DC Massages

I have been going to DC Massages for a while & would highly recommend. Kostas is professional, respectful of his clients (including timeliness), & finds all of your knots. He checks in to ensure hes applying the amount of pressure you would like & adapts his style to your individual needs including one off situations (ex: I had several bee stings which itched severely & he worked around/avoided that general area). He moves your body in a way that you can feel the stretch running through your connected muscles while also providing relaxation. He is responsive to you preference of ambiance (speaking, silence, music, etc) & easy to get along with. I appreciate that he checks on how youve felt since the last session as well as which areas you prefer he work on for the current session. Since I use metro to get around, his proximity to Metro Center & McPherson Square metro stations and several bus lines, provides easy access whether getting there from the office or home.

Kostas does a great job. I go to him regularly. He is very professional and an expert at his job. The best massages I have ever received. Gets all the knots out perfectly. Feel like a new man after I see him. I highly recommend him.

Kostas was amazing. I was running late because of snow and he accommodated me super well. The pressure was perfect and you never need to ask for more. Unlike many masseurs, he uses his full arm including elbows, forearms, and shoulders to apply pressure. He also added in some stretching that felt amazing. I have been to many massage therapists and I can’t recommend him enough.

In time for a conference and really needed a massage. Got all the knots out of my neck and shoulders. Extremely professional, nice studio and I would come here all the time if I lived here. Worth every penny!

On Tuesday, March 21, I received an excellent massage from Kostas! It was my first time having a massage with him and he did a wonderful job! Not only was he tentative to the spots where I had the most tension, he was also a pleasure to talk to (I like to talk during my massages). I would highly recommend him and will be definitely returning next month.

I was really in need of a massage. I was suffering from lower back pain. I took a chance on this relatively new massage parlor. I am glad I did, the experience was far superior to what you get in your typical massage parlor. I got the deep tissue massage and Kostas did an amazing job. It was as if you went to see a chiropractor mixed with a masseuse. I will definitely be a regular client and recommend to all my friends!

Great massage - Kostas really understands body mechanics and focused on releasing knots in tight areas -- and in areas that I have not ever received attention from other massage therapists in, like getting around my IT band. Definitely will be going back!

He was very attentive and the massage was very relaxing and therapeutic, with some great stretching as well. This was my first appointment with Kostas, I was referred to him, by my massage 💆‍♀️ therapist, that relocated to California. Man, this was an awesome referral, Kostas is amazing, the pressure was great, the studio was awesome, the massage was so amazing, that I scheduled a second appointment, before I left. He is very professional, good conversationalist, very friendly, and it doesnt matter, but very handsome, to even out his fantastic personality, he will definitely be my massage therapist going forward, and I feel great! My massage therapist Konstantino, was awesome. His expertise and skill were evident from the very first touch. He took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and tailored the massage accordingly. The level of care and attention to detail he exhibited throughout the session was truly remarkable. I left feeling rejuvenated, both physically and mentally.

I’ve spent the last 2 days walking around dc and running in the mornings to get all the sight seeing in. I arrived to DC Massages hobbling from walking and running 12 miles that day alone and left ready to tackle the Smithsonian! While I don’t live in DC, this would be my go to spot.

What I love about Kostas is that he adjusts to what you need that day. He can do a stronger or lighter massage, is good at key areas and pressure points, talks or doesn’t based on what you respond to that day, and always checks in as he goes to make sure you are getting the experience you need and want. Ive been going to Kostas for about 6 months and he is the best at deep tissue and sports massage in DC. His overview before he begins is thorough so he can address both past and new problem areas without having to guess.One of the things I like most about Kostas over other masseurs is that he is on time every time. Awesome massage. I went to try to relieve some pain, joint and mobility issues. Kostas, found my pain and worked it out. This was no easy massage, but you could tell he knew what he was doing and working deep to find my pain. Yes, it hurt a bit, but thats what I needed and Im feeling better. Worst massage ever received. The therapist was very unseasoned and inexperienced, spent 85% of the 90 min full body massage on the back, did not even touch the front of the body. It felt as he was not comfortable with a human body at all. Definitely not a repeat 👎🏾
