I absolutely love the staff at this place. They have always been super helpful to me and the store always has great sale prices on bongs. I will not purchance a bong anywhere else other than there because the deals they have on pieces are killer you just have to ask thats all and they will hook you up for sure. Love this place and the staff!!

I went into this shop to pick up something specific and was talking to one of the workers who was so knowledgeable. I learned so many new things about their products and the industry. Great customer service this guy really understands the products that they sell. Give this place a chance if you havent already

Wanted to find replacement for Juul. Salesperson suggested a Baton system. She said they were out of pods, but they would get a shipment early next week and it came with two. Returned next week - no pods but next shipment early next week. It has now been over three weeks - 5 trips to the shop and every time its oh sorry man theyll be in next week. Asked for manager Were ALL managers. Asked for owner info We cant give that out. Probably a great place to work with absolutely nobody taking responsibility or taking action. So stuck with a $35 vape system and $20 of juice with no pods to actually yse the system This place is a jike.

UPDATE: theyve made some good changes since i left my original review. new batch of employees that have a friendly attitude and are knowledgeable. they are beginning to stock Vaporesso devices and pods... a far superior product to Smok. they also now stock some of the less obscure juice companies, though Im still trying to find a local brick-and-mortar shop that carries Coastal Clouds. In conclusion, if youve had a bad experience at The Cave in the past, Id say give em another chance... the jaded. burnout girls appear to no longer work there.Originally gave The Cave 5 stars. After 5 or 6 return visits to the shop, I cant with a good conscience recommend it to potential new customers. A couple months back, I came in to get new pods for a Smok device. I should the woman the pod from device and she sold me a 5-pack for a totally different model. And guess what? NO REFUNDS. EVER. Despite the fact that it wasnt my fault. They never have anything I need. Like, ever. So they try to sell me something else totally unrelated. For example, if I need particular coils, they clumsily look around, unsure if they have them or even carry them, and then try to sell me an overpriced device instead. Their juice selection is embarrassing and way overpriced. STAY AWAY! This place wont be in business much longer. Mark my words.

Walked into this place after moving away from Walnut Creek and thinking, CANT BELIEVE THIS WAS HERE THE WHOLE TIME!!!. I went in for a Puffco deal which is rare and was really happy with my purchase. The online system is really easy to use as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs glass or other equipment.

Marissa was very helpful and friendly. Knowledgeable staff is always important especially when youre new to something and she really knows her stuff. Highly recommend visiting and saying hi while browsing! Thanks for your guidance Marissa!

Great general manager -- friendly, knowledgeable, organized.I tried to get a discount but they do not haggle in this shop, which is fine because it is less like a head -shop and more like a well thought out retail chain.Selection of glass is top-tier for the average customer.In the end I had to leave empty-handed because I had misplaced my I.D., so remember that if you are going in, but altogether its a great shop!

This is a great shop. Since vape-related products were banned in Alameda County I have been coming here. The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable of their products. If you too live in an Area that has banned those products for sale, come here.

The people who work here are fairly knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They have a fantastic selection of liquids and filters, and spend a lot of time with me every time I go to make sure I get exactly what Im looking for. They are also diligent about matching the name on your card to your ID, which is uncommon these days and very much appreciated. This is now my sole source for vape liquid purchases, and theyre open late which is ideal for those of us on swing shift that often dont get a chance to go shopping until most places are closed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10

As soon as you walk in the door you are warmly greeted, so friendly and just over all good vibes. Got a replacement pen, nice, inexpensive and got details on all pens. We were there for about 5 mins so quick and convenient.

