Ivo gives a really great deep tissue massage. As a marathoner, receiving targeted release from his deep stretching always makes a difference in my next runs. Not only does he give an amazing massage, he has a great personality as well. Always a pleasure to work with him. Highly recommended.

Petar is great. The muscles around my neck and shoulders are very tight & injured from a car accident and his massages have helped a lot in alleviating the pain. His room is very comfortable and relaxing and he provides very professional service. Prices are great as well. He is a very talented massage therapist!

I had a great overall experience with Revive Massage and I will definitely be returning. Scheduling my appointment was easy and I was able to get in for an appointment that same day. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Tamara was my massage therapist and I thought she did an excellent job. She was skilled and professional and I would happily see her again. The facility is clean and crisp, without a lot of clutter, and their rates are competitive. Two thumbs up!

I have been a Revive client almost from their opening. I have lower back/spine issues as well as frequent tightness in my shoulders, and whenever I start getting twinges or tightness, I make an appointment with Ivo and always come out feeling relaxed and centered again, with the twinges and discomfort gone. I have also had two massages there with Petar, and he is also an excellent masseur. He resolved in one visit some neck issues I experienced a couple of years ago. I highly recommend Revive.

You cant get better than this! I have been everywhere for a massage and nothing beats Peter. He is very intentional with his technique throughout the entire massage; ensuring that every move and pressure point is executed with precision. I have a lot of knots in my neck and shoulders and every time I leave feeling refreshed and loosened up. I actually got goosebumps during my massage.The massage is very relaxing and comfortable. I am a regular here and wouldnt want to go anywhere else. Revive DC and Peter set a precedence for the massage experience and are very clean and professional. I would recommend Peter/Revive to everyone. Looking forward to my next appointment.

I cannot say enough good things about Revive. I’m a busy hairstylist which means I’m on my feet for 10-12 hours a day. I have been experiencing back and shoulder problems for years. I started getting regular massages. After trying several places, I found Peter at Revive. He knows exactly what he is doing and is very professional. I highly recommend him and the 90 minute massage. I cannot wait for my next massage!

Three stars for Revive, four stars for Sylvia. [Note: the website does not list any information about their COVID practices -- my wife was asked to wear a mask for the duration of her massage, and we both had to put our faces into paper towels laid over the face rest. The masseuses also wore gloves the entire time.] We had a couples massage and arrived to be taken right to the massage room after confirming we had an 11AM appointment. After getting onto the table, it became apparent that the room smelled old, like stale water – which makes sense because there was obvious water damage on one of the walls. I understand that we didn’t request aromatherapy, but there were no candles or any fragrances of any kind, just an old, unpleasant smell. My massage table also creaked every time any pressure was put onto my back, loud enough that my wife heard from across the room – not very relaxing for either of us. After comparing our massages, my wife realized that her table didn’t have the heating element plugged in and was cold pretty much the whole time. Once we went out to pay, we were asked what massage we booked (did we really even get the massage we paid for?) and asked to fill out some client forms, asking if we had any existing pain, etc. – things that should have obviously been asked prior to the massage. Overall, my massage was decent for the price (Sylvia did a good job on my shoulders) but it’s on the cheaper end of massages for a reason and our experience was pretty unprofessional. Won’t return.

Im very active -- distance running, hockey, biking, strength training -- and I was looking for a therapist who was skilled at deep tissue massage. Ivo is terrific! He understands technique and pressure and has the strength to offer an excellent deep tissue massage. Revive is very well run: scheduling is easy and efficient and the facility is convenient and very well maintained. Overall, the best massage Ive found in the DC area!

I’m so glad that I decided to go to Ivo for massages. I’m addicted to massages, and am a massage therapist myself, so I have had hundreds of massages in my life. But in the last couple of months I started to go to Ivo for massages, mostly for my constant lower back pain, and I can tell you he is one of the best - if not the best massage therapists I ever had. After getting my massage from Ivo, my back felt so much better - I could not even believe how much better I felt and I could move like normal. I definitely can tell you you will not make a mistake going to him.

