The vibe at this place was completely off. Despite being located in WeHo, it was overrun by straight patrons. Within the first 30 minutes, my partner was robbed. We realized it right after we left and immediately went back to find his phone and wallet. However, the staff was extremely dismissive and couldn’t care less about our situation. When we explained what happened to the guard, we were simply told to leave. After reading other reviews, I regret ever coming here. This place has a history of theft, and honestly, given the frequency of these incidents and the fact that they have paid security, it wouldn’t surprise me if the staff were involved. Adding insult to injury, there’s even a cover charge.Save your time, money, and personal items and stay away from this place!
I went to new “ Beachs Tropicana “ last Friday August 16 th and I had a best Experience. l’ll support always the clubs in weho because I am gay and no make sense don’t support my community .in my honest opinion nothing changed since the last time I went to this place . sincerely I prefer go to the Abbey I can have a great night and have fun. Over there it’s nice People, clean place, great costumer service and good music. Guys the promoter at the door was so rude and I can’t understand why work as costumer service . I hope the manager improve your service because the club it’s nice scenario but bad management.
Do not go to this club. The securities like to feel offended and kick you out if they touch on you and you make a face and dont say anything else. Poor management. This is a serious problem with security risk of racial bias. Do not come here. Bad culture amongst security. Also sexual harassment risk from security. Unsafe.
We went there for a steve Aoki concert today at 2pm. At 2pm we were told we should come back at 3.30pm for no apparent reason. Then at 3.30 they let us in but stil, no steve aoki. Then they told us a few minutes, then they told us 6pm. At 6pm it finally happened and the concert was great with good lighting and a big screen for visuals. Sound was also good. Only this and the friendly queer people helped it to a 2 star rating. The owner, who looked like a mafia version of steve carell, was super rude and nobody could tell us when the DJ plays. we waited 4 hours for concert to start and pretty much just sat around all day till it started. Could have spent my time better if they would have communicated anything at all but they really didnt care about us.
This place is the new “mega club” on the Weho strip and it’s super fun! I love the all black tile design because it lets all the fun lights stand out even more. It would of been a 5-star rating but one redbull vodka drink is $21…which is like WOW okay no. I’m used to $16-$17 a drink in Weho but now we are paying over $20 for one drink, that’s ludicrous! Get your redbull vodka anywhere else on the strip for cheaper. I do like that they had trans go-go dancers which you never see in Weho, sure at a drag show but not as a go-go dancer in the main area. Also, they had an older over 50 female DJ (she was awesome) which again is very rare in Weho so I applaud Heart for being more inclusive to everyone. They have so many fun lights everywhere, plenty of TVs, a big dance floor on the bottom and seating/standing on the top level, and plenty of seating outside. Clean bathrooms and unisex for everyone. Altogether a super fun addition to the Weho strip!
RuPaul viewing is the best here! Its currently free for now and viewing starts at 8 pm. This is what I envision when I think of viewing parties and they are doing it right. I hope it lasts and definitely enjoyed my time! There was free seating that was first come, first served! Drinks are expensive as with most of the bars here, but overall good vibe. Its the newest bar in the Weho scene. They usually charge cover on some nights as well, but its the happening spot!
Never have I been to feel so unwelcome the bartender staff completely ignored me as I stood at the bar for over 20 minutes only catering to people around me and those who walked up being extremely flamboyant and feminine. Makes me feel like I’ll just avoid this bar from now on. If it wasn’t for the bartender with the baseball cap and glasses who literally walked up as soon as I was going to walk away from the bar and get me a drink I would of just walked out.
I love heart and have been coming here for almost a year. I know the dancers, the bartenders, everyone. I am so disappointed I got my phone stolen! It was in my front pocket and I didn’t even feel it! This club needs to do a better job and handling this reoccurring issue. Such a disappointment for a club with lots of potential.
Half of our group got our phones stolen. When I went to check with security, the guy yelled at me for approaching him and told me I was preventing the bartenders from cleaning up/closing the club. He then closed the gate, laughed at me, and went inside without ever listening to a word I had to say.
75 dollars for two drinks at pride? Come on.. bought the same two drinks at motherload later for 45. Dont rip off your own community.