Recently learned about The Cave when my husband and I met them at their booth at one of the events we attended this past weekend in Oakland. We ended up buying a torch and a dab tool. They were cool with helping us swap out the torch when it ended up being defective, and even invited us to check out the different stores.We recently got into dab so my husband has been looking for a lot of pieces and was so impressed with their selection that on the 12th we drove an hour away to check out their San Mateo location and purchased an $85 ruby terp slurper bead set. Upon getting home that night we realized that the set was not the right size with our terp slurper even though we were told that it would fit.So the NEXT DAY at about 9:20pm, we drove 30 minutes to THIS location since it was closer to home. Came in and was greeted by a female employee and a male employee who later identified himself as Sam. My husband walks over to Sam to talk to him about the bead set and to see if they carried the other items he needed to complete the full rig set he wanted.My husband decided it best to EXCHANGE the bead set in lieu of the other items he wanted as it didnt fit our nail. Sam blatantly refuses and insinuates several times that my husband was trying to return an item to The Cave that we bought from a different store. How does that even make sense? When my husband tried to explain to him that we bought it at the San Mateo location less than 24 hours ago and that I had the receipt, he refused to acknowledge the existence of a receipt, and raised his voice to tell my husband that he cant just be trying to do these things to people insinuating AGAIN that he was somehow trying to scam the store.Sam then tells him the best thing he can do is replace the ball that didnt fit but hes not going to ALLOW him to return the whole item for something else just because my husband had Buyers Remorse. He then proceeds to tell my husband that they do not actually do refunds or exchanges, to which we ask him whether THEIR OWN DOOR states that they allow exchanges and he replies with, it says something about exchanges but whatever. He then proceeds to raise his voice at us AGAIN to inform my husband that he didnt know what my husband was going to do since he wasnt going to accept the exchange. When my husband tried to ask him how that made sense he attempted to accuse my husband of raising his voice while consequently yelling right at my husband to which I stepped in and called him out. (Note: Sams other blatant micro-aggressions towards my husband last night have not gone unnoticed and makes this situation even more infuriating). When I told Sam that it was him raising his voice he quickly retreated into saying that he would call his manager and let him decide. I asked him to make the phone call in the store so we could all hear him. Sam refused and went outside to make the phone call by himself.What astounds me is that when he stepped out and I asked the other employee why we were being refused, she was also confused. Asked me if I had the receipt to which I handed her and she EASILY was able to scan the item with no problem. She proceeded to try her best to step in and help us while Sam was outside. When he returned, all he said was a begrudging and quiet they can exchange it to his coworker and then proceeded to stand in the corner of the store to sulk, never ONCE apologizing or acknowledging his mistake or behavior. Wouldn’t even look us in the eye.For reference this was the exchange my husband wanted to do and ultimately purchased from the other employee: $85 ruby bead set exchanged for a $35 round based banger, $20 down stem, and a $40 ashcatcher. Someone explain to me why we were being refused?Never been so blatantly disrespected by a store before.

Terrible experience. Staff was incredibly rude. I decided to go to another smoke shop 0.3 miles away called XYZ skate and smoke shop.same products and they’re even cheaper!! Much better than these dumbos working over the counter. Thanks for the terrible experience guys.

I came here looking for a deal on kratom and I have never seen prices come even CLOSE to this place. If I lived closer I would be in this shop twice a week, the only thing that was better than the price was the outstanding customer service. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Incredible service from all of the employees Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. Super knowledgeable about all the glass and attachments. Awesome prices on vape gear cheaper than my local spot. Honestly just a dope convienience store attached to an art gallery run by dope people who are super friendly.

WORST STORE-rude and inexperienced and overpriced. i went here out of desperation because my usual store was out of my atomizers. asked for a specific dual-CORE atomizer that i have been using for years. the name and ohms is on the box! i went to show the worker and he grabbed my gear and broke the seal so now i have to buy a new tank! no apology or offer to pay for what he broke. Then went on to lecture me on how i was wrong about asking for a dual-COIL atomizer. Core- not COIL you geniuses. Then another woman behind the counter marches over to use a nasty tone to lecture me some more on coils. i said fine & that i didnt want to argue THREE times. Then they would not give me a receipt until i insisted. What goes around comes around.

This place is terrible. The lunatics are in charge of the asylum. Owner has left immature, rude people that know little of sales. Went in for a vape pen, to be sold a battery charger claimed to be a vape pen. Upon return was told have to contact third party for refund. They smile and said my mistake since they do not sell vape pens. Funny, that is what I asked for. It is too bad. Service used to be good. Guess they hit bad times.

Nice selection; your above average small-medium smoke shop. Convenient enough location with friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service. Strict ID requirements can be annoying after repeated visits.

Bought a vape and it had a burnt coil and tasted like absolute nastiness and they said theres nothing they can do about it. STAY AWAY. Clearly they have no interest in ensuring customer satisfaction. Literally got ripped off for 13 dollars.

Place look like your average Smokeshop, looks like a decent number of pieces, but they didnt have the one I was looking for. Nor did the to Stoner bros who worth working in the shop seem to really care to find something that would work as a stand-in.

The internet directed me here. When I arrived they were locked up. A sign on the door said they were out but would be back by 11. It was almost 1:00. Bad show, guys.

Went in for vape juice. Thats all. Every time I asked about a different juice they were constantly trying to up sell me. Pump the breaks a lol bit.

Watch out all smoking of any kind prohibited in Walnut Creek. That includes in your car, and public place downtown. Trails and seriously just on the sidewalks. Solid shop tho.
