Was automatically greeted by the warm front desk staff followed by a transcending body balance massage. Leslie was superb in her work. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Great overall atmosphere. Will be back!

This is my happy place in Walnut Creek. The vicinity is spotless and tidy. The staff from the front desk, to the therapist are incredibly kind and respectful. I will always chose to come back here for a massage.

I’ve only come here twice so far but I’m going to put a massage into my regular rounds. Maybe once per month sounds a bit right.I’m sure there are plenty of great spas in the area but I’m giving this one five stars. It’s super clean, easy to access and the people are friendly. The massage therapists have been fabulous and really focused on any specific ailments I’m having at the moment.I’m not sure I need the rooms to be so dark but perhaps that’s what most people want so I’ll just go with it. I love the lounge area and the locker rooms are very nice.Of course, I got a parking ticket for leaving my Vespa on the sidewalk last time there but that’s more of a City issue than anything.If you want to try Woodhouse Spa out, be sure to schedule quickly - they are busy. Apparently the word has already gotten out.

I had the best massage experience EVER at Woodhouse. I got the immersive experience massage which was worth every penny. Not only did the masseuse know what they were doing it was a whole body experience. Go get yours today.

I love this spa!!! Such an amazing experience my massage and facials were great. Danielle is so kind and knowledgeable and really helped with what recommendations for products to use. My massage was perfect!! Nina gave me such a relaxing and peaceful massage, definitely fell asleep a few times lol but overall my favorite spa, will definitely be coming back !!

This is a beautiful spa and my massages have been wonderful. The reason I gave a four star review is due to a lack of amenities. I have been to a long list of spas in my lifetime, and this one provides the least amount of amenities of any that I’ve been to. I’m hoping eventually they will add a sauna or steam room.

Had a wonderful massage this morning at Woodhouse that was simply perfect! Not too deep, not too soft - just the right amount of pressure. The therapist used some innovative breathing techniques to help me further relax into the session. As for the spa itself, the building looks brand new, was spotlessly clean, and was not crowded even though it seemed they were fully booked between massage/body care and facials (which I want to try one day). The shower in the mens room was hot and powerful and the waiting room was inviting with calming music, a warm hearth, and water/tea/coffee. My staff interactions were pleasant and friendly, included being greeted upon arrival and was remembered when I went to check out 90 minutes later. I was pressed for time or I would have shopped their store - saw some cool candles and lotions. I will be back!

Wonderful Prenatal massage with Lynn! I typically dont like side laying prenatal massages but this one was amazing. Lynn really worked the muscles and focused on breathing and energy. Definitely recommend this if youre in need of some tlc during pregnancy and beyond!

I just had THE MOST incredible experience with Lynn and the calming retreat! It was a spiritual experience and massage all in one. Not only does she work with the physical, but she brings in the energy healing as well which I loved as Im a reiki Practitioner! She helped me do breath work throughout the session and I was able to release trauma and bring in peace and relaxation all at the same time.I have never had a better massage and healing experience together!

UNFORTUNATE EXPERIENCEI decided to give this place another chance as my first wasnt great. The facility and Front Desk is great but the service isnt. My 50min was cut short to 30-35 minutes leaving me in a real disappointment after I realized I didnt get the relaxation massage. It is like going to a movie but not watching the ending.. or I can give more vivid example. lol! I would not come here for this experience. Go to Meritage or other spa with lots of parking spaces. Go to some chinese spa which is a lot better. But dont try this place. Its not worth your money.PS.. The Nice Lady at front desk had offered me to speak to the manager but what is the point? First and Second experience sucks! You came to this place to relieve stress but end up getting more stress. Lol!

This is my go to spot for a hydrafacial..the staff is so welcoming and friendly and the place is very relaxing. The infrared light treatment is amazing. My skin always looks amazing right after treatment and Id highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to have healthy hydrated skin.

My family presented me with a gift certificate to Woodhouse and I am so happy they did. It was easy to make a massage appointment and my masseuse was fabulous. I’m not sure what happened but I had literally THE WORST MASSAGE of my entire life (previously held by the. Westin in Cabo). She had no clue how to give a massage, was certainly not a CMT, and had zero knowledge of the body or muscles. I could have had my 10 year old son do exactly what she did - It was terrible. Be careful when the front desk tries to get you to leave a 20% tip. They wanted me to give a $50 tip? You’re out of your minds. Way, way overpriced services here too - and for what? The dumb lounge?