*BEWARE* EXTREME THEFT RING ... DO NOT COME HERE!!YOUR PHONE AND WALLET WILL BE STOLEN!!!!!!*PROFESSIONAL PICKPOCKET THIEVES*All three of my friends and I had our phones and wallets stolen right out of our bags while we were wearing them strapped across our bodies. We were not intoxicated. It all happened within 20 minutes of being there. The security gaurds and staff did not care, which only makes me think that they are in on it. They know this is a severe problem at this particular club. The Uber driver also told us that he hears of this happening all of the time when he picks up passangers here. I feel extremely violated, as they also stole a medication that I need for emergency allergies, and there was no care or help from staff or guards. We were warned, but honestly didnt believe it to be so bad. They also wiped my phone immediately so there was no tracking it after the corner of Burton Way and S San Vicente Blvd. In order to do this they must have a computer ready on site to strip/wipe the phone.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not come here until they CARE about their patrons safety and clean up their establishment.
Beautiful venue & outside environment. I would def go back every blue moon to enjoy the people & the world around me
You will get your phone/wallet stolen if you go here, its not a question. The security are definitely in on it.
Friends got phone stolen, absolutely awful and management does nothing. Good music tho, but we suspect the club to be in on the theft ring with the pickpocketing
This is not a safe space for trans people! The first time i came here, i had my outdated ID with incorrect name and gender. the security guard stopped me and separated me from my friends to look me up and down, gave a judgmental smirk and let me in. the second time i came here, i had a temporary ID with updated information. when i presented this to the security guard she demanded to see a card ID. I gave her my ID card with my dead name…. and after she compared them side by side she kicked me out. this is not an lgbtqia+ friendly space and no members of the community should be supporting it
Heart sent out an email which offered a free ticket if you used the link to purchase before 11 PM. It is already bogus that this bar charge a cover for what they offer and the price of their drinks. Well after everyone is already in line, they have employees yelling out conflicting directions and reshuffling the lines around. Once the lines get resorted, they then announce that they will be charging for entry even for those who received their free ticket offer and had the ticket barcode ready to go for scanning. This sort of switcheroo is not acceptable. At this point we left the line and went elsewhere to other bars that arent trying to gouge us for every penny. The cover charges are so short sighted because we would happily buy our $18 drink once inside, but because Heart wants to double dip with the $10 cover, they miss out on getting anything.
Stood and waited 3 hours to see the show (2 hours after getting inside). The venue was overcrowded with a dangerous amount of people inside. Definitely wouldn’t come back under any circumstances. Why would you advertise a show starting at 9 and take absolutely no accountability for keeping hundreds of people waiting, holding their bladders, sweating and angry. You don’t deserve our business
They told me it’s $20 per person for cover, so I paid for 2 people which should be $40. I didn’t think they’d tax me but they charged me $55. How could it be $15 for tax? They must have changed the prices. I should’ve asked for a receipt but right now I’m checking my online credit card statement. Just be careful of this bar, check your credit card statement the next day because they could be overcharging you and you won’t even know it unless you check. Cute guys, good music, but greedy businesses. If y’all wanna go to heart, just bring cash.
The head of security is unprofessional and rude. My friend and I had been waiting for two hours in an unreserved section when we were kicked out, with no explanation, to make room for some random people and missed the performance we were waiting for. The rest of the staff were great aside from him.
There were a couple of incidents where the clubs social media would promote a special Dj I wanted to see but then cancel the artist’s stage time for no undisclosed reason. My friends and I were really excited to see this Dj perform for a while now, and we were disappointed to see that the club did a false advertisement on who was performing (multiple times). I find this disrespectful to the artist who was promoted for that night’s event.
MONET. is the name of a miserable security at the door checking ids. She denied my friend entry because she didnt believe it was her on her id. IT IS HER ON THE ID. she gave no real explanation as to why she wouldnt let her in, other than she doesnt feel like it. It was a disgusting experience and I will never go here again. Her character is as disgusting as her face. Terrible experience
I can’t fully give a biased review as we got there on a Sunday night. The places was not fully packed yet but was starting to get there. The music was phenomenal and we had a blast dancing around and met some awesome people
Decided to get bottle service here with a bunch of friends recently. We had a table on the dance floor. The night started out great but then went south when we kept having to defend our table from invaders. There was basically no security nearby and we had to fend for ourselves all night. Hardly a VIP experience.
My phone was stolen after 5 minutes of being here. Extreme pickpocket problem. Staff were unhelpful and extremely rude and were probably in on it. Went to 5 different security people and they told me all different answers about where their lost and found was. DO NOT COME HERE!
Credit card fraud from the bartenders. This club has only been around for a few months and I have already not only experienced fraud, but have heard from 3 friends that they had the same issue. Bartenders charging for two drinks instead of one, charging for top shelf for well liquor, and trying to charge for an extra bottle in VIP. This is a major issue for what could have been a cool new spot.
