had a great time.
We loved our room at Mandalay Bay! Our first day there was great! The second day a HUGE group came in and they were very noisy and the hotel was packed. They closed the wave pool, which has the sand beach, for the group that was attending a convention. The whole reason for our stay was to go to that pool. I was very disappointed. When they let us back in to the pool on the third day we were there we found feces all over the wave pool! It was absolutely disgusting!!!!Loved the room….very disappointed by the pool situation!!!
I can’t leave a review for the hotel so I have to leave one here. The service is at best 2.5 stars the rooms are not cleaned yup to standard. My shower had mold in it. I called the front desk only to be told they were booked and I could not be moved. I asked to speak a manager was transferred into oblivion. I finally spoke to o and she moved me to another room. The phone did not work the next morning I spoke to another manager I was told someone would fix it at 8 a.m. I came hack yo the room at 11 and had to change rooms. This time the tube facet was not working properly and guess what changing roomed again. The front desk agents Will ignore you and act at if you don’t exist. This is what happened when I went down and attempted to speak to Julian. To top this all off this was my Birthday trip.
Enjoyed the day but not worth it. Wave pool has no waives. Lazy river nice but misleading on size. Not worth the money, if hotel guest and free worth it. I could have stayed at my own hotel. Waitress slow, the best part was both pool attendant ( manny and the early moring guy wish i got his name)!! They were awesome, even noticed when i needed waitress and keep ice full on water i never drank and kept moving umbrella wherever i needed it!
We definitely enjoyed our time at Mandalay Bay Beach, but here are some tips and things you may find helpful before you go.I reserved a beach Gazebo online three days prior to my stay for $325 (weekday price). It looks like prices vary by date. Nevertheless, I checked back online the next day and the Gazebo now showed at $250. I immediately called, and was told they would honor the $250 price which they did. I saw a credit on my bank account after my stay. You get to pick your Gazebo once you arrive on site, not any earlier. #17 was on the end and already taken so I picked #18. Im glad I chose #18 because if youre on the end, your right next to the walkway so there are people constantly walking by. There is a cabana staff that addresses any issues with the Gazebo, gets fresh towels, restocks complimentary iced water, and empties trash. There is also a wait staff that gets your food and drinks. The one issue I had was the cabana staff asked me around 1PM to sign off the bill which included providing the tip. I asked if I had to do it now considering we had an entire day left and she said yes. Once I signed off on the form, and gave a tip, I rarely saw the cabana staff. I did not like that, and felt pressured to tip off two hours of being there. On the other hand, the wait staff came around consistently, and asked for last call at 5PM when the pool closed at 6PM. They were a little slow with getting out the final bill but we had nowhere to be. I would definitely recommend getting a Gazebo to give you some relief from the sun. I saw two or three chairs by the waterfall in the lazy river that were near a tree that offered a bit of shade, but otherwise, youre baking in the sun. There were plenty of free chairs so there was no rush that day to get there by a certain time. Back to the lazy river, what a mess. Most did not use a tube. Thankfully, the Gazebo included two tubes in the price. So, you cant control the flow of the river so I was constantly looking down to make sure I didnt kick anyone in the head. The beach waves were fun. Wear shoes all the way to the lifeguard stand, and leave them there. The sand and pavement is ridiculously hot. No one was wearing masks outside as its not required. All in all it was a good experience.
It was so much fun!!! They open at 8AM and close at 7PM. Be sure to be in line at 7:30 so youll get a lounge chair for free. And, it fills up really fast. The gray chairs are free but the cabanas, the red chairs, and chairs with a gold stripe are for rent. But you have to make a reservation if you want to rent the cabana. Its kid friendly and life guards are all over the place. If you want to go to the lazy river either bring your own inner tube or go with out or you can buy the tube for $25. Its worth it. So much fun. Dont forget your room key because you need it to get in the pool. And, most important your sunscreen...Have fun!!!
Took my family here, and I expected so much better. Towels are provided, and there are limited free chairs. Its free to get in if staying at Mandalay or Delano (need a keycard). Its fairly clean; but, can become overcrowded. Theres food, chair & umbrella rentals, and tube rentals (tubes arent needed since the guards decided people can walk around the river). Some staff are nice; however, some like making their own rules specifically the lifeguards and entrance staff.Lifeguards in the wave pool are uptight and wont allow quick pics or walking around the rim. Nope. All patrons must stay beyond the blue line (what they call the artificial reef). Body surfing is allowed; however, patrons must get up within 0.000001 seconds or be yelled at. There is zero fun allowed in the wave pool; all must be serious. No floaties, too. Now, the lazy river is totally different. When we stayed, the head lifeguard allowed a group of boys to toss around a hard ball. I watched this ball smack someone in the face and hit other people. No apologies, and they continued throwing it over the island, too. But its all good since the head guard said so....The other pools were more relaxed; but, the damage was already done, and we were over being in the pool.As for the entrance staff: theres a sign saying every adult must have a keycard. My husband trudged back to our room to get the second card. We came back, and the staff said one wouldve sufficed. Then why didnt you say that while we were 3 feet away?Looking for a fun, relaxing pool experience? Go elsewhere.
