Haven’t had the best experiences in the past at Massage Envy but tried out this location with Sergio and it was A GREAT experience. He listened to where my troubled areas were and focused on those. Frequently made sure everything was feeling okay and adjusted accordingly. The front desk girls (including Iris) took great care of me at check out as well. They spoke to me like a friend and I really appreciated that♥️ This has been the best experience with Massage Envy. Thank you!

My ENTIRE BODY was aching but my low back, fingers, and my feet were unbearable with pain. Shawn took my low back pain from 100 out of 10...yes 100 out of 10 to a 6 out of 10 on the second stretch. I was speechless. I am a chronic pain sufferer. I normally go to Andrew, who is exceptional, but was not available. Shawn has a great style for stretching and massage. I am scheduled to see him again. I Definitely recommend Shawn. Getting your back right...getting your pain down...makes your mental stress lighter. Real talk!!!!

This Massage Envy is in a GREAT location. The front desk staff were really pleasant and welcoming. Sergio was very good. He listened to my concerns and worked those areas, and used techniques that were new to me and I could feel the difference. He was very professional and nice. My first time ever getting a facial! Cheri was amazing/ I think I fell asleep about 4 times during my hour session! Definitely worth it! My skin looked amazing!Also had an hour massage with Morgan which was great as well! Those hours went by so fast!

I was in desperate need for a massage because my upper back was tight and my ribs were out of alignment! I was able to get an evening appointment which is difficult to find as well as same day appointment, which is even more attractive, and my back feels significantly better. Cindy did an excellent job working with me and hitting all parts of my body and really focusing on my back to help release attention. I was able to get both quality service last minute!

I looovvvveee Gean she remembered I’m breastfeeding and had the breast cushion set up already she asked about my baby remember that I sent my sister and was again so welcoming. Great customer service before & during our visit. I had Marie, she had a wealth of knowledge & was a pleasure to be paired with. I treated my mom to her first professional massage & she was paired with Marelis. Marelis was Spanish speaking, which was needed for mom to be able to communicate her needs. I had my first appt with Massage Envy on June 17th, and it will NOT be my last! From the front desk to the actual massage, every employee actively ensured I felt relaxed. I had Marie for my 60 min session and she was FABULOUS. It was clear she knows what she’s doing and was able to work out every knot. I’ve already rebooked and will be coming in often!

Had a 30 min stretch and 60 min massage with Cynthia and she was amazing! Talked me through the stretch and asked how I was feeling with each stretch performed ensuring my comfort. The massage was just as good. I recommend her for the stretch and massage combo any time! Thank you Cynthia! I’ll be seeing you again in the near future!

Marie is amazing! She truly cares about my needs and I can tell she is experienced and loves her job. I struggle with low back pain and she even gave me advice on taping it for work. I will continue to see her monthly!

Horrible service. When speaking to team members on the phone they are rude and short, trying to cancel my membership was a huge headache and had to call multiple times to get the cancellation form. Finally got the form and signed it before the ten day auto renewal and they still charged me for the next month. The team members do not communicate with each other and did not give me a refund for the additional month they charged me. Also the massages are very short with the membership, I understand the ten minute allocation time for getting undressed and preparing for the massage but they usually finish before the time is over or leave the room mid massage to grab something for awhile. I would no recommend this location at all.

Everyone at ME is professional and kind, maintaining a peaceful environment. Nik did a fantastic job with my massage, focusing on my shoulders and upper back as I requested. I left feeling relaxed and finally without pain.

I have been trying to cancel my membership because I dont have time to book sessions. I reached out, and was sent a form to sign. I returned it 15 minutes after. I have called to confirm for the pass 2 days and no one is responding to my calls or email. Beware that you cannot just go online to cancel, and it seems that the associate responsible to handle these requests does not do so with prompt communication. I was trying to avoid being charged. Its been 4 months of a membership I havent been able to use and this process should be way more simple. 😒

Angela is amazing, I’ve been going to her for a while now and I always leave feeling so relaxed and refreshed. I travel a lot for work and between hotel beds and multiple flights my back is always a mess. Every appointment she makes sure to ask me specifically what is bothering me and caters my massage to address those issues. I can’t recommend her enough!

This is an average between rating parking and the massage itself.Parking was 3/5. It was difficult to find, but at least it was free. When I booked, the lady mentioned shed send a link with video instructions, but in this day in age, why is that not automated.Jackelin was 6/5. I was overall impressed by her ability to talk and massage at the same time. I was also impressed that while she mentioned only getting to moderate pressure, it felt like she was doing a deep tissue (which was awesome). Also, got some good suggestions to go to while I am visiting.Look forward to coming back when Im next in the area.