The music was better than abbys, it was changing rather than the same music over and over again. I can’t speak on the drinks because I did not order any. I was there on a Thursday and there wasn’t a lot of people and I want to come back on a Friday when there’s more people and see how it is like then.
Let me tell you that manager, security and promoter are not in the same page, the had en event we came around 12:30 and they charge me 20 dls per person we were three people, I know some clubs doesnt allow in and out(because I work in a club myself in DtLA) so we went to my friend club in Hollywood so before exciting we ask secuerites if we were allowed to come back in, bc they gave us a stamp, anwyas I swear I dont care about the money but we came back around 1:45 am (before last call) and they wanted to charge us another 20 per person even thought we ask the secuerites if we were allowed back in and they all say yeah. So a girl in the front told us that our stamp wasnt good anymore and I had friends inside so we paid another 60 dls, liek I mention before we dont care about the money I just thought it was really messed up that they didnt told us since the beginning their rules I am pretty it didnt happened to just us theyre were more people complaining about the same issue, so think very wisleing before coming in there are so many options do you wont went ripped off. I ask for the general manager and nobody helped us out.
Unbelievable. This place is ridiculous. They refused to give me water after being destroyed by a tequila shot. I could barely breathe and my throat was killing me. It was legitimately dangerous and the only option is to spend $5 to buy a bottled water bottle. When people are drinking a lot they need water to be safe. I cannot believe how dangerous this place is. Do not go to a place that doesnt care about the safety of their customers.
WARNING! youll get your wallet/phone stolen. This place has the worst case of pickpocketing in WeHo! I got my phone stolen here on 8/26/23, immediately I told the staff and they were not helpful at all, they refused to check the cameras. Next day I tried to call them and their phone doesnt even work.
We all were pickpocketed of phones and wallets. After paying high cover fees to enter, we were surprised by very Expensive horrible drinks. Lousy music & lousy dj’s with a nasty vibe from all employees. To top it off, the one in our group who luckily didn’t get his wallet stolen just his I phone, ended up with credit card fraud immediately the next day after using his card there. There’s fraud going on be very careful.
Never come!!! Lack of respect on the part of the security personnel at the entrance, especially those who check ID, terrible and ordinary attention at the bar. The bartender was almost pulling the debit card out of my hands before I handed it over. The drink was overpriced and worst of all, undrinkable.
Music was lame, minimal decorations, and awful attitude from bartenders.Bartender spent the whole time glaring at my friends and I the whole time he made drinks for us, and then he cut us off for not tipping even though he was charging us for twice as many drinks as we bought and refused to give a receipt of what we were charged for. Felt like he was trying to take advantage of us being drunk and not being able to realize wed been robbed for a little while. Security isnt any better, multiple problems when they would follow close behind and make a grab for out phones so if you decide to come here despite this for the Ru Paul girls (if you can even see them without fighting thru the crowd) keep your belongings in your front pockets. Be prepared to be forced to watch 10 minute ads in the middle of the performance too.
Do NOT buy tickets to come for anything related to Ru Paul’s Drag Race. They will promise the world as far as drag performances and commentary, and deliver absolutely nothing. Waiting an hour after the episode ended for the queens to finally come out and do or say anything, and giving up. BOOO
These people need to learn something about customer service and how to be a luxury brand. Bartender wasnt willing to admit his mistakes when he overcharged us for 4 drinks instead of 3 in a loud club. Security guards were disrespectful and argumentative. If you are going to charge premium prices I expect a premium experience. Is this a straight club? No wonder they call it Rage 2.0.
Unfortunately Heart is plagued by thieves. Within 30 minutes of entering my phone was stolen out of a zipped bag. In addition the staff was unresponsive in heping recover another lost item. They do not answer their phone. And did not respond to DMs on their insta page. I wasted a trip to weho & back only to find out they item had not been recovered. Avoid at all costs.
Went on Friday great latin and Edm music
Stay away from this place!!! Got my phone stolen from here. Security and workers did nothing for me. Staff is extremely judgmental and rude. Take your business elsewhere. Very bad/evil vibes.
Overpriced and overhyped! Drinks are expensive and watered down. Place packed us like sardines for an event, could barely move or breathe! Most of the club was roped off for VIP. Definitely not worth it!
Don’t come. My friend bought a drink at 1:40 then they kicked everybody out at 1:50am (ten minutes before closing) the bouncer took the drink she just bought and dumped it into the trash as we were leaving. They don’t respect your money so I felt the need to write this review.