I booked a cabana at the Delano pool and was very disappointed. First upon arrival we found that the cabana was filthy. There was juice spilled everywhere from the day before that was dried and sticky. The towels that were left on the lounge chairs were dirty and used. The table had sand all over it. They attempted to clean it up because they saw how dirty it was but nothing was done. Than I don’t know if our server called out sick or not because we were told 3 different names of our server who never showed. Finally after an hour of us being there one of the other servers decided to be nice and try to help us out even though she was clearly handling too many people already. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and received a plain double cheeseburger that took 45 minutes. When I asked the manager he said “oh well the burger is cheaper anyway.” At this time we decided it was better for us to just walk to the bar and get our own drinks. No aspect of their $1000 cabana experience was anywhere near luxury. They don’t care about your experience just getting your money.
Really nice. Very crowded! Not well regulated - meaning lifeguards dont enforce the rules of the lazy river which can make it uncomfortable. LOTS of screaming children. Should have bands or DJ in the stage. Could easily be a 5 or better.
We come here two times a year and love how great the staff is! Everyone cares about the customers experience. Shout out to Joe the bartender! He always makes us feel welcome and special. Great at his job!
Went in March with 2 kids age 12 and 10. Was perfect at that time. Not busy. Amazing wave pool and lazybriver was more fun than we anticipated. My wife who doesnt swim and diesnt like water also loved it. Did not have to buy cabanas or seating at that time because was jot busy and honestly they seen like a rip off. We were guests in the hotel so pool was free. Wouldnt make sense to stay off site and pay for the pool asbi hear it is expensive but then again so is everything in vegas. They do have showers sovyou wash off all sand before leaving.
Want a great pool without the kids? This is the place. Great music thats not overwhelming in volume, perfect drinks, beautiful servers.
Our kick-off party for our eXp Realty National Convention was held here. Its MUCH bigger than it looks from the outside. Tons of options for swimmers (the beach, multiple pools, etc) or sunbathers. Great atmosphere and plenty of space to do your own thing.
I love this beach, and enjoy all the amenities. HOWEVER, why is smoking allowed on the beach? There is nothing more disruptive than enjoying your poolside loveliness than smelling cigar smoke blown right into your area ( dude on the rented lounger---you are rude---put the cigar away or go into the casino). This should be a non smoking beach with a designated area for smokers. I would give you ten stars for your amazing pool area, but you really need to revise this so everyone can enjoy the outdoors. You have plenty of areas where folks can smoke.
We went to enjoy the wave pool. My granddaughter was 2 inches to short and wasnt allowed in even though she is an excellent swimmer. They are only using a third of the pool so the best waves are missed. The lazy river is nice but to crowded. Especially when people on tubes run over the swimmers.
Fun for the family! My 6th month old liked the wading pool while my other kids had fun in the wave pool! Lots of places to sit without paying for the special chairs. We went on a weekday.
Very nice wave pool and lazy river. The regular pool and Jacuzzi were very nice as well. What I didnt like was how you cant get a spot with an umbrella unless you pay. Vegas is extremely hot. So youre sitting there roasting in your beach chair. We could only stand about 20 minutes then we had to go sit inside the snack bar
Towels are free, there are some beach chairs, but you have to get there early to get a good spot! It opens at 8 a.m. The Lazy River is awesome! The more people there are, the more bouncing around there might be, so keep your eyes on your kids! People are drinking and having fun, but the current runs pretty quick. We had a blast! During the summer, it does get pretty hot in Vegas. Sunscreen and plenty of water!
I have seen many music events at the Mandalay Bay Beach venue. This is a great place to see a show. Not a huge venue, so very easy to get around. You can dance in shallow water right in front of the stage with a frosty beverage. Great when it is a warm night. You can sit on the sand, walk around barefoot, and even swim in the deeper water. My only complaint is the lines at the ladies room were quite long. It would be great if they could bring in some temporary restroom trailer for the concerts. Also had to wait a long time to get a cocktail. I know Mandalay makes a lot of money on cocktails, so I wonder why they did not have more bartenders on. That aside, this is a beautiful venue. Easy to enter, easy to exit, easy to get to your car, Uber, or taxi.
Unfortunately our experience with Mandalay Bay has left us wishing we had stayed elsewhere. The only enjoyable part of the stay has been poolside. Our waitress Regina actually cared and tried to make the experience great. She was great! The only reason I have given 4 stars is for the layout and size of the pool area. The river is rather small and the wave pool seating setup is rough.
