I went today and had a lovely massage by Brianna! I asked for a lot of pressure because I have not gotten a massage in years and she delivered! I love how concise the consultation was. Super relaxing, definitely go with briana if you need a deep tissue massage!

The sweet massage therapist Diana is amazing. She is really good and just a lovely person. I always feel better after my massage with her. If you ever go ask for her!!!you won’t regret it.

I love being able to get massages every month. Everyone at the front desk is so sweet. Most of the masseuses have been amazing. The only thing I was not a fan of is that they raised the price $15 a month with no warning. Overall I would recommend them as I’ve had a lot of great experiences!

Got a massage for my spouse. Here’s what he said — I would not recommend this location to others, especially anyone lgbt.The massage itself was poor, not thorough, and did not offer the amount of pressure requested. Time was wasted stretching me while clothed even though I advised my pants were too tight for that. The massage therapist spoke inappropriately and with profanity the entire time about her job and gay/lesbian people. I was clearly trying to focus on my breathing but she was too busy talking to do much actual work on me. Forced conversation with a stranger is not relaxing. Waste of money and time.On top of this, she misgendered me as soon as the door closed calling me “girl”. My wife scheduled this massage for me for Father’s Day and advised I am a transgender man so there wouldn’t be any surprises. My profile with them states I am male, and my name is traditionally male. Terrible experience, I am so disappointed and insulted.

Okay so when I called to make my appointment I was unaware when I hung up that they wanted 50 percent of the costs if cancelation of appointment 😞 I was super disappointed when I called back to cancle. But they should have better ways to solve this problem maybe get more information to people thur email policy and agreements. Like most places.

They are so helpful. I had a headache for a week and nothing helped so decided to try them and its been 2 weeks and still no headache. I couldnt be happier with the service. Give it a try you wont be sorry.

My boyfriend and I had a massage there about a week ago. Towards the end my messages started falling asleep. Told the front clerk and she said she would tell the manager. Monday will be a week and still haven’t heard anything from the manager. Guess they don’t care. My boyfriend said his therapist was having muscle cramps so she didn’t do much. But that’s far better than me having to awkwardly wake up the lady working on me.

I have booked massages at different Massage Envy locations with different massage therapists irregularly for the past 10 years, but I first went to Sandra when I started a membership 7 months ago and have not switched to anyone else since. I refuse to because Sandra is that amazing. She is a gem and Massage Envy is lucky to have her. ☺️

Dont waste your money. This was the most unsatisfying massage I have ever had. I couldnt wait for it to be over. I have no idea what kind of technique the masseuse was using, but she was going over the same areas over and over and over which did not feel good, and neglected other areas. Nothing relaxing or beneficial about my 50 min on the table. Wish I could get my money back.

The massage was fantastic! The best I had so far in Tucson.The front desk people are not so friendly and accommodating at first, but after I signed up for membership the girl who took care of me became friendly.I was also interested in the body products they are selling, but there were no samples to actually smell and feel the items.Didnt want to buy something I dont know if I will like.

I had a gift card for a 1.5 hour massage, which I thought covered the entire massage. I ended up paying extra. I’d say more than half the massage was the therapist using massage gun. I’ve never had a massage therapist use a massage gun. Don’t know if this is something new in the industry but what happened to the old fashioned massage with oil. Not to mention, the front desk gal pressuring me to get the monthly package. Will never go to this place again.

Tonight I had my first experience with Massage Envy. Wow is all I can say. So so good. Shout out to Christine my masseuse. She was wonderful. We talked for a few minutes and she listened and executed perfectly. Thank you Christine I literally floated out of their place. Next time well do a full hour.

I will not return to this location as the front desk person is not friendly at all. Not fair either. I dont want to put too many personal details online Im just trying to get the attention of the owner of this franchise location. I wrote and put feedback online for your sites recommendation and I got an email back right away saying since this is a franchised operation I have to deal with the location on my own. Unless I talk to the owner how can I deal with it on my own because the people who are rude arent going to pass that information along. In general i find good therapists and poor front desk people who are the face of the company.

