04/20/3024 12:30 pm: Reviewed website to confirm gift certificates were an option before driving to this spa. Entered the establishment to find the receptionist on a personal call. I asked for a gift card. I was told they don’t offer gift cards due to major FRAUD that occurred. The website says something totally different. She did offer me a gift card envelope with a list of services and suggested I buy a Visa gift card to pay for the services. I felt racially profiled and unappreciated as a potential patron. Not to mention I was paying CASH - which she never inquired about.

I absolutely love the variety of services provided by La Vie Med Spa. I have had amazing experiences at all of my appointments with different professionals.Vanessa is amazing with massages! Rhena does wonders on my hair!And I’ve had great experiences with facials, lash tints and lifts, spray tans, as well as waxing.100% recommend this spa for those who are wanting to feel relaxed & comfortable, and leaving feeling like 1 million bucks.

Enjoyed a wonderful skincare treatment with Victoria. Very relaxing! Front desk was very sweet in accommodating me as a new guest.

Shelby did an amazing job with my spray tan! She was attentive and careful to cater to any need I had. La Vie is a great place to go for any service and I highly recommend them!

I have had 3 lash lift and tints done before, and this one was a let down. Ive never had a lash lift done in less than an hour, and Im unfamiliar with the entire procedure, but I know a good one doesn’t just get done in 40 minutes. The lady I had was nice, but I didnt even get her name. And thankfully Ive had a lash lift before to know the post treatment care, because she didnt explain that to me. Ive had a good lash lift before where it looks like Im wearing mascara because of how lifted and flared my lashes are. This one looks like I barely curled my lashes with my lash curler. Again, the employees are nice, but the treatment was honestly disappointing.

Awesome place. Relaxing rooms dimly lit with soft music and continual touch massage with just the right pressure to release knots in my neck and stretch some needed muscles in my legs. Following the massage I had a wonderful herbal tea to complete the relaxing experience.

Had a wonderful and relaxing experience yesterday when I had a luxury facial done for the first time. Before my facial, Rashelle was very informative on what products would be beneficial for me more so than I would have known. She was very friendly and did an amazing job! I waited to write a review till the next day cause I wanted to see the whole effect the facial had with my skin overnight - let me tell you..my skin looks incredible! I’m not even wearing much makeup today!

Rhena is absolutely amazing, she took the time to squeeze me in and had my hair looking flawless. She really listened to what I wanted and made it happen for me. I see she has a lot of love and passion for the job as she made sure everything was up to par. Thank you Rhena.

Horrible experience getting a massage. Specifically asked for light pressure and the therapist said “Well I go deep and work out knots.” I told her I didn’t want to be in pain because I was going out over the weekend and just wanted to relax. I couldn’t even enjoy my massage because I had to keep telling her throughout the massage to ease up. Also, the person at the front desk seemed like this was their first front desk job.The iPads weren’t even pulled up ready for me to fill out when I arrived (if you know clients are coming in, you should have those ready to go instead of fumbling around trying to unlock them).Two therapists RUSHED in the door about ten minutes before my appointment. One of them was my therapist. She seemed out of breath and rushed when she came to pick me up, and obviously didn’t read my intake form. Instead of using common sense and actually, you know, introducing herself, she said “Are you ready for your massage?” Any normal person and ANY other therapist I’ve ever met had said “Hi how are you. I’m so and so. Is your name (blank)?”We got to the room and she asked me what I wanted worked on. I said nicely “Oh! I filled this out on the j take form and included some medical things as well. I just want to relax after a long week. No deep tissue or trigger points. Just to relax.” I also put on the form that I’m allergic to rosemary and she said “Oh! It’s already in my lotion and on the table. I’ll have to get different lotion and change out the cover.” Okay… so you didn’t read the intake form I arrived 25 minutes early to fill out?The restrooms weren’t stocked with toilet paper or full soap! The soap was watered down. I had to rummage around in their cabinet to restock for myself and the next person.Also, it smelled like old lady soap. The ENTIRE place smelled like my dead great grandmothers Avalon and Merle Norman soap. Awful. Another female therapist came out to the front in actual booty shorts that didn’t leave anything to the imagination. My therapist was wearing super flowy boho fabric that kept tickling my face and neck when she bent! I’m sore, in pain, and am NOT relaxed after a long week.