Worst experience ever!! I spent hundreds of dollars to stay at Mandalay Bay because I wanted to use there pool. Not once did i get to use it. On day 3 of trying to get in, I sat and watched the staffs process. The staff there were not counting people coming in they probably were at 35% capacity for sure. Then they have these chairs you can rent for $100 bucks each, i tried to rent some. I was told they were sold out. Over near there shark aquarium theres a huge window over looking the pool beach. Well i could see more than half of those chairs empty. It was like the staff wanted as little people as they could let in to avoid working. A lot of the pool staff are young and huddle in corners gossiping. But the customer who paid $200 dollars a night + $50 dollars in resort fees gets ripped off. I joined there waiting list on day 3 at 0955 am and by 6 Oclock I hadnt received a text to let us in. Oh, and yes they had correct information to contact me. Forget complaining to anyone because they dont care. Mandalay Bay doesnt value there customers.
We had a great time at the bay. The beach is great, though I definitely recommend renting some poolside chairs and an umbrella to get some shade if you are going to lounge all day. The room was good, very clean, and the view of the strip was superb. The online check-out was super easy (skipped what looked to be a 45 minute line) and they held our bags for us for free so we could continue to enjoy the property until our flight.
Loved the pool! Absolutely beautiful, great poolside service, and amazing drinks from the bar! We had an amazing time til I unfortunately succumbed to heat and alcohol, but when I needed help their staff was right on it and made sure I was taken care of. I dont think I could have been in better hands. Right now due to covid you are supposed to wear a mask outside of the pool and when youre not drinking or walking from pool to pool.
We really enjoyed this pool complex during our stay at Mandalay Bay. I can see why non-hotel guests would pay to enter, as it is a great attraction and you could spend a lot of time here. Kids have to be at least 4 feet tall to enter the wave pool so my little one wasnt tall enough but theres a shallow pool connected to the wave pool that gets the tail end of the waves. If your kids are not swimmers, this shallow pool is where they can play. There are also several other bodies of water, as well as sand to play in. This place gets completely packed, so arrive during the morning to get a lounge chair. You can pay to reserve chairs or rent a cabana, but it is a splurge.
Had one of the pool boys that brings around the free drinks for the cabana steal $100 from us. It was supposed to be a tip to share with the other 2 people that were serving us and he took it. Then got a call from a staff member saying we didnt leave a tip and I needed to bring one down. After talking with her and expecting her to assist us she hung up. Got a call from management and he asked for us to come back and give the ladys a tip. I thought tipping was a courtesy and not a requirement that they can ask for. Even tho I left a $100 tip.
Just enjoyed a great day at the pool with my family! Nathan the lifeguard was awesome! He helped us find chairs and a waitress after taking us on a shout tour of the pool. Very polite and courteous. We are looking to have another great day tomorrow, this time bringing our own masks.
I wouldnt call this a family friendly place. You have to be 48 inches for the wave pool. Probably insurance or something but the thing that irked me was that they had a lazy river that you had to buy a tube for. They provided no tubes. I know covid his hard but to not offer tunes when you have a lazy river is pathetic. Pool area is nice over so I gave it 2 stars for that.
Rented a cabana here and was a lot of fun. Kyle and the wait staff were super friendly and attentive. The pool had an exciting and cool vibe. The fridge was stocked with free water and soda and the drink/food menus was pretty big. In our experience The drinks were expensive considering there was next to no alcohol in any of them.
This place gets crowded during peak seasons. Show up early to claim your spot. It gets very busy by lunch time. Great for families or couples to swim, relax, and bask in the sun.
Pretty good. Dont expect anything too exciting. Its definitely not on par with any water park. The wave pool is great but you get bored after a couple of waves (1 wave per minute). The lazy river is a shirt loop and you get bored of that soon too. Being that its the middle of the desert, the sun will scorch you with very high levels of UV so even with sunscreen youre not supposed to be in the sun for too long. Ih and 225 for the sunbed was definitely not worth. All in all after 2 hours at the Beach, you kind of get bored and want to head out. All that being said, its one of the best hotel pools in Vegas.
Rented a cabana and was incredibly impressed with cabana attendants Misty and Kim. They were professional, courteous, attentive, and helpful.
Well its a great place and I love the swimming areas a little pricey but heck youre in Vegas. What cracked me up was we rented chairs up front to the wave pool and then were told later it was $75 to raise the umbrella. A safe place for kids to go because theres lots of lifeguards. I highly recommend it as a family getaway.
Such a great pool but God forbid you want shade $200 for umbrella and $18 for hamburger or chicken fingers lmao... the food is good but holy hell!!!No breaks at the pool. 3,4 years ago I would have given a 4.5 stars but they dont care for locals much. They have to let you in if youre gambling tho.