I have had a lot of issues with Massage Envy since they reopened after covid. I live in Los Angeles, but was talked into starting my membership about 4-5 years ago when booking a massage. They are franchisees, so dont try making corporate complaints about innapropriate behavior. They send you straight back to the location, who says they put it in the notes but dont.I called River Road West on October 14th to cancel my membership. The GM, I forgot his name, said I had to call on the day of my renewal on October 31st. Thought that was weird that I couldnt cancel ahead of time, but I set my reminders in my calendar and called.He was out sick and there was no note. I was informed policy was to cancel in writing ten days before, and I would be charged again today. I checked and I was.I TRIED TO CANCEL TWO WEEKS BEFORE. What a scammer. I would like to have good faith, but he was the manager giving me this misinformation....to get one more payment out of me. I know times are tough, but that is theft.

Wonderful first time experience! Taylor at the front desk was very professional, informative and welcoming! Martin was also extremely nice and professional! He listened to me about what my needs were and gave me the mostly heavenly massage experience ever! He did a great job working my stress knots out and my whole body feels great! I left the room feeling so relaxed I decided to get a membership because I definitely need to go back again soon! I would recommend this place to everyone!

I only come in when I can see Nicole. She listens to what I want and makes recommendations as we go. She makes me feel relaxed and I enjoy my massage even when we have to work on the “bad” spots like my neck. She has the ability to keep my mind off of the pain. She is the best.

Ok, so dont ask for Matthew or accept him as your massage therapist. Something is off... I didnt remember my last appointment with Matthew a few years back, and how disappointed I was. Way before I was doing these reviews.I mentioned remembering my last experience to Matthew about Matthew, and he said Have I gotten any better? Im done with these places. I mentioned my experience at the front desk and they said he was the most popular therapist...hmmmI am sure the owner will do right by me in reimbursing my money. But it should be about the experience...and my experience was not a good one. Very Dissatisfied

I had the best massage ever! Liz was very attentive to my trouble areas. She made suggestions but did not push. She was firm yet gentle. She didn’t rush and was very focused. I felt safe and relaxed. I left feeling truly pampered.

Not a place Id return to environment wise. Didnt feel like the service received was anywhere close to worth the money. Definitely not a classy or spa like environment at all. Hadnt been to a message envy before but wouldnt go to one again on the assumption this is the standard environment.

I got a subscription here for $65 a month and I worked with Liz throughout my entire pregnancy. She is amazing. She always makes sure she has the right amount of pressure & she can go from light to firm pressure. Whenever she asks me how I was feeling, she listened closely & really targeted the areas that I needed every time! She’s awesome. The rest of the staff is also super professional & lovely as well.

Justin was wonderful! Explained every step of the facial and I was so relaxed. I was going to cancel my membership due to price increase, but his service will be worth it.Sam is also wonderful! I always leave feeling better and relaxed!

Alfonso is INCREDIBLE! I have been seeing him at least once a month for the past 18 months and the amount of healing he provides during his massages has been amazing to keep me pain free. I highly recommend him and Massage Envy without hesitation!!

Maxine without a doubt gave the best therapeutic massage i have had to date! She did some stretching before she started my massage which seemed to have improved the overall massage session! It is no wonder she is so busy. I will definitely be going back! Thanks Maxine!

The staff at Massage Envy River Road West are incredibly nice and very professional. The customer service has always been excellent. My therapist, Santa Maria, is a miracle worker! It was a rough month as far as stress goes and when I left I felt completely relaxed and I could actually move without pain. Santa Maria is probably the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. She listens and takes time to know you and exactly what you need. I’ve been seeing her for about a year now and I have zero complaints about anything. I always feel so much better after my sessions with her and look forward to the next one.

Waste of money the masseuse didn’t pay attention to anything I asked I paid for a very light back rub far from a massage I won’t be back

Ive been getting massage for decades and usually it takes a few visits to get a great massage out of a great masseuse, this guy really clicked with what I wanted/needed for a super 1st time with him. Great demeanour, skilled provider.

Justin has been doing my facials and other skin care treatments for a few months now and he is AMAZING. He has an incredible attention to detail which is so soothing. He is personable, kind and knowledgeable. I feel like my home skin care routine is much better because of his education.

