The rooms I’ve booked have always been very exceptional for the price. Everything has always worked. No “extra” guests. Manager/owner (I believe) very nice. Greeted me with a smile! I’ve never had a bad experience staying with them. I believe if I did, they would satisfactorily accommodate me.
Experience was overly polite and extraordinarily accommodating. The service was more than adequate & I very much enjoyed my stay. Also I have made up my mind in all the motels that I have stayed in that I will be only going to OYO. The rooms were very clean!
I called the 800 number to make a reservation for that night. I received a confirmation email and showed up to claim the reservation. The night person was rude and told me they were overbooked and didnt have a room. I tried to give her my reservation information but she wouldnt take it. I called the 800 number back to try to find out if I could change the location of the reservation since this hotel was full. I was put back through to the automated system. I later received an email stating I didnt show up from a noreply email. How can I show up if they wont honor my reservation? I had to find another hotel last minute.
I was not expecting for the staff at OYO to be as courteous as they were. Everything was very accessable. I am handicap & I had no problem going to & fro. The rooms were nice & clean & room service did a great job with up keeping the room.
We recently stayed at the OYO Hotel in Tyler, Texas while delivering an oversized load with our truck. The experience was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. One standout feature was the truck parking spot, which easily fit our oversized load. Highly recommend this hotel for any truckers passing through Tyler!
The desk clerk (manager operator?) appears to be Indian yet was being super aggressive and racist and insisting that I wasn’t “around here” “where am I from?” “What country am I from” and asking me all sort of invasive personal questions. Insane and ironic given he’s a recent immigrant. Getting super aggressive about me not smoking (I’m not a smoker. I have asthma).Television was broken. Refrigerator and microwave was nasty as hell. Put my head on the pillow and roaches crawled on my head. No do not disturbed placards. So morning came and the housekeeping staff tried to barge into room without knocking. Had locked on but they saw me exposed. Whole courtyard and pool was trashed and disgusting.
This hotel is ok, but staff lady manager has failed in her people skills. The call center was good when you set reservations, but apparently the manager at hotel has the final say who can stay and not stay. Because this one like she is, I will NEVER stay at another oyo. Prices were good for what you get, but like I said, this place needs a new manager.
Good hotel. Booking was easy to do over the phone and the staff was friendly. And the room was clean and comfortable. Will be booking again when I am in Tyler.
The rooms are so roomy and comfortable, the beds are like sleeping on a cloud they are just perfect , I have a bad back ,the are so comfortable i had such a blissful sleep the fresh air Wow ! Im from Cali I’m use to seeing our air lol ,the location is so close to the forest that’s what makes it so spectacular , see is great had me in my room in minutes , after a long 24 hr drive to beautiful Tyler Texas .
OYO Hotel Tyler LindaleBooking a room was very helpful and checking in was easy I had a t.v.issue they got right on it and met my needs.OYO Hotel Tyler Lindale staff professional and compassionate.
It was the worse experience, its against the law if you have a service dog and they denied service bc of allergies allegation in the front desktop guys was kind but Nayna the house keeping was so rude and unrepfull she scream at me infrot of my daughter and didnt want to give me any clean leaning as the one in the room where so dirty I will never book again. She is a rude person and does not respect you.
Staff was nice upon check in. However, thats where the positive stops. My room had a roach infestation I didnt realize until the second day I was there. I run a business and had some of my products in the room. Ive had to put all those items into a quarantine to assess the items for bugs. No acceptable in my line of work. Unlike this establishment...I actually care if I sell someone a product with bugs. It would literally destroy my business. If youre looking for a cheap trap hotel...this is your spot. If youre traveling for business, stay somewhere else. This place is very run down and has that hourly hotel vibe. Also my room and bathroom had an absolutely horrible mildew smell.
Friendly welcome. Great place to go if you need a break or somewheres to relax. Rooms are worth the money.
Great customer service and the rooms are clean and nice. Highly recommended if youre in this part of town
It was cheap but the room was clean, comfortable and everyone was super nice. Clean up the clutter in the office area and you have a nice cheap place to stay.
Very friendly and reasonable. Location was handy abd very quiet atmosphere. Would definitely rent again.
Room was Nasty, smelled horrible, knats and flies in the room, sheets and blankets stained, furniture stained, furniture broken, bad service, worst room I’ve ever seen. Nothing good about this room at all. HORRIBLE !!!!!!!
Not far from the highway , a truck driver that needed a good night rest, it was quiet and securePlenty of semi and trailer paved parking
Ive lived at this hotel 8 months and I really dont have anything bad to say about my stay here. The staff is very professional and polite. Their are also surveillance cameras on every floor and even facing the parking lot so I feel safe leaving early in the morning for work and going to my room.
The whole place is extremely outdated. They state that they have a continental breakfast, but their dining room is full of junk. The bedrooms were fine. Still definitely outdated but our family was fine with that. The lady that checked us in was so sweet. She was definitely overwhelmed with 9 of us standing there but she was doing the best she could. The front desk receptionist was definitely the highlight of the stay. She made sure we were taken care of from check in to check out. I’m not sure if we will be back but she would be the reason why we do!
