Ive visited Crush in DC multiple times for Happy Hour, private parties, and a night out dancing. Each experience has been awesome! The space is thoughtfully designed, with each floor offering a unique vibe that caters to any mood, interests or the group Im with. The bartenders and staff are also exceptional—friendly and attentive, ensuring everyone has a fantastic time and feels included. The drinks are also excellent, especially their signature Orange Crush.So whether youre in the mood to chill after work, need a private space for a party, dance or a local spot to simply relax and chat with friends, CRUSH is ideal. Opening on a great foot! Good service, space, and location. The orange crush and grapefruit crush drinks, with fresh squeezed juice, were great. Both the staff and crowd were diverse, noticeably more so than some other places in DC. Only critique is that the heaters in the outdoor space were too strong for spring, but I’m sure they’ll work that out. Fantastic addition to the DC queer scene!

But it’s not always easy to achieve this level of customer satisfaction if you don’t work for it. At Crush Bar you feel welcoming as soon you walking. Start off with the stuff having a great positive energy to the cocktail, liquor/beers selections are amazing with a great operation system.

I’ve been here several times, it’s a great bar with great vibes. Nicely maintained, bathrooms were clean when I’ve gone there, staff has been respectful and bartenders know what they’re doing.However, I would ask the bar owners to please consider investing in adding a few rotating fans and upping the AC on the second floor front of building bar area. The ceiling are high enough for them. It gets freaking HOT HOT HOT up there. We all enjoy drinking and having fun when not sweating a storm because it’s humid as heck. all while it’s fully packed up there.I was there last night with about 10 other friends and let me tell you, we were sweating nonstop. The humidity and heat is simply insane. I hope you take this into consideration.

A few weeks ago, I came here invited by Gilfaa (State Department) to attend a happy hour. Everything was going well until I found out that the security team attacked one of my colleagues in the street (they chased him from the bar to the street) to push him, hit him, and snatch his water. This place should apologize for that violent behavior, which is unacceptable.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Crush Bar in DC. The security staff, particularly the man in charge of the door, was rude and aggressive towards my Latino friends for no apparent reason. His behavior was completely unacceptable, and it made us all feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. What made matters worse was that the manager was fully aware of the situation and chose to do nothing about it. It’s shocking that a place like this allows such behavior to go unchecked.

Best bar in dc. My bartender, Jannie, could not have done a better job. She was fast, kind, and made a great drink. 10/10.

First off, it has been a while since Ive enjoyed a night out in the city. I have never heard of this place so a friend and I decided to stop by, and Im glad we did! We were looking for a nice vibe and the vibe was definitely caught. Tierra*, the bartender was amazing and so sweet! The drinks were great and you will definitely have a good time. The ambiance was cute too (for all my content girlies) and yeah.. it was a vibe lol

All the staff were super friendly and helpful! Literally everyone went out of their way to help if there were any concerns and were incredibly kind. Also, the decor is very creative and colorful. I didnt have any drinks here, but my friends said they were good.

It was so nice and enjoyable to finally be served a delicious drink by an amazing bartender with a SMILE, yes a real smile, and it seemed like they actually wanted to be there. The entire diverse staff were ALL friendly and made the experience amazing. Highly recommend.

Upon my first visit to Crush, I had high hopes for a new and vibrant gay bar experience. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. After purchasing two drinks and tipping the bartender approximately 22%, I was approached by the bar manager (that’s how he introduced himself), Jimmy Lardin. To my surprise, he criticized my tip as being too low and not in a very respectful tone, despite observing others who werent tipping at all. This encounter with Jimmy left me feeling appalled and completely ruined my evening. I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others considering a visit to Crush.

Great drinks, great staff, great atmosphere. The sam cooke album on the ‘staff picks’ wall was my favorite piece. Will definitely be back!

If you’re a woman or a person of color, avoid this place.Also if you have a foreign (Middle Eastern ID), the white security guard will “have concerns” and will not let you in.We were excited to try this new place out. What a DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

They scan IDs here but give no info on privacy policy. When I asked the manager, Jimmy Lardin, if the bar had a written privacy policy, he asked me to leave. Seriously.