Nestley my masseuse, was warm, kind, gentle and made my overall experience worth it. I would 100% come back and work with her! She was mindful of my injuries and you could tell she cares about her clients. Will definitely book to see her again! Only reason I give 4/5 stars is lack of availability to book appointments in the evening.

Dont book an appointment here. Theres a greater than 50% chance that they will ask you to reschedule, claiming that your therapist got sick.Ive been going to Woodhouse Spa in Walnut Creek since 2017. I go for my and my mom’s birthday, Mothers Day, Black Friday and Christmas. But today Ive had enough.Im tired of booking my appointment at least 1-2 months in advanced only to get a call from WH that the massage or facial therapist assigned to me or my mom was sick and therefore they have to reschedule my appointment.This has happened to me at least 3-4 times ever since they reopened their doors after the COVID 19 lockdowns. They often call the day before my appointment. One time, they called me as I was driving to the appointment.This time, they called me on a Thursday saying that my massage therapist for Saturday is sick.What kind of business doesnt have a back up strategy if their workers call in sick—Especially, during these times when people can get COVID at anytime?

This my second time going there. The first time was very good experience too. I has facial with Danielle and it was very good too! We will definitely come back!

Had the worst spa experience Ive ever had here. Ive frequented this spa for years, but the last experience was so negative (the lack of customer service was horrific - I left in tears - the tone and interactions with my attendant, service provider, and owner were so negative that day) that I simply could never justify returning or recommending this establishment. I hope they are able to return to the standard of excellence that I have received here in years prior - but will not ever be returning to find out.

Nice respite in downtown Walnut Creek!Although it’s tough to get an appointment here, the treatments I’ve had have been wonderful - CBD massage and hydrafacial. Prices are on the higher side but worth it. I’m giving them only 4 stars because it’s small, with limited availability, and Walnut Creek really needs a true spa.

I treated myself to a spa day here to celebrate my graduation. Ive never felt so pampered! The facial was nice, lunch was good and healthy, the pedicure was fun and relaxing, and the two handed massage was one of the best massages Ive had in my life. I highly recommend this place for some self care

Have had a gift certificate since the pandemic and haven’t been able to redeem it for some time. Finally had an opportunity and was quite surprised to find that I had to book over 6 weeks in advance to get an hour massage. Well a day or two before the appointment I received an email asking me to confirm the massage then I received a text message the day before reminding me of the appointment. 4 hours before the massage appointment they called me and canceled. What bothers me themost is that if I did that to them I would have been charged a cancellation fee not to mention the fact that I took off work early to make the appointment. Lost wages. I’m done, I asked for a refund of the gift certificate and will not return. I’m still waiting for the refund…

I had a wonderful experience at Woodhouse Day Spa after using a gift certificate my daughter gave me. She and I both began to relax as soon as we smelled the aromatherapy after walking in the door. Everything was clean and quiet and lovely. The waiting salon was inviting with a fire in the fireplace, which oddly didnt seem out of place at all even though it was hot outside. During the massages, we both thought the beginning with hot towels on the feet and then the request to breathe deeply into something scented with a lavender-mix were nice touches and something particular to this location. From there, I had one of the best massages of my life. But my daughter said hers was nothing special. She believed she had a beginner masseuse. Im certain I had an extremely well trained and experienced one. This review is for both of us, so I will average to 4 stars.