Alfonso is very professional and experienced therapist. I had a therapeutic and relaxing session. He made sure to address all the issues I was having with pain. It was a great experience. I highly recommend him!

Santa Maria was phenomenal! She’s a petite stick of dynamite who can moderate her pressure across the full spectrum. She was intuitive, took her time to work out a couple of problem spots and was engaging. I’ve finally found my favorite masseuse.

Justin is the best Esthetician! He explains all of the treatments and products he is using and how they will benefit my skin care routine. Very relaxing atmosphere! He even helped me carry my heavy computer bag I didn’t want to leave in my car during my service. I recommend Justin for all of your skin care needs!

When I schedule my last appointment I had 1.5 credits so schedule a facial with an upgrade that would cover that. After my session I am told that my facial was 2 credits and not the 1.5. I am also told that they can’t charge me the additional 1/2 credit but have to charge me a full credit. So your employee Matthew won! Charged me the full credit and now I will never be back. I think that you better have your banking information correct because this seems like an illegal procedure and maybe should be brought up in a class action suit.

Santa Maria was absolutely amazing! She got to all of my areas of tightness and did it with a gentle hand. Certainly made me realize I had knots I didn’t even know would be there

I went to massage envy for the first time yesterday. Lori greeted me as soon as I walked in and made me feel very welcomed. Justin was my esthetician and he gave me a microderm infusion. He was very knowledgeable and very nice. He took his time during the session explained what he was doing step by step and gave me good tips on at home self care that I will be implementing. He was very kind and made me feel very comfortable. I will for sure be going back and I even signed up for a membership. Lori helped me sign up and explained the membership very thoroughly and answered any questions I had. I cant wait to start getting into a skin care regimen.Update! I went again and Diandra did my facialShe was so nice and very knowledgeable. She gave me great tips on my skin and even recommended a good moisturizer for my face. I will definitely be going back every month to get a facial done by her. My skin feel so nice and soft.Another update! Christine is the best when it comes to massages. I go to her every month and I feel so much better when I leave. I like medium/soft pressure and she does it perfectly. Very nice and always makes sure I get my full hour.

I’ve been to all the massage envy’s around Tucson and have always had a pleasant experience. Yesterday I went to the river location and had my first massage with Matthew. He was extremely professional and helped to ease my muscle tension and soreness while also putting me in a peaceful and relaxed mentality. I was amazed by my experience and right away made another appointment for a few weeks from now. I have always gotten deep tissue massages but his hands were the perfect balance of firm but gentle and he had such a healing touch. Might be in love bro. Thanks Matthew!

The staff is always friendly and professional the facility smells wonderful. The other issue that I have with is that they have wonderful massage therapist then the next time you want to use that therapist there no longer there I dont know whether they have a conflict with the company or they just decided to start their own business Ive had three wonderful massage therapist and each time I go back for another one theyre no longer there. But I still love this place they are awesome

I had a great treatment and felt less pain when I left. Im very comfortable with Gabriel and very comfortable in the room. The heated table is a great touch. I booked another appointment with Gabriel this week.

The customer service at the front desk of this ME leaves a bit to be desired. When I went, Saturday August 7 at 5:50pm, I checked in from my car 10 minutes ahead of my appointment. I went inside when there were 2 minutes left. They didnt text me until 4 minutes after. My therapist was waiting for me but they told him NOT to take me because I wasnt checked in. The customer standing at the counter the entire time was his previous client, so they werent waiting on that. The front desk lady was on the phone with a prospective client! Idk why she didnt have any help, but this left her frazzled and unable to provide excellent service. I was disappointed. My therapist, Matthew, was great. I came here because it is closer to my new house and my regular therapist at the Northwest ME is out of town. Im pretty sure I wont be switching locations. I was impressed with the awning over the door and the new handle since I had last been here. Otherwise, I found this location unremarkable. Ive been to multiple locations of ME all over: CA, DE, AZ, TX, and Im sure others I cant remember. The therapists are usually quite good. The front desk staff are trained to behave just like those at a high end spa. Sadly, that didnt happen this time.

