I didn’t get to experience this spa because they never returned my inquiry. They have a QR Code at the front desk of the Arrabelle Hotel for you to scan. The code takes you to a form to fill in for services and questions. I never got a response. The following day, we walked over to check out the spa and menu. The guy at the front desk said they only had a few appointments available over the next couple of days. Since it was “mud season” (the slow period between ski and summer season) the staffing was skimpy. He said he hadn’t gotten back to me bcz they were out of the office. But isn’t the whole point of the form to get in touch with people who want to book a service? And since you’re sitting there in the office now, shouldn’t you be returning those inquiries? Get it together!
I only have good things to say about Gravity Haus and Dryland Fitness. This review is specifically for Emily. She works at the front desk and contributes to great events! Her ability to handle difficult situations is unmatched. I witnessed her professionalism, patience and positive demeanor on multiple occasions. She’s wonderful!
If you plan to use the steam room be prepared for it to be off or broken. I like to use the steam room after every workout and it gets extremely frustrating when its not on!!!! Locker room can get a bit messy and weights are sometimes not restacked in the morning.
$50 for a drop-in to use the gym is ridiculous. I’d be happy to pay $20 or $25 but $50 is excessive
Stuck in Vail because of an avalanche or two? Pay $50 to spend the day at this comfortable and spacious fitness/lounge/center/place and throw a yoga class in for fun. The yoga is more exercise than yoga, but good to get some movement in when its -24 outside.
The fitness facilities here are very well maintained and the equipment itself was great for just about any kind of workout. There were plenty of plates from 45-2.5lbs which was very nice (some spa facilities neglect this). Staff were super kind and helpful too!HOWEVER there were a few minor things that stood out while I was visiting. In the mens locker room there is a full wall mirror next to two urinals without dividers.... Additionally the sinks have mirrors that dont quite look right and made me a little dizzy when I looked up from washing my hands.Other than some strange mirrors I would highly recommend this facility for working out!
Very nice facility, but so overpriced . Fifty dollars for a day pass! I’m training for a marathon so needed a treadmill. Treadmill was great, but would have been nice if the treadmills looked outside instead of at a wall. Locker room was crowded and a private changing room would’ve been nice, especially for the amount of money.
Just wanted to show Max at the Front Desk some love. I was frustrated that the weights weren’t organized at all when I came into the gym when it opened at 6a. I brought it up to him, and when I walked into the gym the next day the weights were all organized and he’d even gone through and labeled everything to help the members keep the place organized during the day. Thanks man!
First time in Vail I was looking for a gym to join for at least half a year. I went there wanting to sign up and give my money yet left an unhappy customer. I was told there was no free day passes and I had to pay $35. In most gyms they would allow a potential customer to try out the gym at least once and then allow the member to sign up. Yet front desk said there were no other options and didnt even call the member services manager. Corporate needs to introduce a free one day trial instead of having a potential paying member pay for one day. Corporate needs to ask, Is a $35 dollar profit for one day worth more than $960 dollars for 6 months and a happy customer. I was going to do the 6 months but left. Front desk needs to learn to try their best and influence a customer to join the gym. Also, remodel your ridiculous plans. $60 dollars a month for one time a month access to the gym is a joke. Show this review to corporate.
Well it is aesthetically pleasing. Luckily our gym has 4 study rooms. The new dumbbells are obnoxious in size, and too tall of a rack (brought this up, no changes to the height). Im 64 and have a hard time. The floors have spots that give out because gaps in the floor underneath. The bench press was removed and every weight lifter now crowds in the 3 squat racks (we have had to wait for space about 4 different times now). Mind you, the gym is not even that busy. Thank God for all the cardio equipment though!
Ive worked out up and down the valley for years, and the Vail Athletic Club is the best choice for me. For one, the training is spectacular and personalized. Secondly, the facilites are more than ample, and immaculately clean. Thirdly, the steam room in the ladies locker room is great, as is the lockerroom itself. Finally, the spa associated with the Athletic Club is where Ive had my facials and massages for more than twenty-five years. Highly recommended.