A cool club with a big dance floor and big stage. My only qualms are the prices plus the cover make it an expensive experience (but not too far above average weho), serving drinks in disposable cups feels cheap and wasteful and mostly their unwillingness to give out free water. People are dancing and going crazy and youre not going to give out water? Seems dangerous and rude to me.
We got a promo email with free tickets valid before 11. We got there at 10:40, and they kept shuffling the line around and delaying it, then wouldn’t accept our tickets because it took too long to get through the line.
Paid $15 and no one was dancing and the vibes were dead. What a waste of cover when I could literally go to Micky’s for free. Bartenders are nice though.
Horrible experienceThey thought I was pick pocketing and they pulled me into the kitchen. Told me I needed a medical card to prove I had a hip replacement. Darla is the name of the girl who swore she was sure of the medial card.
Newly renovated! The LED light panel on the outdoor facade is cute. They put a sleek face-lift on the old club. Rage 2.0. Worth it if youre into the Instagay scenester crowd and kids in their 20s. I to prefer 30+ and the types of that go to warehouse parties in DTLA.Attitude at the door can be a bit sophomoric at times. This isnt Berlin, calm down lolAlways nice to have a new venue in Los Angeles, but theres still nothing in West Hollywood or really Los Angeles to rival the best parties, clubs, or people in Europe and other international destinations, where guys are hot *and* friendly.
Great place to go in West Hollywood.DJs are on point and the atmosphere is amazingIt he as 2 floors and 2 bars and a mini bar in the patio areaReally good spots so you can take a pic solo or with friendsJust make sure you arrive ready to party
My iPhone was stolen last night. It was totally bad experience. We tried to report security guards, but they didnt do anything, at all. Very disappointed!
Good sound and lighting. Lots of bar space to get drinks. Fun atmosphere.
Every time I ask for any fruit margarita, it’s tastes like rubbing alcohol and has no fresh fruit mashed in it, just artificial flavors.
My first time here at hear weho was last year and since I barhopped with my friend i decided to come here at heart weho 💋🏳️🌈
Lol they just painted black and put some lights on. Also why invited vip and not let anyone to go up unless you had a table not a good start. What a joke this place is
CHANGE YOUR STAFF. They are destroying your club. Your employees are ruining your business. DM me if you want more info.
Horrible experience. Got pickpocketed off my phone and wallet. I read the other reviews and it seems like this happens here all the time. Beware!
Beautiful bar with great ambiance and crowd. This was my first time in WeHo and Heart was (by far) my favorite bar.
Disgusting food!! I ordered BBQ wings. They gave me hot wings with nasty BBQ sauce.
Hate to say it, but it’s really just a very mediocre club in fancy makeup. Could stay there all night, nothing wrong about it - also nothing exciting either.
You will get pickpocketed at this place. Someone stole our iPhone from our purse last night
Very Strict about WHO the owners , Lance Bass and other, older gay men who are elusive
Came on disco Sundays and it wasnt really disco, more like disco inspired, sounds cliche but Id like to hear real disco.
Would not recommend.! the security is so rude and loves to jump people! DONT COME HERE !
Said they close at 4 and charges $20 cover, then closed at 2.
I went there to party with happy LGBQ people. Why is it straight weirdo guys running Sunday night???
They expected people to stand up and eat during the superbowl!!! Lame!!! Bad service!!
The head of security is rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Highly don’t recommend.
Ordered casamigos got cazadores the bartender literally didnt have a brain
Great place on Friday night to get drunk with friends 10/10 will come again!
What happened to Sunday LGBT night??? Ugly straight gays took over Sunday night!!! Disappointing!!!
Too bad they removed the Latin nights and its nothing like when it was rage,
No seats at bar for Superbowl!! Rude staff!!
Really good club, at least on Saturday night
Terrible service!
Overpriced drinks horrible accommodations to their patrons
My honest opinion as a costumer it’s a dirty place and bad costumer service now my opinion as a Brazilian artist living in Los Angeles I need to tell for you guys in my whole life I had never felt disrespected before. I had many bad experiences working at the heart and I hope you improve the management because the club has a great stage, has a good audience but doesnt have good employee.Happy new year 2024 💛💚GOD BLESS YOU GUYS 🙏🏽🇺🇸🇧🇷🌈Peace and love. For those who are Brazilian and are reading this message, this represents a cry for freedom. I was a DJ for this group a few times when I didnt have my papers and the rest I dont need to say. No immigrant knows what we went through here, but the community that should welcome me because I Im also gay, he excluded me, humiliated me and abused mementally. Now I feel relieved because I did my part!
Very good atmosphere, we had a lot of fun with our friends
They say its good hahaha