Services, 5 stars, check-in check-out, 2.5 to 3 stars.Amber did a fantastic job with my facial, I was very impressed! I think it’s great Massage Envy now offers facial services!!!Christine did great on my massage! She could’ve gone a little harder but that was my fault not saying something. She was very pleasant to chat without. But when I was quiet, she was too which I appreciated! I’ve had massages when the person is more chatty than I am and during a massage it’s nice to have quiet time!☺️I was very disappointed at check in and check out. When my appointments were booked, it was supposed to be a massage at 6:00-7:00pm and a facial from 7:00-8:00pm or vise versa. However, when I arrived I was told my facial will be 6-7 and my massage was from 8-9. When I booked, my appointments, the lady on the phone put me on hold to figure out how to get the appointments consecutively. So instead of my services being split on June 26, I was asked if I could come on July 1 so I can have 6-8. July 1 sounded perfect, I didn’t want to leave and come back. I wasn’t thrilled about that, I had to get in touch with my friend who was watching my son to let her know I’d be 1 hour later.Then it was time to check out. I had a gift card my husband bought me for Christmas. He was told for a massage and facial it would be $75/massage and $55 facial totaling $130. When I booked, I asked how much the services were and I was told $75/each totaling $150. I said ok, (thank you Biden for the inflation!!). So I’m checking out, gave her the gift card from Massage Envy, she added $30 for tip (sorry Amanda and Christine but money is tight!) so that would make the total $180, that’s how I was adding it up. Next thing I know, I was told I was short $100!!!! I was shocked! I had to call my husband at work and he was livid! So he reiterated the above, explaining the $75 and $55. I got off with him and said what he was told in December but that when I booked I was told $75/each.and I would pay that. So the lady at the front has to correct the pricing in the computer which she did without argument. But it bothered me, I was told one thing but that pricing wasn’t in the system?? To me, it sounded like ME was trying to get an extra $100 out of me!Just be careful and make sure you ask as you’re booking what the total will be!

Alfonso is wonderful! He always uses great massage techniques to work out the knots in my neck, shoulders, and back, even finding areas that I didn’t realize had knotted muscles! Whenever I come in with a headache, he finds the source and is able to work it out and relieves me from the pain. He is always professional and communicates well with me during our sessions. I appreciate his work!

Have been a member for years. Very great team here at the River Road location. They treat you excellent like they mean it and not because they have to. Love this place. Deep tissue: Barb, hands down. Brandon is great as well, he really knows his stuff and his technique is on point. Kudos to the front office gals for always having smiles on their faces. Brings joy to me as well.

Matthew was amazing, he was able to target and alleviate pain in my neck and trap muscles in a way that I had never had before, as I hold a lot of tension and stress there. I have chronic pain all over my body and after a massage with Matthew I felt like some of that was alleviated which is a very big deal to me as my job requires a lot of my body, and living with chronic muscle pain is a heavy burden. Matthew’s skillful massage makes me feel like I can take on another work week. Thank you so much!

I had never been with Janae but was desperate for a nice relaxing massage...mild to medium only...I explained the area of my issues. She understood and/or has an inmate sense did not massage my hip or so to speak my lower back but she hit 🎯 the target the Iliac area on the side of my thigh/back area and I felt wonderful 👍👍😊😊 when I left...not to take away from my other favorite therapists they both have a specific talent...

Nicole hit it out of the park again this week. I wanted nothing but back and hamstring work this week. She was able to work all areas that needed attention and definitely made me feel better after. I look forward to her work each week and she is a total professional.Ben G

I never received a text to come in. There was only one person at the desk and she forgot to let me know. My massage only lasted 45 minutes and was 15 minutes late. When I went to check out, she left the counter to help someone else and never asked me about making a future appointment even though I stood at the counter waiting patiently for 5-7 minutes. I finally left. Most of the time, I really like Massage Envy- disappointed this time.

Justin was my Esthetician and he was wonderful! He always let me know what his next step was in the service, where he was and the plan. He had such an amazing touch, he needs to get his hands insured! Haha

I have been getting facials at Massage Envy on River Road for several years. The estheticians are very knowledge and friendly, and the front desk staff is courteous and sincerely care about the clients. I highly recommend Amanda for all types of facials!

