Rubs Massage Studio - Wilmot

Its not a bad location, pretty convenient, and fairly quiet considering how close it is to traffic. The rooms arent as quiet as I would like (I could clearly hear everyone who came to check in for their appointment and as they were leaving) but my main concern was the quality of the massage. I asked for an upper body focus, and received a full body anyway. The bolster was pointed out to me to place under my ankles (every place else has done this for me since its hard to get it in the right place, under the sheets whilst trying to make yourself comfortable and I know that this is included in training), it was also not placed under my knees when I was turned onto my back, and while I did ask for deep tissue, the therapist seemed really new and lacked a good flow/rhythm.

My masseuse was Corey. Super friendly and did an amazing job. I have always had horrible knots in my back/neck, so his Deep Tissue really helped alleviate the soreness. Will definitely be returning!

Sean did an awesome prenatal massage!Glad I found him so I don’t have to limp my way through the rest of pregnancy.

Wife and I went in today for couples massage, was very excited but turned awkward immediately. We 100% support DEI, however I think this should be something that should be made clear before you walk in the door. My wifes masseuse declared that he was developmentally disabled after she had disrobed and made the appointment very uncomfortable after that proclamation. Now on to my masseuse, after hearing her cell phone chirp several times I looked up and saw her massaging me with 1 hand and texting on her other hand. Not thrilled with this experience.

If you’re physically active and in need of a deep tissue treatment, ask for Sean. He gets it! Perfect pressure taking you to the edge of coming off the table but resolving the problem areas while it’s still relaxing.

A cowardly masseuse by the name of Sean would not give me a much needed massage on my heavily spasmed muscles in my shoulders and upper back because I wanted to wipe my body with a wet towel because I hadnt been able to shower recently due to recently becoming homeless. He made the poor receptionist tell me because he is obviously too much of a coward to be a self righteous jerk to my face. Im guessing if I had just gotten done with a vigorous game of squash Sean would have gladly allowed me the opportunity to give myself a once over but I am not given the same privilege because I am homeless and therefore have less right to maintain my dignity than real people.See U in court Sean and all you owners of RUBS who obviously share his beliefs in class distinction.And good look with your own dignity u cowardly self righteous little creep!!😎✌️

After todays session Im canceling my chiropractor appointment for tomorrow and reevaluating the idea of needing a back surgery and my hip replaced for the second time everything is starting to feel back I have a chance to have everything back in alignment fantastic

I have been having a lot of problems with my shoulders and the left one more so. So I decided to book myself a massage in hopes to help with some relief. As it was the beginning of a staycation, I decided to pamper myself and so the escape. A facial, foot massage and body massage. Ilene did the facial and foot massage. This was my first facial and I certainly know it won’t be the last. What a rejuvenating experience. The foot massage was great. Jared did the body massage and address my left shoulder, which was my biggest problem. This I am so grateful for because I left feeling so much relief in my shoulder. There where definitely bits of little snores as Jared and Ilene made this escape a completely relaxing experience. Thank you!

Rebecca is one of the most professional and customer service oriented employees I have ever met. Truly a valuable asset to rubs at wilmot. Your organization is fortunate to have her and I hope you truly appreciate the work she does. Always a pleasure to see her at the front desk upon arrival. Always cheerful and upbeat. Great job!

I really like my massage therapist, Sean. He’s excellent and focuses on problem areas. However,this location is loud, hollow doors let lobby noise and light into room, and just can’t seem to relax with all that going on. Today the bathrooms were flooded when I arrived 😩. I followed Sean over from the Wrightstown Rubs location which closed suddenly, but this location isn’t helpful for me. Sean is great and does a great job, so I feel bad for leaving a subpar review, but the entire experience is important. This location feels more like a fast food joint than a relaxing massage when you walk in.

Absolutely LOVE this location. Everyone is friendly and professional, immaculately clean, and they have reasonable prices. My regular guy recently left (amazing deep tissue), but they gave me a new therapist who is just as good (but different). Ill definitely be staying with him. The occasional Swedish massage is always relaxing regardless of who provides. Highly recommend.

I was going consistently 2 months before my departure moving across the country. They have the best customer service they call me by name every time I enter and they always make me feel welcome. It will definitely be challenging finding another masseuse other than Tamala because shes done such a great job. Shes courteous and always make sure that I am comfortable, shes personable and will always make sure her customers are satisfied.