Unfortunately my massage was poor quality. My massage therapist had cold hands, was super rushed, didn’t apply much pressure during a deep tissue (although I asked her to) and she kept doing the same few bad, amateur techniques on 1-2 spots of my back. It seemed like she was not paying attention and was just trying to rush as quickly as possible to be done with the day. It was disappointing because I paid a ton of money for this as it was a couples massage that was a gift. IF I go back I will definitely select a therapist mentioned in the 5 star reviews below.

I unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with Revive. I am a very busy single mom and hardly ever do anything nice for myself, so for my birthday I thought I would splurge and get a massage. Unfortunately on my way out the door to the appointment I had a serious issue with the car seat and couldnt leave on time. I called Revive several times explaining my situation and apologizing I was running behind, I wanted to be sure I wasnt just a no show. By the time I arrived there was only 15 minutes left in my session, and I asked if I could reschedule. I was told I could not, and that not only was I not able to reschedule, I was going to be charged the full amount for a full hour massage. I thought this was very insensitive given the hard time I was having, that i was very communicative and the fact it was my birthday - come on?!! I was basically forced to get a ten minute massage for $50, or lose all my money for nothing. It was basically the least relaxing encounter I have ever had with a massage parlor. I give 2 stars because the woman that gave me the ten minute massage was clearly good at what she does and at least she was apologetic, and I dont think it was her fault about the charge, I think it was business administration that clearly does not make a single exception to their stringent policies. Given life happens and I expect for some human understanding from businesses I frequent, I would not go back to this place.

Great shop in a convenient location. I broke my collar bone and was in an incredible amount of discomfort due to accompanying muscle tightness and swelling. Ivo was very careful to not irritate my broken bone and did a thorough job to make sure all the kinks were properly worked out. Needless to say I feel like a new man and will definitely be coming back for treatment throughout my recovery!

I have been receiving massages from Ivo at Revive for over 3 years (and over 100 massages) now. He is fantastic! As an orthopedically challenged person, my aches and pains often pop up in different places, and Ivo has been able to address them all well. Each massage from Ivo is different, customized to the needs for that visit. He is excellent at working on all areas of the body, and he is by far the best masseur that I have ever had for hip work. I like/need my deep tissue massages to be very deep, and Ivo can easily accommodate that if you want it (while always checking along the way to make sure the pressure is what you want/need). If youre looking for an excellent, highly therapeutic massage, Ivo (at Revive) is your guy!

Best massage I can recall. 1.5 hour deep-tissue was thorough and professional. Peter knows his anatomy and is adept at adjusting pressure responsively across muscle groups. Scheduling was a breeze and the rates were reasonable. If youre looking for deep-tissue massage within an easy stroll of Dupont, Revive is the place. Frankly, if youre looking for a solid massage anywhere in the DC Metro area, its well worth the trip.

Ive being going to Ivo at Revive Massage for three years for deep tissue massages to help with with some chronic problems in my neck and back. Ive also gone a bunch of times for one-off injuries and every time I leave there feeling much better, in less pain, and a lot more flexible. He is highly knowledge and has even sent me home with some stretches and exercises to do on my own. Ivos great and I highly recommend Revive Massage.

I got an amazing sports massage from Ivo the day after a I ran a half marathon. He worked out all the tightness from my legs and applied the appropriate amount of pressure throughout the session. My legs felt better almost instantly. Highly recommended.

Petar gives the best deep tissue massage Ive ever had. With neck and back problems regular massage is essential and Im very happy to have discovered Revive Massage. I see Ivo every week and he is amazing at what he does but what impresses me the most about him is his knowledge and professionalism. Ivo takes his job very seriously and is amazing with communicating what he notices when hes working on their bodies. I had the best massage with Ivo. Very professional, comfortable and expert. Ivo provided an excellent deep tissue massage, hitting all of the right spots, working out the knots, and adjusting the pressure as needed. I went out of the massage feeling much better physiologically than when I came in.

