Food was alright, karaoke was fun, one of your bar-back is incredibly rude. Said “excuse me” her response “I’m not a bartender”.. snappy and rude… when my question could have been; “what time is kitchen close?”“Where’s the bathroom?” Anything honestly..?But instead she was rude and inhospitable. Would highly suggest retraining.

Great Madison Avenue band tonight and great service! AC was set to 65 degrees tonight. Terrible Letter Rip band tonight! Its no wonder hardly anyone was there. No hand soap in the mens restroom two nights in a row. Where is the Health Department when you need them? Waiter was extremely rude tonight. It will be a while before we go back.

Huge selection of craft beers, TVs and sports everywhere. Live music on the weekends so I can get my exercise on the dance floor! Two patios, three Keno machines.They have daily specials - the half price polish sausage hot dogs on Wednesday are my favorite.

Good food at great prices. Love seeing live bands. Been there about 4 times in the last few months. Last night was disappointing. 2 of us enjoying food, the band and drinks. Mixed drinks were so very LIGHT on the alcohol. Disappointing. Very disappointing. I can usually get feeling good on about 3-4 rum and cokes. How come I had 8 rum and cokes and not feel anything? The person I was with also had 8 drinks, and we were both waiting to feel some kind of effect. After 3-4 we didnt feel anything so we ordered another. Then another and so on, until we had 8, yes 8 each. We did have some food which was good, but then the bill came and yea we had 16 drinks and food, mostly expecting to feel good and hear the band. Something that should have taken half the amount of drinks. We were totally sober with a bill of $102.75, because we kept expecting for the alcohol to kick in. No wonder the food is so cheap. They make up for it by not pouring a decent drink.

Im from out of town and was here for about 15 minutes. No one greeted us at the door. We sat awkwardly waiting for service or at least acknowledgement and nothing. I was hoping someone would notice and explain how karaoke worked or something. This place was off and weird.

Got a pretzel with some drinks while chilling watching the live 419 Every Day People... loved everything about the place! Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!!

One of our favorite places! Especially excellent Burgers and food.Every night they have different games/activities nightly! Sunday is pool and karaoke, euchre on Monday etc.Staff and customers are friendly and it has that neighborhood bar feel you just dont find anymore.

This is a great bar restaurant that draws an older crowd. The wraps are excellent and our waiter was very attentative. They have bands on occasion. Well worth the stop while in the Sylvania area.

TLDR: great food and drinks and decent atmosphere(:Granted we were sitting at the bar so service was quick for us pretty much automatically. Their animal style fries are super yummy, coming from a Cali native, they were WAAAAY better than In-n-Outs trash fries lolHad 2 shots: frosted animal cracker(yum!) and Pen*s Shot or something like that, which was also really good.Atmosphere was alright. Some cover band and a good amount of middle aged people maybe 40s and up. Hilarious enough one side was fuuull of clearly the older generation and then the other side was all 20s and 30 year olds haha. For a Friday night it was pretty mellow but I was also only there til like 1030. Most definitely will be back(: 👌

Some of the staff are a bit rude, walk in the door bartender having a conversation with a customer about nothing important, I stand there for 2 minutes only to witness the bartender leave that conversation and wait on other customers sitting down and 5 minutes later wait on me, they did not mention they would be with me in just a minute, I just completely felt unimportant and spent $50 plus dollars over an hours time, Ill stick with roosters in Sylvania for pristine customer service.

We love the Beer Stube. The Staff is the best, the drinks are good, and they have bands with a dance floor. My favorite place to party!

The live bands and dancing are the reasons I give Bier Stube 5 stars overall. The facility is average for cleanliness, the bar / wait staff are friendly and efficient, the bands are great, and the food / drinks are good. The facility is small for its popularity and does hit capacity on occasion. Arrive before the band starts to not wait in line and to get a place to sit. There is a seating area to wait outside until someone leaves, but it is not exactly temperature controlled, wind-free, or smoke-free. If you dont like crowds, be aware that the dance floor on occasion overflows into the seating and walking areas, and there are lots of people just standing around. Have patience with the bartenders who, when overly busy, may accidentally serve people out of order. They are doing their absolute best to help everyone. This may sound like a negative review, but it is intended to be constructive / useful information from someone who enjoys the Bier Stube. It is a popular place to go, and it says something that they can do a decent job handling at capacity / overcapacity crowds.

