Best massage spa in Tyler! Have had numerous massages and not one compares to this one. I found my long term massage therapist and she worked on me flawlessly. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere! Such a fan of a clean spa and the scent when you walk in is refreshing and relaxing. The front desk attendant was so pleasant and calm. Def recommend coming here!

Today was my first time to have a massage at Jessica’s and it was amazing!!! The spa is clean and orderly, and the staff is professional. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. So great!

I purchased at 90 minute deep tissue massage for my husband. He let me know that it was a good massage until the masseuse got on her phone. After his massage was over, he mentioned it to the lady at the front desk, and she informed him that his masseuse was the manager. Its very unprofessional, especially when were paying $145 for this service. We will definitely not go back!UPDATE: The owner reached out and spoke to my husband and apologized for the experience he had. And he assured us that this is not the way they run their business. We understand that things happen, and we appreciate the owner calling us to make it right! We will definitely give them another chance.

I think I have been coming here for almost a few years, and I wont go anywhere else. I like a firm massage, and Angela is amazing. I hope she stays here for a long time because she is a 10 out of 10 every time. Highly recommended. 👌

Not only is Tish super friendly, but she is amazing at her job as well!! I have some medical issues that cause my neck and shoulders to get extremely tense, and it’s very difficult finding someone who can get the deep pressure that I prefer. Had an appointment scheduled that I couldn’t make last minute and was charged $45. Called in that day to reschedule the appointment that same week and the person I spoke with said she would check with the owner to see if it could be applied to my new appointment. When I made it to that appointment, they charged full price for the massage. I called back in to ask about it and they said it was their cancellation policy and they would not be able to issue a refund from the cancelled appointment. So, I way overpaid for a one hour massage, such a disappointment. Guess I won’t be doing business here ever again.

I recently had an amazing massage with Melissa, and it was truly exceptional. Melissas skill and expertise in deep tissue massage are unmatched. She was able to target and release the tension in my muscles with precision and care. The pressure was just right, and I left feeling incredibly relaxed and rejuvenated. The ambiance of the spa was calming, and Melissas professionalism and attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable. Noeli(Neli) was amazing. My shoulders and neck were so tense and painful but I left so relaxed I didn’t even care that my mascara was smudged all over my face. She did an excellent job and was very communicative and I felt confident in her skill and ability.

Crooked people edit: these people gaslit, and stonewalled me when I addressed an issue I had. They said I was being disrespectful when I used the term effing. If you cant respect your students boundaries they might get upset. Needless to say they have turned all of this onto me. They literally have destroyed my property and have been ignoring me. I have been trying to get my belongings and Im certain they are playing these games in order to have my books that were left behind when they decided instead of talking to me, to treat my sincere messages regarding treatment I felt was unfair as some type of personal problem. These are not people who are interested in healing. They want your money or time. You hear all the time about rogues and scammers in this industry. This. Is that.Oh..and one more edit: this posting saying simply crooked people initially, got 3 likes in less than 24 hrs. The African lady they attacked as racist got 16. Im willing to bet not everyone who has had a bad experience with these people has taken time to make a statement. Nor has everyone probably gone through reviews and liked that specific one. The math bears out there are probably more than 16 people who share similar experiences. 🫳🎤

Erica is the best ever! I recommend her 100%. Nice quiet environment. The focus on my problem areas was amazing. The most comfortable face rest I have ever put my face on. I have an appointment in two weeks and can’t wait to go back! Love this place.

I had a great experience with michael I had gotten the Himalayan salt massage he was very thorough and was able to provide me with some much needed relief I was very happy when I left the only complaint that I have is that I didnt schedule more time I definitely will be returning

Me and my wife decided to celebrate our 1 year anniversary with a massage here. We chose students because we wanted 90mins, and I was told that the LMTs don’t do those. I was also assured that the students were just as capable. Honestly, this was easily the worst massage I’ve ever gotten in my life. I’ve had bad massages before and never contemplated stopping the massage in the middle of it until now. I put deep tissue with a pressure of 5 on a scale of 1-5…. The pressure I received was like a small bird rubbing me down even though I asked 3 times for her to go harder. Barely got in between my shoulder blades at all even though I selected “upper back” as my main area of focus other than my sore tricep. On top of that, my masseuse pinched me numerous times when she brought the knuckles of her two hands together trapping skin in between them. Granted, she was only a student which I guess I can say we both learned something today. All I’ll say is be weary if you actually have a need or reason for a massage other than a rub down and choose a student. My wife did enjoy hers though.