Staff is on the ball and on top of things. My appointments have all started on time. All massages have been professional and high quality. It will save you to join the monthly plan. If you need some help stretching, make an appointment with Jon. I knew I was tight but have never experienced assisted stretching. Jon is incredible, I should have tried him sooner. I have been to approximately 60 PT sessions and never have been stretched like this. Try it.

Tina did an amazing job! I have gotten a lot of massages in my life but hers was the most relaxing! I may have fell asleep a few times because she has magic hands. Will definitely request her again.

My visit to Message Envy was a great experince as usual. My therapist Santa Maria did a wonderful job working on my back and shoulders. As she was working she was always checking to make sure pressure was good and telling me if something wasnt right to pleaselet her know. She was professional and caring and always friendly.

I have been seeing Nicole for a few years now. She is awesome and does wonders working all the knots out of my muscles. Especially my legs, hips and lower back. Always a wonderful experience and I highly recommend monthly visits, best me time ever!

Krista is a wonderful therapist. She is very professional and makes you fell comfortable and relaxed. She always knows all the problem areas that need to be worked on to leave you feeling fantastic!Your front desk people are always very friendly and helpful. However, I did notice a problem with a newer person when I was there the other day. There were two of us clients there with the same first name. I was checked in and waiting in the lobby, the other client went up to the desk to check out. Instead of asking the other client her last name, and saying “we have more than one person by that name here at the moment”, she asked her if she was my last name! That is a huge mistake - all that person had to do was say “yes” and she could have put her charges on my account, made future appointments, etc. Front desk people should be trained to ask for names never offer them!

Always seem to have a great Therapist. 😉 Extremely happy with service received from Alfonso and Extremely knowledgeable and exceptional therapist! I felt better throughout the night and this morning after waking up from a restful sleep. Alfonso knows what he is doing.

The office staff are friendly and attentive. My massage therapist is wonderful. She always takes the time to check in with me about what I am expecting for each session and easily accommodates any requests that I make. They give membership discounts for medical/health care professionals, and referral bonuses to members who have friends mention them upon signing up. I highly recommend this location!

Maxine was amazing! I came in for a massage due to an autoimmune flare that had me sore and aching. She started with a hot towel on my neck, found every spot that felt like it needed attention, and left me feeling great. My experience with Maxine has convinced me to become a member so I can see her every month!

I never thought I would prefer a male masses, but Alfonzo is very professional and put me at ease. He knows the right amount of pressure to use and worked out all my knots without hurting me, as others have done in the past. He is truly a n asset worth keeping!

The massage was amazing, but I paid over $100 for a 90 minute massage with aroma therapy. The massage was only 75 minutes. I didnt realize that until I got into my car to leave. The time is not due to my being late as I arrived 30 minutes early but wasnt allowed in until my appointment time. Disappointed

ME on River has been taking care of me for a few years & have never let me down! Always kind & professional. My therapist, Rachel, is always attentive to my specific needs at the time, fun to talk to, with a warm and caring personality and is excellent at explaining the how & why my muscles act the way they do. 12 out of 10 would recommend Rachel & ME on River!

Armando does a great job and makes sure you feel comfortable during your massage. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. I would highly recommend him if looking for a medium pressure massage!!!

Such a wonderful staff, always greeted with a smile and treated with respect! Each therapist has their own way of doing things to custom your experience and have to say my personal favorite is Izzy. She is wonderful and listens to your needs and researches for improvement and new techniques to better help her clients. The ONLY downfall is the charge for same day cancellations. Its messed me up a few times and its exactly a cheap mistake.

I am a traveling nurse and I’ve had massages with massage envy in several different states. I have never fully committed to a single therapist and bi weekly massage, until I met Oscar at Massage Envy River Road. He is always smiling, communicating clearly, practicing incredible technique and making the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I look forward to seeing him just as much as I look forward to de stressing with massage therapy!