I rarely write reviews but this had to be said...Angel is incredible! He found my pain points and worked on them until those knots ran in defeat. Best massage Ive ever had...and I get them weekly.This one was a gift from a friend...easily the best gift shes ever given me.This spot is a hike for me but well worth it. See you next week Angel!

Ive been a member since 2018, and my mom even longer. I always got a monthly facial, and loved every single one I got. I couldnt say a bad word if I tried about my experiences with facials. I finally became brave enough to try the massages, and unfortunately had a couple bad experiences. However, I think its all about finding the one because when I did, it changed everything. Now I make it a regular appointment. My go-to masseuse is Jean, and my go-to esthetician is Jennifer. They are experienced, thoughtful, and thorough. Of course this is all great, but the customer service at the front rounds out how fantastic this location is. Lori/Laurie (not sure how to spell her name, sorry!) is the BEST! Shes personable, always has my best interest, funny, and kind. She makes the whole experience easier and better. Highly recommend to go here if youre in Tampa.

When you come to this location, ask for Marelise. She made the experience SO relaxing for me and knew what I needed more than I did. She even said, “If you fall asleep, no worries. That means I’m doing my job right!”

I drive all the way to Tampa (1 hour drive)for my facials with Jennifer. She is worth it! Once my facial starts I am so relaxed I fall asleep. Next thing I know it I am being woken up ! So good!

Jackie did a great job with the back massage, but I didnt feel like the rest of my body received the same level of massage. She could have done better.

So I love massage envy in general ive been going for over 10 years to a lot of locations but i got a massage yesterday 11/27/23 that was just underwhelming. It was scheduled for 9 pm and i got there at 8:45. I had a pinched nerve in my neck so i really needed this treatment. My masseuse came out from cleaning the room at like 9:12 which i really dont mind the behind schedule. She brought me to the room to talk about needed areas. We did not start until 9:20 (which again i dont mind because i was assuming id still get the full 60 minutes). She was great but unfortunately she only did like half my body. Im not sure if she was distracted (we spoke the whole time which i usually dont prefer but its ok) so at times when she would be talking she wouldnt be massaging, which was frequent throughout. By the time she said ok thats all i only got my back neck and right arm done. I came in for a full body. I looked at the time and it was 9:55! For $125 60 minute session i basically got half of the time i paid for. I wish i said something to the front desk ladies at the time but I am not one to make issues i work in service myself. But now i am out $135 (obviously i still tip) my whole left side is out of wack. I am only putting this review up for management to see and make sure people are getting what they paid for because usually massage envy is great! Probably wont be going to this specific location again :/

I have been going to Jean for several months now for massages and she is amazing at working out the tension in my upper and lower back! Highly recommend Jean if you are needing a medium to firm massage.

September 7 - 60 min massage and rapid tension relief with Cindy at Tampa Downtown location. Shes a veteran massage therapist who knows the advanced techniques, pressure, stretches, etc. I walked in with neck strain and difficulty raising my right arm without pain and I left with better mobility and very little pain. I will be scheduling future services with Cindy!My first full body 90 min massage in a very long while and Morgan was wonderful. She applied the perfect amount of pressure and was very thorough in covering the trouble spots. She was gracious when asked to do a bit more in my low back. I only felt that her technique wasnt well balanced yet it was better than others Ive experienced. Im used to a symmetrical and even technique from side to side - what happens on one side is typically repeated on the other. Other than that I did feel that I got a very good massage and I will definitely ask for Morgan again, soon.

I got my massage from Jean who did an excellent job. I’m the type of person who likes to be in control of everything so letting go to this extent is never easy for me. However, it was so easy to do in this case as Jean does an excellent job of making you feel at home and relaxed. So much so that I kept falling asleep while she worked on my back. I don’t necessarily have back issues, but she worked hard to relieve the tension from that part of my body. She also did a great job on my feet, the part of my body that needs it the most. Thanks again to Jean and Massage Envy for a wonderful experience.

The parking & location here is difficult there is a garage but but is also a residence garage as well. The location is on a side street not where you would expect it to be. My wife & I both had 1 hour massages she had normal & i had what was supposed to be Deep tissue. My wife’s was fine but mine was more like a basic rub down I didn’t enjoy it. They also started 5 minutes late and finished 10 minutes early so be aware not getting a full 60 minutes. The inside & staff were great but we will not be returning to this location.