Michael was wonderful! The Himalayan salt stones were a great touch. He took time to really address some problem areas while also giving me some good stretches to do to help prevent some of my issues in my shoulder.

Please be advised before reading this is my experience and my opinion.I wish I could give this place zero stars RUN. DO NOT attend this school, everything you heard about this school is true! It is awful. I finished class here in the recent 2023 spring class. I did not continue to start my internship here due to multiple reasons one being, I did NOT learn anything while attending here. The instructor was always leaving to attend the front desk, and you will only see Jessica on the first and last day of school. They only want your money in my opinion and you will NOT learn anything.I dropped out after graduating because after everything that was going on I did not want to continue. so I never completed internship, and was told I needed to pay $400 even though I had not even started! I paid up until internship then put in a LOA in which I was told I still needed to pay, that was the cherry on top for me so I disassociated myself from the program But yet they wanted me to pay the remaining balance of the tuition while not even had been there interning. Supposedly I signed an agreement that said even if I quit I was to still to pay whatever balance I had left from the program even if I am no longer attending. But oddly enough they were wiling to have students pay off tuition by working there and getting “credits” to pay off.. which again is odd especially considering I quit and am still told to pay a program I’m not even affiliated with anymore, which was bizarre to me so students be aware of what you’re signing.In my opinion they will hire literally anybody at the spa, and when they do, they quit within a week! One massage therapist they hired on was teaching our class on a certain “method” because the instructor couldn’t and then quit within days!Also and this is probably the most important to me, even before them extorting me for money. Being a student at Jessica’s massage spa ALLEGEDLY there have been multiple incidents of inappropriate situations that were reported from students that I just did not feel comfortable knowing that I heard with my OWN ears.. I did NOT feel safe there after hearing of what some of my classmates had encountered allegedly But even then I was debating on if it was worth it to continue because I had already invested so much. But in the end it just wasn’t for me. There have been multiple reports sent to TDLR a few of which I know personally even before my class, to where I’m honestly surprised they are still open.I just want to point out me leaving had nothing to do with finances that was just the cherry on top of everything I had endured.In closing I want to say God bless the students that made it through this program because it was truly awful. Do yourself a favor pay the extra money and attend stone of massage or somewhere else trust me, I’m having to start over but it is well worth it. And I pray this school rights it’s wrongs and become better because in the end students are just trying to attend somewhere in the hopes of becoming a great massage therapist. I hope this helps all of you.Update: l received an email response from the staff after posting this review. I am a proud Nigerian Woman and was called racist amongst other insults pertaining to absences I had and supposedly “bad grades” they also told me I needed to seek mental health treatment in regards to posting this review. None of it is true which is why I won’t even bother to explain most of it but I will say in short, I graduated class with one absence, and had a A in the class upon finishing. As I stated above, I just did not start internship. I was the only one with prior experience being an licensed esthetician and esthetic instructor as I stated, this was my experience and I have no reason to lie about it. pictures attached below are just a few proof of my academic progress while in this program. You all have been warned, STAY AWAY!!!

Went today with my mom for our mothers day gifts. My mom had Melissa and said she was amazing and that she would be back for more massages from Melissa. I had Rosie, I would not recommend her. She was the worst massage therapist I have ever had, and Ive had upwards of 30 massages. After the massage I let the receptionist know how bad Rosie was in my massage. He apologized and took off the price of my hot stones. If it werent for how well the receptionist made me feel afterwards I would have probably left fewer stars. The place was quiet and very calming right when you walk in the door. Now that Ive had sometime to let the effects of my massage work through, my back is killing me. 🤬🤬🤬

I had the best experience at Jessicas. I was stoved up and so stiff and thought if an adjustment, rolling on a tube or inverter couldnt get me loosened up then there might be a slim chance a deep tissue massage get me broke in again. I was off point! There were spots and knots I didnt even know existed worked by Melissa. I dont what she used but it got it done and Im probably going to seek a membership. Very greatful for a professional!

We feel they were both able to quickly identify our problem areas. This was by far my favorite deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. Sometimes I feel like other people are afraid to really work those knots but Holly is a total pro! Imagine my shock to learn she is a student!!! I hate that students are not allowed tips. That was literally the only thing I didn’t like.

