If giving zero stars was an option then I’d give it -5 stars. When my party arrived, just by looking at the people in line, I was thinking this was just a hole in the wall bar (we aren’t from LA, just visiting). People weren’t dressed up, some of the men had on sweatshirts and didn’t give the vibe that was about to greet us at the line. We inquired about the cover charge and were told that ladies are free and that the bouncer didn’t know what they are charging for men (that should have told me something right there lol). When we went to come through the line it was now $100 for EACH person (what happened to ladies being free within the 5 minutes of having a conversation about it with the other bouncer). See, the money was never the problem. It was the way the price went up when he saw we were a group of ethnic people and thought he could get over on us for it. Once we stepped out the way to figure out the next plan, we saw the same guy let in all the people that weren’t made like us. Here’s the kicker- most of the people at the door aren’t even white. The audacity lol. I hope the owner of this establishment sees this review and knows that your door guys are trash and are taking away from your business making money just to pocket it at the door. We came with over $2k to spend for the night but we only do business where we are welcomed and not greeted with the intentions of trying to bamboozle and hoodwink us. It must suck to suck and work a minimum wage job out here, where you have to steal at the door of your job just to be able to pay a bill. Good luck with all that.

One bouncer told us $100 for men women free and if we wanted to skip the line $200 for men but when we decided to wait in line price all of sudden it was $100 a person we literally watch door guy let in several people in for free while we waited for Uber . We didn’t mind paying the money it was more about the principals it’s like trying scam us for money I don’t like race card but definitely let in all white people with no hassle. Not to mention we was 2 different groups our first group primarily white (men) paid $100 at the door and women FREE😑

One of the most racist clubs at LA. The bouncers refused to let us in just because we were brown and he was letting all the white people get in for free of cost and asked us (me and my girlfriends) 100$ each. Its shameful that such racist behaviour is present even in today’s times. There were 6 people standing out which represented the club all of them did nothing and let us stand in the cold at night and were just plain rude and disrespectful. I hope no one faces this same problem and I hope this club is shut down soon.

Ive never had a bad time here. The main issue is the cover bounces around from $20 to $100 per person and it isnt particularly close to other fun bars, so its a gamble to show up. Once youre inside though the vibe is great and the marionettes are hilarious.

Appalling: Friend was turned away because her size was not fitting the clubs image. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. Wake up!!!! 2023 darlings-you are on the wrong side of image and culture—barfable behavior.

Great club, H wood clubs are decent . great location to have a night out dancing . there is a few rooms to engage in with a bunch of tables. The music is usually decent there . if you want a club night it’s a solid sunset west hollywood spot.

I don’t know what happened after Covid but from my favorite place this turned to be my least favorite. The place is gorgeous but organization and promoters are ridiculous. My promoter did nothing but getting high and didn’t care about anything else. Rude, Long lines for bathroom and bad service. Not used to this kind of treatment in a club.

Terrible experience. Bouncer at the front door was extremely inappropriate and disgusting. Explicitly let in Caucasian members of my party but excluded all others. Cannot understand how this is acceptable. Beyond disappointed.

Wish I could give them negative stars. This establishment is bottom of the barrel. Theyre racist but enjoy appropriating the culture. Please just go somewhere else its not worth the embarrassment nor feeling ostracized for being the color that you are. Leave this place behind in the past because it has no business still being open. Pure ignorance.

Doorman only lets in who they want and you have to look a certain way. Friends couldn’t get in even though we were with a promoter. Only let in white girls/guys. SMH

Went here last night with my friend who got her phone stolen. When we spoke to security they said hers was the 11th phone that night to get stolen! Music was good but was crammed and way too busy so it was ideal situation for people looking to steal

They are racist against black women. There was an asian man that refused to let me in because I was too dark. How do you call yourself a person of color but racist towards black women. I hope the club get shut down.

I like this place a lot for the burlesque shows they do at half time. And for the kitten dancers all throughout the night. The marionettes are hilarious too. The only downside to this place is how tiny it is. It gets really packed and its hard to move around without getting drinks all over you. There is a private room in the back with lots of space and a separate bar, but its exclusive to get in, and you probably have to pay. This is a high end club. Expect to drop atleast $200 when coming here. And to wait in a long line unless you know someone.

The most racist experience ever. Even if youve been personally invited by the DJs and put on the guestlist, dont expect to get in unless you are a thin blonde Barbie or a bratha whos friend with the bouncer. The bouncers are rude, violent, power tripping aholes asking for a lawsuit. They dont even have to ability to create an organized line, thats why everyone is shoving from all directions to attempt to get through the front door.

Randy ( the bouncer) for some odd reason with all of his schooling and what not - decides to not let me and my other male friend in.Randy you have way to much power and should learn to control the cheese burgers rather then the people you let in.

So I just got back from one of the worse nights at a club EVER. I had my iPhone X stolen out of my purse. One minute Im using it to take pictures, the next minute it is no longer in my purse.Right before I noticed my phone was gone, one of the bouncers was yelling at myself and my brother because we were sitting too far on the edge of OUR table (which we paid for) and encroaching on the neighboring table. This guy was so unnecessarily rude and aggressive.My brother and I actually apologized to him simply to get him off our backs. At that moment I noticed my phone was gone.The bouncers that worked there treated me and my friend like second class citizens. They were did nothing to help us, and in fact, ended up being aggressive towards us as we were asking them what our options were. I guess to them, we were just another group of belligerent women, even though neither one of us was even buzzed at that point.I later found out from one of the security guys that patrol that area, that Bootsy Bellows is notorious for people having their phones, wallets, and passports stolen.If you go to this place, secure your belongs BIG TIME! I will NEVER step foot in that place again.I warn any future patrons of this establishment. The bouncers are horrendous and your things are at risk of getting stolen.

Legend club, went yesterday thanks to DJ HUGEL hw got me into his list the same day! Had a blast!!! Highly recomend going there :)

Went there tonight, just to get turned around because 2 of my friends didnt make the cut. This place is super racist and full of lookism. If you arent a blonde, skinny, or super rich, DONT EXPECT TO GET IN.

Move you like cattle.... Jam packed. Pretty much whats sick about society lives inside. At least last night. Saw a girl drugged and dragged out-she was rehabilitated with her friends-*staff was helpful in that way. Stood in the line to be overlooked by a security bouncer standing 3 feet next to me. Zero acknowledgement. If you are a woman over a size 4 and dont get out of a car thats at least $95k+ dont bother showing up, youll be ignored

One of the best night clubs I have ever been to. Music was good and the crowd was attractive. Drink prices were steep but its a club so thats to be expected.

BEWARE Bootsy Bellows runs a THEFT RING. They have pick-pockets and tag teams who slam into you knocking your phone to the ground so someone else can grab it and run off, also security will create a distraction as a screen. Been happening a long time and management is in on it. From the rude service, sexism, ridiculous prices, dirty establishment and theft ring DON’T BOTHER!

Beautiful club. Small dance floor. Full of young girls. Barely any guys. Nice spot to go just for fun with your friends. Very pretentious young crowd but if thats your thing, then 🤟🏽

To flee! We came on vacation to Los Angeles (we are French.) To enjoy and have fun. We entered the box without any problem (free of charge). Once inside, my phone was stolen! $25 a drink! And in this club, there are lots of planners/promoters, who invite you to their table because you are girls. The security guards are mean, and it is forbidden to dance near the VIP area (even though the room is very small) A SHAME!!!