I was bitten on my back and leg by bedbugs that were in my bed. I was there for 2 hours... after being constantly bitten in the same area I got up and moved back a pillow and there was a bedbug crawling on the edge of the pillowcase... I was also being bitten on the ankle so I pulled back the red sash across the foot of the bed and there was another visible bedbug just crawling under the sash. I went to report the incident to the worker and he accused me of bringing the bedbugs with me. I asked for a refund and he refused. He offered me another room after stating that i was in the best room on the property. I assured him that if thst was the best room then I didnt want to see another one. Once again i asked for a refund. After a small argument and me begging him to come see for himself, he came and looked and saw the problem and promised me a $50 refund.. I paid $53.12 on-line... Im still waiting for my refund. I have pics and a video and bites on my back and ankle of proof of the pests. I have stayed there many times before but i wont be returning until I know that they have burned bedding and treated furniture for pests such as bedbugs.
This is my favorite hotel in Tyler. Worth the money, always clean and smells great!
Ive been at this hotel multiple times in the past and I can say that I never really had many issues and never felt uncomfortable. Staff is polite and rooms are decent. Best deal in the area for sure
Enjoyed the stay. Staff fast and friendly. Most dependently recommend staying here. convent location good prices excellent service.
It was a great stay. I love it here
Staff is really nice, love that the location has a laundry room. Cozy, comfy room; some contain a couch, coffee tables, desks, and two mini fridges. Very reasonably priced!
There is no lobby, just a window with a lady and a telephone for communication. I had to give a credit card and she took a deposit of $50.00 even though we had already paid for the room. She said it was because people had been trashing her rooms. Well, when we entered the room, it looked like it had already been trashed. It smelled. The carpet was dirty. The furniture was literally falling apart. We didnt want to sleep in the bed. We went to Walmart and bought a couple of sleeping bags, pillows and pillow cases and slept in those. My wife also bought some air freshener and sprayed that around. We will never stay at another OYO if this is an example of what they are like. One positive note: the air conditioner was cold. And the television worked. I guess thats two positive things. So I give them 2 stars. We didnt have to stay outdoors.
Price-quality the best I ever met, every day cleaning, kind stuff, and conveniently located laundry.
They refuse Service Animals & Disabled Veterans. My husband has a brain injury from being at war while overseas. We drove 9 hours after booking this location 2 weeks in advance with the description of the hotel allowing service animals. When we got to the location to check in, we were told no because of possible allergies.Refusing of service animals is against the law.
Front desk very kind room was great no complaints 😀
I believe my comment is being deleted I have wrote this message a lot of times this being the 4th attempt but this hotel is one of the worst motels to stay in second to the Tyler in and that one I wouldn’t let an animal stay there let alone a human.
This place is down right disgusting. My first room had cockroaches on the walls and trash on the night stand. The second room had that yellow runny lines of smoke stains from years of smoking and found a claw hair clip on the shower curtain rail. Its obvious these rooms are not cleaned properly or to any sort of consistent standard. I will definitely never stay here again.
Was trying to get a cheap room for the night. Made a reservation and got there no one was there, called three times, knocked ,ranged hand door bell. Nothing. Customer service did nothing but transfer me to the front office over and over. They didnt even want to compensate or help. Hope they go bankrupt if they have any money.
Just spent 4 nights here cause my semi was broke down. Never again. No maid service to change sheets an bring fresh towels. Then woman at checkout got snippy because there was trash in my room. Ac broke on first night so they brought a fan in never fixed it. I requested clean towels didnt get them. The guy when I checked in was nice. Pictures on the website dont match the hotel. Cheap price now I see why. Coffee maker wasnt cleaned hotel is not kept up front lobby is blocked off because they use it for storage
The OyO is managed by a great family .Who works to make you comfortable and keeps the property clean and noise free. The gardening and grounds keep the place a warm feeling and I feel safe going to and from my room . I would stay here Everytime I visit Tyler ,Tx.
Bad service 👎I made a reservation, arrived at the hotel and they canceled it, yet they refused to return the money to my card, the guy who helped me is arrogant
OYO Hotel Tyler Lindale has the WORST night manager or owner!!This hotel is running scams or fraudulent.Public Announcement: DO NOT STAY HERE or WASTE YOUR TIME!!My interaction with this hotel: booked this hotel while driving through Texas very early morning. Got exhausted and needed a quick and in expensive hotel to stay the night to sleep. Advertised on Hotels.com that they allow check-in until 5:00 AM for the day before. I arrived within 35 minutes from booking.Upon arriving you have to check-in at the nightly window. There was no representative, but a note to press a doorbell and use the phone to reach someone in the office. Quickly as I rang the doorbell the phone rang. Spoke with what seemed like the manager or owner. They were not happy to be assisting and stated I had no reservation. I informed that it was made just over 40 minutes ago from Hotels.com. She reluctantly said, ‘Okay.’ And came out from a room in the lobby. The next thing that occurred was sketchy she wanted me to fill out a reservation card and pay for the entire night in cash along with a $50 incident deposit. I was taking by her requested and showed her my reservation confirmation from Hotels.com. She still insisted that I needed to have cash for a deposit. I asked her do you have an option to take cards. She didn’t answer the question and instead on cash.My fiancé is in the vehicle and I quickly discussed what was happening with him, and when I turn around to speak with the nightly manager. She responded, ‘ I have right to refuse service.’ Closed the nightly window, turned the lights off, and walked away. Conclusion: I’ve requested a refund from Hotels.com, but they said that we didn’t show up for our reservation since that’s what the Hotel informed them. We’re fighting the hotels claim, but this is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever experienced; and I’ve stayed in many hotels from all different price ranges through the U.S and Mexico. This was by far the worst!! If I could give NO STARS I wouldn’t hesitate.P.S. We did drive to the Motel 6 right across the street to rest our heads that night. Nick the owner was an Angel. Read that review to know more.