We had a great time! The pools were kept clean and lifeguards cleared out towels and trash left behind after an hour, so you can always find a place to sit. We did not order from poolside service. They do their best to keep up with the amount of drinks that are sitting around the pool. A lifeguard looking after the premium beach area was super nice to my mom and I, who are both handicapped, and we were able to sit in an unused chair for free in front of the water so we could enjoy the wavepool and only have a short walk without my prosthetic.
Paid $75 a piece for lounge chairs (reserved 3 weeks in advance). Didnt realize that there was a separate line for ppl with rentals and stood in regular line for 15 minutes to get in at 8:30am. Got the chairs of our choice and a bucket of iced bottled water (included in price). Wave pool was nice and not too crowded. Drinks were expensive, but delicious and delivered quickly. Lunch (hamburger $18, chips & guacamole $12) was meh on flavor, but the service was good.*some of the pools that you can see from Mandalay Bay rooms are for the Four Seasons guests only.
Jessica, the pool service bar tending woman, with the brownish red hair is irresponsible, passive aggressive and rude. I asked her for a water while she was taking our drinks, and she gave me such a hard time . She told my group she was doing the “bare minimum” because she drank a bottle of wine the night before. And then when I ordered the water it was such a problem. I told her I had 2 bloody noses from dehydration so I couldn’t want over to the water station. Took the rest of our groups’ drink orders, then asked me if I needed a medic in the most passive aggressive tone. So I told her to please just get me a water. I’m extremely dehydrated. When she showed up she handed everyone their drinks and when I asked if that was my water in her tray she denied me the water saying it for someone bleeding by the pool. “Why would anyone come sit by the pool if they’re bleeding?” Is what she said to me. Told me she had to call security because someone told her they were bleeding. And made a big fuss until I told her I ordered the water with everyone else’s drinks. And proceeded to insist on passive aggressively explain why she had to call security on me. And then handed me the water. If she’s so unhappy with her job, I believ McDonalds is always hiring and they just increase their starting wages. FYI
Claims to have “wave pool” but they only push out one wave every 10 mins and you can’t even stand in there without a lifeguard telling u to go to the middle of the pool? What’s the point of a huge “wave pool” if u can’t use half of it and it has barely any waves?
As a local i used to enjoy paying for a day pass to enjoy the pool activities, and spending money on food and drinks. That unfortunately is no longer an option?! You MUST buy a $350+ cabana to swim in a pool?! As well as pay for food and drinks etc. The strip has always been over priced/ overrated for locals, now your just proving why the LOCALS should spend their money off the strip. (AM I WRONG?) Your better off paying 60 to go to wet and wild at this point. HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS YOUR BUSINESS WITH NON LOCALS :)
Okay not my favorite place to be very crowded but very clean. If you go you definitely want to eat 1st the Meals Are very expensive inside the beach area. You dont want to order drinks either they are very expensive. You would think after you already pay the resort fee of $45 per night at the hotel that stuff would be cheaper inside the pool enclosure but nope. By the way that resort fee totally blindsided us.
Nice and clean. My daughter who is 3 years old had so much fun in the small wave zone. Another great thing is even if you dont stay at Mandalay, you still can get free entrance to beach if you purchase shark reef aquarium ticket. We took our daughter to visit aquarium on Sunday and spent whole day in beach the next day. Check the website for more detail.
Loved this beach! We went twice during out week at Mandalay Bay and it was definitely more enjoyable during the week as opposed to the weekend. There were so many kids over the weekend that just took over the lazy river, but the wave pool was still great. Id recommend getting a cabana if possible on the weekends because it can be hard to find chairs.
So much fun! Wave pool is so dope, basically a beach simulator in the desert. Lazy river is a blast too, its so relaxing that you barely even notice all the kids splashin around. Ample space to lay out as well, though of course this means that youd better be paying attention to where you put down all your stuff! Also dont forget to bring a floating tube of some sort, they dont exactly give em away...
The rooms are really nice and I love the beach/pool area. The big issue with this place is that there hotel rooms are faraday cages. You will get no signal in your room as they try to force you to use their internet. You will get full signal on the casino floor, which just makes everyone who shows up for a convention go and work downstairs and make it a goat rodeo to find seating. I would definitely come back as long as I had no intentions of using the internet.
Definitely kid friendly and a bunch of life guards. The lazy river is awesome and unfortunately if you dont rent a Cabana(starts at $100), you have to buy the floaties for the kiddos($21/kid).The wave pool even takes it up another notch and your toddler needs to be 48inches tall for safety reasons. The waves come at you at a tremendous force and to be aware of other kids and adults with your own is not the best thing.Overall one of the best for a family and they even have real sand!
