Came to Trunks as the last bar of our night out. Kinda wished we had just spent the entire night there to begin with.This was one night where they played Beyonce back to back to back a few months after Summer Renaissance came out. I couldnt agree more with the songs choice.The music, people, and ambiance in this bar were unmatched. Out of every club we went to in WeHo, Trunks was my favorite, and the first one I would return to.

Went here last Thursday and it was our first and only stop, we were planning to check out the whole strip but the music, drinks and vibe kept us dancing! We went back on Saturday and it was PACKED, still a fun time, music was great, people had amazing energy. It felt good to be at a bar that was playing music for POC. After spending most of the night there we ventured along the strip to find another bar, but the music was way too electro & not giving the same vibe as trunks!

MOST diverse gay bar on the santa monica Blvd strip. When you want cool laid back guys, chill personable bar tenders, and an escape from the WEHO copy/paste personalities this is the spot. 🔥🔥🔥🔥Owners are great. Drinks are great.

Always one of my go-to bars when i’m out in weho. i’ve been a loyal patron for years. if you want a no frills gay bar where you get great service, this place is for you. the bartenders are really friendly, swift to take your order, and professional. the regulars are extremely nice. there’s always a dance party happening to old 00s hits on the weekends. its a really fun place to end the night. the drinks are stiff and not over-priced by west hollywood standards. the atmosphere is a bit divey, in the best way. highly recommend! i’ve always felt safe and welcome here. i’ve never had a problem with pick-pocketers like some other reviewers, but that’s certainly not the bar’s fault… ?

CAREFUL! Drinks are way too strong!!! It’s my second time where I have a drink at this club and I completely loose consciousness am still able to order my Uber but the next day the last thing I remember it’s coming out of Trunks very dangerous

I used to like this place but it turns out to be very toxic. My friend and I walked in and was waiting to order a drink and the bartenders don’t even notice us. They only apparently notice all the masc for masc men that’s in the bar. To Me that’s toxic. People act like they are better then other people. Bad atmosphere. Nothing is important that will ever go on at this particular bar becuase I definitely get treated better at any other bar on this street. I will go to the other bars that have better manners and the guys are nice . Plus the drinks are expensive here. I value myself more important then those only care about looks and appearances.

Very diverse crowd and music is hot!Relatively cheap drinks. Not for everyone, but for everyone that wants to have a hot time.

The best club in WeHo!!!! The music, the crowd, the vibe, it’s amazing!! People are really down to earth! I always feel so comfortable there. I just wish they would stay open longer!!! Please consider extending hours till 4 😭

The vibe was cool but there was a group of pick pocketers. One girl secretly tried to get my phone off of my pocket and her friends looked ready to help her. They followed us out once we took noticed them.Be careful out there.

BEWARE: Like anywhere, pick pocketers are notorious in night clubs.. but this place was INFESTED! A huge group so obviously targeting people. The lady in the photo reached into my friends pocket but we caught her, she tried to play it off and her friends called her back to their group. They KNEW what was going on.. take a look at the pics and keep your eye out for these pigs 👁️ Love WeHo but hate people who take advantage of folks just trying to have fun.

Lovely, cozy and super fun bar. Very good beer and strong cocktails. I was pleased with this place. An advertising campaign takes place here, you can get a separate room for 2 hours and any cocktail for free. To do this, you need to register on the site 909gay,com take a screenshot of the profile and show it to the bartender. It should work now, we took advantage

My boyfriend got pick pocketed here on a Friday night according to the security it happens often, be careful with your belongings.The bar is a good time overall though. One of the speakers sounded like it was about to be blown out.

Drinks are good. Music is usually really good. Its just a small place that gets very packed. Hard to walk around or dance because your usually shoulder to shoulder in every corner of this place. Other than that, its a good time (if you can move or dance to the music).

Drinks and food get an A+ from me. Our waiter was not only a cutie pie, but he was attentive to what we needed. He made a little mistake with my card at the end, I won’t deduct stars.I forget the name of the food I had. It was the Baha something with shrimp. Delicious.Music was great. 🏳️‍🌈 Friendly establishment. I would go again.

Super cool place to start the night. Music is decent, bar tenders are really attractive and also nice. There are pool tables and the crowd is always really fun and chill. Also the drinks are affordable

My favorite dive. Strong drinks, solid happy hour, pool, and dog friendly on the patio. They usually play great music. Its a chill place during the day. It can get really busy at night. Not really a dancing spot, more for pool and hanging out.

This is my favorite bar on the Santa Monica strip in West Hollywood. Its gay owned and the drinks are cheap for the area ($8 gin and tonic) and very strong. I like to come here to start the night.They have great music and the crowd is friendly and constantly feelin themselves. I dont mind that it gets a bit crowded at times, just because its usually good company.Pro-tip is to to the far right of the bar to order, since it clears up around there.