This was the worst hotel Ive ever been to. The room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The rooms were no smoking rooms but the loud people next to us were smoking. There were blood stains on the carpet and the chair by the desk. The bathroom was not cleaned because there was hair and dried pee on the toilet seat. Small stains on the bedding wasnt a big issue but my husband checked under the mattress as well for bed bugs. None that he saw... the worst thing of all: there was a live mouse in the room. We grabbed our bags, spoke to the night person, told him about the mouse and he just shrugged his shoulders and made a face as if to say, darn you saw it. Never will I ever recommend this hotel or even consider staying at one in the future.
Some reviews from this place are greatly exaggerated.I booked this place (Room 228) for 3 nights due to being close to work.I quickly realized that this motel had seen its better days.My bathrooms toilet seat had PISS on it (NO JOKE).The shower facets needed repair. Not to mention that I was awakened past midnight by bedbug bites. I could go on and on. The bed sheets were never changed while I was there.Oh, I forgot to mention the $50 Dollar deposit! Never Again.
Beware I was charged five times at this location for one night and tried to call this location cannot get any answer still have not got this resolved
Excellent room , ac was cold and room was clean !!
They didnt tell me there was a $50 CASH payment upfront when I booked it. I didnt have cash only a credit card, so she wouldnt let ne stay. I had to get a room at a different motel. I needed it for 4 nights. She said I had to cancel online because that is how it was booked. Then they refused to refund my card because I had to cancel before 11 am on the day of, but I didnt book it until after 1:00 day of.Long story short I was charged $224 for a room in a motel that refused to give me a room! I am beyond mad and will never stay at another OYO! Which has made a LOT of money from me in the past. Now I have to jump through hoops with my credit card company to dispute this!
I have seizures and I finally got my service dog back and when I pulled in the parking lot today just getting back from church the manager proceeded to walk up to my car before I had even fully parked and started yelling at me and cussing me out without even giving me a chance to explain and then proceeded to threaten to kick me out. I found this very unprofessional and extremely rude and I am very offended by the way the situation was handled.
Dirty room. Sketchy unsafe hotel. Not even a cup of coffee. There was hair in the bathtub and stains on the floor furniture and holes in the wall. There was no breakfast as mentioned on the website and the lobby was locked the entire time , not even a cup of coffee was provided. This is an area known for drug use and partying , which I could see and hear from my room at the neighboring hotel .When you check in at the window check out the entire wall of pictures on the left of who they won’t rent to due to scams and crimes … that’ll make you feel safe!I was nervous to park my car for the night .The hotel exterior was well lit but mattresses and old furniture and toilets were stacked outside the exterior .Male manager was nice . Woman manager in the morning was not accommodating.Still this place is cheap , all I really wanted was a/c while my homes a/c is repaired , it’s summer in texas . The a/c worked.
The $50 deposit was a bit of a surprise, as it was never mentioned when I booked or even when I called to verify my stay, but it was really no big deal and was returned at the end of our stay. The room was actually surprisingly nice and very clean. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
So my wife needed a place to stay for just a few days and after staying in the same brand of hotel in many other states I figured why not. Well it was definitely a mistake to say the least. The pictures are of some other hotel because the king size room we got is nothing like any of the pictures. Now I’m not saying that the room was horrible just not like the pictures they show. Room was clean but bed was not comfortable at all soda machine doesn’t work and the free breakfast isn’t there at all.
It was very inexpensive, which is what I wanted. But this is what $37 a night gets you in East Texas. Ive stayed in cheap motels all over the country, but this one definitely wins the award for sketchy. There is no surface (horizontal or vertical) that does not have some sort of unidentifiable stain on it. It looks like the maid started to clean it, but was bludgeoned to death with a toaster oven before she was able to finish. There is a brand new, complimentary, sealed bar of soap on the dirty sink that is covered with toothpaste and hair. Every wall has scrapes and holes. The sheets have brown stains. I am sleeping on the top sheet with my t-shirt over the pillow case. I was afraid to open the mini fridge, but the shower looks like it would actually get me dirtier if I was to use it. The carpet has ground in bubble gum and crumbs everywhere. It smells of stale cigarette smoke and bad decisions. I can tell that many, horrible, awful, unspeakable things have happened here. Glad Im only staying tonight.
The lobby never opened the entire time. There is no breakfast or coffee as the website mentions. The grounds around the building are unkempt. Requested a nonsmoking room but full of smoke from neighbors. Check in - you cant go in and speak to anyone and the part in the outside window is duct-taped closed so you cannot hear or ask anything. Room was clean, but lots of damage to walls and ceilings - needed maintence. Considering there are 5 or more notels/hotels close by- I should have researched more. They do not have the amenities listed on their website.i would not recommend and will.update Expedia that the information was incorrect about the facility.
Great price, but it was disgusting and smelled like cigarettes and body odor within the motel room. Also the fat lady(idk her name) that works nights is horribly rude and made me feel very violated. I will be filling against her.
Front desk extremely rude. I’ve stayed here many times without having to pay a deposit. Terrible service. Didn’t even have the decency to wear shoes. Get feet looked awful and was representative of the bad rooms. Smelled horrible and roaches everywhere
Worst costumer service. Kept my deposit over an absolute lie. Roaches in every room. The water barely gets hot at all. Both front desk attendees are lazy as could be. Finally the manager is absolutely 100% on methanfedamines. I would recommend you slept in your car with no heat electricity water or any other amenities than stay at the disgrace for a hotel which just so happens to be what I did. All together absolute worst motel experience Ive ever had.