The Sand beach was really nice to spend the afternoon and feel like you were out at the beach. It could only have been better if they offered rentable umbrellas. This option was only available if you purchased a Cabana and on the family days of Monday-Wednesday they should offer something for shade. The pool was cleaned and didnt seem overly chlorinated. There are lockers available to rent at the steep price of $20/day.
The pools are great and family friendly. The Lazy River is fun. The tubes are expensive so bring your own. Food is expensive as to be expected. You can wear sandles in the pool otherwise you’re feet will hurt waking in the sand and the pool floor is rough but good grip. The umbrella is $50 as well as a chair for $50 each so bring your wallet.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a lazy river day bed or cabana (book online ahead of time) and then save some money by bringing your own pool tubes - they have a free “inflation station” where as MGM Grand will charge you $5. $200-250 for a River day bed gets you the bed, 2 chairs, an umbrella for shade, VIP treatment, and you can come and go as you please. 100% worth it. Food and drinks are expensive but so is everything else in Vegas. We do not have kids but it’s a very family friendly pool. If you can’t handle the occasional screaming kid, the Morea Beach Club is 21+.
The pool area is amazing. There is a rule in the wave pool that you have to stay behind a certain line disallowing you to hang out where the waves are crashing. I understand this if it is super busy because you would have people crashing into each other but there is apparently zero tolerance because when we were there were only a few people but they still enforced the rule. Made the pool less fun, but still fun. Also, you can buy a tube for the lazy river for $22 and have to blow it up yourself so theres that. Despite those issues, the place is just amazing!
This place was super crowded with people. It is just too small for how big the hotel is! The sand beaches are kind of dirty and could be cleaner. The pool itself is pretty cool. A wave comes every 5 minutes or something like that. However, you cant just wade in the shallow part of the pool. The life guards will make you go in deep. Not recommended for kids.
Best place to swim in Vegas! From the wave pool to the lazy river nothing else compares when looking for family friendly! Bring cheap flip flops to wear because the sand is HOT in the summer! Wear them to the edge of the pool and leave them there (with all the rest of the them lol) We buy $1.00 Walmart ones and throw them away when we leave.
The Mandalay Bay hotels beach is a lot of fun. They have a wave pool, lazy river in addition to some extra pools. It’s fun to relax on the sand beach and listen to the waves. It’s strange how it does feel like you’re at the beach. It’s hard to explain unless you’ve been there. Be forewarned, if you’re using your room key to pay for anything you need your ID. Bring inner tubes for the lazy river because they cost $27 if you purchase them there.
Amazing in 115 degree weather. Rented a cabana and the ladies were Johnny on the spot with service. So much fun but bring the money.... It cost money to be pampered in the way you want. Loved it.
Disgusting. Trash, bandaids and fake fingernails everywhere. Staff was super unpleasant and rude. For some reason they shut down two hours early for a private event that was starting in 5 hours. They didn’t not explain that was going to be the case, had no signage informing us of that fact. If you do go make sure you buy a tube elsewhere because they do not provide tubes for the lazy river and charge a ridiculous price for them at the shop. Ours was stolen after just one use and the staff just shrugged their shoulders. Take your money elsewhere.
Nice hotel, no issues with room, except we were last door from elevator and my husband is handicapped. I should have told them. Also most casinos have a 24 hr cafe or something. They only had Citizens which is over priced, limited food options, and was poor service. We did a staycation, for the pool and wave pool. Wave pool was 1 wave every like 1 minute. My teenagers were not enthused. But smaller kids were having fun.
A regular pool would be nice. Kids cant use the wave pool unless theyre a certain height and you have to purchase the tubes for the lazy River and there is not a regular pool. It would be nice if they rented tubes since most travelers dont want to pack up a tube into their luggage when they leave.
Pools were awesome. But Sharon at the towel pick up station made it AMAZING. Very kind and loving. A great way to start a pool day 😎
Room had no towels when i got to my room after waiting 8hrs to check in just to be told that my king i reserved wasnt available. Asked for late check out since i waited so long was told no. Yes i did get a 100 food comp. But.Use to love coming here
The wave pool was fun but personally wish their wave were stronger. My 7 yo girl felt the same way. But then well it is a swimming pool in the resort not a water park so I guess it is pretty worth visiting if you staying in the hotel or have M life card. I heard you can enter with the card even you are not the hotel guest.
I always have a great time at the beach, pool, hot tub and wave pool when I go to Mandalay Bay! The nachos at the grill are delicious! Yes the drinks are pricey, but good. The best part are the employees, like Alex! He helped to execute a surprise birthday cup cake and jello shots for my friends birthday on July 5th. He is a great at communicating, efficient in what he does and never made me feel like he needed to rush and deal with something else. Employees like Alejandro Garza need to be recognized!