Relaxing!!! I had a great experience for my facial. Loved the products used and the facial itself was amazing. My only complaint would be the price of the products I bought. They are definitely overpriced! So sad because I would definitely continue to buy them if they were reasonably priced. Won’t be buying more.

I have never had a prenatal massage, let alone a massage in general ever and I was so happy with how comfortable everyone made me feel. Scarlet was so attentive and friendly. I felt completely at ease with the whole process.

My therapist said the massage process shouldnt be painful, but even after I made several comments/complaints, she didnt seem to know how to apply less pressure to get the job done. A knowledgeable person can adjust to the client. The session was far from relaxing and my muscles are screaming worse than before. Ill stay hydrated today, take pain meds and hope things calm down. Very disappointed.

I had a full body stretch followed by an hour massage.Oscar was very professional and check in with me regularly regarding the pressure or pain level throughout both the stretch and massage. My high rating is for Oscar, I had my massage on 4/29. He moved me out of my comfort zone for a massage. He remained focused on my upper back, shoulders and neck. Some spots were so sore that I held my breath. I am very sore this morning, but its a good sore and I feel more flexible. A lot of us carry our stress in our shoulders and being at a keyboard and computer doesnt help. I highly recommend Oscar.

Deandra has been doing my facials for years. My skin has definitely improved because of her expertise! She is friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional! I highly recommend Deandra!

Such a great customer rep(Matthew) for thinking ahead, calling me and asking if I would like a 90 min massage instead of the 60 min I booked. The fact that he took the time to call and offer that was so appreciated.

The message therapist was knowledgeable and skilled. She was able toutilize several different techniques to bring me pain relief in greater flexibility of movement. Everyone in the office was polite, professional, yet warm and friendly. I highly recommend their monthly massage program as a way to finance kneaded massage therapy at a reduced price

Amber was extremely accommodating when I got the time wrong for my appointment. I really appreciated her working me into her schedule as well as the amazing service I always receive from her for facials and microderm.

The staff is really nice and I had great massages, but when I tried to cancel my contract, they told me I had to wait for this exact date and then phone. When I did, I was told that I had to talk to a manager, but none was in, so they would call me. I waited two days and nobody called. I phoned on a Saturday and they again told me they had no manager and didnt know when one would be in. It has ruined the experience to have this hard core refusal to let me cancel my contract. I will add now that the manager phoned me on Sunday morning and we got my contract cancelled, but in this age of online forms and email, it seems unnecessary to be phoned by a manger in order to cancel. I often cannot answer my phone.

Decent prices of youre a member. Membership is $65/month and you get 1 massage/month. Each additional massages are at a lower rate. The massages are amazing. I had Matthew and I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. Definitely recommend.

Skylar was great. However the front desk was terrible. After my service I waited in line to schedule my next appointment. Rather than assisting me the front desk person decide that she would check out the man behind me. She told me she would check him out and then get to me. I found that to be extremely rude. To dismiss me like I wasnt even waiting there. I was angry and left. I am not going to wait on her to help the person after me then get to me. I am not sure If this is regular business practice. I sure hope not. Its terrible customer service. Her only comment to me was that it would not take long for her to check him out. If thats case I am not sure why he couldnt wait his turn.

Im so glad I tried this Massage Envy. The results of my experience exceeded my expectations. Liz at the reception desk was expert at her duties and showed an added amount of expertise at dealing with the public in her field when a sensitive matter needed to be handled more than appropriately. As for the massage therapy I received, it most certainly benefited not only my body, but my health. I want to go back tomorrow!!!

I have been a member for years. First time having Maxine as a therapist and it was exactly what I needed for my back and leg pain. This was more of a therapeutic massage and stretching than a Swedish or “relaxing” massage. She and I worked together to release the tightness in areas of my back and legs that were causing pain. No sleeping in this massage. I went home and my aches and pains were relieved. Thanks Maxine. See you next time.

Coleen was great. She used the right amount of pressure and worked my tired legs that I didn’t even know were that tired. She worked my hip and lower back just the right amount. I felt very relaxed when done.

Saw Nicole again at River Rd, and she is amazing! I always come out relaxed and ready for my work week. This time I had her add in a foot scrub. Now my feet are closer to being beach ready.