Where dop I begin. I let them know before hand i have a dog and he is a service dog. And then before leaving the owner starts grilling me in parking lot about my service animal and proceded to tell me service dogs are not allowed. No dogs are allowed period. She does not care what kind of service dog he is. (Which mine has legit paperwork) which i have no problem showing. (Even tho they are not allowed to ask 4 it) anyways she tried to charge my card $50 several times roday but i have my card shut down for that reason!. So she not only told me service animals are not allowed but tried to steal from me. Then in all the kaos with packing up room and leaving i left my keys in the room. And they will not give them back. I know i left them in the room i even called a couple days later and the day lady said they were there. But the owner refuses to give them up. So now its costing me a b7nch!!!!! And for them to break the law and say no service dogs!!!! Pretty messed up
Really disappointed 😞Arrived wasnt gretted, no one was in the front desk. When she returned was very rude. Lady took my ID and debit and wanted me to give her my pin, hmm nope. So I decided to cancel. No breakfast included as stated online. No pool available as stated, says there waiting for parts. Location seem very dirty, and unsanitary.
Dillip is a front desk receptionist that made me get carried away with a great conversation and he made me feel very welcome. I appreciate when cheap places like this have great and cheerful employees working for it. Its a nice surprise
I haven’t stayed in a two-star hotel for a long time now. Check-in pricess was the worst. Took 25 mins for two of us to check in. The room is old, tub yellow (but seemed clean enough). My toilet didn’t work but they came to fix it quickly, then it broke again. The bed was comfortable, at least. Remote batteries were dead and TV took awhile to work. Someone hammered at 6 a.m. for 30 mins so that was noisy. Said there was a breakfast online, but there wasn’t. Ok for a one-night stay, but wouldn’t stay here again.
Great for the price! Comfortable..Could have been better if they would wash or replace shower curtain and shampoo carpet.Stayed 4 nights after getting stranded due to car issues. It was worth the price.Management was helpful and professional...Returning tomorrow for two nights due to a funeral in the area...
I stayed here in room 102. Yes I had a coffee pot but no coffee or creamers, there were no soaps or shampoo. The room was in desperate need of maintenance, furniture was obviously worn, counter top for the sink was broken and missing large section. The worse part was when I opened the dresser drawer I found a crack pipe, when the office gal came in she only said sorry but they cant keep people from doing it in their room. I said I didnt feel comfortable being in the room she said if Im going to leave I had to do it right then no offer of changing rooms or even having housekeeping come in to reclean the room. Im a truck driver with my truck in the shop and no other hotel had shuttle services running so I was stuck over the weekend
This was one of our stops on a 5-city US trip and it was wonderful. I had never stayed in a boutique hotel and it was certainly for me! The service was top of the line, people were super helpful and friendly. The hotel was close to many different restaurants including a eclectic cereal bar and a really tasty foods. It is also down the road from the hop-on hop-off, which is also recommended.
This is the first time I have ever left a bad review but this place is horrible. We read some of the reviews before reserving a room and after getting the room there is absolutely no way this place would get a good review. You will never stay in a more disgusting place. I honestly believe that house keeping came in and only made the beds. Nothing was clean. Boogers all over the walls. Sheets and covers definitely were not changed. Dirty with dirt between the sheets and fresh stains all over. Both beds have huge holes in the sheets and covers. Pillows are yellow. Only one light works out of 4. Coffee machine with no coffee or coffee pot. Guess someone took it. Giant roaches. Took the loss and left
The room was clean & spacious. Unfortunately, the woman that owns the place was rude & obnoxious and would not honor the online price I booked! She also was upset about the night clerk giving me one of the good rooms (as she put it) bcuz I have a dog! Which was an extra $15. Very unprofessional owner. And the free breakfast was little Debbie snack cakes cut into little squares, cereal thats very old & tasted like the plastic containers it was in! Go to the 2 story OYO across the street! Those people are nice!
I paid for my room over the phone with my card (48$) and wasn’t told there was a 50$ deposit till I checked in that was suppose to be returned when I checked out and so the 48$ room turned into a 98$ room since my deposit was never returned……All my wife and I did was go inside and sleep for a few hours and leave and did not even use the shower or anything provided in the room………. So if you think “ hey this 48 dollar room is great” , it’s really a 98 dollar room and it’s not worth it!!!!!!!
Very decent people. Nice pricing. Nice shower massager for your back. Peace and quiet. Always love staying here
Freaking horrible. Had mold on the ceiling and all in the shower. My family and I didnt even stay. Told them we were leaving. They said wed get our refund and two weeks later still nothing. Beyond livid with the situation. Dont recommend the place for my worst enemy!
This is indeed an older hotel from the looks you might run away, but the rooms are clean the staff is friendly. It was quiet and comfortable.Best value Ive had on my road trip over the first October weekend. And best price in the area for what you get for sure. I come to the area once a mouth and well be staying again.Thank you for the plesent stay.Patrick
Do NOT stay here! This place is terrible. The photos on Expedia are very misleading. My family booked 6 rooms here. None of them looked like the photos, and one of them had bed bugs upon inspection. Its very hard to get a refund from these people, and I hate to say it, but the owners seem very prejudice against black people. There are much better comparably priced rooms within 1/4 mile, Twelve Oaks and even the Motel 6 across the street outpace this place by miles.