The room was nice, however a bottle of coke is $10, the only laundry option is $26, and you have to pay by the day for a fridge. The restaurants are both mediocre and overpriced, and the little market inside doesnt provide prices for any items. Wave pool was a big disappointment too.If you are looking for a bargain for your Vegas trip, try another resort.
The pool at Mandalay Bay is the pool of all pools on the Vegas strip. There are plenty of lounges available for everyone and plenty of helpful staff available if needed. It has everything available from the huge wave pool with life like ocean waves to the real sand beach. It also has a regular pool for those who just want to relax. There is also the unique lazy river with beautiful waterfalls that you can rent tubes and float aimlessly around. There are also a couple nice restaurants a beach bar and a swim shop convenient nearby without having to go through the entire resort to enjoy.
Great vibe, really fun pool, small lazy river.you have to pay to enter but it is great for the entire family. The layout of the chairs is a little weird but it doesnt detract from the quality of the visit. drinks were on point too. 🍹
A fun place. The wave pool is small, but a good romp. The beach is a great place to relax, however it gets crowded quick, and feels crowded. The staff are attentive and surprisingly common given the number of people at the attraction.
I have seen no reviews of the actual Moorea Beach Club, which is 21+ and toptional, all these reviews are for the general Mandalay Bay pool complex which is open to all ages. Google needs to review.
A fun pool but you have to pay for shade so to speak. You can grab a chair if you get to the pool early enough but if its blazing hot out you need to pay for an umbrella to get that bit of shade. The wave pool is a good way to cool off and the lazy river is quite relaxing.
I was with my family at the Mandalay Beach when this thin looking latino lifeguard approach us and said that we must move further to front of the pool in a rude and commanding tone. A lot of people was asking whats the problem not being close to the middle of the beach. When i asked for his name he says he is a lifeguard? I know he is a lifeguard! So when he insists i asked for his supervisor which is Anthony Sanchez. He says he cannot give his personnels name to me, why i have know idea. Maybe he was the one who hired this thin looking latino to work as a lifeguard who i think have no idea what guest services relations is all about. I have been with Ceasars Entertainment for a very long time and never had a problem like this. Corporate should hire appropriate personnels specially supervisors that knows hows to approach people. We are a family of Doctors and Nurses on this trip, with a partially disabled person on that stinky pool that day. This trip was messed up by the Thin looking lifeguard who does not want to give his name for this matter and his back up and protector supervisor Anthony Sanchez. So people when you choose a place to relax on holidays like Memorial Day, Never with MGM resorts!!! Not worth it. Try some other properties, believe me.
Wonderful. Make sure you were sandals at all times. The sand burned me. It was clean and relaxing. Bring your own umbrella. There cabanas are 350 dollars and up
While resting on a Sunday afternoon, my fiance and I were disturbed by a phone call about 1130 on our room phone. They knew my name, and of course room number. They stated that housekeeping had saw something, and that they were on their way up to our room.I called customer service, they didnt care, transfered me to Security, they didnt care, they were dismissive and arrogant.I wont ever stay here again! If I cant feel safe and secure, why would I ever subject myself to this stress again?!I came here to relax, and now we are on pins and needles, pacing our room, trying to decide whether to leave or not, and the resort doesnt care.We are having a terrible experience .....
I loved it I have been to Vegas so many times and the Mandalay bay beach is awsome even though I did not go in it its very nice to go to, had some good country music as well.
Pool was nice but to tell people $75 min for an umbrella to get a little shade on a day when its 40 degrees seems irresponsible and greedy. Its a lawsuit waiting to happen in my opinion. Oh and prices to reserve chairs and cabanas vary on how busy they are do be prepared. The Sunday we were asking about chairs were $75 each! If youre looking for pool options I would phone around or check online at different hotels. Weve been to Vegas 4 times, stayed somewhere different each time. I dont think we would stay here again.
Nice beach atmosphere to relax, or play around in the wave pool or lazy river. The kids will stay entertained for hours. The beach closes at 8pm, but the wave pool shuts down at 7pm.While certainly kid friendly, some of the women wear very, very (and I mean very) skimpy bikinis that dont leave much (or anything) to the imagination.Bring your own snacks and drinks, the food is okay, but very pricey. Save your cash and bring your own tubes for the lazy river.
Beautiful pools and beach with plenty of lounges to relax and enjoy. Free to hotel guests. You may want to bring your own food/refreshments (if they allow it) since their food and drink at the beach/pools seem expensive. This facility may make it worth picking Mandalay Bay over another resort in Vegas.
Wave pool has one wave/minute, lots of rules on what you cannot do. But kids still enjoyed it. If you want a float for the lazy River, bring your own or rent one for $20/day. Free towels to use, cant bring in glass or coolers, but can carry in alcohol. Find a chair in the shade as it gets hot on the sand by noon.