My only hesitation in adding my review is I don’t want it to be too booked next time I need to screech in to take care of myself. Its been a little while since I’ve been - Covid and all - and the staff is just as friendly, the faculties are excellent and having lunch after is a breeze. I’ve been to many spas all over the world and several in the Bay Area and for this location hands down it’s one of the best. I’m going to try to make it an every six week non-negotiable take care of myself so I can take care of others tradition.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This was the only time Ive ever left a spa LIVID, disappointed, and more stressed than when I walked in. After months of having to reschedule and wait for an open weekend appointment, I finally had an appointment set on Sunday (9/26) afternoon at 3:15pm. A few days before my appointment (Wednesday 9/22), I got an email from the hospitality team asking if I could come in earlier because they had double booked my service at 3:15. I agreed and got the updated confirmation emails.Fast forward to Sunday, I check in for my appointment and am told Oh, weve actually been trying to reach you for a FEW days but couldnt get a hold of you...your therapist got into an accident and we couldnt find someone to fill in. So unfortunately, we dont have anything for you today. EXCUSE ME?! I was completely dumbfounded as I was JUST communicating with someone who asked me to come in earlier, received the confirmation email the day before, and I shifted my entire Sunday schedule to get there earlier and was met with we dont have anything for you today?! Not a single mention of we can help you reschedule. NOTHING.Starting to wonder if I was racially profiled for being Asian. The story doesnt add up, and the three white women working the front desk did nothing to try to reschedule my appointment or make up for the CLEAR miscommunication. I was told I would receive a follow up call from the spa director and its been 3 days with no follow up. Lucky Foot Massage chains have better customer service than this for a FRACTION of the price.I will be looking into filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Had a wonderful experience. I had originally booked services for my husband, but he was not feeling well, so I inherited the services. The staff was very flexible and accommodating with the changes. I felt welcomed and taken care off. Their organic mask products are amazing and the prices were very reasonable. My skin has improved since the experience. I will definitely return.

You deserve to experience some fine services from Woodhouse. I’ve been there several times and it has not disappointed me. Excellent technicians & staff. Really feel pampered. Luxury spa in the middle of Walnut Creek. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because it’s not easy to get a reservation… professional and blissful . Had a girls goodbye part there and we used th extra room for champagne and charcuterie in between the 3-4 treatments we had that day. A true get away

My experience at Woodhouse Day Spa Walnut Creek was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I literally melted into relaxation mode upon walking through the door. My husband and I did our first couples massage. I was so relaxed, I actually forgot he was there! I work in NYC and was visiting the area on vacation. I wish we had a spa this special in my neighborhood. I have been to many spas in NYC and I have not found anything this special without spending way too much. The customer service was phenomenal and they made sure my husband and I felt special as we celebrated our anniversary a little early! It was the perfect way to end our trip before taking the red eye home. I highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!!!

Heavens!the only thing i could possibly have wished for after one of the most wonderful massages ever from Aska , was to be able to just lay there on the massage bed after he was finished and take a nap!i did feel rushed from service to service- massage, deluxe mani and pedi and actually asked at the desk on my way out if i’d received the total of the services i’d been gifted.the deluxe mani pedi was so relaxing! but if i ever found that kind of cash for a treat under a rock again i’d definitely schedule them in reverse order. with the mani pedi first, followed by the massage.the quiet resting room is lovely, as is the entire spa. beautifully decorated and calming. they offer chilled flavored water, teas, and 3 different types of individually packaged treats to enjoy as you visit with friends or just chill and come back into the world.really appreciate that my partner is so phenomenally thoughtful to give me such an beautiful experience.

It is always such a treat when I enter the Woodhouse. Time stands still in the quiet soothing sound and scent of the spa and it is me time! The staff is always so lovey and the massage therapists just wonderful. I have also enjoyed their facials and manicures and always leave so happy with the services. I look forward to coming back. It’s always a great experience when I visit, but this time was the absolute BEST! As usual I received a therapeutic hot stone massage and Leslie was amazing! She listened to my needs and areas of concern and applied just the right amount of pressure and balance between using the stones and hands. Not everyone does this, but Leslie was on point! I left feeling a lot less tense in my neck and shoulders and she loosened up a lot of the nots. I’m looking forward to booking with Leslie again very soon!

I will come back soon!. I am pregnant for the first time and my doctor recommended I go for a prenatal massage. I decided to go in talk with them in person because i had ton of questions about the massage and the lotions they use. All the people there are incredibly knowledgeable about their products and services, they made me so comfortable and I went ahead with the massage...and a manicure.Every single detail is taken care of, the music is fantastic, the teas and pastries are tasty and light, the design is so welcoming that you forget about your daily problems just to be focused on yourself.I have had several massages in my life although this one is my 1st prenatal one but i will be back, hopefully soon!I normally do not have my manicure done in spas but it is another experience!, my hands are soft, even 2 days later, and my color looks stunning.Delete review

I had a WONDERFUL hot stone massage from my masseuse, Malissa Barr. She is a FANTASTIC masseuse, and I very much appreciated her communicating with me as to the process, and inquiring about any problem areas I was having. Some masseuses that Ive had just do the massage with almost no communication, so I was pleasantly surprised with the personal attention Malissa was giving me and the periodic check-ins she did with me during the massage concerning pressure, the heat of the stones, etc. I cant wait for my next massage with her!! It was one of the best massage experiences that Ive ever had!!