The spa and fitness center are both amazing. I am a local and I come here all the time. I loved the features the spa offered. Both their massages and waxes were high quality. The climbing gym is great because its the only one in the area. Would highly recommend for locals and tourists!
Be careful I slipped inside the wet sauna room and fell hurt my back and burn shoulder over the steam head.It is dangerous and the surface granite should have not a slipping surface. When I asked the lady in the therapy room for help and that I hurt my back. She said that she has a client and that I should be quiet and go upstairs to tell the front desk. When I went upstairs the front desk was busy and with my burned shoulder and back barely staying straight I went back to my room. I got my wife to help me with the burn and my back that I can barely walk and sleep.Just to let people know be careful to slip Inside the wet sauna as I did. I hope my life back will heal. And my burned shoulder will be soon ok. I believe it is 3rd degree of burn because of the large blister. I just got frustrated by the treatment Of the lady their and that ruined my vacation this time.I hope that somebody will not get hurt or break their body parts. Please enjoy it but be careful not to get hurt by slipping in the wet sauna floor.
Stephen is super hospitable and gave us a lot of info about the club! Really nice guy
I returned very sad to my house since I do not understand how people are carrying business, we do not know how to carry out a good relationship with their customers and make problems if they face. I booked a facial and a body massage, but unfortunately I had to come before that for extremely personal Issue . The manager behaved very understanding and arrogant, saying that you could not make any exceptions for this problem. Not body want to make a cancel reservation if you actually showed up in the spa, right? I felt the manager just care about taking a money from me! So be careful everyone’s!!!! She gave me 10% Discount as member of the second massage that I paid without taking the massage. I think that many people try to take money away from you to maintain a flotation of their business or their job” , but it is worse when you realize that the person who manager the spa does not have the vision to make exemptions in extreme situations with good clients. In business, many times you have to lose” once to keep the business going for a long time. I would love to go back to the Spa since I like the aesthetic, but With things something like this I am not sure Whatever, I recommend to everyone that if they need to make a reservation in this Spa make it at the last minute, because they Will Not Return your money (for any reason) even if you do not take the service. Please be careful with the policy in this place because it’s extremely unfair
A charming locationThe relaxing room is superb ..!!Devlin was very professional and friendlyWarmly welcome at the check inThank you Devlin you are definitely a great asset for this property ..!!Thé massage by Beth was wonderfulShe is also very professional and so sweet.Definitely a SPA to rememberIf you are in Vail do not hesitate to book a treatmentThis place is a GEM ..!!!
Horrible! Do not go here if you just want to drop in for a quick workout. $35 to work out for 45 mins. I was willing to pay $20, but $35 is just ridiculous. Sorry Vail Vitality Center, unfortunately you need to compete in the global marketplace of ideas and $35 is a rip off, even for Vail.
Great services on site! Take a class, work out, shower, hot tub, massage, dont be driving yourself far right after youll be in a satisfied daze. I like to have more space for ball sports but for what this site offers it is all very quality.
Was told the yoga class was free, but when we got there you had to pay $35 dollars for the day pass just to get in the yoga class and it was off-season. Definitely not worth it, there are plenty of other free yoga classes in the village.
7 years living here in Vail Colorado. I highly recommend the CBD massage as I never experience something like that. Thank you Beth and Jennifer Razee and the team at the Spa. Will be back again
Great place. Yoga, weights, and a climbing wall. Locker rooms are great. Only con is I wish it stayed open a little later. Even 9pm... maybe 10.
Do you have free weights and do you have a week pass for people visiting?
Been a member for a few years now. love the upgrades and shared work space!
Gym and workspace are great. Place is really starting to shine ... An amazing accomplishment!
Best gym in the area for several miles by far
Small, clean, private, with everything I need right there....now if only there were a pool, itd be heaven.
Dorp in prices are pretty high for gym size and amities
Average massage. Average experience. High price.
Love the new design and the added amenities!
Excellent facilities and terrific staff!
Great environment