Let me start by saying, the therapists that work here are amazing, they really work hard and are very knowledgeable, but this review is from a business standpoint. I went in the beginning of March and got their membership. I paid for 3 MONTHS in advance. And I even got the twice a month plan. The last massage I went to just last week, was only an hour and a half, I still had credits I could use, and so it was covered, at first the girl told me it would be 2 credits for that massage. That caught my attention, but I didn’t really say anything cause I was out of it from a great massage. But then later that night, I was thinking, it should have only been a credit and a half... cause that’s what they did for me last time when I got the same massage, the next day I woke up to a pending charge of 54.00, I was like what is going on now, this is very shady, I called Jessica’s when the payment posted to my account, and by that time ANOTHER payment of 54.00 was pending. That’s 108.00 that HAS NO REASON TO BE TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. I told the girl working the phones and she couldn’t find any reason whatsoever why my card was charged TWICE. She told me she’d text the managers and they would get back to me about it the same day. I waited and no one has called me. I had to dispute it with my bank. That’s 108$ I really couldn’t afford to live without, but now I have to. So BE VERY WARY OF GIVING THEM YOUR CARD INFO.!!!!!!!!!!

Update: the second visit with a different therapist was so wonderful that even though I told myself I wasn’t gonna go back no matter how great, I decided to get a membership. Ten minutes with Kacey was better than the hour and half with the first girl. She worked on the catch in my back and made sure she was putting pressure in the right spots. It was wonderful! She recommended stretches I could do to help loosen my back up and worked spots I didn’t even know needed to be loosened up. Highly recommend Kacey bc of the pressure and attention to detail.The setting is very calming, professional and spa like. But the massage was not calming. She talked the whole time, the whole time, and I needed her to focus on a particular part of my back, but she talked so much I couldn’t direct her to where I needed it when I was actually on the table. Based on the only negative reviews I’ve seen, the owner might clap back at me, which that alone would lose my business, but my business is lost based on the fact that the needs were not met during the massage. But for a basic massage it was good, but not worth what I spent.

This is such a late post, but I was pregnant with my second in February of this year and I went to Jessicas Massage Spa because they were recommended to me for prenatal massages. I was past due by a week and half, and the doctors were ready to induce. In a last ditch effort to get my labor started without induction, I went to Jessicas. The massage was so wonderful, and being super pregnant, comfort and relaxation are hard to come by. Im an incredibly shy person, and I felt very comfortable with the atmosphere created at Jessicas. I loved the ease and the rhythm of the place. I was very pleased after I left. But 12 hours after the massage, not only did my labor start, but it was by far so much easier than my first. I labored for 23hrs and pushed for thirty minutes with my first (which isnt the worst in the world, I know. But still... not fun) but with my second, after the massage, my labor went by without any medication at all, lasted only six hours, and I pushed once and my son was born, no tear or harm done to either of us. I definitely credit the massage the day prior a great deal for helping my labor progress so well. Thank you!

My husband and I came for a couples massage and will definitely be back again. Jessica’s is extremely clean, the staff is beyond helpful and nice, and our massages were wonderful! We added on the CBD oil to our massages and didn’t regret it. We also tried out the infrared sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed that too. The spa is decorated really neat as well. Very attractive place.

We had a couples massage, facial and foot treatment with Kasey and Aida this morning and we cannot stop talking about how great of an experience it was. The facility inside was perfect with a relaxing atmosphere and the ladies were exceptional. We are already planning our return visit.

I went based on others reviews. I ended up signing up for a membership after the massage. Stacey did a really good job and I highly recommend her. Personally, I like deep tissue and you pick your the strength on a 1-5 scale. I did the highest and she was perfect. Very good and overall very relaxing.

I had the pleasure of working with Angela today. I came in with so many aches and pains and left feeling so much better. I couldnt even lift my arm above my shoulder before I came in and now I can because she unlocked it. She took the time to listen to what I needed and come up with a plan to hit everything on my list. This is by far the WORST massage experience we have ever had. We get massages regularly and often get massages when we travel too. We thought we would try a new place for our weekend, what a mistake! My massage was managed so poorly that she didn’t work on the areas that I requested and she didn’t have time to work on my front side. I requested that she change her pressure multiple times, but she never did. Her partner was just as unsatisfactory. My husband asked for her to change her pressure and to stay away from a shoulder injury. She couldn’t do either apparently because he could barely move his shoulder the rest of the weekend. He went to an ACTUAL massage therapist the next week to work out the mess they caused. During the massage they talked to each other, ignoring that we were even there. They even started arguing about changing the height of the table while my husband and I were supposed to be in the room changing! It was clear that they had no clue what they were doing and I would be shocked if they were actually licensed. Please please please do NOT ever go there!