Petar accommodated me last minute with a super great routine. Hes traveled a lot so has a lot of good stories too but can still hit all the targets in one hour. Definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a massage to realign their muscles.

Ive been going to Revive Massage to see Ivo for the past 8 months and I always leave the massage feeling so much better! It doesnt matter if its tight shoulders, tight hamstrings, glutes, or stress from work and he definetely works to get my muscles back to a normal relaxed state. Everything is very clean and neat.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND POORLY RUN ESTABLISHMENT!!! Went there for a 90 minute Swedish massage because I had visited before and had an awesome experience. This time however, they were overbooked and I was not seen. I was offered another time in the afternoon but I had already planned my day and could not simply come back a few hours later. I was not offered anything such as a discount or a free visit. My options were either reschedule or cancel. I decided to cancel. Their massages are good but any business that will treat customers this way without so much as an apology is trash. There are plenty of more professionally run establishments in DC. AVOID REVIVE!

Awesome! I had an incredible massage with Silvia. I went in feeling like I was made of brittle plasterboard and came out feeling 1000 times lighter! My shoulders must have dropped 3 inches.Love it - highly recommend!!

Ivo is a GOD! He s incredible. He found all the knots that I had and I melted on that table. There were knots I didnt even realize I had!! Temperature in the room was great, lighting was perfect and the music smoothing.Ivo is very professional and the environment is clean.Its definitely worth the visit! Thank you Ivo!

Great massage spot in D.C. I had their 60 minute signature massage (swedish and deep tissue combo) with Ivo and it was the best ive had in years. He applied just the right amount of pressure and made sure to check how i was doing. Ive been to fancier and more expensive massage places in D.C. and recieved what amounts to a vigerous back rub. This is the place to go if you really want to get those kinks worked out. Next time ill be booking a longer session.

Ive been seeing Ivo now for about three years and he is hands down the best therapist. Hes very professional and gives an amazing deep tissue massage. I highly recommend Ivo and wish I could afford to see him weekly.

I have now gone twice to Ivo and he is simply one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever had. I tend to want deep work done which can be painful but he’s very gentle even when it is painful.

Went there with a friend for deep tissue massage. These guys definitely know what they are doing and follow a good methodologies to ensure your pressure points are all stimulated. The person I had had a long of strength and maybe a little too strong to my liking. But overall its a very good experience

Ive been going to Petar for years and I recommend him to everyone. The only hesitation in writing a review was that I selfishly didnt want to compete for his availability. This place is busy, a reflection of the excellent customer service and even better massage techniques of the therapists. Whether its to unwind after a long week, recuperate after a workout, or recover from a long flight, Petars your guy.

Peter only knows how to give deep tissue massage and not swedish. He was very deep in pressure and i maybe said three times to be lighter but he continued to be extremely deep. This was my first massage. I got pain in my neck after the massage. My back was ok. He was ok on the legs not too much pressure there.

Ivo was great! Asked what I wanted to focus on and then did so. Checked in to be sure pressure was good. Very skilled and thorough. No sheet, just a small towel for modesty but the room was warm and he was totally professional.

Very unprofessional desk attendant named Sandy. I recently began frequenting this place last month and have gone every week for a 90 minute massage to resolve deep stress that i build during the week with work. Today, Sanday not only gave away my 90 minute massage appointment to a patron that walked up for a 30 minute massage but she left me sitting in the waiting room for 10 minutes until I was the last person to need assistance although I was one of the first to enter for my appointment. Im disappointed by the service and the rude attitude given by the staff given to frequent customers. Im going to begin using the Mandarin Hotel or Body Therapy in NE because they are professional, courteous and accountable. Also, this discount massage group comes off like they are very familiar with anatomy but it is clear that the massages are inconsistent and the staff turnover is high so its difficult to establish consistent therapy. So its basically what you get for a discount massage. I just cant handle two negatives for a discount: very poor service and mediocre massages.