I booked a deep tissue massage along with a few other services for my friends and somehow there was a mix-up and I ended up with an additional reflexology service. I felt terrible that I received the service, but they were able to squeeze my friend in and give her the treatment. They didnt charge me, so I ended up paying for the service by tipping Anastasia. I love how friendly and considerate they were with our party. Definitely will be returning!

Woodhouse is a beautiful, upscale day spa that helps you feel pampered and relaxed! I followed my aesthetician, Denise here from SF and she is absolutely amazing! So far, I have tried the hydrofacial and their seaweed facial and both make my skin glow and appear more youthful! Denise is very attentive and tries to customize her facial that suits your concerns. I love having her and Woodhouse is a beautiful place for just such a treat!The staff here is also very friendly and they dont push products on you when you are not interested in or need anything. I cant wait to see Denise again for a special facial treat!

Woodhouse is where I go for any special occasion- either a birthday massage or for the hydra-facial before a big event. The ambiance is super relaxing, the staff are all really attentive, and everything is pristine. Other people mentioned it, but the smell is seriously amazing. I can’t recommend Woodhouse enough.

We were on vacation in the area. My wife had gone online and surprised me with a massage. She had a $200+ gift card in which she thought she booked the massage with. On their website when you check your gift card balance it says book appointment and gives the impression you are booking with the GC. It does ask for a credit card number as well but she thought it was going to be on the gift card. There were 2 email confirmations sent neither of which said anything about bringing the gift card with you or needing to pay for the balance. Me receiving this as a gift went to the spa and had the massage, no one ever informed me there was a balance. After the massage was over I walked out and looked at the front desk. No one was there, i had a meter running on the car and had to be at a wedding 45 minutes later so I left. The next day we got a call from the spa employees accusing us of skipping out on paying for the massage. We told them we thought it was paid for on the gift card. They were very mean and kept saying we had to pay on a credit card. We told them we did not have the gift card with us as we were out of town and the lady on the phone said. I will check with corporate and see what we have on file. I want to make sure that if it is a credit card you do not want us to charge that I told her we did not want to pay with a credit card and that immediately when we return to our home we will call with the gift card and cover and charges and to call if they had any questions. The next day we received a charge on our credit card for the cost. I called the spa back and they again were rude and mean accusing us of having to pay by credit card and that now they could not take a gift card over the phone. The lady even told me she watched the video and I left without talking to anyone. There was no one there, it was a gift which I thought was paid for and I had a meter running. We finally talked to the corporate office who said we could pay by the gift card over the phone. This was a gift from my wife as an anniversary present and now they have turned it into an accusatory two days attacking out character and completely ruining any enjoyment from the massage. My wife frequents the Woodhouse spa in Franklin Tennessee and talks about how great they are. It is unfortunate that my only experience at Walnut Creek has been a nightmare. I hope the owners, and corporate see this review and might take some time to talk to their employees on how to deal with customers in a way that reflects that person spending their money on a luxury service. Fortunately there are other options for Spas and I would highly recommend checking your other options.

Second time here and could not wait to come back. My therapist Anastasia was wonderful and the ambiance here is unbeatable. I took full advantage of the quiet room, the showers, the tea and snacks. I have 3 kids and one is 6 months old and it was just amazing to relax and be surrounded by silence. :)

By far the best prenatal massage, best pedicure, and the best (post baby) massage I have ever had. My husband and I come here often because (although expensive) they have the best service, best massages, and best robes. We feel very comfortable coming here when we want to treat ourselves for a good massage and relaxing time.

My visit to the Franklin, TN. Woodhouse Day Spa is always the highlight of my day/week/ month. They are always welcoming and friendly - offering tea and neck wraps and comfy robes. Just like visiting the house of a good friend. I leave there smiling and relaxed....sure of the notion that it truly is all about me. Cant wait for my next visit!

I absolutely loved it here. The employees were great, the massage was great, the atmosphere was wonderful. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the pedicure. $75 was way too much for what they did. It was no different than a $25 pedicure some where else. Plus they didnt do all they said comes with it on the menu.