My husbend and I went in for a couples massage. It was amazing, we had a glass of wine and was very ready to relax. They were very polite and welcoming at 6:30pm. We were vary pleased, we had Stacy and Cindy give us our massage. We left in a great mood. 😁💆

This was my first time at Jessicas. After reading some of the reviews and the responses from the owner, I wasnt sure that I wanted to go, but I really wanted to use the sauna. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist did not give any information that was needed for a first time client. I had to ask questions regarding my first visit. No biggie, she was busy and I figured that once I got there I would be given the run down! When I walked in I was pleased with how beautiful this place was, but then my opinion changed when I saw that the receptionist was not wearing a mask! I was shocked! Then I saw that some of the therapists were not wearing them either! The receptionist then tried to walk me back to the room, but I had to ask her if there was anything I needed to fil out first. She handed me my paperwork and then proceeded to go turn on the sauna. Paperwork took less than 5 minutes to fill out and then I walked back to the room to get into the sauna. It was nice and warm, but it wasnt until about halfway through the session that it got up to temperature. I fell like half of my time was waiting for it to get hot enough to provide the benefit of the sauna. I dont believe I will be going back!

I love the calm ambiance of this place. I’ve had two massages and enjoyed the hot sauna. The therapists are wonderful! They really helped me feel better. The hot sauna is just a fabulous extra. I definitely will be going regularly now.

Very comfortable atmosphere. Love the wood walls. I had a 90 min with Jenny and she was great. She got rid of all my knots and was very conscientious about getting the pressure just right.

This place is amazing!!!! The second you walk in, to the moment you leave, it has such a warm, cozy and welcoming feel. All of the therapist are great, you can’t go wrong with any of them!!!! My wife works at JMS and loves her job. she comes home relaxed and happy so hands down from me I love it too. The space is very beautiful and everyone here is very nice. Very welcoming place please give them a call to get a massage the therapist are amazing!!

Great place we come twice a year

What a wonderful experience! I am from out of town and needed some stress relief in my neck. Was greeted kindly by the receptionist and felt comfortable right away. Cindy did such a great job with her technique with stretching my neck and shoulders. She even spent extra time to show me some great stretches. Thanks for a relaxing experience.

Nice relaxation massage with focus on problem areas, clean, comfortable, and stylish setting, friendly staff. My only critiques are that from the room I was in, you could hear alot of front desk noise (door opening, talking) and the hot towels were a nice touch but when they got cold, I got a bit cold! Overall would recommend. :)

This place is phenomenal. I know some people could be nervous going to a new Spa, or if it were their first time. Not here. The staff are amazing. They make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. They are knowledgeable and educated on different ways to assist you on the service you need. This isn’t “just” a massage spa, they offer incredible therapeutic massages that help with many ailments you may have. I have a genetic disorder that is similar to ALS, where you experience extreme muscle tightening. With their CBD lotion and great techniques during the massage, it offered relief I hadn’t had in a very long time. My massage was amazing. My therapist was polite, modist, and targeted my primary concerns with great detail. I added on the infrared sauna and literally felt like a weight had been lifted off my body. All employees with whom I had interaction were guest-oriented and friendly. The spa was clean, organized, and decorated in such a way that I felt comfortable and pampered. I highly recommend this spa.

Their salon is definitely one of the best I’ve been in. The aromas our abfab. The massage is one of the best I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of them. It’s one to come and check out for yourselves. They also have a sauna. 😱I know. Its pretty awesome. And Stacy my Therapist is very knowledgeable in massage.

Never in 20 years of routine massage have I ended a session at 30 minutes. This therapist, (Mark) had only performed efflurage (stroking) on my back and began the same poorly coordinated stroke work on my legs. When I asked if he performed petrissage (kneading), he informed me he did not perform it very often as he is more experienced in physical therapy. He stated the massage was scheduled as full body and not as swedish (there is no such standard set at this spa). He further informed me he did not like performing swedish and fluff and buff work. I told him the massage is over. He spoke angrily to me and yelled, What is your background? and I asked him to leave the room. He did. I did not pay. I told the receptionist what occurred and that I would be writing this review.