So much fun, they actually have concerts near the wave pool. The lazy river was so relaxingWe went early in the morning and were able to just float around the river just us. It does get busy later but just as much fun..
We had the unexpected bonus of spending a day at the Mandalay Bay Beach pool area thanks to our tickets from the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef aquarium. The tickets get you complementary access to the Beach within 48hrs of your ticket purchase. We stayed at the MGM Grand, and their pools are pretty boring, so it was nice to take advantage of this offer. The main beach pool is a large wave pool. The waves arent very intense and the wave only comes about every 90 seconds or so - not like you would expect at a typical water park. Still, it was a nice place to hang out. They have a lazy river that was a good bit larger, both in length and width, than the one at MGM Grand. Be warned - theres no free tubes here. They sell them for $25! MGM Grand is the same. I ended up going to a Walmart and buying some basic 45 diameter tubes for $5/each and we gave them to another family to make use of after we finished our visit. There was also a third more traditional pool that made for a nice hangout area as well. I think were going to seriously consider Mandalay Bay next time were in Vegas. One word of warning - it is hot. You will need flip flops as a minimum. I would actually recommend getting some aqua socks that you can keep on your feet the whole time. I asked one of the life guards if we could have worn aqua socks in the wave pool and was told yes. Next time, Ill remember to bring ours.
I stayed here 5 nights and wasnt able to enjoy the pool area....😒 NO SHADE!!! TERRIBLE! ALL THE other hotels on the strip have umbrellas by the pool area ...this one you have to PAY! VERY DISAPPOINTED..
I want to give this place 5 stars, I really do. Im not familiar with Beach resorts in Vegas, or pool resorts, really. I just cant give a place 5 stars when a large iced drink is $28 and a 12oz slushie drink is $15.As a former bartender, I know the costs on these things. I know that that $11 Corona costs them $0.93. I know that our slushie drinks cost roughly the same. The beach setup was nice, and the servers seemed attentive. But I was done after 1 round and a $60 bar tab after tax and tip for 2 drinks. Its 5 stars if youre not interested in drinking, but if you are, save yourself the cash and stop getting ripped off.
Nice hotel, good staff brilliant pool family friendly, food within hotel very expensive and not as good as other places, this includes the snacks and the top restaurants, bottled water in room 20$ same bottle twice the size across the road in local shop $6? You expect to pay more but not at that level, they would make more money if it was more sensibly priced.
Its a great pool area, needs more shade and is super super busy. Lazy river is great, wave pool is great, hot tub is a little small. Drinks are a fortune.
We had a Great time, even that we had to leave almost as we got there. There are alot of pools that are sectioned off nicely. You can bring in your own roynd tube and they will blow it up. We found our chairs fairly easy in 10:30 we ordered food ans virgin drinks and got into the lazy river and right as I got in I felt a sharp pain all the way up and down my leg and back. I did ride it around. We ate the food and got one more drink each, we wanted it in a take home cup which it did not come in like the first one did. We left I ended up having to go to the ER later that night.
$25 for a small inflatable inner tube. $35 for a large one. You have to fight to find a pool chair. $8 for a beer. $500 for a cabana for six people. There are indeed many sexy women, but its crowded. Also, its a pool and youre in your swimming trunks, but they wont take credit cards without ID. My friend was double charged for a beer.To their credit, they have a good wave pool, a lazy river, and even a DJ in one area. The real sand is an excellent touch too.
Great pool to relax on a weekday for a local. I love going to the pool on my day off to worship the sun gods. Only 20 bucks for all pool privileges.Staff is super friendly. Spend a day at the beach for cheap in Vegas.
Lots of fun when they let you in. Waiting list run about 3 hours. Beers are $16 each. But the lifeguards are great and staff is friendly.
I used to love this beach area but now its flaws are becoming so apparent. No shade!! My God you have to pay $150 bucks for shade! Unbelievable. The crowds are a deterrent. I will be staying at an air b and b next time!
Very crowded. Big disappointment when we were not allowed to exit the Delano gate making us walk way out of our way to get back to Mandalay Bay Hotel. My 70yr old husband had a walker & it was 115 degrees. I was VERY upset by their inconsiderate & poor judgement. I should have reported them. Also the drinks @ the bar were very overpriced.
Great family fun. Bring sunblock. Shade is $$$. Lots of life guards. Very safe environment. I counted 8 lifeguards around the main wave pool+ life guards running in and out of every area. Good family fun
We are here the last week of August so all the kids have gone back to school. Its not that busy now, we found a lounge chair right away. Went to the bar for a drink the lady was waiting on someone then I was next. Two people walked up in the meantime and she never even looked up to ask who was next just took the order from the person that was in front of her. Terrible bartending skills. Inflatables for lazy river were ridiculously priced. If they didnt have the wave pool for my son I wouldnt come.