Stayed here for three nights and loved every minute from the gracious welcome with champagne drink to the final warm goodbye; this was a truly wonderful hotel experience. The beautiful interior of the hotel gives you the first hint this is a little special and this feeling increased as the days wore on. The staff without exception was excellent; full of warmth and helpfulness..
My husband and I spent 4 nights here in early December and what a great choice of accommodation it was. The location was in walking distance of the bus station and though in rather a hidden location easy enough to find. The reception staff was first class and we were made to feel very welcome. Only bed and breakfast was available but that suited us fine as there were numerous restaurants in the area and a shop for the odd snack just over the road.
Do not expect what the pictures portray. I’ve stayed in a few different rooms here and not one has matched the pictures shown. Outdated, dingy, not every microwave or fridge works, and a faint smell of cigarette smoke in every non smoking room. Never had a problem checking, but there were mysterious characters walking around and one knocking on doors.
HORRIBLE!!!! The AC filter was covered in dust and dirt, the room smelt like mold, the outside smelt like weed, and it took me plus my two friends throwing ourselves against the door to open it. We there went straight to the front desk after only being in the room for 5 Minutes to inform the desk about the room being in a horrible state. We took the AC filters with us to show proof, the man at the desk was horrible and said “they are standing here with the filters so I’m just giving them their money back.” The maintenance man came up to us, looked at the filters and showed us a new room that wasn’t as bad but still nasty. He then informed us that only THREE rooms look like the ones in the photo and clearly to me that means no one stays in there because we didn’t get to look at them. That man was BEYOND NICE and apologized for everything and said what was found shouldn’t have been found. The man up front was cussing about everything, saying he doesn’t get Paid enough to deal with all the stuff he was dealing with and was going to quit. Another man walked in as we were getting our refund stating his room smelt like weed and he wanted a single bed not a a double bed. We informed him when we were leaving that we were moving to a new hotel so he should do the same, as well as telling a mom with two young kids who was someone for them to check in.The photos that are listed are NOT THE HOTEL!
This hotel is run by thieves. When I tried to check in, I had to wait in line behind 3 other parties with complaints. Bed begs were a nice bonus in the poorly lit room, though. Hotels.com isnt the issue with this hotel- this hotel is the issue with hotels.com. Youre better off giving a random person walking by $55 and maybe that person would accommodate you.The Rose City Inn is at the same intersection, and its a billion times better.
Clean and affordable. The least expensive motel in Tyler for what you get. They will not let you pay by the week at a cheaper price. Set price but most affordable for what you get. The owner is very nice when most are NOT in that area . I have never personally stayed there but my friend lives out of town and is in Tyler working and staying there . Its an older motel but if you want to save money and have clean room then its good.
Best price was hands-down the worst experience I have ever had with a motel. The office staff was very rude and inconsiderate. The ATM machine did not work nor did the snack machines are soda machines. I would not recommend you staying at this place ever. Constant drug use and loud music all through the night visual from your room. Definitely not a place to bring your family. The breakfast was absolutely horrible and being handled without gloves.
Checked in was ok, the room was clean and the bathroom too. However, after 3 nights i noticed something moving and to my disappointment it was a bedbug and i found another one in the bathroom. This just made me mad, had to throw away the few clothes i had. I talked to the management and they refunded me my money. To my suprise this room (room 228), someone had complained about the bugs, unfortunately i had to be the one to confirm this.
The hotel was a short distance from the Real and the Central. Breakfast was great with cold cuts, fruit, and wonderful pastries, all kinds of coffee/tea, cheese and scrambled eggs. The kitchen is open anytime for coffee and other drinks which are all free. Around 3-4pm they put out sandwiches and pastries to snack on. The people at the desk are very helpful and will recommend great restaurants. They will also call to obtain tickets you may need. The room was charming..
The front desk staff and house keeping staff was wonderful. Our room was clean and the room was really nice. Me and my wife will come again to this motel and we highly recommend this motel.
Room was clean, nice and cool, bed comfortable, nice shower with soap-shampoo and conditioner despencers, quiet. Great Stay! great sitting area with flat screan TV. Fridge and microwave. Always stay here when in this area.Stay here when I have meeting in Jacksonville. much cheeper.
I had to check out of the motel on 2/27 because I couldnt take a shower BC it had old water clogged up in the tub..I had ask for a refund back then my wallet went missing. Called front desk her name was Tonya or Tammy. A skinny rude as white woman with black hair got mad hung up in my face talking bout she have to deal with lots of customer I wasnt special. I told he yes I am she said I doubt it and I wish that glass wasnt there I would have blessed her. But this company needs a health inspection and new staff thats wants to work
STAY AWAY. Fridge didnt work had to clean up my sons ice cream with a towel. Got charged $20 for that. Then they kept my $50 deposit the last time we stayed in Christmas because there was too much trash. It was wrapping paper and boxes from opening presents. Everything was gathered and put in trash bags and boxes stacked. When asked about it I got yelled at by them. I said show me proof it was bad and they couldnt. Stay away they are liars and thieves.
This was absolutely one of the worst experiences ever. The door was broken, there were stray animals walking around, sketchy people standing outside staring at me and my truck as I drove by, and dilapidated cars on blocks and flat tires residing in the parking lot. I told my girlfriend I didn’t not feel safe staying here and neither did she. We ate the money I spent on the room and went to a different hotel. The clerk at the La Quinta Inn was awesome and informed me that the area the OYO was in is called “The Four Corners”. Dear God it has a name? I didn’t even ask how or why it had a name. I didn’t care to know. Think twice before you stay at a place just because it’s cheap. The photos on the site did NOT match the way this hotel looked. It was like something out of a horror movie but instead of staying, we did the smart thing and went somewhere else.