My experience at the La Vie Med Spa was one of the absolutely most positive ones I couldve imagined. I had the pleasure to have Felecia work with me and help me talk through my first waxing experiences of any kind in general. Felecia was incredibly professional, as well as personable and easy to be comfortable around. The waxing was quick and done so with minimal pain, with great end results! I plan on scheduling future appointments with Felecia, and I cannot recommend anyone more than her.

I had a great experience at this spa. I visited them as an out of towner on 02/04/23 and was surprised by the friendliness of the staff. I received a facial and my friend got a massage. My facial was great. The esthetician was personable and made me feel relaxed. She also recommended things I could incorporate into my skincare routine. They only negative I would say is the front desk receptionist was not attentive. I was standing in front of her to check out for nearly a full minute before I said excuse me are you ready for me to pay. She was on her phone and hadn’t noticed I had been standing in front of her. I thought that was a little rude to have me waiting while she played on her phone. The price she confirmed with my friend before paying was different then what she was charged. She didn’t find out until she checked her emailed receipt. She called and was told that the site prices hadn’t changed yet. I feel they should have honored the price on the site since it’s still up and my friend asked the total price before her card was charged. Overall the experience was great.

Came in for a Mens Haircut. Rhena is a great stylist! Cut is great, and also get a shampoo and condition! Service is great, would recommend to anyone in the area who needs a Mens Haircut!

I went and got a spray tan and my girl Shelby did an amazing job. She left me looking like a bronzed goddess and made me feel so comfortable during the appointment

Faith is amazing! The first time I went to her to get my lashes removed (they were done by somebody else) I told her it’s been difficult for me to find someone who can do my lashes as dramatic as I want them. She showed me pictures of her work and knew exactly what I wanted! Today I went in for my 2 week refill and my lashes are only getting more perfect!!! I’m literally obsessed with them, not to mention she makes you feel super comfortable and educates you on everything she’s doing

Not happy with service. Go somewhere else for eyebrows. Would not honor the last of my gift certificate. Basically, lost money. Do NOT buy their gift certificates--wasted money.

Nothing is more important than a Spa thats makes you fell so welcome! From the moment I stepped foot in the building it was nothing but good vibes. Kayla at the front desk was very pleasant and social...she is such a vibe. I cant remember the ladys name that did my facial, but she did a very good Job. Vanessa did my massage and she did a wonderful job. I talk a lot so I like the fact that she engaged in small talk with me, some dont like small talk, but I do. Overall good experience.

I did not used to be the type to get facials, just wasnt my thing. Last year I decided to get one out of curiosity, and booked a derma plan with Felecia. Oh. My. Gosh. My skin is smooth for months after having this done. It seriously just glows and feels so refreshing. The facial itself is always soothing, she has nice music and scents going. Felecia is SO sweet and an absolute pro. Im normally frugal when it comes to my $, but I have been to see Felecia three times now, and I will keep going back as long as she is in Tyler. So so worth it, I highly recommend you book an appointment with her!

Highly recommend La Vie med spa. Had a facial by Rochelle and a massage by Vanessa. I felt amazing when I left already booked again. They were both super sweet and made me feel very comfortable.

The environment was very nice, it was clean and the rooms were relaxing. Everyone was friendly. I got a 90 minute massage and it started great, however, half way through very loud music from the construction workers next door started blaring and there was no way to relax through it. It was very loud and disruptive and unfortunately ruined the massage. The masseuse left halfway through for a minute or two as well, I’m not sure why but that pause contributed to the inability to fully relax. Toward the end of the massage, there was a knock on the door and the receptionist told the masseuse that my time was up and the massage ended very abruptly, there was no transition or relaxing ending. It was just over when the door was knocked on.I told the front desk about the disruptive music. I completely understand not much could be done about loud neighbors, however, the rooms that are sharing a wall with the construction should not be used. The music from the construction is way too loud to relax. In addition, I’m not sure if the knocking at the end is normal protocol, but if it is then I would suggest that it be modified to a less disruptive method of indicating the end of a massage. My 90 minute massage was great for 45 minutes, and then the rest was unfortunately ruined.If it weren’t for the multiple disruptions the experience would have been great!

My husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas. Had a terrible experience trying to get the gift certificate to go to his email and he didn’t get any real help from the staff until he left a bad review. Fast forward to last Friday when I decided to use my gift certificate for some lash extensions since it had my son’s wedding to go to out of state. I thought that 3 hours was a long time because I’ve had extensions many times in the past. I also thought the technician not having but one photo to show me was odd but I was already there and it was a gift. I was pleased with my lashes when I left. I even left the tech a 30% tip! I started noticing lashes falling out the next day but we were traveling and had a lot going on. They just kept falling out until at one point I noticed a huge gap in the lashes in one eye. Great for wedding pictures. I called the spa when we got back in town. The girl who answered said she would have the manager call me. Then I received a text from the girl relaying that her manager wanted to know if I would send pictures! You’ve already failed a guest once and now you’re going to request pictures? How insulting. Why not just do the right thing and take care of your guest? I will never do business with someone who treats their guests like this or recommend this spa to anyone!As far as the owner’s response goes...my husband did call the spa BEFORE he left his review. They were rude and unhelpful. He apologized because he is a good man and does not like to get upset with people even when warranted. I also reached out to the spa BEFORE leaving a negative review and was ignored once I refused to send pictures. But the manager sure was quick to respond once I left my negative review. It should not take a negative review to get good service. If you have an unhappy guest, you as a manager, should take care of them. Your intentions do not seem very sincere when both times we have dealt with you it took a review to get your attention. It’s very unprofessional and is bad business practices.

Felecia Morris (Tyler TX) is someone you would love to do your facials. She is an awesome Aesthetician who specializes in the comfort and care of your skin and body. To be honest as an African American woman, I never really thought about going to get a facial. I never thought about woman of color getting facials. Well since my co-worker was so nice to give me a certificate with Felecia being highly recommended, I thought why not. Ladies and fellows this is the best treat you will ever do for yourself as well as the best gift to give to someone else. I promise you or they will love it and its very affordable. My makeup glides on my skin and its so soft. My husband even gave me great compliments after my first visit. He wants to go to get the same experience. Talk about relaxing. It was more than just a facial. She serviced me from the shoulders up. She even gave me a regimen to do on a daily and weekly basis. Very affordable and a way to relax after work. Go ahead and treat yourself, you need this. Just to let you know that Felecia does more than just facials, so treat yourself and check her out and see how you can be cared for from head to toe at La Vie Med Spa in Tyler TX 7428 Old Jacksonville Hwy. I cant wait to my next visit.

My husband and I had a couples massage. Lauren and Dorsey were our therapists and they were amazing. The massage was wonderful and both ladies, more than once during the massage, would stop to make sure we were comfortable. Will definitely be returning for another massage!

I had some pain in my neck+ back, and I left feeling better than when I came in. Very relaxing and peaceful environment. Highly recommend this med spa, and be going back soon. 💚

This is such a great place! I got a gift certificate for Mothers Day and decided to try the teeth whitening with Kayla! She did a great job of explaining the process. It was quick and easy’! Everyone was so welcoming! I’ll definitely be back!

I had the best experience at La Vie! I got a spray tan with Andrea and she did an awesome job and makes you feel very comfortable. The tan turned out beautiful. With so many more services to offer, I would recommend this spa to anyone in Tyler! Very clean as well.

Extremely happy with my experience here. The spa is very nice. Everyone there was nice and welcoming. My esthetician was Faith. Talk about thorough!!! Her technique was awesome I felt little to no pain. After 3 years I expected it to hurt a lot. She is very nice, very easy to talk to, and super fast. Felecia did my facial. She was AMAZING!!!!! She made me feel so relaxed comfortable. My skin feels baby soft. Yashica did my massage. Also AMAZING. She had the right amount of firmness. My shoulders feel less tense. Definitely will be coming back!

I have never had a facial before and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! It was so much more relaxing and soothing then I imagined. Last night I was googling looking for a different way to pamper myself and revitalize my skin and for a break from my kiddos. This was worth every penny! Brittany was very amazing and professional. The hostess was also friendly. I would recommend this place to everybody!

It’s been a while since I last went for a massage and my regular therapist (after seeing Lauren initially) doesn’t seem to be there anymore, but all of my past appointments were very pleasant. The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and I always left feeling great and well-taken care of. I’m glad that La Vie has grown so much and seems to be doing so well, and I’m definitely looking forward to my upcoming appointment.