Morgan recognized my issues right away and provided a very effective and enjoyable massage therapy session. The reception team is always friendly and helpful. Free, covered parking is a bonus when it’s raining and / or wicked hot out.

The best massage I have ever had. Andrew was the best listener of my needs. I am overcoming from alot of pain post car accident. He made me very comfortable and adjusted his technique and pressure levels instantly as needed. I could barely move walking in but leaving my muscles felt relaxed. The staff is amazing!!!!

My therapist was Jean. She is very informed in her skill. She helped decompress my spine. My lower back hasn’t ached since my session with her. I am very thankful for the excellent service.

Mason is top 3 most talented massage therapist I’ve in my lifetime. My wife’s been going to him for a few months for side lying massages her migraines have disappeared. I took her appointment this week and quickly realized why she has to book him a week in advanced. 10/10 would recommend. I’m a 240lbs former athletes with lots of issues and his pressure is able to get into the deeper muscles. I was able to roll over through out the night without my lower back or hips waking me up last night. First time in a long time .

This was a great experience with Andrew. I told him this is my second time coming to spot Indy and that he had big shoes to fill since my first experience with the first guy. Andrew definitely apply the pressure that I needed to find relief with all the stress in my muscles. I definitely recommend him if youre looking for someone who could get the job done.

Ive had the pleasure of receiving a massage from several amazing therapists at this location. Joshua has amazing knowledge of Anatomy and gives a great myofascial massage. Angela does incredible deep tissue work, my hips never feel better than when shes worked on them! Andrew does fantastic deep tissue work, as well. Hes very knowledgeable about sports massage and trigger point. Marie gives a wonderful Swedish Massage and I love the way she integrates stretching into the service.

This was my first ever massage and I am so glad I didnt chicken out. The massage therapist I received was very professional and helped walk me through the process. The place was very Zen like. Nice calming music. The gal, Jean that did my massage was gentle yet firm on me. She also did a special sugar rub on feet...wow it sure felt good. If you have lots of tension in your body they will pinpoint it and rub it away. Go to this place, you probably wont be disappointed.

I have been getting facials from Jennifer for about a year now and she truly is the best there is. I’ve had facials at five star resorts all over the country and nobody beats Jennifer. She is extremely thorough and meticulous. Perfect at assessing what your skin needs. My forehead always had a crunch bar texture for literally YEARS and with her help I have a completely smooth face. I literally get compliments all the time now on how great my skin looks. I highly recommend, especially if you live in the area! Super convenient walk to the best facial ever.

Angela is amazing. I was going to cancel my membership last month, but I had the pleasure of meeting Angela & she is awesome. I’ve seen her twice now , and she really help me with my fibromyalgia. I have been receiving massages and facials for more than a year at the Tampa downtown location. All the front desk and massage staff are welcoming and professional. Cheri’s facials are relaxing and executed with such care. Angela is both friendly and caring, and certainly gets the job done using the correct pressure as needed. My husband sees Andrew for massage and likes how knowledgeable he is with deep tissue therapeutic massage. We both plan to continue to come to this location for our massages/facials.

Always impressed by the ease of scheduling and friendly welcoming staff at this location in Channelside. Marie is amazing; so knowledgeable and skilled, she is truly helping me with pain! I’ve never been a person who really enjoys or seeks out a massage, so to be going regularly and looking forward to it is significant. I would give Marie 10 stars if I could!

I’ve been a Massage Envy client for years. I’ve seen many different therapists over the years. It’s inexpensive and gets the job done decently enough. I firmly believe that you typically get what you pay for. So I don’t expect miracles or the same level of skill that is provided with private therapists or high end spas. Recently I have been booking with Joshua. He is next level. He exceeds far beyond any other Massage Envy Therapists or actually any other high end spa therapists I have ever seen. He has an incredible knowledge of the body and all of the areas that need attention. He is able to eliminate the pain that I have in my arms, legs and back all within 1 session and still provide an incredibly relaxing experience. He is well educated and able to explain home therapies that can be done for relief in between sessions. Can’t recommend him enough!!!

Angela did a wonderful job! The firm pressure massage was exactly what I needed and she really worked my problem areas. She is excellent if you want high pressure. Highly recommend.