The reviews talking about small rooms must have gone with a cheap room option. We booked a junior suite for the Tyler portion of our honeymoon and the room was both massive and gorgeous. The terrace area off our room was a highlight. The roof deck and place was simple but had a great view.
The room is spacious but they wouldnt honor the online price with the 50$ deposit it was $337 for a week. Not bad considering it was upstairs only problem I had was the carpet someone must have had a dog cuz flesh but me periodically if I was standing still staff were easy to deal with n respectable all in all good hotel.
There should be a negative sign in front of the star rating! This company is greedy and dishonest! The customers service is poor at best. There truly needs to be a warning sign in the description of this hotel. They will take as much of your money as they can. There should be a federal investigation into the business dealing of this establishment! It is THAT BAD!
1) Rooms were not as advised, they were dated and dirty2) Both rooms we viewed were musty smelling and the A/C filters were full. (Obviously had not been cleared in 6mos or more)3) Check in staff was awful and rude (Maintenance man was very nice)4) Check in staff spoke poorly of his boss/management5) The pool was GREENWOULD NOT RECCOMENDThis motel was filthy!
We were in town visiting our daughter who is going to school in Tyler. This was the perfect location, so close to sites. Easy walk to restaurants. We enjoyed breakfast and tea. Loved being able to grab water and other beverages any time of day. Our daughter visited us during our stay and enjoyed feeling a bit spoiled during our stay. We got in late so arranged for the hotel to get us a car from the airport.
Room & front desk are 4 star. That being said, its too bad housekeeping doesnt know what Do Not Disturb means, because I was woken up @ 9:30am for towels & again@10:30am even though website says check out is before 12pm.Also, they take $100 deposit...but they wont let you take the frozen biscuits&waffles to your room & charges for each item if you do....so I walked next door to Dennys.
I am currently staying here. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are fantastic, and for the most part the staff are friendly. Except the housekeeping staff. I have told him not to stop and he flipped out on me telling me to not ask for towels again.
DO NOT STAY HERE! Yes, the price is cheap but you definitely get what you pay for here. Blood stained sheets, stained pillows and clogged sinks are just some of the things youll experience here. Not to mention, the extra friendly neighbor lady who entertains truck drivers in her corner room. Complete with a note on her window with a heart that says Come In.
The OYO Hotel (formally known as Ameticas best hotel) is under New Management and Ownership). The management & Staff are friendly & accomadating. Did I forget to mention PET Friendly.🐕. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is always HOT water for that after work shower or soak in the tube. Great value for your Money!!They offer a light breakfast 7 days a week. There is also laundry room with a coke and snack machine. The Grounds are clean and maintained, with plenty of light and Parking Space. Did I mention Pet Friendly? 2 👍 I would Reccomend this place.
Im writing a review because the oyo motel in Tyler Lindale are liars .On their app and on their website they say if I refer somebody I will get a free night stay well indeed I did. I refer someone they stayed and they left the next day, I got a coupon sent to me saying heres your referral code for your free night stay 5 minutes after I received the code, I called the hotel and they tell me its expired the coupon i just received 5 min earlier. so theyre false Advertisement and lying and its not true what theyre saying about a free night stay if you refer a friend
The room we had smelled and it had a bad leak in the ceiling of the bathroom coming from the room upstairs. This leased badly 2x. We were not moved or comped for or troubles, could not shower, was afraid to use the commode. The worst was no one apologized once. Horrible night.
The room and service at the motel were great but the call center to book the room absolutely sucks and the personnel dont listen to what the customer wants or needs. I am handicapped and ask for a downstairs room and the call center booked an upstairs room but since I know the people at the front desk they changed it and gave me a number to call them directly and not interview with the call desk I will stay at the motel again but as for booking with the call center it will be a last resort from now on
If I could give negative stars, I would. Do NOT stay here unless you want to catch a communicable disease or fear for your safety the whole time. Its nasty gross, super old, falling apart, and apparently, located in the Four Points section of town where all the human trafficking takes place. Yay. Wish I had known this before getting such a great deal for a one night stay. This flea bag of a hotel needs to be boarded up or torched.
Very good close location to get something to eat close by the bus stop to get to work
Me and my husband booked a room here, on travelocity. When we arrived they told us they no longer had rooms. & gave us the managers number to get a refund. The manager has not returned our calls and text messages since the first night we spoke after he told us he would refund our money... hopefully this is the way I can reach him.
They demanded a one hundred dollar cash deposit, insisted it was on the booking website, I went over the website and there was NOTHING that stated this ! The manager was absolutely rude and abrupt, I was wearing clothing identifying myself as a military veteran. I honestly think that is why she was so abrupt, she scowled the entire time. So they kept my deposit, insisting the hundred dollar cash deposit was on the site, and it is most definitely not.