Revive sometimes is one of those businesses that has a lot to offer on paper but in person it isnt as good. The staff apart from the masseurs arent very accommodating, a few smile but most of the time they are always handling their own stuff and not really making you feel like they care, they seem to walk around a lot and leave you in the waiting room.The massage room really is great, Jade is my favorite masseuse, very polite and always makes you feel happy after the massage. I can confirm that it is a bit chilly but I never minded the cold and the massage, no matter what package will make you feel very relaxed and revived.My other complain really is that the special packages dont leave you feeling any different than the normal or basic massage they offer.

Ivo did literally the most fantastic job. I came here due to lower back pain seeking deep tissue massage and Ivo fixed it all! He has a really firm grip and he really know where to dig into. He eliminated all my knots I never felt better. I am looking forward to coming here as a regular.

The below post is from almost 3 years ago. I just want to report Mr. Ivo is still working his magic on my muscles. For the over 40 crowd (uhem)...having someone who can take care with the daily aches and pains of being active and getting older is clutch. Thanks for being an amazing fitness partner.(3 years ago)I have been battling a piriformis injury which has caused insanely tight muscles along my IT band and a stiff knee. I have tried physical therapy, dry needling, stretch therapy, roller foam, heat, and Epsom salt baths. The only thing that seems to really help is the deep tissue massage I get from Mr. Ivo. He is very professional and I can actually feel him loosening the muscle tissue during a deep tissue massage. It has made my 8 times per week exercise routine possible again. He is a must try if you are an athlete that needs relief!

I wish i could give a 0. Please beware of this establishment. The experience received from owner Ivo Georgiev was beyond the worst. A Appt was scheduled days in advance for 11am. When arriving the owner greeted us and asked if we wanted any water. He vanished behind a door and it wasn’t until 11:38am that he approached us and that was only because we asked the receptionist why we were still waiting. Once expressing to him our concerns he had no emotion. He stated the therapist was running late. It was as if he could care less. He only offered 50% off when he seen that we weren’t letting up. This was the most disrespect and unprofessionalism I’ve experienced in years. Please research the companies you invest your money into. Biggest mistake I’ve made!

I had the 90 minute City Massage with Naida and it was a first class experience. The place itself is in the same building as Otello restaurant which is located directly across the street from the Dupont Circle train station. I feel as though I had 20 pounds worth of stress released. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely return. Thanks so much!!

This place was ridiculous. I booked over a week in advance for a couples massage for an 11am appt. we arrived early and no one greeted us or even acknowledged us until we said something 5 mins before our appt asking if there were forms or anything to check in. They were dismissive and rude. After asked after 11 what the update was, they said one therapist had arrived and the other was not responding to their calls and texts! So unprofessional. At 11:20 (20 mins after our appt was supposed to start) they asked if we wanted to wait and leave. We left without our appointment. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be going back and strongly advise against others booking here.

Great prices, great location and always very accommodating with scheduling. Clean studio and the staff is always welcoming. Petar is a brilliant massage therapist and is helpful with fixing problematic areas. Love it here!

Ive been coming here for about 3 years, the service is amazing (Petar my personal favorite), scheduling is super easy and you can choose the person you want the massage with. I always come out relaxed and knot free.

My feet were killing me from all of the walking were doing in DC. I called and scheduled an appointment at Revive and Aika gave me a wonder massage! It was just what I need she focused on all the areas I asked her to. My feet now feel wonderful and I was able to walk back to the hotel without limping! Came in for my first deep tissue with Petar and it made a world of difference for someone who works out daily and also has a demanding/physical job. Super professional and effective, would highly recommend.

The place is not the nicest. There is a club (or strip club) next to it so in some areas it could be noise. The bathrooms are ugly and dirty. The massage was very good and warm. We enjoyed it.