Just got my first ever massage at La Vie Med Spa! It was awesome, Jennifer did a great job. I feel relaxed and rested both physically and mentally. My usual shoulder and neck pain are gone for the first time in years. And the price was excellent too. I will definitely be back :)

Update: LIZA INGRAM! Best eyelash extensions!!!!! Faith has moved on to another opportunity and hard to believe, someone even better has taken Her place. LIZA INGRAM!!!! She has moved back to Tyler after a career in lashes in Houston and surrounding areas. She works full time at La Vie spa. LIZA is amazing. We had a long consultation and agreed to a hybrid volume solution. And WOW! I’ve been stopped on the street many times about my lashes. She makes her own fans and places then on every lash.Awesome!!I came from Dallas recently- which is the center of the universe for false eyelashes. I had little hope I would find someone that could do lashes as well as my spa in Dallas. And was I WRONG!Faith at La Vie Med Spa is the BEST I have ever seen! She is incredible. She is an artist. My lashes are beautiful and natural looking and full. I can not recommend her enough. She is efficient, incredibly skilled and trained, thoughtful and does magnificent work. She has a whole suite of lash style options to choose from. Yes FAITH! 5 stars. Best ever

Brittany Sharp is my go to girl! She is amazing with all things eyebrows! I also loved that the spa has so many options, you could spend an entire day there working on your self care, the prices are wonderful too. My husband surprised me this morning with my first ever massage and it was wonderful! I am very glad that he chose La Vie Med Spa. Lauren did such an amazing job. I felt completely relaxed and rested after just an hour. When leaving, I didnt just feel physically rested. I was also mentally rested in a way that I havent been since before I went to Grad school in 2012. My husband and I will both be back.

Came here after getting a much too intense deep tissue massage. I got a hot stone massage with Summer. I’m pretty sure she’s a miracle worker, and she was incredibly intuitive with my body’s limits. I have connective tissue problems so I have to be careful, and she was able to get rid of knots and kinks without causing further damage! The massage therapists are highly skilled, and I love the atmosphere and staff.

4/20/18 - The staff was very unprofessional and unethical. First my massage therapist (Alyssa) was not there when I arrived. As Im sitting at the front desk I hear my massage therapist on the phone with the receptionist letting her know she was late. The receptionist tells her that her client is there and too calm down and get there when she can. I initially thought about walking out once I realized she was late but decided to be patient and wait because I know that emergencies can happen. I was scheduled for a massage, facial, and lash lift and was wondering how this was going to happen since my appointments was scheduled 15 minutes apart and my massage started 30 minutes late but I figured the staff would work it out somehow. Before starting my massage I started my stopwatch because I had a feeling they might try to short me on my massage to make up for her tardiness but how much she shorted me blew my mind. Instead of an hour massage I received a 40 minute massage. After this I decided to cancel the remaining services because I was so upset by her unethical behavior. Also, Im convinced she did not act alone and this is something they do on the regular. The lady in charge offered me $10 off which in hindsight was not enough considering how much time I received it should have actually been $20 off. I would never go here again and Im so glad I didnt receive any other services there because who knows what other corners they cut.In response to the owners response - During the time I was sitting there waiting and even after refusing further service it was never mentioned to me the technical difficulties the spa was having based on the owners response. I think your fabricating all of this now in an attempt to minimize my review.There is no need to offer me a discount for the future because I won’t be back, because first impressions either keep you coming back to a place or keep you from ever going back. My experience with your place has me doing the latter🙄 Also the massage therapist that I ended up with was not the one (Haley) that was mentioned when I booked but I didnt request anyone in particular.

At Lavie Med Spa your experience is absolutely luxury! From Estheticians, Hair Stylist, Massage Therapist, Spray tans, Teeth Whitening and more! Complimentary varieties of tea. And a welcoming staff! Each service provider is trained and knowledgeable! Definitely my favorite spa in Tyler!

I have been to La Vie a few times now and have had nothing but good experiences there. The staff is friendly and professional, the facilities are clean and modern and the therapists are top notch. I highly recommend Mady L as a therapist. She listens carefully to your health issues and tailors her treatment to address those issues with great results!