Absolutely TERRIBLE. Roaches everywhere, MOLD on furniture, bed frame and rugs, exposed cut wiring, shady people coming to door. Ive stayed at some not so great places before but this was by far THE NASTIEST ONE! Id give negative stars
Awesome amazing staff hope to visit again
All reviews with one star got no life, and are probably Walmart cheap people, I mean have you seen Africa ? India how people live there ?? As big truck driver to escape heat and sleep with ac in comfortable bed with hot water man thats all you need after long day. Yeah it has few old things inside but I dont care, slept all night quet would come back again , big semi truck parking 👌
Started yelling at us because we didnt have the deposit for the room. I live almost 2 hours away from Tyler and I came here to be up early for my sons surgery. I dont recommend this place at all
I got there and the maids were still cleaning my room then I go inside and it smells like urine and everything is still filthy had to make them clean again then still had to clean the mirrors and tv myself before i could get comfortable bad idea if you ask me!! Woke up to hundreds of cars pulling up and leaving!!
Got a really good deal here; we should have reserved out camping spot in Tyler State Park in advance. The breakfast was bad to the point of comical, it is very old, but fairly clean. Looks like any motel room in an 80s movie.
Actually not bad. Bed was clean . Good cable for the price I can live with it
Youll never have a better experience then here, well kept rooms, amazing customer service, safe environment. I highly recommend oyo to everyone I know!!!! Its better then the rest
Tyler Lindale is in the heart of the old quarter of Tyler, a few meters from the central and the Alcazar palace. The rooms are comfortable, the staff cant do enough, and there is even a swimming place on the roof. Its a great location for exploring Tyler. I would also like to mention the hospitality student who was gaining work experience and so obviously loved her work. Fantastic location, staff and ambiance.
Clean comfy rooms, good service, quiet area. Enjoyed my stay here.
Looked unkept and lots of water damage as well as grungy carpet and paint. Not staying here again and recommend to avoid this one. Horrible place to stay.
If you have a service animal, they will turn you away. I do not recommend these people I say, shut them all down.
In the mist of hurricane Laura, after driving around for 6 or more hrs. This is the only place I found that let me stay with my dog! Im am so grateful, because I thought we was going to sleep in my car. I really was about to give up.
Rude management. Be prepared to give $50 to them if you book online, though its either not clearly mentioned, or mentioned at all online. The room clearly had not been cleaned because there was trash underneath one of the tables.
The stay was very unpleasant!!!! First off the sheets was never changed... Me and my husband was quoted one price and when we played that they came and talking about need to pay more by rude desk clerk and was threatening to call the police.... This place is a scam so my advice is to not stay here find some place else!!!
Unless they fixed everything in the last 3 weeks, it doesnt look anything like these pictures. The hotel is in my top 3 worst hotels that I have ever stayed at and keep in mind that Ive stayed in hotel in Tijuana, Medellin, Bangkok and this hotel is just worst.
Its an amazing hotel! The rooms, service, view of the area, TEA TIME and location is incredible! Recommend it 100% Walking distance to restaurants and everything relevant to see is great. This hotel is our favorite one to stay in Tyler by far!.
The bathtub had hair and it was not ours ..but the housekeeper had quit.so a man has to clean.but other than that everything was good
Clean rooms great location good people in the office
I went to book and was turned away they told my husband that he could not book because I was not allowed there. I went to window they said I could not stay but could not explain why did not have any name for me or anything showing why . I have never been to this hotel before I actually am from a completely different state. Horrible customer service the way I was treated especially knowing I have never stayed there was wrong all the way around.
Its was decent for the price got a decent nights sleep and it had working refrigerator and microwave and although it was older the jet tub did work and the man up front was very nice and helpful
The room I was in was nice and clean. Very comfortable and peaceful. I always stay here when Im in Tyler.
Please be careful about fake bookings of oyo .. soon your hotel will be filled with forced check in and fake bookings of people who will not even stay in your hotel but oyo will claim for their share on thoseOyo will keep full 100% of amount of all cancelled booking ..Moreover they will give immense discount for online payment and make sure no one pays cash or by card at hotel. Finally when there will be too much wrong calculation and hidden charges and fine .. all online payments will be gone ans hotel wl be left to survive out of nothing .. what ever direct customers you have presently will also be gone due to immense online discount of oyo ..
Horrible place do not come here. Pictures are a lie. Green moldy pool. Drug use hotel. Loud music. Mattresses and toilets outside in hallway. Rude workers. I wish I could post pictures on here.
Holy good Lord and Baby Jesus; I was able to get a room for $25.00!!!! What the Hay!!!! Well kept room my only issue was the did not have a dvd player in it. This Glamma just threw her first fit!
Budget hotel. Clean, friendly staff. Ample parking for trucks or big rigs. Was additional charge to park a semi, but the room was so reasonable it was not an issue
Very nice guy overnight & helpful, rooms are cozy. really appreciate they service
Bed sheets needed changed. Room was a non smoking room. However it smelled really really bad. Will not stay again.
BED BUGS FOUND!!!!!! at 240am woke up being bitten.. called front desk and have to wait till 8am for the check out clerk to come look and then discuss if a refund can be made .... i took picture of bed bug and video to confirm. as well put it in a cup thats provided on sink for stay!!!!!!!