Me and my wife came in today and everything went as planned! Very clean, respectful staff, and not rushed by any means! My wife had Cindy and I had Beth.... top notch and we will return very soon! Thanks for everything!

Did the couples massage, had a bottle of champagne, chocolates covered strawberries the whole deal. The front desk lady was very pleasant and accommodating. Our massage therapist were exquisite. Best experience I’ve had and a while!!

Stacey dont play. Elbows are sharp , deep, deep massage. My husband was very satisfied and pleased with her professionalism and skills. He suffered from leg cramps and shoulder pain. After his first visit he is on board with a weekly schedule. Thank you to the entire staff they are all awesome,friendly, and care about your health and well being. Stacey even recommended certain vitamins that my husband needed to take.

When you walk through the door it feels relaxing and luxurious. I had an amazing massage with Ida and she really listened to what was wrong and focused on those spots. The infared sauna is really nice as well... I am getting my detox on as I type!

I highly recommend Stacey Singleton at Jessicas Massage Spa. In my experience, all massage therapists are not the same and she is exceptional. She knew within the first few minutes of my first massage exactly where my problem areas were and what needed to be done to remedy them. I have also incorporated many of her helpful tips into my daily routine. I will be back again and again!

Super disappointed! My husband bought two giftcards for my mom and I. I never checked the expiration because I figured it was at least a year. Which is my fault for not checking. I cant go back knowing I gave them $120 of wasted money! Hopefully they start extending the time period of their giftcards!Thank you for the response we will book!

I cant believe an ex-employee was allowed to write such a horrible review. Jessica is one of the best therapists in Texas as far as I am concerned. She tries super hard to make sure her clients are treated right. There is a reason she has been in business longer than most.

We set my pregnant wife for an appointment today because her back has been hurting and as you can imagine her hormones are all over the place. This would have been her first time at Jessica’s Spa. We called the day before and set the appointment and they got email, credit card and sounded like they set it up. When she went up there they apparently never set up the appointment for her...Poor service! What a way to take care of guests as well as new comers. They didn’t even offer a real solution to fix their mistakes! I wouldn’t recommend if this is how they perform business.

I have had many massages at other places and the massage I received at JMS by Cynthia by far is the best one I have ever had! The atmosphere was relaxing and everyone was so nice. This experience exceeded my expectations! I am going to recommend JMS to all my family and friends!

Run away!!!!!! Never step foot inside of this place! My husbands credit card was held “ on file” and charged without ANY Authorization!I was called a thief and petty by the owners husbands. After my husband spent $257 in gift certificates to find out the BOGO gift certificates only have a 30 day window they can be used, and regular gift certificates only have a 90 day window. 🤷🏼‍♀️Since there was not a year to date printed on my gift card how was I supposed to know.Go to a different spa!!!

The Front Desk Staff was very rude: reprimanded the Massage Therapist in public, was very loud, and discussed inappropriate topics. The Spa itself looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months. The therapy work in general was ok, have had better massages at other local spas. The atmosphere of the facility was bad, very unorganized, and lacked professionalism.

In previous experiences at different massage spas I have always felt great during the massage, but I never really felt that any of the effects of the massage persisted to the next day. I felt this way until I received a massage from Stacey at Jessicas Massage Spa. Stacey helped me work out all of the soreness and tightness in my muscles from work, and in her efforts to relieve the tension in my muscles she stumbled upon a muscle that did not want to release in my calf. For years I have had issues with my right lower calf locking up when I would go for runs, and I had just learned to push through the pain because nothing I had tried had helped to prevent it from happening. Once Stacey worked the knots out of my calf and got the muscle to relax, I felt much better. I went for a run the next evening and much to my delight, my calf did not lock up like it had every single time I have ran for the past 6 years! My calf has felt great for every run since then. I definitely recommend Stacey, it was worth every penny!

Worst customer service! Very unprofessional. I booked a facial and as I was arriving, they were closing early and said I wasnt on the schedule and that person had left. They booked me for the next day only to show up with the salon closed AGAIN. I left a message and someone called the next day and left a message that I was scheduled for that evening. They cant seem to keep track of appointments. Wasted my time. I left work early just to get there. They say they are open until 7, both appt. were at 5 and 6:30. Now I know why they arent busy. Kalea spa has my business!