I had an appointment yesterday at 3:15pm for a facial with Kendall. She started 5 minutes late, she then had to asked her questions and so by the time the facial started it was 3:30pm and she finished at 4:00pm. I have had several facials and this was by far the shortest. I was not happy about that at all and I have had much better facials in the past. I will not go to her again. I was very disappointed.

Marty is a very professional massage therapist. He listens to your needs and focuses on you to make sure you are very comfortable. He is a very friendly person. I will always book my appointment with him.

Love my massage therapist, she is tiny but strong! Wish the 90 min massage was a full 90 mins. Seems like my 90 mins are closer to 80. Still worth it though.

My massage was excellent….the girl giving it was tiny but very intuitive about knowing what areas to start with and what amount of pressure to apply for the condition I described to her, I feel so much better!

I dont like the way the sales staff tries to push their services. I have had lots of massages at Gadabout and that is not their M.O. Also it was not communicated with my therapist that I was as there for reflexology, not a massage.

Maxine always adapts the massage to whatever area is causing problems. This week it was a hip problem. Pressure on some areas would hurt a lot but between her skill and my deep breathing we worked out all those painful areas. Im still doing good this morning.

Massage envy is notorious for canceling my massage appointments the day of the massage. They cancel more appointments than they keep, regardless of location and therapist booked. Do not fall for their monthly membership, you will not be able to use it monthly membership for how often they cancel your appointments.

Ive been going to this location for over two years now and there are only two therapists (Ive probably tried >10) that have done a good job. I always ask for the same thing, and so many times my wants are ignored and the therapist does whatever she/he feels like. Ive asked for firm pressure and got someone who just stroked my back for 50 minutes. Ive said I dont want a full body massage and had someone completely ignore that. I once told a therapist I was there specifically for extreme lower back pain and she spent no more than 3 mins on that area. Im going to be changing locations in the hope that that helps. However, reading the other reviews, it doesnt seem likely.

I have been going to Message Envy for over 3 years and have been treated very professionally with all staff members. I dont have any complaints about any of the message therapists. I highly recommend routine messaging for high stress professions that take a toll on your body.

My massage was good. Friendly people. Bad thing is I moved out of state with no message envy and they dogged me out about proving I did, even though I had a 509 area code. They said I had 2 months to use them. I lost 2 free massages. Lost my business whenever Im in town. Really, I paid for that!!

The massage therapists are very skilled and very attentive. I took my wife who very much enjoyed a 90 minute massage. My one glaring complaint is that I attempted to reserve a time on their website, which it encouraged me to do. I submitted the day and time with all of my information and it gave me a message that I should receive contact from the staff. They never contacted me and they never reserved the time. I was told when I arrived that there has been trouble with the website forwarding the information to the location. That needs to be resolved very soon because it put a major damper on our visit when they told me we had to wait an hour longer for an opening. If they fix their website reservations Massage Envy is a 5.

I received terrible customer service from Gerard, the manager of river road massage envy when I called to cancel my membership. He hung up on me, wouldn’t let me talk and just had a terrible experience dealing with him. I have never experienced such rude customer service before.

Ive never received such high pressure sales from a massage place in my life. I am hounded endlessly to sign up for a membership every time I come in. I literally have to say no about 6 times before they will take my payment and let me go. One time, they called to confirm my appointment and asked me to come in 10 minutes early to do some paperwork. When I asked what paperwork, they said they want to let me know about memberships! Unbelievable that they would want me to take 10 minutes of my precious time so they can hound me some more! Another time I had a great massage and was feeling very relaxed and mellow afterwards. That went away the minute I went to pay, as I had to beat them off with stick because they hounded me about a membership. They are driving customers away by the droves with the rude, high pressure sales techniques.