Absolutely most wonderful day spa I have ever been to! Truly lovely staff, as well as outstanding specialists. I had an amazing massage from Sean and a great facial from Gia. Both were really open to what I needed which was important since I am in a boot for achilles tendonitis and had just conquered excema. Relaxation room is beautifully decorated and had perfect touches. I will definitely go back and have been recommending to my friends since I was there.

Great spa experience. I used to go to the Aveda salon Habitude up in Seattle, and have been looking for a similar spa ever since. Woodhouse was great. Soothing music, comfy robe, dimmed lights, tea, water, & snacks. My massage therapist was professional and really listened to my concerns. Will definitely be going back!

I’ve come here a few times with my husband for a duet massage or for a girlfriend outing. The spa is clean and modern, and is set up to be relaxing and inviting the minute once you change into your robe. The staff is pleasant to work with - always courteous; always professional. The overall experience, however, is based on the massage itself. And in my opinion, it’s a hit or miss for me. It’s never consistent because their technicians arent. The really good ones don’t stay; and the news ones are still learning their craft. I’ve had great, absolutely fantastic, deep tissue massages from some of the girls (ex. Anastasia) and just “ok” ones. My last visit was slightly disappointing. If you really want to to experience a “woodhouse” signature spa, try to find a masseuse that really knows what they’re doing. It’ll be worth your time and money.P.S. I would strongly advise to give yourself an extra 15 min for parking. Parking can be a bit difficult to find and you have to pay for a 2 hour time limit.

I love visiting the Woodhouse Day Spa in Franklin, TN and it has the most relaxing atmosphere. They have lockers for your personal things and give you spa sandals to wear. You are also provided with soft spa robes, wonderful tea and warm neck wraps while waiting to be called. Treat yourself to a fabulous day of pampering yourself.... you wont be disappointed.

I took my friend here to celebrate her birthday. Both of us had a wonderful experience. We both had a massage and Pedi. It was so relaxing. The atmosphere was very elegant and comfy. The people were very helpful and accommodating and everything ran right on time for our treatments but we never felt rushed. I got a GC for christmas and will be back very soon!!

Nice retreat for spa services and Swedish massages. I would not recommend if you prefer deep tissue massages. The changing rooms are clean and well stocked. The employees are very nice and accommodating.

Excellent massage, they even booked the same day. I was a little thrown off by the casher asking do you want to add the customary 20% gratuity which may push me to a lower cost option in the future. Im all for a fair tip but this is not a restaurant with a hostess, bus boys, and cooks to support. This is already a pricy massage.

Amazing! The staff was friendly, the relaxation room was beautiful and relaxing, and all the services were excellent. My only real feedback is that theres only 1 shower (which wasnt a problem for me because nobody else was needing to use it when I did) and the drain was clogged so the water was flooding while I was showering.

This was my second time getting a couples massage here. The ladies in the front are always friendly, the ambiance is very relaxing, and the massages are great. We will definitely be back for another massage in the future.

Excellent relaxation spa.You change clothes to a robe and slippers.Go to the next room sitting back listen to music, sit by the fireplace, refreshing infused water, and nibble on mixed nuts.Try to leave your cell phone/laptop in your locker, be considerate of others that do want to relax.

The HydraFacials at The Woodhouse are the best! My skin feels clean, smooth and radiant right after. No redness or irritation. I can continue with my day without any face makeup!

Horrible service. Very misleading description on my service and they were completely unwilling to accommodate or adjust even though it was my birthday and this was a clear misunderstanding. I left in tears. Youd think for such a pricey venue they would care more about customer satisfaction.

Great service, wonderful technicians for my facial, massage and pedi..... parking is kinda inconvenient but its walnut creek so thats a given and there is no food here.... it would have been nice to have a small snack or light lunch offered as part of the several hour spa package

Calm quiet and elegant place. The only down side to it is that the woman checking us in was on the phone for a long time and we ended up being late to our appointment, and not getting the entire hour we paid for.

My wife scheduled me an appointment for my birthday and this was the best most relaxing day thanks to the Woodhouse day and spall and Mary grace great staff.

Terrible customer service. Humiliated my daughter in front of other guests. Tried to make a product return, one day later and with the receipt, and it was nearly impossible to get even a store credit. Not ever returning.