Nice place for family and friends specially kids coz lot of pool to choose, most popular is the wave pool and lazy river. We try the 2 queen bedroom but a little smaller than other hotels, no regular fridge to put your food and drinks, they have fridge for their automatic chargeable drinks. We will try again on next visit.
Great for family - but here are details I wish Id known:- First it fills up really quick even the expensive gondolas are gone really fast.- There are no umbrellas unless youve reserved and paid for it and they are limited so again youd need to prepare to spend more $ and be quick.- Pool depth - connected to the wave pool is a kiddie pool with gradual increase in depth capping out at 4 feet deep. The other none wave pools (that allow kids) all max out at roughly 4 feet deep. The only way to find a deep end of a pool (again in kid allowed sections) is to swim out to deep end of the wave pool.- Lazy river, you have to rent the tubes.- sand seems cool but im not sure if i really liked the mess and very dirty towels it creates.- Wave pool kicks out a single wave it seems like about once every 90 seconds according to the life guard.
Vacation spot and pools CLOSED BY 6!?! SOOO MANY POOLS FOR WHAT? TO TEASE YOUR GUESTS? YOU DONT EVEN HAVE AN ADULT NIGHT SWIM EVEN THE CHEAPER HOTELS KEEP THEIR POOLS OPEN UNTIL 10PM. THEY GET 5 STARS!
Nice pools with real sand. The wave pool is quite fun.Lits of sun beds, and numerous pools. We had a good time.Less of a party pool
Lazy river is great, but much shorter than the MGM Grand. The poolside menu is short (hot dogs, chicken fingers), but if you go to the beach bar, the menu is waaaay better, with much more selection. Get the chicken rice bowl, trust me.
A lot of fun. Wave pool was weak and a little cold but the lazy river had a great current and warm. Kids really enjoyed it and was back at it first thing in the morning.
The beach was ridiculously crowded and we went on a Tuesday afternoon!!! They didnt have enough chairs and absolutely no shade unless you pay for shade which cast cost anywhere from $100(for a small umbrella)-$500 plus even if you are a mlife member you have to pay to get in and they dont let you see what your getting or if there is seating before you pay to enter.
Although theres usually some hiccups, this pool is awesome! Theres a lazy river, a wave pool, and regular pool + hot tub. Love the sand but it gets hot!
GREAT service but ungodly, expensively overpriced for non-guest beach entrance. We are locals and dont find anywhere that gives locals discounts. The pools and beach are massive though, plenty to do and eat. Was a good experience, i just wish it didnt cost so much! They are also ONLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC M-THURS
This location is in Las Vegas..We enjoyed the pool party.. The employees are helpful and friendly.. Customers are able to purchase food and drinks with Cash or Credit Cards. Customer can also Rent a Cabbana while enjoying the Pool
This place is worth it! We were staying at the Flamingo, so we paid $20 per adult to get it, $20 for a locker and $34 for 2 inner tubes. You can buy your own inner tuber somewhere else, like Walgreens or CVS, so long as its under 48 inches and they will inflate them for free. You can only use inner tubes in the lazy river. We loved the lazy river!!!
Nice resort with lots of things to do. Pool area is nice and always plenty of beach chairs. The stores are overpriced so if you get a headache dont buy the severely overpriced Advil (20 liquigel capsules for 16.50 vs 5.99 at Walgreens). Minibar.. Better not touch the contents.. Once again so overpriced. You arent allowed to put your own items in there either, there is a daily fee if you want to put something in the fridge. Lol.
WAY too crowded for being in the middle of a pandemic! I was assured they were following safety measures but I dont think they are. There was no more than a foot between all people in the water and out. Also, why require an ID to purchase a soda and virgin drinks? Extremely annoying considering there was no other place to order non-alcoholic drinks than the bars.
One of my favorite attractions in Vegas. The artificial beach is huge and the waves are great to swim on. There are life guards at service and other amenities are good too including cafe and grill.
A good place to stay once you get the hang of going in and going out. They do charge 15 bucks a day for parking. But you can drive in and out as many times as you want for 15 bucks one shot pay a day
Love this pool experience. We spent two days floating in the lazy river, soaking up the sun and enjoying all of the amenities.
Kids loved the beach, and the service is awesome.Pricey food, but almost worth it based on my kids faces😀
Their lazy river is so much fun. Also the wave pool. It does get pretty packed. Best time to go is early in the morning otherwise itll be hard to find a chair.
Our son wasnt big enough.... so we went to the kiddy side. Maybe next time! Although we rented a cabana and the non swimmers hung out there ate and drank. Fun!