Rooms are old and outdated but thats the price you pay for this area. service at check in was excellent
Place was good but I have never payed 98.00 dollars for one night stay and just used shower and bed they charge 48.00 for room and 50.00 deposit and I guess they keep deposit for using bed for one night next time wont use them
Justenia Jones1/57 minutes ago on GoogleWhat I think about this hotel it was fine for awhile they never came and clean my room I never had clean face towels are big towels they are rude and hateful what I think they should be shut down and have better people there I had at first had blood on my bed and then blood stop on the bed I slept on they have bedbug if I want my lil cuz and nice to sleep with me they cant because I wouldnt let them sleep on are in that bed at all only 2 people work there was nices to me and show me respect I cant keep holding this Im no more they need to get shut down lil ASAP I never got my money that I spent and they never let me say In a room saying they are feel up and then I only have 2 beds and they was mad because I did not do there job and they dont pick up the phoneTrip Type SoloRooms1.0Service1.0Location1.0
We stayed for 5 weeks til I found an apt; our room was clean and everyone was nice- nice pool and places to eat and gas stations on corner- transit bus stop rt across street- the management is very nice and accommodating- they have been there for years
Room was very good 👍
Tried to charge a fee for our service animal, then when the Oyo app offered. 33% discount to stay a second night the hotel said I had to pay a $20 fee direct to the hotel
The pictures are VERY deceptive. This hotel is very dated and had a slight odor.If you need a cheap place to crash for a night, this place will suffice.
We were wise to take a taxi from the airport as Tyler is a very old and very historic center, and it’s very small streets and pedestrian areas would make the airport bus a bit of a challenge. But once we arrived, we could not have been more pleased.
Pricing was very reasonable the gal behind the front desk was extremely helpful when we got into our room there was hair in the tub not very well cleaned
If I could rate less, I would....They allow pets,But Only service pets!! Id imagine they Do Not get much business like that.Pretty Ridiculous!!!!
Exemplary service from front desk at night. Very nice presentation of breakfast in the morning. Linen soft and bed comfortable. Cozy nights sleep
It’s ILLEGAL to refuse service animals.
It was New Year’s Eve had accident spilled a beer on bed couldn’t get more sheets and i agreed to put sheets on bed and house keeper very mean and rude see we’re told keep our room clean
Awesome establishment. Always clean and the service is delightful. If your staying in Tyler, you will not go wrong choosing this hotel for your place to stay.
Its an older Hotel you can tell by the rooms. It was clean. But staying there a couple nights made my clothing smell like the room. Not something I wanted
Room was good for the price that it is, had no problems.
Bitten by bedbugs. Front desk said he had to investigate, what’s to investigate other than fresh bites all over my body??Do not stay here
No room service for 1 week stay roaches in bathtub an wont return deposit worst attitudes by staff
Rude people at front desk. People drinking beer at front. Would not honor google map price of $32 instead they wanted $60. Avoid the place.
Rooms were ok. But there is this one lady that works in the front that is so rude. She makes you feel unwelcome.
Was horrible the owner is a con be carful room was nasty the woman at the front desk was rude and I saw bed bugs and the owner got mad at me for reporting it
Rude Indian woman charged us for smoking in the room. Which we did not smoke in because we had a kid in the room with us.
I stayed at the loop 323 in Tyler.I could not take a bath or shower because there was no water pressure.I was told they would take $35 + $100 deposit. When I tried to get my deposit back after giving them $136,I was told I could not get it because of damage to towels.I had to raise Hell to get my money. Then they said they would charge someone else.I had a do not disturb sign up and they knocked on the door for towels. They told me to be out before 11.I only got back $99.I dont know if I will be back. The first time I stayed, they put me in someone elses room.
Worst hotel I stayed in took 2 hours to check in when I got to the room was nothing like the pictures very dirty and old do not waste your time here
This place was terrible. The rooms were nothing like what was pictures on the website not even close. The pool was DISGUsTIng.
Room was clean but outside was sketchy! I am pretty sure two doors down was either selling drugs or herself.
Im calling the corporate number on this place the people running it are crookes they all need to be replaced worst experiance ever with a hotel everr
A horrible hotel! False advertisement and refused me a refund prior to my check I’m time. Will never book with them again!
WILL NOT LET YOU STAY IF YOURE UNDER 21 AND HOMELESS ON THE STREET AND HAS THE NERVE TO ADD MORE MONEY 100+🤣🤣🤣
They dont deserve even one star. Look for any other hotel. A hole in ground is even better than this place!!
The bathroom was poorly cleaned and saw roaches around the fridge area:The pool was nice and clean.
To add to my review.... almost every good review for this hotel is fake..... they are from foreigners and relatives of the owners. Horrible people!
Dirty. Under construction. Room smelled of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. I didn’t stay.
They have bed bugs. And once told about it they blame u and make u sign a form saying theyre not responsible for them.
Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Nice employees. Enjoyed my stay.
Worst hotel I stayed in nothing like the pictures and took 2 hours to check in with my kids in the car

Great customer service!! Clean and nice room!!
You get what you pay for they are leery about doing anything but are always willing and helpful even friendly at some places but great prices always
Its not near as nice as the pictures show. And they have no breakfast and there not clean
Worst hotel to stay ever, Travelocity should take it off from recommended hotels, I should of read the reviews before.😡
Good value, friendly staff; clean older property .
Friendly people clean rooms and a pool all at a good rate
Roaches in room all over and also AC barely working got real hot at night
Horrible maid service. Very rude and the front desk was just as bad. Lazy for both services!!!
The people that work there are very nice
Very nice and cozy!! Excellent service from the staff!!
Disgusting place. Random people beating on the door. Car alarms going off all night, people yelling.
Clean room and nice staff
Good place to rest one night!
Avoid it. They only have excuses why they will not honor the price advertised in google map.
Clean and quite been going to this place for over 15 yrs and it just gets better
Pet friendly seem pretty clean price was normal
ILike this place ... Its affordable and clean .. most of all everything works