Great tap room with an awesome updated menu full of unique twists on bar food staples. Karaoke and quiz nights make this an excellent destination for a night out.

French onion soup is amazing! Loaded nachos phenomenal! Chicken chunks fantastic! Great service!

Went on a double date with some great friends Friday night. Karaoke is back! Ladies got to do their songs and have fun. Boys got to sampling some of the choices in beers and ciders. Great night out, totally recommend at least one visit if you havent been there before.

I usually dont eat anything there. If theres a good band playing then Ill go with a couple of my girlfriends. And its closer to my house which is convenient.

We used to go almost every week for karaoke, and the experience is just.... No. Terrible DJ.The service is still alright, prices are....eh, ok.I can go to a million other bars for cheaper drinks, faster service, and MUCH better karaoke.

Very rude bartender. From the moment we got there she acted like it was annoying that she had more customers.. after awhile we were ready for another drink and I was trying to get her attention for over a half an hour while sitting at the bar and got ignored. Then at one point when she was walking by I said excuse me and she responded in a very condicening way and simply said Hii and kept going. She was skinny and brunette with glasses.. Im working class and have been in the service industry and I never would treat a customer this way.

Great bar, friendly staff, good drinks, good food. Nice atmosphere.Ordered the Nachos, meat was pretty good. Hubby got the burger and fries, thick cut fries, bacon was cooked to perfection.

Karaoke is my favorite time to go!

Met there on a Friday after work the place was pretty full and only one server working, after waiting 10 -15 minutes we went to the bar to get a drink and back to the table where we were met by a server that told us we couldnt order food because she was the only one working and she was waiting for more staff to arrive. I understand but its Friday evening and we have to wait to order food ? The band started at 6 which Im sure would be fun to listen to if it wasnt so loud . I dont want to yell directly into someones ear to talk . Cant say well rush back .

Fun place, a little hard to get drinks sometimes, but decent. Has state for band. Dance floor, pool tables etc. Outdoor sitting area. Good place to come grab a bite and a drink

Was not busy at the time we were there (7:30pm on a Wednesday) but I have been here during the weekends when they have a band, and they get a nice crowd. Ive been coming here for many years and Ive never been disappointed. The food looked good that other people were ordering but Ive never eaten here. Tucked into a shopping plaza.

Got kicked out due to knowing their junkie cook whose court ordered job due to his hate crime found his way into working at Bier Stube. My friends testify in his hate crime and I get kicked out. Great place!

Huge beer selection and great wings! I recommended a mix of pineapple jalapeno and buffalo. Atmosphere varies depending on when you go. Definitely a lively bar on the weekends. They have karaoke nights and euchre. A little something for everyone!

Do not even want to give this establishment a 1 star. We stopped in to this establishment for a few hours, towards the end of our time there we had two very aggressive women come up to us and tell us we had to leave . We can only assume we were asked to leave because we were the only people of color at the whole establishment . When we asked why we were being made to leave no explanation was made but hostility to make us leave . We will gladly give our money to any other establishment that supportes patrons of color.

My group of friends and I come here every Tuesday for general knowledge trivia. The trivia host is kind and friendly, also every server I have had here is amazing, dollar tacos before 9 o’clock that are out of this world. And amazing beer list. Always a great time.

I walked in and was greeted with a welcoming smile right away. The service was great throughout the rest of the night as well. I had the pepper jack cheese bites which went well with my Guinness and my Chicken wrap hit the spot!The crowd and atmosphere was great and so was the karaoke! I will definitely be coming back for some more good times.