So many good things I could say about this spa, but I’ll keep it short and sweet. Last week I got a spray tan from Alyssa, one of the amazing employees at the spa, and it was THE MOST even and perfect spray tan I’ve EVER received! NO lines! If you’ve never had a spray tan, you don’t understand how bad technique can affect how your tan looks. Not to brag, but I’ve gotten so many compliments on my tan and I’m glad to tell people about my experience. She was VERY professional, explained the whole process, and not once did I feel uncomfortable. Since then, I have cancelled my tanning membership at Palm Beach Tan to get spray tans on a regular basis from this spa, Alyssa in particular. Highly recommend!

Kelsea did a FANTASTIC job on my eyebrows!!! They’ve never been so even! I will never go anywhere else again to get them done; this is the real deal. She did an amazing job and made the process so relaxing. It was also much less painful than my trips to the nail salon always were, and I’m not nearly as red afterward either. 5 stars!!!

Love this place, it is so clean and professional. The owner was super welcoming. Hope, who does spray tans, is phenomenal and a delight to speak with. My spray tan was flawless and I am so happy with results. Will definitely be going back to see her!

I first met Lauren at a gym that she was employed with at the time and I was working out at. The gym told me that she was the best and they were right. I first went to her because I was encountering hip problems that were associated with my IT Band. She spent my whole hour massage targeting that one area, however, I left there feeling rejuvenated and hopeful. She is patient, asks questions, listens to what your gripes and complaints, funny but yet firm (PALMS UP). She truly is a GODSEND and you wont be disappointed.

Started going here for waxing and its been a great experience! I even got my boyfriend a gift certificate for his birthday. They offer so many services and I cant wait to explore more :).

My wife and I went here yesterday for a couples massage on our anniversary weekend. It was our first time to use this business. Did not know a lot about the business other than a few reviews I had read online. Turned out to be one of the best massages we had received and at a fair price. The whole experience was very professional, relaxing and we appreciated the fact they were interested in concentrating on areas of pain or discomfort that one was experiencing. We plan on going back in the future and I would recommend family and friends to use this business.

I looooove La Vie, especially Faith who does my lashes! They are so full, perfect length so they dont look all fake! I was scared to get lashes as I have never had false ones before. But, she makes it so relaxing and does an excellent job! Shes a perfectionist! And I just love her too!

Felecia was so wonderful today. I got the Diamond Microderm Facial and my skin has been so soft all day. She even helped me with a very pesky clogged pore I had and it is already looking and feeling better than it was this morning. I am moving to Texas here within the next few weeks and I will be coming to her again!

This is a very nice place. I paid for my friend an acene facial. While I was waiting for my friend to get done several people working there offer me water and if I needed anything. When she left i asked her if she thought it was worth it? She said absolutely she said they did alot of things. The lady who did it was nice and funny. Today her face was visible clearer and she said it was softer. I was overall impresses it was worth hour and 30 minute drive 👍

Faith is the eyelash guru. She is personable and professional. Her lashes she selects are taylor made for each individual. I can appreciate her meticulous work ethics as my eyes pop after she does her magic.It has been said that the eyes are the windows to the soul. This place gets a star because everyone was friendly and its a nice looking space, but this was by far the worst massage my wife and I have ever received. My wife was actually in pain after what was supposed to be her Swedish massage.

I have tried multiple times to book a massage here. I am about done with trying. A couple of times they didn’t have any therapists in, which don’t advertise massages if you aren’t going to have someone available to do them. And last night around midnight I was looking at available apointments and the books were wide open so I figured I’d wait until the next morning to ask my husband what time he wanted to go get one. Well I call first think in the morning to get one of these slots and all of a sudden they are completely booked until Monday? Seems to me as they don’t have any massage therapist there again all weekend. What are the odds from midnight to 10am 12 massage spots were filled...

Seemingly friendly staff.. at first.. but a week after my Brazilian Blowout my hair had returned to its frizzy curl(Id had it done before and it lasted 3 MONTHS!). After I asked them to address the issue(like give me my money back), they redid the blowout and I got the same result- which is still a waste of $200. When I brought this to their attention I was informed by the owner herself that I would just need to take my business elsewhere if I was not pleased with the results. And to top it off- the same thing happened to my friend!