I am LIVID with Massage Envy on RIVER WEST TUCSON AZ I have an appointment every 3 weeks at another location. I went in tonight for my SCHEDULED 8:00 p.m. appointment, only to be set up * in the sense that I was told to undress relax had my head in a pillow for 20 minutes while the guy said he went to go get aromatherapy . He comes back 20 minutes later & cancels it on the spot remember Im almost naked on a warm table with my face planted in a pillow for 20 minutes. I was told I may be charged but they werent sure that I get a call back from a general manager tomorrow sometime . I rescheduled it at my reliable location for this Thursday. I DID NOT CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT, YET THEY CANNOT GIVE ME THE NAME OF THE EMPLOYEE WHO CANCELLED IT. How DARE they speak to me in the condescending way I was just spoken to by the Assistant Manager. And to make matters even worse, when I asked for a Manager, she informed me AGAIN that she was the Assistant Manager. I have spent thousands of dollars at this location over the past few years, I book my appointments a year in advance for every three weeks, but their arrogance has me rethinking this entire situation. I understand Im not either usual clientele .I am a young 30-something mom that decided to take a night off and get a nice massage on her birthday of all days. Boo. No empathy just the boot and very judgey look I got water.

This branch is very unprofessional. I had scheduled an appoinment for a facial, and once I reached there (10mins in advance as I was advised to), the front counter told me the appointment is cancelled - that the professional had called in sick. I was told they were “trying” to message me, and “sorry about that”. I did not receive ANY messages nor emails about the cancellation of my facial. When I initially called in to schedule my facial I was advised to call 24hrs in advance if I needed to cancel or reschedule. Which I did. I had called in and rescheduled my original appointment a day in advance. I guess this was a one way street. I guess asking for that same courtesy is out of the question. There were 3 employees at the front desk doing nothing as the place was completely empty, yet neither of them took the initiave to notify me of the cancellation. I was extremely dissapointed and upset. Came in expecting a lovely facial, but left with nothing but a “sorry”. Such a poor first experience. I would NOT recommend this place.

If you go to Massage Envy, you must request Maxine. She is the best!!! Her energy is in sync and her hands are magical. I look forward to my monthly massage because of her.

ME on River Rd provides a relaxing and therapeutic experience. It is easy to book an appointment and I haven’t had a bad experience post covid. They are very safe and clean.

Introductory hour massage is only 50 minutes, not 60. Be prepared to say no to a membership about ten times before they will take your money and let you leave. The massage itself was OK, not great. Wont be coming back.

Nice staff, clean facility.We are ranchers, lots of long back breaking days. My husband and I have never had a back message. Yet, he was on a lot of pain, so I did not tell him where we were going as I knew he wouldnt have any part of it. Once we got there, it said no firearms, so back out to the truck we went. The only way I got him to go back in was to tell him I had already paid. Inside, they have zin type music, lights turned down and everyone is wearing little booties, so it was a bit uncomfortable. The lady sits down next to my husband with a computer pad and asks all sorts of questions that hes not real excited about answering. He tells her just work on my back and nothing else, lol.So, here we are with cow manure on our boots, work clothes on ( because he thought we were headed to tractor supply) and not liking this whole city, zin, mood lighting, booties thing.... I have to tell you, the message worked! He came out of there feeling a lot better and talked about it for two days! Two weeks later, after lifting up an injured donkey every morning, painting the barn, throwing hay bales... He still feels great!I would recommend having a back message from here.

A 1 hour massage for a non member is $125!!!! That is absurd. You pay this price or are forced to sign a 12 month contract and become a member to recieve a normal price.

Two of us went and hate to say...third time one of us had a lousy expierence. This time, the massage therapist for my friend did not do anything but stroke her back and rub her neck up and down. She could not believe the lack of technique. I think they are overworked. Three times is a charm and we will not be returning no matter how many gift certificates we are given.

Ridiculous I came for an appointment last “checked me in” later she tells me she checked in the wrong person and that there are no massage appointments available but I can book a facial. Drove out here for no reason after relying that I had my appointment saved . Not coming back again they didn’t even offer to schedule another day.

For being 411 Santa Maria gives a very deep massage! I went there to break up some tension in my neck and lower back and she did the job. I went straight to the chiropractor after my massage and got everything put back into place. 👍 The front counter people are slightly annoying and pushy about membership but everyone is friendly and professional. For your first time youll have to fill out information before you see them then the massage therapist will talk to you again before and after the massage taking 10 minutes or of your massage time.