Usually its always great service however last time i ordered some food they had messed it up, now i dont let one mishap Usually determine how i feel about a place, i called and they were quick to correct it telling me to come in and get another one the next time i was around. Well i did, however when i came in the bartender walked right past me 3 times helping other people and then off to the other side, i tried kindly to get her attention but again just focused on the ones already there. So i tried going to the guy at the kitchen to see if he could help and told me i had go get the lady at the bar, finally after getting her attention she in a very snarky way yes? I told her i was told to come by and get a new sandwich in her reply ok and? I understand it may have been busy but i definitely didnt deserve the attitude for no reason

Absolutely Love this bar, Bartenders are all over the top kind, atmosphere is super, Im so glad its close to home. We stumbled upon a band that we cant get enough of Spoiled Green , singer is OK , but the guitar and set have a unique sound so unique , like The Doors have their own sound... Come check this bar out ! my gal and I are 50 and the kids here are polite as well...Good Crowd

This is a great place for all ages to hang out. I like going out but sometimes feel awkward feeling too old. Not here. There are people older and ypunger than me and all have fun. On the weekends they have a band and karaoke during the week. Great beer choices and the food looked good.

Pretty decent bar. Serves good bar food and is pretty large. Gets very crowded and loud on the weekends so not the best place for socializing with a group bigger than just a couple people. Karaoke nights are very fun. Bar does not allow men to wear tank tops.

The food is good and the staff is great; I just wish the stube would stop trying to be more like Bar 145 and every other music venue and just bring back the karaoke on the weekends.EDIT: They started bringing back karaoke on the weekends and its been fun. My only complain now is that I wish theyd update their karaoke books a bit more but Im not sure thats exactly the bars fault.

Would have been helpful if beers on monitor were matched with what tap they were. Place was busy and service was slow, maybe another bartender or two. The one I had seemed grumpy.

This is one of the best in the area. There are two sides to the place and the bar flows all the way around into both rooms/sections. One of the most Note where the aspects is the amount of draft beer they have on tap available at any one time. Its pretty impressive. The Bier Stube has TVs all over, youll never miss a game based on seating. The main area frequently offers karaoke nights and live musc. It can get hoppin on any given night but definitely n weekends. The secondary area has pool tables, and a couple game machines (Golden Tee, etc). The food here is run by a adjacent connected kitchen called The Joint serving wings, chunks, nachos, salads, hot dogs, bar food sides... Food has always been good. You can order food from anywhere at the bar. There are Keno displays and multiple lottery machines. Theres also an outdoor patio with heaters for people who need to step out from time to time for whatever reason. Bartenders and staff has always been good to myself and our friends.

Great place went their last night on 4/19 a Friday night met up with some friends first time that I ever been their..They have live bands on the weekends really nice and big inside and full service of food and alcohol. They also have a front patio. I had a great time.

Great dance party here. We frequent here on Friday. There is a band from 6 to 10. Then Kareoke. Come early to get a seat and get a bite to eat. The food is great.

Honestly one of the most overrated bars in town. Way, way overpriced ($6.00 for domestic draft is outrageous in Toledo). The staff really couldnt be worse. The most personable staff are the bouncers. The bar girls are snotty, slow, and rude. And if theyre wondering why they dont get tips, this is why. The redeeming quality of stube are the pool tables. Plain and simple. Food is also not great.

Service started out a little slow. But the food more than made up for it. Started with the loaded fries, which were excellent. I had the patty melt and my wife had one of their bowls. Both were equally as good.

Came to Toledo to visit friends! My wife and I enjoyed our night. Delicious and cheap food, reasonably priced drinks, great live music and entertaining games karaoke. Lots of people of all ages and a great atmosphere! Totally enjoyed our time there and will be back!

Great Bar Tender! Clean

First time there. Food was good. Place was crowded and very loud, but then the Grape Smugglers were playing which included my cousin Bernie Greenberg, people were dancing. I had Shredded spicy pork tacos. There were 3 of them good size. Brought one home. Had a regular Margarita in just a regular glass. It was ok, I had better.