Love this place! I go once a month! They paired me with a great therapist that understands my needs perfectly. When I walk in Im greeted by name. The staff is very friendly and they always find a,way to work with my schedule. The reminders are great, I choose to get mine via text. And they even text deals and coupons as well !

Danielle was amazing! I had a full-body massage and I kid-you-not, it was the best massage Ive ever had. It was like she was reading my energy and was hitting all right spots with perfect pressure. Truly exceptional. Too bad I was just in town for a few days; Id be a regular if I lived in Tucson.

Kevyn was recommended to me by a friend and does not disappoint. Im always telling therapists to go deeper, that theres no such thing as pressing too hard, and Kevyn is the only one Ive been to who will work deep enough to really get my muscles to release. Plus he has this magic way of pinpointing and working other muscles that you would never think are related that cause a release in the muscle thats been painful. I leave feeling transformed.

Good and bad.The Good:My best friend was in from out of town. They did a great job of scheduling us both at the same time on the same day. My girlfriend said her massage therapist, Kevin (who is only there on Sundays) was PHENOMENAL! She said he was spiritual and addressed every issue she expressed. She left feeling relieved, less sore and refresh.The Bad:My massage therapist, James, did not address my concerns. He only did intense pressure points, pushing really hard on spots that already hurt. When I asked him to ease up on my neck he said, Yes, Maam then continued to torture me. About half way through the 80-minute massage I was tempted to just get up and be done, but I kept hoping it would get better. He did a good job on my feet and calves, but that was about it. I have never had a BAD massage at Rubs. I really felt that this one was bed. I left feeling more tense and more sore than when I had arrived.Ov

I received a facial from one of the estheticians at this location. First plus is they took me as a walk in without appointment which was very convinient. The level of experience was apparent and she later on shared with me she had been doing that for 8 years. She treated me kindly and professionally. Spoke softly offered a warm blanket. Made sure I was as comfortable as I could be thenmin I was taken back to the room. I have acne prone skin and respected my wishes for target areas always ensuring I knew what step she was preforming and ensuring pressure and pain were not an issue. The massage of my shoulders head and arms was excellent as well. Overall a very pleasant experience definitely recommend. Will be returning for sure.

I left there feeling like a million bucks, best massage I think Ive ever had...no lie. James was incredibly knowledgeable about anatomy and identifying tension spots in my muscles. Will definitely return in a few weeks.

I saw Ashley and she was amazing! She has a lot of knowledge about injury’s and pulled muscles so she really knows which areas to target. I also have Really severe TMJ and she has Done some work on my jaw, face and neck that has relieves so much tension

My BF bought me a Valentines day massage and the girl was a NCNS and the only person available was a student. The massage itself was OK, you could tell he was still a student. They did refund our money. The front desk girls were very nice and apologetic.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! Jared and Mia are my favorites! Jared is wonderful at relieving my migraines and problems with Menieres. Mia makes me relax and takes away my fears of tending to pain from a spinal injury years ago... You just cant go wrong with anyone from this location! I loved my experiences with Anthony too! I scheduled a 90 minute massage for VALENTINES DAY for my girlfriend... We arrived 15 minutes early, and my girlfriend was told Esmeralda was setting up her stuff and would be right out.. After 30 MINUTES of waiting the desk person FINALLY went to check on Esmeralda only to find, SHE WASNT EVEN THERE YET!!! And HER PHONE WAS GOING STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL...They offered a partial refund and a STUDENT massage. I wish to THANK ESMERALDA for ruiningValentines Day gift! I hope whatever kept you out of work, was worth it.

I have been fighting a headache for over a week and was diagnosed with cervicogenic headache. Travis, the massage therapist, took that information and worked on the neck that was triggering the headache. Thank you Rubs for getting me in same day and for the warm welcoming.

Ravee at Wilmot location is the best massage therapist Ive ever experienced. She is extremely knowledgeable and I have confidently referred friends with serious physical limitations to her. They hesitantly went and left raving about the experience. I use to go to whatever therapist was available, but now Ill wait if I have to... Ill only go to Ravee.

You really are not getting a 50 minute massage ,therapist take too long to get back into the room after the initial consult. Price is too expensive for just a 45 minute massage even though the therapist was good.