Lori at the front desk was super friendly and eager to help find all the discounts possible for my service. I got a 90 minute massage from Peter. He did great providing firm to deep pressure and focusing in on some of my tightest areas. I often leave a massage feeling disappointed - like they barely touched me. Peter did a great job ensuring that I felt my muscles had actually been worked on. I will be going back!

Best aesthetician ever. She is so expert in facial treatment. I have been using her for so many years and now my daughter that is 17 years old is going to see her because of acne. A terrific experience. The common areas were spacious and calm, and the front desk attendant was very nice. Marelis was incredible! She was so comforting and kind, and obviously cares very much about her craft. I have chronic pain, and she knew everywhere it hurt and where to spend extra time without me even having to say anything. I left without pain for the first time in over a month, and I am excited that I was lucky enough to find such a terrific therapist.

I have been REALLY impressed with Angela’s service. I’m not great at communicating if a massage is too hard or too light (I’m Canadian, we’re weirdly polite!) so I love that she asks several times about the pressure, especially when in particularly sore areas.I also had a massage with Roberto recently who was excellent!! He’s strong but quickly adjusts to your preferences.

Mason was so good! I have seen so many people at ME and left feeling like going was a waste of time. But Mason spend the FULL hour focusing on muscle points and working out every knot. He was so thorough I started wondering if I had booked 90 minutes! It felt like twice as long as when I see other therapists because he did so much! Highly recommend Mason and will only book with him from now on.

I went there like five months ago, I liked the place, it was very nice, Im the front desk girl was nice, my rezon that I gave only 2 Star, because when I made the appointment the girl that I talked I asked about the prices of the service I saw online it was a swedish massage for first costumer $70 dollar for 60 minutes so I made the appointment I asked for one therapist so when I went there they put me another one, the guy just rupped my back my leg and I didnt feel like I got a real massage, so when I went to pay the girl told me it was $130.00 😮 and I tried to explain that when I made the appointment the girl told me it was $70 for first time client, but she told me that I may missunderstood , but I know I understand very well when I talked to the girl by phone because that girl speaks Spanish like me so how Im going to do not understand what she told me so I was very disappointed 😞 I paid and I left I was trying to get the membership but after that I didnt do it

Laura is AMAZING!!! I have been seeing her for about a year and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her! She is extremely professional, kind, caring, and always goes the extra mile to ensure each session is tailored to my needs. She provides education after each session, such as stretching and proper hydration, to make sure I am well taken care of. Laura is incredible at what she does and I am beyond grateful for her! Massage Envy Downtown is fantastic. Jennifer is the esthetician I highly recommend at this location for facials. She is super knowledgeable and tailors each session to meet your current skin care goals. I think she’s the best in Tampa Bay. Marie is the massage therapist I go to. I come to Joshua once a month and he’s phenomenal, especially with deep tissue work. I work multiple jobs fully remote and always have unbelievable neck and shoulder tension. It’s always been a challenge for me to find someone who can really give me any sort of relief, but I always leave my sessions feeling so much better.

I’ve been routinely getting massages for about 10 years now. Mason is absolutely one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever had. Able to locate trigger spots without even telling him where they are.

Went to the ME on Kennedy in Tampa and had a wonderful experience. Michele was my MT and I could tell right away that I was in good hands. It was almost as if she knew what I needed and went right to work. Not a lot of chit-chat (which I like)! I would ask for her specifically next time I’m in Tampa!

After years of trying different massage therapists (at ME and elsewhere), I’ve finally found my guy in Andrew! The facility is always clean and peaceful and the is staff friendly and helpful. Full disclosure that I did give this review as I was told it would give Andrew a bonus but I wouldn’t do so if I honestly wouldn’t recommend him or this ME anyway.

Shawn is the best. My jog after my last massage with him was one of my best ever- I’ve never felt so light! 10/10

Michele was wonderful and took the time to work out all the really tight spots, and I felt so much better afterward! She also offered some helpful advice about how to care for myself after the massage, such as encouraging me to stretch more and drink more water. Definitely recommend!

Long-time member (7+ years), love massage envy at downtown Tampa/Channelview and Portland Maine (snowbird). Peter is my favorite in Tampa. He provides a very firm massage with techniques (European?) that are slightly different and wonderfully effective. I come in not able to fully bend because of lower back and hip pain and leave flexible and feeling great for nearly a week thereafter. He is truly excellent.

Cynthia is fantastic! With the firm massage, she provides focused pressure and provide relief. The leader of the checkin process has been there for a very long time and makes you feel welcome and relaxed from the moment you walk in. Great experience!