This is such a unique gem in WeHo. I went there with a friend and had a great time. It can be very crowded, but it is a place where everyone comes to have a great time. If youre looking gay bar with strong drinks at a great price, this is your best option!

Everyone goes here for pregame cause their drinks are strong. You can play pool. It has a cool ambience inside, its always chill, sometimes you can dance there, they have a patio area where people can also smoke and they have heaters if its cold.

I dont go out to bars that often to begin with. Plus, the idea of going to a bar in a town as image-conscious as West Hollywood had previously felt intimidating to me. Luckily, Ive given Trunks a couple of tries as my first gay bar experience, and Im glad I did. Its a nice venue with cordial bartenders, cold beer, and patrons who dont seem to care about image.

Great place to get your buzz on. Drinks are super strong and not expensive at all. It is very small and gets packed. Wouldnt recommend it for those that do not like strong drinks. Music needs improvement

My friends and I enjoyed our time at Trunks until an incident occurred with one of the bartenders last night. I dont know his name, but he was a white, straight-passing, shirtless guy wearing a beanie. We had been ordering drinks from the back bar (nearest to the bathrooms), and at one point, I had paid for a drink and was still at the bar when the bartender just grabbed my almost-full drink and dumped it out. I asked for an explanation, and he said that I was falling over and too drunk. I had in fact not been falling over and was not causing any trouble or disruption. He kept insisting that I was too drunk and needed to leave. I told him that I had paid for my drink and demanded a refund. He said that he would refund me but that I would need to leave still. Instead of refunding my card like he previously said he would, he just handed me a $5 bill and then called security to make me leave. I tried to explain the situation to them, but the two large male security guards (one of which was named David) instead just literally lifted me and carried me out of the bar. It was extremely humiliating and disrespectful. I understand that bartenders need to call security when there is a threat to safety in the bar or if there are people who are drunk to the point where they are incapacitated, but I was clearly neither of those. When I exited the bar with my friends following me in confusion, I realized I did not have my phone. I tried to re-enter to try to find it, but the bouncer would not let me or my friends back in. It was extremely frustrating, and while kind strangers tried to help me by going back in the bar for me, it was just too crowded for them to successfully help me without me being able to check all the areas I had been. Part of me wonders whether the bartender had taken my phone while I left it on the counter while paying and then proceeded to kick me out of the bar. I went back to check today, but the phone was nowhere to be found. I know that these things happen, so Im not rating the bar 1-star because of my phone being stolen but because of the treatment I received from the bartender and security guards.

Not a great experience, went on a Sunday night and someone threw a drink and i was hit by it, later I felt someone going for my wallet

Awesome bar to stop by and grab a drink with friends. However, I despise that they play music videos that are not in sync with the music. What a waste of an appealing asset to the bar. Literally was listening to despacito but watching some random ass videos on screen. Biggest pet peeve.

Great neighborhood bar with strong drinks at fair prices. Very friendly staff and clientele. Zero attitude. Small outdoor patio for people watching on Santa Monica Boulevard.Trunks also has a pool table and flat screen TVs throughout the bar airing sports and news programs. Ask for Trevor. He is everyones favorite bartender.

If youre looking for hella strong drinks, good music, and a place to play pool this is the right place for you! Always a great place to get the night started. Its a little small, but besides that, great!

Cheapest and strongest drinks in weho. Friendly staff and bunch of regular customers. Great for after work happy hour. Often hit up this location first for drinks on the weekends, before moving onto other places that always charge a lot more and are watered down.

Hands down one of my favorite places in West Hollywood. The drinks are poured just the right amount of heavy for what youre paying for. Pro-tip: Go to the back bar to get served quicker.

Im from Houston visiting my friends in weho he took me here to trunks & 1 of the bartenders specifically the one w/the tattoos on his arms & wears his pants below his waist w/his behind exposed was very unpleasant & rude ! this wasnt my first gay bar in weho overall my experience was ok but however the bartender was rude & I wouldnt want to experience another night like this in weho !!! I asked him for drink recommendations he just pointed to the drinks behind him & just took the next customer !!! However the drinks were good & music alright !!!

Be prepared to be kicked in the pants, their drinks are extra stiff. Efficient bartenders, but not the friendliest or most inviting. I always feel like Im going to get pickpocketed there though.

My friend was very intoxicated one night asking for shots and alcohol I told the bartender not to give him any alcohol he laughs and makes a joke gives my friend the drinks anyway and asked me to pay and after saying no he starts yelling at me and telling me to leave we did argue a little bit I definitely dont feel welcome there anymore it was the bartender who wears his pants below his butt crack is about 58 and has tattoos of sorts on his arm they need to get rid of him