One half of the bar is for the younger crowd - theres a stage that has live music and karaoke frequently and lots of tables and a small dance floor. The bar wraps around to another half thats much quieter with fewer tables, a food counter, and pool tables. Something for everyone

Food was great and the deal on the food special for the night was great also. Have been here before in the late evening hours but never before for dinner. I will definitely put it into the dinner rotation with family and friends.

Good selection of different beers to select from unfortunately I didnt have quite the time I would have preferred to have had but the waitresses were all very friendly courteous and expedient.

Bar is great, but the karaoke is awful. The guys main focus is being a DJ and not allowing all the people patiently waiting to sing and have fun. Wouldn’t recommend.

After al long day I showed up shortly after 7pm. I take my coat off... Earlier in the day I made an urgent care visit, I am in the middle of changing doctors and needed my medication or I can have seizures.... I grab a pool table , take my coat off, and go to grab drinks. The bar tender says to me to lean on the bar, Im baffled so I lean in. She says closer, so I do. She says lean in closer, I put my arms on the bar and lean in. She lifts a pair of scissors and cuts off my hospital bracelet, Im in shock. The other bartender says loudly you cant drink here because you were narcanned earlier. Where in the world is this ok? That a waitstaff can touch a customer and make such an assumption, filling in the blanks for what they do not know about a patron? I have come here off and on for over 10 yrs and spend a hundred or more each time. My last visit will be The last. At best...this treatment was very unprofessional.

Cant beat the selection of beer on tap at Bier Stube. This is my favorite bar. My friends all go here and weve become friends with a lot of the people who work here. Karaoke on Friday/Saturday nights is the best part. Im kind of bummed that they changed that up recently. New Years Eve is a fun night here and they always do a big Halloween party. Ive been to other bars that are massive sh*tshows with drunk people and bad service, and it always makes me miss the Stube. Check out the back patio, its a nice place to hang out with the heaters on in the winter.

Lots of beer selection. Quick bar service. Dance floor and 3 pool tables in the back. Good place to party drink beer and shoot pool. Interior isnt an amazing club scene, but its got everything you need.

I lent know why I hear bad things about this place. Every single time Ive come here its been awesome. they are always accommodating and do fun little things every once in a while that keep me coming back. I have never had a bad experience here and will always have it in my top 5 favorite places in toledo.

Great place. It was my fiancee and my first visit. We played pool, listened to good music and ate fried potato skins, pepper jack cheese poppers and enjoyed our date night.

Generally a pretty good beer selection. The crowd can be hit or miss - sometimes it is absolutely packed, others its slow. Karaoke is always torture, but I dont mind watching some drunk people crash and burn from time to time. Prices are okay and there isnt a cover to get in.

This has the best selection of craft beers in Toledo. Over 60 beers on tap! Amazing! If you love draught beers like I do, this is the place for you. Also love the bar its a long bar with plenty of seating. If youre one of those people that likes a seat at a good bar this is a great place. Great for watching a game or just hanging out.

Good beer, decent prices.My issues being:Every god damn time you use a tab they put a $12 hold on your card for like a week and half which is aggravating.And they do not keep enough bar tenders on staff for busy nights, there were 300 people there on a Saturday night and they had like 5 bar tenders, took me 35 minutes to tab out

Best time to go is when all the classmates of the regulars come in for the holidays. This is peak Sylvania. The battle of the uppity northwest Ohio Caucasians is a sight to see. Finally, someone to look down upon the Sylvania stuck ups (I say this as a native).

Service was good, although the place was relatively empty. All of their tables are high tops. Wheelchair bound patrons are not comfortable in that environment.

A lot of beer selections, burgers are awesome but fries were cut thick and not cooked through.

Our group wanted to sit on the back patio, the bartender said they do not take orders or bring food out to you if you sit there. You have to go inside,place order then pick up your order. But,they serve on the front patio. Confusing! Why have that space then. Menu had been shortened also. We took our business down the road.

Good atmosphere. Great waitresses and cooks. Could use a few more taps to their craft beer selection. But they do have plenty of craft beers.

As as bar the place is pretty good. A lot of tap choices, but they need to get better letting you know whats on tap.As a karaoke bar, its meh. Karaoke was supposed to start at ten, but the DJ decided he was going to be the only one doing karaoke until almost 1 am. When he finally opened up the mic, he sent his friend on stage first. He also tried to play some group dance sounds like the wobble, but failed at playing the correct versions (weird remixes) to fix that, he let the incorrect versions play in entirety and then played a 20 minute string of other dance songs like the casper slide. Probably one of the shittier DJs Ive ever seen.

Our servers Tina and Christian were awesome! The drinks were great, and the food was sooo good ! Added bonus was live music!

GREAT beer selection, likely the best in Toledo. They have two walls of draft beer to select from, wide variety of craft beer at very reasonable prices. I love this place simply based on that. The only downside is the customers youre surrounded by, mostly hipsters and loud dense frat brodudes.

My favorite bar to go to. sam is the best and is always so nice to us. definitely a good place to go if you’re looking for a lowkey place that can get busy on weekends. food slaps

I love that you can sit inside or outside. live music sometimes ( not sure of the schedule) corn hole out back. Large selection of draft beers (Strong Bow is a personal favorite).

Terrible. Packed to the limit, standing room only, took forEVER to get a drink at the bar. Bartenders take forever to help you. Overpriced AF. AND they put an extra $10 charge on your card when you start a tab and dont even verbalize that to you before they do it! So never going there again.

Those people are so lovely walked in there with a petition got the incentive I knew I needed to get 70 signatures they helped out it was people going in and grab another people saying come out you got every sign this petition to reclassify felony possession charges as misdemeanors so we dont send a text to prison we sent him a treatment one love them Big Ups

The drinks are kinda pricey here. The food is good for bar food but nothing to write home about. After 8 it can get really packed, so come a little earlier if you want a table.

It was a Monday night when I went so I dont know how it is when its busy but it was a chill atmosphere and the staff was really personable and friendly. Id definitely go again

Very bad night at the Bier Stube. The bartender saw us walk in and continued to wash dishes like for 5 minutes like we wasnt even there. Then as we walked out she started laughing.

Laid back atmosphere, nice pool tables. Euchre night looks fun. Drink specials were good too.

Very large selection of beer. Bartenders are always super nice. Food is always delicious. Music is hit and miss, mostly good.

The bar itself was great fun atmosphere. The karaoke guy was off his game during our visit.

Beer, check. Pool tables, check. Karaoke, double check. All this with a heated smoking patio out back that may or may not have some old dude smoking a joint, youve got about a 50-50 shot. This is the bar where you come to get sloshed and end up puking in the bathroom, or hooking up with someone or thing you will probably regret in the morning. Ages 25-40 this is your bar. Cheers.

Went for karaoke. We had a great time but the audio mix is not so hot and the speakers are way too loud.

Karaoke was annoying. There were tons of people waiting to sing, but the DJ played entire songs between each singer instead.

By far the absolute worst food ever! I ordered chicken chunks and loaded tater tots after an hour of waiting for our food it came out all cold. A waste of $30 for sure.

Always has a great selection of beer. Waiting to get it can be an issue. This place gets real busy at times.

Fighters delight. Went here with my older kids for a night, and I think most drunkies are over served if they so indulge, which is what causes fights. College crowd on steroids.

Large beer selection. However it isnt a clean place. Last time I was there for drinks and dinner the whole place smelled like a urinal, so we left after the first drink.

Tons of domestic and craft beers on tap. The food is awesome-the wings are a favorite....plus they have a great staff.

With a wide selection of beers, friendly staff, excellent bar food and pub games and karaoke most weeknights, the Stube is an area favorite.

Not a classy joint but I believe they do have karaoke every single night. So if that is your scene this is the place to be.
